im trying to learn how to better keep & reheat leftovers (bc if i dont know how to do a specific thing my brain won't let me try At All) and im getting better at eating bc im learning how to rely on food i know i like & lasts me at least a few days but is very easily heatable

#frozen meals are quick but i cannot rely on them #because they always either taste really off or i'm allergic to like 5 things in them (BROCCOLI WHY ARE YOU EVERYWHERE)#but if i know a recipe my mom can make at home #then we just make like 4 servings and i eat that for 4 days #and i genuinely do really like eating the same meal every day (it's The Tism™) so it really works #usually i really only know how to reheat things with rice & pasta #because. well. i eat a lot of rice and pasta #but other foods like. my brain goes BAD NO when i get it out of the fridge bc its Not How Im Used To #like i always have a strong reaction to refrigerated chicken bc it smells SO BAD as a leftover but its still fine #but my brain is like *NO!!!! ROTTEN!!!!! SPOILED!!!!!!* i have to like convince it it's fine with Facts and Logic #and so i'm learning how these foods react to being refrigerated so it doesnt freak me out (REFRIGERATED SOUP MY BEFUDDLING)#and learning how to make them last longer (i can save my sandwiches now without the bread getting rock hard!!)#and its kind of helping me eat more often #it doesnt help as much with the days where brain says No Food No Thanks Fuck You #but it DOES help with the days where i dont have the energy/time/physical ability to make something else #usually i don't eat a lot when my mom isn't home because i need her help with Basically Everything now #but if i have something i can quickly shove into the microwave its a lot easier for me to get food by myself #AND i have our crappy old microwave in my room (its 700w lmao) so if i REALLY cant do much #i can just snatch the food from the fridge and sit in bed while it heats up #i'm planning on getting a mini fridge for my room soon to stock emergency meals #the one im looking at is only 200$ plus it has a mini freezer too so i might actually be able to in a couple months #which makes me happy i love finally making progress on accessibility goals

Kinger

Imagine lost your partners TWICE. Lolololol loser/J

Everything seems to occur in slow motion from Kinger's point of view, a heart he once had is somehow beating against his body. He prays to any god on this earth, be it real or not, or even Caine maybe, that this nightmare isn't happening again to him. Please, everyone, but not you.

Kinger tries to do everything so his lover don't reach the great peak of their insanity, even though he's not very good at it, knowing his personality. But trust me when I said, he tried. Who cares if he will get all glitched for touching your form, he needs you.

He never thought he would live another nightmare inside a nightmare. And in seconds that felt like painful hours to Kinger, here "you" are, a noisy form covered in eyes that flash in different colors. Your skin (if we can call it skin) moves abruptly as if it were a bag full of enraged cats. And, god, how he wished it was him instead.

Things are resolved by the talking human jaw, and yet the silence in Kinger's little pillow fort is no longer comforting as it once was. Silence now makes the small chess piece itch in agony. Silence that could be enjoyed with your presence, with holding your hand or dancing with you, and chat about random stuff he and you knows. The feeling of missing someone is familiar to him, and yet, it hits him in ways that his years in this circus haven't hit him.

Caine

While Kinger tries to do everything, Caine actually does anything to try saving your corrupted mind, and the lack of power in this situation leaves the digital being in panic. A simple snap of the fingers is not enough, and this information makes him tremble in ways he never thought he would tremble before for a simple human.

You aren't just any character, you are his favorite, the lil' buddy he spoils every hour and that always push a giggle from him. You were his very own star. The show could continue the same without you, Caine was sure of it, but could he? Without a character as entertaining as you in action?

"Of course I can fix them, I am Caine!" It's a phrase that was repeated several times in the presenter's programming, But with every grunt coming from the thing that once was you, it's just a reminder to Caine that he did a horrible job trying to take care of you. There were other characters that were abstracted of course, but... You were special to him. His favorite star. His star.

Caine even feels hesitant to put you in the hole of other characters who were abstract before. He preferred to keep you in a cage away from other people's contact, with no one hurting you and no one hurting you.

