Some Broken Bonds stuff, plus doodles:

Splinter taught Raph how to knit when he was very young. Raph loved it, and continued to learn all about knitting, sewing, etc. This spiralled into a love of sewing and textiles. It was also something he and Splinter could spend time doing together, and still is.

It's now Raph's main hobby, and he often adjusts or makes clothes for himself and the rest of his family (bc yknow. shells and stuff). One of these things is Donnie's favourite hoodie that he often wears off missions.

My last post on this (tho ill keep reblogging others' posts) but a few days ago I actually wanted to complain about this and then never did so ill do it now.

I unfollowed Noah a few weeks ago? On insta. And completly forgot that he also has tiktok and that i followed him there so one of his newer videos popped up on my page and it was smth like Eleven dancing in Fortnite and i checked the comments, hoping to see some palestenian flags🇵🇸 or anyone calling him out, but it was FILLED with support for him and "youre back baby🥺" "noah online era again!" "omg ily! Pls say hi to me🥺" and then i opened his full acc and noticed that That recent video was also more viewed and liked than some of his previous videos... all he had to do for so many people to switch up was... post a stupid fucking tiktok about Stranger Things... and just like that he was being idolised again, all it took...

Fucking pathetic and sad.

Love Will Byers all u want (he'll probably always be one of my alltime favourite characters too) but do not hide behind that to support Noah or Brett or Levy or whatever. Theyre awful human beings and they dont care about anyone but themselves. You can love the character and hate the actor. Fanarts and ao3 are free, you dont need to support ST. Pirate the show, make your own merch, only interact with free fanmade content. There's no need to show support for official Stranger Things stuff. Actually, take it a step further and boycott what the bds movement is asking to boycott!

But the people, on their own, also started these specific boycotts! (Starbucks too! I was obsessed with pumpkin spice latte but im never stepping foot inside a Starbucks again).

Again, the MAIN TARGETS are the ones inside the first box. The second and third box are about putting PRESSURE on them (ofc we cant boycott google but we Can put pressure) and the last box is the "the people started it on their own without the bds asking" boycotts! Disney and Starbucks (although both missing from the 4th box) are actually part of the "people started/led" boycotts too!

There are also people out there sharing FREE books (online) about Palestine! It's easy to look up but I can send you some if you don't find anything, I'm reading one myself.

There are also essays made by others that summarise specific books!

(Apparently this one also has a voiceover? Not sure bc I still havent checked it out but I saw Multiple people reccomend it and will hopefully get to it soon!)

Last thing: depending on where you live (im not from the US, nor live there, and that's the main genocide supporter) you can also call your representatives, send emails (you can find premade speeches) and go to protests! And most of all, you can share the videos from Palestine! By journalists such as Motaz, Bisam and Plestia.

Hmm, maybe. From my memory of the tomodachi streams, he did kind of hate vlinny at the start, but I think that was due to him considering vlinny a pointless character, and/or thinking he looked weird (at least from what I can remember off the top of my head). sorry to anybody who followed me for bnha content, ive fallen out of the fandom with no intention of returning (at least to the degree i used to be active)

i'll probably reblog fics or art here and there and do some strip game stuff (hawks has almost met that milestone so next one hopefully soon) but aside from that there will be no bnha content here

Thank you so much! I'm glad it's a treat, that makes me so happy 🥹 and the answer is Soon! Hopefully. I have some sketches I could dump here in the meantime between pieces, probably.

There's a lot in the works! I have to just finished a batch of stuff I have going on. It can be a little challenging at the moment. I'm also juggling commissions, personal work (which is my BTD fanart, ect), and then my own personal projects I'm trying to work on getting off the ground.

Without getting into the gritty, I admit it's hard to 'plan' much for anything art wise right now, which isn't to sound cynical, more that currently my chronic fatigue is horrible and I haven't been able to be on meds to combat a lot of my symptoms and flare ups (I'm being vague on purpose, since I don't really enjoy going into my illnesses in depth online). That being said, finding the _ability_ let alone the energy to draw has been kind of tricky lately.

But! I got really good news today, actually! I'm starting new meds that should hopefully actually help me for the first time in a year. So I'm looking forward to having more energy , focus, and generally feeling like a real alive human so I can start posting art more consistently!

Sorry this was such a long winded answer, it's something I already wanted to post about hehe. Thank you again, and I hope that gives a better time frame and helps explain why I'm kind of a sporadic poster.

Overwhelmed with how amazing today already is and I'm feeling extremely physically ill atm... LmAO Just rolling with it. 😵‍💫

I made one of my life achievements before the year ended?? Like wHAT?? IT'S AN X-MAS EVE MIRACLE 😭😭😭

Gonna try to keep it up when I feel less sick... and a lil during. ✌️🤪 I HOPE THIS MEANS YOU ALL WILL GET MORE ART FROM ME??! That's so exciting?? I wanna be more proud of myself on my art journey next year... Once I find a job, a therapist and get on meds again, maybe that could be a reality for me...

