Heartburn - Keigo Takami
Tumblr media
A/N: Working on requests has been a bit draining, and I’ve been in the mood to try and write for Hawks again so here’s this. Totally not based on how sick I felt the other night because of heartburn…
Warning/s: mentions of pills, mentions of vomit, gagging, and throwing up
Tears swelled in your eyes as you hunched over, slowly lowering yourself to fully brace yourself against the counter. Your phone dropped to the cool surface, switching to speakerphone as you awaited Hawks’ voice on the other end. You were begging anything and everything for him to pick up the phone. He didn’t answer the first time, and your facetime went unnoticed. You weren’t sure how much longer you could last without his help.
The pain just below your ribs increased and you couldn’t help but gag. Just as you were about to give up on the phone call, Hawks’ voice came through.
“Hey baby bird,” he cooed softly. “Everything ok?”
“Hey,” you replied quietly. “I need help.”
“What’s going on?” you could hear the worry in the hero’s response. “Are you hurt?”
“You know those chewy things for heartburn,” you began. “Can I take them with these pills in a pink bottle that says ‘stomach relief’?”
“Oh,” there was a soft chuckle on the other side of the phone. “You shouldn’t need to, but you can. The tums should work fairly quickly.”
“They ain’t tums,” you grunted, wrapping an arm around your chest. “They’re those chewy things.”
“Yeah I know what you’re talking about. They’re just a different type of tums.” Keigo was silent for a moment. “You have heartburn?”
“Bad,” you grimace again. “Just below my ribs. It hurts like hell. If I stand up for too long, or sit up too fast I feel like I’m gonna be sick. I took one of the chewy things earlier but it hasn’t done anything.”
“How long ago?”
You hummed in thought, glancing back at the stove in the kitchen. “Maybe 20 minutes ago? I don’t know, to be honest.”
“Take another one and give it another 10 or 20 minutes. If that doesn’t work then you can take the pills.”7
You nodded, knowing Hawks couldn’t see you. “Ok. Thank you.”
“Hope you feel better, dove. If you still feel nauseous when you go to bed, take some Zofran and have a bowl on standby. Make sure you drink plenty of water. I’ll be home in a few hours, but call me if you need anything else.”
You smiled slightly despite the pain in your chest and abdomen. “Ok, Kei. Goodbye.”
“Goodbye, Y/N.” You set the bottle of pills down on the counter, digging through the shoe box of medication for the chewable tums you had just tossed into the box. Then, you grabbed a glass of water and made your way to your room. You gently laid down on the bed, shaking another chewable medication into the palm of your hand before tossing it back into your mouth. You took a sip of water and lowered yourself down to lay on your side.
Time passed and the pain didn’t ease, so you shakily took two of the pink pills you had called hawks about. They were fairly large pills, causing you to gag once again as you took them with another sip of water.
You toss and turn for hours, hoping to find a position that could relieve your pain, even if just momentarily. The space between the base of your ribs hurt the worst and even just the slightest bit of pressure threatened to make you throw up right then and there. The pain was enough to keep you awake, but at the same time you were so exhausted you managed to doze in and out of sleep.
You awoke every 45 minutes to a new, achier type of pain just below your ribs. You tried adjusting your position but it only ever managed to make the pain worse, causing you to gag and desperately try to keep the contents of your stomach from covering your blankets. No matter what you did you couldn’t relieve the pain.
Hawks came home just past two in the morning, silently making his way through the apartment in search of you. He cracked your door open ever-so-slightly to see you asleep in bed. He took the opportunity to take a quick shower and change into his night clothes before checking in on you one last time.
Keigo gently lowered himself to sit on the edge of your bed, taking in your distraught look. Your arms were wrapped around your torso and you were curled into a ball. Your eyebrows were furrowed in what Keigo could only assume was pain. He wanted to wake you and try and help relieve the pain, but Hawks also knew that if you woke up you may not get back to sleep and that was something he didn’t want to risk. Against his better judgment, he stood slowly so as not to wake you and began walking towards your door.
He froze, however, when he heard you groan and then cough harshly, followed by what he could only assume was a gag. Whipping back around the winged hero rushed back to you. He sat beside you once again and gently rubbed your back with one hand, holding your hair with the other in case you did throw up.
You gagged one last time before coughing, rubbing at your chest, then leaning into Keigo’s arms. Your head rests against his shoulder as his arms wrapped around you, one drawing gentle circles into your bicep. His head lowered to rest on top of yours, but not before he pressed a light kiss against your hairline.
“Not feeling any better?” he whispered softly, holding you just the slightest bit tighter.
You could only shake your head and cry into his shirt. “Make it stop.”
Taking a look around the room, Keigo saw medicine sitting on your bedside table. He reached over, gentle not to jostle you too much, and unscrewed the lid to the pills. He returned the bottle to the stand, and in return picked up your glass of water. “Here,” he muttered, handing the pills to you. You swallowed them quickly, thankful for the water that Keigo pressed to your lips. The coolness of the liquid barely managed to soothe the everlasting ache, but it was a start.
“Let’s lay back down, yeah?” Keigo offered, guiding you to lay against his chest as he got under the covers. Once you were comfortable, he began to gently massage the areas that hurt you the most. “Do you feel like you may be sick?” he asked. When you shook your head and closed your eyes, Hawks hummed in content.
You continued to wake up every hour or so, but every time Keigo would wake with you and do anything he could to help put you at ease. He hated that you had heartburn this bad, and that it happened more often than you’d like. There had been countless times he would awaken in the morning to you asleep on the bathroom floor, where you had resided after being in so much pain it would make you sick.
But for now, all Keigo could do was hold you and comfort you until you felt better.

Flight
🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕
Quirk: Flight
Like the name suggests, YN has the ability to fly. With no wings it’s like she floats off the ground. The highest she has gone was breaching the cloud line. If she focuses hard enough, YN can go fast enough to break the sound barrier. YN’s family discovered her quirk when she was three and floated from the ground to the ceiling.
Child YN (11 years old), PTSD symptoms. If you are triggered by falling or fearful flashbacks please skip this chapter
🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕
YN held onto the straps of her backpack as she skipped toward the center of the park. Today she was going to meet with her flying teacher/guardian. Keigo had found her when a villain tried to toss her off a building. He went to go catch her but saw that floated her way down, though not slow enough to saver her own life. Hawks guided her down, saving her and getting attached. After that day, Hawks said he could help with flying techniques so she could be more confident in her quirk. But YN had always suspected that his fascination meant something deeper. Something about the way he was so cautious and kind with her.
As she got closer to the winged man, YN smiled wider when she saw that he was holding a Hello Kitty plushie for her. That meant that today would be a challenge day. If she beat the challenge then she got to keep the plushie.
“Hawks!” YN shouted as she skipped faster and waved openly at him. He turned and smiled, not the same smile he gave fans who flirted with him or that sly smile he always had for Endeavor. This smile was warm and kind. Like she was his own child.
“Hello to you too YN. And for the hundredth time, You can call me Keigo.” He laughed and messed her hair around.
“Sooooooo…… What’s the challenge for today?” YN inquired as she set her backpack down.
“Caught onto the Hello Kitty doll, huh?” Keigo teased. YN loved those cutsie little dolls. Like his own small toy, Keigo knew they were a source of comfort to the small girl. “Well you’re right. There is a challenge for today, so meet me in the sky and I’ll tell you.”
He finished with a playful jab at her shoulder then shot off into the sky. YN rolled her eyes at him, and with a deep breath she started floating upward after him. YN lazily went higher and higher as she floated along like a balloon that was let go. When she finally reached Keigo’s level, she smiled at him.
“So what’s the challenge? Sound barrier break? Speeding and stopping? Oooh maybe-”
“We’re gonna try falling and landing down.” Keigo interrupted.
That caused YN to freeze up. The last time she went falling was when she was thrown off a roof. She was so scared she forgot how to fly, how to float, how to land. The fear of falling mixed with the pain of having her own father toss her off a roof to save his own skin.
“I….I don’t want… I can’t do it. I can float down. But I don’t want to fall and catch myself. I can’t do it. I couldn’t do it last time.” YN tried bargaining. Tried convincing Keigo that she couldn’t do what he wanted.
“YN. You can do this. I promise you’re stronger than you believe. I won’t let you get hurt. I’ll catch you if anything happens.” Keigo comforted her. His voice was kind and sweet as he let her know how strong she actually was. “Besides~ Do it for Hello Kitty here.”
With a dangle of the plushie, YN nodded at him. With a deep breath she closed her eyes and let herself fall.
YN’s ears were filled with rushing wind as her body went down. Eyes shut tight as she counted when she was meant to stop herself and land. But as she opened her eyes, she did not see Keigo, she saw the cold eyes of her father. The man she thought was supposed to protect and love her, coldly tossing her down. His eyes blank as she helplessly fell.
YN’s eyes teared as she remembered how she screamed that day. ‘Dad! I don’t know how to land!’. But He didn’t care. And now she was falling once again, but she couldn’t see Keigo there. She didn’t see his worried eyes as she got closer to the ground. YN’s eyes shut tight again as she braced for the impact.
It wasn’t until she felt two arms wrap around her tightly did she reopen her eyes. Unlike her Father, Keigo jumped down to catch her. Fell with her so that she wouldn’t hit the ground. YN hyperventilated as Keigo held her tighter and landed quickly on the ground. She heaved and sobbed in his arms.
“I can’t do it. I can’t. I’m sorry.” She sobbed and curled in his arms.
“No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pushed you. I’m sorry baby bird. I’m so sorry.” He hugged her tightly. He put the doll in her arms and let her hug it tight. YN looked up at him and hugged him back.
“You caught me. You caught me. You caught me dad..” She whispered. Keigo kissed the side of her head and grabbed her backpack intending to take his adoptive daughter home.
“I’ll always catch you, baby bird.”

having Hawks as your Body Guard.
it simply came to be like an epiphany from whatever deity lies from above. Body gaurd AU, as always fem reader, reader is 7-3 years old, and shy, hawks is a soft yandere, and Platonic.
Tumblr media
Now in this AU Hawks is a body guard for people who need body guarding and since you have a pretty well known and wealthy family in this AU you are considered to be a prime target for well, bad people, ya' know?
anyway so hawks recently gets a call to be a body guard for your family now hawks is okay with this but the problem is when he realizes HE IS TAKING CARE OF YOU.
like your this tiny little thing that doesn't even speak that much how is he going to survive taking care of you EVERY DAY?
it just so BORING.
but hey, they pay well. (and he hears that the family's main body guard is Endeavor so there's that too)
so he gets there, standard procedure, nothing too interesting getting the names of his ward, where he'll be taking you etc.
and then he actually meets you and boring stuff happens, he tries to talk to you and then talk to Endeavor but being a child and a shy one at that you're not someone who he'd call fun.
he picks you up from your school, drives you to your house, another person's house (your moms friend) house, doctor appointment, barricades you from other people you know the drill.
it probably isn't until you're in danger that he actually starts to care. I'm guessing burglar that tries to hold you hostage.
because something inside him just clicks.
he suddenly has his feeling of unease and discomfort when he doesn't know where you are and when you're not by his side.
Mama Bird mode is activated.
he also finds that he wants to interact with you more, and gets closer to you. as in helping fix your hair, playing with you and then helping you clean up, and wanting to just really interact with you more.
has you hold his hand and lead the way to all your favorite places and he eyes everyone else to see if they're a threat.
since you're so shy, Keigo takes it upon himself to answer the questions you didn't even ask, alike you could be at the zoo, and eye a random animal for too long and he'll be spitting facts all like "did you know that Butterflies can taste with their feet, using something called Chemoreceptors that help them to identify plants! cool right?" and stare at it for even longer and he's buying you a plushie, it's over, you are getting that plushie!
and when your family is out in public he just kinda
Tumblr media
and it's so fucking funny, he just barricades you so much the media doesn't have a single photo of you that your parents have not posted. and Keigo anonymously keeps reporting it so they take those posts down, HE CANNOT HAVE ANYONE ELSE HAVE YOU YOU"RE TOO GOOD FOR THIS WORLD.
oh my god, if you talk to him more than you normally would with anyone else, he can and will look so damn smug, he loves the fact that not even your Parents have what you have with him.
at some point Mama Bird mode is Elevated, he just can't take it anymore, he fucking applies to be a nanny.
I'll write for endeavor and miruko in this Au on monday and tuesday respectively maybe a little before that if I'm too impatient.

Give In | Platonic!Yandere!Hawks x Teen!Reader
This had to be the worst day of your life.
You didn't think anything would top being kidnapped, but here you were sunken into the couch of your 'home' weighed down by your own dejection.
Your entire body was cold.
Wet, muddied clothes clung to your body and there was an obvious trail coming from the door to the couch.
Everything was numb.
Your fingertips, your toes, your mind.
The sound of the door opening paused your inner monologue.
"Man, that rain is no joke today! I'm soaked!" Hawks' voice came from the front door, but you didn't bother looking at him.
He strolled over to you after taking his shoes off, but again you paid him no mind. You couldn't bear the sight of him.
He stilled for a moment, looking you over while a frown overtook his features, "(Y/N), my sweet little sister, did you go outside?" His voice was so soft yet unbearably sarcastic. He knew the answer.
He hummed unhappily when he received no reply, "You're gonna get sick if you sit in those wet clothes any longer. I'll go draw you a bat-"
"Yeah, I hope I get so sick that I die." You spat. But even that held no real emotion behind it. You couldn't even bring yourself to be angry at him.
You'd been angry at first.
You'd spent so long trying to figure out an escape plan, only to find the door unlocked when you didn't find a key. Then you anxiously ran out into the rain, screaming for help and looking for any other houses or even streets.
For miles, you ran.
For miles, you hoped and prayed that today was the day you'd be free again.
But as if your prayers were nothing but a joke, you found a tall wall at the end of your journey and it suddenly made sense why the door was left unlocked.
The image of Keigo laughing at you was the first thing that flashed in your mind and you felt something snap in your psyche.
You grabbed at the muddied ground, throwing clumps of mud and grass into the wall as if it were mocking you. Curses of Keigo's name left your mouth with fiery breaths and when the clumps of mud weren't enough, you hit and clawed at the walls.
It hadn't mattered that your fingers were bleeding or that a few nails were gone.
Nothing mattered anymore.
Nothing mattered except for Keigo.
"Okay, grumpy, you still have to take a bath."
You clenched your fists and took a deep breath, "Why didn't you tell me about the wall?"
Keigo stopped, turning back towards you. He had a cocky glint in his eyes, "Did you really think I was gonna let you go that easily? Or that someone wouldn’t find you and return you?”
"Why..." You trailed off, "Why did you let me think that I had a chance? I... I ran for miles... thinking I was free..."
A sound of pity left Keigo and you wished you could slap him, "(Y/N), you're a smart kid. I'm your older, smarter brother." You wanted to scoff at his ego, "Why wouldn't I or the Heroes' Commission plan ahead?"
Why wouldn't they plan ahead?
You felt so stupid.
Of course everything had been planned.
Your prior kidnapping from your home.
Your shipment to Japan.
And your 'rescue' accomplished by Hawks himself.
It was so obvious now that all of that had been an orchestrated to get you into Keigo's possession.
You were a business plan.
Something to keep Keigo occupied from losing his sanity.
"Y-... You're all sick... you're all fucking sick!" Your chest hurt and you clawed at your heart with mangled fingers.
"(Y/N), focus on your breathing for me." Keigo told you, ignoring your spiraling. When you couldn't calm down, he stalked towards you, "(Y/N), I said focus! Slow your breathing."
Violent sobs tore your throat.
Everything had been taken from you just so you could play house with some hero.
Keigo cooed softly and closed the gap between you to hold you close and slide you down to the floor, telling you to slow your breathing.
He uttered praises to you when you finally listened and slowly but surely, your breathing was dissolved into quiet sobs and sniffles.
He stroked the top of your head before grabbing one of your hands to look at your fingers. He gave a small sigh when noticed how bloodied and swollen they were. They were probably riddled with fractures and would surely bruise.
“Maybe,” he spoke, “If you’d let go…this whole thing would be easier.”
“I… I’m gonna go take a bath now…” Your voice was hoarse, grated raw from your sobs and you stood on wobbly legs to make your way to the bathroom.
Keigo only smiled reassuringly and before you closed the door, he spoke one more time, “I love you so much, (Y/N). Please don’t forget that.”
But how could you?

