Harry loves animals and that's a well-known fact in the Gryffindor tower, but not in the whole school. Hagrid always gives Harry an animal as a gift, so much so that Harry decided to invest in one of those trunks just like Newt Scamander's briefcase so he could keep his animals there. And Harry has a lot of animals, both magical and muggle.

When in his fourth year Harry meets this third year Ravenclaw named Luna Lovegood and she loves animals as well, so they bond over that and become best friends, well more like chaotic siblings actually. The students are a bit confused why these two bonded so fast like that, well, the Gryffindors know why, but the rest of the school is clueless.

When Draco starts to date Harry, he's pretty aware that Luna is like a sister to Harry, he just doesn't know how they got so close like that. Draco eventually decides to ask and when he does, he's not as surprised as he thought he would be honestly, it just makes sense.

I see so many people complaining about how women in the marauders fandom don’t get as much love and stories and whatnot as the men do and sure that’s SEMI true. but like they also do get representation. i’ve read SOOO many fics of Marylily and Dorlene and the friendships of not just the marauder boys but ALL of them together and i’ve seen Pandora being praised and having her literal own while fic just about her and also raising Harry and Luna, Lily having her own fic of her seven years of hogwarts entirely in her POV and about her struggles and character development, and Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Andromeda being the the chaotic and most dramatic siblings they are. i’ve just seen all these things and then people start saying that they don’t see these things? it feels like they aren’t even looking for them. everyone is just relying on tiktok and tumblr to tell them about the big fics that are popular and good but what about all the small fanfics of the girls? what about all the small authors who aren’t as big and “talented” as others(that’s a lie. any author who has the courage to start and post a wonderful fanfic even if it’s small is so so talented) but still write these amazing stories with such wonderful plots and ideas and characters like what about them??? the people who only post like 3 chapters but it’s the most beautiful three chapters you’ve ever read in you entire life. the people who speak in a different language but are writing in English and they create the most outstanding piece of writing ever even if they accidentally wrote “pieces” as “pisces”. so what??? these fics are wonderful and amazing and i love them all. people just aren’t looking for them and that’s why they aren’t seeing them. they complain but don’t do anything to change it. cmon people be the fucking change for once.

I have a pretty good relationship with both moms but in my preteen years I sort of clashed with my mom Angie. Also- Harry just casually dropping that they’re going to start the battle of Hogwarts on the reader as if it’s old news plsss he’s so funny.

Sirius being the protective cool uncle is making every one of my dreams come true he’s such a dork. The way he threatened his OWN baby brother to look after his adopted kid he’s sooo funny.

Speaking of the baby Black,,,. Regulus!!!!! Literally marry rn !!!!!!! He is so sweet in this chapter. Everything he does makes my heart melt, him providing support to the reader through their story, squabbling with Sirius over who’s the better looking brother, and him cuddling and pouting to the reader about his nickname- he’s the man of my dreams omg

Contessa Zabini is really just the most magnificent woman ever, and I always love having Luna linger around for reader because I fully believe she is the best friend ever !! Reader/Harry interactions are almost always chaotic, and you are absolutely right, they have the most precious sibling bond!! Reader definitely threatened to curb stomp the Dursley's at one point in time (canon bc yes) after Harry opened up about them.

Eleven was born on November 1st to Terry Ives, but she never knew their mother as Dr. Brenner took her upon her birth. Hell, she didn’t even know what day their birthday or who her mother was really until they were 19. It wasn’t stuff they did at the lab. Anything that made them individuals got pushed out so they could be pushed to be the best and then even better than that. The strength of their powers were the only thing allowed to make them different than the others. Special.

With her memories back, El knows more about their time at the lab than they did when she first met the party. She remembers the others like 002 bullying her and them finding a friend in 001 (who she didn’t know was 001 at the time). They remember sending him to the upside down and the change that happened after. How frightened she was on the things they did and now being the only one left, how she was pushed more and more to do whatever Papa wanted them to do.

