WET | jake sully x reader [mini series pt. 1]
Tumblr media
“Again.”
You grunt, arms tired and soar, and you feel like crying. Sometimes— no, all the time, you wished that anyone else was your teacher instead of Jake. Who cares if he was once a human as well? He hasn't been one in years and if you were honest, he's more harsher than the actual natives. You've heard that when he was a younger na'vi, he was a bit of a troublemaker. Which is why you're so confused as to why he always has a stick up his fucking ass with you.
Some of your braids fall in front of your face as you look down, shoulders sinking, "But—"
"No buts," Jake sterns, gripping at your forearm and shoving it upwards to which you whine at, "arms up."
With a whimper, you stretch out the bow, back twinging in pain as the dips of your fingers sting. Jake moves, eyeing you from a different angle before gliding behind you. He surprises you when he wraps his hands around your waist, pulling you flush against him as you yelp out. His grip is hard.
"Your back needs to be straight like this." He teaches, demonstrating your now straightened back that is pushed up against his torso. "Not hunched over like this," he pushes your shoulder forward, setting your back into the position you were before.
The thing was, Jake had a very physical type of communication. Something that annoyed you and gave you a shameful amount of pleasure at the same time.
"Otherwise, the strength in your pullback is weakened." He steps back with a click of his tongue, "thought you already learned that, girl."
That nickname again. God, you didn't know why, but it did something to you. Made something swirl hot in the pit of your stomach. Just the deep husk of his voice brewing out the word—
You blink, a quick shake of your head and a flick of your tail and you can feel his gaze burn into your head.
"What is it?"
You turn to him, analysing the look on his face and it's something that you can't put your finger on. You hope it isn't disappointment. You clear your throat, "what is what?"
His eyebrows crease together into a frown before they raise against his forehead. "You're unfocused. Distracted. Like you've got something on your mind."
"I don't," you say, scratching an itchy place on your arm as you try your best to keep your face plain.
"You do. Spit it out," he demands, folding his arms and you can't help but let your eyes flicker to the thick bulge of them. He catches the motion. His eyebrows raise again, but this time it's for a different reason. He circles you again, but this time, it's for a different reason. "You look flustered," he comments, and you swear you see the slightest hint of a grin on his lips.
"I'm not," you rush, eyes widened and heart picking up a hundred times pace.
Jake stops behind you again, tilting his head as you eye him from the side. The warmth of his breath fans against your neck. "You are." He whispers, his tone low and it sends goosebumps through your body. "What? You need a release?"
He says it so casually that it makes you almost choke on your own spit.
"I don't understand, sir." You feel heat rise to your cheeks, head spinning as you try and contemplate what he had just said.
"Not that much to understand. A release is a release." He shrugs, "Not that hard to give it to you. Just gotta tell me if you want it."
Your body is hot. Like, really hot. You feel like you'll explode in any second, and you're not sure if it's in a good or a bad way. You finally meekly turn your head around to see him staring down at you, his eyes relaxed with his jaw set loose. It's intimidating. He really thinks this is normal. You let your eyes slip, flicking to the sweet curve of his lips and that's when he knows.
He pushes you to the closest tree with his hand gripped at your upper arm, and it’s like you’re entranced to just let him do it. Your back hits the tree, its rough bark spiking your skin. You feel the urge to sink your head down into its trunk when Jake leans over, scooping his fingers under your hair and cupping your neck. He pulls you up, sealing his lips to yours and you’re almost rising on your toes from his grip. His other hand glides to support the side of your thigh, fingers rough as they dig into the plush of your skin and never relax. His lips are smooth, melting against yours when he slips his tongue into your mouth. It’s the opposite of chaste as he molds you with the skilful flick of his tongue, holding the back of your head with a heavy hand and beginning to rub gentle circles with his fingers on your thigh.
It’s enough to have the hot swirl spend in your stomach, enough to have you panting and wanting more. Your hands finally pick up enough courage to place them on his shoulders, not without the jitter of your fingers and you can feel a quiet scoff come from him. Dickhead. He probably thinks this is some kind of game, that you’re just a little piece of entertainment for him to end the day. Your thoughts crumble when he suddenly pushes your thigh up, jutting you against him as he wraps your leg around his waist.
His hand finds your lower stomach, resting there for a moment as his fingers curl against your small pouch. Then, his hand slips down, catches onto the mangy material of your loincloth, and he finally breaks your mouth from his. A string of saliva thins and sticks to the bottom of your lip, your chest rising quickly and your breath uneven.
He wipes it for you with the flat of his thumb, then dips it into his own mouth. You bite the inside of your cheek, feeling the heat between your thighs begin to moisture. With his eyes still on you, his fingers dive, picking up the front of your loincloth and flipping it to sit at your thigh. Your connected gaze breaks when his eyes flicker to your lower body, a glimpse of his eyes twitching wide for a second and you feel a wave of embarrassment creep over you.
“Fuck, isn’t that a pretty little sight.” He mutters, then looking at your loin cloth, then back up to you. “Take it off.”
You lay there for a second, heart racing and cheeks warm. He snaps you into action when his head tilts, an action you’ve come to learn as ‘did you not just hear what I said or do I have to make you hear it?’
Finally, the loincloth falls loose, sliding down your hips and onto the ground. Immediately, his thumb is on your clit, circling the bud teasingly and painfully slow. His other hand holds your hip, keeping you comfy in between the tree and himself. He watches you with curious eyes, catching the way your breath hitches and the way your lips fall split.
Two fingers lather down your split, feathering at your folds and experimentally teasing around your entrance. “You always get this wet?” He breathily asks, and you can’t tell if the question is out of proper impressment or just plain teasing. When he doesn’t see you answering, his fingers at your jaw, a lean in with his head. His lips are a centimetre away from yours as he frowns, “I asked you a question.”
You gulp, and a whine breaks from your throat when he presses down onto your clit. “I don’t know…”
He pinches your clit. You jump in his grasp. “Fi—Fine! No.”
He gives a slow kiss to the dip of your neck, flicking at your clit lazily and it makes your thighs fucking tremble. His middle and ring fingers ghost over your pulsing entrance, and you wonder why this man is such a tease. “Tell me you want it,” he mumbles.
His teeth sneak past his lips to nip at your skin, pulling on it gently with his tongue sponging out as well. You knew a hickey was on its way.
“Come on, I want to hear it.” Jake encourages, a hard roll to your clit that has your eyes rolling back with it. He bites down into your neck, a gasp flying from you when you feel his fangs dig into your skin. “Don’t make me force it outta ya,” he warns, the dark edge to his voice dampening his fingers with your running slick.
“Yes, I… I want it,” you whisper. The girth of his two middle fingers slip into your cunt smooth and you can’t help but groan. You stretch out and around him, and a small smile twitches across Jake’s face.
He whistles low and quiet, Look at the way you suck me in,” he almost says to himself, eyeing the way his blue fingers dissolve into you. He starts moving them in and out gently, to which you gasp loud at. A quiet, taunting laugh is heard from above you. “That’s right.”
His fingers are long and thick, and you can feel the many callouses imprinted on them as they drag along your walls. The moment of gentle is gone when Jake picks up the pace, digging his thumb into your clit. Your back arches, hands digging into his shoulders before falling to the muscle of his arms.
The speed becomes into a ferocious one. It’s rough and unforgiving, like he’s trying to reach deep inside of you and pull something out. The hand on your hip shifts, to speed past your top and press down hard onto your right boob. He squeezes it, rolling the nipple in between the gap of his two fingers. Your breathing gets stuck inside your throat as you choke out a whimper. “Jake—“
“Quit whining.” Jake snaps, then a quick pinch to your nipple. “Take it.”
His fingers curl inside of you, make your body jolt and a hot lick of fire whip through your belly. His palm replaces his thumb on your clit, the length of his fingers jammed full into your cunt as the tough layer of skin of his palm rubs against it. Your hips jerk against him, the grip on his arms tight like if you let go, you'll die.
You let out a tiny moan, and Jake grips at your jaw again, his finger playing at the bottom of your lip before pulling it open, having your mouth in an O shape. "Don't hold back on those noises now, girl."
The band in your stomach tightens, a hard pull to your body and your head slumps against the tree. You can feel its tiny flecks of wood dig into your scalp, but you don't care because all you can focus on is Jake's fingers, moving in and out of you in such a pace, you could catch fire. Now you understand what he's trying to pull out of you, and it's not in a nice way. The release. Like once he gets his hands on it, he'll rip it out.
And he does. You feel your vision fall blurry when your orgasm, the release, crashes through you, rocking your body hard. You cry out, voice cracking into pieces. His fingers keep working up into you, helping you through your high as you regain sensibility. Everything is silent, except for your ragged breathing. You finally blink up at him. He blinks down at you. He pulls his fingers leisurely out of you, the cool of the night's air hitting your bare cunt. He looks down at his soaked fingers before dipping them into his mouth, tongue flatting against them and sucking them clean. You can't read his face.
He puts you back down onto the ground, your knees wobbly and you'd fall over if it weren't for the tree pressed up against your back at the moment. Jake's eyebrows raise slightly.
"Better?" He asks, and before you can respond he's walking away, the leaves underneath his feet making a crushing noise. You're left with only your timid breath, as your loincloth lays messy around your toes.
here’s part two bc yall were THIRSTY. ur welcome alien fuckers💙

concept, cause the dynamics at play would be super interesting:
when Tuk and Neytiri are sucked into the hold of the Seadragon, what if Spider, unwilling to watch another one of this baby siblings, nor his siblings mother (despite everything cause he's a good kid), die without doing anything, jumps in after them?
they're now stuck in a flooding ship, spider knows his way around to a decent extent, they're all tired, they're all scared, they're all hurting. they have to depend on each other for survival.
Neytiri has to not only trust Spider, but has to follow his lead, has to trust him to guide her around a demon ship, has to untrust not only her own life, but the life of her youngest child to this boy.
Maybe they're separated, they have to find one another (my personal favorite scenario is that Tuk and Spider are together and he has to try and find her/guide Neytiri to him)
Spider taking Neytiri and Tuk's arms so they aren't separated by stray currents and raging waters (a parallel to "Sully's stick together"). Spider talking them through the breath holds he learned as a kid in case his mask malfunctioned before bringing them through the depths of the submerged ship (parallel to Jake and Lo'ak)
anyway. I just can't stop thinking about it. think about it.
Neytiri is faced with the fact that Spider jumped in after her and Tuk. he came for them, he put himself in danger to save them, to save her daughter. even after what she did to him. even after she held a knife to him, after she cut him, after she intended to kill him even after Kiri was released. he still jumped to her aid, even if he could have stayed with Kiri above deck where he was safe, he could have just aided Tuk and left her behind, but he didn't.
and there's so many ways to play with it and the aftermath. like.
Spider dragging both Tuk and Neytiri up the surface, trying his best to keep the trio afloat (namely Neytiri who was much less adjusted to the water and is exhausted by the night they've had) as they hope and pray to be reunited with the rest of their family.
maybe the stress gets to them and Spider just starts apologizing. I should have fought them harder. I shouldn't have let Lo'ak and Neteyam try and leave with me, I would have been fine. I should have seen it coming, should have taken it myself. it should have been me. my baby brother shouldn't be dead.
maybe he becomes partly delirious as he too gives into exhaustion, the big brother in him being the only part of him left coherent, so he takes Tuk close, whispering prrnen tsmuke [baby sister] over and over into her braids, assuring himself that she's safe and unharmed. he keeps praying to the Great Mother for his siblings to return to him unharmed. maybe he keeps asking where they are, if they're safe as his awareness fades and his memory weakens. all of his siblings. asking if Neteyam is ok, only to remember he's gone the second the words leave his tongue.
Jake and Lo'ak finding them when they come up with Payakan, both worse for wear, exhausted, clinging to one another, the only thing keeping their heads above water being spiders life vest, Tuk cradled between them. what a sight.
Neytiri watching as Spider looks over each of his siblings, taking them close, holding onto them as if they will be ripped away from him. the realization that he would die before he let that happen again hitting her like a ton of bricks the second she sees the look in his eyes.
a peace being made between the two in the wake of this event. spider silently claiming the role of big brother (he always was, but he had to pretend he wasn't. with Neteyam gone, he can't pretend he's not anymore), Neytiri silently agreeing.
idk man. it would be interesting.

Title: oh look a mate (s)
Pairing: demon brother's x reader
Chapter 2
Fandom: obey me
Warnings: male reader, omegaverse, nsfw content, angst, fluff, self hatred, reader has a lot of trauma, shitty family, toxic family, mentions of murder, attempted assassination mentioned
🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️
He remembered his first nest.
And how quickly his sister destroyed it.
His parents mocking him, his sister making him feel awful for having something like that.
This was what he thought of when he thought of inviting his family, that was the first memory he had.
He was eight at that time.
Staring at the paper, did he want to invite them?
"No, I don't think we're going to do that" he whispered to himself as he looked at the barely started letter, everytime he tried writing it another memory came back.
For once, he wanted something happy that they wouldn't intrude on.
This was for him.
Lucifer noticed something, something deeply concerning that he hadn't thought about till looking at (name) getting fitted for his wedding attire, he had no collar. His neck and scent glands exposed and no one caught this, how did they not notice this?! Lucifer looked at the ornate and beautiful collar he had commissioned, an expensive leather with their soulmate mark on a silver charm.
Simple but beautiful.
(Name) Was in his greenhouse again as Belphegor slept in the corner, (name) liked to think this was their hang out time because he would always appear when he was in here, it was nice.
(Name) Spoke about the things he was doing to the sleeping demon, a one sided conversation but (name) still enjoyed it as his happy pharamones filled the room "I'm growing tulips here, I think they would be lovely... I always loved them, they were my grandmothers favorites before she passed" he explained happily as he stretched "I think im done for the day" walking towards the demon he smiled "sorry but I'm going to need this, it's quite chilly today" he said as he went to take his cape but Belphegor had other ideas, pulling (name) in his embrace "this is very sweet but I think sleeping on a greenhouse ledge would hurt our backs"(name) said softly to the other who cracked an eye open and grunted "would you be willing to stay away a bit to go somewhere more comfortable?" He asked the Alpha who grunted "and where do you have in mind?"
Belphegor was a bit surprised when (name) had him teleport to (name)s space, the Omega leading him to his nest and gently pushing him in "much nicer!" He said simply as Belphegor let the other sit beside him as the demon pulled him close, already sleepy "you're a sleep demon right?" (Name) Asked curiously and Belphegor grunted "sloth avatar" his voice low and rumbly as (name) nodded "that must be tough"
"Not really... Now stop talking and sleep" he ordered the Omega who just let him hold him like a teddy bear.
The two slept for a few hours, the others looking for (name) everywhere before finding him in the nest "no fair, why does he get to go in the nest!" Beelzebub whined as (name) looked so peaceful "we'll get to go in it eventually" it was nice to see (name) let his guard down, he was sweet yes but always nervous...
"Let's let them sleep, his heats soon so it's best to let him conserve energy" Lucifer instructed as they begrudgingly left "I worry for his heat though " Asmodeus commented as they left the apartment and the others looked confused "he knows basically nothing... He's reading books to figure it out because he's worried he won't be good, I don't even think he's masturbated before" how could he? Suppressants basically knocked the libido out of you and not to mention his upbringing "a heat is scared, between an Omega and their body for the first few years and he was robbed of it" Satan said softly and they sighed, he couldn't have this heat by himself as their were traditions but they didn't want him going into his first heat after being in suppressants for years without knowing anything about sex.
"Maybe ask him if he wants to fuck?" Mammon said simply and Asmodeus glared at him "as much as I want that, we have to be delicate with him! Teach him how to pleasure himself!"
"Then let's to that then!" The white haired Alpha argued back and Lucifer and Satan just sighed and Levi wanted to just not be in this conversation anymore, embarrassed as hell.
(Name) Woke later on, The sun setting as Beelzebub walked in "have a good nap, sleepy?" He teased and (name) rubbed his eyes "how long did I sleep?" He whispered and Beelzebub chuckled "five hours"
"You guys let me sleep that long?!" He worried and the Alpha smiled "you were too cute to wake, now come on! It's dinner!" He seemed excited and (name) looked at Belphegor "don't worry about him, he usually gets leftovers later" Beelzebub lifted (name) as the Omega yelped "wait! I'm heavy!" He panicked and Beelzebub laughed "like holding a couple of grapes, don't worry I'm strong" he teased as they walked down the halls, the gluttony demon feeling how soft his mate was, face right near his chest... Nope don't get an erection right now! 'think of awful things!' he thought as he thought of the worst things imaginable, wasting food and uuuh Solomon shirtless!
'Bleh'
"There's the sleepy bunny~" Asmodeus teased, (name) looking a little disheveled as sleep still had him in a bit of a hold "sorry I slept so long..." He whispered and Mammon snorted "you were napping with Belph, he has that affect" the Omega nodded as Mammon put food on his plate, a bit extra as the Alpha felt the urge to make sure (name) was cared for.
They spoke of weddings and such as (name) enjoyed his meal, little chirps occasionally leaving his lips at the foods be particularly enjoyed as the demons watched happily "maybe when your garden is ready for harvest we can use them~" Lucifer on (name)s other side gently fixed the others shirt, a typical alpha grooming of his mate as he began (fixing/cleaning) his (hair/face) "how you manage to get dirty"
After dinner, (name) was curious as Lucifer halted him with Asmodeus standing beside him "could we talk to you? Just for a moment?" Lucifer asked the Omega who looked curious but nodded, letting Asmodeus take his hand as they went to Lucifer's office "we hope this isn't too forward darling but we wanted to ask..." Lucifer seemed to struggle on what to say exactly as Asmodeus stepped in "we want your first time to be memorable, not in the throws of heat where you may not remember and maybe understand your body more" Asmodeus said to the other who was now seated in a plush chair as Asmodeus crouched infront of him "you deserve to have your first time be on your terms and learn what you like, we don't have to have sex but would you be open to it?"
"I-I... Isn't mating for the alphas?" He was supposed to give alphas pleasure! He was an Omega!
"Oh darling no, Sex is supposed to be good for both parties, you and your comfort matter just as much as ours"
"You wouldn't see me as shameful for wanting that?" (Name)s voice barely above a whisper and the two got closer "darling im the avatar of lust, nothing you do would be shameful to me and Luci here just wants you to feel pride in yourself and your body" he explained and (name) felt his cheeks get wet with tears "promise?"
"Of course"
They set up for two days from now, Asmodeus would teach (name) about his body... Intimately.
And (name) was nervous but a heat pooled in his stomach he wasn't familiar with, ever since he stopped supressants his body had felt like shocks went through it whenever his alphas touched him, his omega quiet after so long begging him to do whorish things...
Oh god, he's been here a few weeks and he's already like this!
He wouldn't admit it but he liked how freeing it was, his mates never judging him....
They actively tried spending time with him, having him join their activities and lives.
He remembered when Lucifer tried teaching him how to ride a horse, the black haired demon sitting behind him on the stallion and guiding him gently, it was absolutely wonderful!
He wanted to treasure that memory forever...
Belphegor was still in the nest when (name) returned and changed into his sleep clothes getting comfortable and passing out as the sleep demon held him in a vice grip, possession absolutely noticable with the hold as (name) was soothed by how warm and cozy it felt.
(Sisters name) Was hysterical when the royal wedding was announced, a grand event that had the entire kingdom in a flurry of celebration as their town marketed that they were the town that had the Omega.
So she did what was logical.
Get rid of the problem in her life.
(Name) Wouldn't see what hit him.
"So, where do you feel most comfortable? This is about you" Asmodeus asked the Omega who fiddled with his hands and looked at his nest and his bed "would it... Be messy?"
"Only if we're doing it right~" he teased and kissed (name)s forehead "remember, this is what YOU want" he reminded (name) who looked at his bed and then his nest "nest?" He asked softly and Asmodeus smiled "of course, do I have permission to enter your pretty nest?" He asked as (name) got comfortable in it and the smile on (name)s face said a lot as he nodded, Asmodeus moving them so (name) was in his lap "remember what I taught you about safe words?" He asked the Omega who nodded "tell alpha" he commanded gently and smelt the small amount of slick that escaped the omegas body "green means good... Yellow means that I'm not sure and slow down and read is stop" he said confidently as Asmodeus kissed his neck lovingly "such a good boy" he whispered into his ear and smiled when (name) subconsciously bucked his hips, he knew this cutie had a praise kink.
After all, he always wanted to be good for him.
"Now, I'm going to remove your clothes, remember what to do if it gets uncomfortable" he said as he used his magic to make (name)s clothes vanish, the other covering himself shyly "none of that, let me see you" Asmodeus said sweetly as he watched (name) uncover himself and god, was his omega so pretty...
"Now, the first rule of sex is getting comfortable with your own body" Asmodeus explained as he took (name)s hands and moved them across the omegas own body "know what feels good" he pinched (name)s cute nipple before moving their hands lower "and to know what feels /great/" the demon wrapped their hands around (name)s cute Omegan cock that was already erect and gave it a tug, watching (name) throw his head back at the sensation "o-oh!" He was confused and awe struck by the sensation, this was way better than the pillow humping he had been pitifully been doing lately. "This is your pretty cock, stroke it, play with its head... It's yours to use whenever you want~" Asmodeus explained and (name) let out a shaky breath as they stroked his cock, legs spread across Asmodeus' own "and if we go lower, we have your ass" he whispered to (name) and smiled at how fucked out (name) looked already and they barely started "you gotta prep yourself real nice, slowly work your way in..."
(Name) Whined out as Asmodeus chuckled "none of that, pretty boy" he whispered as he pulled (name) into a sweet kiss, slipping his tongue in shortly after as he helped (name) loosen up with both of their fingers though Asmodeus was just guiding. "When you feel it's loose enough, slowly push in... Don't worry the slick will help you" he pulled away to continue his lesson with his omega who was already drooling and unfocused as Asmodeus gently helped him push in "all the way to the knuckle...~"
Asmodeus helped (name) fuck himself in one finger before slowly introducing a second finger, (name) could feel his erection on his back and rutted into it as his hips shook, his fingers felt good but not good enough... "It's not..." He couldn't figure out how to say it as Asmodeus kissed his scent gland "it's not what darling?" "M-more!" He cried out, fully lost in it as he pushed his hips up subconsciously.
"Do you want alpha to take care of you? Show you something great?" Asmodeus asked the other who wnined "what color are you baby?"
"Green!"
"Good boy"
Asmodeus removed (name)s fingers before replacing them with his larger ones, down to the knuckle before his other hand moved to the omegas cock "hey baby.. look at me" (name) complied as Asmodeus began thrusting against his prostate and jerking him off "shiaaa!" He could barely keep himself from cumming as he let out a loud cry, cum getting everywhere "and that pleasure button was your prostate... Use that whenever your heart desires ~ rub it and press it~" he said softly as (name) barely could stay awake "you wanna continue baby? Tell alpha"
"Gu-reen" he barely could sputter out and Asmodeus chuckled "you're too precious~ let's wash you up and feed you" he lifted (name) with ease and took him to the ensuite washroom "you did do good, you were so pretty~" he praised the Omega who was putty in his hold, (name) definitely bad a lot of time to make up for with how repressed the poor thing was sexually...
The other brothers stroked themselves vigorously as they heard the sounds of (name) being pleasured and inevitable climax that had the Omega screaming.
"He's fast asleep, poor thing wanted more but could barely stay awake" Asmodeus said fondly as the others gathered in the parlor "hes definitely eager, loves to be a good boy ~" the smell of a pleasured Omega was strong, the smell of (pharamones smell) stronger and sweeter "before I put him to bed, he asked if you guys could join next time ~ such a sweet little thing"
He definitely was going to be a good dam to their respective pups.
The other alphas were definitely interested in joining next time.
With the news of the wedding approaching, the men were taking even more precautions and safety measures for the Omega, already having three poisoning attempts and an assassin that they apprehended while (name) was sleeping.
Switching their cutlery to silver from gold and both the food tester and Beelzebub to test (name)s food, the demon immune thankfully as the rest.
At most he would just have a stomach ache for an hour.
It was intense, the men constantly worrying for him as he went about his day with more guards much to his confusion as the days ticked closer, the grand wedding hall being decorated along with the rest of the palace as guests from around the world began arriving as he took a walk through the gardens, the demons having (name)s favorite flowers planted as he was the one who frequented the area the most.
currently he was trying to find Lucifer, the demon wanting to have tea with him but (name) was a bit directionally challenged as he eventually spotted horns and black hair "you're late" Lucifer remarked without any bite as he stood for the Omega, checking him over "I have something for you" the demon didn't waste time as he pulled out the collar "it's not safe to be unprotected like this" his words simple as (name) looked at the collar.
His family never let him have one, a form of control he supposed and he couldn't stop the tears from rolling down his cheeks as the demon looked worried "do you not like it?" His voice laced with light panic and (name) shook his head "i-i never had one??" His voice confused but soon Lucifer clicked the situation together and smiled "I will never let you go without, my love" he gently put the collar on (name), the Omega dressing in more lace and delicate clothes these days as Asmodeus had a fixation on shopping for him, it went together quite well "beautiful..."
"You think?" (Name) Asked nervously and Lucifer leaned down and kissed him "we'll get you countless collars in any color you want" he said honestly before leading (name) to the garden table with treats and tea set up "now, shall we eat?"
(Name) Was curious as he was handed a letter from his family, his father's seal in wax staring back at him.He didn't know what to do, this would be the first time in over a month that he would be hearing from his family.
He didn't know what to expect.
"Are you alright, Darling?" That was also a few development with the demons, pet names.
And Satan surprisingly besides Asmodeus was very heavy with them.
"I... I received a letter from my family" Satan was immediately suspicious of this letter as he walked to his omega "do you trust me?" He asked the Omega who nodded obediently "of course" he chirped "could I see this letter? To soothe my nerves" (name) knew of the things that have been happening and nodded, handing him the letter without a second thought and the blond gently kissed him "thank you, my dear"
He had the two poison testers open the letter in a glass room, something their grandfather made when people began putting poisonous powder in letters, it wasn't poisoned thankfully.
That would make for an angry Satan :).
But the contents of the letter?
Oh.
Ohohoho.
That made for him to get so upset he transformed a little more demonic from rage.
'(name),
We have been informed by our neighbors about your wedding, a surprise to us all as you haven't even sent your family an invitation seeing as you stole your sisters moment and flaunted it infront of her.
We are thoroughly disappointed and appalled at your attitude and would expect you to invite your sister as she deserves to see the life you stole from her even just once.
We are expecting an invite promptly.
(Mother's name) And (father's name), (lastname)'
The audacity.
The sheer audacity of these people, how did (name) manage to be related to these insects of people?! "definitely not letting Belphegor read this" or maybe he should... No (name) would be upset.
"Maybe we should invite them... One last look at someone they took for granted" and before they kept (name) away forever.
Give him everything and more.
God he couldn't wait to give that cute Omega who was currently petting one of the off duty p

