*Gregory’s POV*
Another year at Hogwarts and we were sitting around watching the first years get sorted. Malfoy seemed to be a little more interested then normal, but he wouldn’t tell us why. He was looked at the front, almost desperately?
“Why are you interested in the sorting?” Crabbe asked with furrowed brows.
“You’ll see, just shut up!” Malfoy snapped. The two of us looked at each other and shrugged.
“Y/N Malfoy!” Professor McGonagall called and both our eyes widened. We saw a girl with black hair and a white streak walk up and take a seat on the stool. We looked at Malfoy and he just smirked.
“My sister’s been off at boarding school in America for the last few years, but Mother finally convinced Father that she should come home for Hogwarts.” He said and the two of us were confused.
“How did we not know you had a sister?” I asked.
“I just told you she’s been on at boarding school!” He answered while rolling his eyes. We looked back at the front and McGonagall placed the sorting at on her head.
“Slytherin!” It shouted after a few moments. Malfoy cheered along with us other Slytherins. She walked up to our table and Malfoy waved her over. She smiled brightly and hurried over to us. She hugged Malfoy tightly and sat next to him, across from me.
“I’ve missed you Dray!” She said and he smiled at her.
“I missed you too, Bun.” Malfoy said. She looked over at us and smiled.
“Oh, this is Crabbe and Goyle.” Malfoy said, uninterested. She smiled brightly and my heart skipped a beat. She was incredibly attractive, but I shouldn’t be shocked… she’s a bloody Malfoy.
“Do you always call them by last name?” She asked, slightly confused. Malfoy just shrugged, clearly not caring.
“What’s your first names?” She asked and Malfoy rolled his eyes.
“Vincent.” Crabbe answered and nudged me. I snapped out of my stunned state and gave her a smile.
“Uh, Gregory.” I answered and she smiled brighter if you could believe it.
“Well it’s nice to meet you both, I hope my brother isn’t always so rude.” She said and Malfoy rolled his eyes and gently shoved her.
“I’m not rude.” He sneered and she giggled.
“You’re only not rude to our family.” She said and he once again rolled his eyes.
“Whatever…” He mumbled. She giggled again and it was like angels singing in my ears. She was perfect…
Throughout the year Y/N had made and effort to be friends with Crabbe and me. She was so unlike her older brother, she was kind to pretty much everyone, she was always willing to help someone in need, and she was extremely beautiful. I was falling for her hard, but I knew there was no way I could get anywhere near her the way I wanted to. Malfoy would literally kill me. Crabbe knew about my crush on her and was telling me to just tell her. I told him he was mad if he thinks Malfoy would let his little sister date me out of all people.
“Seriously mate, you think Malfoy would kill you?” He asked as we sat on the couch and I rolled my eyes.
“Yes! You’ve seen how protective he is over her!” I said, annoyed that we were talking about this again.
“Yeah, but he trusts us around her.” He said.
“Because what are we going to do to her? He knows that he intimidates us.” I answered and Crabbe shrugged.
“Well that should mean you’d be a great boyfriend to her.” He said.
“Whatever, just stop talking about it!” I groaned.
“Stop talking about what?” I froze at the sound of her voice and Crabbe smirked.
“Goyle was just talking about how he needs help with the Astronomy assignment.” He said and she smiled.
“I’d be more than happy to help you if you want.” She offered and I gave her a smile.
“Uh, sure if you don’t mind.” I answered, scratching the back of my neck.
“Perfect, would you like to meet me in the library in an hour? I have to meet up with Dray for a bit.” She asked and I nodded.
“Um… Y-Yeah, sure.” I answered and she smiled.
“Great! I’ll meet you in an hour!” She said and skipped off to find her brother. Crabbe smirked at me and I rolled my eyes at him.
“You two will be alone! You guys are gonna have a little study date!” He said and I covered his mouth.
“Shut it will you! The second Malfoy finds out we’ll be alone he’s going to jinx me into next century!” I hissed at him. He pushed me off him and just smiled.
“Just tell her how you feel today! I’m sick of you drooling over her.” He said and I rolled my eyes.
“I don’t drool over her…” I mumbled.
An hour later I found myself walking to the library, something I almost never do. Y/N would drag me and Crabbe here sometimes when she wanted us to study. It was cute how much she cared about our education. She was crazy smart, just as smart as Granger. Which is why Dumbledore let her skip first year and take classes with us second years. I walked into the library and saw Y/N sitting at one of the tables, surrounded by books. I sat next to her and she looked up with a smile.
“Gregory! You made it!” She said and hugged me slightly. I blushed and nodded.
“Uh, yeah, I wouldn’t miss getting your help.” I said and her eyes brightened.
“Great, well let’s get to work!” She said and I pulled out my books.
Y/N was great when it came to anything academics, but Astronomy was her favorite. She always got more enthusiastic when she talked about anything to do with space. Stars were her favorite to talk about, but really anything to do with the class she’d get excited about it. It was so cute watching the twinkle in her eyes get brighter, or her little rambling when she got lost in her thoughts. I could listen to her ramble about anything forever though. She was talking about some planets that we were going over in class and I rested my head on my hand, just staring at her. I wasn’t entirely paying attention, but she was so cute.
“Gregory! Are you even listening?” She asked, waving her hand in front of my face.
“Huh? Oh, sorry.” I blushed and she just smiled.
“Maybe we should take a little break.” She said and closed the book she was looking at.
“Oh, we don’t have to.” I said and she shook her head.
“It’s fine, we’ve been going for an hour now.” She said and my eyes widened slightly.
“Really?” I asked and she giggled.
“Yeah, how long have you been zoned out?” She asked and I blushed.
“I don’t know…” I answered and she giggled again.
“What were you thinking about?” She asked and my blushed deepened, which she noticed.
“Ooo you’re blushing! Now you have to tell me!” She said, gently poking me.
“I-It’s nothing…” I stuttered.
“Liar! Come on Gregory, you can tell me.” She said and I sighed. Maybe Crabbe is right…
“Um… well…” I started and looked away from her.
“I was thinking about you and how cute you are…” I whispered. When she didn’t say anything I looked up worried, but she was just smiling.
“I think you’re pretty cute too.” She said with a light blush dusting her cheeks.
“R-Really?” I asked with wide eyes and she giggled. She nodded and blushed slightly deeper.
“I’ve been hoping you’d like me back…” She said quietly and my head was spinning.
“I-I do.” I said, still stunned by the fact that she likes me. She bit her lip slightly and looked at mine. I gulped and took a deep breath. I leaned in and she followed my lead. Our lips met and it felt perfect! Her lips molded with mind and I pulled her in a little closer. When we pulled away she had a huge smile, that I’m sure mirrored mine.
“Wow…” She whispered and I nodded silently agreeing with her.
“Y/N, I really like you and I was wondering if maybe you’d like to go on a date?” I asked and she smiled.
“I’d love to! But first we should finish studying.” She said and I sighed.
“Do we have to?” I asked and she giggled.
“Yes we do, and maybe if you get the questions right I’ll reward you with a kiss for each right answer.” She said, which definitely peaked my interest.
“I think that’s a good deal.” I said and she giggled again.

mistletoe or mistlefoe- theodore nott x reader
p: theodore nott x fem!slytherin!reader s: after seeing her best friend pine after a certain slytherin boy, pansy decided she would take matters into her own hands w: fluffy, slight drinking mention a/n: i know its not the holidays anymore but i wanted to write for theo soo oh well
Theodore and (Y/N) were returning from the kitchens, with food piled in their hands.
Pansy had thought it would be a great idea to have a small party for the start of the break, seeing as most of her friends were staying at Hogwarts during this time.
While she and Daphne were commanding the boys to get the common room more festive for the holidays, she sent her best friend and Theodore to ask the house elves for food for the get together.
Pansy knew of (Y/N)'s crush on the quiet Slytherin boy, so what better way to bring the two together than having them run an errand by themselves?
When Pansy told the two their job, (Y/N) saw the smug look on her face, knowing what she was trying to do. Little did she know, that was not the only trick up Pansy's sleeve.
The walk back to the common room was quiet, the sound of their footsteps filling the halls.
Until Theodore broke the silence.
"How come you stayed?"
"My father had matters to attend at the ministry and my mother is visiting family in France," (Y/N) replied. "What about you?"
"I didn't want to deal with my father right now."
(Y/N) just nodded. She knew how harsh Theodore's father is towards him, especially since his mother passed away.
"Well, at least you have us," (Y/N) said to him.
"Yeah. But unfortunately I have to deal with Mattheo's snoring," the boy said, smiling a bit.
"Really," (Y/N) asks, chuckling a bit.
Theodore nodded. "Threatened to use the silencing charm on him."
At that point, they made it to the entrance of the common room. Theodore uttered the password, letting the two of them enter.
Pansy was the first to notice the twos arrival, smirking a little.
"Welcome back you two, got what we need?"
"We did," (Y/N) assured her.
"Good, now we can get started."
The group began grabbing from the pile of food that (Y/N) and Theodore brought. Everyone was enjoying it. But of course, Pansy was trying to figure out how to set something in motion.
Mattheo tapped on the girl's shoulder, bringing her out of her thoughts before whispering in her ear. Pansy started grinning before taking the bottle that was in his hands.
"Alright everyone! I want to play a game with you guys!" Pansy called out to them. "Come sit in a circle!"
"Now what dumb game are we going to be playing this time?" Draco grumbled as he sat down next to Blaise.
The dark haired Slytherin rolled her eyes at the boy. "Well I was thinking we play spin the bottle."
"The muggle game?" Questioned Crabbe.
Mattheo nodded. "I say we should add a bit of a twist. You and the person you get have two options. Either kiss or fight to see who can pin the other to the ground first."
"Mistletoe or mistlefoe," said Enzo, laughing at his own joke.
"Yep."
(Y/N) rolled her eyes at Enzo's words. "Let's get started then before I have to hear Enzo crack another dumb joke."
"Hey!"
Mattheo started, landing on Theodore. The two looked at each other with a smirk on their faces.
"Oh this is gonna be fun," Mattheo said before jumping on Theodore.
The game went on, Theodore gave a kiss on the cheek to Blaise, Blaise fighting Goyle, Goyle attempting to kiss Pansy, Pansy kissing Draco, Draco fighting Crabbe, Crabbe fighting Enzo, Enzo kissing Daphne, Daphne kissing (Y/N).
Then it was (Y/N)'s turn.
She spun the bottle. Everyone watched it spin. (Y/N) was anxious, but she wasn't the only one. Pansy was too. The bottle began slowing down, appearing as though it were to stop on Crabbe. Mattheo noticed the panicked look on Pansy, discreetly pulling out his wand and making it stop on Theodore, who sat two people away from Crabbe.
"Well, its Theo, so you guys have to kiss."
(Y/N) looked at Mattheo quizzically. "Wait but don't I choose if I want kiss or fight him?"
"Nope. There's mistletoe." Mattheo said while using his wand to place mistletoe above Theodore's head.
(Y/N) felt her face burning. Was she going to kiss Theodore? Or would she avoid that by fighting him? Either way, she would probably embarrass herself. She looked towards Pansy to see what she would tell her.
The dark haired girl was looking right at her, mouthing her to just do it.
(Y/N) got up towards Theodore, the boy staring at her with his blue eyes. She crouched down in front of him, eyes flicking between his eyes and lips. A million things were going through her head. But there was a voice telling her what she should do.
She kissed him.
She kissed her crush.
And he was kissing her back?
She felt a hand on her cheek, pulling her in, deepening the kiss. The cheers from the gang were drowned out by her focus on Theodore.
The two had departed, taking time looking at each other's eyes.
"I like you Theo."
The boy smiled. "I like you too (Y/N)."
"Fucking finally!"
The two turned to Mattheo, Pansy standing next to him. Both having smug looks on their faces.
"Been waiting for you to admit it since forever," Pansy laughs.
"Same with Theo," Mattheo chuckles.
A cough fills the room.
"Well I'm happy for Theo and (Y/N)," Draco began. "But we still got a party going on."
"Firewhiskey for everyone!" Enzo shouted while passing the drink to everyone.
(Y/N) stood by Theodore, who's arm was wrapped around her.
She lifted her drink towards him. "Cheers Theo."
Theodore did the same. "Cheers. To the holidays and to us."

The pale fingers of the Slytherin carefully-but skillfully- chopped the ingredients for the Potion, trying to cut out the conversation of Potter and Weasley. They were clearly trying to keep their voices down but failing to do so due to Draco’s hearing abilities.
It was at that moment he wished he was temporarily deaf, so that he didn’t have to hear the bickering of Potter and wanna-be-Weasley.
“Haha! Look at Seamus, Malfoy.” Crabbe said, his big face scrunching up as his fat finger pointed to the clumsy boy across the room. Draco spared a glance, seeing the boy with a black face, looking into his potion helplessly as the explosion just occurred. Malfoy rolled his eyes, shooting Crabbe a glare before looking back to his task at hand.
But, when he glanced at his hand, he saw little flowers forming, the ink moist as whoever was drawing it was doing it in real time. Petal after petal appeared, forming a decent picture. He grumbled, grabbing the towel Seamus used to wipe his face and aggressively rubbed the skin, terribly smearing the ink on the back of his hand, the flowers mushing together, making it not look so decent anymore.
He flung the towel on the table beside him, and picked up the knife he placed down, going back to his previous actions.
“What now, Malfoy?” Goyle asked. Draco snarled.
“Stupid soulmate drawing on their skin again. Seriously, they can’t draw on a piece of parchment?” He complained, his chops becoming more harsh on the cutting board.
Goyle shrugged. “Unless they’re bored in class. What is it anyway? Little reminders?”
“No, course not! In fact, I’d rather it be that instead of rubbish drawings of dumb flowers! Look at that rubbish,” Draco started, repeating the word he said earlier with a bitter taste growing in his mouth. He showed the two boys what was left of the flowers on his hand. “Honestly, how ugly.”
The two boys agreed, but they had hints of smiles on their faces.
Draco noticed and barked. “What’s so funny, boys?”
The smiles dropped instantly on Goyle’s face but Crabbe still had a teasing glint in his eyes.
“Nothing, just that your soulmate draws on her skin.”
Draco squinted. “And what’s so funny about that? Enlighten me, I’d rather laugh than roll my eyes.”
Goyle shrugged. “Just that she must be doing it in purpose. Ya know, for you to see?”
Draco thought about it for a moment, ignoring the new lines forming on his hand.
“Why would I want to see this?” Draco wondered, irritation brewing inside him. “Especially on my hand, I don’t need it there, it’s annoying really.”
“You know how girls are. She’s desperate, man.” Crabbe jumped in, entering the conversation once he found out Draco wasn’t as upset as he thought.
Draco scoffed. “You know what, you’re right, Crabbe. She’s desperate for me. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s annoying and I don’t want it there.”
Draco then finally looked down at his hand, and this time he saw an eye with shading, the smooth strokes of eyelashes now forming on his skin. Once she was done, Draco saw more stokes forming above the eye, and, wondering what it is, leaned forward to see what she was drawing. It turned out to be an eyebrow, but the way the lines were drawn helped Draco see the direction the hairs were going in, adding detail to the drawing he didn’t know was needed.
He gripped the towel between his finger tips of his other hand, but he felt some sort of guilt eating at his chest for rubbing away such work. But he didn’t want to be walking around with silly eyes and eyebrows on his hand, so with unwanted shame brewing in his chest he rubbed the fabric on the back of his hand, the once was ink smearing, covering his skin in black.
Tumblr media
The girl frowned deeply as she watched once more the drawings she made were harshly rubbed away. The ink from her quill was a black blob now once the person was satisfied enough. Satisfied that the pictures were gone.
Her heart sank in her stomach for an unknown reason.
Well, she knew the reason, she just didn’t want to admit to herself that what her soulmate was doing was effecting her in this way.
She shouldn’t be surprised that he rubbed them off; I mean, who wants to walk around the corridors with silly drawings on the back of their hand? She didn’t have a problem with it, but he clearly did.
After the last moment of Lupin’s lecture faded away with the bell she grumbly got up and out her things away, making her way to the bathroom to rub the ink off. (Despite the nonexistent problem with walking around with drawings on herself, she did have a problem with walking around with a big ink smear in their place.)
She bent over the sink, her bag discarded at her feet as she rubbed the skin, forming red marks in their wake. The ink slowly ran down the drain, her heart going down with it.
She wished her soulmate accepted her actions on showing she was there, existing, live and breathing, to assure them that someone out there wanted them. But was he just embarrassed? Did he not want her as much as she thought he did? Did he have an annoyance towards the whole soulmate concept?
She sure hoped not, because her want to show her love was strong, yet the want to receive it was even stronger.
She wanted someone to love.
That loved her right back.
Did he even want that?
Tumblr media
“Any drawings today, Malfoy?” Crabbe asked, a soft chuckle escaping his big mouth. Draco snarled at the boy beside him, also glaring at Goyle who was making interesting-meaning quite disgusting- noises while he was eating the feast the house elves provided.
The boy who received the glare quickly composed himself, swallowing the large amount of whatever it was down his throat, a loud gulping sound heard around the table.
Draco glared again.
Finally he turned to the other boy who addressed him earlier and replied reluctantly.
“No. Thank goodness. I’ve been sick and tired of constantly having to distress my skin; honestly, the embarrassment of walking around with a red tomato colored hand.”
Crabbe agreed with a hum, in the middle of chewing. Draco definitely noticed him paying extra attention to the noises he was making, so he didn’t annoy Draco any further.
“Never mind that,” Draco said, pulling through Daily Prophet out of his robes, long pale fingers flipping the pages until he got to the one he wanted.
“Father’s in the paper, as always.” He said proudly, showing the two boys the picture of his father. “Oh! And look!” He added, chuckling madly as he pointed to the same article, the name ‘Arthur Weasley’ printed as it told a story about him.
“Ridiculous, honestly.” Malfoy muttered, shoving the paper to Goyle across the table since he was (according to Draco) taking too long to read it.
“Ugh, Care of Magical Creatures today.” Draco complained, looking at his schedule. “That silly Hagrid, honestly, I swear I’m going to die each time I attend his classes.”
Goyle swallowed again. “Seriously, how many times does he have to bring in a deadly creature that might chop my head off-”
Well I would certainly enjoy that.” Draco snapped. Goyle’s cheeks turned pink.
“God this place has gone to the dogs.” Draco muttered, stuffing his schedule in his pocket, taking one last gulp of pumpkin juice, and storming out of the Hall, and without question, the two boys followed him.
Tumblr media
“‘Ello! Please step dis way,” Hagrid said, large hands clapping together. Draco scoffed but reluctantly followed the orders.
“Taken’ care of- well more of lookin’ at interestin’ creatures today; take a step back now.” He warned. (Malfoy gladly stepped back)
The crates ended up being full of slimy creatures Draco ended up forgetting the name of, too busy trying to keep his fingers attacked to his hands. “Gross, Goyle you do it.” He said, handing the boy the food and watched as his friend gave the creature its supper, hands shaking nervously.
Draco looked around as Goyle did the work, folding his arms as he watched with amusement as the Gryffindors struggled to feed the animals.
He then spotted another Slytherin working alone, the back of her head the only thing visible when it came to her features near her face.
Two small braids were on either side of her head, easily blending with her hair but he could see the twisted strands in the sunlight much easier.
She turned so he saw her profile, and, from what he could see, her eyes were bright but hesitant, a look of disgust on her lips as she fed the creature. As soon as all the food was gone, she instantly dropped the tool she was using to handle the food and grabbed a rag, wiping her hands off even though she didn’t touch it or the animal.
It was then Draco saw it. The small detail on her left hand, as so his.
A patch of distressed skin was there, in the same exact shape as Draco’s. He found himself looking at his own hand, then at hers, and back at his once again to double check.
They matched.
They matched.
Which means only one thing.
The girl that he’s never seen before, which was white surprising since he often told himself that he knew all the Slytherins, was his soulmate.
What was more surprising though was something much weirder and stranger. And that something was this:
The realization didn’t bother him one bit.