Finally, though, she escaped. They got out of the lab and upon their first time out, she found comfort from a man named Benny, only for him to be ripped from her quick. Hiding in the woods and trying to find somewhere to go in the darkness and rain, they were found by Mike, Dustin, and Lucas trying to find their friend Will and her life was forever changed.

Hiding at Mike’s house had their experiencing a mix of emotions. They were happy to be free and seemingly in a safe location. They were scared that she would be found and have to go back. And she was worried that she was putting their new friends in danger. All of it deemed to be true as they wanted to go to the lab and they were spotted by Papa’s men and had to run here and there and their using their  powers more and more while she helped locate Will. And to save her friends, they used her power to get rid of the monster ( Demogorgon, Mike called it that ) and ended up in the Upside Down themselves.

Getting out of the Upside Down was easy. There was still a little gate open and the scared Eleven went to Mike’s home only to find the cops were there. It was too dangerous and so they took to the woods and started fighting for survival. That is until Hopper found them and brought her to this old cabin in the woods. Together, they fixed it up and it was nice. However as the days passed, they was getting more and more impatient to let Mike know they were alive. That she was there in the world and she was growing tired and defiant of Hopper constantly trying to make them safe. She understood to a point, but they felt imprisoned again and all she craved was that freedom.

So, one day when he was out, they left the cabin like she wasn’t supposed to do. They saw a woman that pointed her in the direction of where Mike would be and there she saw him talking to a girl ( who was this? did he not care as much as he once did? ). This upset El and they went home to find an upset Hopper. The two fought and she used their powers against him out of anger and cried themselves to sleep while being locked in their room.

The next day when she was cleaning up their mess while Hopper was gone, they ended up finding information on her mama and ended up finding her in their head. They backed a bag and hitchhiked to their mother’s house. However, finding her wasn’t what they expected. Mama wasn’t able to communicate well and she talked with her aunt and discovered bits of what happened before she went to communicate with Mama herself through their powers. Mama showed them in flashes different parts of what happened. She talked to her aunt and talked about the girl she saw there and ended up going and finding Kali. They left her aunts after stealing some money and went out to find her sister.

The time with Kali was different than anything they knew. Her sister, like themselves, had a group she could trust with their powers and she saw they were doing what they thought was right. They ended up learning more about her powers and how to get them to be stronger ( now it reminded her of when 001 did it ) and while they went out to take care of the man that hurt Mama, she felt this wasn’t the life they wanted. She didn’t want to hurt this man and they felt like being with Kali was like being with Papa all over again. So, as the cops entered the scene, she left and went back home.

Going back home, they discovered that things hadn’t been easy there. The Mind Flayer had control of Will and they needed to stop it. She needed to close the gate. So with a short lived reunion with the people she loved and meeting this new girl ( Max, her name is Max ), they left to the lab and worked their powers to the extreme to close the gate and it worked. 

The aftermath was the lab closing for good and she was now officially adopted by Hopper. They waere still in hiding from anyone who would want to get them or their powers, but she had more freedom and she got to see their friends. She got to see Mike. There was a lot of time just spent with them. Talking and laughing. He’d show them music and introduce her to so much. They were happy. Really, really happy.

The summer came and things started changing. Mike was lying to them and she went to Max to talk. They got close quick and after playing a game, they discovered something was going on with Max’s stepbrother, Billy. Trying to figure out what, with the rest of the party, they discovered the Mind Flayer now had him and was adding more to his collection. They tried helping Billy escape, but nothing worked and while the physical form of the Mind Flayer was defeated, lives were still lost (including Hopper) and El was left powerless.

After what felt like funeral upon funeral, El and the Byers, now being under Joyce’s care, moved to California to get away from the tragedies they experienced in Hawkins. El was sad to be leaving Mike and their friends, but part of her looked forward to seeing more of the world. However, things weren’t as great as they seemed. They missed their friends in Hawkins terribly and she had started taking some classes and this woman named Angela bullied them. She started lying in her letters to Mike saying how great California was. This leading up to Mike coming to see her and her still trying to pretend things were okay up until they ran into Angela and she changed all that.