Hey! This is a bizarre ask but hopefully a welcome one after *gestures at the destruction and fire*. I’m completely new to the Loki/thorki fandom, having essentially come in via the exit door by watching the Loki tv series first. I was honestly just watching it for junk value to have something in the background while I knit. However, when I realized that I didn’t understand anything by the middle of Ep. 1, I went back to watch Thor 1 so I could get what was going on. And HOLY SHIT I was utterly captivated by Loki’s character in the original movie, as well as by the Loki-Thor and Odin family dynamics. I’ve now watched through the films and have been increasingly disappointed by the portrayal of Loki (since Avengers 1 frankly) save a few glimmers of good characterization here and there.

I can’t believe that I’m getting myself into another queer coded (and now more than coded wtf) “villain” with a tragic backstory who’s done dirty by the fandom at large, but here we are! I’m also super into thorki because goddamn… they sure do have a Dynamic™.

So I guess my question is, what is actually good here? I feel like I’ve been trying to fight my way back to Kenneth Branagh!Loki, and have been largely unsuccessful within canon content. Do you have suggestions for a newcomer re: fics, fanart, and meta that actually treats Loki seriously? (and thorki as well?)

And this isn't a bizarre ask at all. It was really nice to receive actually! And yeah! I'm so glad you went back and watched the originals. The TV Show character is a completely new character played by the same actor who has nothing in common with the original character (who yes is absolutely fascinating and captivating and multilayered). Honestly I just think of the tv character as Larry, Loki's dumb lookalike cousin bc they have nothing in common lol. So glad the show led to you discovering good content...and thorki. And yeah Thor 2011 is amazing! It's so underrated. If you want meta relating to that and also just gushing about the film you can def check out my Thor 2011 tag.

i was scrolling through your blog again today and i got down to that ask i sent you about chapter 11 and....wow. i just checked and it's.......7477 words. the essays i write for school are less words than that??? thank you for getting me back into writing????

amd im still thinking about chapter 11 and what it could all mean, too! i havent the faintest clue where this is going and i am so grateful for it. a lot of the time i have the unfortunate ability to guess where things are gonna go so whenever something stumps me i am !!!!

and i realized i never replied to your reply on ao3, so i guess i'll take the opportunity and do that now? thank you a lot for replying to it with your own thoughts! im very excited to see where the connection linh and marella have to the dragons goes. dragons are great since they can really be anything, too, so i dont even know what you're gonna have them look like! and if they are part-dragon, itd be really interesting if maybe they were different kinds of dragons, since it would make sense for linh to be a rain or river dragon, but marella has her fire and all. either way, im super stoked for the future of the wings au! thank you tons for writing it :']

welcome back, pyro!! also oh damn that's a lot of words--also several of my posts on here are longer than essays I turn in. Just the other day I wrote an answer that was 1200 words...and my paper due this sunday for my contemporary social problems class is supposed to be between 600 and 900 (haven't started it yet but i'll be fine).

I think you're talking about the post that starts "So. Chapter 11. I have many thoughts." But if it's a different one that's also fine! also you're welcome, I think! Anything I've done to help you write and be creative is super cool!! i'm always a little shocked when I see people creating things based on stuff I've done--fanart and asks and things like that in general! just people thinking! I was just scrolling through my blog and saw a few art pieces from you about the wings au and I just sat there for a moment like oh fuck ve made a thing for my thing. So cool!

I am also thinking about chapter 11 tbh (I think you sent this before chapter 12 was posted so you're probably thinking more about chapter 12 now but still!!) Also I'm so glad you're confused about where this is going--I get so worried that my twists are gonna be predictable and bland so it's always nice to hear that there are some surprises along the way! But even if you do guess things that's also excellent! because it means what I wrote made sense and is believable! there can be a certain amount of satisfaction in guessing, but it's also so much fun to be surprised. Hopefully the au is full of several more surprises for you because I am not done yet! I have so many plans and ideas and I want to share them all.

oh also this reminded me I never responded to your comment on chapter 12 on ao3. oopsie. that's what I get for having such a busy schedule I guess! but!! I think things will kinda calm down in the new few days and then I can get back to writing and answering asks more. Had several things disrupt me and make life very chaotic, hence less frequent posts recently--still trying to recover from that! so I will reply to that comment soon, I promise! also all your thoughts and speculations about dragons are so cool!! that's actually something that's coming up very soon in the au so I can't talk about it a lot without spoiling! but if you couldn't tell from Marella sneaking out, there's gonna be a little more focus on her for a little bit. the dragons have actually gotten more complex in my head as the au has gone on. they're were accidental, so I didn't think to much about what they'd look like or their purpose aside form the immediate shock factor, but now...I have several thoughts about them!! and Linh's connection...was also an accident but I'm so pleased with it. Do we know exactly what that connection is? nope! but it's not the same as Marella's and it's gonna be really fun to explore what is happening to the two of them!

also if you do reread the chapters...good luck? there's so many words I wish you luck. according to google the average reader would take five hours to read that, but that's at 200-250 wpm, and I don't know your reading speed! honestly I should probably reread the au for inspiration for future chapters...we can reread it together!!

