Warnings: none except slight spoilers of you haven't seen ATWOW
+ The impossible has happened. Neteyam was back, breathing and unharmed. No one can believe it but everyone is beyond happy. After the intial high of his return, it was time for Neteyam to learn about
Tumblr media
"This is impossible." I said while sitting next to his head. After Aonung and Tsireya returned with help, we took him back to my marui and Ronal had met us. She immediately began to check him over.
"Quite." She said as she circled him but paused next to me. "Maybe your visions were not just from grief. I think Eywa was trying to tell you of his return." She gives me a smile, caressing my head. She moved on around me. I heard commotion outside and then Netyiri ran in. She froze in the door before letting out a loud cry.
"Neteyam!" She collapsed next to us. She was crying heavily. "This can't be real. This can't be real." She cried out as she hovered over his side.
"Neytiri..." She Looked up at me. "He's here. He's really here." She smiled and reached up to cup my face, setting her forehead against mine. I held her wrists as Jake came in at that moment with Tonowari behind him. He stumbled at the sight of his boy and Tonowari held him up.
"How?" The question came out as a puff of air.
"I'm not sure. But I see it as a Gift from Eywa." Ronal said blissfully. Jake knelt down behind Neytiri. She grabbed her son's hand to hold it to her chest and I felt Jake set his hand on my head. I looked at him and he was giving me a look asking if I was okay. I nodded with a smile. He moved his hand to my shoulder and kept it there.
After Ronal had checked him over and deemed him in good health, she left with instructions for me to look after him. She said she would return when he wakes. Everyone else left reluctantly when it came to turn in for the night. All except Lo'ak. He refused to leave.
"You carry too much sometimes, Skxawng." I chuckled as I placed a blanket over a sleeping Lo'ak who made his place in the corner. He hummed in his sleep as I covered him up.
I walked around, snuffing out the lights before returning to Neteyam's side. I laid down next to him and caressed his face. I sighed, afraid to fall asleep in case I woke up to it being just a dream. I forced myself to sleep with a hand on his breathing chest, over his beating heart.
"Hmm." Warmth from the morning sun woke me from my slumber. I squirmed under the blanket before sitting up. I peered around the room. The memory of yesterday came rushing back and I looked next to me. Neteyam was gone. "No... no, no, no." I got up and ran from the marui. I ran around the village, looking around frantically for the boy.
"I missed you so much." I heard Tuk yell. I ran in that direction and saw Neteyam in the middle of his family, Tuk attached to his waist. He was hugging his sister tight, cupping the back of her head. I slowed and stopped not far from the group.
"Neteyam..." I hiccupped in relief. His ears twitched before he looked toward me. His expression turned from joyous to concern.
"Yawne." He pulled away gently from his sister and ran towards me. I reached out for him and latched onto his shoulders as soon as he got close. I buried my head in his chest and let out the breath I was holding. "Oh love, I'm here."
"I thought... you were gone when I woke up. I thought it was all a d-dream." I stuttered. I sniffled and he cooed as he cupped the back of my head. I moved my head to his neck before looking up at him.
"Oh, love. I'm so sorry." He pulled back and cupped my face, nuzzling his nose against mine as he whispered some comforting words. I collapsed into his chest again and he held me tight. He cradled the back of my head and wrapped his other arm around my waist. "Lo'ak told me about how you've been lately and thought it was best to let you sleep. I'm sorry. I should have stayed close."
"No, no. It's alright. I know you would want to see your family. I just..." I trailed off while playing with on of his braids sheepishly.
"I know." He kissed my head before resting his cheek against my head. I looked over his shoulder and saw everyone watching us with smiles. A sad thought crossed my mind.
"Did they tell you?" I asked gently. I felt him grimace and pull away, realizing what I was asking. He held me by my biceps and I held onto his battle belt. He looked down and nodded. I placed my hand where the bullet wound should be. "I was so lost..."
"I'm here now. I don't know how or why but I'm here now." He set his forehead against mine, holding me tight against him.
"I hate to break up this tender moment up but I figure you're both getting pretty hungry?" Jake chuckled. As if on cue, both of our stomachs growled. I hid my face in Neteyam's chest in embarrassment.
"Come on bro. Let's get you both something to eat." Lo'ak came over and wrapped his arm around his brothers shoulder. Neteyam let his brother pull him away but paused when I didn't follow.
"Go on. I'll be along." I assured him. He brought my hand that he was still holding up to kiss it.
"Okay. Don't be to long. You have a lot to catch me up on." I watched as Lo'ak drug him into the marui. I chuckled and felt my heart swell at the sight. I turned and looked out over the water. I closed my eyes and took a big breath, thanking Eywa for the miracle. A tug on my hand brought me back.
"Come on, Y/N." I turned to see Kiri holding my hand to her chest. I smiled and squeezed her hand back.
"I'm coming." She pulled me along and had me sit next to Neteyam. I just stared at him as he ate, still in disbelief but ecstatic nonetheless.
After breakfast, Tonowari had arranged for a celebration in honor of Neteyam's miraculous return. It had been a long day of celebrating and the two of us needed a break. We stole away for a moment alone just before eclipse. The sun was setting over the water and the moment was serene.
"I can't believe I was gone for a year." He said softly while gripping my hand. I sighed and nodded.
"It was torture for the first few months... for all of us. Neytiri couldn't sleep, Kiri was less lively, and Tuk couldn't stop crying. Even Tsireya and Aonung were devastated beyond reproach. But...Lo’ak and Jake were especially torn up." I pulled him to a stop and we faced each other. "They both blame themselves heavily. No one could or can convince then otherwise."
"I know. I could see it in their eyes." He looked down, nose scrunching in distress.
"I honestly think Lo'ak blames himself for all of this." I ran my thumb up his nose, smoothing out the skin. He relaxed his face.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Well, he thinks if he never had gone to the old lab, We would have never had to move and we would not have had to fight the RDA at Three Brothers."
"What?! That's absurd. Quaritch would have done anything to come after Dad anyway! Regardless if Lo'ak and the others getting caught." He said, confused.
"I know." I reached up and cupped his neck. "And I think he needs to hear that from you. You're the only one I think he'll listen to on this."
"I will." He wrapped his arms around me. "You've mentioned how everyone fared... except you."
"Observant as always." I chuckled. I set my forehead against his chest. "I could hardly stand it."
"How so?"
"I was completely numb for days ...months." I looked up at them. "If it wasn't for Tuk, Tsireya, and everyone else, I would have faded away. I felt empty and couldn't find it in me to go on."
"Yawne..." I could see tears welling up in his eyes, anguish taking over his face. He pulled me into a tight hug, arms wrapped snugly around my form. "I'm so sorry. I can't believe you had to go through that. I'm..."
"Shh..." I placed my fingertips on his lips. I leaned up and kissed him. He immediately responded, kissing me softly. We pulled away but only a bit. Neteyam kissed my head. "It's okay. You're here now and that's all that matters."
"And I never plan to leave you or everyone else again." He said with soft determination. I nodded and nuzzled into his neck. He ran a hand up and down my back while the other ran through my hair. "And if you'll have me, I want to be mated to you as soon as possible. I don't want to wait any longer."
I saw Neteyam glance at me with a smile before he looked at the stars, too. Above us, the stars twinkled as if Eywa herself was answering me.
"Neither do I." I nose his cheek. As Eclipse came upon us we started back towards the village. I looked up at the stars and smiled. "Thank you Eywa for the best gift of my life."

Part 2
--
Pandora. A planet full of new colours, knowledge and danger. Compared to Earth, it was heaven. Except, you can’t get there by dying. Instead, you must pledge your life force to science. Even then, only incredible luck got me here. Not as much luck as Jake Sully had, though.
The ex-marine, paralysed from the waist down, had a brother. I remember when Tom died. There was no funeral. No one hold funerals anymore. We spent years together, learning about Pandora and preparing to be launched into space. Tom was killed barely a month before we were due to leave. Six years in cyro can’t fix that pain.
Now, I watch Jake Sully, standing in Tom’s tall blue Avatar body, marvelling at the dirt between his toes. Human or not, he looks exactly like his brother.
Today was our first time linking to the artificial Na’vi vessels. The lack of a mask on my face feels strange, but strangely relieving. The Pandora atmosphere, containing curiously higher percentages of carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and xenon, feels different to oxygen, somehow thicker as I breathe it in. It’s almost an out of body experience. I can feel my body, and I know it is mine, but when I look, it feels as though it is someone else’s. But that will go away in time. For now, I will enjoy the new freedoms and sensations that come with the Avatar.
--
The next morning, at 0600 on the dot, I am in my Avatar, and we are soaring above the Pandora jungle. I lean out over the edge of the helicopter beside Jake, who is also in his Avatar. We are zooming low over a huge body of water, accompanied by a flock of purple creatures, that squawk when we get too close.
The air craft rises again, over the trees, before descending onto the forest floor. Immediately, I jump down, ignoring how Jake waved his gun around like an idiot. He pushes ahead of me as the helicopter shuts off, tail whipping my leg. I hissed in annoyance, but followed behind without protesting.
We trepassed through the jungle, and despite the mind-blowing scenery, all I could think about was Pandora’s humanoid inhabitants. The Na’vi. The people we were impersonating with our Avatars. I was fluent in Na’vi, but Doctor Grace liked to tell me that my pronunciation was off. I think she just likes to get on my nerves.
The Na’vi were hunters by nature, and dangerous creatures that could kill you without batting an eye. Or so everyone would have us believe. Doctor Grace says the Na’vi are intelligent, sympathetic creatures, no different from us. Either way, I am certain that they are watching us right now.
Green monkey-like creatures with 6 legs swing through the trees. Jake raises his gun, but I reach out to lower it.
“Prolemuris.” I tell him, watching as they cartwheel away from us. “They are not aggressive.”
“Relax, marine. You’re making me nervous.” Grace says loudly, rolling her eyes and pushing past.
Eventually, Jake keeps walking.
“So,” Norm speaks up after sometime. “How will they know we’re here?”
“I’m sure they’re watching us right now.” Grace replies nonchalantly, echoing my thoughts from earlier.
We emerge from the thick forest and into a clearing. In the centre is a small, rotting, wooden hut. Grace strides in confidently, and the rest of us follow, a little less certain. Inside is the remains of a school. Books, which used to rest neatly on shelves, are scattered across the floor. Most of the desks remain upright, with chairs tucked underneath, but some are upside down and have been strewn across the room.
I watch silently from the door as Doctor Grace trails her hand sadly across a desk. When moves to another part of the room to gather equipment, I approach where she previously stood. Squinting a little, I can make out the rough letters scratched into the desk. ‘Sylwanin’.
“What happened here?” Jake questions, snapping me out of my thoughts. He stands next to an old black board, which is riddled with bullet holes.
Grace inhales sharply, and I watch as she fumbles for an answer. She finally settles on avoiding the question entirely. “Are you gonna help us here? We’ve got a lot to do.”
--
As Doctor Grace and Norm collect samples from a tree root, I wander off into the jungle. I enter another clearing, this time filled with round, spiralling plants. My hand brushes one, and it shrinks back into a little bud on the floor.
“What are you doing?” Jake demands, appearing from behind me.
I can’t help but giggle like a schoolgirl. “Watch this.”
When I poke another plant, Jake laughs too. I tough another, then another, and then they all shrink, leaving the clearing empty. My amusement fades away as Jake tenses beside me, and I spot a huge, armoured hammer-headed creature snorting at us from the trees. Jake yanks me behind him, and raises his gun. Fear spikes in my chest.
“Don’t shoot. You’ll only piss it off.” Grace’s voice crackles through the intercom in my ear.
“I think it’s already pissed off.” Jake responds, still pointing his gun at the creature.
“Trust me, Jake. That armour is too thick.” The marine relents, lowering his gun. Grace continues. “It’s a territorial threat display. Don’t run, or he’ll charge.”
“Thank what am I supposed to do, dance with it?”
“Just hold your ground.”
The animal huffs, pawing the ground, before letting out a roar and charging anyway.
“Grace…” I mutter, frozen in fear.
With a scream of his own, Jake ran, headfirst, towards it. My heart skipped at least three beats before the creature skidded to a halt, the webbed fans behind its hammer head spreading in alarm. It slinked away into the forest and Jake whooped in victory.
“Oh yeah! Who’s bad?” He shouted triumphantly. “That’s right. That’s what I’m talking about. Bitch.”
I laughed in relief, turning away from Jake to catch my breath. It did not take long for my blood to turn to ice again.
“That’s right, get your punk ass back to mommy.”
“Jake,” I whispered.
“Yeah, yeah you got nothing! You keep running.”
“Jake!” I hissed, a little louder.
Finally, he turned around. “What?”