That night was too cold for your taste, if you had known you were going to sleep in your secret place you would have brought a blanket. But the warm body heat that neteyam's body gave off was very warm, you had snuggled more on his chest, feeling how his arms wrapped around you completely. You had gotten up as soon as the sun started to rise, but you decided to stay still and enjoy this moment. Feeling neteyam's calm breathing, and breathing in his scent. This man had such an addictive natural scent, you could only think how addictive it had to be for the female na'vi. If you were a human you could smell him, you didn't want to know what the female na'vi who had a sharper sense of smell smelled like. Sometimes you didn't understand what neteyam saw in you…just sometimes you didn't understand.
You feel his arms tighten, and he starts yawning. "Baby…" says neteyam sleepily, looking down to see you curled up on his chest. "Good morning…did you rest well?" you can see neteyam laugh out loud, of course not. The airplane chair wasn't comfortable, but you knew he wasn't going to say he slept uncomfortably. He preferred this more than anything. "Well…I'd prefer to sleep on top of a rock," Neteyam speaks, listening as you now laugh. Lifting you off his chest, lowering you to the ground to stretch, behind you was a sore neteyam. You are thankful that he had endured a whole night of discomfort for you. You move behind him, and since he was sitting it was much easier for you to stroke his back, and begin to massage him. "You are so tense teyam" you reach over and give him a quick kiss on his skin. You can hear him humming, and relaxing into your touch.
You didn't want this moment to end, but it was getting late. You were supposed to be in your respective homes, you were practically on the run. "And what are you going to tell your mom?" you ask, pausing to wait for an answer from neteyam. He looks at you, and lifts his shoulders. "And you?" neteyam asks you. "I don't know… I'll say I was with kiri" you watch as a smile tugs at neteyam's lips. Kiri didn't know anything about your relationship, but she didn't mind being an accomplice in your adventures. She will always be there for you. After getting ready, before leaving the plane, Neteyam gets off the plane. Neteyam comes down to you, giving you a quick kiss. "I want to see you later? Yes?" says Neteyam between kisses, you push him away a little. "Go away…otherwise they will kill you" you were all giggles, while he continued to kiss you all over your face. You ended up pushing him away seeing how he was running away, it was getting a little late. He was supposed to come home and lay in the hammock and make it late at night. But it was already too late for that. On the other hand, you turn everything off…pick up everything you had to take with you and start walking to the lab.
On the other hand… neytiri practically didn't sleep all night, she realized that her son never arrived. Sure, neteyam was a man now…and he had his own life. But she wanted to know who he was with, he liked leeka?. She had barely spoken to him…plus she suspected something was going on. Neteyam was not one to do this, he was a well-behaved boy. The whole family was up, and they were eating together. Noticing Neteyam arrive, he looked a little agitated as if he were running. Stopping for a moment at the entrance, watching as his family looked at him curiously. "Good…morning" neteyam says, coming over to sit next to his brother. Carefully taking his portion of breakfast, he dared not speak, as he felt his mother's piercing gaze. "Good morning son…hey where did you spend the night?" asks jake, but it was not in a tone of authority but one of forming a conversation and breaking the ice. "I was standing guard" says neteyam, chewing his fruit. "Oh… was it calm?" asks jake, looking at his son noting that he was a little nervous, neteyam just nodded his head.
But this didn't convince neytiri, she knew something was up with her son. "Teyam… why did you leave leeka alone last night, that was very rude of you" speaks neytiri. Kiri, tuk and lo'ak look quickly at their brother, as if he was in big trouble. And yes he was… because he didn't really have a clear answer to tell his mother. He just didn't like leeka, and he had no business talking to her if he wasn't interested. "Ahh I had to leave, because I remembered I had guard duty" says neteyam, swallowing hard, hoping neytiri won't pursue the subject. "mmm and what do you think of that girl?" asks neytiri. "Ahh she's…fine" says neteyam. Feeling his brother push him a little "'fine? Are you kidding?" lo'ak almost gives him a fit, leeka was the most counted na'vi of the clan.
And he was rejecting her. "you should get to know her better" says neytiri, jake was getting tired of this conversation, it was very clear that neteyam didn't want to talk about this topic. "Ok… it's too early for these topics, why don't we just eat and spend this time as a family" says jake, giving neytiri a look. She just rolled her eyes, she knew that jake didn't really care who her son was hanging out with. After he was safe was more than enough for him.
But for neytiri, this was a cultural thing…something that had been passed down from generation to generation. She didn't want neteyam to make a mistake. After breakfast, all the family members began to divide into their daily chores. Neteyam was about to leave, just when neytiri called out to him. "Neteyam?" neytiri approaches her son, it was just the two of them so it was the perfect time to talk to him. "Honey… I don't want to burden you with this stuff. But the mating season is coming up and I just want to…" neytiri speaks, watching as her son begins to shift uncomfortably. Neytiri did not understand the disdain her son had on this subject. "Mama I have a lot of things to do" neteyam says, taking up his weapons. "Neteyam I wish you would choose a mate who will give you the position that belongs to you…just that" says neytiri, watching as neteyam only answers her with a 'hmmm' and walks out of the hut. Leaving a more worried neytiri. Besides knowing that her son was lying, she could detest a different scent…a scent that was attached to her son's skin. It was feminine…but which one was the na'vi girl? Who? She had to act fast, she had to have a second plan.
In the lab… You had arrived a little late, you had gone back to the plane to look for other things. And you stopped on the way when you met mo'at. She told you to stop by her hut, she wanted to show you some things. Mo'at understood that there was something wrong with you, and that you were in a hurry. But she didn't want to ask too much, eventually you were going to tell her what was wrong. You had always been like that… saying goodbye to her. To run to the lab, finding it empty. "uhhh I'm safe!!!" you cheer a little, you didn't have to lighten up with awkward questions. But you weren't expecting your favorite intruder. "Safe from what or who?" asks spider, making you jump a little. He had been sitting in the back all this time. " Nothing…just ahhhh where's norm?" you ask, watching as spider chuckles a little. He knew you had done something. You and spider had grown up together, you were practically like brothers, so he already knew when you were lying. "He's sleeping…but the real question here is…where did you sleep last night?" asks spider, approaching you. You nudge him, sometimes it could be very annoying. "I was with kiri" you speak, turning away from him and starting on your way to your room. You didn't really have much to do there, but it was the best place to escape from spider. Spider laughs, winking at you…he knew you were lying to him. But he didn't care where you had spent the night either, he had his suspicions but he wasn't going to say anything until he was sure. "Well… that 'kiri' smells a lot like ….neteyam" says spider, seeing you stop in your tracks. And you turn quickly signaling for silence. "Shut your mouth…you idiot!!!" you whine, ignoring him. Listening as spider laughs out loud.
Spider didn't know anything, or so you thought. Maybe he could have been suspicious, but you ignored his comments. And you go on your way, you wanted to get ready to go help mo'at. So you practically run for your materials, and run out of the lab. Running as fast as you could, you knew mo'at didn't like to wait, so you had to be there in seconds. To your bad luck, or out of pure conscience…you were so distracted running that you could barely see who was in front of you. Without realizing, you were about to crash into neytiri and leeka. Hitting your head on leeka's thigh, falling sitting down on the ground. "Hey…watch out!" the girl speaks, looking down. "Sorry" you groan, you'd taken a good punch. Neytiri reaches over, and grabs you by the forearm. Helping you to stand up.
The relationship you and Neytiri had was not great, but you knew she treated you better than spider. You always thought it was because mo'at treated you like a daughter. But you never got close to her, you barely talked to her. You had always related more to her children and jake. "Are you all right?" asks neytiri, helping you to adjust the ornaments that covered your breasts. "Yes…I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry. Mo'at is waiting for me" you speak, thanking her for helping you and running towards Mo'at's hut. Both women look at you as you walk away. "She is…strange. Well, she's a sky person so everything about her is strange" says Leeka, she had a bad look on her face. Neytiri is silent, she didn't want to comment much about you. But she did have some very respective comments about you and your relationship with her family, but she kept them to herself. "Well…as I was saying. I think you should meet neteyam one of these days?" says neytiri. The girl was a little disappointed about the night before, neteyam hadn't talked to her much and then left without saying anything.
"I think he doesn't want to talk to me" says leeka, neytiri laughs a little. But it was a more ironic smile. Touching the girl's shoulder, so that she calms down. "Sure he is… he is a little shy" neytiri says. "I'll try to talk to him…I'll ask him if he wants to go hunting with me or for a walk" says leeka, seeing how neytiri smiled approvingly. Neytiri didn't want to force anything, but she knew what she was doing. She had to support the girl. "He'll love it…I'm sure," Neytiri says. Staying quiet for a moment, she had smelled a familiar scent on you. She wanted to think it was because you were always with neteyam and his children. But this awakened an alarm in her.
You quickly arrive at the mo'at hut, seeing how the woman was already waiting for you. You excuse yourself, and sit down next to her. "Where were you?" mo'at was cutting some herbs, preparing for the demonstration she had prepared for you. "Ahh I was in the lab" you speak, nervously. "Mmm but we ran into each other earlier… so you weren't there" mo'at looks at you for a moment, noticing how your little eyes widen. She had caught you, but she wasn't going to say anything. Mo'at hands you the container she was working on. "Ok, let's get to work" Mo'at speaks, watching you settle more into your space. She had to teach you everything she knew, she had plans for you in the future. You had shown her that you could stay in charge of the medical area of the clan. The people in the clan trusted you, and little by little you were improving every day. Mo'at knew you were doing a good job, you were a very good girl. It had been a while, since morning. You were in a corner eating something, enjoying your free time. While listening to mo'at. "I hope this mating season will be successful…and many couples will come out" says mo'at.
"Yes" you speak, lowering your head. This was something you did not like to talk about. You were aware of your position, neteyam could tell you that he wanted to get away from you and choose a na'vi woman. You knew what happened every week, every week neytiri tried to match his son with different girls. They were so…perfect for him. You couldn't compete with them, you were…just you. And you had a lot of confidence in yourself…but you were aware that you and neteyam were different species. You didn't know what was going to happen. "There's no one you're interested in?" mo'at looks at you curiously. "ahh there are no boys my age here" you laugh nervously. "And spider?" mo'at asks, watching as you fall silent and then start laughing. She joins you… she knows that you and spider are like brothers. But she wanted to make you laugh. "H-hello" speaks neteyam, carefully entering the hut. "Ahh what are you doing here?" asks mo'at, examining his grandson with his eyes. He looked very well.
You get a little nervous, chuckling a little when your gaze meets neteyam's. "I came to see if you would help me…with this cut" neteyam points to his shoulder. "teyam…there's nothing there" mo'at says, watching as his grandson laughs. "Grandma…it's really annoying, I cut myself on a branch" says neteyam, sitting down on the ground. Mo'at gives you a look, causing you to laugh. "Y/N…clean neteyam's deep wound" says mo'at, you get up from the ground approaching neteyam. To sit in front of him. Taking a cream that was in one of the many bottles that mo'at had. You can see the smirk of confidence on his face. "You're bleeding to death" you joke, watching as he moves closer to you. "I just wanted to see you… it's been a long time" neteyam takes your hand, to caress it.
"It's only been a few hours" you place some medicine, moving closer to him. You two were now very close. "That's a long time….hey" neteyam whispers. You look back, glancing at mo'at. The woman was too busy at her work, so she wasn't paying attention to you. "What?" you say, while pretending you were putting in more medicine. "How about we meet at the waterfall?" neteyam asks you. "What for?" you feel neteyam's hand hold yours, pulling it closer to his chest. Lowering his head further, so that it is now closer to your ear. "To bathe together…you and me" neteyam laughs a little, watching as you place your hands on his mouth. He had to be quiet, his grandmother couldn't hear anything. Seeing mo'at still not paying attention to him. "close…touching us" speaks neteyam, a little loudly. You tell him to shut up, laughing at him.
Mo'at looks at you from afar, the scene ahead of her was interesting… the two of you were in front of each other. Your hand on neteyam's chest, he held it caressing your skin. While both of you were laughing, whispering to each other. The woman takes a deep breath, the feelings she was feeling that you two were transmitting was something that she knew would cause problems, but it was something strong. Something unavoidable, it was more than evident that the two of you were together. Mo'at turned her attention back to her work, it was best if she pretended not to see anything. She knew that when they needed her help you would talk to her. "Well…see you at sundown,ok?" neteyam waits for your reply, you nod, watching as neteyam walks over to you and gives you a quick kiss on the shoulder. You push him away, pushing him out of the hut as you two were giggling. You sit back down next to mo'at, you can feel her giving you a few glances. But you see that she doesn't speak, she doesn't seem upset. So you assume she didn't see you and doesn't suspect anything.
That same afternoon… Neteyam had finished all his chores, he was ready to go to the waterfall as he had planned with you. Today had been a good day, the only downside was the conversation he had with his mother that morning, but everything else had run smoothly. Neteyam had rushed to the family hut, leaving his hunting tools behind. Feeling more relaxed and to come find you at the lab. This meeting was important to him, being with your company was very precious. With you he could be himself, no longer the perfect son that his parents wanted him to be. Well…that his mother wanted. Neteyam was aware of his mother's plans. And he knew that in the end he had to make his decision, but at this moment he was not going to think about anything and he was going to enjoy the afternoon.
Just as he was entering the laboratory he bumped into Leeka. The girl greeted him from afar, neteyam tried not to make a bad face. He didn't want to be rude, but he didn't want to talk to her, especially knowing that she was doing what his mother asked her to do. Leeka approached him. "Hello, how are you?" the girl asks. "I'm fine…thanks" neteyam was already feeling uncomfortable, and now even more so that he was in a hurry. "Hey…I was wondering if you I…can we walk for a while" says the girl, noticing how neteyan tenses up and laughs uncomfortably. "It can be now…or whenever you want" leeka was sure neteyam would agree, he looked like a guy who wouldn't say no. "Leeka….I don't" neteyam was about to answer her, but just at that moment the door to the lab opened. "Y/N!!!" neteyam shouts a little, coming closer to you. Taking your hand quickly, pulling you closer to his side. "Is something wrong?" you are a little confused, you were going to go look for him. You weren't expecting him at the entrance, and even less so with this company.
"No…I was just waiting for you. Why don't we leave?" says Neteyam, the boy is anxious to get out of there. "Aren't we going for a walk?" leeka looks at neteyam, she still couldn't believe he was denying her request. "no….we'll talk later" neteyam drags you with him, while you look back feeling how leeka's gaze is glued to you. You decide to ignore what happened a moment ago, and focus on neteyam. The path to the waterfall was a bit far, so he ends up carrying you like a little horse on his back. Talking about anything, and enjoying the moment. When you arrive at the waterfall, neteyam puts you down. While he goes to check on the water. "Love… this water has a nice temperature" says neteyam, seeing how you were taking something out of your bag. You had been carrying a strange bag all this time. A long time ago neteyam stopped wondering what were the things you sometimes brought with you, it was a common thing with you. Always with bundles, and boxes with you. You are kneeling on the floor, your back to Neteyam. "Baby what are you doing there?" neteyam kneels behind you. Putting his head on your shoulder, you push him a little. "Wait!!!" you speak up, you wanted to show him something you had been working on for weeks.
You had been working on your new oxygen mask for weeks. And you had waited all day to show it to neteyam. Neteyam sees you take off your current mask, and gets nervous. "Baby what are you doing?" but within seconds you turn around, showing neteyam that your face was free of that annoying glass. "Taraaaa what's up?" you were very happy that it worked well, you had tried it but you still had your doubts. "This…I can't believe it, you finally finished it" neteyam kneels down to be at your height, getting closer to you. Watching carefully how everything worked, small tubes that entered through your nose and traveled behind your ear. Then connecting to your oxygen machine. Neteyam takes your face with his hands, kissing you. It was the first time he could kiss you, being in his environment. He felt needed, as if he couldn't have any more of you. "ok, what are we waiting for" neteyam gets up from the floor. You were still a little shaken by the kiss, you didn't want him to pull away from you. You move closer to him, moving to his arm to rest on his forearm. But you can see how neteyam moves away from you and starts to take off all his clothes, the bracelets.
"Hey…what are you doing?" you laugh nervously, trying to stop him by placing your hands on his waist. "We weren't going to bathe?…we have to take off our clothes. Come on," Neteyam says as if it were the most normal thing in the world. And yes it was, you were the one who had that conflict. But even so, you knew from the look neteyam was giving you that he had other plans in mind. You watch as he continues to remove his clothes, reaching for his loincloth. "You're going to leave me alone, come on love…" neteyam starts to take off his loincloth. While you look around worriedly, you didn't want anyone to see you naked. Well, it's not like you have a lot of clothes on at the moment. Your top of ornaments, didn't cover much of your breasts. The last piece of neteyam falls to the floor, leaving him completely naked in front of you. You shift your gaze, you felt your cheeks were getting hot, neteyam was very beautiful…too much of beautiful. "Do you want me to help you?" asks neteyam, approaching you. Neteyam kneels in front of you again, coming over to help remove the knots from your top, moving it out of the way. You swallow hard, you loved it when he took care of you. Pulling the knots out of your loincloth, leaving you naked.
Neteyam pulls away a little, looking you up and down gently. It made you nervous, when he did these things. You laugh shyly, touching his chest. Neteyam meets your gaze, and there was a tender smile on his lips. His look was one of love and admiration. Damn…you had him so in love. "Hey…come on!!!" you move closer to him, wrapping your arms around his neck, to kiss his cheeks. "Ok, ok" netayam wraps his arms around you, standing up suddenly. Making you scream, as he walked towards the water. Sometimes you forgot how tall neteyam was, holding you tightly. As neteyam got deeper into the water you were stealing sloppy kisses all over his face and neck. When the water finally touches your shoulders, you can feel neteyam tighten his grip on you. Taking your thighs, to wrap them around his waist, you squeeze him intently trying to seek friction on his skin. He begins to kiss your neck, while his hands move over your hips, and squeeze the soft skin. You were getting a little desperate, kissing and seeking more of his touch. "I thought we were just going to bathe" neteyam says giggling between kisses, enjoying the attention you were giving him. Holding you tighter, lifting you higher on his body. "You started it" you laugh. "Hey…did you know I can hold my breath for 5 minutes straight?" says neteyam, looking at you mischievously.
"And?" you speak, feeling neteyam pull you a little away from his body. But he still holds you so you don't move too far away. "I would like to know if I can break my record…and I need your help. What do you think?" neteyam starts to go down in the water, while you laugh. Feeling him pull you closer to him. He dives completely into the water, kissing your stomach leaving a line of bubbles rising up. You place your hands on his hair, helping him a little. You knew the way he was going. Lowering it further, feeling neteyam take your thighs, to wrap them around his shoulders. Sinking his face into your cunt, His tongue flicked your clit and then spread from the bottom of your pussy to the top. The sensation of rough tongue, the feeling of bubbles caused by neteyam's lack of air. They caused you to shudder, and squeeze your thighs tighter against the sides of his face. Tangling your hand in his braids, you didn't know how he was managing to stay underwater so long, but he was making his point.