Request for the Pro Heroes x child reader
Character(s): Hawks and/or Endeavor (yes I'm giving this man a chance to be a good person)
Prompt: Abandoned nonbinary reader with a Phoenix quirk (wings and fire) and everyone thinks they'll be a Villain because of how hot the reader's fire can burn. Phoenixes in Japan are seen as goddesses. (Reader was originally abandoned for coming out at nonbinary but the deal was sealed when the reader accidentally burned a house down)
-🦦
Thank you so much for your request. I’m so excited since this is my first official request. I already had an idea for a phoenix quirk so I hope you don’t mind that I used it here. I hope you enjoy this story and that it helps you.
Hawks and Endeavor x Phoenix Quirk Child Reader
Reader was 13 when they were found by Hawks and Endeavor
The reader’s mother had an endurance and adaptability quirk that allowed her to change her body to better fit her environment. For example: if the reader’s mother was stuck in the desert, her body would change to allow her to store excess water similar to how a camel does. Or if bullets were fired at her, she could thicken her skin and produce osteoderms (these are the small bone like plates that cover the crocodilian species’s backs)
The reader’s father had a weak heat quirk and could grow sharp feathers from his arms and shoulders.
Their parents were very traditional and strict. Having been a late bloomer was already causing strain on their relationship with their parents.
The reader developed their quirk late at the age of 10. The reader has retractable wings that are covered in specialized feathers. The Primary and Secondary feathers are sharp and resemble blades, these feathers harden after they fully develop. The Primary and Secondary Coverts are hard and sharp at the tips. When the tips of the Coverts rub or strike each other it creates a spark.
Tumblr media
Each feather has microscopic holes along the Calamus and a gland beneath the follicle that secretes an Ethanol based, oil-like substance that covers their skin protecting it from the flames but also acting as a fuel. This oil is similar to Bakugou’s nitroglycerin sweat as they both produce more, the hotter they get. (Ethanol burns at an extremely high temperature but is invisible to the naked eye, you won’t know its there until you’re right next to it) The holes allow for the oil to cover the feathers.
Tumblr media
Due to their Mother’s endurance quirk, the reader’s body is unaffected by the flames they produce. The reader’s body sweat has a natural cooling effect as well as burn soothing and healing properties. This is how they are not burned by the flames. (The reader has to maintain a healthy hydration and drink lots of water because they are easily susceptible to dehydration)
Due to the reader’s quirk their body is naturally androgynous as they don’t have feminine curves or broad shoulders. The reader is short (5’2, sorry if you’re taller) and has a lighter than average body fat percentage to allow for easier flight. (Reader would most likely have a small penis like appendage to make urinating easier as well as a Cloaca. It’s also possible that reader could change their bodies physiology similar to how frogs can change their genders)
Due to the reader’s late development of a quirk as well as their androgynous appearance, they were seen as a freak and were bullied and shunned by their peers.
At age 12 the other kids around them began puberty and as their peers’s bodies began to change and developed they began to question themselves and eventually came to the conclusion that they were nonbinary.
One night their parents sat the reader down and began to discuss the reader’s appearance and how they needed to change in order to fit into society. Since the reader would have a harder time developing fat and couldn’t change the bone structure of their hips, their parents decided that the reader would be a male.
Their parents told them that they were to start working out and building up muscles to create a more masculine appearance. They began telling them about all the things they would have to change and even suggested drastic measures like surgery or hormone treatments to make them look more masculine.
The reader tried to explain to their parents how they felt and how they didn’t want to do all that stuff but they wouldn’t listen.
Eventually the stress began too much as the reader’s wings sprouted and their feathers naturally created a spark that ignited them. As the situation quickly became more complicated and stressful the reader accidentally bumped into a curtain, lighting it on fire, causing it to quickly grow and spread.
As their parents were shouting at them and their house went up in flames, they couldn’t deal with the stressful situation and flew off into the night sky, leaving their small town and flying far away to were they would discover in the morning to be Kyushu
After being ostracized and shunned for basically their entire life, the reader didn’t have much faith in society. Eventually they saw a news report about their hometown. Their parents claimed that their house was destroyed by a villain and blamed the reader for it, completely ignoring the fact of them being their child. The news showed a blurry picture of the reader that was taken by someone.
Due to the blurriness of the image as well as the reader having not really shown anyone their quirk, they weren’t easily identified. However, the news gave a short description of the reader and advised the public to keep an eye out for them and to alert the authorities should they spot the reader.
Realizing that they had no food, money, shelter or family and fearing being seen as a villain and being put in prison, should they ask for help, the reader decided that they had no other choice but to focus on survival.
2 months had gone by with the reader being homeless and barely scraping by. They had found an abandoned building in the less populated and more industrial area of the city and had created a small living space. They had gathered things that people had thrown away like tattered or stained clothes, old bedding, thrown out area rugs and other soft things that people had thrown away and wouldn’t realize were missing. They created a makeshift nest that made them feel safe
They had resorted to dumpster diving in order to find food and water and refused to pick pocket or steal purses. They didn’t want to do things that would make the accusations of them being a villain, true. This led to them being malnourished and having lost a lot of weight and having an emaciated and boney appearance
Hawks and Endeavor had been working together to capture a group of robbers who had been committing a string of robberies but kept getting away. Earlier in the day, the pair had apprehended and caught the group, but two of the seven had managed to escape and fled.
The robbers fled and hid in an abandoned building and planned to lay low and wait for the chance to escape the city, unaware of the red feather stuck and hidden in one of their hoods.
Hawks and Endeavor gathered the police and their sidekicks and had them surround the area near the building. The plan was to wait for the two villains to feel safe and let their guard down, then Hawks and Endeavor would storm the building, if they tried to flee, they would be caught by their sidekicks.
Using a few feathers to scope out the area and get an idea of the perpetrators positions, Hawks sent feathers into the building and relayed the information to Endeavor
Upon sensing a third body inside the building Hawks was going to tell Enji about it but felt someone grab his feather
Realizing that the element of surprise might no longer be on their side, Hawks alerted Endeavor. Inside the building, the robbers had finally noticed the reader and started to attack them when the reader summoned their wings and began to defend themselves
Since it was nighttime, the reader’s flames were emitting a blue glow similar to Dabi’s flames. Thinking that Dabi was in the building, Hawks and Endeavor rushed into the building only to quickly duck as one the robbers was sent flying over their heads from a strong wind
Using his feathers, Hawks was able to knock out the distracted robber and carry them both outside where the police quickly restrained and arrested them
Inside the building, Endeavor and Hawks had turned their attention to the reader. Upon realizing that the reader was just a kid, Hawks tried to tell them to stand down and stop their quirk. His feathers could sense the reader’s heartbeat, telling him that they were obviously scared.
When the reader tells them that they are unable to control the flames and that their wings secrete Ethanol to fuel them Endeavor is reminded of His first born son’s death
Having been living on the streets, the reader was unable to stay sufficiently hydrated and thus quickly ran out of protective sweat, causing the reader to begin being burnt
Hearing the kid’s screams of pain, Endeavor snapped out of his thoughts and quickly instructed Hawks to grab flame repressing foam from the the fire department and use his feathers to dump it on the reader
After following his instructions, the flames were quickly put out. Endeavor went over to the reader and carefully began to help them clean off the foam as he began to check the reader’s burns. Hawks took the moment to survey their surroundings and found the reader’s nest and realized that the reader was living here
Once the reader is calmed down and retracts their wings, Hawks asks about why the reader, a child, is living in an abandoned building
Fearing their situation but knowing that lying would only worsen their situation, the reader begins to explain their situation, telling the heroes what happened and why they are living here
As the police began to search the area and start to finish up their business there, Endeavor and Hawks both realize that the reader shouldn’t be returned to their parent’s custody but that placing them in the foster system would be bad due to their inability to control their relatively new quirk.
Due to developing their quirk later than others, the reader wasn’t given the same counseling and guidance that people normally get. Endeavor, having seen the reader’s potential as well as hoping to spare them the same fate that took his son, decided to become the reader’s legal guardian. Hawks, having plenty of experience with his wings and feeling a kinship with the reader, decides to become a mentor/older brother/fun uncle figure to the reader
Endeavor takes the reader to his home and has them get settled in.
Endeavor may seem grumpy and unapproachable but the reader quickly grows on him as Enji develops a soft spot for the reader.
Enji tries to teach the reader how to control their flames but is constantly reminded of how he trained his children and worries that the reader will hate him
Eventually Hawks is able to teach the reader to control their flames when he tries to have the reader cook chicken with them. Hawks originally intended it as a joke but Endeavor saw the accidental genius and decided that it was a good idea. Hawks just wanted some chicken
The reader has a tendency to build nests as a result of their father’s side of the family having mostly bird related quirks. One day Enji comes home from patrol to see the reader has built a giant nest in his living room. The reader is sitting in the nest in front of the TV. Hawks walks into the room with popcorn, snacks and drinks. After much convincing, Enji finally agrees to sit with them and watch a movie
Half way through the movie the reader falls asleep and snuggles up to Enji’s side. Wrapping an arm around them, Enji lets them sleep as he realizes how much he’s missed out on with his other kids. It’s at this moment that Enji promises himself and the reader that he’ll be better and that he’ll cherish these small moments
Hawks and Enji don’t care about the reader’s appearance, they understand that their quirk just makes their body different from others and they accept it.
Hawks will often visit the reader and they’ll preen each other’s wings. Hawks likes to make spa days out of this. He’ll take them to a bath house or bring bath salts to them. After relaxing in the bath he’ll either have a masseur give them both massages or they’ll massage each other. After that they’ll both take turns inspecting the other’s wings removing old or damaged feathers, combing the feathers, etc. after that Hawks will do face masks with the reader and basically anything that he can use as an excuse to relax
Overall, the reader is an irreplaceable part of Enji and Hawks’s lives now
I hope you enjoyed this.

Killers' with a reader during bath time. Non-binary reader.
Warnings: Nudity. Non-sexual romance. Implied kissing and touching.
...
Jason
Most of the time Jason hates baths or anything to do with water. But if you're in it with him? Then he can compromise.
He always sits up straight and still in the warm tub, his mask off and body bare before you, completely vulnerable. He doesn't like to move because the water scares him, so he settles for watching you as you go about creating bubbles and adding scented oils to the tub. It's pleasant and he enjoys it.
Jason likes to touch you for reassurance that you won't let him drown. A hand on your shoulder, knee, arm or waist; he just likes knowing that you're there for him. Some times he might even pull you into his lap and just hold you for a while, bask in your safe and loving presence.
He loves it when you wash him. During bath time, Jason gives you all the wheels while he sits back and watches. When you use the soft, suddy loofah to scrub his body, it's utter bliss and makes him feel good. Your praise is an added bonus too, making him gladly submit his body in any way you wanted.
He gets transfixed on your bath products. Is that a glitter bath bomb? Whoa. Colored bath beads? Can you use purple? He loves purple. Seeing the water turn purple and glittery will have his adorable eyes going wide in awe. Just look at the water, (y/n), it's magical. You're amazing.
He's a good boy and he'll want to return the favor by washing you. His big hands will scrub every inch of you, making sure that you're nice and clean. Seeing your blissed out expression when he scrubs your back and head makes him happy. He's glad you're enjoying yourself.
The best way to end is by holding you close for a while, feeling your body pressed against his as he held you in his arms. With you around, Jason loved the water.
Wesker
Wesker's preference when it comes to baths is strictly to lay back, submerge himself into the hot water and relax. After a long day at work, relaxing is all he wants to do.
Most of the time Wesker lays back and watches you in your place between his legs as you pour in muscle relaxing Epsom salt and night-time bubble bath. So considerate. You were always thinking about his well-being, and he loved it.
He enjoys listening to you as you blab about your day- shows you had watched, things you had cleaned, ideas you had hatched, ect... Your innocence is a refreshment to him and it makes him feel a type of happiness that his job just can't mimic.
When it comes to you washing your own body, Wesker absolutely loved to watch. Seeing your wet body move around as you covered it with glistening suds was beyond enamoring to him. Some times he would even ask you to stand up and wash yourself, give him the full view so that he could admire every inch of you.
He's not really one to care for childish bath products but he does get a kick out of how much you enjoy them. Seeing you get excited over a new box of assorted bath bombs- which he totally didn't order for you by the way!- he just adores how excited you get. And that same excitement transfers to the bath whenever you happily go to try out your new water toys.
Bath massages. Oh, there's nothing better. Feeling your wet hands press against his tense, sore muscles was utter ecstacy. Expect lots of groans because he was a very knotted up man, and he tends to make loud noises when you work out those knots with your expert, caring hands. God, you had no idea how much he loved you.
To settle the end, Wesker likes to pull your body on top of his and have you lay against him for a while. Submerged wet cuddles? Yes please.
Frank
Oh God... Frank is an absolute child when it comes to the bathtub. Because he was deprived of such innocent luxuries throughout his childhood years, he can't help but to enjoy the opportunity to have fun in the bathtub with you.
Expect everything that was Satan's equivalent of a bathroom mess nightmare pack. Bath bombs, water guns, water crayons, colored bath beads, bubble bath. Everything! He had it all- it's actually kind of cute going to the store with him because he always wanted to check out the bath stuff. Don't tease him though or he'll get frumpy.
Frank loves playing games, so get out those fucking water crayons, baby. If you weren't ever scared of him before, then you should be now, because you are his human canvas. Come on, scoot closer, he wants to draw a heart on your cheek- news flash! It's actually a miniature penis. Let's not forget a colored beard to match!
You can't escape him.
Ever heard of bathtub roulette? Of course you have. It's where you fill the gun with soapy water, play a game of tic-tac-toe, and whoever loses gets a shot of soapy water in the face. Ouch if your eyes get hit.
Despite his childishness, Frank does love relaxing and holding you close. Your legs intertwined as he held your face and kissed your lips? Oh, he could do it for hours, even after the water was freezing cold. You're his gorgeous, beloved angel, and he was never letting you go.
Ending a bath with Frank is less romantic than you probably want to believe because there's a lot of cleaning up to do. And yes, he is childish enough to run away naked so that he doesn't have to take responsibility. Lucky you.
Michael
Talk about a statue. During bath time, this man is a brick wall. Like always, he sits at his end of the tub with that very neutral, monotonous look on his face.
Michael isn't against baths. Not at all. In fact he finds them very interesting and fun- except for that time he accidentally ate a "bath treat". Yeah, he knew it was a miniature bar of soap, but why in the hell was it shaped exactly like a gummy bear!?
He finds himself fixated on whatever you're doing. Michael and you have a deep understanding of each other, and he appreciates how you show and explain to him what all kinds of new products you had bought. A double loofah with a rainbow handle? Cute. Colored foam soap? Expect a beard.
Michael loves, loves, loves his rubber ducky collection. Every time he takes a bath with you, he carefully sets each of his duckies in the water one at a time. He may not show it, but every time you gifted him a new rubber ducky, he mentally flies over the roof.
And he feels the same kind of excitement with surprise bath bombs that have little toys hidden inside. Those were his favorite. So far he had some sharks, some dinosaurs, a pearl ring, and a bunny. It was just so fun watching the bath bombs dissolve and reveal an adorable item from all the magical colors within.
He gets frumpy when you try to wash yourself. Michael is very protective and caring of you and he likes to take care of you himself, and that means scrubbing and washing your body. You can't deny... It feels really, really nice.
Seeing your relaxed, sleepy face is the perfect end to a perfect bath for him.
Jeffrey
Lazy. Completely and utterly lazy. Depending on the day, baths with Jeffrey could either be very lively or very boring.
Prepare to find yourself squished between his legs at the front of the tub by the faucet, because Jeffrey practically prides himself in taking up most of the space. He chuckles a lot, teasing you and squeezing you between his legs, tickling you with his toes. He loves it when you get all frustrated and defensive, and yet you're still helplessly squished/trapped.
He thinks it's cute when you get on your knees and lean against his belly, your faces closer together so that you can talk, hold hands and caress each other's faces. Your so damn adorable, he could just eat you up.
One of his favorite things, though, is when you slather yourself up with oil. Oh yes. There's nothing Jeffrey loves more than seeing your gorgeous body glistening smooth and slippery. He enjoyed sitting back, licking his lips while watching you languidly touch yourself. It drove him mad.
After enjoying the show you put on, Jeffrey would sit up and touch you himself, squeezing and rubbing different parts of your body for as long as he pleased. Remember, he's obsessed with soft things, and when your body is oiled up it becomes prominent that he worshipped you for hours.
Some times Jeffrey's insecurities got to him, however, and he would refuse taking a bath with you. It took lots of lovin, gentle coaxing and praise, but you always won him over with your caring words and amazing acceptance. How could he ever ask for anyone better?
Ending a bath with Jeffrey usually involved lots of loving touches and cuddles, for you are his and he is yours.
Herman
The ultimate God of baths? Look no further than Herman Carter.
This man is unbelievably romantic and will have you wait in your bedroom until he has the perfect set-up created. Like a king/queen walking the red carpet, you would be presented with everything abundantly cheesy and romantic.
Dim lights, scented candles, freakin rose petals- all of it you would follow until you arrived at the bathroom where Herman lay beautifully naked and submerged in the bubbly tub, waiting for you.
Herman smiles at you and beckons you closer, enjoying the sight of you getting undressed right before his eyes. You're clumsiness while getting into the tub with him amuses him and fills him with fondness and joy. He loves spoiling you like this.
During bath time, Herman loves pulling you close and cradling you against him, his lips kissing whatever happened to be in reach- your lips, your face, the back of your neck, or your shoulders. He loved worshipping your body for every second that it was touching him.
Lots and lots of touching. Herman treats your body like it's made out of gold. Constantly he touches you, fondles you and massages you. Praise drips from his lips as he pulls you back against him and rubs his big, calloused hands up and down your chest. You're so beautiful, (y/n), and you're his.
Herman loves taking baths with you because it gives him the opportunity to be intimate under a new light. He got to spoil you, wash you, worship your body and make you feel good. Your happiness was all he needed to make himself happy.
Even though he doesn't want the bath to end, when it does, Herman rinses you off, helps you out and dries you off. Oh, don't think that just because the bath is over he still doesn't have a lot left to give.