The black, slick, panther-like thanator roared threateningly. It loomed above me on the tree, before leaping over us and growling at the pack of hammer heads. Jake raised his gun again in alarm.
“So, uh, what about this one? Run, don’t run?”
I grabbed his arm and pulled him in the other direction. “Run, definitely run!”
Leaping over a tree root, I rushed into the forest, Jake following close behind. I weaved around a tree, then through bamboo looking plants, then under a tree root. Still the thanator roared and crashed behind me. Launching myself off a particularly high rock, I curled my hands around a vine, using the momentum to swing myself up into a tree. The creature raced past, instead favouring Jake, who had taken refuge in the roots of another tree. He fired his gun desperately, but it did nothing to slow his pursuer. I searched my surroundings frantically, looking for someway to help. My eyes landed on the crack in the branch I stood across from.
My hands grappled for another vine, and I swung at the branch, hard. I was rewarded with a sickening crack. Still, the thanator dug at the roots, claws dangerously close to Jake. I swung again, once, twice, three times, until, with particularly loud crack, the branch plummeted to the ground, landing on the thanator’s tail. It screamed out, and Jake scrambled, running into the jungle. I grabbed another vine, sliding down and following after. The thanator kept screaming.
Jake ducked under a root ahead of me. Before I could make it through, the thanator soared over me, grabbing Jake by the backpack and swinging him through the air. He unclipped the back, and went tumbling to the ground. I rushed between the creatures legs as it shook the bag out of its jaws, and pulled him up with one hand. We kept running.
We hurtled through a break in the trees. The little control we had over our Avatar bodies was not enough to stop us as we realised we were fast heading off the edge of a cliff. I scream ripped out of my throat as the thanator snapped its jaws behind us. I crossed my arms over my chest and pushed my legs together. All I could do was hope that there was water beneath us.
My feet hit the rapids first, and the rest of my body followed. I did not have time to swim to the surface for air, because my head struck a rock, and I was rendered unconscious.
--
When I could think clearly again, the first thing I wondered was if I was dead. Then I realised that I certainly wasn’t, because why was my dead spirit being jostled around like a sack of potatoes? I pealed my eyes open, glad the light was not too bright. As it turns out, the person tossing me around was strangely familiar.
“Tom?”
The person looked down at me and grinned. “You’re awake.”
It was Jake, still in Tom’s Avatar. He had one arm under my knees, and the other across my shoulders, carrying me through the jungle. My head throbbed, and when I reached up to touch my forehead, my fingers came back with flakes of dried blood on them.
“How long have I been out?”
“Hours.” Jake said worriedly. “I was beginning to think you wouldn’t wake up at all. But hey, look on the bright side.”
He nodded ahead of us. A tall blue Na’vi woman carrying a bow stalked through the trees. She looked back occasionally, as if checking we were still there.
“Is that…”
“Hell yeah it is. She’s taking us back to their village.”
“Oh wow,” I muttered, taking her in. “What’s her name?”
“That’s a good question. I’ll ask.”
He did not get the chance, because his legs came out from under him, and we fell from the particularly high tree branch we had been walking across. I groaned loudly in pain when we hit the ground, unable to move as Jake frantically pulled on the rope around his ankles. As he tossed it away, more Na’vi on 6-legged, horse-like creatures emerged, wielding weapons.
Jake drew his knife, turning to see more Na’vi behind him. I struggled to stand, the pain in my head making me dizzy. I looked up, only to meet the eyes of a Na’vi. He aimed his arrow, no doubt laced with a neurotoxin, at my chest. I raised my hands in fear.
“Calm, people, calm.” The woman that had been leading the forest shouted. Despite being fluent, it took me a moment to translate the words.
The Na’vi pointing the arrow at me lowered his weapon, dismounting his horse thing, and stalking toward the woman.
“What are the doing, Tsu’tey?” The woman asked.
Tsu’tey. His name was Tsu’tey.
“These demons are forbidden here.” Tsu’tey replied.
“There has been a sign.” The woman insists. “This is a matter for the Tsahìk.”
I could not begin to comprehend what that meant, because my legs began to shake uncontrollably, and I fell to the ground again. Tsu’tey stared down at me, before grabbing me roughly under the arms and pulling me up on the horse thing with him, and laying me across his knees. I gasped, the sudden movement amplifying the dizziness in my head. I looked back to see Jake being dragged behind us by the Na’vi on foot.
When the jungle began to thin out, a huge tree came into sight. This was where the Omatikaya clan lived. The tree was at least three times bigger than the tallest tree in the jungle, and Na’vi flowed in and out of the trunk from a cave-sized hole at the base of it.
We rode straight into the hole, and the horse things began to slow down. Tsu’tey dismounted, pulling my down with him. My legs were still weak, but I managed to stand.
“This is so cool,” I whispered, gazing round at the curious eyes of the Na’vi around me.
Tsu’tey gave me a funny look, before ushering me forward through the crowd, that parted like a sea. I could count the four fingers pressing into the skin between my shoulder blades, although his touch was not rough like before. Some of the people whispered among themselves, and others reached out to touch me, darting away quickly, as though my five fingers were contagious. A little girl grabbed some of my hair, forcing me to stop. My hair went past my waist, since I had not had the chance to cut it. I smiled at her, and she giggle shyly, letting go. Tsu’tey pushed my forward.
We came to a stop, and soon Jake was pushed into position beside me. The woman stepped in front of us, talking to an older man with a huge belt across his shoulders. He approached, scanning us critically. I made the gesture the woman had made a few moments before. Three fingers to the forehead, then forward. I see you.
“Why do you bring these demons here?” He questions. The commanding tone, plus the decorations adorning his body. He is Olo'eyktan, the leader of the Omatikaya clan.
“I was going to kill them,” The woman says. “But there was a sign from Eywa.”
That’s the second time she’s mentioned a sign. What does that mean?
“I have said before, no dreamwalker will come here.” The Olo'eyktan booms.
“What’s he saying?” Jake whispers.
“The alien smell fills my nose.”
“You smell bad.” I whisper back, holding in a laugh at the confused expression on his face.
“My father is deciding whether to kill you.” The woman says.
Jake shifts uncomfortably. “Your father. It’s nice to meet you, sir.”
He steps forward, offering his hand, and the Na’vi behind him leap to restrain him. I step forward too, quickly shoving Jake’s arm back to his side. The woman shoves him back, and Tsu’tey steps in front of the Olo'eyktan defensively.
“Step back!” Someone calls. “I will look at the aliens.”
A woman descends from a stairway above. She is decorated too, but not as much as the Olo'eyktan.
“That is mother.” The younger woman says. “She is Tsahìk, the one who interprets the will of Eywa.”
“Whose Eywa?” Jake asks.
I groan in annoyance. Can he be anymore oblivious? The Tsahìk circles us, pulling on Jake’s braid and tail, then running a hand through my hair and examining my fingers.
“What are you called?” She asks, her Na’vi accent dripping over the English words.
“Jake Sully.”
“And you?” She looks to me.
“My name is (Name).” I say in Na’vi, gesturing I see you to her as well.
The woman huffs a little, then withdraws a small pointy spike from her necklace. She reaches out suddenly, slicing it across both out faces in one fluid strike. I recoil in shock, then stead myself again. She licks it with her tongue, and her expression immediately changes to one of surprise.
“Why did you come to us?” She questions.
“We came to learn.” Jake replies confidently. I look at him out of the corner of my eye.
“We have tried to teach other Sky People. It is hard to fill a cup that is already full.”
“My cup is empty, trust me.” Jake insists. “Just ask Doctor Augustine, I’m no scientist.”
“Then what are you?”
Jake is silent. “I was a marine-“
“He is a warrior.” I cut in, thinking as quickly as I can with the pounding of my head. “Of the Jarhead clan.”
“A warrior!” Tsu’tey cries. “I could kill him easily.”
“No.” The Olo'eyktan stops him. “This is the first warrior of the Sky People we have seen. We need to learn more about him.”
“My daughter, you will teach him our way.” The Tsahìk says.
“Why me? Why not Tsu’tey?” The other woman hisses.
Her mother’s lips twist a little. “They will likely kill each other before the day is out. It is decided. My daughter will teach you our ways, Jakesully.” She approaches me again.
“What about her?” Jake asks, gesturing to me.
Yeah, what about me? Butterflies flap in my stomach. What if she kicks me out? I’m not a warrior. I am a scientist.
“That depends. Are you a warrior?”
“No…” I say. “But I can learn, too.”
The Tsahìk cocks her head. “Why should I believe you?”
“She is a warrior.” Jake cut in. “Just a different kind.”
“What are you doing?” I whisper.
“Saving your ass.” He mutters back. “She came here to save her people down on Earth. She will learn, trust me.”
It is silent, as the woman before me contemplates what to do. “Tsu’tey, you will teach this one.”
Tsu’tey growled. “But-“
“You will learn, child, or you will leave. Now go.” Tsahìk waved her hands. “You must begin immediately.”
With a hiss, Tsu’tey stalked toward me, grabbing me by the arm and pulling me through the crowd. I stumbled on my own feet, struggling to keep up with his pace.
“Why are we in such a rush?” I huffed in annoyance when we had ascended to a higher, less crowded level of the tree.
“What is rush?” Tsu’tey asks, still leading me through the village.
“Um, to do something quickly, I guess.”
We stop at large hut. As we go inside, I take in the three women sitting in the corner, and the piles of bowls containing brightly coloured pastes around them. The rest of the floor is covered with woven mats.
“This is the healing hut.” Tsu’tey says.
10 minutes later, we emerge again. The wound on my head is clean and covered with a patch. The healers had retrieved a few garments of Na’vi clothing. A cloth top winds around my back, across my chest and loops around my neck. A second, much smaller cloth dangles between my legs, held up by a strap that curves above my hips. It definitely covers the extremities, but not as much as I’d like. I suppose this is a part of the learning.
Again, Tsu’tey grabs my arm, leading me further up and into a large communal level. In the centre is a bonfire, and Na’vi circle it, all crouched on their hunches. We walk right through the crowd and sit at the front. Tsu’tey hands me a rolled up leaf. Upon opening it, I pick up one of the contents. It is a beetle shaped thing. Tsu’tey crunches on his own, so I follow suit. Its hard on the outside, but soft and smooth in the middle. It kind of tastes like chicken soup, just… solid.
Beside me, the woman from the forest pushes Jake down to sit.
“Hey,” He says to me.
“Hi.” I wave back, munching on a beetle thing.
Jake talks to the woman, who eventually introduces herself as Neytiri. Tsu’tey hasn’t said a word to me since we left the healers.
“So, Tsu’tey, what is this stuff?”
“Teylu. You call…” Tsu’tey pauses to search for the words. “Beetle. Larvae.”
“Oh.”

Long Locks & Soft Moments - Shiggy x Reader

Warnings: none.
+ A rare soft moment with Tomura where he's playing video games and you can't help but play with his hair.
Tumblr media
Days have been quiet for a while. Everyone had been laying low for a while. A lot of the league had been injured to the point that there was no choice but to take rest. Including Tomura and myself. Tomura and I had hid out at a little place I had in a quiet part of the city.
I woke up from a nap on a rainy day. I could hear Tomura in the room with me along with the muted sounds of some war game I couldn't place. I rolled over and saw him sitting next to the bed with his back to me with his headset on.
"Idiots..." I heard him mutter. I smiled at his quietness. Normally, he is very loud when gaming but he was being quiet for me. I laid there comfortably and just watched him. I watched as his fingers flew around his controller. He was so focused. I couldn't see his face but I zeroed in on the movement of his hair. It has gotten so long. I just wanted to play with it.
"Mmm." I hummed as I stretched a bit. I propped my head up on my hand and looked at the time. It was nearly 7pm and I knew he wouldn't have eaten yet.
"Damn." He suddenly snapped. I saw him flinch at his own volume. I stayed silent and quickly laid back down and closed my eyes. I heard a sigh of relief leave him and kept myself from laughing.
I slowly sat up and crawled up behind him. I settled down behind him. I gently ran my hands up his shoulders to his neck, pulling his silvery hair back. He jumped and cursed under his breath.
"Jeez, you scared me." He looked back at me. He pushed the headset off of one ear. "Did you sleep well and did I wake you?"
"Yes I slept well and no you didn't wake me." I leant down and nosed the nape of his neck before kissing it. I felt his hand cup my head and he kissed the side of my head. "Are you playing co-op?"
"No." I nodded and straightened up. I gently slipped his headset off and turned them off. The sound of the game filled the room and Toma quickly turned it down a little bit. I began to brush the knots out of his hair with my fingers.
"Let me know if I pull too hard." I said softly.