After attacking Angela for her bullying them and embarrassing them in front of Mike, she got arrested and was on her way to a jail when Owens intervened. They instead went to a facility in the Nevada desert and there, discovered Papa was alive. Through multiple tasks and going through old memories that was suppressed and thinking she hurt all the ones like them, she ended up coming out with the truth and with her power back.

As the government tried getting them, she escaped through the use of her powers and in the process, their papa was dead and they were saved by Mike, Will, Jonathan, and Argyle. Telling them, their friends were in danger, they moved to try to get to Hawkins, but they couldn’t get there in time. That’s when they tried intervening to save Max, however, 001 ( they call him Vecna ) took someone else. She was able to still get in there and distract him long enough for their friends to defeat him. However, after going back to Hawkins, she found that it wasn’t soon enough as the town was destroyed.

Moving back to Hawkins was more of a change than they thought. Happy to have Hopper back, the family lived together and eventually, her and Mike decided to break up. For them, it was the need to protect him from all this. While there was peace, she worried every day something was going to happen and she started doing some training on her own to keep her powers strong so she would be ready if anything happened.

Slowly, they noticed things happening. It started with the missing boy that ended up being found and now with this tornado and the bats, El knows something is starting and they’re scared they’re not ready for it.

While they are happy she escaped the lab, some days she regrets it because they feels they have put the lives of everyone she loves so much at risk and that is the last thing they ever wanted to do.

They are working on strengthening their powers every day, sometimes in secret. She wants to be prepared for whatever is coming next and wants to make sure they are at full strength. She’ll spend hours a day focusing on one part of her powers, though its mostly the telekinesis as they have become cautious of her ESP abilities and them possibly opening another gate if she’s not careful.

They’re working slightly to discover who she is and what they like and dislike. She’s open to all new things and wants to try everything at least once ( try before you deny ).

there was an opportunity right there. percy was dating her sister. he would’ve thought they’d share a disgust in that relationship but then again, y/n was mysterious, lonely and a little bit intimidating.

although, she’s been causing a tad bit of mischief around, she’s never actually properly talked to the twins. which was surprising to everyone, they’d thought fred weasley and y/n clearwater would’ve been a great golden couple.

their siblings being the prefects who snogged while doing rounds.

one night, fred was setting up a prank while he let george spend the night sleeping. as per usual, he snuck out of his dorm, avoided filch, whom was roaming the corridors.

he found himself running to the direction of the astronomy tower. he didn’t think, he just ran. not once did it cross his mind y/n would be there. he kind of knew she was there every night but that didn’t matter right now.

he didn’t know how but filch heard some of his footsteps nearby. he ran and ran. he was climbing up the stairs of the astronomy tower.

when he was at the very top, he finally lost filch. he didn’t notice a figure sitting by the edge.

y/n was wrapped in an oversized jumper and her hair was in pigtails. she was quite surprised when someone climbed up here. it was late and no one ever encountered her when she was in her zone.

“uh… hey,” fred panted. he didn’t know who it was. it never registered in his head that y/n came up here until the last minute.

“fred.” she turned around.

“hey”

“you already said that” she silently giggled “you alright?” she remembered he was panting and speaking breathlessly.

“yeah, yeah,” he made a hand gesture signifying he was fine “filch” he pointed his thumb behind him, by the stairs.

“i wonder why” she rolled her eyes, the sarcastic comment rolling off her tongue.

“clearwater, right?”

“is that sarcasm?” she narrowed her eyes.

“kind of yes, and no. i don’t exactly know you personally, and yes, your sister has an awful taste in men”

“awful taste in men is right” she laughed.

they continued to converse for the rest of the night. they both forgot they were rivals that night.

the next morning came and they woke up in their respective dorms. she passed luna lovegood by the common room.

her and luna were very good friends. they were known as the weirdos from ravenclaw. neither did you care.

luna was such a pretty soul. who couldn’t love her?