Leeka thought about what had happened. For her it was strange enough that a boy like neteyam was denying her proposal to count. Leeka was a highly demanded na'vi in the clan…but she had her eyes set on neteyam. But what she was most curious about was the strange relationship neteyam had with you. She knew that you had grown up together, and that he had always been around demons. But… neteyam was very very close to you, and she was thinking that this was not normal. She was beginning to believe the rumors among the younger members of the clan. The romantic closeness the two of you had, how neteyam's scent was wafting over you. How you had been seen together, in unusual situations. But she knew she could fulfill what she promised neytiri…besides neteyam couldn't be with human, that's ridiculous. Leeka decided to go for a walk, she wanted to clear her mind. But she also wanted to look for neteyam, he couldn't be far away. The girl had walked quite a long way, she thinks it's been an hour. But she can hear the sound of water very close to her. She was going to stop and get some water…but stopped when she heard some voices.
Neteyam climbed up, breathing fast and with a stupid smile on her lips. You were stunned by the previous activities. You felt your cheeks burning, when Neteyam placed his hands on your face. Leaning in for a kiss, pulling away a little. Enjoying the view, of his partner all shattered in his arms. And that was just a little bit…of everything he wanted to do with you. You relax into his touch, resting your head in his hands. As you try to regain your normal breathing, neteyam slides his thumb across your lips…sliding it into your mouth. Watching as you instinctively suck it gently as he withdraws it, leaving a 'pop' sound. "You're a good girl" neteyam says, moving closer to kiss your lips. "Thank you" you speak, watching as neteyam lets out a laugh, pulling you close to his chest, so you can hug him. After a moment of cuddling, keep silent. "I want us to unite before eywa" says nateyam out of nowhere, noticing how your eyes widen in surprise. "What?" you ask.
Neteyam was getting tired of playing these little games with you, he wants you to be his partner. May you be his woman completely. That he could have you completely and he knew that you wanted too. He could feel it. “But what will your family say,” you speak, wrapping your arms around his neck. “I will talk to my family…they will understand. I want this to be serious, I love you” Neteyam is interrupted when they both hear Leeka's voice calling Neteyam. “Neteyam?” Leeka is standing on the shore, the girl glances at her feet. Noticing the mountain of outfits on the grass. And seeing how you and neteyam were together. You quickly move away, swimming further. Meanwhile, Neteyam turned around, now looking at the girl. "What's going on?" Neteyam asks. "What are you doing here? “I thought they were somewhere else,” Leeka says, crossing her arms. “I never say where I was going…besides, why do you care so much?” Neteyam sounded arrogant and annoyed. Leeka sulks, but she knew that she was no one to complain to him. “Sorry…I only found you guys by accident” Leeka says, looking at you intently.
You were trying to cover yourself, you didn't want her to suspect anything. Leeka looks at clothes again, and then laughs a little. “It seems like you are enjoying the river,” she says sarcastically. “Yes… and you are interrupting us” says Neteyam. “teyam!!!” You scold him, but he ignores you. His attention now was on Leeka leaving them alone. “Well… sorry for interrupting, see you later teyam” she laughs and looks at you as she says the last word. They both stay there, watching the girl walk away from the river. Leaving you alone again, Neteyam watches carefully, making sure she's not around. To turn to see you. He can tell how upset and scared you were right now. “Y/N?” neteyam calls, trying to take your arm. But you walk away, swimming towards the shore. “I told you that someone would come…and ahhh” you start arguing to yourself. You knew it wasn't his fault, but you were also aware that this could cause problems. “It's no big deal…she won't say anything” Neteyam says, keeping up with you. You guys had already gotten out of the water, and you were starting to put on your clothes.
“Of course…neteyam that girl was chosen by your mother. She talks to her, spends time with her…her” You turn to look at him, as you put on your last piece of clothing. “I want to go back to the lab, yes?” You give up, you didn't want to talk about this topic now. Your good time had been ruined by her. Neteyam also felt like you. “Okay…but” neteyam takes your hand, kneeling down to be at your height. “How about we meet in our place today? Yes…please” Neteyam begs, kissing your hand. You think for a moment, you didn't want things to escalate, but you also wanted to spend more time with him. You smile at him, and move closer to kiss him on the tip of his nose. “Ok…we'll see you at the same time” you see how the boy gets excited. They both finish getting ready, and begin their way back home. But this time, neteyam would carry you all the way, you were too tired to walk back.
Neteyam dropped you off in front of the lab, he was aware that what had happened had hurt both your spirits. You had barely spoken on the way home, but he was not discouraged. Maybe all you needed to do was get some rest and then you could go see each other. Neteyam came up to you, giving you a big kiss on your cheek. And another on the crown of your head. "I'll see you…yes?" neteyam looks at you hoping you wouldn't stand him up. "Yeah" you speak, smiling shyly and walking into the lab. Looking back, watching as neteyam stood there waiting for you to come back to him. But you decide to continue on your way, leaving him more frustrated. The boy sighs loudly…why that girl had to show up, why his mother was so insistent. He was going to put a stop to this whole situation… his family had to know the truth and accept it.
Neteyam arrived at the family hut, to his good fortune he found his mother and grandmother. Mo'at was visiting the hut, helping her daughter. Both women watched as Neteyam entered the hut, they could see that he was upset. But not in comparison to his mother, who had barely turned around to greet him. "Mom?" speaks neteyam, approaching his mother's side, to sit next to her. "I have to tell you something" neteyam didn't mind that his grandmother was with them, in the end she always found out everything. "I want to talk to you too" neytiri says, neteyam is silent so that her mother can start first. Neytiri looks up, her look was one of confrontation. "What the hell were you doing naked, and kissing Y/N in the river this afternoon" neytiri blurts out, neteyam gets nervous quickly. Jumping out of his seat, looking quickly at his grandmother. Mo'at looked shocked, but she already knew her daughter was going to ask that question to the poor boy.
After Leeka left the river, she went ahead. Running as fast as her feet would allow, she quickly reached neytiri. Telling her everything she saw, this left neytiri astonished. She couldn't believe it, it was one thing for her son to be friends with these humans. But that he was romantically involved with one…she couldn't believe it. As soon as mo'at arrived to visit her daughter, she told her everything that was happening. Even neytiri complained to her mother, because of the closeness she had with you. "Are you suggesting that because of me the two of them are together?!!!" shouts a little mo'at. "Don't say they are together" neytiri was falling in crisis. And now she finally had the chance to ask him in person, neteyam had to tell her the truth.
"Mom…" neteyam looks down for a moment, takes a breath and begins to speak. Now…this was the moment. After so long he was going to tell her everything. "Y/n and I…we want to be a mates. And we are going to unite before eywa. That is my wish and Y/n's wish" says neteyam, he had a confident voice. He knew what he wanted and that no one was going to change his mind. Neteyam's statement left Mo'at speechless, she looked at her daughter. Neytiri's eyes were closed, and for a moment she bit her lower lip in anger. "You're going crazy…that's impossible. I won't allow it" neytiri shouts, turning completely around now. "Mama but" neteyam tries to defend himself. "No…you know all that we have sacrificed for those humans and now you tell me that you want to join your life with one of them…that is something, impossible. It is something almost…grotesque" neytiri speaks, neytiri's words hurt neteyam.
And yes, he didn't have the heart to yell at his mother. So he just lowers his head, letting his mother vent all her frustration. "Daughter" mo'at tries to rationalize with neytiri, touching her shoulder. But neytiri pulls away, getting up from the ground angrily. "Listen neteyam… you're not going to see that girl again. I know you're of age, but I won't let you give away your future" neytiri storms out of the hut, not before stopping at the entrance of the hut. "I'm so disappointed in you" neytiri says, walking away. Meanwhile neteyam had remained there, sitting with his head down. And mo'at could notice, as some tears fell to the ground. Her grandson had been an exceptional child all his life…she knew what was going through his head now. And how bad he felt…but she also understood that no one was in control of his heart.
Mo'at settles down next to her grandson…wrapping him in her arms. Giving him a kiss on the side of his head. "neteyam don't worry… I will talk to your mother" Mo'at says. Watching as the boy looks up quickly. His face was teary, some tears were still running down his eyes. "You're not upset?" asks neteyam. Mo'at was a little confused, but not upset. She had learned that things in life cannot be controlled, that eywa has its own plans. And even if you interfere with them…it never works. Besides, they were talking about you, she knew you. She had practically raised you, she knew you and she knew you were a good girl. Neytiri was either overreacting…or she was already going crazy. But she was going to support her grandson…she couldn't leave him alone.

BEST FRIENDS - j. champion
You and Jack met on the set of Avatar when you were 12. Now 19, you lived in apartments across from each other in LA. You're both navigating life as young adults and wondering how the other fits into that.
You were seated on the couch of your apartment in Los Angeles watching one of your favorite movies.
Now, finally 19, your mother had trusted you enough to move out to California on your own. Well, sort of.
The agreement was that you could only move across the country if your best friend since you were 12 — Jack Champion — made the move as well. His apartment was across the hall from yours. Both sets of parents wanted easy accessibility to each other for the both of you. So, when they found an apartment building with 2 vacant apartments across the hall, they knew it was meant to be.
You'd met Jack on the set of Avatar: the Way of Water. It was both of your first ever big screen role and you happened to be the two actors closest in age to each other. The boy less than a month older than you.
Your characters played alongside each other, both the only humans born on Pandora, so over the course of filming you'd spent nearly every day together. Because of this, you'd become best friends.
Now, nearly 6 years later, and Jack was seated next to you in your apartment. You would never have thought that your life would end up this way.
Jack shifted next to you, his sudden movement catching your attention. "I might head back to my apartment soon, i've got dinner plans with Jamie tonight and my bed is calling my name for a nap." A faint laugh fell from his lips.
Your own parted, looking at him with the saddest eyes. "Why can't you take a nap here?"
"Because you're wide awake."
"I'm always down to take a nap, you know this, J." you laughed, slightly pushing him.
He caught one of your hands, bringing it up to his mouth to press a kiss to it. "If the princess insists." Jack was giving you the eyes that always drove you crazy.
You'd never tell him that, though.
Jack didn't need to know you'd been harboring a crush on him for the past 2 years. In the break between the end of filming and the premier of your movie, you'd developed feelings for the curly-headed boy.
The two of you had spent nearly every day together, when covid hit, you were separated for months before filming was able to conclude. And in the time after that, when Jack lived in Virginia and you in (your home state), the boy made every effort to come visit you. That, or you'd be on facetime almost every night.
He really put forth the effort to keep your friendship going and that made your heart soar.
You'd devised a plan with Jack to convince your parents to let you both move out on your own. Hence, how you ended up where you were at the moment.
And over time, you'd realized that maybe you had stopped seeing Jack as only your best friend. Maybe there was something more.
"I've got 4 hours before i've got to meet up with Jamie, so if we're gonna nap, let's go." Jack tore you from your thoughts, standing at the entrance to the hallway that lead to your room.
Jack would much rather take a nap in a bed than on the couch, so it wasn't odd that he was halfway to your bedroom by the time you caught up.
The two of you napped together so often that Jack knew how you only slept well when you were on the side of the bed closest to the door, leaving him near the wall. He crawled into the bed, cuddling under the comforter. Cheekily, he smiled up at you with his arms open, knowing you couldn't resist making yourself at home in his arms.
"Set an alarm?" he questioned as you crawled in next to him.
You tapped a couple buttons on your phone before setting it on the side table. "Mhmm." His arms hooked around your waist, pulling you flush against him.
His head tucked in your neck, his hot breath fanning your face. Shivers shot down your spine and you almost lost it. You couldn't help but wonder if he knew what he did to you?
Jack shifted once more, his head tilting before his lips met your cheek. "Love you." he mumbled.
Holy fucking shit.
He kissed your cheek. Your mind was going crazy. "Love you too, J." The two of you told each other how much you loved the other all the time, why did this time feel different?
His arms were still around your waist as you laid there. Your hands fell down to rest on top of his own, loving the feeling of your hands touching. Jack moved his hands, a slight frown flashing on your lips, but instantly disappeared when you felt him slip his fingers between yours.
Did he really want to hold your hands?
You tried to calm your heart and mind of the thoughts running through your head — you'd never fall asleep if you didn't. But the way his thumbs rubbed your knuckles made it extremely hard.
"G'night." Jack mumbled, his hot breath tickling your neck.
Now you were sure you wouldn't fall asleep.
Jack's breathing eventually slowed, clueing you into the fact he'd fallen asleep. You were jealous. He was able to sleep soundly not knowing all that he'd done to you.
Having feelings for Jack felt weird. You'd known him for 6+ years now, and knew that he'd forever be your best friend. But lately, part of you wanted him to be more. It was hard to come to terms with it.
Who knows how much time had passed before you’d given up on sleeping in the position you were in. You let go of Jack’s hands and rolled over to face him, hoping that he’d move in a way to accommodate your new position. Now you were laying with your head on his chest and legs intertwined. Maybe listening to his slow and steady heartbeat would lull you to sleep.
Only, his heartbeat wasn’t slow.
It was fast, very fast.
You furrowed your eyebrows, this didn’t make sense. Wasn’t the heart supposed to be slower when you were asleep?
Your curiosity got the best of you and you propped yourself up, looking up to Jack’s face. He wasn’t asleep anymore, no, he was sleepily looking down at you.
“Did I wake you up?” you mumbled, not wanting to speak too loud.
He shrugged, “Maybe.”
You rested a hand on his chest, his heartbeat prominent under your finger tips. “Why is your heart racing?” You asked yet another question.
Jack’s face flushed red and he avoided eye contact.
Had you done something? Your hand that was over his heart, now holding his cheek. “J, are you ok? Do I need to call a doctor or something?” You were starting to panic.
His heartbeat was never this fast and you were starting to worry at his lack of a response. The thought of him going to the hospital when his family was on the other side of the country made you nervous. You didn’t like it at all.
“Y/N.” Jack’s hand held the one of yours that still rested on his face.
Your eyes found his, in the dim lighting of your bedroom, you still were mesmerized by the dark color of them. “Yeah?”
His other hand slid up your back, successfully giving you chills. Only, the hand didn’t stop. Jack caught the back of your neck, pulling your face down to his.
You took in a sharp breath as his lips connected with yours. Holy shit.
It took you less than a second to kiss back. You couldn’t believe this was happening.
Your mind swirled with thoughts of how long Jack could’ve possibly felt the same way. But also, you were quickly getting lost in the kiss. There were so many feeling surging through your body you didn’t know what to do.
But Jack did.
He pulled your body so you were laying on top of him, your bodies flushed with each other. You were unsure of how far you’d go at the moment, but the fact you were kissing your best friend had you on cloud 9.

You wake to the sun shining on both of you. You lay your head on his heaving  blue chest, he is still asleep. He looks like he is at peace.
“Ma paskalin. My flower. Did you sleep okay? Is the grass not too rough for you?,” he asks as he begins to wake. You loved the sound of his raspy morning voice. You giggle, and give him a few quick kisses on his cheek.
“No, Tsu’tey. It’s fine. I slept great. Never been better,” you reply to him, hoping to calm his worries. You loved that he was starting  to show a caring side to him, his soft side. You never imagined that a fierce warrior such as himself could be so gentle with you.
“Good. Ma paskalin. I am free today to spend the day with you. I have shown you the ways of the Na’vi, now you can show me your human ways, my flower,” he softly says, as he cups your cheek with his large hand. “I’d love nothing more,” you reply back, gazing into his yellow eyes. You smile, and bring him in for a kiss. His plump lips felt so good on yours!!
You told him that you were still sore from your training the other day. In response, he simply carried you over to his direhorse, your legs wrapped around his thin waist. He set you onto the horse first and then got on himself. He patted the horse’s back, and the two of you rode back to the outskirts of the human camp.
“I need to go. This is just an avatar, after all. My human body needs food and rest,” you tell him. You were sad to leave him. You felt like you wanted to spend more time with him.
“Ma paskalin. I would like to see your human body. I am curious. I will let you rest, and then come back tonight. You can meet me in your human form, I am sure it’ll be just as cute as you are now,” he whispers, and then brings you in for another kiss. He jumps off the horse, stretching out his arms for you, so he can lift you off. You loved his ways of casual dominance. After he helps you back onto the ground, he lets out a war cry as he takes off with the horse. He was so fierce, but so gentle with you. It made you even more infatuated with him.
You wonder if he would like your human form. He wasn’t very fond of humans, but it seemed like you were the exception.
~ Later, 9pm, The Lab ~
You waited for him in the trailer lab that you worked out of. You picked a flower earlier that day, and made sure to weave it into your hair. You put on a pink dress, and white sneakers, and a little necklace. You wanted to give him a chance to see you outside, and inside, to see you for who you were, a kind soul who was starting to fall in love with an alien. You weren’t sure if any other humans (well, besides Jake sully, previously) were able to see the Navi as beautiful, to see them for who they were.
You peek out the window to see him approaching, but this time it is an ikran that you see instead of his horse. You flew on your own the other day.
“Ma paskalin. Kaltxí,”(hello) he softly speaks to you, his hand running through your hair. “So soft,” he says, fascinated by how your hair was so much different than your avatar. You let out a little giggle as he ran his large hand through your hair, soft and flowing down to where your pink dress starts.
“What is this? Sky people do not wear loincloth,  I see,” he says as he inspects your dress. It was cute how he didn't know what a dress was for. You swore you saw a little blush spread across his cheeks as he had your dress in his fingers.
“Come. I must show you special place,” he whispers. He takes you by the hand, your small steps struggling to keep up with his big ones. He saw that you couldn’t really even keep with his pace, so he just lifted you up into his arms as he walked towards his ikran. He lifts you up there first, and then gets on himself. Even the ikran was so much bigger since you were on it in your human form.
“Hold on closely, ma yuey. It might be bumpy for you,” he warns you. You both take off, Tsu’tey leads the ikran in the air, going in between the Hallelujah mountains. The bioluminescence of the forest shone down below, visible to your eye. He begins to point out a few of his favorite places.
“That is my favorite river to swim in. The water is so warm, so calm,” he pointed out. “Let’s swim then,” you suggest. He smiles widely at you, and then lands the ikran with a shout. He carefully sets you down, reaching his hand for you to take. He leads you over to the water, sitting down with you by the shore, and then slowly wading in.
You were a bit hesitant. You forgot you weren’t wearing a bra. “Come, yuey. Join me,” he says with a smirk. You were getting to see that gentle side of him. You sigh. Maybe it was time for him to see all of you anyway. You could not mate with him tonight since your avatar was not here.
You slide off your dress, his eyes began to blow wide at your now naked body. He beckons you closer to him, you slide into the water, his strong arms holding you to him, ears flattened, tail erratic…
————-
You slept with him that night, you spent hours exploring each other’s body. It was incredibly hard for you to take him as a human, since you were so small :) (so you took his fingers instead)
————-
“I’ll come swim again with you, ma yuey. I want to protect you, care for you, I am so fortunate to have met a pretty thing like you… In your Navi form, meet me at the river tomorrow night…”
________
That was last night. You were by the river, at eclipse, exactly when he told you to meet him.
He came without his ikran this time. Just him. You wrapped your arms around his neck, he wrapped his around your waist. “Kaltxi,” you smiled at him. “Kaltxi, ma yuey,” he smiles back.
His lips meet yours in a long, sweet kiss. You feel his tail graze your arm, you move yours alongside to wrap around his. You feel his grip around your waist get stronger, you are then lifted up and taken with him into the water. “Let’s swim out, further from the forest banks. The two of you do so. Finally, you are in a secluded part of the river.
“Want to have you to myself, ma sevin (my pretty) Ma yuey. Wanted you to be mine, since I first saw you,” he tells you. “You are such a pretty little thing,” he coos at you. You blush. “Even when you acted like you were disgusted by me?,” you question him. He lets out a chuckle.
“I never was. You are much smaller than most Navi. Yes, you are dreamwalker. But, you are not like the others. I saw it in you after a few days of watching you, ma yuey. Saw it that you were meant to be mine. My mate. Ma muntxate…” (my mate)
You smile at him again to bring him into a kiss. He lifts you up, your chest now against his neck as you both fervently embrace each other in the warm water. Luminescent petals and flowers flutter above you, a soft breeze through your hair.
You feel his hands trail to your waist and below, gripping your soft skin tightly in his calloused hands. You feel him undo your neck piece, your chest now fully exposed to him. He only predatorily smiles as he attacks your chest with his hands, groping, kneading at it. His fingertips run over your nipple, it felt so intense, it was so sensitive.
“You will be my woman,” he huffs out, in between kisses, his lips now running over your neck and collarbone. “Yes. Tsu’tey. Will be yours. Please. Need to…,” you trial off, with a bit of a moan. You needed him so badly, you needed that sweet release, you needed his cock stuffing you full until you couldn’t breathe.
“Want you, ma Tsu’tey,”  you moaned out to him as he continued to run his large hands over your body, his fingers now trailing dangerously close in between your legs, grazing your dripping, hot cunt.
“Ah-ah. Patience, ma yuey,” he chides at you,  with a smile so, so, wide. He was enjoying this, teasing you. You were like putty in his arms. “Need to stretch you out first, my woman. Bet you’re tight,” he almost growls at you. You moan again, and bring him into a kiss. You feel his fangs on your soft lips, turning you on even more.
You suddenly gasp as you feel his thick and long fingers slide into you. Even his fingers were already too much. You feel him move them around, stretching you out, massaging your gummy walls. “Tsu’tey. Please,” you moan out, holding onto his shoulders for a semblance of balance.
He smirks at you again. “Look at you. Ma yuey, all fucked out for me. Think you’re ready, sweet girl,” he coos to you, and with that, you feel him slide out of you, his hand undoing his loincloth below.
You were still in the water, but your eyes grew wide as he put you down, leading you out onto the secluded, luminescent bank. Water droplets slowly made their way down his toned abdomen, his small waist… your eyes grew wide once more once you laid eyes on his weeping cock. The mushroom tip was a darker blue, while the shaft was the same color as his skin, with a thick vein down the side, and bioluminescent spots on it :) his balls just looked so full too, so heavy!!
You were caught by him. Staring. “Like what you see, my love? This is all for you. You know, I am powerful warrior, but I can be powerful in this way too,” he chuckles, extending a hand for you to take. He sits down on the bank, pulling you onto him.
You look into his dilated yellow eyes as you bring him in for another kiss. You moan out, loudly, as all in once he slides his hard cock into you, giving you no time to prepare. You fit around him like a glove, his cock just filled you up so perfect. “Going to move now. Put those little arms around me, ma yuey,” he commands, voice rough. You do as said.
He lifts you up, and starts to bounce you on his cock, sliding in, out, faster, and faster, deeper and deeper. You swore you were seeing stars, you never imagined that here you were, getting bred by the Omaticaya’s greatest warrior, the Olo’eyktan.
You felt a bit of vertigo as he kept pounding into you, you hear his harsh grunts, a predator,  and your soft little mewls, his prey. He reaches over for his braid.
“Tsaheylu, ma yuey. Now.” You reach over to your braid, bringing it closer to his. They connect. Your mind goes blank. You feel him, feel his soul, feel his pleasure, feel his past. You see your future together, your training as Tsahik-to-be, your time at the tree of voices, you were Omaticaya. You were his mate, destined to be with him, forever.
He feels yours all in the same way, the two of you never break eye contact as he cums inside you, filling you up, you feel his hot cum inside you, dripping down.
“Let us stay like this, ma yuey. Want to hold you close,” he whispers, his eyes still very much dilated. “We are together now,” you whisper back, so contently. “Oel ngate kameie,” you whisper to each other. You see him. He sees you. "Nga yawne lu oer, ma yuey." (I love you) You say it back, of course, you love him. He is your mate!!
He smiles back at you, bringing you in for a kiss. The two of you fell asleep in that position, still connected.
———-
When daylight rolled around, you were upset. You completely forgot that you still had a human life outside of the Omaticaya, outside of the forest. Tsu’tey had taken you back to the village, laying your avatar to rest in his hut while he announced his new status as mated to the rest of the clan. They did not mind having you around, so you were to meet with Mo’at later the day, for discussing a  permanent transition to the clan.
After you had told her what you had seen when you had made Tsaheylu, she had offered Tsu’tey and yourself to visit the Tree of Life, to connect with Eywa. "Eywa ma ngahu...," (may Eywa be with you) Mo'at tells you, before you connect your queue to the tree. Eywa had shown you exactly what you have seen during your mating ritual. Mo’at had determined that it was fate, it was Eywa’s way that the two of you were destined to be mated.
You started out as a human scientist, simply observing the Omaticaya on occasion. Now — you were Omaticaya, you were mated, you were part of their customs, their life. Eywa has blessed you, Eywa has chosen you, and you could not wait to permanently transition. You saw the way, a new life, waiting for you.