"Why? You know I like that." I scoffed and he chuckled. We sat in silence as I played with hair. I heard soft sounds coming from him. At one point he had to pause his game before he melted into my touch. I giggled at him.
"Your hair has gotten so long." I mumbled as I began to massage and scratch his head. He groaned out loud and I smiled. He set aside his controller and laid his arms back on the bed.
"Fuck, baby. Maybe I should keep it this long if you do this more often." I bit my lip at his moans. His voice was raspier than normal, sending shivers down my spine. I reached forward and cupped his chin, taking his head back.
"Simmer down, boy." I kissed him. He cupped the back of my head, holding me to him. I finally got to pull away and went back to playing with his hair. I began to part the strands and French braided his hair. I tied it off and leant back to admire my work.
"You're very distracting." He said. I chuckled and began to rub his shoulders. Another guttural groan escaped his lips.
"Go back to your game. I'm going to go get us some food. I know you haven't eaten." I went to get up but in a fast movement, I was on my back with Tomura on top of me.
"Not so fast. I want a little more attention from you." He whispered into my ear. I gasped as he ravaged my neck. I grabbed onto his shirt. I felt the end of his braid that had fallen over his shoulder tickling my chest and giggled.
"Tomura..." I tilted my head to give him more room. He leant on his forearms on either side of me, caging me in. He wedged a leg between my thighs.
"Fuck baby." He pressed his knee into the apex of my thighs. I groaned, pressing the back of my hand to my mouth. I hooked my leg that wasn't pinned beneath him around his waist. I rocked against his leg.
"All because I played with your hair?" I huffed as he pulled away. I reached up and lightly tugged on the braid. He groaned and closed his eyes.
"Anything you do could, to be honest." He huffed before snaking his arm under my back. He went to arch my back while I kissed his neck but he accidentally caught some stitches on my side. I gasped in pain against his neck.
"Shit." He quickly put me back down and pulled back. He shimmied up my shirt to check the wound.
"Damn. It's bleeding a bit." He was up and off the bed in a nano-second. He came back into the room with some supplies. I sat up so he could clean it. We sat in silence for a bit until the sound of his stomach rumbling. I turned to look at him.
"Told ya."
"Shut up." He grumbled with a roll of his eyes but he had a smile on his face. "Let me finish and we'll get some food. You've been tired a lot lately, I didn't want to wake you up."
"Okay." I said softly as I watched him. He poked his tongue out in concentration, and I giggled, twirling the end of his braid between my fingers. This was something that nobody has ever seen. He may be the worst villain out there, but right here, he was just your soft, loving man.

Lover Lost? - Spinner x Reader
Main Masterlist ~ MHA Masterlist ~ MHA #2
Tumblr media
Requested by @iolite19 ~ I hope you like it! This is the first time I've written for him.
1692 words
Warnings: mentions of death, torture, depression, illusions to insanity.
Readers Quirk- angel healing. Can heal any injury no matter how severe, but it only works on themselves. They can't heal other people.
+ After being kidnapped by the LOV for your quirk, Spinner gets the job of making sure you don't die. Overtime, you and Spinner get close against the odds. Feelings start to develop. Then disaster strikes. Spinner starts to blame himself and falls into a depression. He believes he's going insane by seeing your ghost, but things aren't what they seem it would seem.
Tumblr media
I struggled against the metal chains that kept me to the chair. The bag over my head kept me from seeing anything but I knew they were quirk canceling cuffs on the chains. I couldn't use my quirk to heal the wounds I could feel on my head.
"Dammit." I muttered and let my head fall back in defeat. The room was silent and cold. I think I dozed off because I was jerked awake when the bag was Jerked off. I blinked rapidly, trying to clear my vision. There were multiple people standing in front of me.
"Bout time you woke Up." One of them mumbled. I finally recognized the people in front of me as the League of Villains.
"Why did you kidnap me?" I asked.
"We want your quirk." Shigaraki rasped.
"Well you can't have it." I glared.
"We weren't asking." He snapped. I rolled my eyes.
"They're spicy. I like them." Toga smiled sinisterly. I grimaced a little.
"My quirk is not useful to you or your cause." I simply stated.
"As I said.I still stand by my point that they're Angelic healing quick is of no use." I looked to see a man with a with a gecko quirk standing against the side wall. I recognized him as spinner.
"And I said it was. We could use it to heal our people after fights with the damn heroes." Shigaraki turned.
"My quirk can't heal others. Only myself." I said. Spinner nodded.
"As I said. I do the research."
"Then we alter it." Shigaraki turned and grabbed my chin harshly. "Whether you like it or not."
"Screw off."
"Brat." He roughly removed his hand. "Since you know then, you get to take care of them, Spinner." Shigaraki spat as he and the others left. Spinner glared after them. He scoffed and walked over grumbling.
"Sorry." I said softly. He gave me a confused look. "For them not listening to you. And for having to take care of me."
"Don't worry about it. I'm used to them not listening. Sometimes I don't know why I stay with these guys." He said as he walked over to the corner of the room. He filled a cup with water.
"What? Being a Villain?" I asked. He chuckled.
"No. The League's perspective on villainry is not so noble. They want to get rid of all heroes, saying all are dishonorable. I agree with Stain's approach." He held up the cup. I nodded and he helped me a drink.
"Thank you." He walked towards the exit.
"I'll bring you some food later."
"Hey Spinner." I called. He looked over his shoulder. "I agree that the false heroes shouldn't be heroes but I still think any villainry is bad." I said. He stood there for a second before nodding. He left.
~~
Time passed and I refused Shigaraki everytime. He started to get even more violent. Using his quirk on me, Dabi using his quirk an me, and so on. Spinner took care of me everytime. Cleaning me up and attending to my wounds since I couldn't use my quirk. As a result, we talked a lot and grew close.
I found out more about his ideals. I learned of his loyalty to the LOV and his valves to his comerades even if their ideals didn't coienside. Without him say it though, I could tell he was struggling with finding out who he really was.
"And then they called my mutant. Can't they come up with something new? I mean there are brats at UA that look even stronger than me!" He exclaimed as he finished cleaning the wound on my arm.
"Well that was rude." I said. "You look awesome." He paused and looked up at me.
"You're not put off by my Looks?"
"No. Gecko's are cool. Plus, it gives you awesome agilities right?" He nodded. "See. Cool."
"Huh. Thanks.”
*Time Skip*
I laughed as Spinner imitated how some of the lackeys acted on some of their first missions. I munched on the granola bars he did given me.
"You're kidding me! What scardy cats." I laughed. He nodded before coming and sitting next to me by the wall. He let me out of the chair now but the cuffs stayed on. He sot his head on my shoulder. I held out the granola bor to take a bite. He chomped a bite.
"They really sour the mood on missions." He grabbed a bottle of water a took a drink. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.
"I'm not looking foreward to sleeping in that Chair."
"Well..." He sat up and glanced at the door. "I don't have to leave yet. You can use my lap as a pillow. If you want I mean."
"Really?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay."
"Come on." I shifted and laid down, setting my head in his lap. "Comfortable?"
"Yes." I closed my eyes. I relaxed. After a few minutes of silence, I felt his hand barely brush my hair. when I didn't react, he did it again only a little more. In no time he was running his hand through my hair, playing with it. "Thank you, Spinner."
"Shuichi Iguchi. That'smy real name." He smiled. I returned and sat up.
"Thank you, Shuichi." I laid back down.
"Y-you're welcome, Y/N." He set his other hand on my stomach. "I promise I'll you safe. No matter what."
*Another Time Skip*
"Stop please!" I yelled as Shigaraki held tight to my arm, the indescribable pain coursing through my vains. He only held tighter and stared at me with daggers in his eyes. He then yelled throwing my arm away.
"This is useless!" He screamed. He walked towards the door. "Get rid of them! They're useless!" He looked at Dabi.
"Sure thing." He smiled wickedly and advanced on me. I struggled with nowhere to go.
3rd POV
Later that night, Spinner returned to the hideout and went to check on Y/N but paused when they weren't there. He looked around the room thoroughly. He went to Shiggy quickly.
"Oh we disposed of. They became useless."
"Disposed?" Spinner had to hold back the stutter in his voice.
"Dead." Spinner didn't remember leaving the room. He stumbled into his room, closing the door. Silent tears ran down his face. He could feel his heart crumble in his chest. Thoughts plagued his mind. What if he hadn't of left today? What if he had convinced them to give up their quirk? What if he had gotten them out of here when he had the chance? He was going down hill fast.
As days passed, he went further and further downhill. He had to keep it under wraps around everyone else since they didn't know about them. He felt numb and in pain all at of the same time. He even started to feel crazy when he thought he "saw" Y/N.
He was out with Dabi & Toga, casing out a potential hit for the League. He was leaning against the wall of the alley, staring at the ground and kicking a rock. He could hear Dabi and Toga chattering but a sound of the third person starting his way. He looked at the other end of the alley.
"Y/N?" He muttered when he saw their familiar form. It was weird though. Their form was barely there, almost wispy but he could see them. He stared until he had to blink. When he reopened his eyes, they were gone.
"Spinner? What are you doing?" Toga called.
"Nothing, Nothing." He shook his head. The hope that had quickly sprouted in his chest was blasted away painfully.
The next time was when he was sitting in the room Y/N was being held in. He was sitting against the wall on the far side of the room from the chair. He was absentmindedly staring at his boots. He hadn't been able to focus on anything today so he slipped into the room to avoid suspicion.
"Fuck, how could I let this happen?" He muttered. He pressed the heels of his palms into his eyes. He was trying stop the tears. "Dammit!"
He threw the cup he had in his hand across the room. He froze when he saw Y/N sitting in the chair. They were sitting there lifeless, like they had just been killed.
"No!" He covered his face. He was breathing heavily. After, a minute, he peaked between his fingers and there was no one there. The dust on the chair wasn't even disturbed. He went limp against the wall. He felt more tears coming on. "Fuck..."
It only gets worse. Spinner starts to thinks Y/N is haunting him. He couldn't blame them honestly. He already blamed himself for their death but he was sure that they were torturing him. Blaming him for not being there to save them. He officially thought he was going insane.
Spinner laid in the middle of the floor after about 2 months. He couldn't believe it had already been that long. He didn't care though. None of it mattered without them. He was stuck in his own head when a warm hand cupped his face and he instantly felt relief. His eyes cracked open and he saw Y/N standing over him. He wanted to groan at the sight, thinking his mind was playing tricks on him again but the touch threw him off. He's never been able to touch their ghost before, no matter how many times he tried. He cold feel their skin, the warmth, and he could even feel the tiniest bit of a pulse.
"Y/N?" He asked confused, pusing up onto his elbows. Y/N knelt next to him and smiled. “Is this real?”
"Hello, love."

+ When the Sully family sought uturu in the Metkayina clan, they didn't expect to find humans there, that far out in Pandora. They especially didn't expect to find out that the Olo'eyktan is in a relationship with the woman and has adopted her child as her own. Not to mention, his children listening to her as if she was their birth mother.
"Aonung?" I called from my spot by the cook pit. He popped his head into the marui's entrance.
"Yes ma?" He asked.
"Can you grab me the leather ties? Your father accidentally put them out of my reach again." I asked, pointing to a basket on a high shelf. He nodded and walked over to the basket grabbing a few ties for me.
"Here you go, ma." He hands them to me.
"Thank you." I took them and tied up the stuffed roasting leaves. He knelt down next to me and adjusted the grate over the cook pit for me. As I was about to set the food on the fire, we heard the horns from the reef.
"What the..." Aonung muttered before sharing a confused look with me. We both got up and walked over to the entrance. We saw 5 ikrans approaching.
"Ma?" Aonung looked down at me. As the ikrans landed I saw Ronal heading that way.
"Go on. If you see Kira, send her home please."
"Yes ma." He leaned down and kissed my head before running off. I walked back in and a few minutes later my daughter Kira came running in.
"What's going on, Mom?"
"I don't know. We'll wait for Wari to come and tell us." I run my hand over her head. "It's safer for us to stay here since we don't know the Navi that have come."
"Okay." She went and sat on a mat before pulling at the top she had been working on. It wasn't long until Tsireya walked in.
"Ma? Kira?" She smiled at us.
"What darling?" I looked up at her.
"Dad wants you to come meet some people." I was surprised but nodded.
"Come on Kira." I said as I walked towards the exit. She ran over and I pulled her into my side. We followed Tsireya to see a family of six standing next to Wari. As we walked up, I saw the family look at us completely shocked.
"Daddy!" Kira ran over to Wari and hugged his leg. He chuckled before picking her up.
"Hello, my Katir (rainbow)." He greeted Kira. He held her on his side before reaching for me. "Yawne."
"Hi." I took his large hand and he brought it up to his lips.