YRG pt 7

“Is it- true?” One servant asked. The knight raised a brow, as he fixed his armor. “What?”
“That she’s alive? The princess? Why the king is gathering his army?”
The knight shrugged. “Does it matter? We obey the king. He tells me to sharpen my sword, I do. He tells me to clean the horse shit off his horse’s ass, I do.  He tells me to go to war with an enemy in a place no one knows? I don’t ask questions, I just fucking do. Or else he burns me to crisp. So I suggest you do the same, Berta.” The knight spat as he began polishing his sword, the servant leaving to join the rest of the busy workers, all running around the castle after Dabi had ordered that they were going to war. They didn’t know who or where they were going to war, and they didn’t dare ask the king, well aware of his temper. But they’d figured out this was supposed to be a rescue mission for you after they’d seen concubine Keigo finally sober up after weeks (if not months since your disappearance. Dabi forbade the word “died”) and he surprised them a little when he prepared (and he actually was good at it).
“Is the cavalry ready?” Dabi asked Shotou, who nodded. “Yes, as are the ships prepared to carry them. Well equipped and with enough space for everyone.” Dabi hummed in acknowledgement, before looking over the maps again, trying to figure out where exactly is AFO’s kingdom. The last time he went there was years ago when your mother was still alive. And at that time, he remembers going through land, but he cant find that route anymore, probably due to some quirk AFO used to hide his kingdom. “Did the spies find out where this mysterious island is?” Shotou shook his head. “Havent heard from them yet. They’re still at Emperor Kai’s castle, I should think that Kai isn’t announcing the whereabouts out loud. He’s not stupid.” Dabi shot him a glare. He knows Kai, knows he has spies there, all kings have spies in their homes. “Sure, but he is stupid enough to not come to me the instant that traitorous rat came to him.” Shotou was well aware of who he was referring to- your servant Tomura. “Well, then you know that if  the emperor is aware that you know that he’s also preparing for war with AFO,  then he must have a good reason for not telling you.”
“Yeah? What could possibly be a good reason to tell me that my daughter, my only child is alive?” Dabi was not in the mood to be accepting any excuses. “Don’t speak for others Shotou.”
The younger brother didn’t press further. “I still want to come along, help you find Y/n.”
Dabi shook his head. “I know you do, but you’re more helpful to me here. I cant trust anyone else with the kingdom while I’m away.” Shotou would bring up that their father, Enji, could help with overseeing kingdom affairs in their absence, but Dabi is already on edge as it is and… well Shotou’s not stupid.
“You’ll find her.” Shotou patted Dabi’s shoulder.
“I know.”
“Don’t be mad at her.”
A soft smile formed on his lips. “I’m not.”
At this point, all the man wanted was to wrap his arms around you and never let go.

The emperor had already reached the port. Kai remained on his horse as he watched his men board the remaining stuff on the ships, Hari by his side who made sure everyone was doing their job. Though Hari couldn’t help but let his eyes wander to Tomura who stood to the side, face expressionless, which annoyed Hari because he couldn’t read him.
How could he just stand there as if he hadn’t made the grave mistake of losing you, the emperor’s most important treasure?
Hari was well aware of Kai’s favoritism towards you, and anyone who really knew Kai would easily see why. Your innocence, naivety, everything- it reminded him of the emperor’s late daughter. Though Kai only came to know of her value when she was no longer in this world, Hari knew how much it pained him. The emperor may be good at covering his feelings, but Hari, his confidant knew- and saw what the emperor had gone through when he had lost his young one. That’s why Kai had been working day and night to find you.
That’s why Hari couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t just kill Tomura, the man who was responsible to bring you to the empire as promised.
But as much as he wanted Kai to reconsider killing the traitor, he knew better than to question his emperor.
With everything now loaded onto the ship, it was time for Kai to board it, only to halt when he heard the sound of horses galloping in distance.
Turning around, he saw black flags with blue flames-
“King Dabi.” Hari said, and Kai gave him a nod and Hari looked back at the soldiers, calling them to take position.
“Be alert! Protect the emperor!” The army took their position, pulling their weapons out, ready for a massacre.
Kai never broke contact as Dabi’s knights neared, neither did his neutral face expression change when he spotted Dabi looking furious on his mighty dark horse.
When Dabi and his men reached them, the silence from both sides were deafening. The rulers locking eyes with each other as soldiers on both sides could feel their hearts beating loudly.
Kai didn’t break a sweat as Dabi glared at him. Why should he when Kai isn’t doing anything wrong?
“Going somewhere?” Dabi sneered.
Kai gave a nod. “I am.”
“Where?”Dabi asked, the smile dropping.
Kai remained silent. It was clear that Dabi was aware of his secret rescue mission. All that remains now is whether Kai should lie and possibly cause a war right here, right now, or tell him the truth and cause a war right here, right now.
“To AFO’s kingdom. I’m going to rescue princess Y/n.”
It was so terrifyingly quite, that not even sounds of nature could be heard. As if the birds and the bugs, the leaves and bushes, they were all holding their breath in anticipation.
“Oh? So you’ve known where my daughter is all this time?” Dabi pulled out his sword, as did his men. “And you decided to keep this information from me?”
Kai held up a gloved hand, signalling his men to hold, to not attack. “The information is news to me as well. Princess Y/n’s royal servant Tomura came to me a few days back and told me about her whereabouts. I only didn’t tell you because I am not sure if this information is true as well.”
Dabi’s glare shifted from Kai to Tomura. “Why should I believe you when that traitor still has his head?”
“Tomura hasn’t been killed because he’s the only one who knows where the princess is. With him dead, the chances of ever finding her slim to none. He came to me instead of you because you would’ve killed him the moment he set foot in your kingdom.” Kai explained, watching Dabi’s eyes full of distrust shift between him and the servant. But with distrust, there was also doubt.
What if Kai is telling the truth?
The seed of doubt had been planted, and now was Kai’s turn to change the narrative.
With his hand pointing towards the ships, Kai spoke. “You’re welcome to join us, King Dabi. We certainly have enough space for you and your men. The more, the merrier.”
Dabi stared at him for a few seconds before snapping his fingers and his men began retreating. “No need, we have our own ships. You may give us the servant so he can lead the way.” With Kai’s orders, his men also began retreating as the emperor got off his horse to speak privately with Dabi, who had also gotten off his horse.
“That is a reasonable request, but I must deny it. You see, I cant risk you chopping off the head of the one person who knows where this mysterious kingdom is. You can follow us.” Kai said with a small smile.
“Follow you? The man who hid knowledge of my daughter’s existence? Every single fiber in my body is screaming at me to kill you and that traitorous bastard!”
“But Y/n-“
Dabi cut him off. “You think you care more about Y/n than her own father?”
Kai shrugged. “I said no such thing. But if these past months have been clear proof that you’re making actions based on your feelings, and right now, that is not the best strategy to save Y/n. I know you think I have ulterior motives, and if I were you, I wouldn’t believe a word coming out of my mouth. But we have to put our differences aside, Dabi. Don’t be so distrusting of the man you would send your daughter to for training. Besides-” The emperor’s smile dropped. “-everyone knows about your strained relationship with Y/n. I’ve heard the last spat between you two was… very damaging. And for who?”
Who- referring to the little feathery whore Keigo.
“Careful, Kai. I can still bury your empire right here, right now.” Dabi threatened.
Kai didn’t waver. “You could try, but now is not the time to be blinded with your emotions.” He turned around, but casted a glance back. “And lets not kid ourselves, Dabi. You and I both know my men can harm you just as much. But Y/n wont benefit from unnecessary bloodshed.”
Dabi grit his teeth as he watched Kai return to his ship. The emperor puts on his gilded beak mask on.
If Dabi ever thought it was okay to prefer a concubine over his own daughter, then maybe I do care for Y/n more than her own father.
-
Soon enough, Dabi and his men, accompanied by allies like Bakugo and the barbarians, and Empresses Momo and her army set sail, following closely behind Kai’s ships.
Dabi stood on the starboard of the ship, gazing downwards at the water. His mind is occupied by multiple things- you, AFO, Kai’s intentions with you, the supposed “allies”, military strategies, but mostly you.
Are you well? Are you hurt? Do you miss him? Are you still mad at him-
“Dabi?” Keigo called, coming beside him. “What are you doing here? Come inside and eat.” Dabi didn’t move, and Keigo could see that his mind was elsewhere.
Wrapping his arms around Dabi, he kissed his ear. “We’ll find her, Dabi.” Keigo whispered. “We’ll find her and we’ll bring her home and then we will have a huge celebration and everything will be alright again.”
“None of this would’ve happened if I didn’t yell at her.”
Keigo looked at Dabi and he could see the guilt swimming in his eyes. “If I just hadn’t- made her angry, let her go- she would’ve been safe.” He paused. “What happened to us? She- she used to love me, was a proper daddy’s girl, Kei. Her eyes would lit up whenever she saw me and I would pick her up and waltz. She would tell me about her day, ramble on and repeat everything twice. But now… she won’t even speak to me more than a few words- those too out of courtesy and respect for the crown. Not me. She loathes me- I can feel it. And it fucking hurts because I know I’m the one who created this distance between us.”
“Dabi-”
“I put my only child in harm, Keigo. This is all on me.” He confessed remorsefully.
The two of them remained silent, the ocean air blowing through their hair.
Until Keigo dug his nails into Dabi’s arms. “Then you will find her.”
“Kei-“
“No.” Keigo pursed his lips. “No- I refuse to let you- you must find her Dabi, more so now. You must- you must and make amends with her. All is not lost. We can- you can still have everything. Y/n- she needs us right now, and when we find her, she will need you and she will love you more, and she will think the world of you. So get it- collect yourself. Be at one with yourself and find Y/n. I don’t care who you have to hurt, what you have to kill, burn the whole fucking world as long as you bring Y/n home.” He looked at Dabi, the king who’s pupils had dilated. “You understand? Fucking promise me Dabi-!” Keigo spat but was cut off as Dabi crashed his lips against his, Dabi’s heart swelling with love at hearing how much Keigo adored you.
“I promise you.”

“Position the cavalry here, and make sure the archers are present here. Make sure that there are soldiers surrounding the parameters of the island. The enemies could attack from any side.” AFO ordered his generals as he discussed military strategies. With Tomura escaping, AFO knew that he would be leading Dabi right to the island. But AFO was not worried. Not at all. He was prepared, and even if Dabi brought a couple of allies, they wouldn’t be able to defeat his army of Nomus.
What he was worried about was, well, you. Ever since your failed escape attempt, you’d been crying and refusing to eat anything at all. Your hunger strike is doing nothing but harm your own health.
And now that he sees a servant that was sent to your room with food return with a distressed look, AFO sighed. “She didn’t eat, did she?” The servant bowed before replying, “No, my King. The princess- she refuses to eat lunch. And the dinner sent to her last night, it also remains untouched.” AFO closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. How much longer will you keep this up? He cant focus on the war when all he can stress about is if you’ve eaten or not?
Sensing the distress of the ruler, Kurogiri stepped up to help. “My King, if you allow, may I handle this matter?”
AFO knows you’re not… exactly fond of him or Kurogiri at the moment but… what else can he do now?
He nodded.
Its worth a shot.