Part 2
After you and Neteyam talked, everyone was sent to bed. You usually slept in the Sully hut with Kiri, but after yesterday's events, you figured they might need some space. You hated sleeping in your hut, though; it was lonely with the ghosts of the life you used to have. Your parents loved each other, and their story was so cute. They didn’t have the traditional “love at first sight” kind of love. Where you see each other and you know they are the one. Although that is sweet, it’s not always realistic.
Your mother had eyes for a different Na’vi, and was not even interested in your father. Your mother pinned for this man for so long that she gave up and decided to swear off men. Your father always noticed your mother, her pretty hair, her eyes, her bow skills, and most importantly, her smile—all the traits you luckily inherited. Slowly your father started to flirt with your mother, spend time with her, and before she knew it, she was in love. She always said it snuck up on her.
You quickly got up and left before the burning in your throat and chest became tears in your eyes. Usually, Kiri, Lo’ak, and Tuk would be around in the morning while Jake, Neytiri, and Neteyam did their rounds around the clan. Today was different, though. The whole Sully family was still in their hut. You peeked inside and saw they were in deep conversation and slipped away quietly before they noticed.
Neteyam was shocked at what his father had just said to everyone. “We have to go; we must leave our home and disappear.”
Tuk started to cry, and Neteyam pulled her to him, cradling her head.
“This isn’t fair; this is our home!” Kiri cried. She was angry. Kiri looked at her mother for help, but Neytiri was staring at the ground, her face blank. She was trying to keep a brave face for her children, but inside she could feel the wounds already in her heart tearing deeper.
“I’m sorry, sir, but I have to agree with Kiri. You are Olo’eyktan. What will the people do.” Neteyam pleaded with his father. Not only that, but he was the next Olo’eyktan. The Omatikaya was his clan to protect one day, and he wasn’t going to abandon them.
“The decision has been made. This is to protect the people. This is to protect you. This family is our fortress. As long as we are together and safe, that is all that matters.” Jake stood up. He was upset and scared but couldn’t let his guard down. He had to stay strong for his kids and also Neytiri.
“And what of Y/n? Is she coming too?” Kiri asked, her eyes full of concern; she wasn’t going to leave her sister.
This made Lo’ak head snap up, he was sad about leaving, but he never felt like he truly belonged here. The thought of leaving you behind… it made his throat tighten up.
“I do not think it is fair to strip her from her home. She will make the choice herself whether or not she wants to stay.” Neytiri finally spoke. It killed her to think of you not coming, but it was only fair. She would not take you from the forest if you did not want to leave.
When Lo’ak heard his mother's words, panic set in. What if you didn’t come with them? What if you stayed and he never saw you again? What if you forgot about him? Or worse, found someone else to be with.
Neteyam was just as troubled; after yesterday, maybe you wanted no part of this life. Running from the Sky people, constantly being in danger from his fathers past. You didn’t have to suffer the same fate as them.
Kiri and Tuk immediately left to find you; they couldn’t just stand there lost in thought like their brothers panicking. By the time they found it was too late. Jake and Neytiri had sat you down and started to talk to you. Neteyam and Lo’ak caught up to Kiri and Tuk, planning to convince you to come.
Kiri noticed the panic and worry on Lo’ak and Neteyam’s faces. They were both scared, scared to lose you. Their faces started to crumble when you started crying and hugging their parents. Did this mean goodbye? Lo’ak couldn’t take the pain in his chest and walked away, refusing to watch. While Neteyam stood watching, begging from afar that you would come with them.
You sat there for a good five seconds trying to process what Neytiri and Jake just said to you.
“I know this is hard, but we want what’s best for you. You don’t have to leave your home because of us.” Jake said, placing a hand on your shoulder
Tears started to flow down your face. It wasn’t because you were devastated to leave the forest. Of course, you were sad, but the forest reminds you so much of the life you had with your parents. The thought of losing the Sullys and not going with them upsets you.
“No, no, please, please take me with you. I’ll be good. I’ll do my part for the family. Please don’t leave me behind!” you hugged both Neytiri and Jake. You loved Jake and Neytiri. They took you and treated you like their own. Neytiri was the last link you had to your mother, and losing her would kill you.
“Y/n, of course, we would not leave you.” Neytiri took your face in her hands. “We are simply giving you the option. Is this what you want?”
You calmed down a bit, realizing they weren’t telling you they were leaving you, but they were offering you to come with them. You started to smile; they cared about you as much as you cared for them. Jake and your father were so much alike, protective and caring but also tough. Neytiri was just as fierce and strong as your mother but also sweet.
Not only that but Kiri, Tuk, Neteyam, and Lo’ak. You couldn’t imagine a life without them.
“There is nothing here holding me back from leaving. Where ever the Sully family goes, I will go.”
Neytiri and Jake smiled; they were hoping you’d say yes, mainly because Neytiri wasn’t blind to how Neteyam and Lo’ak have looked at you lately. She was happy that one of her boys would potentially end up with you.
Kiri, Tuk, and Neteyam were relieved when they saw you come out of the hut smiling along with their parents.
“Y/n will be coming with us,” Jake announced, shaking you playfully by your arms. You laughed and wiped away the lingering tears.
Tik and Kiri immediately ran up to you, engulfing you in a hug.
“Thank you, great mother!” Kiri exclaimed, you laughed and caressed Tuk’s little head. “I’m so happy you’re coming with us Y/n” Tuk buried her head into your side.
“Me too, I couldn’t leave my sisters,” you smiled. The rest of the Sullys walked to their hut to gather whatever they were bringing.
Neteyam was standing not too far away and approaching you. You could see the relief radiating off him. You were happy to see him but where was Lo’ak?
“I’m happy you are joining us.” Neteyam said with a shy smile.
“Me too, I couldn’t stay. Especially with you all leaving” you looked down suddenly nervous from him staring at you.
“I have to say..” you looked up at him again as he spoke softly. “It would have been a lot harder leaving if you would not have agreed to come,” and with a touch of your shoulder, he walked past you to his hut.
You stood there for a couple seconds after processing what he said to you. Neteyam. Neteyam. You kept repeating his name in your head. Your thoughts were abruptly stopped when you saw Lo’ak walk by in a hurry. Lo’ak. Right. Where was he, when you were talking to Jake and Neytiri.
“Hey! Lo’ak!” You called to him; you swore you could see his eyes jump to you for a second before continuing to wherever he was going. Did he just ignore you? You felt a needle pierce your heart a little. Hell no. You were about to chase after him but you heard Neytiri call you to.
This isn’t over Lo’ak. You thought to yourself.
Lo’ak had been ignoring you all day. Anytime you tried to talk to him, he brushed you off. At first angry, but now you were just sad and frustrated. Why was he upset with you? Was he mad you didn’t stay and take the heat with him from his parents for putting everyone in danger yesterday? Whatever it was, he couldn’t even look you in the eye.
Neteyam and Kiri noticed Lo’ak suddenly distancing himself from you. It was weird the trio was not attached to the hip. Y/n had been with Kiri all day, and when she asked you about Lo’ak, all you did was shrug your shoulders.
It was starting to piss Neteyam off. He didn’t like seeing you upset; when he talked to you, you were friendly but very uninterested in the conversation, like something else was on your mind.
Before dinner, he grabbed Lo’ak’s arm. “I advise you to talk to Y/n and fix whatever happened,” he said sternly to his brother.
Lo’ak shrugged him off, “what are you talking about? Nothing happened.” He scoffed.
“Y/n’s been upset all day. Fix it.” Neteyam gave his brother a look and walked to dinner, leaving Lo’ak with his thoughts. He didn’t realize he was upsetting you. He couldn’t stand the pain he felt when he looked at you, knowing he was leaving you. Then he started to get annoyed. Why was Neteyam so worried about you being upset?
At dinner, Lo’ak kept stealing glances at you, hoping you would look at him. But you kept your eyes trained down at your food or next to you to talk to Tuk and Kiri. If Lo’ak wanted to ignore you, you could ignore him better. Neteyam noticed the looks Lo’ak was giving you. His tail flicked side to side on the ground in annoyance. Lo’ak was such a skxawng , he thought. Your head tilted up when you heard a smack on the ground. Neytiri held Neteyam’s tail down, “stop,” she hissed and ran her hand down his tail. You laughed and looked up at him and Neytiri. He was already staring at you. He gave you a small smile and kept eating.
Without meaning to, your eyes shift to Neytiri's left, catching Lo’ak’s eyes. His eyebrows shot up, excited you finally looked at him. He tilted his head to the exit, eyes widening a little bit for a moment. So now he wants to talk.
You took a deep breath and excused yourself. Not long after, Lo’ak followed. Kiri looked at Neteyam, giving him a look. Neteyam shook his head, meaning give them space. However, he didn’t like the thought of you and Lo’ak alone. He knew you two needed to talk.
Lo’ak led you towards the forest. It was dark, so he didn’t take you far. He climbed up one of the trees the two of you frequently visited together, and he sat down, legs hanging off a branch. You sat next to him.
“Well?” You questioned after a couple of minutes of silence.
He took a deep breath. “I-I’m not mad at you.” He was still looking straight ahead.
“Okay, so why are you ignoring me?” You didn’t understand.
“Y/n.” He turned to look at you, “please don’t stay; I know it’s not fair for me to ask. But please come with us.”
Your eyes widened—what a skxawng. You started to laugh a little, covering your mouth. Lo’ak’ turned away from you, embarrassed. Why were you laughing at him.
You grabbed his chin, turning his face back to look at you. “I’m coming with you, Lo’ak.” You smiled at him.
A grin broke out on his face “wait, what? But I saw you crying and -“ you cut him off.
“If you had just asked me instead of ignoring me, you would know that at the end of that conversation, I decided to leave with you guys.” You dropped your hand from his chin, but he caught it. Your breath got caught in your throat. Finally, noticing you were sitting close to each other, thighs brushing together, his beautiful eyes looking at you tenderly. Your face burned.
“I'm sorry, okay? I’m sorry for ignoring and upsetting you. But I’m so happy that you are coming with us.” He spoke looking down at your two hands together.
There had been so many small moments between you and Lo’ak your entire life. Helping each other when you first learned to fly your ikrans, little touches of hands or stealing glances at each other during dinner.
Your heart beamed. You liked Lo’ak since you were little, but we’re sure if he felt the same way. Sometimes he treated you like Kiri, like when you almost fell off a tree branch and Neteyam caught you. He just laughed and told you to keep up. He would also sometimes flirt with girls around your age. While other times he treated you differently, like now. It made your head spin.
“Let’s head back before we get in trouble.” He kept your hand and helped you up.
“Yea..I think we’ve been in enough trouble lately” you smiled, and the two of you walked back to camp. You were on cloud nine until he dropped your hand when the two of you arrived back.
Neytiri approached the two of you, placing her hand on your heads.
“Head to bed. We are leaving early tomorrow.”
You nodded and looked back at Lo’ak, but he was already walking behind his mother, back to their hut.
You stayed in your hut that night. It was possibly the last time you would sleep in it. You lay down, and right before you fell asleep, you heard a noise. You turned to the opening and see Neteyam.
You sat up, “what’s wrong?” It was late, why was he here.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you. I just wanted to check in on you” he smiled, and you felt your body relax. You motioned him to sit down next to you.
“Uh, I’m fine. A little sad but at the same time excited.” Rubbing the back of your neck, he was sitting right in front of you. He always looked at you so intently while you talked. As of he didn’t want to miss a word you said.
“I’m excited, too; I can’t help but feel sad. I hate that we’re leaving.” He looked down between his legs.
“Of course, Neteyam. This is your home. Your clan, you were going to be Olo’eyktan one day. Whose knows, we could come back and the clan would absolutely choose your father to be Olo’eyktan again.”
He looked up at you and smiled. “thank you, but I came in to comfort you.” He laughed and bumped your shoulder.
“Well, lucky for you, I’m fine. I’m more than happy to comfort you.” You tilted your head at him and smiled widely. Your cheeks burned a little.
Neteyam had to look down because of how you were looking at him at that moment would make him spill out everything he’s wanted to say to you since you were 14.
“Okay, well. I’ll let you get some rest. Goodnight Y/n” you wished him a goodnight as he left.
You laid back down, and you couldn’t stop the smile that was creeping onto your face.
Okay! That’s all for today. I want to update everyday, as of right now. Please let me know if you want shorter chapters or if there are typos. Also does anyone know why it says “replies are turned off” and how do I turn them on.
I hope you enjoyed and please let me know if you enjoyed or want me to continue! (PART 3 IS UP)

Mountain Out Of A Molehill - replaced!mc au
Tumblr media
Obey Me brothers x reader (relationships not really defined)
Word Count: 3,200
Summary: When the boys start pulling away and refuse to tell you why it only makes sense to pull away too. But when you decide to leave the Devildom will they be too late to apologize and explain?
Warning: Hella angst (happy ending bc I can't handle the sad endings), misunderstanding/miscommunication, replaced!au, my goal was that the mc wasn't a push over....idk if I succeeded
----------
It hadn't been long since the new exchange student had come in. Only a couple of months. A couple of months of a slow decline of your relationships with the brothers. They slowly started leaving your texts on read, only to be found an hour later in a cafe or bookstore with the new student. Mammon would ask them for help distracting Lucifer. Satan would ask for their help pranking Lucifer. Asmo would ask them for their opinion on his outfit. The ache in your chest was so strong and so heavy. At some point, it was just impossible to deny it. You had been replaced.
It was honestly a stab to your pride looking at the fondness that poured from Lucifer's eyes when looking at them. Ironic isn't it? The avatar of pride destroying yours.
You understood, really, it's nothing new to say that when you meet someone new it's exciting. The truth is you could hardly fault them. The new student was a fast friend for you too. So you stayed back, you continued to bring Lucifer coffee in the middle of the night and pet Belphies head as he slept. But then the days got later.
6 months had passed since the new student arrived. 6 months of subtly being pushed away until you just felt numb. You'd wake up before Lucifer and leave for school before the brothers had left their rooms. You'd make it home before the brothers and if you ever wanted to leave after that? Well, you'd just have to come to terms with the fact that they weren't hounding you about where you going much anymore. On the rare occasions where one or two brothers would join it was obvious things weren’t the same. The distance was easy to see.
It's not like they were mean, far from it actually. Simply indifference sat behind their eyes. But nothing further. Levi would ask them to be player 2. Beel would share food with them. Not you. No fights over you, no conversations. You sat silently at the dinner table. No one noticed. It was like you were only roommates. That’s what hurt the most.
You were plagued with thoughts. Haunted with the question of how the new student was so much better, because if the brothers didn’t hate you then that was the only reason. You were no longer special.
And then the anger surfaced, a wrath that could rival Satan. You wanted to rip the door off its hinges and scream. Desperate for someone to blame. You blamed yourself, you blamed the new human student, you blamed Barbatos for never telling you the utter heartbreak you'd go through just a year after you'd met him. But ultimately you blamed the brothers, each and every one of them.
You gave everything you had to them, heart, soul, mind, life. And not long later you’re regarded as expired food. No. You’re worse. Beel would still eat expired food.
It took months to love them and it took months for them to trust you. A "Lowly, weak, insignificant human" they'd call you. Death is always around the corner. And just a couple of months go by for them to fall at the new student's feet.
It got to be too much, you'd drift between Purgatory Hall and the Demon Lord's Castle. Every week, anything to not have to look at them. Simeon tried, he really did, to give you some semblance of the relationships you lost. Luke was ready to fight 7 of the most powerful demons in the Devildom.
And thats when you decided to leave. You missed the sun rising and setting, you missed the seasons. You missed them. And two of those you could get back. If you just left the others behind. You talk to Diavolo and Barbatos and then you came up with a plan, leave Purgatory Hall, go to the Hall of Lamentation after the brothers have left, gather your things, and wait for dinner. It was a long waiting game, your heart bursting out of your chest at any unusual sound.
Everything was packed in suitcases when you walked back down the halls, staring at the crack on the ceiling from that one time Lucifer didnt tie Mammon up right and he fell. You longed to be able to go into Lucifer's room one last time but it was long before you left when he replaced the curse not allowing you in. You walked into Lucifer's office and you just sat, breathing in the lingering scent of ancient books and stale black coffee. You looked all around longing to go back to 8 months ago, but you just wanted to go home. Hours after you packed up you found yourself back in your now empty and lifeless room. You sat in the middle of the naked bed in your bedroom, tears streaming down your cheeks.
Heart tearing into shreds, every scar that had appeared was ripping open. Salty tears overflowing your palms and dripping down your wrists. You stared at your suitcase, sat nicely in the corner waiting to roll out of the place you called home for almost 2 years. You didnt know how long you sat there or when the brothers got home, you had long dried of tears when the knocks came rapping on the old wooden bedroom door. You quickly walk into your bathroom hoping whoever it was wouldn't care enough to search further.
"Y/N? Lucifer wants to know when youre starting dinner!"
Of course he'd send them. Too busy to ask you his damn self. Not even bothering to ask why you're home again.
They call your name one more time before turning the knob and walking in. One more strained call of your name leaves their mouth before running footsteps sound down the hall.
They call out to Lucifer saying you left. It's cute, they almost sound panicked.
In hindsight, you probably could have used that panic of the new student as a distraction but you were exhausted. All the tears taking the energy and pulling on your eyelids. You take a moment to try to hide in the bathroom.
You could hear everything, all 7 brothers and the new students' footsteps rushing into your old bedroom.
"Where'd Y/N’s things go?" Mammon asked.
A slap sound echoed against the walls and a yelp. "Obviously, they put them in the suitcase dumbass!" Levi yells.
Still, after everything the cruel names at Mammon make you want to resort to violence.
"Wait so Y/Ns leaving!?" Asmo almost shrieks.
"Why?" Satan asks
The bathroom doorknob jiggles and a part of you wants to lock it with a charm but then they'll know youre in here.
Hesitant footsteps walk in and your heart sinks.
A shakey voice calls out, "Y/N I know you’re in here please come out so we all can talk." Lucifer says.
Lucifer, avatar of pride, shaking at the thought of you leaving? No, impossible, can't be.
But maybe? His breath gets just barely shakier and you step out of hiding. Tear streaks and raw cheeks are on display. You put on a brave face but it was obvious you were hurting.
“What?” You ask, trying to seem unbothered by the intrusion but you just sounded defensive.
“What? Seriously? Do you have nothing to say to us Y/N?”
You carefully walk around the group and clutch onto your suitcase handle, “Why should I give any of you an explanation when none of you have had a real conversation with me for months? Why should I owe any of you anything?”
"What are ya talkin' bout, Human?" Mammon asks.
You look up into his eyes and you can tell he's not happy about this decision. But they could have stopped this. It's not like you were asking them to only care about you. Or to ignore their lives. You just wanted them to see you.
You wanted Luci to check on you at night when you're studying and bring you a snack. You wanted to have a baking night with Beel where he'd eat all the batter before it even made it to the oven. You wanted Satan to read you to sleep. Or for Mammon to sit on your bed whining that studying sucks and that he shouldn't have to because of his new money-making scheme.
It's not a lot to ask for Asmo to do your makeup and have a weekly spa day like you used to. Or for Belphie to still take comfort in you and sleep on your lap during movie nights. And Levi never needs a player two these days. You wanted them to love you again.
So you’re just left, not even cast out. Just invisible. But now that they see you…you’re mad.
It took you to almost leave and now they're upset. Almost begging for an answer.
"What am I talking about? None of you have had a genuine conversation with me in months. You all want to be around the new student but did any of you realize that I was being pushed away? Did any of you realize that you stopped caring where I went every night? I tried to talk to you about it but I just got talked over. And at one point, I just gave up. I'm not an exchange student anymore. I came back and I can leave. So I will."