"Um, I'm confused." I heard one of the newcomers say. I looked at them. I looked at the oldest Male and realized he looked familiar. I glanced down and saw he had 5 fingers and toes.
"Jake Sully." He met my gaze as I said his name.
"Yes. I am. How did you..." He trailed off.
"I worked at Hells gate." I said in English at first before switching back to Navi. "I was a scientist for botany. Another scientist and I were out on assignment when the battle of the Hallelujah Mountains happened. I was against the RDA's plans and tactics so I was deemed okay to stay."
"Oh. But how did you end up out here?"
"12 years ago, my companion and I were chased from our outpost lab by some viperwolves and he was killed. I made it to the coast but got washed out to sea by a severe storm. I was pregnant at the time and I was washed up here." I explained.
"How did you not get... Well, um killed?"
"We were shocked when she washed up. But when we realized she was pregnant, we couldn't hurt her. Even Ronal was hesitant. Ultimately, We realized she wasn't a threat and was allowed to stay. Along with her child." Wari explained before smiling at Kira.
"But you two are together?" The woman asked. Jake looked a little mortified.
"Neytiri. Human and Navi relationships weren't unheard of back home." Jake said quietly.
"Yes but the Olo'eyktan? That isn't ..." She started to ask.
"Neytiri! Not our place." He said urgently. I chuckled. "Plus you really have no room to talk." Her eyes widened.
"Fine." She huffed before turning to us. With a genuine look in her eye, she apologized. "I am sorry."
"It's alright. We know it's out of the norm." Wari smiled. "Now, Tsireya will show you to your marui."
"Thank you. It was nice to meet you." Jake smiled and Tsireya led them away. Wari let Kira down who followed her sister. Wari and I headed back to our marui.
"So, why are they here?"
"They seek uturu."
"Uturu? Why?" I looked up at him confused.
"From the sky people." I nodded. I had a nagging feeling in my chest but shook it off. "You're worried about something."
"You know me to well." I chuckled. He reached down and picked me up. "The thought of humans back on Pandora is just a chilling thought. I can understand why Jake has done this."
"Do not worry, Ma'Y/N. We are safe here." He nuzzled my cheek. I cupped his cheek.
"I know. I just can't help but worry." I said as he carried me into our home.
"Everything will be Okay." He assured me. He sat down and set me on his lap. He began playing with my hair. I sighed, relaxing.
"Okay, my love. I trust you." Not long after that Kira, Teysira, and Aonung came in.
*Time skip*
A couple of weeks later, I was out collecting some shells for jewelry and clothes. I was out wading in the water a ways away from the village when I heard the sound of a fight. I quickly walked that way to see the Sully kids and Aonung with his friends fighting.
"Okay enough!" I yelled walking up to them. "Aonung! Roxto!"
"Shit!" I heard Lo'ak muttered.
"Break it up." I snapped. Aonung and Roxto quickly broke off and backed up. Neteyam pulled Lo'ak away. "Seriously?! Acting like petty children. I can't believe any of you!"
"Ma, I'm ..."
"Don't even Aonung!" I turned to look up at him. "I know you started this so don't even start. I am very disappointed in you." His ears fell back and he curled into himself with his tail dropping.
"Yes ma'am." I turned to the Sully boys and Kiri. They looked surprised at me.
"I'm disappointed in you two as well." I said to Neteyam and Lo'ak. They looked guilty. "Everyone, back to the village. We're going to talk to Wari and Jake now. Kiri you don't have too, sweetheart."
"Yawne?" Wari looked up as we entered. "What's wrong?"
"I'll explain as soon as Jake gets here. Wari looked between the boys and his gaze hardened at the looks of them.
"I may have an idea after all." He said. Once Jake arrived, I explained everything to Jake and Wari and we parted ways to speak to our kids privately. Once at our marui, I pointed at the mat for Aonung to sit.
"Do you have any respect for Kira and I?" I asked. Aonung's ears laid back.
"Of course I do."
"Then why do you treat Kiri like that? Lo'ak? Why do you treat them like demons when you call me Ma? Me, a human?!" I snapped. He flinched. I could feel Wari standing behind me. "You are being disrespectful to me and your sister as well as the Sully children. No more."
"Yes ma'am." He nodded. I turned away, rubbing my head.
"Go, think about what you've done. Think about our family. " Wari dismissed Aonung.
"Yes sir. Yes Ma'am." He stood. "I'm truly sorry, Ma." I nod and he leaves.
"Wari..." I turned to my mate with watery eyes. He gave me a sad smile. "Did I do something too..."
"No, no. You haven't clone anything. I'm sorry, Yawne. I don't know what's gotten into him." Wari knelt in front of me. He took my hand and nuzzled my neck. I could feel the tears nearly spilling from my eyes. I cuddled into his chest. He ran a hand up and down my back. "Shh, yawne."
"I am just confused. Sure he doesn't like humans much and I understand. But Jake proved himself to the Na'vi. His kids are born Na'vi and don't deserve to be treated like demons."
"I hate to say it but I figure he's following his mothers displeasure in the situation." Wari said and I agreed. furiously wiped my face.
"You're right. But Aonung is doing a lot more than grumbling about this." I mumbled as I nodded. He gave a small chuckle before cupping my cheek.
"Well, I believe you straighten him out, Ma'Y/N." He comforted me with encouragement.
"Thank you, Ma'Wari. I hope so." I smiled before sighing. "I don't know what we're going to do with that boy."
A little while later after Wari calmed me down, Jake came to us nearly in a panic with Neteyam and Aonung in tow.
"What?!" I exclaimed as Jake told us that Lo'ak was missing. My mind immediately went to Anoung doing something. I turned to the boy with a glare before Neteyam stepped up.
"I can assure you Aonung didn't have anything to do with it. Just after he spoke privately with you, he came and found me to apologize. And I went with him to apologize to Kiri. So Aonung was with me and Kiri when Loak disappeared."
"Alright. Good. Thank you Neteyam." I said and gave Aonung a soft smile. He gave one back. Tonowari set his hand on my back.
"I'll help look for him." He says turning to Jake. "I have a feeling that this has something to do with my friends. Plus I need to try and make up for the way I've treated him. It wasn't right or fair. I am very sorry."
"Thank you for apologizing," Jake nodded.
"Come. We'll start the search." Tonowari said to Jake. He directed some others before turning to me. "I'll be back. can you keep an eye out in case he makes it back?"
"Of course. Go." He nodded and gave me a kiss on the head. Everyone quickly dispersed but Aonung walked up to me.
"I'm sorry ma. I promise I'll do better by our family." He said genuinely as he knelt down in front of me.
"I know." I hugged him. I gave him a pat on the head. "Now go. Help find Lo'ak. Anything can happen to him out there. You, I, and your father will talk about it more later."
"Yes ma." He smiled. He followed everyone else. I sighed and shook my head.
"Eywa, what am I going to do with that boy?" I asked out loud. I heard a familiar set of giggles next to me. I turned to see Tsireya and Kira. "Come on you two. We better go check on Tuk, Kiri, and Neytiri."
"Okay Ma." They nodded and we left.

Warnings: none except slight spoilers if you haven't seen MHA. (If there is any, please let me know so I can add.)
+Yagi and Siren have played the cat and mouse game ever since they met. Yagi never made a move because he thought he was too much her senior. They flirt on the constant nothing ever comes until after the USJ incident. The scare motivates him to confess.
Tumblr media
"Who do you think for class roasters?" I asked effectively starting the meeting. Deliberations started up. We were in the days between the Entrance Exam and announcing to the students about admission.
"I want Bakugou and Iida in 1-A, no question." Aizawa said. No one argued with him. We all made notes.
"What about Monoma Neito and Midoriya Izuku?" I asked. I saw Yagi perk up and looked at him. He hadn't shown that much interest in the whole time we've been sorting. I lightly kicked him for his attention. He looked at me and I raised my eyebrow in question. He gave me a smile and waved me off.
"I'll take Monoma. He's got a great quirk but needs some humbling." Vlad said. "I think Midoriya should be in 1-A."
"No." Aizawa denied immediately. Everyone made a complaint. I saw Yagi deflate a little.
"Aizawa, he had the highest rescue score. In all my years working here and when I went here, I don't ever remember someone getting a perfect in rescue." I defended the young man. I shared a look with Yagi. "Sure he didn't do well in combat but that can be taught. That can be learned. His fervor to rescue can't be. He has amazing potential."
"Siren..."
"No Aizawa. You need to give that kid a chance. He's got something special." I gave him a firm look. He sighed heavily.
"Fine. Midoriya is in class 1-A."
"Yes!" Mic cheered. There were others who gave sounds of excitement. I looked at Yagi and he looked relieved.
"Okay. Let's take a break." Nezu said. After a few minutes, I found Yagi outside. I walked up to him.
"Now tell me why I vouched for Midoriya so hard." I bumped my hip against his. He chuckled and looked at me.
"What do you mean?" He asked coyly.
"I mean, when he was mentioned you perked up and when Airawa said no, you deflated." I said. I poked his chest. He just smiled but he didn't answer. "Come on. Don't make me sing to make you tell me."
"Fine, fine." He glared playfully. "I just see something in young Midoriya. It kind of reminds me of a younger me."
"Uh huh..." I narrowed my eyes on him. He wasn't telling me everything. "Fine, don't tell me everything but I didn't lie when I vouched for him. I believe in him."
"Thank you." I nodded and turned to go back inside.
"You can thank me by buying me lunch."
"You got it!" He called after me.
*Time Skip*
After a long first day, I was alone in the teachers lounge. I was lazily stirring my tea free handed with my quirk. I was writing notes on the students' beginning progress. It wasn't the best for any of them but what do expect for a Criminal tactics and psychology class. I looked over my shoulder when the door opened.
"Hey there handsome." I said when I saw All Might. He smiled at me before in a poof, he was just Yagi again. "How was your first day?"
"It was decent." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Want some tea?" I ask. He nods. I got up and walked over to the cabinet to grab his favorite tea. "I can make it. You don't have to."
"It's fine." I said waving my hand at him. I waved my hand and water came from the facet into the kettle. I turned on the heat to start it. I went back to the table and grabbed my cup.
"How was your first day? How did they do in class?" He asked, stepping up closer as I leant against the side of the table. I took a drink of my tea.
"Only a handful of all of them had any idea of what my class was about." We chucked.
"Who were those few?"
"Todoroki, Iida. No surprise there." I laughed. "Monoma, Kuroiro... Oh, and surprisingly Kaminari." I said, glancing at my notes.
"Well at least you're not starting from scratch with everyone."
"You said it." I said. The kettle started to whistle. I set my cup down and walked over. I turned off the heat before realizing I didn't get a cup out. I sigh and open the cabinet. All the rest of the cups were on higher shelves. I stood on my tip toes to try and reach one. Before I could resort to climbing on the counter, a hand reached past mine and grabbed a cup.
"I got it." Yagi said softly behind me. I looked at him over my shoulder where he stood right behind me.
"Okay." I reached for his tea and handed it to him. He put it in the cup and I poured some hot water in his cup.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." We stared at each other for a moment. I bit my lip as my heart started to beat faster.
"You know, Rachel. I..."
"Siren!" Mic's voice echoed into the room and I sighed. Yagi coughed a little and stepped back. Mic and Aizawa walked into the teachers lounge. "Oh, hey All Might."
"Hi Mic." Yagi greeted before turning to fix up his tea. "Thanks for the Tea Rachel."
"No problem." I nodded and walked back over to the table. Yagi bid all of us goodbye before leaving the room. It was silent for a Minute.
"Sooo..."
"Don't even." I interrupted Mic. Aizawa laughed as Mic complained.
*Day of USJ incident*
The rest of the staff and I rushed towards the USJ. Upon hearing the story from Iida, we all jumped into action. After arriving, the main villains unfortunately got away. I had sung the remaining villains into custody and the police vans. I glanced over at the ambulance where All Might and Midoriya were at. I wanted to go check on him so bad but had a job to do.
"Go on." I turned to see Mic. "Go on and check on him. I know you need to."
"Fine. But only if you go with Aizawa." I say. He hesitated.
"Go you two. We got this." Midnight pushed us both in our respective direction. We didn't argue and ran off. Both Yagi and Midoriya were half conscious when I joined them in the ambulance. I accompanied them back to UA and I waited in the corner of the room until they were deemed stable and okay.
"You both are insane." I sat on a chair between them and propped my feet on the edge of Yagi's bed. "Being reckless with your quirk is almost identical in both of you."
"I, I, I. Um..." Midoriya started to stutter.
"Relax, Midoriya. I know about the quirk transfer."
"You do?!' Yagi asked surprised.
"Yes."
"How?!" Midoriya squeaked.