It’s always colder in Slytherin
Draco Malfoy x fem!slyth reader
WC: I don’t know man it’s not that long just read it
Tumblr media
1am was feeling like an agony.
I once proclaimed that Slytherin Common room was way colder than the other ones and my classmates declared that it was nonsense, that the whole castle may have been somehow enchanted to be a warm place for people to stay, that it would be unfair if anyone were to deal with cold because they were sorted in an specific house.
It may be that I’m way more prominent to feel cold (which I’m not) or that my classmates are too proud to recognize that our house may have at least one drawback in comparison to the rest, but I’m pretty sure that winter nights in Gryffindor common room are way warmer than here.
It may be because we are in the dungeons, or because we are under the lake. In any case, I don’t think there is any magical architecture protecting us from unfairness. So tonight is snowing outside, and I feel cold as shit.
Even though, cold was not being my primal issue. I would not have laved anything like an agony over something as simple as that. My main problem was the fact that I was not being able to sleep even after two hours of trying.
I already thought about my day, I already thought about my classes, I even imagined fake scenarios between some teachers just to have fun in my own head for a while to see if I was able to get tired. I thought about people in my school, I thought about my friends and how the girl group of them were so pleasantly sleeping by my sides. I thought about everyone, or at least everyone, cause there was certainly a person I did not feel the urge to think about.
It’s been a few rough months, mentally rough I mean. I have always been pretty close to the boys in my house, Zabini was cool and a good gossip partner, Theodore was funny when he was not trying to win my heart over those jokes, Crabbe and Goyle were… Well, those are definitely not my favorite, but I managed to ignore their braindead comments and sounding ways to chew.
But there was also Draco Malfoy, and oh if I have been ignoring thinking about Draco Malfoy.
The thing is, we are certainly… tense.
We have always been friends, I would even dare to say that he has always been the closest one of them for me. Grew up together as our parents are pretty much close and became thick as thieves while growing up.
In our first years at Hogwarts our friendship became a little less personal as we were now surrounded by not only new friends but many other people in general. Draco became a little bit annoying towards me, or a little bit annoying in general. He was restless and sarcastic, not to mention mean sometimes, although there were few the times in which he had really crossed a line and we always ended up talking it through, so I just ended up assuming that my best friend was just a little bit of an asshole sometimes, I ignored him whenever he was not in the mood and ended the conversation there. He was still my best friend and I was not the one to fix anyone’s behavior, I was not his mother.
Well, it would have end well if that were the end of the story, problem is that our friendship took kind of a turn a few months ago when something happened. I do not want to get pretty specific so I just prefer to say that a few drinks, a joint and a pretty blonde rich boy could make anyone feel dizzy about certain feelings or attractions on a summer night.
So, for the time going, we just stood in a place of being completely awkward towards each other sometimes, or extremely close some other times.
Reality is that I always feel push towards him, like a force begin me to go and hug him, to hold his hand while he’s walking by my side, to touch his face or lay my head on his shoulder. I could never deny (and believe me I tried) my attraction towards Draco Malfoy.
But that’s also the most uncomfortable thing that has happened to me.
Draco is not the kind of person you look up to date, not if you have known him your whole life and you could end up losing your closest friend over a predictable break up. He was a brat, pretty much selfish and I would dare to say a little but mean, plus, things were already tense enough.
But like I said before: 1am was feeling like an agony. And Slytherin common room was colder than the rest of them.
“Oh fuck it” I muttered and took away my blankets.
Walking at night in my nightgown was not the best idea ever, I felt like I was about to freeze but there would only be a few steps, I only had to cross the common room and then ahead to the other side of it.
I walked bare feet through it, saw that the chimney had a temptative fire and ignored it, just to keep walking towards my destination.
Once I reached the door, I knocked as hard as I could trying not to make much sound.
“Come on… Come on, I’m freezing”
I knocked again, this time a little bit harder. And it worked, cause suddenly a pale, angry face was looking at me just by the other side of the door.
As soon as he took recognition that it was me, his face relaxed and turned into a confused expression, he still looked a little bit annoyed, but not in a way that would made me feel like he’s about to snap some stupid comment.
“Y/N?” He asked. “What you doing here? Aren’t you cold?”
“Can I sleep with you?” I snapped at once. His prefect room completely empty at his back looking as tempting as hot chocolate. He looked at me for a second and I suddenly realized that it may have been a better idea in my mind than it was in reality. “I mean… It’s actually pretty cold and I don’t know, you are comfortable to cuddle at night, for some weird reason. No other intention included… and you see our common room is actually colder than the rest because…”
“Of course you can sleep with me” He interrupted at once. As I looked up again he was smiling. God, if he was not the prettiest boy this castle has ever seen.
I smiled back and he opened the door for me.
“Come on, hurry, I’m freezing”
As I entered the room he was already heading to get under the blankets, I followed him in a rush and lay beside him.
As I got under the blankets myself, he was quick to cuddle me, passing his arm from over my waist and getting close to me.
“God you are so cold” He mentioned while staring to pass his hand up and down my arm to give me some warm.
“Did I wake you?” I asked, now that I thought about it.
“What do you think?”
“Sorry” I muttered. He passed his other arm under my neck and hugged me completely.
I lay there in silence, feeling like I had the best idea of my life cause now my eyelids were finally feeling a little heavier and I was for once relaxed.
I was about to fall completely to my dreams when Draco suddenly said “Our common room is not colder than the rest, it would make no sense”
I sighed “It would actually make too much sense” I started “You see, we are in the dungeons so…”
“Y/N” He cut me. “Just go to sleep” I was not facing him, but I could have bet my life that he was at least smiling a little.
“You just woke me”
Draco kissed my shoulder from behind. The action took me completely by surprise and my heart made a little jump at the touch of his lips on my skin.
“You deserved it”

Her - Mattheo Riddle x fem!reader x Theo nott
Reader is in gryffindor
Summary: Mattheo has a crush but so does Theo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y/n entered the great hall with Hermione they were both too tired to even function as they sat down with Hermione next to Harry and Y/n next to Ron. Y/n leaned her head on Ron’s shoulder and huffed. Ron looked at his friends and raised an eyebrow
“What’s wrong with you two?” Harry questioned watching his friend's strange behaviour
“We stayed up all night” Hermione huffed drinking her coffee y/n tried to do the same but was too tired to get it
“Ronnn can you pass my coffee pls” her eyes fighting to stay open the red-haired boy laughed before handing it to her
“Do you want me to feed it to you as well” y/n chuckled at his words before bringing the warm coffee to her lips almost immediately waking up from the bitter taste
“Eww, no cream or sugar?” She struggled to swallow it as she put her preferred items into her coffee
“Knew it would wake you up” Ron bumped his shoulder into her making her chuckle
“It worked” Hermione says smiling and looking around the great hall which wasn’t so packed for a Saturday
“Ooh y/n” Hermione sang y/n lifted her head off of Ron’s shoulder to look up at her companion
“You have two boys behind me staring at you” Y/n eyebrows scrunched in confusion all four of them looking behind Hermione to see Mattheo and Theo looking at her smiling softly. Y/n gave a soft smile to the boys before returning back to her coffee
“What do they want?” Ron huffed a hint of jealousy and protectiveness in his voice
“I’ll go see” y/n stood up from her seat and made her way over to the Slytherin table Ron quickly grabbed her arm
“Don’t worry I’m just over there I won’t be long” y/n laughed and continued to walk feeling her friend's protective gaze on her at all times
“Hey boys” Draco moved up for y/n to sit smiling at the girl
“Ah our favourite Gryffindor to what do we owe the pleasure” Draco's arm went over your shoulder as you spoke to your friends
“Just wanted to see how my friends are doing on this fine Saturday morning is that a crime?” Y/n cocked her to the side making Blaise and Lorenzo laugh
“You and Granger looked like zombies coming in” Lorenzo said causing y/n to gasp
“How dare you Enzo. I’ll make a hot zombie tho” the girl giggle.
“I thought Mattheo and Theo were trying to get my attention I kept meeting their sights” y/n leaned into Mattheo who went red all of a sudden
“Oh sorry no I was just zoning out” Mattheo lied not meeting your gaze you hummed peeking at Theo
“And you?”
“Yeah same I keep daydreaming” Theo’s cheeks turned red as he looked at his plate
“Anyway we are heading to Hogsmeade if you wanted to join us I already asked them and told them to behave. I expect the same from you boys” the boys nodded their heads
“Ok we will be by the fountain in the courtyard in like an hour” She bid her goodbyes and went off to her table
“Took you long enough” Ron huffed picking at his food
“They're my friends too Ron. Plus they are coming with us to Hogsmeade and promised to behave” Y/n heard Ron grumble shoving food into his mouth.
What y/n didn’t hear when got to her table was the boys conversation
“What’s gotten into you two?” Draco questioned his friends behaviour
“Yeah why you acting weird whenever she comes around?” Blaise cocked an eyebrow smirking at his two friends Lorenzo hummed in agreement
“How can you three not. She’s so attractive and I literally fumble on my words when I talk to her” Theo confessed still staring at her
“We hide it unlike you two idiots,” Draco remarked Blaise chuckled from behind his goblet.
“You guys talking about y/n?” Goyle declared making Draco roll his eyes
“Cause Merlin’s beard she’s hot” Goyle peered over Blaise's shoulder to see her
“Ok Goyle keep dreaming” Draco hissed
The four of you waited by the fountain In the courtyard for the boys.
“I can’t believe you invited them” Ron huffed
“Oh Ron grow up honestly I know you guys don’t like them but their my friends too and I just want you guys to get along for a few hours please” y/n snapped facing the boy who looked blankly at her
“Fine” the Weasley was defeated
“Hey, pretty lady!” A voice shouted y/n turned to face the group of boys coming their way
“Hey!”
The walk to Hogsmeade was quiet. Harry, Ron and Hermione walked ahead whilst you strolled a few steps behind them.
After a few hours of wandering around you all ended up in the three broomsticks with butter beers of course
“Y/n can I talk to you” Theo shyly spoke as he got up
“Yeah of course” You followed him to a seat away from the others
“What’s up, Theo?” A soft smile was on y/n face
“I just. Um. You look really nice today. I mean not that you don’t look nice all the time” The boy went pink and his hands fumbled. Y/n chuckled taking the boy's hands
“It’s ok thank you Theo I appreciate it. Was that all?” Y/n heard the boy gulp he brought her hands to his face
“Ok. Y/n you are the most selfless, most generous, kindest and most beautiful person I have ever met and I don’t want to make this weird if you reject me but if you would like maybe we can go on a date?” Y/n can feel the boys heart rate
“Oh Theo your too kind. I accept your offer” y/n stroked the new bruise on his face
“This wasn’t there this morning what happened?” Worry coated her face
“It’s nothing don’t worry, Merlin’s beard you don’t know how relieved I am” he placed a kiss on the inside of her wrist
“Look for my owl” The two of you were interrupted
“Y/n will you do me the honour of going on a date with me?” Mattheo sat next to her wishing he wasn’t too late. A new cut on his nose caused skepticism
“Mattheo. Theo just invited me on a date-
“Ok well, how about you go on a first date with both of us and you can decide?” Theo was getting annoyed
“Mate what are you doing,?” Blaise said now taking his seat
“Merlin’s beard what is going on.” Y/n sigqhed
“Have you two been fighting over me.?” Y/n said strictly looking at the two
“He started it” Theo said looking in Mattheos way
“He knew that I liked you since first year. I felt like he was doing it on purpose” y/n pinched the bridge of her nose
“If I do your way Mattheo. You both need to stop fighting do you understand? Your supposed to be friends not fighting over a girl” y/n huffed standing
“Decide between yourselves who’s going first then send me an owl with the details. I’m going to go back to the castle” Hermione, Harry, Ron, And you left.