“hello, y/n.” her feathery voice interrupted her thoughts.

“hey there, luna” she waved back.

they walked each other to the great hall. everyone was bustling around, eating, or conversing. luna left to find harry or neville, she wasn’t exactly sure.

the weasley twins also came over to the ravenclaw table. she didn’t know which one of them it was but one was helping the other talk to a girl.

y/n and one of them (probably fred) shared eye contact and it may be unspoken but they’ll most definitely see each other very soon.

they did in fact see each other that night. it was the second night you spent not being rivals. people also may have noticed she weren’t pulling as much pranks as you were before.

summer came along, right after percy and penelope’s graduation. the weasley’s invited the clearwater sisters even if percy was reluctant if he wanted his girlfriend (and girlfriend’s sister) to meet his chaotic family.

now, penelope and y/n were standing in front of a slightly slanting, talk wooden house in the middle of a field.

the door burst open as a plump redheaded woman emerged from said door. ‘this must be mrs. weasley’ y/n thought.

“hi, dearies,” she pulled the sisters in for a hug “i’m mrs. weasley! please do call me molly.”

“hi, molly. thank you so much for inviting me and my sister to stay here!” penelope exclaimed.

“yes! thank you for inviting us” y/n exclaimed as well, right after penny’s elbow jabbed her in the ribs.

when molly went back in the house, them following not far behind. “that hurt penny” y/n whispered.

“sorry! i just didn’t want her to have a bad impression on us. especially, you. she barely knows you”

“boys! ginny! hermione! our guests are here!”

the sound of multiple footsteps rattling the stairs could be heard from y/n’s position at the door. there was a small sign that said ‘the burrow’, a small living room, a dining table that was connected to the kitchen. the house felt cozy and homey.

after she examined the area, two tall, identical twins, who grew their hair, appeared in front of her “fred,” she nodded to one twin “george.” she nodded to the other.

she figured penelope was somewhere spending time with her boyfriend.

y/n sure was surprised to see the twins with longer hair and longer legs. they still looked good, though.

wait, did she just call the twins attractive?! no way. no. she shook the thought off. molly told her and penny they’ll be staying in ginny’s room with ginny and hermione. she took her bags up their so she could get settled in.

after she did, she was found outside, reading a book by a large tree. she and hermione were there before ginny and ron called her in.

nighttime arrived, the weasleys and their guests ate under the moonlight with fairy lights around their yard. it was a beautiful sight, a happy family, under the stars and moon and galaxy.

she sat in between penny and hermione. she was very comfortable with hermione. they never really conversed before today, they learned they had so much in common from books to favorite subjects.

after eating, all the girls helped molly wipe the tables and clean the dishes while the boys packed up the tables. molly was making them practice muggle cleaning and organizing. it was obvious they didn’t like it.

y/n proposed she help the boys, because she knew a fair amount of muggle knowledge. it was one of her best classes, after all.

fred has been sending her longing looks and winks all day. while degnoming the backyard and playing quidditch with his siblings. he kept looking at her under the shade of the tree.

before she went back in fred approached her and slipped a little piece of paper in her pocket.

‘meet me at the bottom of the abandoned treehouse in the back at 11:30pm’

it’d be like the astronomy tower.

when it struck 11:30pm, y/n made sure all her roommates were fast asleep before slowly tiptoeing out the room and down the stairs. she slipped past a snoring and cuddling molly and arthur weasley in the living room and finally, out to the backyard. she walked over to the abandoned treehouse and waited for a bit until fred emerged from the same door she came through earlier.

“hey” he murmured when he approached where y/n was sitting on a stable step that was supposedly going up to the treehouse.

“hi there”

“what are you up to?”