"I figured it out." I said. "I did a little research after the selection meeting. I wanted to know what was so special about you. To my surprise, you were quirkless until right after the Entrance exam. Then I studied your quirk from the footage and since then and noticed the similarities to a certain someone. Not to mention Aizawa being suspicious about you two and coming to me for my opinion."
"Oh..." I looked at Yagi.
"Also, All might here wasn't very sly about his concern and interest for you." I smirked at Yagi. He chuckled and nodded. "Don't worry your secret is safe with me."
"Thank you." They both said.
After a while, Midoriya was allowed to go home and it was just me and Yagi. It was silent as I made a phone call to check on Aizawa. I looked at Yagi to see him sipping of the tea I made him as I talked to Mic
"He's stable and resting." I said after hanging up the phone.
"Good." Yagi nodded. He looked off into space. I went and knelt next to him.
"What's on your mind?" I asked gently.
"That's the closest I have been to death since the accident." He said while placing a hand on his scar. "And all I could think about was making sure those kids were safe and how I never..." He trailed off.
"Never what?" I set my hand on his. He turned and looked me in the eye.
"Never told you how I truly felt about you." He admitted. I looked at him in anticipation, willing him to continue. "I have had feelings for you for a while. I was content with the flirting and dancing we have been doing. I never acted on my feelings because of our age difference and..." I cut him off by leaning up and kissing him. I felt him freeze for a second before returning the kiss.
"About time you said something. I was beginning to think it was just me." I admitted. He chuckles.
"Definitely not." He leant forward and kissed me sweetly. "Now how about after I heal up and rest, I take you on a proper date."
"Sounds amazing."
“I plan to give you so much, Honey.”
*Fast Forward*
I return home only to smell the familiar cologne in the foyer. I glance down to see Toshinori's shoes. I smiled and quickly kicked off my shoes to go find him. I found him on the balcony. He was just standing there with his eyes closed. I lean against the doorway.
"Darling?" I call out to him softly. He looks over at me and smiles.
"You're alright."
"Of course." I walked over and wrapped my arms around him. He pulls me into his side. "Everyone is. Maybe a little bruised and some with broken bones but we're all alive."
"Thank god." He buries his face in my hair. He sighed heavily. "It's over."
"Yes. At least for now."
"Yes." He nodded pulling back. "But I know the future is in good hands. Young Midoriya, Young Bakugou, and the rest will keep the world safe."
"I'm confident in them as well." I agreed. "Confident enough that I am thinking of retiring or reducing my time as a hero."
"Really?" He looked at me surprised.
"Yes. I've done my time. I'll continue to teach of course but I want to start a normal life." We stood there in silence before he pulled my chin up to kiss me.
"Honey?"
"Yes?"
"I have a question for you."
"Okay."
"Marry me?" He said simply. I was stunned for a second before smiling. I kissed him softly. I didn't care that it was a simple proposal. I didn't need an extravagant proposal from the man I love. I just need the man.
"I would love to. Yes." He smiled wide and hugged me tight. I chuckled and hugged him back.
"You've made me the happiest man alive, Honey." I nuzzled his neck.
"Toshinori."
"Yes?"
"There is another reason I'm cutting back on hero work."
"What is it?" He asked, giving me a questioning look. I could see the worry growing in his eyes and on his face. I chuckled.
"Well." I took his hand and placed it on my stomach. He looks between his hand and my eyes.
"Are you ..."
"Pregnant." I nodded. "I found out just before everything. I didn't have time to tell you."
"Oh my..." I saw tears fill his eyes and he set his forehead on my shoulder. He laughed. "I never thought I would have any of this."
"Now you do. And I plan to give you much more." He lifted his head and looked into my eyes.
"I love you Rachel."
"And I love you."

Gift from Eywa Pt. 1 - Neteyam
Main Masterlist ~ Avatar Masterlist
Spoilers, if you have not seen Avatar The Way Of Water!!!!
Tumblr media
1912 words
Part 2
Warnings: anxiety attack, mentions of Neteyam's Death.
+ Losing Neteyam was hard on everyone. Especially his family and soon to be mate, you. Near the anniversary of his death, you start to see things. Like hallucinations of Neteyam being there. You think you're going crazy but in reality, it is something very different.
Tumblr media
It had been about a year since the battle at Three Brothers Rock. Nearly a year since I lost Neteyam. It still hurts and I still cry every now and then but I've grown to accept his absence. I had followed him here when his family fled and I stayed even after his death. He was my mate to be and they were my family, I would never abandon them.
I rolled my eyes as Lo'ak tripped over the edge of the walkway, falling into the water. Tsireya and I kept walking, laughing as he sputtered in the water. I could hear Ao'nung teasing him before another splash turned our attention.
"How?" I asked Upon seeing both boys in the water with a net over their heads.
"Gotcha!" I jumped and saw Tuk jump out doing a happy dance. I laughed and looked at Tsireya.
"Your brother and future mate." I teased.
"Oh you!" She lightly hit my shoulder. She went to help the boys.
"I'd help but I really need to get these meals out to the fisherman out past the East shores. I'll see you later!" I called.
"Bye!" She waved. I nearly made it to the sand when Tuk came running up.
"Can I go with you?" She asked, holding her hands together with a pout.
"Oh, I guess. Here carry this one for me." I motioned to the small basket on top of the other one I was carrying.
"Yay!" She cheered before grabbing the basket. She skipped ahead while singing some tune. It was a bit of a walk to where the fishermen were at.
We were just about there and Tuk ran ahead. I chuckled and called out for her to be careful. Movement in the corner of my eye pulled my attention. On a sandbar, just a little ways off shore was a Navi male. I shielded my eyes from the sun to get a closer look at who it could be. I stilled, not believing my eyes. If I didn't know any better, I would say it was for sure Neteyam.
"Nete..." I whispered. The Navi turned toward me as if he heard me. A heat wave distorted his appearance for a second and then my heart fluttered at the familiar sight.
"Hey, sweetheart!" I quickly looked to see Jake atop a sand dune with Tuk, waving me over. "Come on."
"Coming!" I called. I looked back to the sand bar and saw no one. I looked around confused. The water wasn't disturbed around the area and the sand itself was smooth as if no one had been standing there. I jogged over to Jake and he took the basket from me.
"You alright, sweetheart?" He set a hand on my shoulder, looking at me worried.
"Yes. Just a bit hot." I assured him.
"Okay. If you're sure?" He asked. I nodded. "Alright. Go sit in the shade before heading back, both of you. Cool off for a bit."
"Okay." I agreed. He kissed Tuk's head before walking off. I sent one last toward the sand bar before heading towards the shade.
~
The Sully's decided to have a family day and invited Tonowari and his family as well. We were all at a small private cove after a leisurely fly. My ikran was playing with the others and the ilus a little farther offshore. The adults were lounging in the shallow water while the rest of us were out in deeper water.
"Catch me if you can!" Lo'ak yelled before splashing us. He drove down and swam away. We chased after Him for a bit. I veered off after a little bit to venture through the reef. I giggled as I was visited and nuzzled by some small fish.
Ahead of me just a bit, a small school of fish were scared off by something. A hand reached out from behind some plants and pulled themselves forward slightly. Before me was Neteyam again. I was in disbelief as he cocked his head to the side and smiled at me.
Neteyam? I signed and he nodded. He waved me over before backing out of sight. I quickly swam forward and rounded the corner... there was nothing there. I swam around a bit and found no sign of him. A hand was placed on my shoulder and jumped back into the reef. I flinched as I was cut up a bit. I turned to see Kiri.
Are you okay? She signed. I looked around and nodded. She came over and inspected my shoulder and pointed toward the shore. I went reluctantly.
~
A feast was being held for the anniversary of the defeat of the Sky people and a memorial for the lost in the battle. I was sitting in a hammock off to the side and just watching the festivities. I was nibbling on a sweet treat that Tseriya insisted I have when Neytiri came over to pull me to dance.
"Neytiri!" I whined but followed nonetheless. After a long, tiring dance I retreated to the side again.
It was late and I decided to turn in. After saying my goodbyes and goodnights I slipped away. I headed towards my marui but as I got there, there was someone standing in the entrance. I paused midstep, squinted at the figure.
"Who's there?" I called out and moved forward slowly. I thought about going back to get Jake or Lo'ak when the person responded back.
"Welcome home, Yawne." They said, The familiar voice struck a chord in my heart. Neteyam looked over his shoulder with a smirk before walking further in. I ran in after him only to find the space empty, There was a subtle trace of his scent in the air.
"No... why... I don't under..." I was so confused at what was happening. Why was I seeing Neteyam everywhere? So many emotions hit me all at once and a sob escaped my throat. Wails and sobs forced their way out as I cried and let out the frustration from all this.
I dropped to my knees as I cried. I doubled over on myself and wrapped my arms tightly around myself. I began to cry so hard that my breathing became irregular. I began to hyperventilate when I heard someone yelling behind me.
"Hey! Hey! Breath. What's wrong, sweetheart?" Jake appeared in my vision. He looked scared. I couldn't answer him as I began to choke. He helped me sit up. "Shit. Come on. I need you to breathe. Please!"
"Cc-can't." I was able to force out as the corners of my vision blurred. He said something else but it was muffled. Before anything else, I promptly passed out.
A cold sensation on my forehead woke me up from my dreamless slumber. I reached up and batted at the cold sensation.
"Yawne She's awake!" Someone called softly. I pried my eyes open and saw the ceiling of the tsahik's marui above me. I looked off to my left and saw Tonowari kneeling next to me. Ronal came in quickly and took his spot.
"How are you feeling?" She asks, brushing a hand over my head.
"Alright. A bit groggy but okay." I answered honestly. She nodded and began to check me over. Not long after, Jake & Kiri came running in.
"How are you feeling sweetheart?" Jake asked, kneeling on the other side of me. Kiri sat at my feet.
"Okay. What happened?"
"You passed out. Dad found you crying hysterically and you began to hyperventilate before passing out." She ran a comforting hand over my ankle.
"Sit up child." Ronal instructed. Jake helped me up and Ronal began to check my head. "Has anything strange happened recently?"
"Well actually..." I sighed.
"What is going on?" Kiri asked.
"Well, lately I've been having I don't know how to describe it... hallucinations maybe? Visions?"
"Of what?" Ronal set a hand on my shoulder. I didn't answer right away.
"Of Neteyam." I said softly. "It's like I'm seeing him everywhere. On the beach, on the reef, in my home... but everytime I see him he disappears just as quickly. It feels like he's actually there. I even could smell his scent this last time and and... I feel like I'm going crazy."
"No, child. There has to be an explanation. It could be due to the anniversary of his death and stress of the memory that comes with it. Grief has been known to play many tricks on the mind."
"I don't know..." I sniffled and leant into Kiri's side as she moved up next to me. She began to run her hands through my hair.
"We'll figure it out. Don't worry." Jake said. He squeezed my hand in comfort with a smile. I nodded my head and closed my eyes.
Later that day, I was walking down the beach with Ao'noug and Tsireya. I held my wrap around my shoulders as they argued about something. I hardly paid attention to them. I let the sea air calm me as I walked along wading in the shallow water.
"Shit..." I heard a voice speak faintly from somewhere followed by faint coughing. I looked back at the siblings to see if it was them or if they noticed but they were still arguing. I continued on until the sound of the cough happened again. I looked around and found nothing. Afraid someone may be hurt, I walked out of the water to look more. I paused when a figure entered my vision.
"Oh no. Not again." I saw Neteyam on his hands and knees across a bit of foliage on another piece of shore. I sighed, letting my shoulders fall. This was getting ridiculous.
"What is wrong? Do you see something?" Tsireya called out to me.
"No" I turned to look at her. "Nothing. I..." I turned back fully expecting the specter to be gone but he was still there, only trying to stand now. He coughed loudly.
"What was that? Was that someone coughing?" I looked at Ao'noug in disbelief. He had heard him. That must mean...
"Impossible." I turned back yet again to see him still there. "Neteyam... Neteyam!" I took off running for the boy. I ignored the calls from Tsireya and Ao'nong. He looked up when he heard me.
"Yawne..." He said before coughing again. He began to collapse just as I reached him. I caught him before he hit the ground, laying him in my lap.
"Nete... Oh my... you're here." Tears clouded my vision as I brushed my hand across his forehead. The two came running up but skidded to a halt when they saw Neteyam.
"Oh my Eywa. Neteyam?" Tsireya knelt next to us. Neteyam's eyes never left mine. I traced my fingers across his face, taking in the markings I missed so much and down to his chest to where the bullet wound should be but there was nothing.
"Go. Go get your father, mother, Jake, Neytiri. Someone! Quickly." They both took off and dove in the water towards the village.