He knows, he knows the painful truth that you cannot be considered a sapient being, but even though you are a trace of what you once were, Caine doesn't have the courage to lose you forever.

With the other characters, Caine will act normally, with his loud and lively personality. Only if they analyze Caine close enough, the characters would notice something wrong with him.

And then, sometimes, he just stares at you in the cage. Caine ponders if he should admit the lost of his favorite star, it would be easier, but the pride in his chest screams that there must be some way that he could actually save you from...this.

Ragatha

Somehow, the scene is all silent for her. Ragatha stares at you as if the impossible itself is happening in front of her.

Ragatha holds your hands about to disappear, she caressed what was left from your shoulders, she hurriedly whispers words that would normally calm you down, but nothing can save you from the fate of your sanity, just leaving her with the pain of being glitched.

Of course, she had her other friends like Pomni, but lost you?!

Ragatha thinks she saw everything during her new experience in the digital circus, but something common like losing someone so important was the end of the line for her. You were her darling, her sunshine and her little everything even.

Everything she did sounded slightly more boring and boring without your presence, and Ragatha could do nothing about it. She continues (at least tries) to remain strong after that, still trying to complete the little adventures that Caine gives to the participants. But Ragatha's slow pace and lack of smiles was very noticeable.

The weight on Ragatha's chest is too much, losing someone so sweet and perfect for her in such a horrible way is too much. And the worst part is that Ragatha believes that she could have done something to save you, she could have been with you more often so that your mind didn't fall apart like this. But now, she can do nothing but mourn.

a/n; im gonna go out on a limb here and say you dont want yandere obsessive tendencies in the relationship (i dont write yandere bc i hate that trope and i dont understand the appeal). i only did three bc this was all i can think of, im so sorry- hope you enjoy this either way. thank you for requesting and for your patience.

i think we all saw this coming when i say, sae probably gotta have some odd habits and thoughts when it comes to being a relationship. he's precise and serious in his soccer, and that bleeds into his relationships. it has nothing to you, no, not when he's so used to seeing into every detail and every possibility. he keeps trying to predict what you will do, and then you surprise him when it's not what he expected. most of the time, this happens when you're just doing something without much thought. he gets kind of weird about it though, he just blue-screens and had to take a moment before asking what is wrong with you because you didn't do the thing he expected. you have to tell him that this is just how you are, and he refuses to be outsmarted by his partner when he's usually the one with the brain cell between you two.

he feels the need to check on you a lot because he doesn't express it outright. he observes you like he's in a game match. it's cute at first but then you realize, "oh god he's really paying attention a little too well..."

he hates if you ever even try to interact with rin. he is one jealous little shit. if he's in a good mood [which is hard to tell with him], you have like a higher chance of talking to rin. but most days, he's keeping you away from him.

bachira is unpredictable and he's crazy. he loves you a lot. and i mean a lot. he's extremely clingy towards things he cherishes and that probably stems from the lack of friends he had back then and he's just scared to lose you. but sometimes he really impedes on the day-to-day routine. he needs reassurance when you're gone. he texts you a lot. very standard clingy person.

he feels the need to be a guard dog. he's possessive but not in the way sae would be with his jealously. no, bachira is possessive but he's confident that he will keep you protected from others. but also he loves to wreak havoc so he likes being loud about being clingy and protective. it can get overwhelming.

i'm gonna be real, this one is short because bachira's traits could probably be pretty amplified in a relationship and honestly, i would go as far as to think that most of his traits would just be either better or worse in a relationship.

overbearing. that should be enough to explain it.

he's got a weird complex with him. at least that is what i think. he really stuck with nagi a lot, and i think he would do the same in a romantic relationship. he's gotten too used to coddling nagi and he does the same to you. he spoils you. and it's great at first, but it can be a lot at once. and honestly i think he feels the need to compensate for something. what is the thing he's compensating for? i don't know, but he gives me those "compensating for something with money" vibes.

i think it's safe to say that all the boys have a pride to uphold and reo is no different. he hates being inactive. he wants to help you all the time. and i mean all the time. he wants to be useful but he goes at it terribly. he wants to be relied on.

is it crazy to say that i think reo is the worst out of the three here? probably but whatever.