You clench your fist around the suitcase handle so hard I might just break it.
Lucifer steps closer to you and the others stood behind him, “You can’t just leave, Y/N. You’re the human ambassador, you have a job here.”
You scoff, “Is that all you care about? How this will look on your reputation, no, on Diavolo's reputation? I should’ve expected that.”
Lucifer's eyes widen and for a second he looks…scared? But his face quickly goes blank.
“I’ve already made arrangements with Barbatos and Diavolo for me to leave so if you think that argument with somehow persuade me you're wrong. Now, if you’ll excuse me I have to go.”
“No, you can’t!”
Your head snaps back and you see Levi pushing passed Lucifer, “You can’t leave!”
You scan his face, trying your hardest to look indifferent but you can feel it slipping. “Why?”
“We didn’t mean do! We thought you didn’t want us smothering you so we backed off. I’m so so sorry.”
There the last of your indifference goes. “What are you talking about?”
"This is my fault." All the brothers turn to face the door and reveal the exchange student. None look nearly surprised enough by this confession.
They twiddled their thumbs and look to the floor. Even though they look so small, them trying to see innocent boiled your blood just a bit.
“What do you mean?” You ask.
"Remember when we had that conversation during our studying session? How you were saying it was getting annoying to have to be guarded all the time and not have alone time?"
You tentatively nod waiting for them to continue. Satan picks at his cuticles and Beel looks oddly nervous.
"Well I told them that, and at the time I didn't know you didn't mean it. Not totally at least and then…" they trail off.
"So we gave you more privacy…and freedom," Belphie says something for the first time
You step back to look at all of them, " So you're telling me that one one-off comment I made amongst all the times I said how much I loved all of you and how you didn't need to change…made you treat me like a ghost?"
"It hurt, I think that's why we never listened…we were hurt," Beel says.
"We were all hurt." your eyes look up into Asmo’s champagne eyes," And we should've asked, especially after all you've done and all we've been through. We're so so sorry." He wraps his arms around you but you remain stiff, unsure what to think.
Asmo releases you and you see Lucifer looking at you again, “We are sorry.”
You never thought you'd see the day Lucifer actually apologized for something.
"But-what about Lucifer's door? I used to be able to get in but it won't let me in. And Levi, you never ask me to play anymore. Beel, you share your food with them, you never do that. Satan you've been asking them for help pranking Lucifer. It doesn't make sense."
Lucifer steps closer to you and you look into his beautiful crimson eyes, they soften when they meet yours. "Mammon," his eyes shift to the demon and glares, "found out that if he brings an item that means enough to you it unlocks my door."
"Like those voice unlock diaries?" You ask without remembering you’re talking to a bunch of demons. They all look at you in confusion.
"I guess I forgot to inform you, love. I've been trying to find another spell that would work but nothing does unless you want to prick a finger every time you want to enter."
You look to the others, hoping they'll explain your other questions.
"Lucifer wouldn't suspect them, besides you said you didn't want to be involved if itd affect your relationship…and they would," Satan said.
"They've been helping me beat the level we got stuck on. You gave up but I didn't. I'd like to play it with you but it got boring." Levi grumbles.
You look to Beel, "You said I had to get better at sharing. Im trying." He whispers and…you did say that, didn't you?
“But what about Belphie usually you sleep in my room or on me. You haven’t been? Or Mammon, you’re always distant when you would go out with me, you never hang out with me anymore. And Asmo, you never invite me over for makeovers or spa days like you used to.”
Belphie looks into your eyes sadly, “You haven’t been home for a couple of months, I sleep here a lot.”
“More like every night,” Levi grumbles.
“Mammon?”
“If ya didn’t want to be smothered I thought you wouldn’t want me around since I’m ya know…always around.”
Asmo wraps his arms around you out of nowhere, startling you a bit but you can’t help but melt into the affection “I didn’t want to ignore you! You’re my beautiful Y/N! But they said you probably wouldn’t wanna do our spa days anymore.”
You slowly step away, all the new information sinking in and your bones chill a bit. “You all took one comment and used it to isolate me so far to the point my heart is broken and I almost left my home. This was a misunderstanding and I know that but you all should have known better. This will not be easy to fix.”
“We’ll do whatever it takes to make it up to you Y/N. “ Satan says and they all, including the exchange student, nod.
You bite your lip nervously and scan all of their eyes. "You should've asked." You hesitate for a second, “But I’ll stay if you won’t do that shit again.”
A chorus of ‘We promise's fill the room and you can feel parts of your heart pull together but it will be a while before it’s whole again.
"Does this mean I don't have ta avoid Y/N anymore?" Mammon asks.
Involuntarily your lips curl up, "No Mammon, you don't."
He lets out a groan and pulls you into his arms, "Finally! I missed ya."
He goes ridged and pulls back, quickly backtracking his words, " I-I mean not like MISSED ya just like I dont like when I can't do my job and I couldn't-"
"Mammon?" You cut him off.
"Yeah?"
"I missed you too." And pull him back into the hug before he could say more.
“Hey! We missed Y/N too!” Asmo whines and pulls me into his arms, inevitably bringing Mammon with me.
All the brothers, including the ever-composed Lucifer, join in for the hug, and for the first time in months there's laughter in the House of Lamentation.
_______
Mammon, Belphie, and Levi have fallen asleep on your bed, Beel was left sitting asleep on the floor after a TV marathon. Lucifer had reluctantly gone back to his office and Satan had gone back to his room with Asmo getting his beauty sleep in his room. You had called Barbatos earlier to tell him you were no longer leaving.
You sigh as the credits roll once again and look to your bed from the desk chair your sat on. Despite the pleas from the brothers you didn't really wanna be suffocated in a cuddle pile. With no room left on your bed, you turn off the TV and head to the living room.
Opening the doors you see the other exchange student sitting on one of the couches hunched over and clutching a mug.
Taking in a deep breath you wondered if you were mad at them or just mad at what happened. As you look at them you come to the realization it's both. They didn't have the right to speak for you and pretend for months that they were innocent every day you saw each other at school. When you would tell them the brothers were avoiding you, how much it hurt. It may have started innocently but they took advantage of it.
With determination in your steps, you approach them and their eyes look up at you. A heavy breath leaves their lips and they almost look pitiful from the guilt in their eyes.
"Y/N… I didn't want to interrupt but I'm so sorry."
You sit in an armchair next to the couch and level with them, "You're sorry?"
They nod and you scan their face for a second, "What exactly are you sorry for?" You ask.
"I'm sorry for telling them, I know it wasn't my place."
"So you aren't sorry for pretending it wasn't your fault that they were avoiding me? You aren't sorry for telling Asmo I didn't want spa days anymore? Or taking advantage of the time they didn't spend with me?"
They look at you shocked and frozen. They flounder for a while but you don't give them time to find an excuse.
"I don't really care why you did it. If you ever try to separate me from them again they won't take it lightly anymore and neither will I. It would benefit you to remember that they are seven of the most powerful demons and I am not just a human. We aren't friends and I do not value your company anymore. You betrayed my trust and used me. Don't do it again, this is a special opportunity so don't waste it."
You rise from your chair leaving them behind, scared and guilty. You forget about sleeping on the couch, not wanting to be around them after all your anger surfaced the more you spoke.
As you got back to your room to see four of the boys in your room you decide that a cuddle pile sounds like exactly what you need after these past six months.
Climbing in bed Mammon wraps his arm around your waist, holding himself to your back and you grab Levi's hand. If you make any more contact you worry he may implode. You sigh and relax into the affection you so desperately missed and you can feel more of your heart piece back together.
And if in the morning you see the new student eating breakfast alone and Lucifer smirking you don't question why.

So @missroro wanted someone to write where she’s Jake sister and mated with tsu’tey and is the fun aunt so here it is
It’s just gonna be some Headcannons some drabness here and there
And I’ll make a part 2 to this we’re u track the kids how to surf
You went on the mission with Jake obviously but you were already a scientist Jake was just replacing your dead brother therefore you both have avatars now
Why did they need 2 sullys that was unanswered
You haven’t spoke to Jake for years so it was lowkey kinda awkward
Norm worked with you so he was familiar with you while in your training but Jake he was gonna take done getting used to
Now even though u and Jake weren’t as close as you used to ur didn’t matter he was still over protective over you
When u guys got off the ship and you waited for him as u were walking off someone catcalled at you (u can make up a person if u want) Jake do a whole 360 and was about to kick some ass then you grabbed his wheel chair and pushed him through the building saying “no Jake not today not today”
While he was getting the military introduction you were setting up in the lab taking a look at your avatar then looking at your brothers you missed tommy but atleast jake was here
OKAY IM DONE BUILDING THE PLOT
so when ur in your avatar and jake get chased by a thanthor (I think that’s what there called correct me if I’m wrong) you go after him you still cared about your brother
While he tried to kill the many animals you stopped him by saying “this isn’t the marines Jake were in a different planet and were not superior here okay?”
Then neytiri came in at saved y’all’s asses and went to the village when tsu’tey and some other hunter of the clan came you couldn’t help but stare he was very attractive
When you were in the home tree there were all less rough with you like they were Jake
And instead of neytiri teaching you there was it was tsu’tey you grew close to him fond of him and even loved him
Now of course Jake knew he was your brother so he teased you about it every single day and you swear your goona cut his eyes out but you teased him abt neytiri
Tsu’tey took you somewhere the night u became one of them he knew it was wrong he as supposed to marry neytiri but his heart tugged at you and he took you to a different way they see ewya and mated with you
Okay now the war you all fought hard and long you tried to save tsu’tey but he told you “ewya has called me home my love she will one day too” and he died
Now Jake was your rock your armor so you cried to him for days weeks until u felt mood swings, throwing up on hunts with neytiri then she took you to her mother “you are with child both of you” you and neytiri looked at each other crazy but started laughing
You gave birth a few weeks after neytiri but it wasn’t one baby after you thought u we’re done the pain came right back and it was another child a boy and a girl
So you raised your children along with jakes you were silly fun and other things
When you all had to leave your children had always been curious people so they were excited to meet new people and new ways
But it didn’t go as planned Ronal grabbed you sons tail and you snarled at her Jake grabbed your shoulder as a way of saying STFU
But as Jake was hard in his children you were always there for your children and his they came and cried to you if he was being to harsh or too cold you told them don’t worry about it and once they slept you would find your brother
Your brother been afraid of you since your were kids and he still is even if he is tutok mato so you told him off enough to wake up the camp his wife heard nodding at your words and Jake just sat there silent bc he knew you would fucking kill him if he talked back
But you would all have play date and take the children to be children besides Jake treating them like soldiers
When Neteyam got shot you saved him just in time sending Lo’ak to get things from the sea that could help him
Jake never let you forget that he cherishes you and thanks ewya for you every single day because not only did you save his child you saved him

I am begging you, watch Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts.
This show is so slept on, but lemme tell you - it’s good. The show has a plethora of good racial, queer and neurodivergent representation, and it’s just good.
Legit none of the main characters are white. We have Kipo, the main, who is half-Black and half-Korean (ignore her pink skin) and her crew Benson and Wolf, who are both Black. Benson’s love interest is Latino/Asian. In fact, if I’m correct, the most important white character in the entire show is the main antagonist for season 3.  Edit: why the hell did I write black twice.
(Spoilers in this paragraph) A side character, Asher, who is in seasons 2 and 3, is canonically non-binary. I can’t remember if their pronouns are used in-show, but the creator confirmed it on Twitter. On top of this, Benson’s love interest I mentioned? Yeah, his name is Troy, and he’s canonically pansexual. On top of this, Benson actively comes out in an episode where Kipo asks him out; “I like you as a friend...because...I’m gay!” Very sweet episode.
While there are no canonical neurodivergent characters, Kipo is heavily adhd-coded. Wolf has clear trauma from her “family” and the abuse she went through. The show tackles racism (in a way), abandonment, betrayal, found family and healed trauma from families.
Now the plot. The story is a refreshingly original tale of Kipo, a girl that lived in an underground city her whole life. This is because “the surface” has become overrun by “mutes”, animals that have doubled, tripled, quadrupled or plus in size. They can also think, talk and scheme - and they hate humans. However, when Kipo is thrown to the surface with no hope of getting back home, she has to work with what she’s got - which is a small but angry Wolf and a flaky but loyal Benson. And a whole lot of mutes that would like her head on a stick.
Last thing - the cast is actually pretty star-studded. Kipo is played by Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko Miyashiro, The Boys - Glimmer, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power - Katana, Suicide Squad). Seasons 1 and 2 antagonist Scarlamange is played by Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley, Downtime Abbey - The Beast, Beauty and the Beast - Alexander Lemtov, Eurovision; the story of Fire Saga). And Dave is played by comedian Deon Cole, who was also in Black-ish at a point. Edit: probably the biggest name, at least to me, is the side character Lemieux, portrayed by Grey Griffin (Azula - Avatar, The Last Airbender, Moon and Jackie - SVTFOE, Ice Queen - Adventure Time, Masha - The Owl House, and many more).
Honestly, this show is so good. Please please please give it a shot. If you like Amphibia, The Owl House, Hilda or SPOP, watch it.
Okay final edit I promise: The soundtrack fuckin slaps. Apologies to everyone in the tags pointing out that I missed it

Lopez, Walker, and Mansk had to hold Paz,so she didn't kill the other's,whom she was cussing at in Spanish, yelling at them to take their Fucking hands off her kids
She didn't recognize anyone at first until Quaritch laid eyes on her
"....Paz...is that you,Sugar" Quaritch asked in a surprisingly soft, disbelieving tone
She just stared at him,her brain slowly making out the features, till she heard him,the others had let her go
"Miles.. is.. w-wha-How..." She asked, slowly getting more pissed
"yeah in the flesh-well.. sort of" smiling slightly, when he leaned down to her height.
"HOW" was all she said to him,the other's had let go of the kids, who were watching with upset and worried expressions
The recoms were watching, amused and waiting to see the fiesty,spit-fire attituded Latina's reaction.
Quaritch closed his eyes and sighed slightly "Project Phoenix,we had... Avatar bodies uploaded with.. our memories... just in case-like backup bodies" he muttered knowing she was pissed
Finally it hit her full force, she punched him in the chest full force, rage fueling it as well.
She started screaming at him and calling him the worst Spanish and English insults she could come up with.
Asking why he hadn't told her,how bad it had been to raise their baby thinking he would never see his daddy again, how she couldn't sleep worth a shit for the first year because the bed was lonely.
The kids slunk back except spider who piped up "Mami... What going on.."
She calmed down enough to tell Spider about Quaritch but since the kids were back in recom hold, well sort of,they didn't call it in or cuff the kids.
Quaritch quietly asked once everything was settled, the kids sitting and talking to the recoms,Lyle getting the video off the flashdrive now "The other 2... They aren't yours like Miles is? Right"
Paz told him that Lo'ak was biologically Jake and Neytiri's and Kiri was Grace's daughter, they were only her's sort of by choice.
In the end the fight did happen but quaritch got Paz and Spider behind him and they were taken "Prisoner"
Quaritch had threatened Ardmore when she suggested torturing his woman and son
She backed off, only assuming he would use the personal angle,he wasn't he just wasn't letting the bitch hurt them when he just got them back.
Spider got to sleep on the couch in the recoms apartment like area,Paz let Quaritch believe she was sleeping on the couch too, till and hour after they all went to sleep
She went to Quaritch's room and crawled in Bed with him and snuggled up to his chest,he had smirked and teased her a little before snuggling against her, now, muh smaller body.
Paz and Spider always teased the recoms as the moved through the forest to the Banshee mountain
Spider got scared by a scary story Lyle told and asked to sleep with Quaritch and Paz that night
He slept curled up to Paz's chest and his back against Quaritch who's tail was limply laid over them as well as his arm
After they got their Banshee's Paz rode with Quaritch,Spider with Aunt Z-Dog.
Will have to make a part 2 to this very sorry it is so short but will finish and work more on other stories