The Nomu watched in silence as you laid on the floor, tear streaks now dried on your cheeks, hair unkempt and greasy, complexion sickly pale, disheveled appearance over all. A chain around your ankle, long enough for you to move around the room, yet you continue to lie on the floor, mostly because you just don’t have the energy to get up. The lack of nutrients and dehydration, it was starting to take a toll on you, not only physically but mentally as well. How do you know?
Well, for starters, you could see your dead mother standing in the corner.
“Y/n?” She called out. You blinked.
She was right next to you, on her knees, a very concerned look on her face.
“Mama?”
“Oh baby, what have you done to yourself?” She whispered, blowing cold air on your sweaty forehead.
“Mama?”
“Hm?”
“Don’t leave me.”
“I cant stay for long, Y/n but-” She smiled sadly. “-I’m here now.”
You smiled back at her, even though you knew she wasn’t real, you still believed for a moment that she was.
“Y/n.”
“Yes, mama?”
“Have you been taking care of dad?”
“Mine? No. Yours? Also no.” You mumbled. “Dad and I fought, we always fight it seems. And grandpa? I- well- I’m mad at him. He kept me here, created more misunderstandings between me and dad and now wants to kill dad for revenge and apparently for “my sake” too.”
She brushed your hair with her fingers. “Seems like you’ve been busy.” She booped your nose. “Still, you’re the only one who can fix it all.”
“How?”
“You’ll figure it out. But the war mustn’t happen, Y/n.”
“Easy for you to say.”
“Well I am a figment of your imagination, aren’t I?” She chuckled. You smiled as well. You missed her laugh. Its so delicate.
“I have to go now, baby.” She whispered, a cold kiss pressed to your cheek.
“Mama?”
“Hm?”
“I miss you.”
“I know, honey.” She pointed at the door. “You have company, darling.”
Just then, the door slammed open and your pupils widened at the sight of him.
“Y/N!”
Dabi.
“Dad?”
He rushed towards you, eyes wild as he took in your form. “Oh my- are you hurt?! What did he do?!” He asked checking you over for injuries. You looked so weak, as if the air itself was harsh enough to hurt you.
“You’re here.” You whispered. Dabi’s eyes softened, as he nodded. “I am. And I’m sorry that it took so long. But I’m here now, and I’ll get you out of here. Can you stand?”
With tears of relief in your eye, you shook your head. “I- I cant. Too tired.” Dabi nodded again before pulling out his water container, supporting your head as he helped you hydrate. “Better?” You hummed, smiling at him weakly as he laid your head in his lap. You missed him.
“I have an energy cube- this.” He pulled out a small blue cube. “It should give you enough energy to walk. I’d carry you, but I cant use my quirk without hurting you.” He pushed the cube towards your lips. You turned your head away. “It stinks. Like shrimp.”
He chuckled. “So? Come on, eat it. Then we can get out of here.” You stared at him, brows knitting together.
“Are you still mad at me?” you asked, voice barely above a whisper.
Dabi smiled sadly. “I never was, Y/n. I never truly could be. You- you’re a part of me-” “-and mom.” “-and your mom. You’re my daughter, my pride and joy, my most treasure jewel. You’re the most precious to me, Y/n.”
“I-.” You smiled sadly, nuzzling into him. “- can I ask you something? If you allow-“Always.”
“Did you- did you visit her? Mom?” You asked softly. “I know- you don’t like her, nor do you believe in talking to the dead but… I just wanted to know if you visited the royal cemetery behind my back? The caretakers sometimes forget to clean her tomb.”
Dabi looked into your hopeful eyes, his blue orbs just taking in your appearance. “I did.” He answered. “I talked to her, well I mostly confessed, begged her and god to help me find you. Don’t worry though, the caretakers looked well after the cemetery.” He brought the energy cube to your lips again. “Now, eat this so that we can get out-”He was cut off by you smacking the cube out of his hand and laughing dryly at him.
“Do you take me for a fool?”
Dabi’s brows furrowed. “Y/n-”
“Princess Y/n. How dare you talk to me like we’re equals?!” He shook his head, his hand coming to cup your cheek but you pushed yourself away from him, practically throwing yourself away.
“How dare you try to touch me?!” You shrieked. “HOW DARE YOU PRETEND TO BE A KING, YOU IMPOSTOR?! SHIFT BACK NOW! SHIFT OR I SWEAR TO GOD, I WILL DECAPITATE YOU MYSELF!! SHIFT!” The door opened and Kurogiri walked in. He nodded at Dabi.
“You can leave now, Himiko.” The impostor shifted back to a blonde girl. You remember seeing the servant before, when she helped Tomura with ironing your clothes. Kurogiri kneeled in front of you, looking at you with a slightly unamused look you imagine. “How’d you know?” How? How are you to explain that you know your father well enough to know that he would never visit your mother? How do you explain that he hated her so much that he didn’t even think she deserved to be buried in the royal cemetery, but rather in an unguarded, unmarked grave without anyone but you and Tomura to care for?
You laughed dryly at him. “What? You didn’t think I wouldn’t recognize my own father?” Kurogiri shrugged “You haven’t been showing many signs of intelligence; escaping, defending your father, going on a useless hunger strike are just a few examples.”
“Its pissing you off. I’d say they were pretty intelligent decisions.”
“All you’re doing is worrying your grandfather. He can’t focus on the war because he’s concerned about you.”
“Good. I don’t want the war to happen.”
“The war is going to happen, King AFO will win and your father will die-“ “No-” “Yes. And deep down, you know your he deserves to die. You know that it’d better for you to stay here, because you will never be a priority to him, just like your mother never was.”
“Dad didn’t kill her-”
“Perhaps not. But he never loved her, he humiliated her and you publicly when he started sleeping with that concubine. He made your mother unhappy, he kept you in the dark about your maternal grandfather, refused to let him contact you- his only grandchild, his only heir to this kingdom, his- his daughter’s only reminder. Are these not crimes but punishable by death? King Dabi may have not directly killed your mother but he was an accomplice to the murder, he never believed, let alone punish his concubine. He didn’t even believe you, his own daughter, his blood and flesh! What father would allow a murderer around his own child? He does not care about you, never has and never will!” Kurogiri told you. “This war? He’s not fighting it to save you, he’s fighting it to hurt King AFO! You mean nothing to him!’
“No!” Tears escaped your eyes. “You don’t know anything! But I’m telling you to stop this war. If you don’t- countless lives will be lost! Innocent people will die!”
“The people are prepared to die. Not that they will, your dear grandfather is very strong. You shouldn’t underestimate him. He will defeat King Dabi, and he will avenge your mother.” He pulled out another energy cube, placing it on your bed. “Eat it or not, I’m going to tell your grandfather that you’re well. I won’t let your stubbornness distract him.” He turned to leave, halting at your voice.
“Kurogiri, please. This war… it cant happen.”
He looked over his shoulder. “Your father has been begging for a war for a long time. Its about time he pays for the consequences, princess.” He said before leaving.
One of the knights rushed into AFO’s busy court, just as Kurogiri returned. AFO of course looked at Kurogiri first, the latter’s calm demeanor assured the king that he had taken care of the errand he was given. Then he looked at the knight who was trying to catch his breath.
“A-apologies for running in unannounced, my king! But they’re here!” He took a large gulp of breath in to compose himself.
“King Dabi is here!”
The court went silent as they looked to their king, awaiting his panic for Dabi had reached earlier than expected. But AFO remained collected, nodding his head as he turned to address his court.
“Prepare yourself. Alert the people about this as well, so that they may take necessary measures.” He started giving out orders to his generals, pausing to tell Kurogiri to release the several Nomus that are under his control.
“They won’t hurt my subjects, assure the people of that will you?” Kurogiri bowed his head before teleporting to carry out his orders.
By the time he returned, AFO sat alone on his throne, wearing his armor. Kurogiri walked closer to him, and couldn’t help but notice a certain amount of sadness in his eyes.
“Your majesty?” He called out, but AFO didn’t look up at him.
“Y/n reminds me so much of her.” Ah, the late queen. “From the way she looks, to her having the same mannerisms, the same affection for animals-” AFO chuckled. “-they even have the same furrow in their brows when their mad. Y/n… she’s just like her isn’t she?” Kurogiri agreed, because he thought so too. In fact, if it weren’t for your painfully annoying naivety, your rebelliousness, your incessant need to defend Dabi and your urge to make everything unnecessarily difficult for your grandfather, he’d say you were your mother reincarnated.
“I wanted to see her, talk to her one last time before leaving, just to assure her that I’d win, that she need not to worry her head over this matter because I’d take care of everything. Because I’d protect her. But-“ AFO paused, as if the words got caught in his throat. “-I couldn’t. I couldn’t because she’d beg me not to. She’d cry and cry and I just cant- I cant go to war with the sight of her like this Kurogiri. She used to cry like that for him too; my daughter- and now Y/n. They were always blinded by their pure hearted nature, always loved that bastard too much to see that he does not care about them.” Kurogiri will never forget the day your mother had died. King AFO, he was absolutely crushed. He had never seen him like this, the look of utter despair, utter defeat, as if someone had dethroned the king and cut off his limbs with an axe and left him to be feasted on by vultures. The king loved his daughter very much. She was the apple of his eye, his light, his only heir. He never wanted her to marry Dabi, but when she claimed that she had fallen in love with him, he couldn’t help but give in. He would’ve given her the world if she’d asked, but just a few months into the marriage and AFO sensed that he may have made a grave mistake. He gave her several opportunities to escape that marriage, to help her leave that ungrateful bastard, but despite everything, your mother just smiled and continued to claim that she loved Dabi until her last breath. AFO doesn’t know for sure if your mom really loved Dabi as much as she claimed to, especially after concubine Keigo came into the picture. He thinks that you may have been the main reason why she stayed in that unhappy marriage. Perhaps she thought that by birthing Dabi a heir, she might get the love and respect she deserves. But Dabi… he didn’t get rid of Keigo, or even tried to hide his affairs, not even for your sake. You were a child, a product of a broken marriage. AFO wasn’t sure how he felt about you initially, mostly because he thought you’d tied her daughter down in this nightmare of a marriage. But the first time and the only time your mother brought you over to her homeland, AFO (as well as others) were immediately enamored by you. You looked like your mother when she was an infant. When he first held you in his arms, he knew instantly that he was wrapped around your tiny finger for the rest of his life. He swore to himself and to your mother that he would protect you for eternity. But then, Dabi had the audacity to forbid you from visiting AFO, and a few years later, he banned AFO from ever visiting his kingdom, effectively cutting his contact with you, his only grandchild.
That should’ve been enough reason for AFO to start a war with him, but your mother managed to convince him otherwise, promising that she’ll talk to Dabi about this matter.
Later that year, your mother was killed.
And AFO never truly recovered from that loss. What father could?
“This war, she thinks isn’t necessary. She thinks I’m some monster who has it out for her dear father. But she’ll never accept it that Dabi- he isn’t participating in this war to save her. He’s coming because he wants to hurt me. He wants to take her away from me and rub it in my face that she will face the same fate as my daughter did. He wants to take her away so that he can tell me that I failed to protect them both.” He finally looked at him. “I won’t make the same mistake again, Kurogiro. I wont.” AFO stood up from his gilded throne. “I will kill Dabi today, and I will win this war. Your job is to protect princess Y/n. Teleport her to safety if need be.” Kurogiri bowed his head, as AFO continue. “And if things go south due to some unforeseen circumstances, I want you to prioritize Y/n’s life over mine.”
Kurogir’s eyes widened. “Your Majesty, that won’t be-“
“I know, but still. I want you to promise me, Kurogiri. Her life over mine. Prioritize Y/n over me.”
Kurogiri bowed, placing a hand over his heart.
“I promise, my king.”

AFO watched the shore from a distance, his army in position with him. His main order was to distance the enemy away from the castle where you were trapped in, guarded by a Nomu, some knights and Kurogiri.
“They’re near, my king.” One of the generals said, watching through his binoculars. “I count about 300 ships, about 200 baring King Dabi’s flag, 70 belonging to the imperial house of Yaoryuzu, while 30 belong to some barbarians.”
AFO didn’t respond for a few moments, simply staring ahead, before his lips quirked ever so slightly. “There’s more. Look again.” He said. The general was confused but he looked again, now with a few soldiers also searching the waters, tilting their heads a little and that’s when they saw it.
Like a mirage in the desert, when the heat starts to play tricks on your eyes, the wind dancing around to create an illusion, they were able to make out the faintest silhouette of very large fleet. It was as if there was a curtain, produced by nature to hide the enemy.
But AFO knew better. It was no natural phenomenon, but actually an invisibility quirk.
Tomura had mentioned about an emperor who was going to take you in before you came here. Perhaps, its him.
Its time to put an end to all of this.
AFO began giving out orders. “Prepare the canons! Archers, take position! Sakura regiment and Ume regiment, take formation A and charge forwards at command!” The soldiers took their respective positions, holding their breaths as they awaited the king’s next command. AFO wanted to attack first, end the war before it could really begin.
AFO counted down as Dabi’s ships came closer.

I love you, Y/n.