But no worries, if you dont have that much energy, he will gladly stay with you in home, cuddling and watching movies. Its hard to be bored around him, he has some calming aura around. i think that because the ROs are their own people with thoughts and emotions, and that this doesnt revolve around MC because the ROs have their own actions, people start to think that their MC is a loner because they see the other characters super put together (um. as they should, its chapter two??) and this makes people feel bitter/annoyed because they feel like since they control everything abt MC, that MC is a loser because they dont APPEAR to be as composed as the other ROs and characters are, and it pisses them off (which sucks because, how lame can u be? its literally the second chapter. do people break down crying to you at ur second week of friendship? no babe, they dont)

so, in short, you write your OC's so well that when the other people get to compare the ROs to MC, they feel like MC's a loser because they know ALL of MC's feelings, and forget the ROs are their own people that ren't gonna relay all their thoughts and emotions out for MC

this is not meant disrespectfully <3 if it seems rude my bad

hahaha thank you. I realized that I think the root cause of most of the complaints? disappointment? comes from things that people would only know if we weren't in MC's POV. A lot of this is one-sided, because we don't know what the other characters are thinking. All we see is MC's inner turmoil so it makes it seem like MC is the only one struggling, which...I mean I showed that Rowan is going through his own inner struggle when they had their talk, so I did want to show that it's not just MC who feels a bit out of their depth.

The story is always going to feel biased or leaning a certain way because we're in MC's head. MC has no idea what the other people are thinking/feeling (aside from the POVs and even then, I have to sanitize it so I don't spoil the routes).

If people expect a power fantasy or a wish fulfillment story where the characters fawn over MC, please don't haha. I don't like those, and I don't like reading main characters who are perfect. MC is not the center of any of their worlds, and they have a lot of problems that MC has no idea about yet.

Once the romance starts, it'll be different obviously, and they'll start treating MC in a way we haven't seen before, but they're still their own people!

I think the only RO who thinks about MC to an extreme is Seven Lawless....surprise surprise.

y/n wasn't exactly a morning person. If her alarm wakes her up she'd be in a grumpy mood all day. And if Pablo was the one to wake her up she would give him the silent treatment all day.

You wouldn't think Pablo was good in the kitchen. However, he was the good chef in the relationship. y/n usually just made some pasta which was the easier thing for her, but Pablo always made sure to try some new things for his girl (we love a boyfriend that can cook don't we)

He changed from his training kit, and put on a hoodie and some sweatpants. He then walked back to the kitchen to start the breakfast.

He made some pancakes and cut some fruits on the top with a little bit of whipped cream. He also made her some coffee, knowing its what wakes her up fully.

He slowly made his way to their shared bedroom and opened the door quietly. He placed the tray of food on the nightstand next to the bed and slowly got in bed next to y/n

She was laying with a peaceful look on her face, her hair spread across the pillow as she was laying in one of his jerseys.

He brushed some hair from her face and smiled. He leaned in and pressed a kiss on her forehead. When he saw that she didn't react he pressed a kiss on the tip of her nose.

She scrunched her nose up but never opened her eyes. Pablo knew that she was now half awake. He pressed a kiss on her left cheek and then the right cheek before he settled his lips on hers.

She finally opened her eyes and was met with a smiling Pablo. If she woke up on her own she would've smiled at him, but instead she sent him a glare making him chuckle

"good morning sunshine " he cooed making her groan

" fuck off" she flipped over and covered her face with the blanket that was covering her

"no no you're not gonna sleep again" he said removing the blanket from over her face

"fuck you Pablo" she groaned covering her eyes as she still hadn't adjusted to the light that came from the opened curtains

"you wish. I made you some breakfast. How does breakfast in bed feel mhm?" he grabbed the tray from the nighstand and made y/n sit up.