hiiii! I’d really like a Draco Malfoy x fem!slytherin!reader where they used to be BEST friends and started to date, but then ended up breaking up on bad terms (due to some angsty miscommunication). so it’s basically like best friends to exes to lovers but in the end it’s super fluffy and Draco’s a little simp even tho that’s lowkey ooc
'friendships end' - draco malfoy
masterlist
Tumblr media
It’s been a long time since you’ve heard from Draco Malfoy, which is unusual. Typically, he likes to make his presence known. Yet it’s been many months since his owl sent word of his exploits, or the last time he sought you out in the Slytherin common room to explain at length the latest novelties to come his way. You used to love that, you know– the trust, the confidence in you to hear him out– but now you love the silence more, or so you tell yourself. Then again, you suppose the emptiness is your fault. After all, you’re the one who broke up with him.
You hadn’t wanted to, of course. Not really. In the heat of yet another argument, you’d convinced yourself that a breakup would be good, but in the time since then, you’ve only been spiraling into memories of what had been yours before you took it all away. You had been happier with Draco, hadn’t you? Now all you can do is second-guess yourself and wonder if you had been wrong to end the one brilliant thing that had belonged to you and no one else.
It had been inevitable that you and Draco would start dating. That’s what your other friends of Slytherin House had said, at least, when the news broke. It seemed like the entirety of Hogwarts had known within a few hours of your first date together. Gossip spreads like wildfire in a school like this, and as it turns out, more than a few of your fellow students had been expecting you two to get together for quite some time.
At first, it had seemed like yet another victory in your pocket. Draco loved you and you loved him. The two of you were the talk of the town. Stealing Draco’s heart might have been the best hat-trick you’d ever pulled off, and he might say the same thing about you. You traded scarves and stole his jackets, bought each other roses and studied side by side in the common room every night, borrowing glances when you were sure the other wasn’t looking. Every move felt like a miracle– look at this person, who loves only me. Somehow, I managed to make them fall in love with me, despite all odds and all other people, and now they’ll be mine forever.
Only– forever isn’t a true thing, not in the wizarding world, and certainly not in fast-paced Slytherin. Every day, there are new battles to be fought, more prizes to be won, and victories that can be won by one person and one person only. You and Draco stopped competing together and started fighting against each other to secure the top places. Instead of being happy for each other when you got high exam scores, it felt like more nails in your coffin. Wouldn’t he grow tired of you if you couldn’t get your grades up? And he went to bed afraid, lay up all night wondering, wouldn’t you move on if Draco couldn’t win more Quidditch games?
Regardless if the two of you actually depended that much on each other’s academic and personal successes for your love to flourish, it certainly felt that way. The other Slytherin students, which at first had welcomed your relationship with open arms, turned against you, whispering to each other like snakes whenever you passed them in the corridors. Nowhere felt safe except by each other’s side, and then not even that. You swore Draco was mocking you to Crabbe and Goyle. He thought you were bad-mouthing him to Pansy and Astoria.
And then, after weeks of rumors and indecision, it all came to a fiery head. You accused each other of not actually caring about each other and lying about what you’d done and worse things, too. When the voices were raised and the words got bad, you pulled for the last weapon you had up your sleeve and announced that you wanted to break up with him. You were assuming that Draco would recognize the move for what it was, a last-ditch attempt for him to realize that you were on fragile ground, but instead his eyes just flashed and he agreed that separation would be best for you two.
All of a sudden, it was over. Years in the making, only months in the having. The two of you have never been able to do anything but escalate a situation– grades, love, and this, now– so of course Draco would never back down from a fight. One of you always had to be better. One of you always had to have the last laugh. And now you’re both alone, forever on opposite sides of a classroom or common room, staring daggers at each other’s backs because it’s the only glimpse you’ll ever be able to catch of the person who had once sworn to love you forever.
It’s terrible because not only have you lost your love, you’ve lost your friend. You and Draco were the best of friends before you started dating, it’s why you felt confident enough to risk your heart on a Malfoy. You knew he would never hurt you because he never has, and then he did. Sitting with the broken fragments of your heart in your hands, your first instinct was to go to Draco about this, and then the truth slowly sunk in that you couldn’t, that you never could trust him with your honesty again. Draco knew every part of you, broken and bare, good and bad and ugly, and he ended things anyway. If Draco Malfoy can break your heart, then where is the proof that love could ever exist anywhere again?
Friendships end. Friendships always end. You know this to be true. Either by sudden death or slow drifting, best friends never stay that way forever. You’ll have irreconcilable differences that lead to jaded arguments, or time will intervene and you’ll stop seeing each other around, then stop making attempts to care. You’ve chosen the first end, it seems, but since when would anything with you and Draco end with a lackluster indifference? You would either pledge yourselves to each other forever or go out with enough chill to ice you both out for good. There was no world in which you could go quietly.
Perhaps this is true, perhaps it was meant to be all along that two people so ambitious and excitable as you two could never end with anything but terror, but Merlin, if you don’t hate it now. You straggle from class to class, hardly able to convince yourself to put in the effort to care about what you’re learning. You’ll lock in long enough to study for exams, and turn in halfway decent papers, of course, but your heart isn’t in it anymore.
And how could it? You have no heart. It’s gone, lost to you forever in the annex of a corridor a few turns away from the Slytherin common room, where Draco stalked away from you, unaware or perhaps not caring about the blood he tracks wherever he goes. He ripped your heart in two and washed his hands of the agony. You wish you could do the same, but every new day just reminds you of how much you wish you were with him.
Still, you move on, or you try to, at least. Draco clearly has. He hardly spares a word for you, not even a gloating reminder that he’s got the upper hand since he isn’t wallowing in self-pity on a day-to-day basis. He’s simply busy all of the time, too busy for you. You’re not so busy that you don’t notice it, and certainly not busy enough that it wouldn’t hurt.
Yes, you miss Draco, but who wouldn’t? What a time in your life. There are some people in life that you simply won’t be able to forget, and you have a feeling that Draco Malfoy is one of them. As much as you would love to push him into the past and lock him up with all the other dusty relics of times long since gone, he refuses to be barricaded with the rest of your childhood playthings and old friends.
He’s always been too ambitious for his own good, hasn’t he? And so have you. It’s what drew the two of you together in the first place, and it’s what drew you apart. You try to use that same strength to push yourself onwards and upwards, and it works for a time, but never completely. You can throw yourself back into your studies and spend your free time laughing with friends, but there will always come a time at the end of the day in which you have nothing to occupy your heedless minutes, when the gloomy thoughts come creeping back in again and you wonder– just why did you have to let him go, really?
Not even the strictest schedule in the world can free you of regret, it seems. You feel like you’re being torn apart at all seams even as you attempt to force yourself back together again. Your nerves are flighty, your senses on constant high alert, and you can’t seem to stop your eyes from scanning the room whenever someone exits or enters, just in case Draco might come in, just in case he might see you as anything but your best. You have to prove that you’re doing better than him, but you’re not sure if you can convince him of that when you can hardly convince yourself.
Days go by, blending into weeks, and then two months have come and gone and you’re no better off than you were at the start. Things with Draco are still painful, like testing a wound just to watch the stitches come undone. Every interaction with him is terrible. You run into each other in the corridors and he practically flinches with an effort to look away again. You both raise your hands to answer the same question in class and you almost sprain a muscle in your effort to quickly pull your arm down again. You and Draco approach the entrance to the common room at the same time and have to stand there, side by side, pretending you don’t notice each other at all.
It’s an awful sort of hell, having to feign indifference to the one person who used to be able to read you like a book. Maybe he still can, maybe not even time and separation can heal Draco of that great gift, or maybe he just doesn’t care enough to attempt to read between your lines anymore. Maybe he’s not faking apathy with you. Maybe he truly just doesn’t care.
Despite your tendency to think that way, your friends seem to have none of it. They keep telling you that he stares when he thinks you’re not looking, that every time some boy asks for your help on a problem in class, Draco snaps a quill or otherwise looks like he’s going to burst a blood vessel from failing to keep himself in check.
You don’t have the heart to believe them. Your friends will tell you whatever they think is right to get you to smile again. You know you’ve been ruining the mood whenever you complain about Draco, but you’ve been trying to work on that, too. You’ve been trying to work on a lot. It doesn’t always go the way you plan it.
Still, when they talk like that, you can’t help but secretly listen along. You catch Draco looking one time, then again. The second time, he doesn’t look away, but keeps holding your gaze like an oath, a promise. He used to smile whenever he caught your eye in class, but this time, his gaze is more serious. It feels like life and death, and it’s only just the two of you happening to look the same way at the same time.
Everything feels charged. You cross paths and the entire corridor seems to crackle with energy. You know how this feels, you remember it from the first time around, so at this point, it isn’t a question of if you’ll make another mistake but when.
When, as it turns out, is about a week later. You’re walking back from the library, late one night when a problem set got the better of you. After finishing the work at long last, all you want to do is go back to the Slytherin common room so you can go to sleep. Halfway back, though, you run into Draco, obviously coming from a similar situation given the ink stains on his writing hand.
Usually, this is the part where one of you doubles back or otherwise hides from the other, but instead Draco looks at you, and says, “Walk with me?”
You agree before you know what you’re doing. At first, your footsteps echo in the silent halls, and then you gather up the courage to speak again. “It’s been a while since I saw you.”
Draco scoffs. “That’s ridiculous. I saw you in class this morning.”
You give him a dour look. “You know what I mean. I don’t think you’ve spoken to me on purpose since–”
Since the fight, that is. Since both of you walked out on each other. Draco looks away for a moment, and when he speaks again, the syllables are terse and clipped. “I didn’t think you wanted to talk. After all, you were the one who ended things.”
You sigh. “I didn’t want to, though. It was a stupid thing to say and we were both angry at each other. We’d had arguments before, I thought we’d talk it over in a day or two and then be fine.”
“And then we weren’t,” Draco supplies.
“And then we weren’t,” you repeat listlessly. A moment later, you can’t help but add on somewhat desperately, “Where did we go wrong, Draco? What happened to us?”
Draco’s gaze is bleak and painful. “I don’t know. I’ve tried thinking it over loads of times. I thought you liked me.”
“I did,” you insist. Then, quieter: “I do.”
He risks a quick glance your way. “Still?”
You don’t dare look at him outright. He’s always been an expert at calling your bluff, anyway. You reckon he doesn’t need to hold your gaze to know when you’re telling the truth. “Always. I never thought you’d leave me, Draco. I didn’t know what to do without you. I tried to move on, but I couldn’t.”
“Neither could I,” he reveals. “Every time I saw some bloke flirting with you, I wanted to hex him. Worst part was, I couldn’t admit to being angry because I wasn’t supposed to be jealous.”
“You were jealous over someone asking me for help on the homework?” You ask, a quiet laugh rising to your lips.
“They weren’t just interested in the homework,” Draco insists, although his irritation starts to fade when you laugh outright.
“Alright, then. Let’s say you did have something to be jealous about. Would that mean that you– that you wanted–”
“It means that I want you, Y/N,” Draco says, quickly stepping in front of you so you’re forced to stop walking and look directly at him. “I want you back. I want us back. What do you say?”
He’s close, so close. He hasn’t been this close since an empty room and a furious argument. This time, though, you’re not unhappy. Far from it.
“I say yes,” you tell him, and the words have hardly left your lips before he leans forward and kisses you.
You’ve had many victories over your time at Hogwarts. You’ve aced exams, you’ve done well in competitions, you’ve won the boy you loved, twice. This kiss feels like the best of them all.