“FIRE!” The canons blasted, followed by- “DRAW!” The arrows flew, but neither the cannonballs nor the arrows ever hit the enemy because they all disintegrated in the sky high fire wall surrounding the entire perimeter of the island.
“What the…” The soldiers, and even AFO was momentarily shocked, and the enemy used that element of surprise to strike. One second the boundaries of the island were surrounded by hellish blue flames, and in the next, thousands of men suddenly lunged through the fire, completely unharmed and charged towards AFO’s army from all directions. On his left, he saw loud explosives going off in the sky, and he immediately spotted the brash blonde roaring as his hands fired blasts after blasts.
Must be a barbarian.
He heard another loud crash behind him, and there he spotted a massive army comprising mainly of female warriors, who were being led by a fierce woman wearing red and gold armor, indicating that she belonged from the imperial house of Yaoryuzu.
And then he heard the screams.
Whipping his head back to the front, he saw the villager’s house up in blue flames, Dabi appearing through the smoke, a manic grin on his face as he locks eyes with him.
Of course, leave it to Dabi to attack the women and children first. He’s a heartless bastard.
With a wave of his hand, heavy clouds appeared over the burning houses and poured rain. AFO’s face remained neutral as Dabi began inching his way closer to him, slaughtering anyone and everyone that stood in his way, even his own men. AFO stared at him dead in the eyes before smiling suddenly because right in the next moment, a Nomu flew and jumped right onto Dabi.
Guess he’ll have to wait for a bit until he can kill Dabi.
Although Katsuki and Momo were tearing through the crowds, swinging their swords and killing enemies easily, and had this been any other war, they might've even enjoyed it. But right now, all they could think about was finding you, both parties have the same motive but neither will attempt to work together to find you quicker. No, not when they wanted to play your "Knight in shining armour", because clearly, whoever saves the princess gets the favour of king Dabi and the love of princess Y/n. Clearly, when they find you, you will throw yourself at them and practically beg them to marry you.
Somehow they had found their way to the high towers where you were locked in, individually taking the opposite routes and hoping the other one dies before they reach you. They killed all the knights and the devoted servants that blocked their way until they stood at the opposite ends of the hallway, bloodied and staring at each other. Words did not need to be shared for the threat to heard-
Back off.
Of course, neither one would. Not when they're this close to making you theirs forever. The two charged at each other, swords drawn and quirks going off, all while neither one of them knew that Kurogiri had already teleported you to the secret passageways underground the moment he saw them coming for the hightower, and now all that was waiting for them in that room up there was the Nomu assigned to protect you.
So, whoever wins Bakugo VS Yaoryuzu battle will have to die at the hands of the Nomu.
Kurogiri almost wished he could watch it all unfold with AFO.
But no, he has to carry you to safety- he promised his king. He paid no mind to you sluring out threats as you went in and out of consciousness, clearly still persistent on starving yourself.
"I'd kill you... my dad- d-dad will kill you and the the- villagers-" you mumbled, eyes closed as your cheek rested against his chest, the man carrying you in his arms.
"Yeah? And then what?" He hummed.
"He'll kill- kill everyone and- and burn thi-s place to- to the the ground and it'll be-" you choked on a sob "-it'll be all my fault!"
"Well, you don't need to worry about that. Your grandfather is a skilled fighter, he will easily decapitate Dabi. Have some faith!" He cheered while you whined into his shoulder. "Now, now, princesses don't whine. I must say, I am excited for your princess training when the war is over. I'll personally see to it that you learn all the manners and ethics of royalty, your father didn't do a good job at finding you a good teacher."
"The late queen appointed me as her teacher, personally. You would be wise not to say anything about the princess's training lest you want a painful death, Kurogiri."
You both looked behind at the source of the voice, opposite emotions coursing through you both as you caught sight of him-
Tomura Shigaraki.
"Tomu~" you whispered, getting teary eyed as you looked at the once gentle eyed, lanky armed, always presentable, invisible servant to now a far more bulked up warrior with his hair unkempt and his eyes wild yet clear.
Kurogiri didn't waste another second as he opened the warp gate and teleported you out of there, Tomura calmly promising you that he'll find you soon. While it would've been easy for Kurogiri to escape along with you, he preferred to deal with Tomura now and be done with it.
Tomura charged at the man, and Kurogiri had his sword drawn out, teleporting just when the former neared. The shadowed man appeared around him and sliced the skin on his arm.
"So weak, its pathetic. How you were allowed to be near the princess is beyond me." Kurogiri said, dodging the swing of Tomura's blade, before kicking him in the stomach, making the latter cough blood. "You were never strong enough to be the princess's guard, or a servant. But I always did think that you'd be smart-" Tomura grunted before quickly jumping and stabbing the sword into Kurogiri's abdomen, but the taller man remain unfazed. "-Guess not." Kurogiri said, before swallowing the sword into his body, warping it to an unknown destination, Tomura's eyes going wide as his hand started to get warped too, but then... he smiled. A sinister grin stretched on Tomura's face as he spoke.
"And your biggest mistake Kurogiri is that you underestimate me." He said before grabbing Kurogiri's neck brace with both hands and disintegrating it until he reached his neck, destroying it too.
Kurogiri was now a pile of ashes at Tomura's feet.
What a waste... of my time.
Tomura thought before he began looking for you again.
On the other side of island, right in the middle, Dabi had just spent the last hour fighting the Nomu that was cannon balled on him. He finally defeated the monstrosity, and it had taken a slight toll on his body. And since AFO saw the battle, he was more than happy to send a couple more his way.
While Dabi began fighting those brainwashed giants again, AFO's mind was still preoccupied by the enemy fleets that were hiding behind an invisibility quirk. They were still nowhere to be seen, and AFO could sense they were plotting something.
AFO looked towards his castle, thinking whether he should call Kurogiri and deal with this hidden enemy and also check up on you, but decided against it because he did not want anyone to know where you were.
He looked back towards Dabi, to see if he'd been crushed to death or not, but instead found him hovering up in the sky, body ablaze and his eyes staring right back at him.
And then... he flicked his wrist.
In just a few seconds, the entire island was covered in smoke. It was dark and suffocating, and when AFO heard people screaming in pain, he could only imagine the horrors Dabi was inflicting on them.
The thick black air made it impossible to see more than just a few steps ahead, and everyone was swinging their swords at anyone and everyone, and those who weren't fighting, were killed by the lack of air.
AFO used his quirks to aid him in breathing and killing, years of training finally coming to use. But truthfully, he couldn't see where he was going even with his quirks. And that's how he ended up in front of you.
You were lying on the ground, unconscious, the side of your head bleeding slightly because after Kurogiri teleported you, your knees buckled and you hit your head on a tree branch.
With neither Kurogiri nor Nomu in sight, AFO couldn't help but wonder what possible trouble could've found them to leave you so dangerously near the battlefield.
AFO kneeled and placed his hand on your cheek, activating his quirk so you'd be able to breathe and not inhale the deadly fumes your father has spread.
He caressed your cheek, silently praying that you didn't inherit your mother's asthma. AFO was sure you hadn't, from the detailed reports he had gotten you never mentioned anything, but... he wouldn't put it past Dabi not to notice you dying to catch your breath.
Poor baby. AFO sighed before calling one of the Nomus (through telepathy) to come. He'd need someone to carry you to safety while he fights.
"Get your filthy paws off her!" Someone yelled from above, AFO barely missing the sharp feather that shot past him.
Keigo.
The winged concubine was hovering above him, wearing battle armour, a sharp contrast to the whore clothes he usually wears. The king remembered him from the last time he visited his daughter at Dabi's place, trying her absolute best to contain her tears while Dabi refused to welcome AFO because he was "busy with important affairs", only for them to hear Dabi and Keigo committing adultery in the court room, your mother hanging her head down in shame as she ushered AFO to move so that she could show him your nursery.
AFO never forgot nor forgave the humiliation he and your mother had to face, and it was even more insulting when he finally saw the bitch Dabi was sleeping with. AFO did consider at first that your father must be either blind and deaf or under the affect of some quirk to be brainwashed enough to think that Keigo was an acceptable replacement for your mother, or even for royalty. It wouldn't be wrong to say that years of resentment had AFO plotting for revenge against him as well.
Another feather shot past him, AFO only tilting his head slightly to dodge the arrow.
The corner of AFO's lips quirked a little.
This ought to be fun.
AFO looked back at your face, still unconscious, and a small part of him wished you'd be awake for this. You'd definitely enjoy this. Oh well.
"I said, get the hell away-!" Keigo's voice got caught in his throat, as if some invisible force was squeezing his throat. Like a fish out of water, Keigo thrashed in air, his hands on his neck trying to release the compression so that air could reach his lungs.
Without looking away from you, AFO spoke.
"Dont yell. I don't want you to disturb my granddaughter." He flicked his wrist and a small domain formed in which all of Dabi's smoke was vacuumed out instantly. The sky was clear, and so was the way he was about to torture Keigo.
AFO further constricted Keigo's throat, making him start to turn blue. In retaliation, he shot many of his feathers at AFO, raining down at him like arrows, but they stopped mid air before they could ever reach him.
"Now that could've hurt Y/n. Involuntary manslaughter... how should I punish you for that?" The king thought outloud, getting up on his feet and looking at the bird that was gurgling for air. "Perhaps, return the attack?" The feathers that had stopped mid-air slowly turned to face Keigo, all glintingdangerously. AFO grinned before suddenly opening his hand (that were controlling the feathers), prompting the feathers to shoot at Keigo.
The feathers revolved and attacked Keigo from all directions, and Keigo felt like he was trapped in a hurricane full of sharpened knives that slashed his skin from all sides.
A few moments later, the feathers stopped and Keigo fell to the ground with them. His armour had protected him from most stabs, but he was still bleeding.
"On to your next offence- killing my daughter and humiliating the royal family. Now, I don't have any evidence for the former except that Y/n accused you, and I don't really blame you completely for either crime because Dabi was mainly involved in it, you were just following orders. Still-" He sighed. "- You were an assailant. You assisted in a crime against royalty, you deserve to be punished." AFO flicked his index finger, lifting Keigo up in the air.
"I've always wondered what Dabi saw in you. Surely, there are prettier sluts than you- thats why he keeps his harem around, eh? It couldn't be possibly that you're strong or smart... and then it clicked! It's those larger than life wings of yours. The fiery red wings that compliment his blue flames. And not to mention how rare your quirk is... haven't seen any other winged humans that could actually fly. And knowing Dabi, that's all he views you as- a rare antique to own. A bird to keep in a gilded cage, if you will. So, thats how I'm going to hurt you and Dabi-" AFO chuckled, his hands making small movements to spread open Keigo's wings.
"I'm going to pluck you like a chicken."
AFO snapped his fingers as feathers began to be pulled slowly, one at a time, from the base painfully, making Keigo scream in agony.
You'd finally woken up by the sound of screams, heart pounding as you saw Keigo strung up in the air with his feathers being pulled out.
Too weak to move, you didn't realise someone was behind you until they covered your mouth, eyes widening in terror before calming down when you saw it Tomura. Placing a finger on his lips telling you to remain quiet as he began lifting you up to carry you out of there, only to stop when you let out an audible gasp as you looked behind him.
Nomu. The one AFO had called just minutes ago.
Tomura only had to take one careful step back to make it banshee scream, making Tomura drop you back down to cover his ears. At the monster's scream, AFO looked back, eyes narrowing at the sight of your traitorous servant.
"Oh, it's just you." He looked at Nomu nodding his head at Tomura. "Take care of him, will you?" You flinched when Nomu punched Tomura, throwing him far away from you. Tomura fortunately softened his landing and jumped back up, pulling out his sword. In order for Tomura to disintegrate the Nomu, he needs to get his hands on him long enough for him to turn into ashes but just before Nomu can crush his skull.
"Dont..." you whispered, eyes fixated on Tomura fighting for his life. Your gaze shifted to AFO,tears forming in your eyes as your lips wobbled. "Please... not him..." you begged, AFO's heart melting a bit at your pitiful sight. He'd give you the world if you'd ask, but getting rid of anyone that stood in his way to protect you was necessary. "Grandpa, please! I promise, I'll be- I'll be good! I won't leave! Ever! I'll do everything you say, just don't hurt Tomura! Please-!"
"Stop it, Y/n. The sovereign never begs." You heard someone say from behind you, making you turn your head to look at the familiar voice.
Dabi stood behind you.
"Have you learnt nothing from princess training? Or has someone been polluting your mind?" He looked at you, his gaze stern but you could see the way they lighted up when he saw you.
Daddy's here.
"Dad." You breathed out. His eyes softened visibly at the word. Oh how he had longed to hear that name again.
He smiled briefly at you before looking back at AFO and then at Keigo, who was still being tortured.
"Let him go. This is between you and me." Dabi said, hands set lighting up.
AFO raised a brow. "How brave of you to man up." He said before throwing Keigo so hard that his body slammed against a big tree, knocking him out. He looked at his Nomu and pointed at Tomura and Keigo. "Get rid of them both. Protect Y/n."
Dabi then launched multiple fireballs at him while AFO jumped back, dodging them all while making sure that you don't get hurt in the crossfire.
Seeing that as Keigo was unconscious and Nomu's full attention was on Tomura, you knew you had to butt in before it kills him.
With all your might, you got on your feet and staggered towards them, picking up one of Keigo's feathers. With unfocused eyes, you walked towards the Nomu, gripping the feather harder as you neared.
"Princess!" Tomura yelled. "Stay back! Stay back, Y/n!" Hearing your name, the Nomu turned around, only to find you holding the razor sharp feather against your neck.
Eyes cold, you stared at the Nomu.
"If he dies, so do I." You threatened, the Nomu's eyes widening. "I'll fucking do it, I swear to god I will. I'm so tired of this "protect Y/n" bullshit, I'm gonna end this stupid thing right here, right now." You slowly inched near the monster. "I should've died, should've killed myself years ago, right after mom died. You all failed to save her, made her life a hell, just like mine is now. My death, my doom is inevitable. But no one else should suffer because of me." You closed your eyes, hands moving to drag the deadly weapon across your neck when the Nomu screeched, falling to its knees, continuing to screech long after you'd dropped your feather.
The Nomu began crying, fat tears dropping down its face as you hugged it, the mutant wrapping its buff arms around you and lifting you up and close.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry I had to do this, but you wouldn't have listened otherwise." It- or well, his tears continued to wet your clothes as you patted his head, and you signalled Tomura not to activate his quirk and kill Nomu. "Its okay, I'm- I'm okay. But you can't protect me without protecting the people I care about. Do you understand what I'm saying?" The Nomu sniffled before nodding, almost like a child. "I care about Tomura, and I care about the villagers. So you must go back to the villagers. The village is under attack, and its burning down. Won't you save them for me? Protect the people I care about?" The Nomu seemed hesitant to leave you at first, but you continued to manipulate him. "If something happens to them, I'll never forgive myself. I'll die-" that was enough for Nomu to agree and leave you behind with a very heavy heart, only after you convinced him that Tomura wasn't a threat.
As soon as the Nomu left, your knees buckled and Tomura caught you before you could fall on your head. "That was... incredibly stupid." He commented. You smiled lazily, nuzzling your cheek against his chest. "I missed you too, Tomu." He pulled you closer to his chest in response, having trouble mustering up the words to express how sorry he was for taking so long, to apologise for not recognising AFO's intentions from the beginning, for being the reason why everything was happening.
But you just looked up at him, staring into his eyes with a soft expression as you whispered "Its okay, Tomura. Its not your fault." And just like that, all was well in the world.
But your happy reunion didn't last long, as Tomura sensed that you were in danger, and in the next second, he'd spun you around to the other direction, gasping as the air got knocked out of him.
You pulled away from him immeadiately, eyes bulging at the large red feather protruding from Tomura's stomach.
"I-" Tomura coughed up blood before falling to his knees, you quickly catching his head before it could hit the ground. Tears falling down your face, you found it hard to breathe as you stared at the crimson staining his shirt
"I knew you'd move." Keigo's voice made you look up, confusion evident on your face. Did he... do this? Keigo walked towards you two, smiling warmly yet with an unsettling look in his eyes, before he grabbed you by the shoulders and hugged you. "I know it looked like I was aiming for you, but I wasn't, love. I could never hurt you!"
Oh no.
You pushed away from him, sobs wracking your body as you tried to help Tomura but far too perplexed as to whether or not you should pull out the feather stabbing him.
But you weren't given much time to ponder upon it as the moment your hands touched his blood, you were instantly yanked back.
"Oh no, honey. You can't let yourself get dirty by his filthy blood. Your father will think you got hurt. Come on, now. Don't fight me on this. Let's go back to the ship." Keigo cooed as he began pulling you away from an unconscious Tomura, and you dropped to the ground to resist Keigo, but he continued to drag you by your arms before eventually picking you up and carrying you. And even though both of you knew that you were far too weak to escape his grip, you still struggled to break free.
Luckily for you, AFO was able to hear your distress calls for help. The moment you wailed to be let go, the instant you called out for Tomura, AFO's head whipped in your direction, veins popping at the sight of that murderer's hands on you, not even looking at Dabi as he blasted your dad away to a distance.
The mere sight of Keigo carrying you crying and sobbing pushed him over the edge, because for a moment he imagined it was his own daughter that was crying.
He is not losing you again.
The deafening sound of AFO's blast made Keigo look back, just to be punched in the face with enough force for him to drop you (as your grandfather caught you and placed you to the side) and land a couple hundred meters away. You immediately scrambled back to Tomura, but the sight of him lying in a pool of blood made you hyperventilate and cry as you prayed and begged for him to wake up while holding his hand in yours, heart dropping to the pit of your stomach as you realised....
There was no pulse.
Meanwhile, AFO jumped over to Keigo again, punching him over and over again until he was an unrecognisable pulp, before flipping him over and he began ripping out the rest of his feathers with his bare hands.
"HOW DARE YOU LAY HANDS ON HER?!" AFO roared, all sense of control out the window as he grabbed hands and snapped them like twigs, Keigo howling in pain.
Suddenly, AFO was kicked off the bird man, Dabi being the culprit of course, who was equally as blinded with rage as AFO.
The battle of quirks began, but as Dabi had one quirk and AFO had an amalgam of quirks, the winner here was clear.
Dabi's fire turned black as he surrounded the two of them with high walls of flames before releasing powerful fire based attacks, only for AFO to use his quirk to create a vacuum and suck out all the oxygen to not only put out the flames but also deprive Dabi of air.
With not being able to either use his quirk or breathe, Dabi didnt have any other choice but to try his luck with hand to hand combat, but the lack of air was getting to him and AFO was a skilled fighter who was able to dodge all of Dabi's punches before he fell to the ground clutching his throat.
AFO stood over him, years of hurt and anger poorly concealed on his face. "Suffocating, isn't it? You've only had to suffer through for a few minutes of something you made my daughter go through for years. For fucking years!" He punched Dabi, who was turning blue now. "She was my daughter, my beautiful daughter and she didn't do anything to deserve what you did to her! You and your slut killed her for what?! For hate? For jealousy? Even if you hated her, had you no heart to have mercy for the mother of your child!? Hell, you could've divorced her, left her, thrown her out of the damn castle if you hated her guts but you could've left her to me alive! YOU DIDNT HAVE TO KILL HER!" He grabbed Dabi by the collar, kicking him in the face. "I've waited to avenge my daughter for years. Today, you will die." AFO pulled out his sword, aiming at Dabi's neck to behead him.
"DROP THAT DOWN OR Y/N DIES!" Keigo threatened, who despite the beating he just took was standing on his feet with one of his sharp feathers against your neck. "I swear to fucking everything, if he dies, so will she!" He yelled as he yanked you by your hair back, and pressed the sharp edge harder against your skin.
AFO's eyes met your face, but you didn't even react as Keigo shook you by your hair, the catatonic state you'd just slipped into as your eyes never left Tomura.
"You wouldn't. You'd never live-" AFO's words died down as Keigo began dragging the feather, drawing blood. "STOP IT! Y/N- OKAY! OKAY!" AFO dropped his sword and released his quirk to allow Dabi to breathe, but AFO couldn't stop staring at you. It just- why didn't you struggle or even flinch at the blade being dragged across your neck, however superficially, it still must've hurt.
Did Tomura's death really affected you this much?
That blank face, that hundred yard stare- it all pained him greatly because it was exactly how he caught your mother when he saw her the last time. And it haunted him all these years that he was so powerless and blind to help his child. That she was so clearly in need of his help and he didn't save her.
But not you. No, no. Even if he has to rewind time itself, he will do so to help you.
"Y/n, Y/n, princess- look at me! I promise you- ill fix this! I'll fix everything! You want Tomura? I'll fix Tomura- just tell me what you want-" but AFO was left at a loss for words once more when you looked directly at him, with the same blank stare but with big fat tears rolling down your cheeks, as if to say that you've lost everything and it can't be helped.
You've failed to protect me.
AFO really did love you, with all his heart and that's why that hopeless, dead look in your eyes hurt him far more than the sword driven through his chest because his heart was already broken by your state. He was far too concerned with you to be aware of his enemy taking advantage of his distraction.
As Dabi began burning AFO, whispering things in his ear, AFO was for once slightly greatful to Keigo for covering your view of your grandfather being burned alive.
He did not want that sight of him to be in your memory.
With AFO being dead and no one to control mind control the Nomus, they stopped fighting and the remaining army of AFO, despite knowing that their king was dead still fought hard until the end to protect their new ruler- you. But with the large armies of the enemy and without Nomus help, they lost.
After finishing off AFO, Dabi walked towards you and Keigo, cold blue eyes staring at you before furrowing his brows as he pulled you in for a hug, you remained limp against him, even as he stroked your hair and said soft words of affirmation to you, giving Keigo a victory kiss.
With your eyes meeting Tomura's dead body, your mind allowed you the mercy of relieving you of consciousness.
Soldiers on both sides, along with the villagers that had now been captured, all watched as King Dabi carried his daughter with one arm, while his other supported Keigo's frail body, walking towards his ship, where his allies stood.
As he was about to climb on the ship, one of his generals asked "Your Majesty? About the prisoners of war, should we sell them or keep them as slaves?" He was referring to the army and subjects of AFO who were still alive.
Dabi didn't look up from your asleep face, smiling softly as you reminded him of when you were a baby.
"Burn them."
What? Even his own allies, even the barbarians, even the ever insane young Empress Momo was surprised at that. Surely, King Dabi would follow the code of conduct for war. Surely-
"Your Majesty-"
"Burn them. Burn it all. Burn the entire island." He then looked up at his assassins/spies Aizawa and Hizashi, nodding at them to see to it that his order is followed before boarding his ship, where Kai carefully took you from Dabi's arms to heal you while other healers came to help Keigo.
With Dabi and Keigo being bandaged and you lying on their in between them, they smiled and kissed once more, their victory only sweetening more with screams of people being burned alive in the background.
War is over.