He placed the tray on her lap and smiled at her

"you made me breakfast? what's the occasion?" she asked, a small smile making its way to her face

"should there be an occasion to make my beautiful girlfriend some breakfast" he asked smiling at her happy face

"come on tell me why" she nudged his shoulder making him sigh

"okay okay I just feel like I haven't been there a lot for you and wanted to make it up to you, so I decided on some breakfast in bed with some coffee" he said watching her dive into the pancakes

"you know I don't mind you being away a lot. wait that came out wrong. I mean I understand that you have to be away and I'm glad you're doing what you love with the team you love. I knew what I was getting myself into when I started dating you and I wouldn't change my mind now" she assured him before taking a sip of her coffee

He smiled at her before grabbing her jaw between his fingers. He attached their lips into a small but meaningful kiss, tasting the coffee she had just drank

"I love you so much Pablo" she murmured against his lips

he pressed his forehead against hers and interlocked their fingers on his lap

"I love you more mi amor" he mumbled back

oppen heimer style

let me just start this by saying that this is not necesarily nolan being back to form, necesarily. i would place it just above the rest of nolan's dark period known as intersrellar, dunkirk and tenet. but that is not an exceedingly high bar to pass.

he has sadly become a director that i still respect appreciate and whose movies i enjoy but whom i can no longer say is an unmatched genius.

lets start with the bad.

its too long, and its pacing its a little awkward, no need to worry for spoilers here since we all know the history. the big money shot that we were all expecting, the trinity test, it happens roughly at the middle of the movie and after that the movie struggles to reach any other point of heightened emotion as high as that one.

its a solid three hour experience and more than once it had me wondering "ok, how much left, are we done yet?" but i will say this: once i reached the final scene and the credits start i did not feel a tired relief that it was finaly over, thank god. i feel dread, i felt doom and dread. i was fucking terrified. this movie has a good strong final scene that makes you forget of previous tests of patience you might have gone through watching it.

it tries to do this weird parallel story telling between lewis strauss and oppenheimer that it feels like they tried to film two different movies and then awkwardly splie them together. it jumps back and forth between the past and the present told form different points of view and a lot of it feels like it could have been cut out and the movie would have worked just as well. im not sure how necessary was the whole lewis strauss subplot to be honest.

the characters and dialog work a little better than in previous movies although we still get a lot of scenes of people talking in a clinical manner with expository dialog and deep philosophical musings. but once again i will say nolan seems to be learning some lessons, we do get a lot of scenes where actors are allowed to flex their emotional muscles.

in a lot of ways this is nolan's most lurid film. i think this is the first time we get to see breasts and naked people having sex in a nolan movie and it hits hard, both because of how unexpected it is in a nolan film and because of how out of context it shows up in-universe. i dont actually want to spoil this one because the effect it achieves actually worked really well.

and now moving on to the good, if i mentioned this might be nolan at his most lurid, it is certainly also at his most poetic. sure there is inception, but in here we get to see a lot of surrealist or downright metaphorical scenes without the excuse of being inside a dream. we get to see things that are not happening literally in universe but that are an artistic representation of what the characters are feeling. it felt really effective.

the man himself

this is a movie that is very much about the titular guy and trying to understand his inner world, trying to understand who the hell was this person, and honestly, where did he get off.

it seems oppenheimer was a complicated man, whose actions and desitions were sometimes confusing, sometimes downright contradictory (there is a nice wink to this when talking about the paticle/wave duality at the beggining of the film). he was a communist, he was a proud american, he was a genius, he was painfully naive,he was merely following orders but he had absolute control over his little town in los alamos, he worked hard for peace, he created nuclear war, he built a bomb that he didnt want people to use.

i heard criticisms that this movie romanticizes his work, that it may excuse or justify the use of the bomb, that it may be too kind with the guy. rest assured it doesnt. the movie brings up multiple times how the japanese were basically already surrendering, how senseless and callous and cruel the use on japanese cities was, how attrocious and horrifying the effects of the bomb were. and how oppenheimer definely contributed to it. if it shows the guy hand wringing or feeling gulty or trying to be a martyr of sorts, the movie definetly calls him out on that too by saying that its very rich of him to have done the deed and then regret it as if he didnt knew what he was doing or as if he had no control over it. a lot of times the movie shows the man as spineless, as a moral coward, as someone who was too weak to take on a position. "you dont get to commit a sin and then make everyone else feel pity for you because there are consequences!" is yelled at his face.