“you told me to meet you here, you git”

“right, right” the two laughed.

comfortable silence feel upon them. “there was actually something i wanted to tell you”

you faced him, “oh?”

“yeah”

“okay, go on. spit it out, freddie” the nickname just came out naturally from her tongue.

it gave fred butterflies, for some reason. actually, he did know what ‘some reason’ was.

“i- um…” he stammered.

“do i make fred,” she poked his side “nervous?”

“yeah. you do” he grabbed her hand. he looked up at the star-littered sky and the moon.

“what?” she faltered.

“you make me nervous, y/n.” he looked back at her “the thing is, i fancy you. you’re gorgeous, funny, smart, weird and mysterious and i love all of that about you”

y/n smiled. “i fancy you too, fred”

“oh, thank merlin” he chuckled “i had to ask percy and your sister for advice.”

“oh… well, did it work?”

“oh, i didn’t use it. i just went with my gut like i did that first night.”

they laid there, underneath the galaxy. the stars and moon looking down at them, seeing young true love.

Lily Luna Potter:

She’s the youngest Potter kid and totally used that to her advantage

She would say it wasn’t far her brothers got to do stuff she couldn’t so she could too and she played the ‘cute younger sibling’ card as much as she could to get out of trouble

The sorting hat almost put her in Slytherin but didn’t because she is super brave

She pretty much thinks she’s invincible and isn’t afraid of anything

One time her parents caught her trying to jump off the roof and land on her broom and had to stop her

Speaking of flying she is amazing

She is way better then James even if he won’t admit it

She made the team in second year and was way better then him even if he was a sixth year

She plays Chaser but could play any other position if she had to

After school she became a professional quidditch player

She is amazing at transfiguration

Nobody has seen him since the beginning of the fight, no one can find him and they're all very worried. Eventually they do but he was injured because he took a spell for someone. Maybe Luna? (I just like the ones where they protect others-) Warning: Blood and Injury

Arthur and Molly held each other momentarily, Percy had returned to them and so far all their children seem to be unharmed, other than Fred who was almost killed. Fred was being attended by one of the nurses, whilst George fusses over his twin and Percy apologising over and over to Fred. Charlie had yet to arrive, as the mother and father of the big family knew where Ron would be, he was always inseparable from his best friends.

Ginny looked lost as Bill had his attention on Fluer. Ginny, despite not suppose to be in the fight, looking dirty from ash and falling dirt, looked at the band of her brothers before shuffling to her parents.

“Mum, where’s (y/n)?”

It seemed like all the siblings had heard the name as they all stopped, turning heads to Ginny and the parents. Molly stops short as she looks at the boys before her, counting, and missing three sons. Charlie - who could be on his way to help the fight. Ron - who was currently with Harry. And, you - missing. The second youngest son was currently not within their sight.

“Where was the last time you saw (Y/n)?” Arthur asked the boys as they all look sheepishly.

“I haven’t seen him,” Percy says, “I don’t think he’s aware that I’m back.”

Bill and Fleur shared a look before looking at Arthur, “Well, I saw him before the fight started, other than that, we haven’t seen him.”

“He ran past Neville and Sprout,” Fred commented, as he looks at his twin, “What about you, George?”

“Saw him with Luna.”

“Right-” Molly huffed, before looking around the hall before her feet taking her somewhere, she seems like she was following her heart rather her mind.

“Where’s mum going?” Ginny asked, she knew where her mum was going but sometimes it is best to address the unspoken.

“I would assume she is looking for (Y/n),” Arthur answering as he sits down - he can’t help but worry as well - it’s one of his boys.

The siblings silently sat down, exchanging glances. They were all concern with the second son being missing. You were the perfect balance of every sibling. The level headed from Bill, almost the voice of reason, but you got Charlie’s impressive quidditch skills but, unfortunately, have the genius knowledge behind jokes and pranks. You take pride in having Percy’s smarts and the driven motion to excel well in class as well as have Ron’s clumsiness, but Ginny’s spite. 