Get Him Back | D.M
Pairing: Slytherin Fem Reader X Ex-Draco Malfoy X Theodore Nott
WC: 4k+
Warnings/Notes: Bullying, mild language, heartbreak, angst…
Summary: In which, you and Draco ended on a bad note and you’ve decided to seek out revenge…but unexpectedly you fall in love.
Authors Notes: Honestly, not my best piece… :/ I know I could’ve done better, but I kinda just went with it on this. Theodore was unplanned lol
Tumblr media
One, two, three
Wait, is the song with the drums?
“Draco, I understand that Miss. Y/n Riddle is quite pretty, but I would like for you to pay attention to my lesson.” Professor McGonagall says.
The class laughs and you refuse to turn around to give Draco that attention after everything you had been through with him. Pansy smiles sadly at you, seeing exactly how much this hurt you.
You knew Draco from around Hogwarts, but you both had gotten together over the summer after getting closer once your families came to know each other. Everything was perfect in the beginning, but it all came crashing down eventually.
Draco is quite good at hiding his true colors, especially at the beginning of a relationship. You learned that he hid those true colors for so long in hopes it would be harder for you to leave…that you would learn to deal with it like it was normal.
You’ve told Pansy that somewhere in his delusional mind that he must’ve forgotten you're a Riddle and you don’t put up with anyones bullshit. You don’t tolerate anyone's disrespect though…maybe a bad trait you picked up from your father, but it’s okay.
Draco was a sweet guy, but then it turned out he had a big ego and he was a narcissistic liar. He was the most fun guy you knew and he had weird friends like Crabbe and Goyle. They were funny too. He used his name and money to get you both into the coolest parties, nights that you felt like would never end.
But, then he started to show more of his true colors. He learned when he began to say things wrong or his lies somehow got twisted back on himself, that he could just take you to a place you dreamed of or to buy you a “sentimental” gift. You found yourself missing him on nights you felt really sad or alone, but your feelings for him were up and down. You knew you wanted to get him back for what he did to you. You want him to hurt the way he hurt you.
I met a guy in the summer and I left him in the spring
He argued with me about everything
He had an ego and a temper and a wandering eye
He said he’s six-foot-two, and I’m like, “Dude, nice try”
But he was so much fun and he had such weird friends
And he would take us out to parties and the night would never end
Another song, another club, another bar, another dance
And when he said something wrong, he’d just fly me to France
So I miss him some nights when I’m feeling depressed
‘Til I remember every time he made a pass on my friend
Do I love him? Do I hate him? I guess it’s up and down
If I had to choose, I would say right now
Pansy was dressed as an angel for the Halloween party and you were dressed as a devil. You wore a tight black mini-dress, and Pansy wore a tight white mini-dress. She had angel wings and a halo while you had devil horns and a tail. She wore white heels while you wore black. You stood in the corner with Tom, Mattheo, Theodore, Enzo and Blaise as you watched Pansy go get you both drinks.
She was on her way back when Draco approached her. You watch his flirty smile as he trails his hand up her arm to her face. You watch as that flirty smile dropped and his face twisted to one of pain as he crouched down to grab himself. You smirk as Pansy strides to you and hands you a green solo cup.
“Can you believe him? He just tried to make a pass on me? After the shit he did to you, he thought he had a chance with your bestie? He truly is a delusional fuck.” She snorts.
“He did that a lot when we were dating. He always had a wandering eye…I just thought I was being over-sensitive or something.” You say, glancing over at Draco who was now sulking at the bar.
“Hey, don’t let that dumb fuck make you sad. He is nothing to you.” She says sternly.
You smile, unconvinced as you down the drink in your cup. Mattheo and Tom watch with frowns, knowing very well you weren’t over Draco. They looked at each other before making their way over to the bar. You and Pansy moved out to the dance floor, dancing as Enzo and Theodore kept watch over you both.
You both stopped dancing like everyone else as you heard a commotion. You follow the shouting and see your brothers beating the fuck out of Draco. You push through the crowd, trying to diffuse the fight when Theodore wraps an arm around your waist.
“He deserves it fiore, just let it go.” He murmurs in your ear.
“But, if we don’t break this up…Tom and Mattheo could potentially get caught. If Snape hears this, he will be so mad. If they get in trouble and our dad finds out…they’ll get in so much trouble.” You say.
“Trust me, they won’t get in trouble. Your father has requested this to happen.” He murmurs.
You were at a loss for words as Mattheo and Tom stepped back, leaving Draco on the floor. He barely lifts his head, his eyes locking with yours before Mattheo throws another punch at his face, cursing him for even daring to look at you. You struggle against Theodore, but you manage to reach forward and put a hand on Mattheo’s shoulder.
“Matty, please.” You plead.
“This fucker deserves this and more for everything he did to you.” He snaps.
You flinch, not use to that tone from Mattheo. Growing up with the father you had, you three were always together. Granted, you three had a strange bond for being triplets, but your brothers had shown you a side they never showed anyone. Mattheo tensed as Tom sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose as he glares at Mattheo.
You take your hand off his shoulder, pulling away from Theodore before storming through the crowd before hearing a random girl laugh about you being sensitive. You turn, throwing a punch at her nose, hearing the satisfying crack as she falls backwards, unconscious.
You turn, continuing your trek to your dorm where you slam the door, locking it before lying on your bed. You grab the jumper that was Draco’s. You had stolen it from him, it was his favorite. You throw it in the fireplace, watching it burn with a sick satisfaction growing in the pit of your stomach.
I wanna get him back
I wanna make him really jealous, wanna make him feel bad
Oh, I wanna get him back
‘Cause then again, I really miss him, and it makes me real sad
Oh, I want sweet revenge
And I want him again
I want to get him back, back, back
“You can’t ignore me forever.” Mattheo sighs as he follows you to the Great Hall.
“She can, and she probably will.” Tom says, following as well, his hands stuffed into his pockets.
“She is ignoring you too dipshit.” He snaps.
Draco walks up to you, glancing at your brothers fearfully and you tilt your head at him, a small smirk on your face.
“Y/n/n, can we talk?” He asks.
“No.” You say.
“I want…I want to apologize…I messed up, royally and I just…I really miss you.” He says.
“Hey, fiore.” Theodore says, coming up beside you.
He wraps an arm around your waist, leaning down to kiss your head. You look up at him and smile. He smiled back, your brothers gaping at you both from behind you guys.
“You’ve…moved on with the guy I was worried about you cheating on me with?” He asks in disbelief.
“Malfoy…if I were you, I’d get out of my fucking face. If you truly knew Y/n, you would know you wouldn’t have to worry about her cheating. When she gives you the chance to love her as she does you, you take that fucking chance and hold onto it fucking tight.” Theodore says, splaying a hand on your back and stomach as he angles himself between you and Draco.
Draco scoffs, looking you over once before storming out of the Great Hall. You look up at Theodore and smile.
“Couldn’t have had better timing.” You say and he grins.
“Oh, I know.” He says.
“Um, excuse me. When the fuck did this happen?” Mattheo asks, stepping between you two, Theodore’s hands leaving you.
“We are fake dating in order to get Draco back. I wanted revenge and I decided to hit him where it hurts.” You explain.
“Fake dating…right.” He murmurs, looking at Theodore.
“Come on, fiore.” Theodore says, walking you to the table.
“Awww, I broke my streak of ignoring them.” You grumble.
“I think you ignored them long enough, fiore. They’ve apologized more than I’ve witnessed them fight…and they fight a lot.” He says, chuckling as your brothers take a seat at the table.
“So, what are the rules for this…fake dating?” Mattheo asks.
“No falling in love.” You say, picking at your plate of food.
“Like that ever works.” Mattheo mumbles, Tom the only one able to hear him.
Theodore wraps his arm around your waist, looking over at you for a moment. You glance down the table to see Draco glaring at Theodore. You felt a tinge of pride before you felt guilty for the fake-dating thing with Theodore. You knew he always had feelings for you, but you hoped that he’d get over it. But, by how easily he agreed to this plan of yours…you were pretty sure there were some underlying feelings there still.
So I write him all these letters and I throw them in the trash
‘Cause I miss the way he kisses me and the way he made me laugh
Yeah, I pour my little heart out, but as I’m hitting “Send”
I picture all the faces of my disappointed friends
Because everyone knew all of the shit that he’d do
He said I was the only girl but that just wasn’t the truth
And when I told him how he hurt me, he’d tell me I was trippin’
But I am my father’s daughter, so maybe I could fix him
“Theodore, are you ready?” You groan impatiently.
“Almost, fiore.” He calls from the bathroom.
You walk over to the mirror in his dorm, smoothing out the skin-tight dark green dress. You fix your hair, before looking yourself over in the mirror once more. You nod just as Theodore walks out. You look over to see him dressed in black dress pants, a white button up shirt that wasn’t buttoned all the way. Some of his sculpted chest was on show. His hair was a fluffy mess as usual.
“You look beautiful, fiore.” He murmurs.
Your cheeks flush red, smiling shyly at him as you nod. He chuckles, one that went straight to your core. You guys walk out and decide to immediately go to dance. As you're dancing, his eyes flicker over your shoulder as they harden.
He pulls you closer to him, his hand wandering down your ass and grabbing it roughly. You gasp, looking up at him to see him look down at you. He leans down and kisses you, one that is deep and passionate. Your hands get lost in his hair and you realize that somewhere along the way, you broke the number one rule: don't fall in love.
Somewhere along the way, you fell for his tender love and care. Not to mention how sweet and gentle he was with you. He treated you as if you were royalty and it was sweet. You found yourself loving the way he laughs and the way he grabs your ass. You pull back, only to pull him back into a kiss.
“I think I broke our rule.” You whisper against his lips.
“You didn’t say anything about already being in love, so I technically didn’t break it. I just hoped that maybe you’d realized how much you mean to me.” He murmurs.
“I’m sorry, Theo…I should’ve realized sooner.” You admit quietly.
“Don’t apologize. I have you now and that is all that matters. However, I know you've been wanting to get Malfoy back and I don’t blame you.” He says, swaying with you to the sensual song.
“No, no, enough of this getting Malfoy back. Malfoy had his chance. Yes, he fucked up…but I can’t keep letting that hold me back. I’ve been sulking over a relationship that didn’t work out for obvious reasons and all along…I should’ve been with the person who was standing right in front of me.” You mumble.
“We’ll get him back together. But, as an official girlfriend and boyfriend duo. Maybe next time he’ll think before breaking a good girl's heart.” He murmurs.
“Nott, I get that you both are confessing your love right now, but please get your hand off my sister's ass.” Mattheo calls.
Theodore chuckles, looking down at you, squeezing your ass once more before moving his hand back to your hip. Your cheeks flush red as you shake your head in amusement.
I wanna get him back
I wanna make him really jealous, wanna make him feel bad
Oh, I wanna get him back
‘Cause then again, I really miss him, and it makes me real sad
Oh, I want sweet revenge
And I want him again
I want to get him back (and then? And then)
I want to get him back, back, back
You were in detention with Theodore, Mattheo, Tom and Draco. Mattheo and Tom got to sit together while you and Theodore got to sit together. Draco was sulking in the front of the room. You and Theodore were cuddled up together, whispering and laughing quietly.
“Okay, I get it. You are all happy, but will tone it the fuck down.” Draco seethes.
“Malfoy, I get it. You are throwing yourself a pity party because you let the best girl in this world slip through your fingers. But, that was your fucking fault. Just because you're pissed doesn’t mean you can take away her happiness. I’ll beat the fuck out of you before letting that happen again.” Theodore warns.
“I’ll help.” Mattheo chirps, grinning at Draco.
“So will I…I’m sure you remember that my methods are a bit more practical…like my fathers.” Tom says, looking at Draco unamused.
“Whatever.” Draco mumbles.
“Let’s get out of here. I have an idea.” You whisper to Theodore.
“Bet.” He murmurs.
You both were quick to leave, laughing quietly as you both snuck back to the Common Room. You grab his hand, dragging him along to the boys dormitories.
“Fiore, where are we going?” Theodore murmurs confused as you both passed his dorm.
“I figured out a way to get Malfoy back. We do it and get back to detention before Snape notices.” You murmur, excitement dancing across your features.
“Take it away, fiore.” He murmurs.
You continue to lead Theodore down the hall until you reach Draco’s dorm. You use a spell, unlocking his door before you both slip in. You see his broom in the corner of the room and grin. You pull the key to your dorm out before you start to completely ruin his broom. Theodore was quietly laughing from where he stood as you continued your handiwork. You stand, the both of you giggling as you both hurry back to detention.
“Where did you lovebirds sneak off to?” Mattheo asks.
“I got hungry.” You say simply.
“And I follow her wherever she goes. I’m simply only allowed a chains length away. She’s got me on a tight leash.” Theodore teases.
“Oh shush, I do not.” You say, your cheeks flushing red.
“Mhm, right.” He teases with his perfect small smile.
I wanna key his car (I want to get him back)
I wanna make him lunch (but then I, I want to get him back)
I wanna break his heart (but then I, I want to get him back)
And be the one to stitch it up (but then I, I want to get him back)
Wanna kiss his face (but then I, I want to get him back)
With an uppercut (but then I, I want to get him back)
I wanna meet his mom (but then I, I want to get him back)
Just to tell her her son sucks (but then I, I want to get him back)
“Who did it?” Draco demands, storming into the Common Room with his destroyed broom.
You look over, fighting the smirk that wanted to appear on your face. Your handiwork looked quite brilliant if you say so for yourself. So, this is what sweet revenge feels like? Theodore continues to rub your legs that were draped across his lap.
“Was it you?” He asks, storming towards you.
Theodore jumps up, standing in front of you as your brothers flank Theodore’s side. You stand up, only for Theodore to push you back on the couch. With one warning look from him, your ass was planted on the couch.
“You don’t get to come in here demanding stuff, Malfoy. Especially from my girl. If you ever come at her like that again, you’ll be in for a rude awakening.” Theodore warns.
“She has literally been striving to ruin my life because she can’t handle a summer fling.” He snaps.
“No, she hasn’t strived to do anything you idiot. You know it wasn’t a summer fling. It was a relationship that you messed up.” Mattheo snaps.
You push past Theodore, ignoring his stern scolding. You look Draco dead in the eye, before taking another step forward.
“If I’ve wanted to ruin your life, trust me, it would be in shambles by now. I’m far more capable and far more cruel than my brothers and father. There is a reason our mother isn’t named and trust me, I’m far too much like her.” You warn.
“Just admit it! This was you! My father will kill me if he finds out my new broom is ruined! You should know better than anyone!” He snaps.
“You're scared of your father? You're scared of what he might do? Well clearly you haven’t met my father.” You laugh coldly, shaking your head.
“Y/n…just admit it. Please.” He pleads.
“Admit to something that I had no hand in? I think you forget that you’ve got far too many enemies on your plate. Keep it up and I will give you something to worry about.” You murmur quietly, so only he could hear you.
He shakes his head, turning and leaving. You turn and look up at Theodore who was looking down at you with a stern look.
“Oh, come on. I handled that very well.” You sigh.
“Maybe. Maybe not. You should’ve stayed behind me and let us handle it. God knows what Malfoy would be willing to do to you.” He says, a frown evident on his face.
“But, I can handle my own problems.” You mumble.
“I know, but I’m here to help you.” He sighs, running a hand over his face.
You plop onto the couch, ignoring him as you felt both guilty and upset. You wanted to let him be happy with helping you, but you also wanted to be able to defend yourself. Theodore sighs, lifting your legs as he sits down next you, putting your legs on his lap.
“I know you can take care of yourself, but I want to be able to protect you. That summer…I could tell how much you loved and cared for Malfoy and he couldn’t even reciprocate that and he strived off hurting you. It hurt me to see you hurting…to see you with him when I wanted to be with you. I wanted to take care of you and to protect you…I wanted to show you what love could really be.” He says.
“I understand that, Theo…I do, but you can’t shield me from the world. There are some battles that are mine to fight. But, I’m not saying I don’t need you there with me. You’re my rock.” You explain.
Oh, I wanna key his car (I want to get him back)
I wanna make him lunch
I wanna break his heart (but then I, I want to get him back)
Stitch it right back up
I wanna kiss his face (I want to get him back)
With an uppercut
I wanna meet his mom (but then I, I want to get him back)
And tell her her son sucks, yeah
“Alright, are we done with this Malfoy revenge thing? Because as far as I know…you’ve made him jealous of you and Theodore…fake dating that led to real dating…ruining his broom…what else?” Mattheo murmurs.
“And there!” You exclaim as his pumpkin juice ends up all over his face and the front of his shirt.
“Is that it?” He asks, raising an eyebrow at you.
You shrug, unsure. You felt like there was one more thing you needed to do to ensure your revenge. You knew it wasn’t the brightest thing to keep doing this to Draco. Some would view that you had done enough. But, you weren’t so sure. Draco hurt you in ways you didn’t think was possible. You always thought of yourself as stronger than that.
“Draco has been talking about you.” Pansy says, taking a seat across from you after pushing Mattheo down the bench.
“Rude.” He grumbles.
“Oh, what has he been saying?” You ask curiously.
“That he misses you…that he feels bad…he might’ve said something about Theo, but I’m not sure if it’s true or not.” She says.
“What did he say about Theo?” You ask.
“That he’s been seeing other girls behind your back.” She mumbles.
“No, no, that’s not true. Theo wouldn’t ever do that.” You say, shaking your head.
“He has a track record.” Pansy mumbles.
You stay quiet, looking down at Draco before grabbing your bag and pulling out a truth potion. You pour it into your cup of pumpkin juice before switching yours and Theodore’s cups.
“Should I be concerned that you just have those on you?” Tom asks.
“It’s for good reason.” You mutter, tucking your bag away as Theodore walks in.
He sits, taking a drink of his pumpkin juice before looking around the table confused as they were all glancing at each other.
“So…my father has asked me to question you…in order for us to protect Y/n/n from getting hurt anymore.” Tom says.
“Ask away.” Theodore says.
“Are you being true to my sister?” He asks.
“Yes.” He murmurs.
“Is Y/n the only girl or do you have other side pieces?” He asks.
“Y/n is the only girl.” He says, his hand grabbing yours under the table.
“Do you love her?” He asks.
“Yes.” He says.
“What are your intentions with her?” He asks.
“To love her…to protect her… to cherish her and give her the world. I want to shield her from anymore hurt. Trust me, I never want to see her hurting again.” He says.
I wanna get him back
I wanna make him really jealous, wanna make him feel bad
Oh, I wanna get him back
‘Cause then again I really miss him, and it makes me real sad
Oh, I want sweet revenege
And I want him again
I want to get him back (and then? And then)
I want to get him back, back, back, back
“My lord, I-I’m sorry.” Draco stutters.
You were being held by Theodore. He had an arm around your waist, keeping you pulled back against him. He had a hand over your mouth so that your father wouldn’t be angry with you for trying to protect Draco. Despite everything Draco did to you, you knew even this was too far.
“You hurt my daughter. Do you know how much she means to me? She means the world to me and no one is allowed to hurt her.” Voldemort snarls.
Except you, you think.
“I’m s-sorry my lord! I’m so sorry! Please, please, I’ll do anything! Just make this stop, my lord! Please!” He pleads.
“You’ll be daunted with extra tasks and knowing that if you don’t finish them, the death of your father and mother before your eyes will be your fault before I kill you myself. Stay away from Y/n or I’ll ruin you myself, Malfoy.” He warns.
He let Draco up who left quickly, not sparing a glance back. Theodore uncovered your mouth before your father could see. He wipes the stray tear off your cheek right before your father turned to you.
“He’ll stay away from you now, princess.” Voldemort murmurs, stepping forward and cupping your cheek.
“T-Thank you father.” You whisper.
“Of course. Now go on.” He murmurs.
I’ll get him, I’ll get him, I’ll get him, I’ll get him back
Get him back, come on, come on
I’m gonna get him so good, he won’t even know what hit him
He’s gonna love me and hate me at the same time
Get him back, girl, you better get him back
I don’t know I got him good, I got him really good

Your friendship with Draco was something no one had expected to come about. Outside of Quidditch and his two lackeys, Crabbe and Goyle, Draco tended to keep to himself in his latest years at Hogwarts. So when the two of you began getting close, everyone was surprised. Especially because you didn't have a lot of friends either. People tended to either ignore you or bully you. Something Draco was not too fond of. In fact, it made him angry; a feeling that only grew as Draco found himself falling in love with you.
Draco became your defender even when you weren't around. He would not stand for anyone putting you down or treating you poorly. You could take care of yourself for certain. You didn’t need Draco’s help, but he’d be damned if he’d lose the one thing that made life bearable for him. He would defend you to the ends of the Earth if he had to.
That was how it came to pass that you found him in the courtyard fighting with some other Slytherin, his face and knuckles bloodied. You put an end to the fight quickly before escorting Draco from the courtyard before a teacher could arrive and give everyone involved detention.
“What were you thinking, you idiot?” you asked when the two of you were alone. There was no malice in your words. Draco downed the Wiggenweld Potion you handed him as you began to clean the blood from his hands. “They were mocking you,” he finally replied. You glanced up from what you were doing with an arched brow. “And? They always mock me, Draco. This is nothing new.”
“Well, I don’t like it. I wanted it to stop, so I made it happen.” You let out a soft sigh and returned to your work. “Draco, I can look after myself.” He shook his head. The young Slytherin had never really been good with words, but you really weren’t understanding what he was trying to say. “You shouldn’t have to and you never will again. I…care for you too much to let it keep happening.”
That made you pause and look up at him again. You stared into his grey eyes for what felt like forever. Not that Draco minded. He liked looking at you. “Draco, I care for you too, you dunderhead. That’s why you can’t keep doing this kind of thing.” Draco rolled his eyes. Still not getting it.
You reached up to begin cleaning the blood from Draco’s face, but he gently grasped your hand to stop you. This time, you actually stopped moving and focused on him. Draco brought your hand to his lips, softly laying a kiss to the palm as his eyes closed. You inhaled sharply. “Draco…” He hummed in response.
“When you said you care for me, you didn’t mean as a friend, did you?” Draco’s eyes opened to see your adorably confused expression. “I didn’t.” You opened and closed your mouth a half dozen times, like you couldn’t figure out how to react. Every emotion seemed to cross your face in a matter of seconds.
Finally, you settled for pressing a kiss to his forehead. Draco frowned slightly when you pulled away. “I love you too, Draco,” you whispered. Draco smiled and moved to kiss you on the lips, but you backed away. “Nuh-uh. No lip kisses for you until you’re not bloodied.” Draco chuckled, but agreed. He continued watching you with eyes full of adoration as you finished cleaning him up.
(a/n: I hope you like it!)