"Yawne... I'm so tired. What happened? Where were you?" Neteyam asked.
"All in due time, love. For now, just rest. Yes?" I adjusted him to be leaning with his head against my shoulder. He reached up and held my bicep tightly.
"Yeah, yeah. Rest." He mumbled before closing his eyes. I refused to take my eyes off him even as everyone arrived, afraid he would disappear from me again.

What Agreement?! - Bakugou x Reader
Main Masterlist ~ MHA Masterlist ~ #2
Tumblr media
I hope you like this!
Requested by @simply-trash5
1722 Words
+ You and Bakugou had been close ever since 1st year. After graduation, you two stayed close. From working at the same agency to being with each other's go for almost everything. Save for the few things he only shares with Deku and Kirishima. You thought from how personal and soft he sometimes acted with you, that he shared your feelings for him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/N's POV
I sighed as the train ride seemed to take forever. I could hear the whispers and clicks of people's phones from both sides of me. I ignored it, having got used to it over the past couple of years. Finally the train made it to the station and I quickly got off while dialing my phone.
"Hello?" Mina chirped on the other end.
"Hey Mina. Sorry I'm late. I'm just a few blocks away so I'll be there in a few minutes.
"Great! I was starting to wonder. But Y/N, to have is something you should know. Kat..." The sound of some fangirls coming towards me caught my attention.
"Damn. I thought they were going to leave me alone. You'll have to tell me later Mina. I'll be there in a few minutes." I hung up the phone.
After about 10 minutes, I was able to slip away to get to the party. I walked a few blocks to the restaurant. I was greeted first by Sero outside who was out for a smoke. I found Mina next who as soon as she saw me, she looked panicked a bit.
"What's wrong Mina? You look like you've seen the worst thing in the world." I chuckled. "Where's Bakugou? You mentioned him."
"Not the worst for me but for you maybe." I gave her an amused but curious look.
"Okay now you have to tell me." We walked into the actual room for our party.
"Well let's just say, um... Katsuki..." I listened to her until Katsuki's voice caught my attention. I quickly zeroed in on him, only for my stomach to drop by what I saw. Katsuki was standing across the room next to Kirishima. Kirishima wasn't the deal, it was Katsuki's arm around some girl I've never seen before, shoulders. "Yeah that."
"He has a... date?"
"Yeah. I tried to warn you on the phone. I'm sorry."
"I, um... That's fine." I stuttered.
"Y/N?" Katsuki looked over at that moment and saw me. He waved me over.
"I'll talk to you later, Mina." I walked over to the three standing there. Kirishima and I swapped greetings before he gave me a sympathetic smile and walked away.
"Y/N. This is Maya. My girlfriend. Maya,  this my best friend Y/N."
"Nice to meet you." I shook her hand. "Wow Kats. A girlfriend. I had no idea."
"Yeah. We wanted to keep it on the down low from everyone until we got more comfortable With each other."
"Oh that makes sense. Especially with our crazy friend group." I forced a chuckle. Plus, to prove my point Denki screamed something across the room before the lights flickered.
"Spark plug..." Kat muttered. Maya giggled and set her hand on Kat's chest. My throat closed off at seeing how close they were. Kat still didn't like us touching him outside a high five, a shoulder touch, or back slap even after all these years.
"Well, I'm going to greet a few of the others. It was nice meeting you Maya."
"It was nice meeting you too!" She said sweetly. I smiled and walked away. I could feel my eyes stinging as I walked towards a blurring figure with purple hair.
"Hey there Stormy." Shinso greeted me softly. I wiped my eyes. I looked up and he gave me a sad smile.
"Hi." I greeted.
"Come here." He held out his arm. I settled into his side and he hugged me tight. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be. It was bound to happen."
"Yeah. But we all thought it would be with you." He said softly. "Rooting for it actually."
"Yeah. Sorry to disappoint."
~
As the weeks went by, Kat invited me out to hang with him in Maya. I went most of the time but eventually I started to distance myself from him. Kats kept calling to hang out but I made every excuse to say no. I even started to pair up more with other heroes for shifts.
"Okay. I'm heading out for the day." I said as I packed up my stuff. I stood up from my desk and grabbed my bag.
"See ya later." Sero said while saving over his shoulder. "Oh by the way. Katsuki is getting real antsy about why you've been avoiding him."
"I haven't been avoiding him. I've been avoiding ... them, together." I admitted. He sighed and turned to me.
"Y/N, babe. I know seeing him with someone hurt but he is still my best friend. You keep acting like this, you're going to hurt him."
"I know." I plopped down in my chair. "It just hurts seeing the man I'm in love with with someone else. I mean it was bound to happen but I didn't think... I mean, Kat never showed interest in dating much, ever."
"I know. It took us all by surprise. Even Deku."
"I just can't stand the sight of them being all lovey. It's like a knife to the heart thrice times over."
"Um... Y/N."
"And I'm so in love with him that I don't know if I can get past this."
"Y/N..."
"I can't help but love him, Sero." I said before looking up at him. He looked a little pale and gave me an apologetic smile. I gave him a confused look.
"You what?!" A familiar voice snapped from my right. I quickly looked to see Kat standing there with a confused glare.
"Why didn't you tell me?!" I panicked, looking at Sero.
"I tried!" I looked back at Kat and he stood there with his cams crossed.
"Kat."
"Explain." He said in a condescending tone. The tone made me a little upset. And hurt. I looked away and got up.
"I'm leaving." I walked towards the elevator.
"Oh no you don't." He snapped and followed. I rolled my eyes and covered him in fog so he couldn't follow.
Later that night, I was sitting on my couch watching some TV. There was a familiar knock on the door that made me freeze up. I looked at the foyer before getting up. I walked to the door and opened it.
"Really? Fog?" He said unimpressed.
"Worked didn't it." I said. He rolled my eyes. I went to close the door.
"Wait!" He put a hand on the door keeping it open.
"Kat, I can't do this right now."
"Y/N. Please let me in. We need to talk." He said quietly, trying to hide the fact that he was pleading.
"I don't want to." I started to close the door again.
"It wasn't real!" He shouted, panicked. I paused and reopened the door.
"What wasn't real?" He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. I finally noticed how disheveled he looked, like he had gotten dressed in a flurry and his hair was entirely out of place.
"The relationship with Maya." He said. I was silent for a minute.
"WHAT?!" I exclaimed. He bit his lip. "Get in here!"
"Okay." He stepped in and kicked off his shoes. We walked in farther.
"Explain!" I snapped.
"Maya and I made this little agreement."
"Agreement?"
"Yeah um."
"So you lied to everyone?" I said in disbelief
"Well, yeah." He said. "But..."
"Katsuki!" I scoffed. I was pissed at him. "Why would you do this?! This isn't like you. You don't lie!"
"I know but..." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"I just can't believe you would do this and..."
"Will you just listen to me?" He snapped. I looked at him only half surprised.
"Yeah, yeah." I nodded. He sat down.
"I did it because I thought it would make you jealous and if you had feelings for me, you would speak up or do something. When you didn't I figured you didn't have feelings for me." He sighed heavily and sat back on the couch. "But then I heard you today."
"Shit. Right." I muttered and hugged myself.
"Maya agreed to help me and I shouldn't have done it but I did. It hurt us both in the end." He let his head fall into his hands. I had never seen him act like this, so it must really be bothering him. I sat down next to him. "I nearly caused myself to nearly lose another best friend. Again."
"You haven't lost me." I said softly. He looked over at me.
"I haven't?" I could see the doubt hidden in his eyes.
"No. I wasn't going to leave you. I just needed time to get past the fact you were with someone else. As you probably heard me say to Sero, I'm in love with you and it hurt to see you with Maya." I admitted. "I had to face it sooner or later but I wasn't going anywhere."
"Oh. Good." We sat there in an awkward silence. I was looking down at my lap. "Hey, look at me."
"What?" I looked up at him. He took a big breath. Cupping my chin, he moved in closer.
"Tell me to stop and we can go back to being friends." He said. There was a beat of silence before I pulled him in the rest of the way by his shirt. The kiss was the complete opposite then you would think coming from Bakugou Katsuki. It was sweet and longing when I thought it would be, well rough and hard.
"We are not going back to being just friends." I said when I pulled away. He chuckled and slithered his arms around my hips, pulling me close. He pulled me into another more passionate kiss.
"Fuck no." He said breathlessly.
"I think we need to thank Maya majorly. We owe her big time." I chucked.
"Oh she benefited from the arrangement too." I lifted an eyebrow in confusion and curiosity.
"How so?"
"She was trying to make the girl she likes jealous too. Except, it worked in her favor." He huffed and did his trademark Bakugou pout. I giggled. I looked up at the clock.
"Okay come on." I stood up, holding out my hand. He gave me a bitch face but took my hand anyway.
"What?"
"We're going out for something to eat." I pulled him up. "And you're paying."
"Fine but I get to pick the place." He smirked.
"Fine by me."
Our Place - Lo'ak x Reader
Main Masterlist ~ Avatar Masterlist
Tumblr media
2106 words
Warnings: none (if you find one please let me know)
+ Lo'ak discovers a private spot one day and can't wait to show you, his best friend. That spot becomes a safe haven for you two. Eventually, it may just become more.
"Come on, Lo'ak! Were going to get in trouble!" I ran after the boy through the trees. I was laughing regardless of the chance for trouble.
"You know you love it!" He yelled back. We were out way past eclipse and curfew. He said he wanted to show me something but it was better to see it at night. I agreed without a second thought.
Lo'ak and I have been best friends since we were kids. My mother was a good friend and fought alongside Neytiri so it was fate for us to be friends. It was also a relief to his parents that I seemed to balance him out, sometimes.
"Hey slow down Lo'ak!" He was quite a bit ahead of me and was getting farther away. He just shot me a smile over his shoulder before disappearing from sight. I slowed as I made it to a small empty clearing. "Lo'ak?"
I couldn't see or hear Lo'ak anywhere. I turned around slowly scanning the area for the boy. My grip tightened on my bow as the silence grew. My tail was stiff behind me, Only the end twitching in unease as my ears twitched with every sound.
"Gotcha!" A hand grabbed my tail and yanked me back. I landed against his chest.
"Lo'ak! You skxawng!" I yelled and looked over my shoulder at him. His face was a lot closer than I anticipated. We were nearly nose to nose, close enough I could count everyone of his freckles. I noticed his hand was still holding my tail.
"Oh, um... Sorry but I got you. I totally did." He let go of my tail but lightly punched my shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah. You got me." I rolled my eyes but laughed nonetheless. He did a little dance. He is adorable.
"Come on. It's just a little ways this way." He pointed through the trees.
"Okay." I nodded. He grabbed my hand and pulled me along. My tail perked up at his touch.
I realized a long time ago that I had feelings for Lo'ak. Very deep, strong feelings for him. I would spend the rest of my life with him if he chose me.
"Here it is." He looked at me before pushing through some large leaf. Before us was the most beautiful waterfall spring I've ever seen.
"Oh my Eywa..." I gasped, covering my mouth in awe. I stepped out of the leaves and looked around.
The water was glowing with the bioluminescence. Perfect draped vines hang over some of the most beautiful flowers in every color. There was a wide overhang cave of the rocks next to waterfall. It would be a perfect shelter from the rain. The whole area was like an oasis for Eywa herself.
"Lo'ak... how did you find this place?"
"I was out here hunting one day on my own. I didn't find much to hunt but I found this." He was admiring the view with me. I met his gaze. "There's more though."
"More?" I looked at him shocked. He took my hand again and pulled me to a clear patch of grass. He pulled me to the ground and sat me next to him.
"Now lay back." He said as he laid back with arm behind his head. I did and looked up. From this Spot, there was a Perfect view of the stars. "Amazing isn't it?"
"Yeah." The word came out so soft, I wasn't sure if he heard me. We laid there in peaceful silence for a while. "Thank you for showing this to me."
"Of course." I looked over at him and I could see the reflection of the stars in his bright yellow eyes. I bit the inside of my cheek as my heart fluttered. He must have sensed my gaze because he turned to meet it. We shared a smile before turning back to the sky.
~
After that, the clearing was our secret spot. The place where we could escape it all. We had brought stuff to make the place more comfortable. Pillows, blankets, etc. We went very often. Like today.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you but it's my life. I'll do what I choose." I screamed as I ran out of my family hut. I just had an recurring argument with my parents. This time though, everything went too far.
"Y/N!" I heard them yell but I ignored them. I wanted nothing to do with them. I ran through the village, past the Sully's, and into the trees, heading for the spot. Tears were running down my face by the time I made it. I stumbled and fell as soon as I made it into the clearing.
