"Wait, what?" James's voice rang out over the Library, jolting Remus out of his concentration. He looked up to see James grinning and Sirius looking a bit embarrassed.

"Stop, Prongs, I-"

"You can't whistle?" James finished, chuckling, his voice still loud.

Sirius rolled his eyes and pouted. "It's impossible! Look, I-" and he broke off, puckering his lips together and puffing air between them.

Remus tried hard not to focus on the way his plump lips turned a beautiful shade of red.

James and Sirius were then off on a tangent about the ease of whistling, both pursing their lips and blowing- James making sounds and Sirius not. Remus continued to watch, slowly becoming drawn in by the way Sirius's lips moved.

"Distracted by something?" Regulus whispered in his ear, making him jump.

Remus turned to him, trying to wipe the obviously-smitten look off his face. "Yeah," he grumbled. "Your boyfriend's acting like an idiot."

"Your boyfriend is an idiot."

"He's not my-!" he started to protest, but cut off, taking in Regulus's knowing look. "He's not an idiot," he said instead, turning back to his essay.

But Sirius continued to try to whistle, and Remus did not get much work done.

the best drarry tropes all flourish in the way ron and hermione are written. both of harry’s friends knowing he’s (1) gay and (2) in love with draco before he knows? incredible.

hermione and (especially) ron shipping drarry? absolutely incredible, i eat it up every time.

it also makes sense for harry’s friends to see more of his good qualities than he might see in himself. and them overcoming their distaste of draco because they love harry? that’s beautiful.

"I has the weirdest dream last night," Sirius cheerfully said as they all sat down for breakfast, the smell of bacon wafting through the small kitchen of the 3- bedroom flat they shared.

James looked up curiously, placing his plate next to Regulus as Sirius and Remus sat across from them. "Another one about being chased by giant Chocolate Frogs?"

"Nah," Sirius rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Weirder."

But before James could answer, he felt a hand start to trail up his thigh; thin fingers trace slowly up his leg in a way that made him struggle to stay focused on the conversation.

He snuck a glance over at Regulus, who was looking politely at Sirius, cool as a cucumber. As if he wasn't the one feeling James up mid-conversation under the table. As if they hadn't slept in the same bed together just the night before.

"One of those about going to class naked?" Remus suggested, also looking only mildly interested.

"No. That's cliché," Sirius snorted.

"Then what?" James asked, doing his absolute best to ignore the way the hand started kneading at his upper leg. It was all he could do to stifle a moan.

"I dreamed James and Reggie were dating! Crazy, right?"

The hand froze and everyone in the room stared at Sirius.

It took a minute for anyone to speak.

"Yeah...weird." Regulus said, a smirk clear on his face as he threw James a look.

Remus only chucked as Sirius continued to look oblivious.