yet all the same, either because he is portrayed by cyllian murphy and his puppy dog eyes or because nolan deep down still admires who he was and what he did, you cant help but feel bad for the guy and like him still. he was a person, a complicated person with ugly sides that this movie in no way ignores, but still a brilliant man who at the very least had the basic decency to feel bad for the atrocities he contributed to.

going back to the movie itself

its has a weirdly star studded cast. if you were surprised by the sudden appearance of matt damon in interstellar, get ready to have that feeling multiple times during this film, every other scene suddenly shows up a hollywood megastar and it will take a few seconds before you accept ok, i guess gary oldman is in this film, and is that rami malek? and oh right, robert downy junior and oh my god is that fucking kenneth brannagh. in fact the one hollywood actor who is NOT in this movie, is surprisingly, inexplicably enough michael caine.

truly, breaking new ground.

and the cameos dont stop at the stars, the characters themselves are a constant delightful surprise if you are into the history of quantum mechanics and science in the first half of the 20th century. you have einstein of course (presented as this old exiled king, his time of glory long past but still sough after for his wisdom) but you have also bohrs, heisenberg, feynman, fermi, and fucking gödel somehow (they managed to shoe in a comment about his paranoia and hipocondry)

the actual explosion

time to talk about the thing we all went to see this movie for. is the atomic explosion cool? is it big? is it loud? does it go boom? does it look cool?.

suffice to say. yes. one of the coolest experiences i had in watching film ever in my life. it has a build up of a solid 30 minutes or so (arguably its been building up the entire movie) the tensin keeps on rising all through out. the countdown slowly advances, the expectations are at the highest theyve ever been and by the time the bomb was actually about to go off in the middle of the american desert, the first atom bomb ever exploted, my heart was hammering out of my chest.

its fully worth the price of admission and the three hours.

final comments

i want to double back to the poetic filmmaking i mentioned early to comment about the main thing its used for. nolan makes it clear in no uncertain terms the horror that atomic weapons unleashed on the world. the man goes out of his way to make it clear, these things can destroy the planet. we've all become perhaps a bit desensitized to atomic explosion in film, made more and more espectacular with the advancement of cgi. but this movie brings it back home and leaves you with a last message about the danger of nuclear proliferation.

i walked out of the theatre with my legs shaking and my eyes falling out of my skull. i had a hard time talking a bit afterwards, i was a little shell shocked.

so, i guess in the end, my thoughts on this movie are just as complicated as the man himself, the man who oppenheimed the world.

arthur is so patient and understanding with you

from the moment you met him, you never felt the need to mask around him because he never questioned your behaviors or belittled you for them

if any problems ever arised, arthur would always be quick to come to your defense

hes very careful with you; he handles you like he's holding a butterly. not because he thinks youre fragile or incapable, but because he cares for you too much and never wants to hurt you

he also knows that youre sensitive to things and will take mental notes

if he sees that you cover your ears when something loud happens, he'll be sure to be quiet around you

he's not very good at being upfront with his emotions, and you can't always catch onto his hints which ends up with you being confused

but he's trying to break that habit

youre both very understanding of each others needs and its nice to be able to completely be yourself around your partner

You’re a god, their baker. You have been around for as long as time. You’ve seen it all, love, betrayal, revenge, all of it. You’ve watched your kingdom go from ruler to ruler. The ruler or rulers find out your identity, worship you, do things behind your back, lie to your face about it, watch the kingdom then fall, and you rebuild it again waiting to watch it happen all over again. You bake new cookies, you place them all across the world so they can get their own experiences, personality’s, and opinions before reaching the kingdom. Every ruler has been the same.

This was your thousandth time rebuilding. You watch the kingdom thrive as you live as a common folk, with a different name. There was no specific ruler, everyone helps around. You’ve never seen this before.

You start slipping words and showing signs of your true identity for the people so everyone’s suspicious of you. How would this kingdom react to their god living among them?