Tumblr media
you knew it was a bad idea joining Dumbledore army after Harry had asked. But after all, Hermione was your best friend, to Draco’s dismay and you were the go between being a Slytherin you had access to the plans of the Inquisitorial Squad unfortunately led by your boyfriend Draco.
You felt awful lying to him but you were also angry at him for trying to destroy Harry and his friends, the DA to be specific which he was yet to find out that you were apart of. However it all fell apart for you very quickly when you were discovered by Crabbe and Goyle practicing defence spells with Parvati. They escorted you both to the office where you were met with the shocked face of Umbridge. You gave the two boys a fleeting death stare as to warn them off of telling Draco that you were part of the DA. “Restrain them.” Umbridge smiled as the Slytherin boys tied your hands to the chair.
“I am truly disappointed girls. Why ever were you engaging in such treacherous magic.” she clasped her hands together as you and Parvati glanced at one another fearfully. “In all due respect Professor, we were just having a little bit of fun it was nothing serious.” She furrowed her brows, still with that wicked grin on her face and walked towards you slowly “Don’t lie.” you shook your head “I’m not professor.” the next two seconds were a blur as she smacked you straight across the face “I told you not to lie Miss y/l/n. With many years of experience in the ministry I know a defence spell when i hear one. Unfortunately you will have to face consequences now.”
Tears brimmed in your eyes from the sting of her slap as you saw yourself in the mirror she had also drawn blood from your cheek. She turned to Parvati who was practically shaking in her chair “Are you practicing defence magic with other members of your class Miss Parvati? Like Mr Potter perhaps.” you knew how good of a liar Parvati was “No Professor. Of course not, it’s against the rules.” Umbridge took that bait.“One month detention. You can go now Miss Patil but I’ll watching you.”
The gryffindor girl nodded before being released and practically running for her life out of Umbridge’s office. “Now what to do with you Miss Y/L/N.” you struggled against your chair and she shushed you “Now now. What’s all this commotion? You’ve disobeyed the rules surely you realise you deserve to be punished.” you shook your head squeezing your eyes shut. “You think i don’t know about your….relations with Mr Malfoy. Which too, is also forbidden in my school. I suppose I should punish you for that too. However Draco has been more that helpful in assisting me to keep this school in order so I’ll spare that punishment…for now.”
She circled around to her desk draw, taking out her wand, a piece of paper and a pen. “I would like you to write lines for today’s punishment. You will write I must not tell lies seven hundred times on this piece of paper. You will not be released from my office until you have finished.” Crabbe released one of your hands “Wait outside the door please boys and lock it.” Umbridge explained. Your stomach dropped and you picked up the pen with a shaky hand before you started writing. I must not tell lies I must not tell lies I must not tell lies. as you began to write line number 15 you felt a sharp stinging pain in your arm.
You rolled up your sleeves and saw your own writing cutting into your skin. You eyes began to water again as the pain got stronger. You pleaded with Umbridge as she sat watching you, the happy expression never leaving her pug-like face. “Please…no.” you said in choked whisper. She sighed and shook her head “I feared you’d say that Miss Y/L/N. Now carry on or I’m afraid I will have to take matters into my own hands. I don’t like disobedient children.”
You carried on writing, each sentence cutting in the same spot in your arm making you cry out in pain until you could no longer write. Umbridge took clear joy from your punishment and stood up coming around her desk once more “I’m afraid you’ve left me with no choice but to carry out it myself.” she fluttered her eyes with evil intent. “You’re the devil.” you cried , straining against the chair “That is an a terrible thing to say to your headmistress. You horrible little girl.” and with the flick of her wand she carried on the sentences, carving into your arm making you scream out in pain.
It went on for almost 4 hours. Even Crabbe and goyle felt bad and knew that they wouldn’t be the only ones able to hear your blood curdling screams that could wake an army. But everyone knew where they came from and who was causing them. The who would be the mystery unless the boys and Parvati were to tell people that it was you being punished which they probably would. When you were finally released, it was nightfall and you were seriously injured. “Mr Goyle please come back in.” when the boys opened the door and crabbe nearly passed out from the sight of you, half of you soaked in your own blood and struggling to stay conscious, surprised you were even alive.
“I hope you learned your lesson Miss Y/L/N.” You dragged yourself to the hospital wing assisted by Goyle “You tell Draco… and i’ll kill you.” you choked out at the boy holding you up. He said nothing and nodded. Goyle was going to tell Draco no matter what you said. Madame Pomfrey attended you immediately, luckily there were no other students in the hospital wing. She patched you up with a sympathetic look of deep concern on her face “Stay here till morning and then you can go back to your dorm. But you must rest for a few days. You lost quite a lot of blood.”
You sighed weakly lying in the hospital bed as pomfrey connected your bandaged arm to an IV and within minutes you were asleep. When you awoke the next morning you felt a hand holding yours. Opening your eyes you were met with the puffy red face of Hermione. “Mione.” you smiled groggily. “I’m so relieved you’re okay.” she wiped her tears and rubbed her thumb over the top of your hand. She helped you sit up in your bed fluffing the pillows behind you “I’m guessing Parvati told everyone.” Hermione shook her head “Just the DA. To keep everyone vigilant.” You bit the inside of your cheek nervously “Could you hear it? When Umbridge was punishing me?”
She cast her eyes to the floor “I was in charms class at the time but I’m pretty sure everyone could Y/N. You know thats how Umbridge frightens students to follow her orders. Remember when it was Hannah?” you rolled your eyes “I know. But everyone will gossip about it today.” Hermione gave you a weak smile as you continued “Wait. Draco’s in your charms class.” “Don’t worry Y/N. He looked visibly uncomfortable when it was happening but I don’t think he could tell it was you. Parvati covered for you and told him you were studying in your dorm and didn’t want any distractions from anyone. Whether or not he listened to her is another matter entirely.”
“Right well I better not waste anymore time he’ll be looking for me.” You insisted. Hermione shook her head “It’s sad really. He’s your boyfriend yet…” you finished her sentence “Yet he’s the head of the inquisitorial squad determined to rat everyone out just keep him and his idiot friends out of the trouble. Mione I know, I currently hate him for it.” She helped you up out of bed as madame pomfrey came over. She took your bandages off to reveal a fresh red cracked scar reading i must not tell lies.
Hermione observed your arm with a deep frown on her face “Oh Y/N….” you shrugged dejectedly as pomfrey collected a clean uniform and set it down on your bed. “I’ll still do whatever I can to help. Even more so now this happened. That she-devil needs to be chucked out of this school.” You pulled on your uniform making sure the scar was hidden under your jumper. Your arm was sore but it wasn’t unbearable you prayed Draco wouldn’t notice but you knew that facing him was going to be difficult for you.
You walked slowly back to your dorm, deliberately stalling. However it was no use and before you knew it you were making your way through the door of the common room. Of course there Draco sat on the plush green sofa. You immediately felt a lump in your throat and pretended not to notice him like it would solve the problem. He watched you walk by small smile on his face at your absent mindedness. As you got to the bottom of the stairs you felt is his arms wrap around your waist “Where are you off to my darling? I knocked on your dorm this morning but you weren’t in. I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages.” draco sighed into your neck.
you turned yourself out of his hold looking up at him to meet his icy blue gaze “Sorry went to the library I’ve just been studying a lot. I’m still quite busy Draco so I’m gonna get back to my dorm” his brows furrowed “But I didn’t see you all day yesterday. Had to put up with all that screaming from Umbridge’s office and Patil, a gryffindor, letting me know that youd locked yourself in your dorm to study. Cant I just hang out in your room or you can come to mine-“ you felt yourself beginning to choke up and get angry at his words so you cut him off “Draco. I’m busy. Not now.” and you took off up the stairs as he stood rejected watching your figure retreat into the dark hallway.
You threw yourself on your bed sobbing into the pillows. You had no idea how to act in front of Draco. You were so angry yet you loved him so much. For the rest of the day you showered and got into some comfy clothes before catching up on some schoolwork and getting some more rest. You felt your stomach begin to rumble so you got up again and trudged your way down to the great hall. You came down into the common where unfortunately Draco and all his friends were still sat. Blaise noticed you first and nudged the blonde boy. Draco looked at you hopefully as you ignored him once again.
“Y/N.” he called out to you. Internally cringing you faced him with a polite smile “Hi.” he scratched the back of his head “Did I uh- do something?” you shook your head as you felt the anger bubble within you “It just seems like I have. You’ve been acting really off with me today. Are you feeling ill? You don’t look well. You’ve been studying too much.” you rolled your eyes as your saw the other boys listening in on your conversation “I’m stressed, I need to study I already told you. Or is that not okay? I don’t want to do this in front of your mates Draco.” you turned to go back to your dorm but he grabbed your arm. The one with scar making you cry out in pain. He noticed immediately “Shit, are you okay darling? Did I hurt you?” You stepped back from him “No it’s fine. I just want some alone time Draco, please.”
You went back to your dorm even though you were starving and after an hour you eventually gave in. Giving it one last attempt you headed down to the great hall without any attention seeking from your boyfriend. Crabbe, Goyle and Draco were still sitting in the common room although this time there was no laughing or joking that could be heard “We have something to tell you.” Crabbe played nervously with the hem of his robe “Okay? what?” Draco looked at the boy suspiciously “You won’t like it.” Goyle admitted.
The slytherin prince sat back into the sofa “Well now you have to tell me. Is it to do with the DA? Cause you know we need to go to umbridge immediately if there’s information you’ve found.” Goyle sighed “No but well..sort of. Its complicated.” Draco frowned “For God sake spit it out.” “It’s Y/N.” Crabbe confessed “What are you talking about?”But if there was ever worse timing for you to return the from the great hall, this was it. you heard the heated exchange between the boys and caught Goyle ratting you out to Draco as you opened the common room door
“We saw her performing a defence spell with parvati so we took them to umbridge’s office. But we didn’t realise Umbridge was going to punish her with the lines. So the uh…the…the screams were hers. She was bleeding, that’s bit of an understatement really. And then I took her to the hospital wing after Umbridge had…finished with her. But I had to Draco.” You stormed into the room “Goyle! You asshole I told you not to say anything.” you yelled as Dracos heart dropped and eyes widened with horror as faced you.
“What? You mean yesterday when…all those screams..that was you.” his body when numb. “Yes. it was.” You eyes produced fresh tears as they flicked between the three boys “It’s your fault. All of you. Especially you Draco. You and your stupid fucking mates, you’ll do anything to destroy Harry. This is what your doing to people. To me. The person you love and the people trying to save this school from deatheaters and voldemort.” You screamed at him, rolling up your sleeve pointing at your arm with tears streaming your face as he stared at you as you headed off back to your dorm.
Draco ran after you shutting the door behind him “Y/N I-“ you cut him off, shouting “That monster of a woman tortured me for hours for using one defence spell. One. I nearly died! And yes I am part of the DA before you ask. I have to be if I want to survive in this school. God, Draco if anyone should be helping us it’s you! You hate your family and everyone knows they’re deatheaters anyway.” admittedly you felt bad for saying it but it was true. You turned away from him, sitting on your bed and sobbed “Go on turn me in then.” silence. You faced him again “If you have nothing to say then leave.”
he sat down and suddenly grabbed your waist, pulling you into his lap “i’m sorry. i’m so sorry.” he whispered over and over as tears streamed down his face “i love you. forgive me.” his gaze flicked to the scar on your arm, feeling wracked with an overwhelming guilt. You both held each other until your crying had turned to sniffles. Draco held one side of your face as he cradled the rest of your body “I can’t tell you how much I regret acting this way. You wouldn’t have suffered if I hadn’t have been Umbridge’s pet. That woman deserves Azkaban.”
You smiled “It’s true. You’ve definitely made yourself even more hated than usual. You know that Umbridge is insufferable and inquisitorial squad is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of. You lot made a lot of people suffer.” Draco hung his head in shame “I know. I promise I will spend a lot of my free time hating myself.” you giggled nuzzling into your boyfriend “Well I’m glad you feel that way. Though there is one thing you could do. You could stay in the inquisitorial but you wont tell on anyone. Make Umbridge think everything’s perfect and let the DA carry on to drive her out the school.” He nodded “If it protects you, I’ll do anything.” you gave him a stern look “So you’ll stop going after Harry too?” He sighed “Yes I will stop going after Harry. I’ll even talk to my father and the ministry about Umbridge.”
He kissed you deeply stroking your hair “I promise, anything for you. Now let’s rest and let me take care of you sweetheart.” You laid in your bed with Draco, his arms wrapped tightly around your body coaxing you off to sleep. And for the first time in a long time you felt hopeful about the future.
hope it’s not too dramatic lols. Also if you are following my Draco series I’m am still continuing with it I’m trying to finish the next chapter xx