You don't have to apologize for that. I think it's amazing when people can even communicate in another language than their native one and be understood, so honestly you're incredible and no one should look down on you because of that.

I haven't been posting much, I guess, because I'm tired. I have difficulty talking about myself so I have a habit of not saying anything especially during difficult times, but well, I've been wondering lately if I should say a little something about it.

Truthfully, I have a chronic illness and live with depression so I already have a short energy supply and it gets worse during winter. I'm also going through some physical therapy right now due to other unrelated issues and I don't make enough money right now to feel secure enough in my livelihood to be working on fun things like fic or fanart. Honestly, I'd love to sit back and mess around with some fun stuff to share with people, but I'm way too frazzled right now to do anything but the bare minimum. I'm, ha ha, kinda stressed.

I'm always extremely happy to get messages from people who enjoy my work and I want to keep sharing my stuff with others, but I just haven't had much to share lately. In any case, thanks for your concern. Hopefully, I'll recover soon and can start posting more consistently again, but for now, I'm just really tired.

I don't want this post to feel like a downer, so I'll ask a question: what's something fun you've done lately/are looking forward to?

Just an update y’all

Hey guys, how are you all enjoying the fan translations so far? Thank you for following this blog, even though the uploads aren’t exactly uploaded at the speed of light. I did warn you all that I’m not a super-expert on Nihongo, but I am doing my best to learn and stuff.

some short rant after the cut but other than that, thank you for noticing this blog. Hopefully I could upload chapter 6 before the weekend, I did a speed-run of the whole volume with roughly 60-70% comprehension and SPOILER ALERT I have to say, volume 6 is a pivotal volume, after I upload the last chapter, which is chapter 10, you’ll see why. OK that’s it thank you all, no need to click the “keep reading” because it’s just something that I need to get out of my chest thank you

uhm.. so I did mention sometime ago in my oldest posts that I am scared shitless of the possibility of my translations getting stolen and getting uploaded somewhere else. OK, so yeah I am still scared of that happening but at the same time I am standing my ground on whatever the heck I uploaded here so far... I am just a bit concerned with many people discovering this blog, following and liking and stuff, and seeing that these accounts have nothing on their blogs just gets to me, as if they just made their account to get updates from this blog. OK, OK, that may sound like I’m paranoid but again, maybe they just did that because like everyone else into this fandom, they also wanted to know what happened after volumes 1-5 or seasons 1-2 in the anime. But I am still scared that these accounts may uhm, you know what I mean. but again, i maybe just scared and paranoid because I have been in the internet for so long a time, and some of the stuff I did in the past got uhm, hijacked elsewhere, to put it lightly. those are mostly fanart but still, I am irked because wth I did those with my own skills and what, not even acknowledgement of who did it, like smh wtfh, which is why at some point I stopped making drawings. But I am starting to warm up again to the idea, so it’s possible that at some point I’ll get even slower in making these translations to review how to draw, among other things.

so bottomline is...

I hope that the empty blogs that followed and discovered this blog...

I am giving you all the benefit of the doubt that you’re just here to read and enjoy my translated stuff. If you plan to translate my translated stuff into another language, I won’t be stingy, you can do just that, but just contact me first so I won’t get shocked and shit. that’s probably gonna make me stop doing these things OK? I hope you all understand. If you don’t I suggest that you just get hold of the raw originals and just do the translations using your own skills, just so you could understand what I mean. Yeah, sure, these aren’t official translations but like fanart, fanfics, fansubs, etc. these took time and efforts too, mostly unpaid and just fueled by the passion of whoever did it. The least or the most anybody can do is just spread the love, free of charge, and give credit to whoever the heck did the thing. Or maybe say thanks for translating or subbing or drawing and stuff. Appreciation and gratitude goes a long way.

That is all. I am hoping that nobody reads this but if by any means you reader-sans read this, I mean no ill-will but I am just setting my boundaries here, OK? Besides, if your conscience is clear, and if you’re also a content creator elsewhere, you might at least get what I mean, and feel for my concerns too.