hello, it is possible where the Reader is trying to leave for another country (For example, Russia) and at the same time use the Russian language (any language other than the native language) what should the platonic brother Keigo do

Keigo can’t wrap his head around the sudden interest in Russia/the Russian language. He doesn’t understand until one night at dinner you bring up how you were reading about a great job opportunity in the country.
“So…that’s what all this Russian stuff has been about? That’s why you’ve been on that language learning app and talking your head off about going there?”
You can’t help but note the betrayal threaded in his words like a carefully sewn blanket.
After how he’s raised you since your abusive father died when you were eight years old, he would never have expected this from you. Why are you being so ungrateful? You’re his baby songbird, his sweet little sister!
“Wait, Keigie, well…you can’t expect me to live here with you forever. I’m…my own person. I deserve to follow my dreams,” you begin in a bit of a timid rant.
Silence.
“Keigo, it’s not that I don’t appreciate you, I do. I love you so much, and I’m so grateful that you took me in after Dad passed instead of sending me off to an orphanage or some distant relative.”
More silence. It worries you even more now. Your finger tips fumble with the hem of your shirt, your teeth nibble slightly on your bottom lip.
You feel uncomfortably hot under his dark gaze.
“Nii-chan, I just want to live my life! Say something, please?!”
He snarls at you. Actually snarls with a curl in his lips and his eyes narrowed at you. “What? You can’t live your life here? Japan isn’t good enough for you? Your home isn’t good enough for you? I’m not good enough for you?!” He punctuates his last inquiry with the unfurling of his feathers as he stands up.
You can count the amount of times in your life you’ve seen your usually relaxed brother become stern with you on one hand, and it usually doesn’t lead down any good paths. You have to act fast, diffuse the situation as best you can.
“Kei-nii, this isn’t about you. I-” you struggle to swallow a breath as you sit up straighter in your seat, looking at him as he stands at the head of the table with both hands on the surface.
In this stance, with his head tilted to look down at you, with his bangs in his face, his naturally light and golden eyes take on a hint of charcoal with how most of his face casts out the light.
“This isn’t about me? Oh, I know this isn’t about me. This is about you acting like an ungrateful, spoiled, selfish little brat. You’re not going.”
Your eyes widen as big as the dinner plate in front of you. “You can’t decide that for me. I’m not a little kid anymore!”
He lifts his hand from the table to point an authoritative finger at you. “You’re not going.”
Pounding your fist against the wooden surface out of frustration, you stand up to go to your room. “I’m not having this discussion with you anymore. You need to calm down, Keigo,” you throw over your shoulder, moving towards the door to your sanctuary.
There’s a flap of wings, a rush of feathers. Scarlet bindings hold your wrists against the wall, tightening uncomfortably. With enough space to turn your head, your cheek squishes against the wall as you look at Keigo.
“What the hell are you doing?!”
“I’m making sure my baby sister doesn’t try to leave.”
You hear his feet pad against the floor, closing the distance between the two of you. He reaches into your pocket, pulling out your phone before stuffing it in his jacket.
“Don’t look at me like that. I’m only doing what’s best for you.”
You shake your head. “You’re delusional if you think this is what’s best for me!”
His brow quirks up. Keigo can’t help but let out a dry laugh. You look too cute, like an angry little cat. But even kittens have sharp claws.
He releases you from the makeshift cuffs and grabs your bicep, escorting you to your room before shoving you inside. He takes note of a bunch of things he’s going to need to take care of. For one, bars will need to go on your windows. Secondly, he’ll need to throw out your suitcase. You won’t be needing that. He’ll need to take the lock off of your door and install one on the outside. He makes a mental note of all these things as his eyes finish scanning your room.
Keigo looks back at you, finds the frustrated and bitter tears burning in your eyes, watches how they waver slightly as you try your best not to let them fall.
It breaks his heart to see you so upset, but he knows he can’t just let you go. It wouldn’t be good for either one of you. He’d be sick with worry every day if you were gone, and you would be so vulnerable, so unprotected.
There are horrible people in this world. Keigo knows just how cruel society can be. He won’t let anything bad happen to you. He’ll keep you safe, you just have to stay with him.
“If you try to leave this room, I will paddle you with one of my feathers.” He hopes you heed his warning so that he doesn’t actually have to punish you so brutally.
Never having been spanked by him before, you take a step backwards. The thought scares you, terrifies you even. He’s never raised a hand to you, and you really don’t want him to start now.
“So…what? You’re just gonna lock me up in my room now?”
“For the time being, yeah. I’ll let you know when you can leave.”
“I don’t want to stay here! This isn’t fair! I’m going to be an adult soon. You can’t just…you can’t do any of this to me!”
“I want you to think about this. Who’s the stronger one out of us?”
And you know it’s not you. You might be mentally stronger than your older brother, but you know very well mental strength doesn’t count in a fight. He’d beat your ass black and blue while you logically calculate the nearest hospital or analyze all of your wounds that you can take care of on your own.
“Well? Got an answer?” Keigo patronizes.
Crossing your arms and huffing, you glare at the floor, scuffing the carpet with your toe, feeling the fibers drag against the pad of your skin.
“You,” a mumble passes from your lips.
“What was that? Couldn’t hear you.” He crosses his arms and leans against your doorjamb.
Huffing, you turn your cold, hard glare on your big brother. “You, Keigo.”
“Yeah, it’s me. I’m the hero. I’m the one who saves people on a daily bases. I’m the one who fights more villains during the day than you can count on both hands. I’m more than capable of keeping you in this room if I want to.”
“But it’s not right!”
“But I don’t give a shit. You’re not leaving me. Understand?”
You find the bed, sitting down and letting your face fall into your hands. “This isn’t the life I want, Keigo. Please? Please, don’t do this to me!”
Yet Keigo palms the doorknob, giving you a glance. “Stay here or else.”
The door shuts firmly, locking from the outside. You glare at it through a new wave of tears, finally allowing them to fall now that you’re out of his presence.
Fuck, you really can’t stand your big brother.

Title: Your new home at Hawks's apartment
Characters: Hawks / Keigo Takami (Mainly), Miruko (My Hero Academia/BNHA)
Summary: After Hawks adopted you, you were shown to your new home a luxurious apartment that belongs to the pro hero Hawks.
Warnings/tags: Slowburn platonic yandere, fem!child!reader, smidge agnst, reader has a "healing" quirk, the obsessions themes are not obvious here but will happen at one point so just in case I am putting this here Note: Kind of a part 2, if you want to see part 1 head over to the list!
Little healer here! list
Tumblr media
Your tiny gasp as he leaped from the window of his apartment. Delighted you were laughing as you held on to his neck tightly as he told you but not enough to choke him.
"MISTER-SAN IS SO COOL!!!" You shouted at him as you looked down at the tiny buildings. You are so high up in the sky! Hawks was holding you in his arms as you two flew across buildings and houses.
You were so high up people looked like ants when they use to be so tall. Everything was so yellow.
"Hold on tight, kid and don't take of that mask it will be hard to see if you remove it."
The first place he went to was his agency. Everybody greeted him casually yet when they saw you almost everyone froze. They were so quick to assume that you were his daughter by blood.
"Was that why you left a few days?! To get her??"
"How come you haven't told us anything about you having a daughter!!"
"Why didn't you say anything!! She is sooo cute!!"
"What about the news articles?! What am I supposed to say here!!"
Hawks had to quickly silence them and explain to them that you were adopted and not his real "real" daughter. And when he wanted to introduce you to them it seemed that you have disappeared from his side to behind his leg. The suddenly loud voices surprised you a bit and when all of the people's eyes were on you you can't help but hide even more.
Why are you so cute??
"She wasn't this shy before... probably cause there are way too many people here. Come one kid introduce yourself."
Hawks had to slowly help you out into introducing yourself to his agency, shyly you told them your name almost hesitant when you said Keigo's family name. Dear really why are you so adorable?? The whole agency was practically cooing over you at how cute you were.
Almost instantly you were given soo many sweets and candies by everyone that you needed a plastic bag to carry them all. Keigo casually took the bag later unable to bare laughing as he watched you struggle to carry the plastic bag as big as you.
"Would you look who it is! Hawks!" You looked to your side to see a woman with bunny ears and the most mischievous smile. "Are you back from your holi-"
The woman looked at you surprised and you looked at her surprised, the both of you made eye contact. "So who is the unlucky woman you la-" "Shut up."
Hero name Mirko also known as Rumi Usagiyama, Hawks was quick to introduce the both of you also explaining that he had adopted you. "Ehhh what made you think you wanted to become a father so fast?" Mirko smirked at him crossing her arms. Keigo rolled his eyes.
"So little bunny, how is it living with pro hero Hawks?" Mirko asked squatting right beside you to get to your height. You looked at her rabbit ears curiously "It is fun! Mister-san is super nice and funny. He also made the best pancakes I ever tried!" You told her with enthusiasm.
"She is so cute, how the heck did you find her?" Mikro asked Keigo as she played with your cheeks. Squishing both of them, so puffy but still could use a little more fat in them. "Jealous?" Hawks huffed, a smirk on his face.
Mirko was about to say a witty comeback before she felt something odd in her arm. Fast she let go of your face jumping back, high alert as she looked at you cautiously. You covered your cheeks pouting adorably.
You did something, Mirko had dropped her guard just a little for a moment there while chatting with you. She felt as if something entered her veins.
"What did you do kid?" Mirko asked glancing at her hand. It was a strange feeling almost as if something was crawling in her veins. It wasn't uncomfortable, almost warm but... unfamiliar. "Mirko-san had a cut on her arm that looks painful." You grumbled.
Mirko quickly checked the cut it was true that she had a cut on her arm after some fight with villains this early morning. It wasn't really serious and she planned on getting it treated later but it was gone, all that was left was a thin line that told her it was not from her own imagination.
"Little Birdie here had a quirk that heals, she healed me when I got into a little trouble with some villains," Hawks explained, with a smirk this time on his face. "Her skills if trained properly can be on par with recovery girl's skills if not better."
The tension soon died down as Hawks explained how you and he meet and Mirko and Hawks started shooting jabs at each other. Mirko thanked you for healing her giving your head a little ruffle.
"She is so cute plus she can heal! Hey. Give little bunny to me I will be a better caretaker than you."
"In your dreams."
You and Keigo soon took your leave heading to the mall to buy a few things more for you and your room that he asked most to be delivered back. After heading to the market and buying some groceries you and Keigo started to head back to his apartment.
"Mister I wanna ask you something." You were sitting on his shoulders as you held on to his head. "Hmmm?" Keigo grunted allowing you to continue.
"You must be honest with me!" You looked down at him. Keigo wondered why you were asking this but nodded his head. "Did Mister adopt me because of my quirk?"
Unconsciously he paused mid-step unable to answer for a moment needing to think a little. But it seemed that his silence was enough for you to understand what was going on.
"It is fine Mister." You told him placing your small head on his head, "I understand." You told him.
You didn't give him a chance to answer.
It was something that maybe you may have come to expect seeing that your tone wasn't surprised at all. And somehow it surprised Keigo a bit at this reaction... would he call it mature he was sure but it left a guilty feeling, you were at such a young age but you didn't expect much from him...
It gave an ugly feeling inside.
And a certain fear that you have closed yourself from him now.
But what can he do now?
Your actions were the same as yesterday when you got to the apartment but even he knew how you weren't as talkative as yesterday. Silently going to bed after telling him how fun today was as it was your first time going to the arcade and that you will save enough tickets to get a friend for Mr. Hawks the hawk plushie. That you were thankful for the books and colored pencils that he got you. Especially that red bow pin that you told him looked like a red butterfly.
You didn't ask him to stay beside you while you go to sleep instead you were the one to close the door to your room when he thought that he must follow to keep you company.
It was hard for Keigo to sleep that night.
Too quiet.