“(Fake Name) has been acting weird, don’t you agree?” GingerBrave said as you walk by.

Strawberry only nods.

You continue walking, burning stares on your back. You turn left and bump into a cookie.

“Oh I’m sorry- (Fake Name)? I was just looking for you!” You look up and see Madeleines face. “Will you follow me?”

“..Alright.” Your plan is in motion.

He leads you to the castle, the large doors open and reveal the remaining ancients. Pure Vanilla, Hollyberry, and Dark Cacao.

“May I ask whats this about?” You already knew, but you gotta play the part.

“Theres been few things going around we need to clear everything up, come take a seat.” Hollyberry said.

After the long conversation, it didn’t go anywhere.

“Everyone believes you’re hiding your true identity, they say you’re lying..” Dark Cacao says.

“Im not sure what you want me to-” you try to lift your hand up from off your lap, you graze it against the sharp table edge. Golden bloods drips from your hand to the table cloth.

You look up from your hand to see everyone at the table wide eyed.

“Baker…” Hollyberry whispered.

“I didn’t see that coming..” Pure Vanilla said in a hushed tone.

The next few weeks, the entire Kingdom and beyond found out about your true identity. You where spoiled with lavish items and clothing. Everyone seemed glad with your arrival, besides one. Pure Vanilla.

Every decision you made, he pushes it aside and says his is better. He goes behind your back and makes changes to things saying ‘Baker wanted it’. The other ancients loved and adored your presence.

“Pure Vanilla, do you mind giving this letter to Herb? Its very important and I’m very busy at the moment.”

“Of course baker.” He takes the letter and leaves.

You wrote a fake letter asking Herb to meet you some where. Pure Vanilla was outside the door reading it. Pure Vanilla always tells you, ‘You can’t leave the castle, you have duty’s to take care of’.

A few hours later Pure Vanilla comes back to your office with a cup of tea. “The maids said you havent left your office so they prepared you a cup of tea.” Thats a lie, all lies.

You left the office after Pure Vanilla left, you left to go look at changes he made behind your back, and had tea with the maids.

You nod, you then take the tea and smell it.

“I have a few things to do, I won’t bother you anymore.” He turns and begins leaves.

Poison, You thought. This tea is laced with a deadly poison, one so deadly to kill a god.

“Before you go.” Pure Vanilla turns around. “Do you take me for a fool?”

“W-what?”

“I know a deadly poison when I smell it. I knew you hated me, but going this far to prove it? Makes me wanna laugh.” You stand up, tea in hand.

“I would never!”

“So you call me a liar?” You walk closer to him, he begins to sweat and shake. “Ive been around a lot longer than you… Hm, maybe my nose isn’t working the same as it use to. Why dont you take the first sip?”

Pure Vanilla starts to stutter out excuses why he cant. You grab his hair and pul him to the ground, you lift his face and open his mouth with your hand. You pour the tea in his mouth. Covering his mouth and nose once its in his mouth, so he gad no choice but to swallow. He then starts to cough.

“Aw, does your mouth burn? Throat hurt? Is the poison eating you alive? Im no idiot Pure Vanilla, I knew your game from the beginning..”

Pure Vanillas laying on the ground holding his throat, eyes going white.

“Tell me Pure Vanilla, does it hurt to die?”

He’ll gift you those art materials in a cute boquet. Of course, he makes sure those art materials are safe for you to use! Unless of course you are a digital artist, no problem! He’ll buy you a huge pen tablet or maybe a 12.9 inch ipad. Who’s he kidding? He buys both!

Hm? What’s that? He’s speding too much? Heaven’s no! He has the money and therefore will put it to good use! And part of the good use is spoiling you to bits!

Okay, okay, materialisticness aside— Jinwoo loves to indulge in your warmth. The love that you spread with your presence, that precious sunlight you give out— He really...Really loves it.

He isn’t a man of words. So he compensates by soft and romantic touches.

Jinwoo holds you gently but also firm enough to have you know that you are in his arms. He actually get’s scared sometimes, he fears that he might accidentally squeeze tight that he’ll crush your bones.