Make the Bond - Pt. 2
Tumblr media
Summary:  Unexpectedly, your life is flipped upside down when a waterlogged stranger washes ashore in your village. Hostile, nasty, and unable to speak the language, he makes for a headache of a combo. But something inside tells you not to give up on him, that he's capable of learning and change. But how are you supposed to trust this yellow-eyed stranger when you suspect there's more to him than he's letting on? Not to mention the rumors of a dangerous avatar on the loose....
A/N: ao3 ver.
Part Two of ? Part One Part Three
- Chapter 2 - Like a Baby
The alien slept through the night. The crowd had dispersed sometime before daybreak, the novelty of a stranger wearing off, and by the time the sun broke across Polythemus, a young warrior had entered the tent to retrieve you. The Tsahik and Olo'eyktan had decided the stranger's fate, the warrior told you, and he would watch the alien while you were gone. One look at the young man and you had a feeling that, should the man wake and wreak havoc, there wasn't much the boy could do to stop him.
You left the Tsahik's tent, a nervous pit in your stomach. Whatever your father decided, you would abide by, but it didn't feel right to cast off the man into the unknown, to leave him in the brutal jungle to fight for himself. He was still so, so weak. That nasty gash on his back, the one that had coated your palms in coppery blood, would have to take several more moons to heal.
At your father's pod, the curtain guarded the entryway for privacy. You could see shadows cast on the walls from the fire, still as stone. You weren't sure if that boded well, but you pushed the flap open and ducked into the tent.
"Mama, Papa." You greeted, waving your hand off your forehead.
No indication that your father recognized your presence, which stung though not particularly underserved. Impassive, he stared hard into the flickering coals your mother must have used to divinate Eywa's will. Between them was an empty gap that served as your seat. It was positioned conveniently so that one parent sat on each side, prepared to swipe at you if you made any move of retreat. Not that you would try. Your mother watched you sit, almost as impassive as your father if not for the twitch of her brow. Of your parents, your father was the more stoic. He could calm the clan with a single wave, and direct his warriors with an incline of his head. His silent power commanded respect and soothed the masses. Now it pushed you further on edge. Why had neither your father nor your mother spoken? It had been hours that they had been talking, tucked away from the rest of the camp. Was this silence part of your punishment? It was better to pass their judgment now than to make you wait, fingers pinching the tops of your thighs to ground your anxious soul back to reality. The air was thick, choking you, stealing your breath from your lungs. The tips of your toes tingled with the reverberations of your heart against your ribcage, dull shocks that made your fingers tremble. Your mother watched your father, your father watching the fire. You looked from one to the other, the swish of your tail growing more insistent. Finally, he looks up. His expression is drawn and tight.
Olo'eyktan exhaled heavily, words of reckoning hovering in the air like a bow drawn taught.
"My daughter. It seems you have caused quite a stir once again."
You smiled weakly at him. "Never on purpose, Papa. I do not wish to bring trouble to the clan. It seems to find me nevertheless."
Your father stifled a huff that you could have mistaken for a laugh, patting your knee. It was an uncommon sign of affection from him, perhaps even an extended olive branch. You were rarely close like this. As Olo'eyktan, your father's duties were to the village first which meant you had to occupy yourself. Many days had passed where you had explored the corals yourself as a young Metkayina warrior while your father tutored the young sons of councilmen and grandchildren of elders. But at this moment, you felt connected, father and daughter rather than Olo'eyktan and clan member. The tension melted from your body.
"Such troubles make you strong, daughter. And it is this strength that you must rely on in the future. Tsahik and I have spoken." Your father tilted his head to your mother. "Eywa has brought this stranger to us for a reason. Our fates are intertwined and so we will allow him to stay,"
The relief was instantaneous, pulses of waves washing over you. You had not expected this decision. The anger of your mother had been mighty when she stormed from Tsahik's tent. It had crackled and filled the room like lightning, electrifying you and the room. So mighty, in fact, that you would have assumed the stranger's future was exile or death. You knew your father considered the dangers that could come to the village if the man stayed and he had allowed his residence anyway. You wondered what signs Eywa had given your mother to help her see beyond her fury.
"Papa," you said weakly, clasping your hand around his forearm. He held up a hand, stopping you.
"If he is to stay, he must support the village. We will not expend resources on a layabout. You will teach him to hunt, fish, and swim like us. His actions and words will be your own, and you will be held accountable for his transgressions. He does not speak our language. You must teach him this, too."
Some of your excitement flickered. Teaching the avatar from nothing was a monumental task. You weren't sure if the stranger even wanted to learn or if he'd make a break for it once his ailments had healed. But your mother had interpreted a divine message, and it was not your place to deny the will of Eywa, the Tsahik, or Olo'eyktan. With a shaky breath, you accepted the conditions. You could teach the foreigner, show him the beauty and secrets of your home, and hope that he was receptive to it and that he kept his head down and followed your instruction.
Almost as if he could sense your thoughts noise erupted across the pods from the stranger's tent. Caterwauling split the air as bodies rushed past Olo'eyktan's tent. Your father leaped into action immediately, with you close behind. Eywa, you thought. He couldn't make things easy for me, could he?
You crossed the walkways faster than you thought possible, weaving through startled children chattering elders. Figures flashed across the tent wall, darkening as they neared the tent wall and then thump. The figures tumbled into the wall sending surrounding clanfolk off balance as the walkway reverberated. The flap of the tent fluttered and you used the opportunity to duck inside, nearly missing a blow that would have landed square in your shoulder. F
Four Metkayina warriors were trying to wrangle the stranger to the ground, screeching like banshees. Two were posted at each arm, attempting to press his jerking shoulders to the floor, while two more were trying to lash his legs together with a leather tie. The man was hissing - no - snarling. His canines flashed against the light of the hot coals, and his pupils dilated into vicious slits. Beneath taught skin, powerful back muscles rippled. He looked feral, wild, a cornered predator.
"Let him go!" You urged the warriors, pulling hard at one of the warriors. The man barely moved, diving into the fray.
A shadow fell across the doorway, and five heads turned to look at your father. He didn't say anything, didn't need to say anything, and a flick of his fingers sent the four warriors off the snarling stranger, melting into the shadows in the corner. Your alien immediately crouched into a defensive position once he was released, muscles coiled with lethality. His golden eyes shifted between the warriors in the corner to your father, hesitating on you before going back to the warriors. They were like beacons, changing color in the sunlight that trickled past your father's form.
"Leave us." your father directed.
The four warriors shuffled out of the tent and the man watched them leave like a predator. The tip of his tail ticked, ears inclining towards the edges of the tent, where whispers had erupted at the warriors' departure. Your heart hammered against your ribs, singing from the adrenaline. You pressed a hand to the flat of your stomach to catch your breath. Though the situation was cooling down, you still felt flushed and shaky, your body in the throes of fight or flight. You'd had this man as your ward for less than a minute before chaos had erupted. If he wreaked this much havoc in the minutes he was awake, what would it be like to train him, to teach him?
The flap to the tent fell closed and darkness engulfed the room again as your father crossed the tent's threshold. The only light came from the coals slowly dying in the center of the pod, reflecting off of the stranger. The sweat on his skin gave him an ethereal glow, like an angel of death and fire. He looked even more dangerous now. He had no weapons and had to be hindered by his wounds, but the tension between the three of you was palpable. You knew better than to underestimate him.
"Sit, daughter," Your father commanded, pressing you to the ground with a hand on your shoulder. How he could remain this calm, this controlled, was beyond you. Seasons of being a leader had hardened him, but your father faced a threat he had never encountered before. Did he not feel the same bile of anxiety rising in your throat? Did his folded hands not carry the tremor that yours did?
The stranger was crouching, preparing to strike - no. You took a shaky inhale. No, he was only mirroring you, folding his knees beneath him. Your father's placating manner had eased the tension in the air, and somehow communicated the intention the two of you had in being here. You lifted your eyes from the man's figure to his face, your breath hitching. His eyes were on you, watching you. Your heart throbbed in your chest, an unfamiliar rhythm. Eywa, you couldn't decode the look in his hooded eyes but it felt foreignly delightful all the same, like bloodlust but warmer. It also frightened you, having to channel such passion. It was impossible, you decided, to teach him anything. This man was not built for teaching but for bloodlust, for ripping out his enemy's heart and holding it in his fist.
Your father's voice startled you out of your thoughts and brought you away from the trance of the avatar's eyes.
"If you are to stay here, you cannot cause harm to the village folk. They have opened their hearts and homes to you. You disrespect them."
Those slitted yellow hues turned to Olo'eyktan. His ears flicked, signaling that he had heard, but did not speak.
"You may not understand me now, but in time you will. My daughter will show you our way. We will welcome you here as long as you follow the rules of our clan," Your father smoothed a hand over your hair. "Do not fear, my daughter. He will not harm you. You are beneath Eywa's guidance. Our fates intertwine. I must leave now, or the people will grow restless with questions." Your father slowly rose to his feet, making his way to the tent entrance.
"You are leaving me here? Alone?" You hissed indignantly, a spike of panic shooting through you. "Father, it took four warriors to restrain this man. I could not possibly-"
"He carries no malice in his heart, only fear, as you do. If he had such a desire to kill you, I'm sure he would have done so already." Your father inclined his head, smiling softly at you. "Strong heart, daughter."
He smiled at you last time, eyes turning to the stranger one last time before he rose to his feet, straightened the holster on his thigh, and left. The flap rippled behind him, the last vestige of his presence.
And now you were alone. With someone you were sure was ready to pounce on you. Though the idea couldn't be farther from what you wanted to do, you knew you had to turn and face him, introduce yourself or establish some kind of trust. You tried to steady your racing heart, and fix an expression of pleasantness across your face. You attempted to command the energy of the room as your father had, but it was too impossible, too difficult, and this entire situation was too -
A thump shook the tent, rattling the pots and dried herbs that hung on its walls. Prepared to fight off an assailant, you whipped around and found the stranger spread across the floor, one elbow bracing him. His fingers grappled with the smooth surface of the tent floor, clutching at the stretched skin in agony. He was flushed and glistening with sweat, markedly paler than he had been just minutes earlier, his breath rushing from his mouth in hot pants. At first, you weren't sure what was wrong. He'd been fine moments ago, ready to burn the village under his wrath. Now he was sickly, just as frail as when you had pulled him from the ocean waters. You rushed to the man's side, pressing cool fingers to his brow that had become flushed and blisteringly hot with fever. A groan erupted from low in his throat, ears pressing flat against his skull. Then you noticed the blood seeping through the coral weed your mother had applied to the wounds on his back, which meant the salt flower, which should have crystalized the slash and prevented infection and further bleeding, had ripped open in the struggle with the warriors. Smears of blood were on the floor where the man had wrestled back.
You tried to calm yourself, and focus on what you could do to fix this situation as best you could. You weren't good with injuries at the best of times, preferring your time out in the water exploring the plants and animals that were still alive. First, replace the bandaging and crystalize the wound. There was still salt flower and coral weed left over from the previous night, tucked neatly into the corner beside the used bowl of paya juice and you grabbed as much of it as possible, snatching the pail of fresh water that your mother had used to wash away the blood before, too. Slowly peeling away the wrappings on his back, the sight of the wound made your stomach roll. Your clan didn't see battle wounds often. The extent of the Tsahik's patients were children that had caught a cold and needed verbal root for their cough, fishermen that had knicked themselves with their hooks, or older children who had wrestled without knowing their own strength. The wound, you thought, was completely out of your skill set. It was bruised purple around the seams, dark with wet blood.
The man spat and hissed as you poured cold water across his back, cursing, you assumed, in his native language. You tried to brace him for when you applied the salt flower, smoothing your fingers over his shaking shoulders and whispering soothing words. You wondered if he would need thread through the gore, which neither you nor your mother had done before. Na'vi healed quickly, with a naturally strong immune system from the fats and vitamins in the sea life and fruit consumed. Even still...
"I need to treat it. It will only be a moment of pain," You stuttered, trying your best to soothe him when you could hardly help yourself.
The man said something you couldn't understand, curling his hands into fists. Something twitched against the corner of your ankle and you looked down between your legs. A dark blue tail brushed your foot, slowly curling around your ankle. You didn't know if the alien knew his body was betraying him like this, seeking subconscious comfort, but you turned back to your work anyway.
You tried to apply the flower gently, but there was no way to minimize the pain of an antiseptic. The man cried out, shuttered, struggled, but he was still weak and his strength was divided. Minutes slid by painfully, the petals tossed to the side in favor of the coral weed bandage. Eventually, the man fell into unconsciousness. Treating his lacerations became much easier after that and you fell into a rhythm as you applied the salt, lathering the thick white paste along the diagonal gashes. Your touch was gentle as you wrapped the wound in clean coral weed, stashing the dirty bundle away to be washed and treated later.
You tended to him then for the next few hours, swiping a cold cloth across his forehead to cool his fever, and dripping pulp into his mouth to keep his energy. He was still as he slept, almost unnaturally so like he had been trained to take up as little space and make as little noise as possible.
You couldn't help but admire him as he lay there. Though the stranger was alien, he was still handsome in a way you were not used to. His face was the most relaxed it had been since he had first washed up in the sand, strong jaw and hollowed cheeks, lips that parted with warm breath. Broad shoulders led to a tapered waist hidden behind odd, rough bottoms and a rope that didn't look quite like leather tied around his hips. He was strong, muscle built with intention rather than a product of his work. Long fingers tapered into thick knuckles, bruised from slamming into the Metkayina warriors' mouths. He was starkly different from the boys you were raised with, built and trained, you assumed, to be lethal, a killer. Now he looked like a sleeping child, an air of innocence behind his lax expression. You brushed your fingers just in front of his mouth, feeling the puffs of air. He was cozy against the floor, sleeping soundly from his exhaustion.
Your eyes began to droop and you abruptly snapped them open. It had been almost 24 hours since you'd last slept, not to mention the crest and fall of your adrenaline and the fishing you'd done all day prior. Sleep sounded good, pleasant, but you couldn't sleep because you had to watch him, was assigned to do so...
You sat up quickly. The tent was black, the coals of the fire long dead, and the only light you had to go by was the bioluminescent plant light that seeped beneath the tent flap. Rubbing your eyes, you pushed yourself onto your elbows and waited for your vision to adjust to the lack of light. What time was it? Had you fallen asleep? Your head felt thick, thoughts coming too slowly to your brain. Something felt off about the darkness in the tent, but you couldn't place what it was. You didn't often sleep in the Tsahik's tent. That wasn't the issue, though. What was it?
Something brushed against your leg, whisper soft, from your right. It curled around your calf, tickling the heel of your foot. Your head turned, searching the pools of shadow until -
A pair of glowing eyes stared at you from the black. Yellow eyes.
"O-oh," You squeaked, coiling in on yourself. "Y-you're awake."
The eyes blinked at you, a constellation of glowing blue stars trailing between them, down a broad neck, shoulders, and chest.
"Are you...hungry? Thirsty? How do you feel?"
Silence. Ugh. How were you supposed to communicate with this guy if he didn't speak a lick of -
"Food."
Your ears pricked up.
"Food?"
"Food."
So he spoke some Na'vi.
You searched blindly through the dark for fruits that were left earlier that day. You sliced them open, chopping them into bits and serving them to him in the same wooden bowl you'd fed him the pulp while he lay unconscious. He took it, devouring the meat of it within seconds like a ravenous animal. Okay then. You went on like this for a bit, chopping fruits, serving them to him, and eventually passing the entire fruit, which easily split open in his hands.
You watched him eat, curiosity building. He didn't seem so threatening in the dark now, with lidden eyes and juices dripping from his chin. He ate so intently, filling his belly. He smelled sweet, like the fruit, but the sterile clinical smell that had you wrinkling your nose when you'd first met him had faded, too. He smelled of the earth now, salty and windblown, with a tang of iron.
"What's your name?" You asked abruptly, feeling a bit bashful when those eyes turned onto you. You hoped he understood. If you couldn't even get a name from him, you weren't sure how you could communicate.
"Name?" You asked again, pointing to yourself and telling him yours.
He stared at you, eyes following your lips as they usually did when he tried to understand what you were saying. His own mouth moved as he repeated your question, sounding out the curves and ridges of the words. Then he straightened, clearing his rough through.
"Quaritch."
"Cor...ish..."
"Quaritch." He growled.
"Ah, sorry! Quaritch."
You smiled at him. "I like it. Quaritch. Nice to meet you."
For the first time, he smiled.

Summary: MC wakes one night to a familiar problem. Someone else is also awake at that hour and he comes to comfort them. A short drabble about MC getting their period for the first time since regaining their human form in the Devildom
Belphegor x afab!MC
CW: MC has a vagina and menstruates. Period content. Blood Mentions.
A/N: Well guys, this is the end of Only Human for the 7 brothers! I appreciate you all reading and following this series!! Let me know if you'd be interested in reading the side characters (Dia, Barb, Solomon, & Simeon) and feel free to request too :) I really hope you enjoy Belphie's! I went all out for his cause it's the last and he's one of my faves. I also headcanon that they each have their own bathrooms. Idk i just feel like that makes sense lol There also had to be one in the attic too right? Cause Belphie was locked up there for quite awhile. So, there's a bathroom in the attic I make the rules here.

Only Human
You had been sleeping soundly when you were awoken by an intense cramping in your lower stomach. The sensation was beginning to mingle into your dreams, causing you to stir awake. You let out a quiet groan as you stretched, bumping the figure that was snoring softly next to you. Oh yeah, you thought. I had a headache earlier so Belphegor convinced me to go lay down with him. The two of you had snuck off to the attic after dinner to get some peace and quiet from the rest of the brothers, and at some point you must have dozed off.
You reached over to feel for your D.D.D, but it was gone. You leaned over the side of the bed to see it had fallen to the floor next to you. Picking it up, you tapped the screen to see that it was around 2:00 a.m. You rubbed your eyes and yawned as you set your phone back down on the bedside table. The attic was dark except for the warm glow of the lanterns that hung above the bed. You sat quietly for a few moments, focusing your gaze on the gentle rising and falling of Belphie’s chest as he slept. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep like this. You smiled, but were cut short at the stabbing pain in your abdomen. Wincing, you hugged your knees to your chest. What the hell do I do? You began to panic, wondering if the small half bath that was in the back of the attic had anything useful to you. Your period had obviously come while you were asleep, and you were in no way prepared. You had just gained back your human form not too long ago, and weren’t expecting to get back to normal bodily functions this soon. Swinging your legs over the side of the bed, you quietly got to your feet and tiptoed across the attic to the bathroom. Belphie was a heavy sleeper, but you really didn’t want to risk waking him up. As you entered the bathroom, you shut the door as softly as you could. There was a small cabinet under the sink, so you pulled it open to check for anything that could be useful. To your surprise, you saw a bottle of painkillers. Grabbing it, you ripped the cap off and tossed a couple of the pills into your mouth. “Thank God. Belphie must have had these with him when he was locked up here.” you whispered to yourself. Now that one problem was taken care of, you had a pretty obvious other problem that needed your attention. You sat down on the toilet, assessing the severity of your situation. Your stomach dropped as you realized the sleep shorts you changed into earlier were now stained red. Shit, I leaked through! You sniffed as tears formed in the corners of your eyes. What should I do? Call Lucifer? Barbatos? No, you didn’t want to bother them at this hour. Maybe Asmo would be your safest bet, as you felt he would be the most understanding out of all of the brothers.
Your thoughts were interrupted as you heard footsteps coming towards the door. Hopping up, you pulled up your shorts again and wiped your eyes. Your hand reached towards the door handle when suddenly it was yanked open and you were staring straight into the wide eyed stare of The Avatar of Sloth. His hair was messy, and the sweatpants he wore were untied and hung just low enough on his hips that you could catch a glance of the waistband of his underwear. “B-Belphie?!” you squeaked as he stepped into the bathroom with you. “MC! Theres…there’s blood…a-and I smell it on you…” his hands shook slightly and he brought them up to rest on your shoulders. “Whats going on? I didn’t…I didn’t do…” his voice trailed off as he met your tear filled stare. “Belphie, no! Of course you didn’t do this.” He let out a sigh of relief as he lowered his head to rest gently against your chest. “Thank Diavolo, holy shit…you scared me.” he murmured. He lifted his head back up, his eyebrows knitted together with worry. “Then what the hell is the blood?? Are you hurt?” You shook your head, blushing slightly. “No, I'm not hurt. I started my period and I don’t have anything…I bled through…” you said, quietly. Belphie’s violet eyes widened. “Your…period?” you nodded, unsure if he quite understood or not. “Do you…know what that is?” you asked. He ran his hand through his navy blue hair as he glanced away. “Yeah, kinda. I read about humans a lot back in the Celestial Realm because Lilith was so interested in them. I also read a lot when I was up here.” he chuckled, rolling his eyes. “I sound like Satan.” You giggled as you shook your head. “Never.” He smiled as he reached out to lace his fingers through yours. “So, what do you need?”
**
As he led you back to the bed, you groaned in embarrassment. The sheets where you had been sleeping had a large spot of blood on them. “I’m so sorry.” you said, covering your face in your hands. Belphie shrugged. “It’s really no big deal. I’m a demon, blood is not out of the ordinary. Let’s take them off and put them in the wash. I think Asmo keeps an extra stash of supplies in the laundry room, too.” He paused as he searched the room for something, “Oh, and take this, It should be long enough to cover you.” You sighed in relief as Belphie found the cardigan he’d been wearing and handed it over to you. “Thank you Belphie, I really appreciate it.” You said gratefully as you pulled the cardigan on. He smiled as you continued to help him remove the sheets from the bed. “It’s fine, I wouldn’t normally do this for anyone but…it’s you so it's okay.” His smile dropped as he glanced down at his feet. “Besides, I owe you a lot of favors.” You finished pulling the last of the sheets off the bed and the two of you quietly made your way downstairs. Thankfully no one was up at this hour, so you didn’t have to explain yourselves. Belphie pushed open the door to the laundry room and you threw the load of soiled sheets into the washer. He slowly added in some detergent and started it up. You could tell he was sleepy, but you were so grateful that he was willing to help you out at this hour. “There. I don’t feel like waiting so let’s just go back to my room to sleep.” You nodded, all of a sudden anxious. “But Beel is there right?” Belphie was reaching into one of the cupboards above the washer. “Yeah, but he’s probably asleep so it’ll be okay.” He opened the cupboard to grab a small box that was hidden towards the back. “Here, this is for you.” He handed the box to you and you saw that it was some pads. You almost cried, how did I manage to get so lucky? “T-Thank you Belphie…seriously, you just saved me.” Belphie yawned, ending it with a small smile. “You’re welcome. If Asmo notices they are gone, I’ll tell him that Mammon found them and sold them. Now come on, let’s head to bed already.”
Once you had taken care of yourself and changed into a clean pair of shorts, you crawled into Belphie’s bed next to him. You were trying to keep as quiet as possible so you didn’t wake Beel who was snoring softly in the bed across the room. You felt arms wrap themselves around your waist and you were surprised that the 7th born hadn’t fallen asleep waiting for you. You yawned as he planted a soft kiss to the side of your head. “Are you feeling better?” he whispered, nuzzling his head into your neck. You nodded. “Yeah, the cramps have mostly gone away.” He hummed, feeling happiness bubble in his chest. “I’m glad I could help.” A few moments of silence passed, and you turned to see Belphie sleeping soundly once more. He really was tired, and yet he did all of that for me, you thought to yourself. You were still smiling when you eventually drifted off to sleep, comforted by the knowledge that peaceful dreams were on their way.