Hear me out right quick,
Hawks with a teenage sidekick, 17 or 18 or so. One who's trained with him for years. Maybe he rescued them from the commission, idk. But they're inseparable. Hawks is like an older brother, and pretty much the only family Y/N has.
Despite how pong they've known each other though, Y/N doesn't like physical touch. He doesn't know why, and it hurts them every time they flinch away from his touch, but he doesn't press. He does things at their pace. He wants to keep his best friend comfortable.
So one day after a really rough solo mission, maybe Hawks goes to pick Y/N up from the hospital. He's all worried sick and when he just sees Y/N standing in the middle of a crowded hall, he's frozen in surprise when they hesitantly reach out towards him and steps forward before diving in to hug him.
He's shocked and afraid to hug them back, but once he realizes it's what they need, he hugs them so tight. He lets them sob into his shirt, and hold them as tight as he can. His head rests on the top of theirs, and he only let's go when they're ready. From there, Y/N holds his hand and clings to his arm. This is the most physical contact he's had with them in the years of knowing them, but he smiles when he realizes that this is their way of seeking comfort. And as much as he wants to hold them and never let them go, platonically of course, he's perfectly content lending them his hand when that's the only contact they're comfortable with.
Just something I though of because I myself dislike physical touch but find immense comfort in the occasional strong hug and clinging to one's hand. 100% self indulgent lol but it's fuel for thought.

Platonic Keene!Chubby!Reader who ends up being really good friends with Hawk?
Hawk would be apprehensive at first. Why should he trust Robby's sister? But he ends up seeing how cool she is. In his head, she's nothing like her brother. So they hangout a lot and end up becoming close.
When Robby and Hawk are at odds, Reader is not afraid to hangout with Hawk. Robby would hate it, constantly calling Hawk an asshole and talking bad about him. Hawk is more classy though because he knows he can't bad mouth Robby to his own sister. So they talk about other things. They spar and do karate sometimes, even though she's unaffiliated to any dojo.
Whenever she doesn't want to be at home, she goes to Hawk's house. His place becomes her refuge when her dad or brother get on her nerves. They get pizza and play video games until he has to drive her home.
She tells him everything and he ends up telling her a lot. She ends up understanding why he's so guarded and tough. When she opens up about her childhood and parents, he understands her a lot. He ends up being the closest person she has aside from her brother.
When he has good ideas, she supports him and when he's totally wrong or overconfident, she tells him so. He tries to pull her into activities, hangouts with friends, movies. He doesn't push her to karate unless she brings it up because he knows her dad tries to pull her into karate.
When she's talking about a guy she's into, he's her hype man. He tells her to go for it and she does but when it falls through, he's there for her.
"Whay happened?" he asks.
She rolls her eyes, pretending she isn't affected. "He said I'm not his type." Her tone says she's irritated, but her eyes are sad. She pulls her knees to her chest as she watches him play video games, sinking into his couch. "I know that just means he's not into fat girls. It's whatever."
The game pauses.
"This isn't whatever. Who is he?"
"Leave it alone, Hawk."
"No way. Where does he live."
"Calm down, dude. Jeez."
He's peeved but let's it go. He's mad that someone hurt her feels, made her put her walls back up and hid away. She doesn't want to talk about it and pull back from trying to date. So instead of dwelling on it, he takes her to the mall and they shop around a bit. He just wants to make her feel good about herself.
When Robby and him are on the road to being cool, he slips up and tells Robby about the guy that hurt his sister's feelings. And Robby takes this very seriously. I see them teaming up to make this guy, who she's already brushed off and moved on from at that point, pay for what he's done. And when she finds out they did something, she pulls Hawk away from her brother.
"You two obviously don't need to hang out," she huffs. She's not thrilled that they went behind her back and took revenge on the guy that rejected her. 😒 she's so not into her friend and her brother being friends if this is gonna be how they act. "I don't need you two 'defending my honor' or some bullshit."
She may be the bridge that helps Hawk and her brother be friends.

Thunder Storms and Cuddles.
Tumblr media
^that animation is amazing
ANYWAY
Keigo seems like the type of guy to babysit for a close friend because he owes them a favor from like really long ago
what he didn't expect was that that 'friend' now has a child and has been happily married for over 7 years.
what he didn't expect was that that 'friend' desperately needed someone to babysit said child for about 2 days
what he didn't expect was that he would be comforting a 3 year old at 4 in the morning on the couch to help them get through a particularly bad thunder storm.
the once soft pitter patter of rain had now turned into a raging storm. the rain droplets pounded at the glass of the windows, and the deafening clash of thunder could be heard all throughout the house, before simmering down to a light rumble.
whimpering, you cuddled further into keigo's pajamas, tightened your grip on his arm, and let out a little 'eep!' when you saw the lightning knowing what was to come next.
"now, now, (y/n), it's okay, it's only a sound, it can't hurt you." Keigo's voice seemed as smooth as butter as he gently petted your hair, patting it down and smoothing it out.
"how do you know Mr.Hawks!" you exclaimed a little pout slowly forming on your face.
"I'm Mr.Hawks, I know-" he was cut off by a loud clap of thunder that could only be described as boisterous, causing you to pull up one of his wings in defense,
if you listen closely, (which Hawks always does) you can hear the muffled sniffles from under Hawk's wing and if you concentrate, you can feel tears staining both his feathers and your cheek.
with a sigh, Hawks cupped your now slightly wet cheek making you face toward him.
"listen. I know it's scary, and I know you must be terrified, so please let me protect you. I want to help you, but first you need to calm down and tell me how I can help instead of crying okay? okay."
he picked you up and put you on his hip, "first let's get your little cheeks dry again and then you can have some cookies and we can talk about this."
that night was a good night.
that night, Hawks realized maybe your parents weren't the best people when it comes to raising a child. I mean, you're scared of thunder storms to the point you were crying when it thundered.
that night, Hawks realized murder isn't THAT bad.
that night, Hawks realized he wanted to be a father.
but only to you <3

A Feather for a Feather
Tumblr media
i literally just woke up, went "ooh sweet idea..." and then got up and wrote nearly 2k in 1h20 without a break, in one go. i was possessed with a muse ! but it felt good to let go again and just write

Today had been rough. Nothing had happened, that could explain his current feelings. So he flew.

Something about instincts wanting to flock to his kin.
Tumblr media
Today had been rough.
There hadn't been anything particularly awful... At least not more than usual. No particularly gruesome fights. No particular loss, only injuries that he couldn't have prevented, as they had happened before he'd arrived. If anything, for once, there hadn't been any additional injured. He should have been glad.
But today had been rough. Nothing had happened. He hadn't had a fight with a friend... or friendly acquaintances, or people he favored. No fight. No arguments, or upsetting words and actions. No out of place attitude.
Nothing had happened, that could explain his current feelings.
But... There he was. Flying as high as the tallest towers in town were, through the cold, refreshing air so high up, the wind plastering against him creating a fuzzy feeling to drown his mind. At least, somewhat.
Today had been rough, and there weren't many explanations for it. He could probably find one, if he were able to sit still and put aside how he felt, if he were able to reason through his entire life and what lead him to today, if he wasn’t able to ignore what he knew did make him feel this way.
But today had been rough, and he didn't want to bother to know why, he didn't want to dwell, didn't want to think. Didn't want to hear what felt wrong. Didn't want to go "home" and see what was wrong.
Hawks wasn't doing good. So he flew, letting the harsher wind of this altitude quell his mind, make the nausea he felt through his entire body slip away. It was like a caress, to him, at this moment. Something he took often craved. Something he tried to find, too often, but never right, rarely genuine, or gentleness lacking. The wind wasn't able to hug him, envelop him into an embrace, but it caressed his entire being gentler than he could ever imagine, better than he'd been able to find.
There wasn't much, up there. Other birds, sometimes, but people ? Only maybe people able to fly, or jump and follow through the air, but even that was a rarity. Sometimes when he flew, there would be people on rooftops, but not this high.
Surprise was an understatement, especially with how he felt, to see someone sitting on the edge of a particularly higher tower than most, although not the tallest, looking over the city, as far as Hawks could tell.
Someone with feathery wings, like him. Someone with wings proportional to their body, unlike him, following the logic of what wings would need to be like to be strong enough for the body they would be attached to, unlike his. Ones that were so much bigger than his, feathers so differently shaped as theirs were obviously entirely wings, and not individual, controlled feathers shaped as such. Wings so long, they trailed behind them, in resting position behind their back, the ends of them curling before laying a distance on the floor of the roof they were sitting on the edge of, legs dangling in the void of the night.
Hawk's heart hammered. He didn't meet people with wings often enough. He always loved it. Something about instincts wanting to flock to his kin, maybe.
You didn't seem to react much as a red feather floated gracefully in front of you - but you gently took it from the air, before it could get away, tracing the edges of it with a soft touch.
As Hawks settled next to you, not with a word for once, he saw you better. You looked melancholic, he thought. Not exactly sad or depressed, or like remembering something, or any other kinds of feelings... The hero wasn't sure if melancholic was the right word, but it was the best he could think of. Regardless of your height, sitting down next to him... Your wings shadowed above him, even at rest, making him feel something... That he definitely couldn't think of a word to describe. Hawks didn't hate it, that was for sure. It made him feel some sort of calm, wonder. Maybe that was it. Maybe it didn't need to be much more than that. Maybe it didn't need to be anything but simple wonder.
You hadn't said anything, so far, nor had you let you go of the feather, still looking at the sight in front of you in calm silence. Hawks didn't feel like breaking that, either, so he joined you. Looking at what was in front of him. Slouching more than you slightly were, his day still heavy on his shoulders, dejected but wanting to move past it. Maybe this wasn't too bad. Right here, right now. He could still feel the wind. Still caressing him. And your existence, the presence of you right next to him... It felt nice, too. It helped. He hadn't wanted to admit he'd wanted company, as he flew to nowhere, as he flew until he saw you and didn't want to pass up his chance, his heart screaming and weeping for something, anything, that would let him feel like more than... Hawks closed his eyes as a harsher wind blew hair into his face, feathers ruffling. He heard yours, too, the sound of it calming him even more, more than he ever thought it could have. Like this was something he missed, something he'd been yearning to hear again, like something important he'd lost.
Hawks heard you sigh, soft, faint, from content he assumed, the wind feeling nice to you as well.
A horribly selfish part of him, one he always ignored when meeting people, anyone, strangers and ones he knew alike, begged him to reach out. Trail the tip of his fingers against skin, bury them into hair if there were any, place a palm on waist, back and sides.
Search through your feathers to put them all back into place, pick out the loose ones he knew felt itchy. Get potential stuff from the world around you stuck to the part you couldn't reach, that wouldn't stop sticking to your feathers even by flapping your wings.
So Hawks kept on looking over the view, basking into the presence you didn't refuse him. Maybe you appreciated his, too. He had a feeling you'd have left, by now, if you hadn’t. Maybe you felt that instinct to be close to what your basic needs assigned as your kin, too, even if you were fundamentally different.
The feeling of a fingertip tracing the edges of his feather, gently held into your hands, hadn't stopped, either. Perhaps it was what made his heart soar. Made the tears he lied to be from the wind, even through his protective glasses, gather in his eyes. Not much, not overflowing, not enough to trail onto his cheeks, or even water a single eyelash. Only feeling the wetness against his eyes, behind his lower eyelids, slightly cold.
His body had relaxed.
Hawks wasn't sure when, or how much time had passed. Not enough for the night to be any different. Not enough for the stars to stop being visible, even as faint as they were from the large city's illumination and sky pollution from it. Not enough for the moon to have jumped too far away to easily find. Not enough for him to receive an inevitable call for work, or for...
The sound of feathers made him blink away the moistness in his eyes, an involuntary little sigh leaving his lips. But the noise kept going, indicating more than you flexing your muscle for comfort. The sound of rustling, and the vague movement of the limb on his side in the corner of his vision told him you were opening this wing, only this wing. The air current created by it, as faint as it was, against his back and own wings, indicating you were...
Curling it around him, the far end of it closing against his side, pushing enough to prompt him to scoot closer, enough that he could lean against your side easily if either of you decided to. Your wing had moved position again slightly, enveloping him but not cutting off his vision, like a blanket big enough to cover him. Keigo hadn't been on the receiving end like that for... he couldn't remember. Especially not with wings so much bigger than he was, regardless of your size. To experience what it was like, to be the one getting the affection, protection, he'd offered countless times before... He felt how precious of a feeling it was. He felt how easy it was to feel vulnerable, to let it shield him from everything, except the wind, still caressing the both of you but now not as cold, not as sharp, just a caress.
One tear, small and nearly invisible, painted the tiniest line down his cheek, unnoticeable, nearly even for Keigo. Nothing else happened, the limit of what his emotions needed. Just that, small and nearly insignificant, but enough to stop everything from sounding muffled, feeling muffled, looking muffled. Insignificant but oh so enough. The ruffling of your wings in the wind sounded gorgeous. Your faint breathing, barely audible, lowering his eyelid from how it eased him. The sight of the view from all the way up, finally more than a mudded rejected reminder of his life. Keigo, and you, taking in the sight of the moon so slowly moving ever so slightly with the passing of time. Not enough for the night to leave yet anytime soon, but so much longer than he could ever ask for for a break.
Inevitably, a ringtone, sharp, loud, breaking his heart, but enough for the feeling of your wing to stop shielding him. Not enough for the weight on him to come back as before, to come back tenfold, not enough to change any of what he'd felt since he sat next to you.
Flying away in the direction of the address he was given when he answered the phone as he took off, now ended and put away back into his jacket, he felt how your hands gently clasped his feather between them, hold soft, gentle, confident. Unrelenting on keeping hold, claiming it as yours. Whatever had made you sit on the edge of that roof, silent and looking over what faced you, he knew you'd eventually be fine. However it would go, you'd get there. Your hold on his feather was confident, firm, like a promise to hold onto yourself as well, to keep going. You had this. Keigo was confident of this.
How blessed he felt, for the one he had claimed back, when you had wordlessly handed it to him time before his call, one feather the same size as his, precious into his hand, between his gloved fingers. Protected into his coat, hidden away, something to never lose, something he'd make sure would never be taken away once he could, back "home"... once he could, back to his home. His apartment. It was home and what he could make of it. Your feather, now Keigo's new treasure, would be the first addition to a new step towards making this his.
So Hawks went back to work. Today had been rough, and it would be rough again, now or another time. It would continue to be rough.
Regardless of if he ever met you again, or if this was a single memory of a lifetime,
Keigo, Hawks, had this.