"Shit!" I yelped as pain shot through my left wrist. Thunder rolled above me as I slowly got up to my knees. I glanced up at the dark clouds before getting up & walked over to the cave. I collapsed into the bedding and I broke down. The weather matched my tears but with earnest.
"Y/N! Y/N!" Someone's voice broke through the storm after about 10 minutes. I peeked out from the pillows to see someone running through the rain. They quickly jumped up and stepped into the cave with me.
"Lo'ak?" I croaked, throat raw from the crying.
"Woo! It's really pouring." He laughed, shaking off the water. "What's up? Tuk said she saw you run by at full speed and..." He paused, dropping his bow. "What's wrong?!"
"Lo'ak..." I tried to wipe my face.
"You've been crying. What's wrong? Who did this?" He knelt in front of me, cupping my face. I started to sob again. "Shit..." He pulled away.
"No!" I whimpered, reaching for him. I grabbed his wrist. He set his hand over mine and caressed my wrist with his other hand.
"I'm not going anywhere. I just need to dry off and I'll be right back, I promise." I reluctantly let go. I buried myself in the pillows again. It was only a few minutes before he came back. He hopped over me before sitting behind me. "Come here."
"Okay." I turned over and shuffled in close. He pulled me into his chest and laid back. Fingers began to run through my hair and he laid his head on mine. The tenderness sent me over the edge again. I sobbed into his neck and in response, he tightened his grip and softly spoke.
"It's okay. Go ahead and cry. I've got you." He said into my hair. The gentle touches, the sound of his breathing, and the warmth of his skin was like a safety blanket. After I didn't even know how long, I began to calm down. "There we go."
"I'm... I'm sorry." I hiccuped as I wiped my face. He sat us up and scooted back to lean against the pillows, tucking me into his side.
"No, no. Don't be sorry. You did nothing wrong." He took over in wiping my tears away. I met his soft eyes and he gave me a smile that made my heart melt. "What happened?"
"My parents and I got into a major fight." I revealed.
"About?"
"My future and who I choose to be my mate." I said. His eyes widened before speaking.
"Oh, what about it?"
"They want me to follow the same path as my aunt and not be a Warrior. They also want me to choose to mate with Ni'vite."
"Ni'vite? He's an asshole and a sleazy bastard."
"I know. But they won't listen to me. They only see the strong warrior and not the boy he is." I set my head back down on his chest. "They said they will make it an arranged mating."
"What! Why would they... that's not fair to you. You should be able to choose who you want and what you want to do with your life."
"You would think but they think otherwise." I grumbled. I finally calmed down and snuggled into him more. Tears were still falling but silently now.
"So have you already chosen who you wish to bond with?" There was something in his voice that gave way to being upset and pained.
"Well yeah um, no but I..." I sat up and detached myself from him. I could feel his eyes on me. I wanted to tell him the truth and tell him I chose him but I was scared of losing him.
"Y/N?" He sat up too, setting his hand on my back. I peaked at him to see him worried and eyes full of care. Turning out to look into the rain, trying to gather the courage I needed. I took a big breath. "Are you alright?"
"I have chosen." I said.
"Can I ask who?" He asked softly.
"Yes."
"Then who..." I turned, grabbing his face. I pulled his lips to mine and he made a noise of surprise. I kept my eyes closed, waiting for his response. My heart ignited in my chest when he began to kiss me back. His arms wrapped around me and softly pulled me with him as he laid back. I laid on top of him on his chest.
"I choose you Lo'ak." I whispered as I pulled away. I propped myself Up with one hand. He looked up at me with starry eyes. He seemed to be in another world beneath me. '"Lo'ak?" His eyes focused and met mine with a determined glint. He cupped my face while pushing himself up. His lips met mine eagerly as if I were the air he needed to breathe. I moaned against his lips as he pulled me into his lap.
"I choose you too." He said as he pulled away, breathless. We were both breathing heavily, chests brushing against each other with every breath. I felt tears well up again but this time with happiness. I giggled and hugged him tight. I felt his hands brush up my back before returning the hug.
We sat there for a few minutes, enjoying each other's presence before I pulled away. He took my hand, smiling from ear to ear. I giggled at how adorable he was. I reached up and pulled the band holding his hair back out and smiled.
"You always liked it better down, didn't you?" I nodded.
"But it looks good no matter the way." I run my fingers through his hair before trailing my hand down to place it over his heart. "Oel Ngati Kamele, Lo'ak." He sucked in a breath before copying my movements.
"Oel Ngati Kamele, Y/N." He said softly but sincerely. A loud clap of thunder spooked us out of our moment. Lo'ak clutched me to his chest as the rain began to come down harder and the Storm got worse.
"I think it's best if we stay here for a while." I suggested. He nodded quickly. He pulled us deeper into the bedding before laying us down again.
"I'm going to let my dad know, so he doesn't freak out." He said while reaching for the communicator on his neck.
"Good idea."
~Time Skip~
I sat on my knees in the small meadow. I looked around, taking everything in. All the memories me and Lo'ak have made here running through my mind. I clutched the windchimes Lo'ak had made right after we declared this place ours to my chest. The birds, the water, and my sniffling was the only thing that could be heard now.
"Yawne..." I turned to see Loak coming out from the brush, holding a big leaf away from his face. He had a sad look on his face that matched how I felt. "We must go now."
"Ok-nay..." A sob escaped my throat. I covered my mouth.
"Oh Y/N..." He came over quickly, kneeling and pulled my head to his chest. I cried, setting my hand above his heart. I could feel his breath shuddering. "I'm going to miss this place too. But you know we must go. You know that."
"I know. I know." I pulled back and he reached up to wipe my tears. He helped me up and noticed the windchimes in my hands. He smiled.
"Bringing a bit of this place with us?" I nodded. I leant against his side while looking around one more time.
"I hate the RDA sky people."
"Me too." He said before pulling me away. I longingly looked back Until it disappeared from sight. I hope one day we could come back but for now, Jake and the rest of the Sully's were waiting for us so we could seek uturu, away from the demons.
Hi I was thinking if you could do aizawa having a sibling or daughter. Like a younger sister or daughter who he teaches and do some type of angst with them. Like him not paying much attention to her or she’s caught doing something (like smoking,drugs) or both. Something like that. Thank you 😊
How Would You Know Anymore?! - Aizawa x Sister! Reader
Tumblr media
1354 words + You're the younger sister of Shota and ended up being in his class. You weren't expecting any special treatment at all but Shota was acting like you didn't even exist or was on the verge of being too harsh. No inbetween. You eventually start to act out and threaten your own position in class 1-A. Quirk: Can temporarily cancel or stun someone's quirk by touching them. As you train, the amount of time the person is without their quirk is lengthened. Eventually, you'll be able to control how much time it is.
~
Y/N's POV
I was sitting at my desk, tapping my pen on the desktop. I was staring off into space while everyone was working on our English homework. A hand slammed down on top of mine, effectively stopping my tapping. I glanced to see it was Bakugou who wasn't even looking at me.
"Cut that out. It's annoying." He muttered while still working. I sighed and dropped my pen when he took his hand away.
"Y/N?" I looked up to see Hizashi looking up at me. He waved me up to his desk. I got up and walked up to him. I could see the concern in his eyes as he talked quietly. "What's up? You seem distracted. A lot lately."
"I've just a little out of it lately." I whispered.
"Do you know why?"
"Yeah. But I don't want to talk about it." I said.
"Would you want to talk about it with Shota?" I barely held back the scoff. I shook my head. He narrowed his eyes at me. "Fine. Head back to your desk."
"Yes sir."
Later, the class was out on the training field and Shota was giving some evaluations. He was going through everyone, giving detailed instructions, until he got to me last. He just gave me a look before speaking.
"Needs improvement." He said before walking away. I stared at him in shock before throwing my arms up in frustration.
"That's it?!" I yelled. He stopped and looked at me.
"Is there a problem?" He glared at me.
"Problem? Like you would know! For real!" I snapped. He didn't say anything and I scoffed. I turned and stormed towards the locker room.
"I haven't dismissed you!" He yelled.
"I don't give a fuck!" I replied without looking back. Knowing my brother, I knew he would use his capture weapon. I timed it and dodge rolled out of the way just in time and continued walking.
I got changed quickly and speed walked to my secret spot in the school. It was a small nook outside out of sight from prying eyes that I come to when I need to de-stress or wind down from the day. I plopped down and pulled out the hidden pack of cigarettes. I light one and take a drag. I will admit, my methods of de-stressing has changed drastically since school started. Since my brother started acting like I was that spot on the mirror you ignore until its absolutely annoying enough to clean.
I thought about the past few months. How things have changed and how this drift has come up between me and my brother. I cringed when I though about how disrespectful I've been to some of the teachers lately. I sat there for a while before a cough interrupted me.
"Shit." I looked up and saw Midnight with her arms crossed over her chest and a disappointed look on her face. "Hi, Midnight."
"Nezu's office. Now." She said firmly, holding out her hand. I set the carton of cigarettes in his hand.
"Yes ma'am." I put out the cigarette and walked towards Nezu's office. Midnight followed and explained everything to Nezu. I heard him call Shota and I internally groaned.
"I'm very disappointed in you, Y/N." Nezu said. I looked down ashamed. "Acting out, cussing out teachers, and now caught smoking on a strict no smoking campus."
"I'm sorry, sir." I said softly. The door burst open and I turned to see Shota.
"What's going on?" He asked with a stern look on his face.
"Aizawa, Y/N was caught smoking." Nezu said plainly.
"What? Y/N!" Shota turned to me with a mixture of emotions. "Are you serious?"
"What's the matter? You do it!" I snapped.
"Yes. But I am an adult. I also don't do it on school grounds. Y/N this is so unlike you."
"How would you know anymore?! It's not like you even pay attention anymore!" I glared. He paused and something flashed across his face. He turned and spoke to Nezu before looking at me.
"Come on. We're going home." He waved me on.
The trip home was silent. Inside it was ever worse. He went to the kitchen and grabbed two water bottles. He handed one to me. He sat down and sighed.
"What's going on?" He asked softly. I was surprised for a second but remembered who I was talking to. I sighed heavily and dropped down next to him.
"Ever since the Sports festival..." I started to explain. "You've basically been..." I trailed off.
"I've been..." He gently urged.
"You've been treating me like barely a blip on your radar. You barely treat me as an equal to the other students. I don't expect to be treated as your sister at school of course, but you don't even treat me like a worthy student."
"Y/N..." He sighed, leaning his elbows on his knees. He started rubbing his forehead. "I'm sorry."
"Really?" I was surprised he apologized so quickly.
"Yeah. I got so in my head about being careful to not treat you with any favoritism as my little sister that I took it too far and didn't even treat you like my student." He looked at me. "The incident at the USJ struck me with the reality that you were doing this and I couldn't accept it."
"Shota. I'm okay."
"I know." He sat up straight and pulled me into his side. I hugged him and he rubbed my arm. "I just never thought as you were growing up that you would follow in my footsteps."
"Are you kidding me?" I looked up at him." You were and are my hero Shota. Of course I would follow in your footsteps."
"Well you are not going to get to if you keep acting like you have been at school. I'm pretty sure Nezu had half a mind to suspend or expel you. And I know it was partially my fault but it needs to Stop now."
"You're right." I sighed, setting my head on his shoulder. "I'll do better if you do better."
"Deal." He said as he held out his hand. I took his and shook it. We sat there for a few minutes.
"Shota?"
"Yeah."
"How am I really doing? You know in training?" I asked hesitantly.
"You are improving very well. Of course there are things you need to work on. Like your footwork. You need to find your rhythm. I can help of course but you may ask Ojiro or Iida for some advice too."
"Thanks." He nodded before he stood up. He walked into his room before going and grabbing something out of his work bag. He held up the pack of cigarettes Midnight confiscated from me and his own pack.
"We both quit?" He asked. I smiled and nodded.
"For sure." I got up. He tossed them into the trash. I hugged him.
"I am sorry Sis. Really." He hugged me back. "Although, you have detention for the next two weeks though." I groaned.
"That's fair."
"And you're grounded for 2 weeks too."
"Seriously?!" I pulled away and looked at him.
"Yes." He looked at me, daring me to challenge him. I sighed heavily.
"That's fair too, I guess."
"You may get a break if you're good." He said. "You can start by... I don't know. Making your shrimp tacos with that tomatillo sauce for supper."
"Shota!" I could see him hiding a smile. "Real smooth. You're lucky I love you."
"Love you too, sis.”
Dreadlocks - Jake Sully
Main Masterlist ~ Avatar Masterlist
Author's Note:
Just a little thing that popped into my head 😁
Here it is. The fandom I was attributing to in this Ask poll I did a while back, I know its been a bit 😬. Let me know what you guys think.