The silver band on your finger glistens in the bright lights of the wedding hall, looking anything but enticing; instead of a symbol of love and comfort, it was like a shackle that tied you to a man you didn’t love forever.
Your eyes scan the crowd for the millionth time this evening, trying to seek out a pair of familiar brown eyes— your heart drops for the millionth time this evening, and you realize all over again that no matter how many times your eyes search for his, it will not make him appear.
He won’t come, you know that now as your new husband leans over to ‘kiss the bride’.
You try to wipe the disappointment off of your face, let go of his messy brown curls and smooth words, his rough hands and intoxicating scent.
Mattheo Riddle wasn’t yours to think about anymore; the man in front of you was.
Why your father thought a marriage alliance with Gregory Goyle would help your family, you’ll never know.
Worse, Goyle was, at one point, at least a decent friend of yours; You, Mattheo, Draco, Theo, Enzo, Blaise, Tom, Goyle, and Crabbe, used to strut around Hogwarts like you owned the place— let’s be honest, you damn near did. You and your protective group of Slytherins.
You allow your lips to touch Goyle’s for only a moment before you pull back and smile cordially; the two of you walk arm-in-arm down the aisle until you reach the doors at the end.
The moment you’re through, you push him away.
“I’m sorry, Y/n.” He says sadly. “If I could have said no, I would have.”
You shake your head, not even listening. “He didn’t even come, Goyle. I thought he’d at least try.”
Goyle sighs. “It wasn’t up to any of us. Not even Mattheo.”
Your eyes sting so you force your face to go deadpan and stare at Goyle. “I will always love you as a friend, Goyle, but I will never love you as anything more.” You say, retreating towards your dressing room.
He says nothing in return. He doesn’t need to. The feeling is mutual.
You enter your dressing room and release a strained breath, resting your head against the door after you close it.
Taking a deep breath, you allow yourself to daydream; to think what this day would be like if Mattheo was the one wearing a suit, the one saying his vows and sliding a ring onto your finger. You let yourself imagine all of the things you would’ve shared with him in this alternate reality, all the joy you might’ve felt. The future you might’ve been able to look forward to.
A tear slips silently down your cheek as your throat closes, suffocating you in the feelings you wish you were feeling.
Someone clears their throat and your eyes fly open, as your whole body snaps stick straight.
It’s your father, sitting eery and alone in a dark room. “You had to grow up one day, Y/n,” he says as his cold gaze sweeps over you. “Stop running around with that Riddle kid and risking your future.”
You shake your head. “The only real future I had was with him, Father.” You tug on the skirt on your wedding dress, and then your hair. “All this— this glamour and camaraderie is you, father, you playing puppeteer with real live people. I don’t know what status you think you’ll get from Goyle, of all people.”
Your father just sneers and pulls up his sleeve— an elaborate tattoo meant to symbolize his allegiance to Voldemort. The dark mark. He says, “You know exactly who that boy’s father is, and exactly where that puts me in relation.” He pauses. “This is what the Dark Lord wanted, Y/n.”
“…what?” Your mouth hangs open, and you wonder why the dark lord would want to torment you personally. “Why would he… I don’t understand.”
Your father just brushes past you and twists the door open. “If the Dark Lord doesn’t tell, you do not ask.”
……
“You’re going to marry him, right?” Pansy asks, smiling at you in the way that friends do when you have a crush on someone.
You shrug, playing it cool but despite your heart going a thousand miles a minute; excitement courses through your veins at the thought of Mattheo. “I think we’d have to become an actual thing first, Pansy.” You laugh.
She winks at you playfully. “I don’t think that’ll take too long, Y/n, He is whipped for you.”
You shake your head. “He is not.” Your heart still flutters.
“He is.” A new voice cuts in, and it sends a shiver down your spine. You turn to face Mattheo, who is now leaning in the doorframe.
What an entrance.
Pansy looks between the two of you and smirks mischievously. “I‘ll leave you two alone and go bug Blaise.” She slips past Mattheo.
You can’t meet his eyes as you grin stupidly at the floor, and the shirt in your hand.
“You talk about me often?” He says, settling on the floor next to you; he breaks you out of your stupor by gently tugging the shirt out of your hands.
You finally look at him. “No, only when Pansy brings you up. Which is always.” You bite your lip as you smile. “I don’t mind it though, you’re one of my favourite subjects.”
“That’s good,” he agrees, toying with a lock of your hair. “I think the guys are sick of hearing about you.”
“Of course they are,” you banter, “They already know everything about me.”
Mattheo leans in closer. “I don’t think they know everything.” His head dips down until his lips are just millimeters from yours. “They wouldn’t know what your lips feel like, would they?”
He bridges the gap and the two of you spent what is probably several minutes just kissing, and when he pulls away you’re breathless.
“No, I don’t think they know that.” Your voice comes out high-pitched, still trying to catch your breath both mentally and physically.
“I hope they never find out.” He says quietly.
You nod absent-mindedly. “Me too.”
….
You sigh deeply and set down the box in your new living room. Trying to put a positive spin on it, you think about how it won’t be terrible living with a friend instead of your parents, who were never there when they needed to be and always there when you needed them to leave.
Emotionally and physically.
You and Goyle are throwing a housewarming party, per his mothers request; so, technically this box really shouldn’t be in this room right now. It needs to be prepped for the party.
Goyle walks into the room. “Malfoy wants to know if he should invite Mattheo.”
You shrug. “Tell him to invite him, I don’t think he’ll show up either way.” Getting over Mattheo has not been easy, and when you think about him, his absence still sends several intense stabs through your heart.
You can still feel the ravines where the cracks in your heart formed. If he did show up, it would either put you on the path to healing or destroy you all over again and possibly forever.
You were fully prepared for the latter if it meant seeing him one last time.
But he won’t show, just like he wasn’t there when you really needed him just a few months ago, when some other man’s ring was being slipped onto your finger and you were near powerless to stop it.
Goyle stares at you for minutes, as if you’re fragile and need to be handled gently. “It is short notice.”
You pick the box back up and walk past him, just to stop at the foot of the stairs. “That’s not what I mean and you know it.” Then, you go upstairs and place the box in the guest bedroom. You have all this space in your new house and absolutely nothing to do with it.
Rooms filled with expectations and soured dreams.
….
Parties should be fun; this cake, considering it’s your favourite flavour, should taste good. You’re surrounded by the faces of your closest friends, all your family— though you aren’t fond of many of them— and all of Goyle’s family. Yet, all you feel is unfulfilled aching for Mattheo.
You feel so pathetic, always thinking about Mattheo, always relating everyone moment to your first love.
But you had wanted him to be your last. Your only. Your everything.
Draco is here, and he’s the one who asked about inviting Mattheo, so you’re pretty sure he’s not coming and you know you absolutely shouldn’t ask.
Instead, you stare at Draco as you eat the tasteless cake, wishing he’d somehow understand what you wanted to know.
Doesn’t help that he’s across the room.
“Y/n, come upstairs for a minute.” Pansy says, dragging you away from the party and into your bedroom. Or what will be your bedroom, anyways.
When the door has shut and she’s locked it, she turns back to you. “You can’t spend the whole party pining over the possibility of Mattheo showing up, Y/n; I know how much he means to you but you have to accept that you’re married and it’s over. You’re only going to hurt yourself more if you keep obsessing over this.”
You reel back, though you’re thankful for how bluntly Pansy says it. “I know, Pansy, I know. I just— I don’t know if can ever get over him. I mean…” You trail off trying to find your words. “Goyle was probably the last person out of our group that I would’ve chosen if I couldn’t have Mattheo. Truly, I think I could live if it was Enzo, or Theo, or even Draco, but not Goyle.”
She sighs. “But it’s not them, and it is Goyle.”
“So, what now?” You huff. “I’m just supposed to… I don’t know, keep his house and have his kids?”
Pansy’s eyes soften but she doesn’t respond; its a rhetorical question and there really isn’t any proper answer for it.
Then, there is a knock at the door. Pansy unlocks and opens the door, just enough for her to see who it is.
When she does, she says nothing. You watch her slip out the door before you even see who is behind it.
And then he steps in.
Mattheo Riddle.
“Hello, Y/n.” He says, so plainly as though he hasn’t just affected you in more ways than you could ever possibly count.
You look away. “You actually came.”
He clears his throat. “I did.”
You can almost picture him a few years back, standing in your dorm room door, smiling at you in that teasing way that made you knees weak.
Except he’s not smiling, and there is absolutely nothing blissful about this moment.
“There’s something I have to tell you.” Mattheo shuts the door behind him. “If it changes anything at all.”
…..
“There’s something I want to tell you, y/n.” Mattheo says one day, cryptically. “I’m just not sure if I should yet.”
You brush his hair out of his face. “Whatever it is, you can tell me, whenever you’re ready.”
He shakes his head, but he’s not disagreeing. “I’m worried you’ll see me differently.”
“There is nothing in the world that could make me see you differently, Mattheo.”
He seems sated by your words, and pulls you into a hug, resting his chin on top of your head. The two of you stay like that for a long while before he finally says, “I’ll tell you, but not today.”
You nod silently and focus on the feel of his arms around you, not wanting to take a single moment with him for granted.
…..
“What is it, Mattheo?” You say exhaustedly while you sit down on the mattress. “What could you say that would change anything?”
He takes a deep breath and sits beside you. “I know why this is happening, why Voldemort singled you out.”
You look up at him. “Mattheo…” trailing off, you stare at his sleeve in horror, dreading what you think he’s going to say. “Please tell me you didn’t.”
He furrows his eyebrows, following your gaze; when he realizes, his eyebrows shoot up again. “No! No, That’s not why I know.”
You visibly deflate with relief. He instinctively curls his arm around you but then quickly pulls it away. “Okay,”
He chuckles dryly. “My reason is actually much worse.” Mattheo pauses, blowing out a breath. “I’m his son.”
.
.
.
After a moment's hesitation, you shoot up from your spot, your eyes blown wide with disbelief. “Mattheo, you cannot be serious.”
He stands up, and sits you back down, trying to keep you calm. “It’s not like I want to advertise that my father is the most notorious dark wizard in history.” He reaches out and pushes a strand of hair out of your face, like you used to do to him so many times. “But he didn’t want you with me, Y/n, all of this is happening to you because of me.”
He sinks down to his knees in front of you and takes your hands in his.
“So,” You start. “I was personally targeted by the dark lord because you couldn’t bother to mention what’s probably a very important detail.”
His fingers tighten around yours. “I was so scared that you wouldn’t love me anymore if I told you, and then, by the time you were engaged, it was too late.”
You push his hands away. “Mattheo, I would have loved you no matter what you told me.” The hurt in your voice makes him back away from you and you can see the pain swirling in his eyes too.
“I told you. You know. Now, we can fix this.”
“No, Mattheo,” You stand up and push him towards the door. “It’s too late. You’re too late.”
He shakes his head rapidly. “No. No, it’s not.” Mattheo tries to stop you from opening the door but ultimately you push him over the threshold. “Please, Love, We can make it work— we could run away, do anything— please.”
You can’t look at him as you speak, while tears flow freely down your cheeks. “We were something, don’t you think so?”
His face falls, and you can see his heart shatter— you can feel your heart mirror his.
Perhaps, though, the most painful part is when he replies; “Yeah, we were.”

goyle!Eddie x fem!reader
a Gargoyle Eddie story
masterlist
18+ONLY
monsterfucking, unholy manroot.
wc: 423
Every now and again, when the mood strikes, you like to sit in gargoyle Eddie’s lap, straddling him. You strain to push his demon cock in before he gets too hard so you can feel it swell inside, coaxing it to burst you at your seams. Your movements are slow at first, rocking back and forth on his length, legs dangling, whining with need when the girth of his size threatens to split you at the base. His hand wraps around your throat with such ease, the claws touch; brown eyes that burn to black while the pupils drink you in, growling filthy promises to you in that ancient tongue that makes your cunt ripple and tighten. Deep inside, his tip pushes right where you need it most, and you continue to grind in lazy circles, the gift of your arousal dripping down your slit and thighs.
But then you feel the unholy manroot twitch, heralding a mounting release, and his hips buck up to meet you, making your eyes roll back. Sharp claws sink into the meat of your ass just enough to accentuate your pleasure, producing tiny pin pricks of blood, and you whimper his name on repeat.
You’ve learned a few words from him, and his favorite is when you call him King. My King, my husband, my everything. You say them to him now, and his forked tongue slides over his sharp teeth, a dark, hungry groan purring from his chest.
Repeat he tells you.
My King, my Husband, my Everything.
He’s doing all of the work now while you bounce there, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes at how wide you’re being stretched, and at the frightening depth of your love for him. Abruptly, he stops thrusting to hold you in place, meeting your kiss with tender urgency. You brush the long, dark hair from his face with a feather touch.
“Tell me,” you say to him in his language.
Lowering his forehead to your lips as a yield to your command, he obeys. “My Queen.”
My Queen, my Life, my Everything.
Strong hands taking purchase at your hips, he returns to pounding you up and down on his cock with aching grunts, bringing you both to a frenzied, shaking release. You cling to his massive shoulders and cry out, shuddering, producing a stream of cum to match the load of demon seed pumping deep inside of you with each relentless thrust.
You’re barely able to catch your breath before gargoyle Eddie has you on the ground, burying his black tongue in your folds, feasting on every last drop.

Draco x Fem!Ravenclaw!Prefect!Reader
Tumblr media
Notes/CW: Angst, fluff, holding hands, romance in general, this is a decently experimental fic, in this AU draco isn't a prefect while you are,
Proofread: Yes
Prompt: Draco slowly falling in love with a genius yet outcasted reader
Part 1, Part 2
Tumblr media
Draco's pastimes consisted of; teasing ickle hufflepuffs, in general bullying 'annoying arseholes', making snide remarks to Pottah, and mostly hanging out with his toxic filled friend group. Oh, and might I mention he has a knack for breaking rules (if you couldn't tell).
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
"You buffoons- quit being so loud"
Crabbe and Goyle were quick to shut themselves up at Draco's command. Sneaking into the restricted section of the library wasn't a usual for Draco, but he needed to know the secrets that resided in this part of the library. No matter what anyone told the cold slytherin prince, he most likely wouldn't listen.
You were doing your prefect duties as always, diligently walking around the corridors of a school that was built like a maze. Yet, you seemed to notice something was off, your instincts were always strong and being observant was what you were known for.
A loud thunk. And then the sound of a boy scolding another person. From what you could make out, he was saying,
"This is why I don't invite you when I'm about to break about a thousand rules!"
And then the sound of shushing, shuffling, and a bit more quiet scolding.
You finally decided to investigate, your shoes clacking against the floor. Draco noticed it immediately, the sound of your walking growing nearer and nearer until he couldn't do anything about it,
"Crabbe- do you see any-..."
Before Draco even had the chance to finish his sentence, he came to the realization they had literally ditched him. Oh, how badly he was going to scold his normally obedient goons was incomprehensible.
"Hm? What does he see...?"
Your voice filled the tense air, Draco knew he couldn't "My father will hear about this" out of this situation.
Draco immediately noticed your practically glimmering Prefects' badge, he decided to try and act innocent (to no avail).
"Ah- Ms. Prefect, I was just about to lea-"
Before Draco could finish his sentence, you cut him off. Deeply disturbing Draco as he was used to having the upper hand. But before you could even begin to scold this unfamiliar boy, Filch's rugged tip-tapping entered the cold library. You weren't sure what to do, but your gut directed the rest of your actions.
You gently pushed Draco against the shelf full of curious books, placing a finger over his mouth as a way to say "Shut up". But Draco never obeys.
"Quite the temptress I see."
Dracos whisper sent a cold shiver down your spine.
"Oh for Merlins sake, shut up..."
His lips curled into a charming smirk.
"Oh you like me, don't you?"
The tension grew between you two. The heat growing between both Draco and you was undeniable. You didn't even know this boy, so how was it that you felt your cheeks burning red?
You finally heard the library go quiet. So you immediately pushed Draco away from you, seemingly further into the bookcase.
Your usual competent demeanor returned, yet you still couldn't make eye contact with this platinum blonde boy.
"I can tell you'd like to know my name, so, the name's Draco. Draco Malfoy."
You took a mental note inside your head to give "Draco Malfoy" a detention. And with that, you turned on your heel and walked off from a mesmerized boy, known as Draco Malfoy.
Tumblr media
A/N: this will eventually become a series but depending on my schedule and motivation it could take quite a while!! I truly appreciate your patience as well as the support for my recent fics♡

YANDERE HP GOLDEN ERA: SLYTHERIN BOYS X DORMMATE READER PT2
so more of the slytherin boys was in the lead last night and inspiration struck, but i still will be doing whichever option has the most votes by the end of the week, and eventually i'll probably have all of the concepts up, if you haven't already you can vote here.
Tumblr media
so i did more reading up on mattheo and lorenzo, and i honestly don't know where to pick up from, i'm thinking of making this my main concept for yandere hp and building on it.
the last post specified the darling as the dormmate of our dear slytherin boys here, but many of the headcanons can be applied to a fem darling, or darling from another house. it's quite intriguing to imagine someone who had grown up close to draco, theo, ect. getting sorted into a different house; i can honestly see this being a trigger for the boys' yandere tendencies to develop.
sure theo was attached before, but he had never even entertained the possibility of not getting sorted into slytherin together. and what do you mean the darling won't be there to knock draco down a peg when he won't stop talking down to goyle?. how is blaise supposed to get through seven years of not watching his darling everynight whilst they sleep?
i might expand on this in my future ravenclaw (possibly hufflepuff) posts. for now i want to delve into the individual yandere characteristics of each slytherin (i'm considering adding pansy, adrian, other slytherins) to the concept if anyone else is interested.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DRACO MALFOY (cast tom felton):
i think i've made it painfully obvious draco is alot to deal with as a yandere. he's got a bit of everything and even more; but overall, he is overwhelmingly obsessive. his obsession is driven by irrepressible thoughts of his darling. ever since he was a child, separating from them has simply felt wrong, i think he's likely to have known the darling the longest, perhaps having grown up close to them.
maybe his darling is a member of the black family, or a lestrange, or hails from another prominent family, thus he has been brought up closely next to them.
there's no one he feels more comfortable around, his darling is his home, which would be sweet if he weren't willing to kill and maim others to keep his darling with him.
his darling was probably hoping, praying to get sorted into any house but slytherin, it didn't take a ravenclaw to know draco would only get worse if they shared a dorm/common room. immediately, he claims the bed next to his darling, and already has pestered his father into arranging them a private dorm together, but that old oaf dumbledore refused because "all students must be treated equally." what bullshit. if you ask draco.
he won't let his darling interact with anyone "don't lower yourself and associate with the likes of them" and socially isolates them. don't you dare wander off, it'll end in the biggest tantrum, and don't even think about dating, the entire slytherin dorm will implode on itself.
draco needs constant attention, his darling is all he thinks about so he expects them to only think about him as well. you'll quickly learn that it's best to give draco the attention he wants. it's not that he plans to give his darling a hard time, but he becomes moody, both mean and clingy at the same time. he'll have his arm around his darlings waist whilst accusing them of being a blood traitor, and attacking their insecurities, then a few hours later he crawls into bed whispering sweet nothings.
it leaves his darling on the edge, because sometimes these mood swings happen even when paying him the attention he so desperately craves.
this could lead to his darling keeping a facade up in front of him, so he has less ammunition during his mood swings, but if he suspects his darling of not being as open and comfortable around him as he is them, all hell breaks loose.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THEODORE NOTT (fancast lorenzo zurzolo):
but he's not as sensitive about his darlings perception of him as theo is. perhaps sensitive isn't the correct word as much as demanding. theodore demands his darling be open and honest with him, he wants to know about every ache and thought they have. however he is best characterised as a possessive yandere. above all he cannot live with the thought of sharing his darling with anyone.
sharing, in theo's mind, is anyone even casting a glance upon his darling. why isn't his company enough? why does his darling have to interact with undeserving rodents like malfoy, potter and the weasleys? he would completely abandon his life outside of his darling if they just asked would anyone else do that for them? no!.
they're the person that matters most to him, and he wants to be the only person his darling cares about as well.
theodore has likely known his darling since childhood, perhaps they shared similarly harsh parents/guardians, and bonded over that. it would make it all the more easier to theo to manipulate them into staying close to him.
his company is not as dreadful as draco's, and he doesn't demand physical affection and praise as much as the latter does, not if his darling is not willing. but there is still a part of him that yearns to press up against them and never let go.
he simply cannot handle his darling distancing themselves from him, and is quick to resort to threats, blackmail, emotional manipulation, anything that he thinks will keep him and his darling close.
he is another one who will shamelessly confess his love and attraction to his darling, and has already 'claimed' them in a strange way; everyone at hogwarts seems to identify theo out of the slytherin boys as the one the reader is 'dating', to theo's delight. his darling doesn't have to agree with the rumours or even think of them as a couple, as far as he's concerned, they've been together since they met.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MATTHEO RIDDLE (fancast benjamin wadsworth):
the only one who i imagine the darling meets when they start at hogwarts is mattheo. whichever year he starts at hogwarts, he's immediately intrigued by them (for whatever reason). maybe the rest of his dormmates take poorly to his blood status, and the darling is the first to welcome him, or maybe ol' moldy voldy has tasked him with extracting something from the reader.
no matter what jumpstarts his obsession, it develops at an alarmingly fast rate, one week he's glancing over at them in class, the next he's invading their thoughts whilst they sleep and following them in the halls.
his darling likely won't take too easily to his sudden interest in them, they've already been dealing with several unsettling slytherins for years, and are probably always on guard.
not like mattheo cares. if he wants to be close to them, he will. he knows draco and his gang have to treat him with courtsey if they want their families to stay in the dark lords good graces, as does his darling. so he inserts himself (quite violently) into his darlings life.
it should be harder than it is considering his short temperament and his darlings cautious nature, but he's able to understand his darling on an intense level due to his inherited legilimency.
no matter how uncomfortable his darling is around him, he can just invade their mind and lock them in a room with him if he wants to spend time with them. and he always gets what he wants.
he seldom reveals that he is reading their mind, lest they feel the need to develop occlumency. it also gives him a kick knowing their raw thoughts, he could never even say a word to his darling and still know them better than anyone else does. including the other slytherins.
deep down mattheo's incredibly insecure about his connection with his darling; out of theo, blaise, goyle, enzo, draco, he's known them for the least amount of time. he's the only half-blood. he's evil incarnate son of the dark lord himself. he'd only bring them pain and suffering but he can't bring himself to let go of them either.
whilst theo, draco, enzo and even goyle will confess their affection for their darling, and perhaps admit to what they've done, mattheo will only do the latter, and does not provide any context as to why he hexed weaslette after the darling complimented her quidditch skills, nor will he elaborate on why he must take showers at the exact same time as his darling everyday.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BLAISE ZABINI (cast louis cordice):
blaise shares his concealed affection for the darling. you could be none the wiser to his deep seeded affetion for you for years only to suddenly be told that he's your betrothed and now he refers to himself as your fiance and invites you to sleep in his bed as if it's the most normal thing ever.
among them all, blaise is the most calm and calculated. he knows that following his darling around and monopolising their interactions makes him look bad but sometimes he just can't help it. he has to sneer at granger who the darling got paired with in potions, and make remarks about how disgusting muggle and mudbloods are.
but he doesn't think he's better than muggleborns; he thinks he's better than everyone. i think blaise is the most likely to develop an obsession for a shallow reason, maybe the readers is aphrodite personified, hails from a prominent pureblood family that his mother is encouraging him to marry into or is incredibly intelligent, their actual character couldn't matter less to him. from the moment he decides they're his, they're his.
blaise is uniquely one of the only ones who actually wants his darling to love and show him affection of their own accord (meaning he would be nice enough to give them amortentia).
he wants them to be happy, but he also wants them to be entirely dependent on him. he takes on a sort of big brotherly role, he encourages them to eat and sleep well. he wants to be the one they ask opinions on outfits, schoolwork, ect. he thinks if they rely on him for everything, it'll be impossible for them to leave.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LORENZO BERKSHIRE (fancast louis patridge):
out of all of them, enzo is by far the 'softest', as mentioned in the previous post, he's the 'sane, normal' one out of all of them. he doesn't act strangely creepy (sorry blaise it's true), disturbingly controlling (don't deny it mattheo), possessive, obsessive or devoted to them. he comes across as the 'best friend', the sidekick in every romance novel that offers advice and stays out of the drama.
this is because he initially see's his fixation on his darling as nothing but a desire to protect them from those lunatics he and his darling call 'friends'. but why does his heart drop when he see's them getting pulled into a room by mattheo, or when blaise stares at them as if they are a veela. it's not jealousy it's concern for his poor mate. yeah, that's it.
and why can't he stand to be left out of their attempts to evade the others, or when they don't confide in him, whether their troubles are slytherin related or not.
he's probably the only one who realises how messed up what they all do is, the rest justify it, but when enzo eventually gives in to his obsession he doesn't pretend to be in the right. he's apologetic but he just can't let them go.
the only thing that would set him off would be them distancing themselves from him. he can handle sharing, but the idea of his darling avoiding him, not viewing him as the safe haven from the rest really drives him to insanity.
i also think lorenzo would be the one who convinces everyone to share their darling once shit hits the fan and everyone wants to take the reader for themself.