You were balanced, yet so chaotic all at once. You weren’t one to be forgotten, you were a quick-witted reckless idiot, who would calculate the percentage of how injurious he would get if he was to act on a reckless activity. Ginny sits by her dad and leans her head against his shoulder.

“I hope (Y/n) is okay.”

Ginny would never admit if she had a favourite brother, but if anyone would ask her she would always say you. You might be two years older than her, but you were by her side, unlike Ron. You would be the one to talk quidditch to her, and always cheered her on beating the rest of the siblings, she’s capable of standing up for herself, but you were always there to do so and she appreciates it because it’s so tiring to stand her ground. 

You would actually tutor her in things she doesn’t understand, unlike Percy who was too busy with his nose in a book or Ron being average at his subjects. You were the brother she would go to if she wanted to vent or to cry because you know when to joke about and when to give her solid advice. You were such a happy sibling - she would really take it the hardest if you were dead. 

Molly would not rest easy with the fact that one of her sons might be dead. As she leaves the hall, maybe there are fighters still making their way to the hall to receive aid. There were a few students limping, some just doused in the dirt, but there were other fighters pulling out the dead from the debris and rubble of the school. Molly’s heart was racing, fear was bubbling in her stomach. 

“Mum!” 

Molly turned so quickly that hands had caught her before she toppled over. Her eyes see dirty hands covered in blood, her attention quickly diverts to the face of the person who was holding her. 

“(Y/n)!” She exclaimed, releasing the breathe she had not realised she was holding in. 

Her excitement fades as concern rushes within her, one of her babies is injured. She grabs your upper arms as you wince, one of her hands had landed on something thick and sticky, as she lets go, you let out a breath of relief - her hand covered in blood, suddenly you’ve lost your balance.

“Oh, sweetie - what happened?”

To her surprise, Luna comes under your uninjured arm to allow you to find your balance, the sweet girl smiles politely to your mum.

“It’s my fault really, I should have been more aware of my surroundings.”

“Nonsense, Luna,” You hummed, grinning still, “I knew the risk, it’s not your fault at all.” 

You give your mother a tight smile as she realised that your arm was just a minor injury, but your side seems to be bleeding as well as she helps you to walk as well without you fumbling over your feet. Your family sits anxiously at the entrance door but beaming when they see their mum and brother coming through the door. 

Luna dipping out as Ginny takes over to guide you. 

“Oh thank Merlin,” Arthur exclaims as you groan as they gently sit you down.

“When did Perce get here?” You asked almost immediately, “Glad to see isn’t far up his arse to-”

“Don’t be rude to your brother,” Molly scowls as she gets her wand out to heal as best s she could.

“No, it’s okay,” Percy says, “I think I deserve it, (Y/n) has always been the voice of-”

“Sense.” You and Bill responded

“Intelligence?” Fred and George spoke afterwards. 

“Reason, but sense and intelligence make do too.”

“Well, I don’t think your brother was thinking sense of intelligence when he decided to take a spell for Luna,” Molly lightly scowled, keeping her breathing steady as she could hear you breathe heavily and wincing every now and then.

“You idiot!” Ginny exclaimed.

“Bet you’re a hero to her,” George waves the concern over, looking at you with a suggestive look.

“Trying to woo her, (Y/n)?” Fred teases as you sigh at the twins.

“No-” You answered, giving the twins a glare, “If you would like to know the reason, though I don’t see why it would concern you, Luna remind me of Ginny - and if anything happens to our little sister, those twats has more coming from us than Voldemort himself.”

The family was silent for a moment as Ginny cracks a smile, whilst Arthur chuckles and shakes his head, it’s as almost the tension washes away.

“You’re still an idiot,” Ginny says, but instead there was a light tone to her voice, “You knew were going to live, didn’t you?”

The family looked at you s you smiled charmingly, your eyes glistening, “Of course, I wouldn’t be able to do that to the family.” 