I'm doing this robot baby thing for school, and I had thought of how any character from any show/au would react, yandere or not, romantic or platonic
How would they react to you being a good parent to the robot baby 👶 🤔

Body Snatched - Hawks (platonic)
Masterlist ~ MHA Masterlist ~ #2
Tumblr media
Body Snatched Masterlist
3079 words
Warnings: unwanted advances, unwanted touches, attempted assault, vague mention of injury, crude statements, violence (if there's any I need to add please let me know)
+ You and Hawks were close. Close as siblings. You had both come onto the hero scene about the same time. He climbed the ranks fairly quickly but you both were popular among the people. You however always seemed to gain some attention from unsavory fans. Ones that seemed that would do anything to have a moment with you.
Tumblr media
You have a fan club. A pretty large one in fact. The president of said fan club is a little pushy everytime you meet him. It gets very awkward. So you try to avoid him at all times. At one point, he gets an idea that ends up putting you in a very unwanted position. Luckily, you already have Hawks on the way.
~
"How much longer?" I said over my shoulder. The security guard set a hand on my shoulder and leant down to hear me better over the roar of the room. "How much longer is this supposed to be?"
"Oh about 20 minutes, Mirage." I sighed internally before nodding. He chuckled behind me. "Can I get you anything to help?"
"Maybe those sweet buns I saw near the east doors?" I asked hopefully. He let out a laugh but nodded. "Thank you, Ken."
"No problem." He said. He ordered another guard to stand in his place while another group came through the line. Kids, teens, and over-zealous adults were all here for a meet and greet. I loved my fans but sometimes they could be way too much.
"Thank you so much for coming." I shook the hand of a teen girl. I could tell she nearly swooned when she walked away with her friends. It was nearly the end of this group when I heard a familiar voice yelling at me. I flinched internally and peered over at the next waiting group. There stood Milnus, the president of my fanclub.
"Hi, Mirage!!" He yelled, pulling against the ropes. I gave him a small wave back. A hand on my shoulder distracted me. I turned to see Ken back with my sweet buns. Excitement fills me.
"Thank you!!" I took them and set them next to me on the table. I took a quick bite before turning to the next person. "Sorry, I need a snack."
"It's fine!" They said before handing me a portrait to sign.
"Hey, Ken?"
"Yes, Mirage?"
"Milnus is in the next group. Just a heads up." I saw him look over and shut his eyes in order to calm himself. I heard him take a deep breath behind. I chuckled under my breath. After the last person of the group went through, I asked for a short break.
"So how do you want to handle him this time?" Ken asked as he sat down next to me.
"Let's just see how it goes and if he starts making a fuss and shit, escort him out." I said while nibbling on my sweet buns.
"Alright." After finishing up my snack, I took a big breath before waving them on. There were a few people in line before Milnus thankfully. As soon as he made it to me though, he was as enthusiastic as ever.
"Hello Mirage! It's a huge pleasure."
"Hi Milnus. You say that every time we meet." I smiled. He laughed way too hard in response.
"Well that's because it is." He insisted. I nodded before looking around.
"Is there anything you want me to sign or..." I reached my hand out and he immediately grabbed it. He pulled me forward roughly. I saw Ken jerk forward but I held my hand up.
"No, I just want to spend this time with you." He said. I stood to my feet.
"Well there's not a lot of time, Milnus. I have other fans waiting." I gestured to the line behind him.
"Oh I know of course. But they understand. Don't you?" He turned quickly, pulling my hand with him. I caught myself against the table. With a roll of my eyes, I pulled my hand free.
"Milnus. Calm down please."
"Oh I am sorry. Of course." He turned back and just stared at me. I just stood there, waiting. He started to shake like a rocket about to take off. He finally exploded. He was trying to climb over the table and everything. "Oh my, I just love you so much Mirage. Please, just, I don't know. I know, go out with me. I know you better than anyone! Please!"
"Get him out of here." I said to Ken.
"Right. I'm sorry sir but you have to go." Ken rounded the table and grabbed onto Milnus.
"What? No! I am talking with Mirage. Let me go!" Ken escorted him away, struggling. I turned towards the remaining people.
"I am so sorry for that. He will not be a hindrance anymore. I do apologize. Let's continue." It only took another 15 minutes before we finished for the day. "Ken, we're done right?"
"Yes. We're gonna wait for a bit to let the place clear before we go."
"Okay. I'm gonna make a call." He nodded before stepping away. I pulled up his contact and hit call.
"Hey there, Illusionist." Hawks' voice came through the phone. I chuckled at the nickname. "Have you finished up yet?"
"Yeah. Just waiting for the crowds to disperse. Milnus showed up today." I propped my feet up on the table.
"Seriously. Did he cause a ruckus today?"
"What do you think, Keigo?"
3rd POV
Milnus paced outside the building in an alley, disturbed and upset. He was muttering insults toward security while as10 mumbling about how Mirage didn't understand how he felt about them. If only he could show them.
"Hey!" Milnus jumped out of his skin. He looked around before seeing a figure in the shadows at the back of the alley. "Yes you. Come here."
"Okay." Milnus walked forward.
"I saw what happened in there. How they threw you out when you were only trying to show Mirage how much you love them."
"Yes they don't get it. Those guys are always in the way. If only I could show Mirage how much I love them, I know they would accept me." Milnus said enthusiastically to the person.
"Well I can help with that." Milnus looked at him intrigued. The person had Milnus follow them until they came to the back entrance. "I can switch you with that bodyguard, Ken, so you can get close to Mirage."
"Really?! That would be great! I've always wondered why heroes needed bodyguards."
"Insurance precaution. The bodyguard can put their hands as a civilian where the heroes can't." The person simply said.
"Oh, okay."
"Get ready. They come."
Y/N's POV
"So where are you by the way? Are you off?" I asked as we walked out of the building. Ken was behind me as we left.
"No, but I'm sitting on a rooftop, enjoying the clear day." I rolled my eyes.
"Of course you are Bird boy." I chuckled. "So, do you want to..." There was a flash of purple light behind me. I whipped around to see Ken groaning on the ground. "Ken! What happened!"
"What's going on?" Keigo exclaimed through the phone.
"Give me a sec." I looked around the alley to see if there were any immediate threats. When there was nothing, I ran to Ken. "You okay?"
"Yyeah. Just stunned." He sat up and got on one knee.
"Did you see what it was? Where it came from?" I asked. He looked up at me with starry eyes. I cupped his cheek, looking him over. I grew concerned when he didn't answer. "Ken?"
"Oh, no. I didn't." He looked behind him. I followed his line of sight and saw nothing. "Come on, let's go."
"Yeah." I helped him up and started walking towards the car. I brought the phone up to my ear. "Keigo?"
"Yeah? What's going on?"
"I'm not sure. There was a purple flash and Ken was on the ground. You might want to call it in."
"Right. Is there anything else..."
"Y/N!" I whipped around and saw Milnus running towards us. "Don't get in the Car!"
"Shit! Let's go!" Ken grabbed my waist and pushed me into the car. My phone went tumbling to the floorboards.
"Ken! Damn." I got settled as the car took off. Thankfully the soundproof divider was up in the car. I glared at him. "Remember your strength quirk?"
"Oh, right." He looked at his hands, stunned.
"What's up with you?"
"It actually worked!" He yelled, looking up at me excited.
"What worked?" I was extremely confused. He took my hand and pulled me into his side.
"The switch! I'm Milnus!"
"What!" I nearly screeched. I glanced at the phone on the ground.
"Yeah! I met some person in the alley who told me they could switch me with your body guard so I could get close to you." Panic started to grow in my chest. It was weird to see "Ken" acting so hyper. He's cool and collected so it was a red flag telling me that he was telling the truth. I remembered suddenly that Milius called me by my name, not Mirage.
"Shit!" I lifted my hand to create an illusion in his head but he grabbed my hands.
"Oh, no! I'm your biggest fan! I know your moves. I don't mean any harm to you, I just want you to know how I feel about you."
"Milnus, this isn't how to do it!" I struggled against his grip. It was useless because of the strength quirk Ken had. With one youk I was in his lap. "Let go!"
"Stop it." He yelled. I froze, never hearing 'Ken' yell. It was rattling. "I could make you see and understand. You never give me the time of day though. You never hear me because of..."
"Because of what, Milnus! Because you're bat shit crazy?"
"Because of him. He is always there and by your side...You want him, don't you?" He asked. I gaped at him. I saw his eyes darker until they were almost black. "Then you can have him."
"Mil..." Before any words could come out, he had me pinned to the floor of the car. I felt his lips on mine forcefully. I yelped and tried to pull away but I had no room to pull away. His hand that wasn't pinning my hands began to wander. I squirmed uncomfortably under his touch.
"I am done trying to explain. I'll just show you." He growled when he pulled back. He latched onto my neck.
"Milnus. This isn't right. Please st... Ah!" I screamed as he bit me. Warm blood ran down from the wound. I choked as he only went harder. It almost distracted me from him tipping my pants off. He let go and moved to hover over me. I flinded at the sight of my blood on his mouth.
"You understand yet or do I need to show you more?" I shook my head but he only smiled. I tried to yank my hands free but he only tightened his grip. I shrieked as something popped, sending pain down my arms.
"Stop." I tried to create another illusion as a last ditch effort but nothing came. Just as he forcefully spread my legs to further his assault, the car stopped on a dime. He was thrown off balance with a curse. I rolled away, holding my hands to my chest, to go for the door but it opened violently.
"Y/N!" Keigo was standing there with a murderous look in his eyes. His gaze moved behind me.
"Mirage!" My ankle was grabbed but feathers flew past me to hold him back.
"Don't touch them again." Keigo said so calmly, it was terrifying. Without looking away from Milnus, he took off his coat to hold it out to me. "Here, cover yourself up."
"Keigo..." My voice was now hoarse. His gaze quickly turned to me. "I can't use my hands."
"Shit. Come here." I scooted closer, trying to keep myself covered. He wrapped his coat around my waist as soon as I stood. His feathers returned to him and I turned to see Best Jeanist escorting Milnus away.
"Ken?" I looked back at Keigo.
"Fine. We found him and the woman that switched them." He pulled me away from the scene, a wing wrapped around me the whole time. He led me to an ambulance.
"Did you call all this in?" I asked in disbelief.
"Of course. Hero Mirage was in trouble. My best friend was in trouble and I wasn't taking that lying down." He handed me over to the paramedics. "Their hands are injured and they're going into shock."
"What? I'm not..." I paused and finally noticed the dazed, airy feeling that crept up on me. "Oh..."
"We got them." I heard someone say as I was laid back on the gurney.
"I'll meet you at the hospital, okay kid?" Keigo's voice asked softly. I turned my head to nod at him loosely. "Okay. See you soon."
I sat numbly in the hospital bed, tear stains decorating my face. After I came out of shock, the tears started. Panic,
pain, anguish, disgust and so many other things coursed through me. They had to partially sedate me to get me to calm down. It turns out my hands were okay with one being just sprained and the other dislocated.
"Here's your drink, Mirage." A nurse set a cup down on the tray table. I gave her a small nod. Keigo's coat was clutched in my hand. Noone would tell me what had gone out after I was taken from the scene and Keigo has yet to show up.
"Thank you." I heard a muffled voice from the hall. I turned as Keigo stepped in quickly, shutting the door behind him. He looked at me with quizing eyes. "Y/N?"
"Hey..." I turned my eyes slowly to the coat in my hand. I lifted it and held it out. "Here."
"Y/N... Are you okay?"
"M'fine." I continued to hold out the coat. He gently took it and set it aside. He immediately grasped the hand that was held out.
"No, no, no. Don't do that." He urged. I kept looking down at my lap, even when he tried to get me to look at him. "Okay. Let me guess. It all feels numb, Yeah?" I nodded. "Shit. Right. Are you able to listen clearly?"
"Yeah." I peeked up at him. He gave me a smile.
"Good. I know you don't know what to do or what to feel but whatever you decide to do is fine. If you decide to scream, go for it. You need to cry? I'll be right here to hold you. Whatever you think will help, you do it." He took a big breath. "There is just one thing that I ask you not to do."
"What's that?"
"Suffer in Silence." Those three words knocked the breath from my lungs. "It won't help at all. You are not fine and that is fine. Just please do not try to do this on your own."
"Fuck." I covered my mouth, trying to cover the sob. I squeezed his hand tightly. I couldn't hold back my cries anymore.
"Alright. Come here." He crawled up the bed, sitting next to me. He wrapped me in his arms and wings. I gripped his shirt as I cried louder and harder. I curled up in a ball from all the pain; physical, mental, emotional. He didn't even try to quiet me.
"Keigo. Why did he do this?" I choked as the words came out.
"I, I don't know. Some people just are so single minded about things. He became so obsessed he let it consume him."
"But why me?" The question came out as a shriek. His wings pulled in tighter.
"I don't know. I don't know." The statement was shaky. I knew he didn't have an answer. I didn't have one either.
Time passed and I went through fits of crying and spots of just sitting there numb in his arms. He constantly was doing something to comfort me. Petting my head, rubbing my arm, something. I had my head against his shoulder, staring at the window.
"What happened?" I asked quietly.
"Y/N, I don't think we should talk about this right now." He said tentatively.
"Please, I need to know. What happened to ken, Milnes, the person he spoke of... What the hell happened leading up to this?" I looked up at him. He had my gaze for a moment before sighing heavily. He got up and walked over to grab a bay that was laying against the wall.
"Does the name Mika Morcida sound familiar?" He asked while pulling out a tablet from the bag. My face scrunched up at the familiar name.
"Yeah, she was a bitch I used to know in high school. She got kicked out for cheating, stealing, and god knows what else but for some reason, she always blamed me. Like I had something to do with her life choices."
"Well that's who is behind this." He sat down next to me. He pulled up something on the tablet before turning it towards me. There was a picture of her but she was looking worse for wear. "Apparently she still blames you because she has continuously yelled about a vendetta against you since are caught her."
"Dang... Ken?" I asked. He smiled, setting the tablet aside.
"Don't worry. You boy toy is fine. He's actually here getting checked out after we finally got Morcida to switch them back."
"He's not my boy toy, Keigo." I rolled my eyes. He sighed heavily before laying over my legs, propping his hand up on his hand.
"Keep telling yourself that." I bat at his chest. He laughed before grabbing my hand. "Regardless, he will be up here after he's done. He said he won't come in unless you're alright with it."
"Okay." I settled back into the bed. I wiped my face and grimaced. Keigo was up without a word and went to the bathroom. He came back with a wet rag.
"Here." I smiled before taking it, cleaning my face. I let my hands drop into my lap. I sniffled a bit and Keigo pulled my head into his chest. "It'll be okay Kid. I promise."