GREGORY GOYLE (cast josh herdman):
goyle is honestly just happy he gets to be around his darling. yeah, it would be nice if he could have them to himselves, and not just be a lackey for draco to sabotage the others. maybe his darling treats him with a bit more benevolence and he's grown attached to them over the years.
always willing to lend a helping hand, i think he's the least possessive out of all of them, and is best characterised as a devoted yandere. whilst the rest of them want to maintain some level of control over the reader, he's content just being near them. he doesn't even have to talk to them but it's a plus.
i wonder if he's actually as bad at school as he acts or if he just doesn't bother listening so that the darling has to dedicate time to tutoring him. no one knows.
goyle will really have to fight tooth and nail to be apart of the sharing arrangement enzo, draco, theo, mattheo and blaise somehow eventually come to. (that i will expand upon in a future post because this is getting long).

Author’s Note: HELLOO
If you remember this story you probably read Horrid Ex Boyfriends which I wrote in 2020 but I feel like I’ve grown a lot since then and wanted to take my hand at rewriting some old fics. I loved this one much more in its current form <;3
The original request: by anon, Hello love, your pinned post made me all fluffy inside: I’ve dreamed of this story for so long!! Could you do a Draco Malfoy’s Slytherin ex-girlfriend hating the Weasley twins but amidst the break up, finds herself drawn to George and falling for him? Just so you know, I even read the stories about fanbase I do not know because your writing is A+ !!! ❤️
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director

Draco gave you a look you didn’t recognize. You knew his face by now. You knew his expressions better. Dating the Slytherin heir came with its perks but it also came with its downsides, like having to know exactly what he was feeling for the sake of yourself and everyone around you.
But this look seemed unfamiliar. You sat together at the table in the Great Hall, across from Goyle and Crabbe. You didn’t particularly like either boy but you tolerated them for the sake of Draco.
“What’s wrong?” you asked, gently, trying to coax out some sort of emotion. His face wiped of any disdain.
“Nothing,” he snapped. You widened your eyes.
“Alright.” You cleared your throat, putting down your fork. “Do you want me to meet you after the Quidditch game tonight?”
“Don’t bother,” he said. “I have things to do.”
“Oh? What kind of things?” you asked, defensively.
“Nothing that concerns you.”
“What is your problem Malfoy?” There was a loud bout of laughter coming from the Gryffindor table. Your eyes followed the noise, landing on the familiar group of redheads. George Weasley’s head was resting on the table. He was shaking from laughter. You found yourself longing to know what they were laughing at. They always seemed to be having more fun than you were.
“Damn Weasley’s think they’re the only people in the world,” Draco grumbled. “Don’t they know we can all hear them?”
“You didn’t answer my question,” you pointed out.
“We’ll talk later,” he promised, voice sneering. He reminded you of his father then. You had the displeasure of meeting Lucius on multiple occasions and the more you watched Draco grow the more he became like him. Was that his goal all along? Did he strive to be the heir his father wanted him to be? Or did he want to be his own person, more like his mother?
You got up from the table and grabbed your bag. If you could sit with the Gryffindors you would, if only to annoy your boyfriend. You left the Great Hall and Draco didn’t even bother to watch you go.
George did, only because you caught his eye. Dinner wasn’t even halfway over. You had a determined look on your face that intrigued him. No matter how much your boyfriend attempted to put the Weasley’s down, you never were able to join him. You usually stood, a bystander, which implicated you only in your silence.
George stood abruptly.
“Where are you going?” Fred questioned, still laughing about the tail end of some other joke.
“I’ll be right back,” he promised, the light hearted smile never leaving his face. He rushed to the doors, suddenly eager to follow you.
The silence outside of the Great Hall was sometimes deafening. It always surprised you when the loud voices became muffled. You never felt more alone than when you were no longer part of Hogwarts student body. You were just a girl inside a large school, far too large for her own good.
It was easy to hear that someone had followed you. The door opened, creaking, and the voices were loud once more for just a moment. You leaned between some pillars, against a stained glass window. You should get your books for your next class. Forget Draco entirely, focus on the schoolwork you knew you had to get done.
You expected Draco to round the corner, a forgiving look on his face, knowing that you would mend things with him again. You were startled to see a gentle look and some red hair. You squinted, confused.
“Miss Slytherin, what on Earth are you doing out here?” he questioned. He crossed his arms. He wasn’t here for some other reason, he had followed you. You glanced behind him, attempting to find Fred. Surely they were here to tease you mercilessly, just as Draco would’ve done to them.
“Where’s your better half?” you asked, bitterly. He clicked his tongue, shaking his head.
“He’s still eating, just as we both should be.”
“Who’s stopping you from going back?”
“A very solemn look on a very not solemn girl.” You hardened your face defensively. You looked down at your shoes, hoping not to reveal anything else to him.
“I’m fine. Just getting some air, Weasley, don’t worry about me.”
“I’m not worried. I’m curious. There’s a large difference.” You found yourself grateful for his care. Draco should’ve been the one to follow you but he never would've been inquisitive on your feelings. He would’ve told you his, begged you to forgive him, promise it would never happen again.
“I’m fine,” you repeated but it sounded less true this time than it had the first time.
“I can sniff out liars. It’s a skill I have, courtesy of Ron being best friends with the boy who lived and such.” You eyed him, guarded. “Alright, well you can’t say I didn’t try.”
He started to back away.
“It’s Draco. Though I suppose that gives you satisfaction doesn’t it?”
“I can’t lie, it absolutely does.” He smiled slyly. “But you don’t deserve whatever that twat has dished out.” You looked back down at your shoes.
“Thank you Weasley,” you said, quietly, like saying it any louder would mean you’d have to confront the situation.
“Do you know which Weasley I am?” he questioned, hands in his pockets, a familiar trickster look on his face.
“George,” you said, without missing a beat. “I’m not stupid.” The smile he gave you was genuine. It felt like he had handed you a small promise, a gentle secret.
The doors to the Great Hall opened. Draco emerged, showing almost no reaction to you and George speaking. Almost. You knew his face and you knew the twitch in his lips and the anger boiling within his eyes.
“Get lost Weasley,” he said, enunciating clearly.
“Come to beg for forgiveness Malfoy?” George questioned.
“I don’t need to tell you twice,” Draco promised, walking between the two of you. George put his hands up in surrender.
“Not my circus, not my monkeys,” he joked. He sauntered away, throwing you a wink that only you caught. You tried not to smile. It wasn’t until he had returned to the Great Hall that Draco spoke.
“We need to break up,” he said, clearly. The smile on your face fell into despair. What had you done to warrant this? The question seemed to be painted all over your face because he answered without you saying anything verbally. “We don’t work anymore. It’s nothing you’ve done.”
Your face twisted.
“Clearly it is.”
“It’s not. There’s no need to be emotional about this, we both knew it was coming.” You wished you could disagree with him. But you could tell he was distancing himself for this moment. You just thought you could play this game a little bit longer.
“Alright,” you breathed. “Fine.”
Draco showed nothing on his face other than awkwardness. He shoved his hands into his pockets. How long had he been wanting to do this? You crossed your arms and turned away, walking farther away from the Hall and back to the dorms. You weren’t going to class this morning.
“You aren’t going to fight?” he questioned, annoyed.
“Why would I? Clearly you’ve given this a lot of thought. We’re better off without each other.” His jaw set. He wanted a spat. He wanted a fight. Draco and you did nothing better than fight. You two could fight like no one else, screaming, throwing things, kissing and making it all better.
You wanted to fight him. You knew how it would end. But you also knew you were better off without it this time.
“Fine,” he said. You were still walking away. Draco had been part of your identity here at Hogwarts. It would be an adjustment without him.
“Fine,” you repeated and rushed away, turning a corner so you could allow your emotions to flow.
-
The next morning you made it halfway to your potions class before giving up. Sitting in the hallway and fake studying seemed so much more appealing than sitting in a classroom with Snape and Draco. You had no energy to make your way to the common rooms or a library so you sat on the steps beside a window, a book in your lap that you weren’t reading.
You could hear footsteps making their way towards you and you quickly searched for some sort of excuse to be on stairs instead of in class. You were pleasantly surprised to not find a teacher when the footsteps emerged. Fred and George Weasley gave you curious looks.
“Oi! What are you doing over here?” Fred asked. He seemed a little annoyed that they had run into you. You couldn’t blame him. Draco was cruel to the Weasley family and you couldn’t say that you were any better. You at least, never stopped it.
“Just ignoring potions,” you said truthfully. You wiped your eyes, just in case any stray tears from your small homework crying session had lingered.
“What’s wrong?” George asked. He seemed genuine but you didn’t want to give him the immediate satisfaction that Draco had broken up with you.
“I want to apologize. For being so rude to the two of you, it isn’t something I pride myself on,” you said changing the subject. It had been itching at you since yesterday and you were happy to finally get it out.
“It’s alright,” George started.
“We rarely think such things personal,” Fred finished.
“I would personally blame the most of it on that horrid boyfriend of yours,” George said. You locked eyes with George. The sympathy on his face led you to believe he knew. He hadn’t been told. He had guessed.
“Well I suppose you won’t have to worry about him influencing me any longer,” you promised, voice hard. You attempted to ignore the emotions that came with speaking it out loud. He wasn’t worth the tears, you tried to tell yourself.
“He finally did himself in,” George observed.
“After I spoke with you yesterday,” you explained.
“Good to be rid of him then,” Fred said.
“You always did deserve better.”
“Truly so.”
All three of you heard footsteps coming down the hallway at the same time. A panicked look came across your face but they remained entirely calm. George grabbed the book off your lap and helped you up. You gazed at him, confused, as he led you to a hallway that hadn’t seemed to be there before. You gasped, looking around, somehow within the walls of Hogwarts.
“How did you know this was here?” you questioned in awe.
“Lucky guess,” George promised, hand still holding your arm. It was a tighter space than you had been in before. You heard whoever was walking go past. You remained where you were, looking up at him with curious eyes.
“This wasn’t a guess. What do you two know?”
“More than you,” Fred assured. You scoffed, though the laughter was pleasant. You moved away from George, leaning against the wall.
“You Gryffindors act like Slytherins are the sneaky ones,” you mused.
“To be fair, a Slytherin created the Chamber of Secrets didn’t he?” You shrugged at the observation.
“Alright Weasley’s let me out of the walls.”
It was unexpected, just how drawn you felt to the twins. Especially George. You had never bothered to give them the time of day when you were with Draco. George was easy going when you needed emotional attention. They were light hearted and funny. You needed light hearted and funny.
The Hogsmeade trip was the highlight of everyone’s month. Getting to leave the school was exciting, even if your school was a literal castle. You had always gone with Draco, even before the two of you dated. Still you forced yourself to get ready, bundle up into a scarf and hat, promising yourself a good time.
“Hey!” You turned to find George, a smile plastered on his face. He was cozied up for the cold as well, though he was without the twin that usually trailed behind him.
“Well if it isn’t my favorite Gryfindor,” you mused. “Where’s Fred?”
“Fred had to stay behind and make up a test for Snape. I offered to help him cheat but he’s already on the terribly bad side of that teacher and decided to fend for himself,” George explained.
“Well better that than to end up having detention for the next month.”
“Would you care to be my companion on this trip?” he asked, bowing dramatically and offering a hand. You laughed gently, shivering. It was starting to snow. You took his hand.
“My red knight,” you teased. He threw his arm around you. You tried not to lean into him, or feel anything at all. You had just broken up with Draco.
Well, Draco had just broken up with you.
“Honeydukes?” he asked.
“I thought you’d never ask.”
-
You stopped in for some butter beer and walked around until you were too cold to be outside. By the time you entered Honeydukes you were full and George had a butterbeer foam mustache. You pointed at it, shivering from the new warmth of the shop.
“I’ve been trying to grow one,” he admitted, not wiping it away.
“It is a good look,” you admitted, laughing.
“You think so? Perhaps I could draw one on with some make-up pencils.”
“They’ve got to have some fake mustaches around here somewhere.” George gravitated towards the candles which had some prank ones mixed within them.
“Which should I bring back to Fred?” he questioned. “I was sorry he had to miss today.”
“One of those,” you said, pointing at the ones that explode when you light them. “He’d love that.”
“You’re absolutely right Miss Slytherin. I’m glad you’ve got to come along with me.”
“Me too,” you said earnestly. You couldn’t remember the last time you had so much fun at Hogsmeade. Your smile lingered more now. George could almost swear you were glowing. It made him want to take you aside, keep you to himself. He refrained and offered you a candle to smell. You leaned in, a serene look going over your face as you breathed in. You made a twisted face.
“What is that one?” “Firewood.”
“That’s an awful candle!”
You were laughing when Draco saw you. It was odd, going to Hogsmeade without you. He found himself unable to figure out what he wanted to do. Usually you dragged him around the shops and he ended up buying something you didn’t need.
Seeing you so happy made his stomach churn. With a Weasley no less. He had thought you would still be heartbroken. He would be lying if he still wasn’t a tad torn up himself. But you looked immensely unaffected by the lack of him around.
You looked happier.
“Goyle, go see what they’re getting,” Draco spat. His friend nodded, eyeing him suspiciously before slinking through the crowd of people.
“Smell this one,” you said, offering another disgusting one. “You should get this one for Fred, if you’re going to get him the chocolate frog like a good brother. It’s only…” you trailed off, feeling Draco’s gaze. You caught his eye. At the same time George saw Goyle, coming to do Malfoy’s dirty work.
“Oh bloody hell,” George muttered. He gave you the things he was holding and turned to Goyle who looked like a deer caught in headlights. George grabbed him by the scarf, dragging him over to Draco.
Draco had never noticed how tall George Weasley was.
“Made your minion come and do your dirty work, did you?” George questioned. You rushed forward, leaving your things on the table where you were at.
“What’s your end goal here Weasley? Have you gotten into her pants yet?” Draco questioned, voice like venom. George shoved Goyle at Draco, almost causing both of them to fall over.
“Listen here Malfoy-”
“George he isn’t worth it,” you promised, grabbing his shoulder.
“Oh no, let him speak.” Draco stepped up, sizing up the twin. “What, did she call my name instead of yours?” There was nothing you could have done to stop George. He was already throwing the punch before you could even register Draco’s words.
Draco staggered, hand up to his nose.
“Watch your tongue Malfoy,” George seethed. You had never seen him so worked up before. You weren’t even sure he knew how to get angry, let alone through a punch as good as that one. Draco’s nose was bleeding, dripping down his chin. Goyle turned to his friend, eyes wide in shock. Hexes were one thing. An actual assault was something completely different.
“George come on,” you hissed, pulling him away. This time George listened, allowing you to drag him out of the shop. You didn’t speak until you had left the scene completely, landing on one of the hills just outside of Hogsmead. The snow had piled up. You could see the footsteps you took here.
George had calmed down, the red almost completely gone from his face.
“God George,” you hissed, grabbing his wrist. You looked at his knuckles, now slightly bruised from the impact on Draco’s face.
“I don’t regret it,” he promised. His general joy was back.
“Why are you being so nice to me? After all Draco and I put you through, I didn’t deserve that,” you questioned.
“Fred and I agree, it was always more Malfoy than you.” He paused, gazing down at you. “And I always did think you deserved better than him.” His voice was quieter now.
“Like who?” you asked before you could even process his words. “You?” You meant for it to come out like a joke but your tone was too soft to have it be read as one. There was a moment of silence. You smiled at his stunned face. You had caught him off guard and he wasn’t sure how to answer.
“Well yes. I suppose,” George said finally. You smiled. You could feel the cold on your face, making your movement slower than usual but the joy was there either way.
“Good then.”
“Good?” he asked. You were still holding his wrist, so close to his hand.
“We’re in agreement.” He scoffed.
“Agreement then.”
“Yes. Agreement.”
“Love, I’m going to kiss you now.” The words sent shivers down your spine.
“Alright,” you breathed. His lips were warmer than yours. He didn’t allow you to get away with just a peck. He said he would kiss you and he meant it. You were smiling against the kiss, too stunned to do much else than kiss him back.
When you pulled away you noticed one of his hands were on your side and he had started to hold the one that was once holding his wrist. You could see your breath in the cold but you could see him more clearly.
“Let’s go back to the school and get a bandage for your hand,” you said quietly. He nodded, keeping your hands intertwined.
“Just a moment.” He took off his scarf, the red and gold one that signified his house colors. He took off yours, the Slytherin green and black. He wrapped his own scarf around your neck and you watched him with wonderstruck eyes. The scarf smelled like him. It was warm with his body heat. He lazily put yours over his neck. “Alright we can go now.”
-
Fred was in the Gryffindor common room when you got back. The school was empty, sans the portraits, ghosts and a few stragglers. Everyone was still going about enjoying their day outside of the grounds.
“What did you bring me?” Fred questioned, standing up from the couch beside the fire. You had started to shed your layers, taking off your gloves and hat. “You have a severe case of hat hair Slytherin,” he noted.
“George punched Draco in the face,” you explained brightly.
“Good for him.” He patted George on the back. “He had it coming.”
“So we had to run away,” you explained. “Hence, the empty hands.” Fred rolled his eyes.
“You could have stolen something but alas.” George gave his twin a gaze that caused Fred to pause. There was a beat of silence. “I think I left something in the dorms...” he said, slowly, eyes squinted.
“Yes that sounds right.”
Fred backed away, a cheeky smile on his face.
“Faster Fred,” you said, smiling. You couldn’t remember the last time you had smiled this much. He took the hint and scurried up the stairs. George sat in front of the fire. You looked around for some bandages, finding a familiar box of supplies that you had in the Slytherin common room. You sat beside him, helping him take off his large jacket.
“You can help take off the rest of my clothing if you would like Slytherin.” You flushed, unable to meet his eyes.
“I’d like to wrap up your hand first.”
“First implies a second thing,” he mused.
“Yes, yes it does.” You finally looked up at his face. He was gazing at you with a look Draco had never even understood. George’s eyes had softened, the lines on the side of his face turned downward. His lips were parted expectantly. “Thank you for today,” you whispered.
“I’d like to do it again, if you’re up for it.”
“Punching Draco or kissing me?”
“Honestly I wouldn’t mind doing both again. But I was talking about the kissing thing.” You giggled. You actually giggled.
“I already promised that. Don’t be so eager George.”
“I will be as eager as I want to.”
You gently joked at each other as you wrapped up his knuckles, getting warmer by the fire. He played with his scarf around your neck. He distracted you by trailing his fingers across your jaw. He promised to memorize your face.
You promised to memorize his.