Hogwarts Christmas HC (December 4th)

 Draco Malfoy:

HE LOVES CHRISTMAS 

It’s his favorite thing 

basically when you came into the picture it makes it even better 

He looks forward to either staying in Malfoy manor, going to your place, or staying at Hogwarts for the duration of the break

Basically it’s running around in sweaters and hoodies going nowhere but everywhere all at the same time 

Study dates in the libraries at any house that you’re at and basically over all having the best break possible 

He always showers you with gifts unless you’re uncomfortable with it and then it’s a few very meaningful gifts

HOT CHOCOLATE AND PEPPERMINT PEOPLE

He wants to spend all of the break with you 

Make it known that this is his favorite part of the year end of story 

Luna Lovegood:

Luna finds the magic and beauty in everything 

She makes you appreciate everything so much more in a different light no matter what 

Christmas is not excluded from that 

She’s super here for the decorations but I’m pretty sure that she’d like to make them 

Making weird Christmas/ winter treats 

She loves making things all different festive colours 

Totally have made blankets with each other for one year

You’ll either go to your home or to hers 

Sometimes you’ll split it up

Actually, that’s most of the time 

She really loves seeing your family but also her father 

The both of you watch Christmas movies and read Christmas books but with kind of magical holograms acting out the scenes

He totally takes you home where you get to see the rest of his family that isn’t already at Hogwarts

Molly makes you and Fred matching sweaters 

George and Fred still have matching sweaters but you and Fred will match as Molly sees fit 

His entire family loves you and also any chaotic energy that you might have 

Especially Charlie who loves for his siblings to have adventurous S/O 

Fred wants to take you walking and also just chill wherever and lay around all break 

When it’s time to go back, he’s impossible to wake up and get moving 

He will protest to the end 

You’ll be pulling up to Hogwarts and he’ll still be complaining that the bed might still be warm enough 

Sirius Black:

Man doesn’t really celebrate Christmas that much 

It’s kinda just another thing that happens 

Although that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t like to decorate and stuff 

Oh no, that’s something he’ll do even if you’re there or not 

You both don’t really shop that much for each other and that’s fine 

It’s just not something that really needed to happen and it doesn’t matter if the two of you don’t have fancy Christmas gifts and shit 

Harry might come over for a bit to escape his family

The both of you are also typically staying in with coffee and hot chocolate 

He loves playing music on the record player

Boi just needs a break from his family and you’re that break

You always have him over at your house if he isn’t at the Weasley’s home 

That goes for summer now too 

I mean his family won’t be mad about that 

So anyways you invite him over and he’s totally down 

You’re family is very welcoming considering the fact that they know what it’s like as the alternative 

You don’t shower him with gifts cause he isn’t that person 

Something maybe but not much 

He needs the break from Snape, Draco, his family, and school/ magical conflicts 

You two go on walks together and watch all the things Christmas related that he wasn’t allowed to watch 

He loves Christmas lights and going driving around to see them whenever possible 

It’s always super fun 

Cedric Diggory:

It doesn’t matter where you go you just go

Sometimes it might be a vacation place but either way it’s always fun 

He loves being active and doing things 

If that means ice skating then it’s that 

or skiing 

Sledding 

Anything basically 

He also loves a good helping of food so Christmas and winter treats are in order for the next few weeks 

He’s not a Christmas movie lover but for a few 

So he’ll watch those and really like them but not else 

It’s just not his thing 

He also wants to sleep a lot 

So there’s lots of napping and then staying up all night and sleeping all day

He’ll get you a single nice gift or smt

What is your absolute favourite thing about the Weasley-Potter family household and what do you think was the main thing they were most excited about seeing/doing when they arrive at Hogwarts for the first time, when they were younger?

I love so many things about the Weasley-Potter family and I have no idea where to even start!!