Tumblr media
Words: 417? I'm not sure anymore lol + Reader is on the fence about Jake's dreadlocks. Setting Note: set between the movies. Neytiri and Jake are only friends and Reader is an avatar who went through the consciousness transfer like Jake
Tumblr media
I just stared at Jake as he sharpened one of his knives. He was sitting at the edge of our marui and I was sitting in our hammock. It was just before eclipse and everything was setting down in the village for the night while the night creatures of the forest woke up.
"I can feel you staring." He quipped without looking up at me. I didn't say anything and continued to stare. He laughed, letting his hands and head drop. He peered over at me with a big smile. "Care to share what's got you so focused?"
"I can't figure out if I like it." I said. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion while still smiling.
"Like what?" He asked before looking over himself to see if he could figure it out. I stood to my feet and padded over. He looked up at me and set his knife and stone aside.
Jake immediately set his hand on my thigh when he could reach me. I straddled him and sat on his lap. He pulled me flush against him and wrapped his other arm around my waist. His fingers began to rub circles in the small of my back.
"Babe?" I wrapped my arms loosely around his neck. I began to twirl one of his dreadlocks between my fingers.
"The dreadlocks." I said. He looked taken back. I could feel his tail brushing the skin of my hips and sides.
"My deadlocks? You don't like the dreadlocks?"
"No, well yes. I mean..." I huffed at myself before taking a breath. He waited patiently as I collected my thoughts, rubbing circles in my thigh. "I mean, on Earth I wasn't a big fan of dreadlocks on anyone. I just didn't care for the hairstyle."
"But?" He tilted his head to the side. His adorableness distracted me for a second. I kissed his nose before continuing.
"But for some reason on you...it freaking works? Ugh! I don't understand it." I pouted while looking at his hair. He began to laugh wholeheartedly. "Jake!"
"That's what you're conflicted on?" He set his head on my shoulder. He pressed a few kisses to my skin.
"Yes! On you it's hot! And I can see the appeal of dreadlocks." I whined, swatting his shoulder. *You're mean.*
"Aw baby. I'm sorry" He kissed my head. "But hot you say? Well then." He tightened his grip around me before getting up.
"Jake!" I squealed at his swift movements. My tail wrapped around his thigh as he walked toward the hammock.
"Let's see how hot you think it is.”
Warnings: vague mentions of torture, fighting, language
+ Y/N is a vigilante that is secretly dating with the #2 hero and highly wanted villain. You've been seen helping both men at some point in time. While out on a patrol one night, you get caught by a rogue villain and tortured. Unfortunately for them, the two men are already on his case and are out for blood.
Tumblr media
Y/N's POV
Walking through the city at night would turn most people off but not me. I loved the night. I loved to take night time strolls, go stargazing, and Moonlite picnics. It made sense since my quirk was starlight oriented. There is also a lot of trouble at night. Normally.
"Damn. Nothing tonight." I groaned and layed back on the roof. I checked the time and decided to call it a night. I rolled back into a handstand and set my feet on the ground before scaling down the side of the building.
I never really worried about someone attacking me. I was able to protect myself easily and most people don't mess with me anyway. I shouldn't have let the false sense of security delude me. Out of nowhere, I was grabbed from behind and a rag was placed over my mouth roughly.
"Should have been more vigilant, little girl." Someone growled in my ear. I tried to throw my quirk back but the person grabbed my wrist and wrenched it behind my back.
"Ah!" I yelped and my head started to feel dizzy. I realized the rag was drugged and before I could think of anything to do, I passed out.
When I woke up, I was laying on the ground with my arms bound behind my back. I tried to get the bonds off but they weren't budging. Looking around and I was in a dilapidated warehouse of some sort.
"Oh she's awake boss." A voice said nearby. I quickly sat up and found the person who spoke. They were sitting at a card table playing a card game of some sort.
"Who are you?" I demanded. The two men only laughed. One stood up and came into a better light. My eyes widened when I saw a jagged scar across his neck, disappearing down onto his left shoulder. I knew who this was.
There was a man that always butted heads with Dabi if they met out in the streets. Keigo had some encounters with him too. He was known as Slit and was known for his love for torment and torture.
"Slit. It's not a pleasure to finally meet you." I sneered. He smiled big and walked closer.
"Miss Starlight. It is finally nice to meet you." He spoke in a jagged voice as he squatted in front of me. He roughly grabbed my chin and held my face. "You really are a looker, aren't you?"
"Fuck off!" I snap. He only smiled and roughly let go of my jaw. I stretched my jaw as he moved away. "Why am I here?"
"For fun." He said.
"Who's?" I glared.
"Mostly mine. But..." He turned back towards me. He crossed his arms over his chest and stood in a wide stance. "But you are here for an actual reason."
"And what's the reason?" I asked. The man at the table got up before coming over to grab me. He pulled me off the floor and drug me towards another room. Slit followed behind and I struggled against the other man.
"Dabi pissed me off and Hawks arrested my right hand man."
"And? That's what they're good at. And what do I have to do with that?" I winced as I was shoved down on my knees in front of a water tank.
"You're going to be the one that pays." He snarled with an evil grin. A shiver went down my spine as the two men shared a sinister look.
*Time skip*
I gasped for air as they brought my head up out of the water. Coughing and sputtering as the henchman held a tight grip on my hair. I struggled against the bonds again. I was soaked to the bone and cold. My lungs were screaming from the torture.
"Had enough?" Slit asked, sickeningly sweet. I glared at him and he started cackling. Motioning with his hand, the hackman shoved my head underwater again. I barely got a breath before he held me under. I struggled and tried to kick the guy off but I was growing weaker as the minutes ticked by. He pulled me back up and dropped me to the ground.
"Fuck." I coughed and sputtered. Squeezing my eyes shut as I tried to calm my lungs down. Tears mixed with the water already on my face. A shadow came over me. Glancing out of the corner of my age and saw Slit standing over me.
"You have held up longer than I thought." He knelt next to me. "That just means I get to have more fun."
"Psycho!" I snapped through my panting. He glared at me before grabbing me by the next. Lifting me from the ground, he shoved me against the side of the water tank. "You're in for it."
"Screw you." I spit. He raised his hand to hit me when a voice called out from somewhere.
"Never took you for a coward, Slit." Slit looked around frantically and I immediately found Dabi leaning against a pillar in the shadows. Slit looked at me and followed my line of sight to Dabi.
"Dabi." Slit muttered. Dabi's eyes were nearly glowing in rage. He was leaning against his shoulder with his arms crossed over his chest. "How am I a coward?"
"Going after her when your fight is with me and Hawks. She had nothing to do with this and now you just dug your grave but bringing her into this." Dabi stepped forward.
"Oh, have I? I'd like to see you try. Plus, I'm surprised at you. I never pegged you for someone to care about some girl."
"Well you were wrong. As usual." Dabi lit a fire in his hand. “You don't mess with our girl.”
"Good to know." Slit smirked before reaching down, grabbing my leg and flipping me over into the water tank.
I had no time to get a breath before submerging into the water. I squandered in the water and tried to find my way to the surface. Being so disoriented and my hands still being bound wasn't helping matters. I couldn't help but take a breath and water filled my lungs.
I started to black out when someone grabbed my arm and pulled me from the water. I coughed and hacked up water as I was lifted out of the tank. My bonds were cut and I latched onto whoever was holding me.
"I got you. Birdy. I got you." I heard Keigo whisper into my ear. I whimpered and hid my face in his chest. Keigo flew away from the tank and landed. I felt his wings wrap around me as I started to shiver.
"Keigo..." I coughed a little.
"Sh. It's okay." He patted my back as I coughed up the water caught in my lungs. He pulled his wings back to look me over. In the background we can hear Dabi and Slit fighting.
"Hawks! Lookout!" We heard Dabi yell.
We turned to see Slit jumping at me with a knife. Keigo blocked with his wing and knocked Slit back. He took over the fight as Dabi ran over to me. He threw his coat over me and I could feel the heat radiating off it. Picking me up by my arms from the ground, he led me away from the fight.
Out of nowhere, the henchman jumped out. He was covered in bright red thorns. Dabi shoved me behind him. They charged at each other. Flames flew everywhere and I could see the henchman trying to slash Dabi with the thorns. I could see the moment Dabi had enough and there was a big burst of flames. The henchman screamed and ran of in flames towards the water tank.
"Dabi! Let's get out of here!" Keigo landed next to me, setting a hand on my back. Dabi nodded. I looked past Keigo and saw Slit on the ground but still conscious. Dabi stepped forward and threw a fireball at the rafters and beams, setting the building on fire. "Dabi! Hurry!"
"Coming!" Keigo pulled me out with Dabi right behind us. We ran from the building and down the street. Exhaustion caught up with me and I stumbled before my legs gave up on me.
"Shit, baby." Keigo caught me before I hit the ground. He picked me up. I clutched his jacket while holding onto Dabi's that was still on me.
I spaced out after that before passing out. When I woke up after that, I was in dry clothes and covered in a warm blanket. I could feel someone's chest moving agaisn't my back. I opened my eyes and looked at who it was. Dabi sat there, holding me against his chest while he rested his head against his hand. He looked like he was asleep.
"Fly so high but I need to come down for oxygen." Keigo was singing somewhere in the apartment. I smiled before a pop from a fire I only just now noticed spooked me. I turned to look at the fireplace while Dabi shifted against me.
"You're awake. You had us worried." Dabi muttered.
"Sorry." I set my head back on his chest.
"Don't be." He grunted before looking behind him. "Birdy! She's awake!"
"Oh great. Coming!" He yelled back. We could hear the tinks and clatters of dishes from the kitchen. After a minute, he hurried out with a tray. He was dressed in a plain tshirt, sweats, and fuzzy socks.
"Here, sit up." Dabi said before helping me sit up and pulled me back against his chest. Keigo grabbed a mug off the tray and gave it to me.
"Here, drink." He said before hopping on the couch and curled up with us, slithering under the blanket and pulling my legs over his lap.
"Thank you." I drank from the mug and sighed. The warmth of tea was nice. Keigo rubbed my legs and Dabi buried his face in my hair.
"We're glad you're alright sweetheart. You had us worried." Keigo said.
"More like you had birdbrain panicked." Dabi said with a smile. Keigo rolled his eyes and smacked his head. Dabi glared while I chuckled and took a sip of my tea.
"What happened?"
"It all happened so fast." I started. "I was out like normal and as I made my home, I was grabbed from behind. They drugged me so fast, I couldn't do anything."
"Damn fucker." Dabi muttered.
"How did you two know I was taken?" I look between the two of them.
"You had said that morning that you would be home by midnight that night so when you didn't show, I got worried and called Dabi. When he hadn't heard from you, we both knew you were in trouble."
"It took us over 18 hours to find you." Dabi added. He grabbed my chin and made me look at him. "Don't let it happen again."
"Dabi." Keigo chuckled. Both Keigo and I knew what Dabi meant and that he meant well. He always came across rough but a long time ago, Keigo and I learned how to speak "Dabi".
"I won't." I cuddled into Dabi's side. "I think I'm going to take a break from the vigilante stuff anyway."
"You sure?" Keigo looked at me surprised. He began to rub circles on my leg. Dabi leant his head against mine.
"Yeah." I sighed. "I'm gonna have to rest anyway but..."
"Obviously." Dabi interrupted by muttering. Rolling my eyes, I choose to ignore him.
"But I am just getting tired of the same thing right now. I just want some downtime. Is that alright?"
"Of course." Keigo kissed my head. "We want you to do what makes you happy. Right Dabi?"
"Hmm?" A sleepy reply came.
"Touya!" Keigo exclaimed before punching the opposite shoulder I was laying against.
"What?! Hey!" Dabi jumped before glaring at Keigo. "What is your deal?!"
"You're falling asleep while we're trying to have a conversation!" They began to bicker and I chuckled. I snuggled in between them and drank my tea. The normalcy of their bickering was comforting. Dabi pulled me closer and Keigo laid a wing over our laps. It was cute how attentive and protective they were even if it was absent minded.
"Old married imbeciles." I muttered against the rim of my teacup.
"Hey!" They both yelled at me. I giggled furiously. Keigo pouted and Dabi rolled his too.
"See if we save you again." Dabi snipped with no malice in his voice.
"You'll always come save me Hot Stuff." I teased.
"Shut up." He muttered, turning away with a blush. Keigo laughed and poked more fun at the other male. Ever though he was sulking, I could see a small smile behind Dabi's hand.
"He's smiling!" I said excitedly. Dabi glared at me. "I said what I said."
"I can't with you two." Dabi groaned and let his head drop back. Keigo and I burst out laughing. These two were the light of my life and I was theirs. You don't mess with me unless you want to get in deep shit with my boys.