this is also like...9k words, almost 10k...BYE
“Yawntu, come here.” You heard from behind you before feeling a hand settling on the back of your neck. A mouth put itself on the edge of your ear, which twitched at the contact. “Let’s ditch the others and go on a date. Just you and I.”
You turned around to see Neteyam smiling mischievously, as he squeezed your neck gently to get an answer. You could only nod with a smile back as he pulled you away.
“What about a flight, sky girl ? Ready to get beaten again ?” He asked, his hand sliding down to intertwine with yours. Your tail twitched at the contact, tapping at his hip gently.
Your...tail ?
“You okay, yawntu ?”
You tried to look at him only to see a blur. You startled awake, looking up at the same white ceiling of your small room, sweat sticking to your back and your shirt.
It had been a dream again.
You didn’t remember how long it had been already since the day the Sullys had left. A part of you had been left too, back in the forest when he turned his back on you and never looked back.
It was all your fault, you knew that. You broke your heart and his in the process. You were the only perpetrator.
You felt empty and aimless. You barely saw anyone. Norm and Max forced you to work with them, forced you in conversations, forced you to even eat.
Norm was once again coming in to put breakfast on the little table in your room. “He wouldn’t like to see you like this. Please, eat.”
You watched from your bed, stuck in a decision - going back to sleep or getting up. If you slept, that meant you could dream, where you were with them, with him. If you slept, that meant you didn’t feel for a few moments.
Everything had gone to shit. Your life included. You had lost them all, even Spider. Spider who was stuck with a man that had never loved him, with a man so cruel and terrible. Spider who had been your brother for so many years. You prayed to Eywa everyday that he was okay.
Everyday, you thought of the Sullys. Were they okay ? Had they found somewhere to belong ? Were they doing well in a whole another clan with different people and customs ?
(Was Tuk crying ? Was Kiri protected when she got lost in what was around her ? Was Lo’ak not getting into too much trouble ? Was Neteyam... was anyone taking care of him when he was taking care of everyone else ?)
Sometimes, Mo’at would come around and force you out. She would teach you and talk to you. You were glad for her presence, the only remaining link you had with the Na’vi and the Sullys.
You were glad for Norm and Max too.
So you woke up every morning. You went on. You took it day to day. You went back to sleep. And you started it all again, like a machine.
You would get out of your room when you felt okay to. You would see if any of the humans needed your help or if Mo’at had deemed it a day to come see you. You would go along with it. That was your routine, your way of survival.
Even if all you thought about was Neteyam. His drooping shoulders and the defeat in his body. His eyes. His smile. His voice.
So many days and weeks and months later, commotion happened in the lab, Norm in his avatar and Max running out.
You looked curiously. You decided to ask. “Hey, what’s going on ?”
Max stopped. “You should come with us, now.” He pulled on your arm, getting you towards the helicopter. “Bad situation. Jake called us over.”
You felt blood rush in your ears. What had happened that Jake needed to call them over ?
“Kiri had a seizure. He called so we could go and see what is going on. We need to go now.”
You nodded, your heart in your throat.
You barely remembered getting in a seat and buckling up. You barely remembered the flight over. All you saw was water, until there was land. Islands. Until you saw Jake motioning the helicopter down.
You went out last, after Norm and Max, lost in between the new environment and your fear for Kiri. You felt stares on you. You barely paid attention to them.
Jake was talking with them and leading them away, not even noticing you were there until he turned around when you all arrived to their little hut.
His eyes widened, before he pulled you in. “Oh, sweetheart, I didn’t see you there. Thank you for coming.”
You teared up at the hug, at his words. Great mother, how had you missed them all. “Of course. How is she doing ?” Your voice shook, as you looked up at him.
He grimaced, worry all over his face. “She’s unconscious. She had a seizure when she connected to Eywa with the kids.”
Max and Norm had both gone in to try to see what was happening, to connect to Kiri’s brain with their machine. Neytiri was beside Kiri, holding her hand. Tuk was close by too.
A beautiful pregnant Na’vi woman came in, with what seemed healing materials.
“You are Tsahik.” Neytiri hissed, before chasing everyone out. Jake, Max and Norm left to talk. (You would have laughed in any other situation. They were still all scared shitless of Neytiri. Which you understood.)
You watched as the Tsahik worked on waking Kiri up.
Please Kiri, just wake up. Be okay. Be okay. Please.
A few moments later, Kiri opened her eyes and cried as Neytiri comforted her. You sagged in relief, feeling your own tears burning your eyes.
You didn’t try to enter or barge in. You didn’t try to talk to them. You were just relieved to see them all and to see Kiri okay.
“Tsmuke ?” A small voice whispered and then a large hand fell on your arm. You looked up to see Tuk, surprise and happiness in her eyes.
“Hey, Tuk tuk.” You whispered back, your hand reaching up to ruffle her braids.
At this little moment, you heard gasps behind her. Neytiri looked at you with surprise too before a soft smile broke on her face. Kiri started crying even harder before she threw herself at you.
You choked and fell back.
“Kiri ! That fucking hurts, you skxawng !”
“Sorry, sorry.” She sniffled and still held you tight, putting you in her lap in the process. “I just missed you so much. We all did.”
The burning behind your eyes intensified until you couldn’t keep it in anymore. The tears flowed as you hugged her back.
“I missed you too. All of you. So much.” Your voice broke on the words, breaking through your real feelings for the first time in months. “It’s been hard.” A wet laugh came out of you. “But, enough about me. What happened Kiri ? Are you okay ?”
She put some distance to look into your face. “I saw my mom. She was right there. And then...” Kiri sighed, disappointed to have lost the contact. “I don’t know what happened exactly. I was ripped out of the connection and went into a seizure apparently.” She shook her head.
You couldn’t believe it. You were stuck between being happy for her (she had always wanted to talk to Grace, at least once in her life, to be in her presence) and being worried about what happened to her. How could connecting to Eywa put her in this state ?
“Hey, Kiri, I know the seizure was bad but I’m so happy you got to see Grace. How was she ? Did she say anything ?” You asked, holding her hand tight.
She went into it with sparkles and happiness in her eyes about what she looked like and how it had felt to be with her for this short simple moment. You couldn’t help but smile with love for the girl in front of you. Tuk had gotten closer to you too again in the moment, pushing her head on your shoulder (even though her head didn’t fit, not really). Neytiri was looking over the three of you, holding Kiri’s hand the whole time.
You both talked for a few minutes until Norm squeezed your shoulder. “We have to go.”
Pure sadness and pain exploded in your gut at the words. You had felt what could happiness be again for a short discussion, and now you had to leave it all behind again ? You swallowed to keep the bile in but gave a smile to Norm (which looked more like a grimace). “I’ll be there in a minute.”
You slowly got up, Kiri and Tuk following you in the process.
Tuk hugged you, whined at you leaving. “Do you really have to go ? Can’t you stay with us ?”
“I wish I could, Tuk tuk. I really wish I could.” You gently pinched her cheek. “But it’s going to be okay. You’ll come back to the forest at some point and you’ll tell me everything. I’ll be waiting.”
Kiri looked at you and you knew she didn’t believe a word you said. In truth, you didn’t know if they would ever come back and if they did, you knew it wouldn’t be soon, not with Quaritch back.
But no matter how much you wanted to stay, you couldn’t.
“I’ll see you all later, okay ?” You tried to sound strong, when you were really breaking again inside. “And don’t move Kiri ! I’ll go by myself.”
You hugged them one last time. Neytiri softly touched your head for a second and let you go. You smiled at her as much as you could, before you turned around to join Norm and Max out.
Jake hugged you as you left. “Take care.” You nodded. You didn’t look back.
The Tsahik and Olo'eyktan stood near the helicopter, ready to watch you leave. You extended your hand from your forehead downwards in greetings, bowed your head in thanks.
You both felt relieved and destroyed to not have seen Neteyam. Relieved because then you did not have to face the way he wouldn’t look at you. Destroyed because you missed him, because you needed to see him to know he was fine.
As if Eywa had heard you, the moment you stepped one foot in, the moment you slightly turned your head left, he was there. A few feet away. With Lo’ak and others from the sea clan.
He looked at you with wide eyes and you froze. Pain and love blossomed in your chest. It hurt. It hurt to love him so much. You could never stop though. You didn’t even want to.
“What’s happening ?” Max asked, before getting his head out towards Neteyam still looking at you.
Norm sighed. “You should go. Go talk to him. Here’s your chance.”
You were still frozen when Norm’s words entered your ears, but Neteyam unfroze to start moving forward towards you. You shook your head, both at Norm and Neteyam.
He stopped and you saw the words on his lips. “Sky girl”. You shook your head again and gave him a sad smile. His ears twitched down, his tail drooped. You had hurt him again.
You still couldn’t do it though. You hadn’t changed your mind. What were you supposed to say to him when you still felt like your decision was the good one, the best one for him ?
Maybe not for you. But he would understand with time. That was what you told yourself.
You went in the helicopter and watched him become smaller and smaller. You went back to your small room and thought you would just go back to your routine.
If only you had known.
You were strolling through the forest, needing time away alone, when you heard a noise behind you. You looked back, through the trees, but there was nothing.
Your feet continued moving on their own but the tension was clouding your mind. Something was happening. Your fingers closed themselves around the knife you always carried, hidden underneath your shirt.
More noise came from behind you but now also in front of you. You looked to see glimpses of blue.
Those weren’t Omaticayas. They wouldn’t hide and observe you. They knew you.
They weren’t the people you knew who had avatars.
Which only meant one thing. And you weren’t going to go without fighting.
You heard footsteps next to you. You took out the knife and turned, stabbing whoever had tried to approach you.
An unknown Na’vi in military gear gasped in pain at the knife in their side before you got the knife out. Not Na’vi. Avatar. Whatever the fuck they were now.
“You bitch !” The man said, rising his hand to strike you. You ducked under the hand as fast as you could, lessons and reflexes kicking in. You tried to stab him again but a hand wrapped itself in your hair.
It pulled and raised you up. You gasped and moaned in pain, the knife slipped from your hand to the ground. Your feet didn’t touch the ground anymore.
“Well, looks like you learned a thing or two from the Sullys, haven’t you, girlie ?” A voice said as their hand turned you to them.
You had only seen the man in human form in the archives left with the lab. You had learned disgust and hate for this man from as young as you could remember. Quaritch. You hissed at him as best as you could behind the mask.
“And you’ve also learned to be feral. I guess that’s all they’ve been teaching you human kids, huh.”
At the mention of human kids, you hissed even harder through your gasps of pain. His other hand went around your throat while the other stopped pulling on your hair. He could kill you in an instant. Break your neck and end it right there.
You did not care.
“What the fuck have you done with Spider ? You better not have touched him !” Your voice was rough and broken, angry. “Oh, do not worry about that, he’s fully okay. Look, he’s here.”
From behind him appeared Spider, looking unharmed. Relief coursed through your veins. He was okay, nothing had happened.
“Now, I’m not here for a reunion. I’m here because an helicopter left this forest to get somewhere and little Spider here let slip that you may have been on it.” The hand around your throat tightened up. “I want to know where it went, and exactly where.”
It kept tightening and tightening up. You gasped for air, your head started spinning, but you kept looking right into his eyes in defiance. You would never give up the spot. Ever.
“See, I can’t barge in the Omaticayas’s place and get to your avatar friends. We’ll get killed. But you ? You’re the way to Jake Sully. So, you have a choice. I can hurt you or you can tell me.”
The hand stopped and let air go through your lungs. You breathed in as much as you could.
You laughed lightly. “You can go fuck yourself.”
Quaritch smirked at your words and nodded. He tightened up and tightened up. You felt yourself slipping away.
You could hear Spider screaming. “Stop it ! Stop, you’re going to kill her !”
The only thing you saw behind your eyelids as you passed out was Neteyam’s face. I’m sorry.
You woke up jumping, banging your head against something in the process. “Shit !” You yelled out.
You tried to touch the top of your head with your hand, to see if you had a bump, but was stopped. A look down made you realize you had been handcuffed.
Both your hands and feet.
And you realized you were next to a hut on an island. You looked further, you saw a large boat, ikrans, a village. You saw a Na’vi clan on their knees, the military avatars pointing their guns at them while Quaritch was yelling at them, showing a picture on his tablet. Jake.
“The princess finally wakes up. Come on.” You were hauled up by a guy and pulled to the scene.
As you grew closer, you realized Spider was playing translator for him. It seemed like he had gotten nothing from them. This wasn’t the good island nor the good clan. Quaritch stopped when he saw you and turned to you.
“I told you you had a choice. Here it is again. You tell me where the Sullys are or I kill all of them.”
He had told you he would hurt you. You had thought it would be physical. You should have known better from a man like him.
You were forced on your knees and forced to look at the Olo’eyktan and Tsahik of the clan.
“Look at them. Do you want to watch them die ? It’ll be all your fault, you know ?”
Tears grew in your eyes. You could save them, but at what cost ? You saw flashes of the Sullys’ dead bodies in your head. Jake, Neytiri, Kiri, Lo’ak, Tuk...Neteyam.
You couldn’t. Couldn’t. Couldn’t.
“Go fuck yourself.” Your voice was shaking and blood spread in your mouth as you bit your tongue.
The Tsahik’s head was forced on the ground, the gun pointed at her temple.
“Are you sure about this ?” Quaritch asked. You couldn’t answer anymore. “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry...” You kept repeating in Na’vi.
Spider yelled out at Quaritch, forcing him to look at him. “Don’t do this ! They don’t know anything. She won’t tell you a thing either, especially if you kill them. Please, just stop.”
You kept looking into the tsahik’s eyes. If this was to be your fault, you would force yourself to look. You would carry the death in you forever.
“We really going to kill her ?” The man with the gun at her head asked with no emotion.
Quaritch didn’t say anything for a minute. It felt like an hour.
“They don’t know anything. Let’s burn it all.” He said finally and the gun left the tsahik’s temple.
You finally breathed again. You made yourself look at them burn the village. All you felt was rage.
How could they dare come in an innocent clan’s village to destroy everything ? How could he ? For some sort of stupid revenge ? Would a man like him never fucking move on ?
At least, it seemed like Spider got to him, which surprised and disgusted you at the same time. How could he act like he cared now about him when he hadn’t then ?
Quaritch looked back at you and motioned to the guy. “Knock her out. Keep her quiet.”
All you saw was the butt of the gun going down on your head, before you passed out again.
(Tonowari had come around the Sullys’s hut to tell them sky people had attacked with a human boy translating for them and a captive human girl.
“A human girl ?” Jake asked, worried.
Neytiri and Jake both looked at each other, fearing the worst. They both knew who it was but did not want to believe it.
“We have to believe she’ll be okay. She is strong.” Neytiri said, her hand intertwining with Jake’s.
He nodded. How could they tell their kids she had been taken ? How could they tell Neteyam ?)
(He wouldn’t get the chance to know.)
You woke up later in a boat in a corner of what seemed the main control room, in the middle of an unknown crew, your feet unbound, you hands still cuffed.
Spider was sitting next to you. He sighed in relief. “You’re finally awake. You’re scared me there for a minute.”
Your head hurt.
“How are you not even cuffed ?” You mumbled out, straightening up against the wall.
“Tracker’s in my mask. And we’re in a boat full of military men right now, so I guess he hasn’t even thought of cuffing me.”
“But he does me ?” You asked, as you raised your hands to show him. “Spider... what the fuck is going on ? Why were you even translating for the guy ? Why did you tell him I would have been the helicopter ?”
His head hung low, to hide his eyes and his face.
You scoffed at his silence. “And why were the ikrans there ?” You nudged him. “They wouldn’t have known how to do it. Tell me the truth.”
He got up in an instant, pacing. “You don’t know how it was like ! I was left with them, they took me and he told me to just follow them around. And... yes, I told them how to do it. I taught them stuff. What do you want me to say ?”
“I don’t know, Spider ! All I know is it’s been helping them. That’s not your father. That’s a copy of him in an avatar body. And even if it was him, that’s a man who decided that destroying a planet and its people was more important than his own son !” You screamed in frustration.
“And where did answering back take you, huh ? Look, you’re injured, cuffed, prisoner with no way out.” You couldn’t believe your ears at his words. “You’re in the exact same situation, Spider. You may not be injured, but you’re as much a captive as I am. Do not think he cares now. He doesn’t and he never will, not really.” You spat out. “He’ll never care about anything but revenge against Jake.”
You sighed. You were so tired. “All I know is I will never tell him anything. I also know I was worried about you. I’m glad you’re okay.”
He sat down again next to you, shoulder against yours. “I’m sorry... Everything is so confusing. I’m glad you’re okay too.”
You stayed like this for a while. There was commotion at some point, the crew getting busy and you ended up in front of a screen with Spider and an unknown man, Dr Garvin.
The screen showed big beautiful animals swimming through the ocean. “What are they going to do ?” You asked, even though you already knew the answer.
“They are going to hunt the tulkun mother.” Dr Garvin answered bitterly, as if he did not want to be there but had no other choice.
You could only watch as they killed the mother and left the calf to desperately stay with its mother. You wanted to cry. What was the point of all of this ?
“They hunt them. He also wants to trap Jake with this.” Spider whispered to you. You didn’t understand how that would work. “The tulkuns bond with the people. This tulkun is bonded with someone. He’s trying to get them to fight back and get the Sullys through that.”
You didn’t even know what to answer. What else could you have expected from Quaritch ? Of course, since he couldn’t get the answer through you, he would try a trap.
Spider went with Quaritch to go into the tulkun. You stayed in the corner of the room. You debated trying to run for it and jump in the ocean. But where would you even go ?
You weren’t a great swimmer. You were still cuffed. You were okay at survival and fighting, but you were outnumbered by a large amount.
So you didn’t do anything.
Until Spider came back. Until everything became a mess and Lo’ak, Tuk and apparently the Olo’eyktan and Tsahik’s daughter were taken and cuffed at the edge of the boat.
An avatar hauled you up. “What are you doing ?” Spider asked before the man pushed him away, into the wall. “Stay away, she’s going with the others.”
You didn’t try to fight back. At least you would be with Lo’ak and Tuk. You shook your head at Spider. Don’t try anything, dumb ass.
He pulled at your arm until he got you to Quaritch. You heard Lo’ak’s “Sky girl !” and Tuk’s little gasp.
“Here’s some use for you, girlie. You’ll be bait with your little friends.”
He uncuffed you to intertwine your cuffs to the railing. You hissed at him in the process. He didn’t even pick up your attitude, stepping away to talk to Jake. At the same time, you looked over the railing to see the whole sea clan was out.
That was how you would be bait. You got it now.
You couldn’t see Neteyam though, you realized as you narrowed your eyes. Where was he ? What was he doing ?
Lo’ak was the closest to you. “How the hell have you ended up here, sky girl ?” He asked, looking down at you in concern. “Not that I’m not happy to see you. I missed you, but you know what I mean.”
You smiled. “Missed you too, ass. But Quaritch basically kidnapped me and tried to get me to talk. Didn’t work, so now I’m bait with you guys.” You joked. “You okay, Tuk ?”
She nodded and you smiled at her. You looked at the one in between them. A beautiful Na’vi girl with lighter blue skin and beautiful features. “Sorry, we haven’t met before. I’m the human girl, maybe you’ve been told about me. I’ve heard you’re the Olo’eyktan’s daughter.”
“I’m Tsireya. I’ve heard about you from the Sullys and I saw you when you visited Kiri.” She said softly.
“It’s nice to meet you. Even though it would have been better in any other situation than this, right now.” You answered, with a little laugh.
One of the avatar men hit you in the back with their gun. “Shut up !”
You gasped and groaned in pain. Lo’ak yelled out. “Hey ! Watch what you’re doing !” When you saw the man decided to approach Lo’ak, you told the Sully brother to calm down. “It’s fine, Lo’ak. Let’s just shut up and wait.”
“What’s dad doing ?” Tuk asked, her little voice shaking and worried.
Jake was moving forward alone. He was going with Quaritch’s orders. If it went on, he would die. Nothing was going right.
A tulkun rose up from the water and threw itself right unto the boat, a few meters away from you.
“Payakan !” Lo’ak screamed with glee. “Do you know him ?” You yelled over the commotion.
“He bonded with him. He’s soul brother.” Tsireya screamed, explaining to you. You turned to Lo’ak with a laugh. “Well shit, Lo’ak. You’ll thank him, he just saved our asses.”
You tried to get out of the cuffs to no avail as Payakan fought back.
You then heard Tuk yell. “Neteyam !”
Your heart skipped a beat. You hadn’t been able to see him. Was he okay ?
He went over the railing and freed Tuk first.
He hadn’t seen you yet, hidden behind Lo’ak larger body. “Who’s the mighty warrior, huh ?” He laughed and boasted to Lo’ak as he cut his cuffs.
It was only when Lo’ak was freed that he saw you. He froze for a second, before he went right into action.
“What the hell are you doing here ?” He asked hurriedly while cutting your hands free. “No hello, how are you doing ?” You jokingly asked. He simply looked at you with that stare of his, his hands now incapable of not touching you. “I was...kind of taken by Quaritch.”
His eyes turned violent and angry. His stance stiff. He took your chin and raised your face up to see through the mask. He saw the small injuries. He saw the marks around your neck. He felt around you head and you grimaced when he touched the bump.
“You’re hurt.” He stated, grumbled. His eyes still screamed for murder. His hands still traced the contours of your face and neck gently.
“Nothing much, Nete. I’ll be fine. We need to get out of here.”
He nodded. “We need to get Tuk out of there first.”
Lo’ak stopped him. “Tsireya and sky girl, go with her. We have to get Spider.” Neteyam hesitated. “We can’t leave him here !”
Neteyam accepted.
“I’m coming with you guys.”
He shook his head vehemently. “No chance, sky girl. You’re taking Tuk and getting to safety. Now.”
You shook your head back. “I know where to go... kinda. I can help you.” He still pushed you away towards Tsireya and Tuk. You took his hands off. “I’m not leaving Spider and I’m not leaving you. Not again.”
Your eyes searched around for a rifle and you took it. “I can defend myself.” He sighed. “You are all going to kill me one day, I swear.” He then pointed to you and Lo’ak. “You stick to me. No funny business. No risk. We find Spider and we go right away. Understood ?”
You both nodded. This was prime hunter Neteyam speaking, getting into combat.
You stuck close to Neteyam and still showed the way as best as you could, for the little of the boat you had seen.
You all found Spider and fought your way out.
“I’ll distract them ! Go !” Neteyam screamed, as Lo’ak and Spider jumped in the water. You didn’t. “You skxawng, you better get in the water right now, or I’m pushing you in myself.” You still stayed.
“I’m not going without you.” You insisted. “I’ll kill you when we get out of this, sky girl.” You nodded with a smile. “Looking forward to it, Nete.”
You both got out of you cover to shoot and get closer to the water, distracting them in the process. You were both about to toss the guns and jump when you saw one of the avatar men put his gun up in Neteyam’s direction.
You didn’t think.
You didn’t think at all.
A second felt like minutes, hours.
A second changed everything.
Your body moved. You put all of your force into pushing Neteyam out of the way and into the water first.
You felt the bullet pierce your chest. You felt the pain explode in your whole body. You fell in the water backwards.
You did your best to swim out, to get your head above the water. The pain was dragging you down, making it hard for you to stay afloat.
Neteyam rushed to you, as you struggled and gasped for air. You felt like something was wrong with your lungs, a rattling, making it hard to breathe or move.
He pulled you to him, helped you up. “What’s wrong ?” He sounded panicked, kept you close. You wheezed for air. “Got...shot...” You barely managed to say.
“Shit, shit, shit.” He swam as fast as he could to his ilu, sitting you in front of him and getting to land as fast as he could. “You’re gonna be okay. It’s gonna be fine.” He whispered in your ear, supporting your body with his. “I told you to stick to me. I told you no funny business, you skxawng.”
A wet laugh came out of you, wet with your blood. You knew it wasn’t a good sign. Everything hurt. You could only let yourself lay against his chest.
You arrived to a rock, Lo’ak and Spider following behind. Neteyam held you in his arms to settle you down. Jake and Neytiri arrived a few seconds later.
Jake turned you around, saw the exit wound through your shirt, saw the blood. He could only press a hand against his forehead.
“Dad, what ? What is it ?” Neteyam asked, and Jake shook his head.
Neteyam refused to believe it. He held you in his arms. “Sky girl, you’re going to be okay. We’re going to make it out and we’ll go home, okay ?”
You were working harder and harder to even breathe. Darkness was creeping up at the edges of your eyesight. You felt numb. The pain had become simple numbness.
You knew it was over. You could feel yourself slipping away, bit by bit.
“Nete...” You wheezed, trying to lift your hand, to no avail. Your limbs wouldn’t answer anymore. “I never...never told you...”
He shook his head. “You’ll tell me later. You’ll have all the time to tell me. We’ll have so much time, you and I. So much time.” His eyes never left your face, your eyes. “We’ll go hunt, we’ll go fly on my ikran, we’ll keep watch on the rest of the idiots, we’ll slip away at night and look at the stars. We...”
You smiled slightly. You stopped him. “No, need to tell you...now.” You took your last deep breath. “I see...you. Always have. Always...” You whispered.
Neteyam was shaking, you could feel his hands trembling. “I know. I know, sweet girl. I see you.”
You smiled. You looked at his face, his eyes, the glowing freckles. You committed all the little details in your memory. You wanted him to be the last thing you saw.
You didn’t want to go. You wanted to stay with him. Fuck everything you had said about not belonging together. You wanted more time. You wanted to go against everything you had ever believed.
But, the darkness took over. The control over your body left and you went limp. Your eyes got lost in the void. You were slipping away, you slipped away.
Your time had slipped away like sand.
Neteyam couldn’t understand as you went completely limp in his arms.
“Sweet girl ? Come on. Please. Don’t do this, don’t do this.” Neteyam begged.
He heard gasps from behind him, cries. He barely registered them as he held your body closer, as he tried to shake you to wake you up.
“Don’t go. Please, please.” He whispered, his eyes still on your face.
Your skin felt colder already. Your eyes weren’t looking at him anymore.
They would never look at him again. He would never feel them on him again. He would never hold your hand again. He would never feel you fall asleep against him again. He would never see you smile again. Never hear your voice. Your laugh.
It hit.
He screamed. “Great mother, why ? Why ? Not her ! Please !” He screamed and cried and sobbed. “Please...”
Jake and Neytiri could only watch as their son held you to his body tight, not seeing anything but you, crying and whispering to you to come back.
They had to move. Kiri and Tuk were still in the boat, captives by Quaritch.
Jake put a hand on Neteyam’s shoulder. “Neteyam, we need to go.”
He had no reaction the first time, still crying, his face in your hair.
“Neteyam !”
Neteyam looked up at his father, his eyes lost and full of tears.
“Your sisters are still in there. We need to go, now.” Jake said, his hands on both Neteyam’s shoulders now. “I know... I know it’s hard, but I need you to have a strong heart right now. Your mother and I need you with us.”
The words finally registered in his mind. Kiri and Tuk were still in danger. In danger by the same people who had killed you.
He couldn’t describe the rage he felt spread from his core, flames eating up at him. He needed to kill them. Needed to get his sisters back and kill all of them. Kill Quaritch.
He nodded. He laid you down on the rock gently. He took off your mask. You didn’t need it anymore.
The pain was excruciating. He felt like his heart was breaking, being torn out of his own chest.
It has already been torn out, he thought. You had taken it with you as you left and went somewhere he could not follow.
Neteyam closed your eyes and pressed a kiss on your eyelids and on your cheeks. He could almost fool himself in the fact that you were just sleeping.
If only.
He got up and took a deep breath. He looked around him.
Lo’ak and Spider were crying too. You had been a sister to them for so long. Now, you were gone.
Tsireya was a comforting presence at Lo’ak’s back. He was grateful that his brother wasn’t alone.
Jake and Neytiri looked at him with somber expressions. He could also see the tears in their eyes, the pain.
You had been sky people, but they all had loved you like one of their own.
His mother looked at him, letting the rage and pain also fill her eyes. “We have to go. Get your sisters back. Kill them.”
He nodded and joined her on her ikran. His father went on his own ilu with Spider who was willing to show the way.
“I want to go with you.” Lo’ak said to Jake.
He turned to him, “You have done enough. Stay with her.”
Neteyam already knew Lo’ak wouldn’t listen. He knew his brother too well. He wouldn’t stand by, especially not with everything that was happening, that had happened. Neteyam wouldn’t try to stop him, not this time.
After that, Neteyam let the pain, the rage, the anger, the grief take over. He took a spear a Metkayina had left in a body. He killed.
Any man coming his way was killed. A hit in the throat, before he took the spear out. A swipe at their stomach or their limbs, cutting off parts, ending them.
He didn’t see anymore, not really. He only saw red. He wanted red to spill, blood out of them, revenge. He barely had any control over his body. He was only fueled by the image of your body in the back of his mind. The image of his sisters captive.
He couldn’t say how many had fallen under his spear. A trail of bodies were left by him and Neytiri.
Neytiri let her own rage talk beside him. A rage that had built over the past year. Rage over the sky people coming back. Rage over having to run to protect their family and leave her home behind (the one she had promised to protect to her father). Rage over her family getting hurt over and over again.
They looked like two demons coming for retribution. Two hurt beings fueled by pure instincts. The sky people had no chance.
He was only brought back when he saw Quaritch with his knife at Kiri’s throat. Tuk was with their dad, but Kiri was still stuck.
He approached slowly, his mind racing, trying to find a way out of this situation.
Neytiri appeared, her knife at Spider’s throat.
She hissed at Quaritch. “A child for a child.”
(She had hated sky people, couldn’t accept Spider nor you in the beginning.
You had never pushed, especially with her. She had learned to at least tolerate you.
She had seen the genuine love you had for all of them, and especially Neteyam.
She couldn’t accept it at first. The looks between the two of you. This was her firstborn, her son. He couldn’t end up with sky people. It did not make sense.
But she had seen the way you distanced yourself. The way you always tried to pull away. The way you smiled and laughed and loved them, but looked lost and pained when they weren’t looking.
She had learned to respect you. And she had learned to love you.
(“Ma’Jake, are you really going to do this ? Teach her ?” She had asked one day. Jake had decided to teach her survival skills.
He looked at his mate with a small smile. “Our kids love her. She’s become a part of us. She needs to be able to protect herself.” She sighed. “Look... she reminds me of me in a lot of ways. It’s not her fault she’s ended up here. She didn’t ask for this. But, she’s been there for our kids and she’s been trying.”
Neytiri knew this. You tried to learn, while keeping your distance and your limits. You were respectful.
Even her own mother seemed to see something in you. And she also saw it but did not want to admit it.)
She ended up also teaching you the way of the bow. The way of the hunt.
She ended up liking your company. The way you worked hard and were eager to learn. The way you would not push conversation.
Day after day, you had wormed your way into her family.
You had become one of hers.)
She hissed again, her voice a rumble in her chest. “I cut !”
She cut Spider’s chest to show that she meant it. Quaritch let Kiri go.
Neteyam only remembered taking Kiri and Tuk and going backwards in the water, away from Quaritch, even if he wanted to gut him. Wanted him to bleed out slowly on the ground.
But his sisters mattered more. That was what you would want too. Kiri and Tuk safe, before any revenge.
As he swam away with them, Neytiri and Spider, his father stayed behind to fight Quaritch. He prayed to Eywa that his dad would win. He had to.
The fire spread before they could get away.
“We need to swim back !” Spider screamed and Neteyam swam back towards the boat, tugging Tuk and his mother along with him.
They tried to find a way out, to get away from the fire. Tuk fell, taken by the water. Neytiri jumped after her.
“Try to get out of here, find Lo’ak or my dad!” He screamed to Kiri and Spider. “I’m going after mom and Tuk!”
He jumped in.
He found them quickly. “What are you doing here, son ?” Neytiri screamed. “You should have stayed with Kiri and Spider !”
“I’m not leaving you two behind. Let’s move forward, mom.” He said with resolve, moving first with Neytiri.
They managed to escape the water, swimming as fact as they could. One door would not open. Neytiri tried. Neteyam tried and tried, bruising his hands.
His mother put a hand on his shoulder. “There’s no point, Neteyam. It’s okay.”
They stayed the three of them, huddled close. Neteyam held Tuk close to him. Neytiri held them both close.
“We’re going to be okay, Tuk. All is going to be fine.” He whispered, as the water kept rising.
He remembered the same words he had said to you before you died. He hoped it wouldn’t be the same. Not for Tuk. Not for his mom.
A part of him would have been okay with being taken by the water. With joining you wherever you were. But not when his mother and sister were there too.
The water kept rising and rising. He held Tuk closer.
Eywa, sky girl, please.
Lights came, along with Kiri. They were saved. He hugged Kiri. He said thank you to the great mother, to his sky girl.
They got out. They found Lo’ak and their dad. They all hugged.
Sullys stick together.
They went back to the rock. Tsireya had stayed with you the whole time.
Neteyam felt the adrenaline and everything fall away. He felt the rage and anger slip away, only to leave the pain and the grief.
He scooped you up in his arms again and held you close. You were so small and still so limp.
He saw Tuk and Kiri realize.
“Oh no... No...” Kiri broke down, coming to hold your hand. “Oh, sky girl...” She cried the loss of her best friend.
Tuk only cried, pressing your other hand to her cheek.
They all huddled close to you and Neteyam.
Spider came back. Sat there, eyes lost.
Neteyam cradled you, protected you until the sea clan came back to help them out back to the island.
He kept you in his arms the whole way, his forehead to yours.
And still when they all arrived and stepped foot on land.
“We...we want a proper funeral for her. We know she was not Na’vi but she was one of us.” Jake asked Tonowari and Ronal.
Neteyam stepped forward. He looked at them with despair and pain. “Please. I would not dare to ask such a thing but I have to, for her. Please let her rest with Eywa.”
They both looked at each other and had a silent conversation. They knew they could not say no. Not to the Sullys who had fought for the Metkayinas and had become a part of their people.
Not to their grief. And especially not to the oldest son, who they saw destroyed.
They saw how he never let you down, how he looked at you, the tears in his eyes.
“Of course. We will hold a proper funeral for her, in your honor.” Tonowari promised.
That night, they all gathered at the Cove of the Ancestors.
All of the Sullys gathered around you, all touching some part of your skin.
Neteyam, Jake and Neytiri went with you to submerge your body and lead you to the polyp bed. The corals took you.
The sea gives and the sea takes.
Neteyam watched as you joined Eywa, body and soul. He didn’t know how to go on, now. Not without you.
He didn’t connect with Eywa. He was too scared to do it. Too scared to see you again. If he did, he didn’t know how he would have the strength to stay away.
He would want nothing but to stay connected forevermore.
He couldn’t do it. Not yet.
The Sullys left to go back to the forest for a little bit. To tell Mo’at. To tell Norm and Max.
They went back to the Omaticayas. They were welcomed well.
Neteyam tried to smile, to be happy for the reunion. He felt nothing but emptiness.
“Hey everyone.” Norm came to them in his avatar, hugging Jake in the process. Max followed behind him and other humans too. They all looked tired.
“We...we lost her. She was just gone.” Max whispered.
Jake had a somber expression. “We know. Quaritch had her and brought her to us. She...she’s with Eywa now.”
The humans all looked surprised before somber expressions took over their faces too. Norm had to sit down. “What happened ?” He asked after a deep silence.
“She got shot for me.” Neteyam answered. He hated the words. Hated that they were real.
He could barely sleep anymore. He wished it had been but a nightmare. A nightmare his mind had conjured up.
He had hoped to find her with the Omaticayas safe and sound.
If only.
“Norm, should we tell them ?” Max commented.
Norm said nothing, simply got up and motioned them to come to the lab.
In the back of the lab laid a tank covered up.
“We didn’t know if we would be able to ever make it. We barely had the means, it’s been trial and error with what we had left.” Norm commented, taking the cover off. “It’s been years of process and development. We started when she was a kid, without her even realizing it. We just saw how much she loved you all and had to try.”
“And she had become a daughter to us.” Max added.
They both let the Sullys come through to see what was in the tank. Neteyam was the first one to witness whatever it was.
There was an Avatar floating, still connected. Neteyam saw its head turn. The face had your features. Your features on a Na’vi.
Your hair, your eyes, your mouth.
With blue skin. Taller. Ears twitching. Tail and queue.
A dream he had always had. You looking like him.
“We thought she would be able to link with it one day and even have her soul transfer through Eywa but, now...” Norm trailed off, a hand over his eyes.
Neteyam pressed a hand to the tank, wishing he could touch you, wishing you were in it. The body was useless without your soul, your spirit, your heart in it.
“What if we tried ?” He said, turning to look at his parents, his sisters and brother.
Jake looked at him, his eyebrow raised up. “What do you mean, son ?”
“She’s with Eywa. What if we asked Mo’at to still try the transfer ? Eywa may let her soul get into the body.”
Neytiri shook her head. “It does not work like that, Neteyam. She is already gone with Eywa. She cannot come back.”
“So what ? We don’t try ?” His voice raised up with frustration. “There’s a body right there for her. We’re just going to let it die without even trying ? What if it works and she can come back ?”
He turned back to the tank, looking at your face. “I need to try. Just once. I wouldn’t be able to live and go on if I hadn’t tried.” He mumbled.
He went to Mo’at. They all did but he was the one at the head of the family, which he never was. His dad would always talk, make the decisions.
He had to try. He had to. He explained everything to Mo’at.
“Like my daughter said, it will not work. She had a strong heart and I am too saddened to have lost such a soul. I had wished she had been Na’vi. But, it does not work like that.”
Neteyam’s frustration was growing and growing. He willed himself to calm down. “Just...let’s just try, please Mo’at. Just one try. If it doesn’t work, then, that’s it. But let’s try, for her.”
Mo’at conceited after a long silence.
“We will need someone to guide her back. This will be more complicated than the transfer your father went through.”
“I will do it.”
Both Neteyam and Kiri had talked.
“No.” Jake retorted right away. “No, Kiri. You had a seizure last time.”
Kiri turned to their parents with a scowl. “I am the closest to Eywa, and you know that. I can help her. And I will do it with Neteyam.”
Jake and Neytiri still looked at her in disapproval.
“Please. She is my best friend. I have to do this with him.”
Jake conceited too, with a sigh. “Okay, but no risk. You realize something is going to happen, you feel anything, you’re out of there, okay ?”
She nodded. Neteyam bumped his shoulder against hers. They smiled at each other, ready.
The Omaticayas all gathered at the Tree of the Ancestors, for you.
Another gathering. This time Neteyam wished it was for an happier reason. He prayed you would be reborn.
He prayed to Eywa as he held your avatar body and laid you in front of Mo’at.
He prayed as he connected his queue. He prayed as Kiri connected hers.
Neteyam opened up his eyes to find himself in the forest. Kiri was beside him.
They saw you a few feet away, squatting down, your bare feet in the grass, your fingers touching a glowing flower.
You turned around to look at them and smiled. Neteyam felt a rock in his throat, an acute pain in his heart.
He had missed your smile. He had missed your eyes.
“Guys !” You waved them over, standing up.
Kiri went to you first, smiling with tears streaming down her face. “I missed you, stupid girl.”
You laughed. “We saw each other literally yesterday, Kiri. You hit your head during the night ?”
Neteyam got close too, intertwined his fingers with yours. You looked at him to realize he was also crying.
“You too ? Are you guys okay ?” You asked, this time worried something had truly happened.
Neteyam just smiled. “Come on, sweet girl, come with us.”
You let yourself be taken away. You would have followed Neteyam anywhere, anyway.
You felt your hand slip away from his. Bright light entered your eyesight.
You breathed again. You felt the ground against your back. A hand on your face.
You slowly opened up your eyes. You saw the Tree of the Ancestors. You were confused.
You saw Neteyam. His hand was on your face.
“What is going on, Nete ?” You tried to say but only whispered, your voice unused. Your throat hurt.
You saw him choke up and cry. “Nete !” You sat up with difficulty, other hands helped you. “Slow down, sky girl.” Kiri.
You wiped his tears. Then you saw your hands.
Larger, blue.
You gasped. How ?
You brought them to your face, flexed them, turned them around before Neteyam caught them in his own.
“This is a dream... I’m dreaming...” You whispered, still looking at your hands in Neteyam’s.
“No, you’re home.” He answered, dropping his forehead to yours.
You realized Mo’at was there watching you. She screamed. “She has been reborn !”
You were Na’vi now. Somehow.
It took you a few days to simply understand what had happened.
You remembered getting shot and passing out. You barely remembered anything from your time with Eywa.
You could only remember feeling her, knowing she was real.
Now, you were reborn. You were Na’vi. Somehow, your dream had become true.
You had hugged Norm and Max like never before when you had learned it was thanks to them. They had developed an avatar for you, for years. (Max had moaned in pain. “You’re not human anymore, you’re going to have to learn to be careful.” You had smiled, sorry.)
You were taller, blue. Your ears would twitch. You couldn’t control your tail yet.
You had a tail. It was weird.
(“How do you guys do it ? It’s such a strange feeling...” You asked Lo’ak and Kiri, rubbing your tail.
They both shrugged. It was as natural as breathing for them. As natural as an arm. It was still weird.)
You also didn’t need a mask anymore to breathe the air. You didn’t feel restricted anymore.
Only the lack of control of your own body restricted you.
(“How the hell do you even go forward without falling ?” You were frustrated. You had tried forming tsaheylu with a pa’li.
It had seemed okay. You had told it to move forward.
It dashed. You fell on your ass, the tsaheylu broken.
Neteyam tried not to laugh, hiding behind his hand. You wanted to kick him.
Jake looked at you with understanding. He had gone through the exact same thing. He patted your back. “It’s a... lot of trial and error. You’ll be able to do it in no time, don’t worry.”
You didn’t believe him.)
Everything felt surreal. You were in this body, you were alive.
You were laying down with Neteyam, watching the stars. You barely had any time to just be the two of you ever since you had been reborn, so this was a rare occurrence you both were making the most of.
Your head was on his shoulder, your hands intertwined together.
He broke the silence. “I had prayed to watch the stars again with you. I can’t believe Eywa heard me and gave me this.”
You raised up on your elbow to look at him. He looked back at you with pain still lingering in his eyes.
He had grieved you, had thought you were gone forever.
“I’m sorry I left you. I had...had to. I couldn’t imagine you gone so I...” You trailed off, not knowing what to add.
“I know, sweet girl. I would have done the same for you, had I been in your place. Let’s just...never do it again.” He laughed, his fingers drawing a path between your freckles. “Eywa, you’re so beautiful.” He whispered.
Your heart skipped a beat. You felt your ears twitch and your tail move up. “Does that mean I was ugly when I was sky people ?” You joked.
He smirked and tackled you down, his body over yours. “Do you really have to try and twist my words, yawntu ?”
You were going to melt into the ground. This man had to know what he was doing. His smirk grew.
“You were beautiful then. You’re beautiful now. You’ve been beautiful to me, no matter what.”
He whispered, his face lowering down towards yours. His lips met yours. You softly moaned and melted into the kiss. Your hands went on his shoulders as he deepened the kiss, before drawing a path to his back.
You could never get enough of him. Never get enough of this.
Later on, a few weeks down the line, you two would go to the tree of voices.
You had dreamed of what was coming.
You had both waited for years. You knew. You were sure.
He looked at you and kissed your face.
Your hand went to your queue and brought it closer to his.
“Are you ready, yawntu ?” Neteyam asked, his eyes never wavering from your face.
You nodded. “I’ve been ready for a long time.” He laughed, before letting his queue connect to yours. “Me too.”
Your foreheads pressed into each other’s as you felt him. Him.
You couldn’t believe the feeling of it. You felt everything. The way he breathed. Thoughts. Feelings.
What he felt for you.
“I see you.” He whispered.
“I see you.” You whispered back.
You fell into each other and intertwined before Eywa.
Your mate.
It wasn’t over. It was only the beginning.