I think the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the Weasley-Potters is: Chaos. They are quite possibly the most chaotic family (even worse than mine) to ever exist, and there's not a time when they're all together that there isn't some form of chaos happening. Whether it's an argument over dinner about who gets the potatoes next, or a scuffle over a lost Quidditch match, whether that be played or watched, or which member of the Holyhead Harpies would absolutely crush James Sirius in an arm wrestle (spoiler: it's all of them!)

Another thing that springs to might with this chaotic family is: love. Despite the chaos and the fights that are often being thrown around (Dominique often comes up with some creative insults), they love each other so dearly. And it shows in everything they do. They cheer so loudly during their sortings, no matter which house they get sorted in, they are there at every Quidditch match, chess tournament or duel that a member of their family partakes in, and help each other study in the lessons in which they struggle. They're a tight knit and loving family, despite what most people see on the outside.

And here is what I think they're most excited about when starting (and bonus Hogwarts houses):

Victoire (Gryffindor): Vic's most excited to see Hogwarts itself, she's heard all the stories growing up of the war, she's even seen pictures, but she's never seen the real thing. Being a part of the first generation born after the war, Vic wants to see the place that made her so important. Not to mention she wants to see the place where her mother fought a dragon, and prayed one day she'll be just as badass.

Louis (Ravenclaw): Much like they're older sister, Louis dreamed of seeing the castle. Truth is, Louis was rather scared to start Hogwarts. Every Weasley, up until Louis, had been sorted into Gryffindor, but Louis was much more preserved and favoured the harmony of books and history and they dreamed of Ravenclaw, being up in the tower (not too far from his cousins) and feeling like he finally belonged.

Freddie(Gryffindor): Freddie's one and only mission when starting Hogwarts was to get up to as much mischief as his dad and uncle with James. He succeeds, ending up with his first detention on day 2 (the Marauders Map didn't quite help him as much as it used to help his Uncle Harry.... or James is just a terrible navigator).

James Sirius(Gryffindor): James wanted to meet McGonagall. He was so excited to get to Hogwarts, it was all he spoke about during the summer (driving his siblings absolutely insane), and get up to mischief, but deep down he truly wanted to meet the woman who had helped his dad through school. His parents often spoke very highly of her.

Dominique(Gryffindor): Dominique was pretty excited about Quidditch and getting to see her first match. She'd seen hundreds of matches, but everyone of them was just as exciting, and she could not wait to see the team she would play for eventually on the pitch. The pitch that countless of her family members had played and won matches.

Albus(Slytherin): Albus was far too nervous to be excited about anything, but if there was one thing, he wanted to sit next to his brother and enjoy the welcoming feast.

Rose(Gryffindor): Making new friends! All Rose really wanted was to go to school with Albus and make new friends, be exactly like her mum and dad. Oh, and make the Quidditch team as soon as possible (if James could do it in his third year, she certainly could).

Molly II(Slytherin): Molly wanted to see the ghosts! Particularly The Bloody Baron (good job she ended up in the right house for that). She'd been fascinated by ghosts her entire life (maybe it was the movie her Uncle George let her watch when she was far too young), but she had always wanted to meet one.

Roxanne(Hufflepuff): Roxanne wanted to meet the House Elves that worked in the kitchens. She often spent time there during her years at Hogwarts helping out, just because she truly wanted to. Her Aunt Hermione helped her knit some hats for them, just like she did back when she was in school.

Lily Luna(Gryffindor): The second Lily Luna was free to her own adventures in the school, she went straight to the greenhouses. She's not great at herbology, or tended to flowers in general, but she loved nature and she loved Neville, so she spent quite a lot of time there. Lily had a bit of trouble making friends in her first year, so she preferred the comfort of plants.

Hugo(Hufflepuff): Hugo was most excited for the train journey to Hogwarts, excited for the sweets trolley and a new adventure ahead of him. Hugo often gets nervous about things where they cannot predict the outcome, but there's a sense of comfort knowing Lily Luna and their sister Rose will be there also.