Magnus Archives Relisten 2, MAG 2
Second part of the relisten analysis, featuring my beloved Joshua Gillespie <3 Sorry this is a bit later in the day than expected, had it queued but must've saved it wrong.
Spoilers ahead!
Facts: Statement of Joshua Gillespie (my love) from November 22nd, 1998, regarding an empty wooden casket he acquired while living in Amsterdam.
Character Notes: Jon's from Bournemouth confirmed! Again, hindsight is hilarious when Jon says "it's nice to hear my hometown is not entirely devoid of odd occurrences." Like sir you were almost eaten by a book?
Statement Notes: Another instance of drug use. Again, I can't necessarily tell if this is just a device so that Jon can dismiss the statements or if the entities are specifically preying on people in fragile/weak states of mind.
But none of that matters because the incredible Joshua Gillespie was there <3 <3, smartest character in the series on God. Specifically loved the end of the statement when the man who gave him the coffin sees the key in the ice box and seems impressed, because damn I'm impressed to. The statement specifically says he was impressed after Gillespie "Told him where he could stick it." This definitely feeds into the idea that, as much as the fears prey on weak and scared people, they're really attracted to confident and bold people. I think a person's response to a scary scenario has a lot to do with whether they become an avatar or a victim; not necessarily whether they were scared or brave, but whether that fear overtook them or they dove into it. Gillespie really faced his fear of the coffin and just dealt with it in a head on, practical manner.
I don't recall the character who gives Gillespie the coffin coming up again, but of course his name is John. Obviously Breekon and Hope come up, but I don't remember this other guy showing up again, anyone else?
It's super interesting that the coffin didn't get delivered until after Gillespie spent the money, as if it was waiting for some kind of a debt to be established.
Entity Alignment: Little on the nose, but this is the Buried. It pretty weird, that although long term fans know this is Buried aligned "thing," there's really no mention of anyone entering or being buried in the coffin in this episode. But at the end of the statement, Tim discovers that no one was living in the building with Gillespie for many years. That could have to do with the money, whoever gave him the coffin may have set up the apartment sale to manipulate him into spending it, but a part of me really likes the idea that all the other residents wandered into the coffin while they slept, unable to resist the call. There's obviously evidence against that, being that no Tim found no one lived there for the entirety of Gillespie's residence and any other possible residence wouldn't have the coffin key.
People like to bring up the Vast/Buried dichotomy a lot, and I think it's really prevalent in this episode. Gillespie first hears the scratching on the coffin when he places a glass on it, but he doesn't hear the wailing until it starts raining. Thinking about the End episode in Season 5, where Oliver Banks determines things stop being scary if you become too used to them, I think hearing the rain is a tool used by the Buried to keep its victims afraid. It may be easy to succumb to the dirt and the darkness on a regular day, but a day you're reminded that there's a wide open sky you can't and won't ever be able to see? Not gonna happen. Letting the victims hear the rain amps up the fear and torment.
One of the best episodes in the series, let me know what you think!