you hated draco malfoy.
actually, hate is a strong word; you extremely disliked draco malfoy. he believed he was better than everyone else with his stupid face, his stupid slytherin family history, his stupid rich background, and his stupid cruelty towards you.
draco malfoy was stupid and you highly disliked him.
for years, you had received as much torment as harry potter from draco malfoy due to your weight, especially your stomach. you'd be the laughing stock of malfoy and the rest of his slytherin gang, no matter how many times ginny weasley and hermione granger would tell you, "don't pay that evil little cockroach any mind."
you wish you could say the same thing to the voice in your head, screaming at you to do those ab workouts, to not eat as much during the school meals. you wish you could just flip a switch, that draco would stop asking you how many pounds you put on just from breakfast alone, or if you had any trouble fitting into your skirt that morning.
"or you can just sock him in the throat," mentioned ron, mouth full of food.
"you wanna do it for me?" you asked back, an eyebrow raised. ron shook his head and went back to his plate.
hermione sighed beside you, "why not bring it up to dumbledore? or even snape? they should hear the vile things he says to you."
you shrugged, "i don't know, i don't think it's worth it, honestly. that might just make him come at me more and at the moment, i cannot handle that." you tried to laugh at the end, but it came out struggled.
ron gave a smile across from you, mouth full of food, "at least you're not harry, fighting draco constantly to see who the heir of slytherin is."
harry's face turned red, "ron, please, can we not?"
you gave a quiet laugh, "i actually appreciated that ron, thank you." harry groaned beside the redhead.
ginny was about to comment until you heard the goblin voice of draco malfoy himself directly behind you, "hey, y/n, walk any steps today to shed off some pounds? looks like you need to."
hermione glared at draco, "how dare you speak to her, or anyone, like that! you are utterly repulsive!"
draco glanced around the table, "granger, when?"
hermione shot him a look, "when what?"
draco snickered, "did i ask? but seriously y/n, give your legs a break from carrying all that!" and with that, he walked away, proud of himself as he pounded knuckles with crabbe and goyle.
ron and harry stood up, ready to lunge at draco before you gave them a look, shaking your head.
you bit your lip, "suddenly not hungry anymore. um, i think i'm gonna head up to the dorms. see you guys later?"
before anyone could disagree, you stood up from the benches and made your way out of the great hall, running into fred and george who quickly noticed your watery eyes.
"you alright there, y/n?" fred asked, and you nodded quickly, "yes, i'm fine but i have to go - study. goodbye."
the twins looked at one another, and then at your retreating form, "y/n, are you sure-" their question dropped as you continued on.
and with that, the twins were left dumbfounded until they were informed by their friends, brother, and sister.
not long after that incident, draco left you alone, making you and your friends become very suspicious, as if malfoy had a trick up his sleeve. but shockingly, he didn't, and he continued to not talk to you until potions class.
when professor snape decided partnering up different classmates was a great idea, and you two ended up together. he had wandered over to your desk, sitting beside you.
he smirked, "y/n."
you nodded, "listen, just let me do this potion so we can get a decent grade and then you can go back to torturing me, ok? unless you want your grade to suffer?"
draco stayed quiet, somewhat taken aback by your words, "i can help, you know, might as well make sure someone like you doesn't screw it up."
you looked up from the textbook, "someone like me? right, because i'm so repulsive to look at, draco. thank you for the reminder, i'll make sure to dedicate my next workout to you, you git."
with tears on the verge of falling, you grabbed your textbook and hastily walked out the room, professor snape yelling, "and two weeks worth of detention for you, miss l/n!"
you flipped him off right outside the classroom, somewhat bummed and relieved at the same time that he didn't see it.
draco was stunned, simple as that. he knew he was a jerk, a total asshole, but to him, it was pure fun. there was no harm - at least to him. but now, as he sat in potions class, noticing how all eyes were on him, he came to the realization that there was harm done.
draco never actually thought you were heavy or overweight, or even ugly; by merlin no, he thought you were so pretty. yet, he wanted to slap himself as that was no excuse to bully her until she cried - no, he knew that was the wrong way to go about it.
so then why did he do it? he hated that stupid saying that guys bullied girls because they liked them, but draco wondered if that were true in his case. or if he just didn't want to acknowledge his feelings for you.
he pondered the rest of potions class, speechless as to why he thought making fun of your weight was any excuse to talk to you. all he did was hurt you so deeply, cut wounds into your being.
draco knew he was an asshole, and knew he messed up. so how does he apologize?
apologizing was not his strong suit as he never needed to; well, at least to anyone besides his parents. why apologize to anyone else if nobody was as important as them? oh, but you were. you were so full of life and jokes, so kind to him when you all arrived as first-years, yet he has always been so cruel to you. was draco seriously this foreign to kindness that he decided the easiest way to reciprocate was to be mean?
yeah, i guess so.
draco stood up, his chair screeching against the floor. everyone looked at him and draco glanced to snape, "i've got to go." and with that, he was gone, leaving everyone with wide eyes and raised eyebrows.
hermione looked to ron, "where do you think he's going?"
ron shrugged, "beats me. maybe thinking of new insults to hurl at y/n. it's been a while."
hermione sighed and shuffled uncomfortably in her seat, "i wanna go look for her, ron."
harry heard her and shook his head, "bad idea; i think snape might lose it if one more person leaves or even raises their hand."
severus snape was indeed distraught at the behavior that was taking place in his classroom.
but he was not as taken aback as you were now in the astronomy tower.
why had it taken all up until now for you to snap? to even come back at him with something as much as anger? draco deserved to be yelled at, to be slapped, to be, as ron said, "socked in the throat."
you wiped your tears, sitting on the concrete floor as sobs racked your shoulders again. a few owls surrounded and flew around the tower as you whispered, "i hate my body. i have so much hatred for this fat, the way i look, the way i feel. i hate it." you sobbed, feeling the tears slip down your cheeks.
you let out a shaky breath, looking in your bag to grab a tissue before snot became your worst enemy. you wiped your nose, wrinkling it at the feeling before you sighed. you sniffled, tears filling your eyes again.
"i'm sorry."
you jumped, looking around for the source of the voice until you saw draco shuffle out of the darkness by the concrete wall.
you scoffed, "ugh, merlin! go away, malfoy. you're the last person i want to see right now, if you haven't caught on."
he kicked against the floor, "i deserve that."
"and i deserved your bullying, too, right?"
draco glanced to you, shaking his head even though yours had turned back around. he stepped closer, "no, no, you didn't. i'm... i'm a git, you're right."
you sniffled, looking to him as he sat beside you. you grumbled, "took you long enough."
draco huffed a laugh, "it did. and you can still hate me after this, but i truly am sorry. you didn't deserve what i said and did to you, and i can't imagine how you must feel."
silence enveloped between the both of you until he continued, "i heard what you said earlier, about your body."
your eyes had been closed, and you hummed, "not exactly a shocker."
"because of what i said? no, it's not, and i'm sorry again."
you held up a hand, looking at him, "draco."
draco looked you in the eyes, "y/n."
you gave a slight laugh, "it's okay, i forgive you."
draco nodded, "i'm sorry for making you feel so shitty about yourself. nobody deserves to feel that way, especially you, because you were nothing but kind to me and i treated you terribly."
you smiled softly at him, "you did, but you're apologizing now. my issues i can deal with on my own, but you took the time to apologize now so i'm grateful for that."
draco was stunned, a frown on his face, "how are you kind to me right now? i was terrible to you!"
you gave him side-eye, "i said terrible shit about you in my head, so i figured i should be nice."
the two of you laughed loudly at that comment, draco's eyes crinkling. as it died down, he rested a hand on the back of your head. he turned you towards him, "you're beautiful. truly stunning, y/n. i'm sorry i said those things about you."
you gave a small smile as tears welled in your eyes, "thank you draco, it's okay."
draco leaned back on his one hand, the other still in your hair, "can i help you in any way? to help you love yourself and your body?"
you were shocked to the core at his words this entire time, but now your eyes were just popping out of your head. you stumbled, "oh - no, no, i don't think so. it's just something i need to learn, y'know, to love my body. it's just...hard."
draco nodded and he smiled, "i have an idea."
your face drained of color, worried this might have been a joke all along. draco continued, "instead of insults, i'll give you compliments throughout the day. maybe that can help?"
this draco was so sweet compared to the old one; you suddenly had the urge to just grab his cheeks and go on about how sweet he was. this was such a turn of events.
"then," draco went on, "you wont want to be in a new body."
you smiled, "that sounds like a great idea, draco. thank you."
draco's cheeks flushed, "yeah, not a problem, it's whatever."
maybe during this new change in events, draco and yourself can figure out how to deal with the pounding in your chests.

“Yeah- Jesus, Dray give me space.” You breathed heavily, pushing him away with a light chuckle as the end of a contraction rippled through your body. “It’s not bad. It might be false labor again.”
“I don’t know.” He crossed his arms, fidgeting his feet, not able to stand still. “You’re a week overdue. I think this is happening.”
“I think my opinion on that is more valid than yours.” You huffed, leaning back on the couch and kicking your socked feet up on the coffee table. “And I say, baby isn’t coming today. I don’t feel it.
He rolled his metallic eyes at your stubbornness and sat beside your kicked up feet, patting your purple socks and giving them a squeeze. “You ready to be a mommy?” He gave you a playful smirk.
You hummed through your teeth, relaxing from the previous uncomfortableness. “Are you ready to be a daddy?” You gave him a look
You both gave each other uneasy looks with sly smiles, looking down at your belly. “I’m excited to finally meet her.” His veiny palm went to your navel, rubbing softly. “You have a connection with her that I don’t. I hope..I hope that we’ll be able to bond.”
You placed your hand atop of his, guiding it to a foot that was prodding your side. “You have a connection, Draco. Trust me. I’m the one who’s carrying her, remember? I’ve got a junior miss Draco Malfoy in here.”
He laughed genuinely, leaning down to give your tummy a kiss. “Hurry up, okay? Daddy wants to meet you.”
Nine months ago both you and Draco thought your lives were going to be ruined by the accidental pregnancy, but now, the two of you couldn’t be happier. Your lives were now extremely domesticated. You owned an apartment together, worked jobs and owned your own vehicles. You were even engaged. The boy who didn’t have a choice, the former death eater had grown up. And it was only because of how much he loved you. His friends often made fun of him in the beginning, teasing him for how much he’d changed, when in reality, he hadn’t changed all that much.
The beginning of the pregnancy was hard for both of you. Draco had a lot of unresolved trauma from his own childhood, making him doubt his abilities of a father. If it hadn’t been for Narcissa, you weren’t sure if he would of been able to snap out of it. And then you had your own doubts about mother hood, and you had no mother to help you through your curiosity, but Draco was there for you. It had been you two since day one. You leaned on each other and took care of one another. You were just adding another number to the bunch.
You lived in an apartment complex in Diagon Alley. Rent was surprisingly not terrible, and with two paying jobs, you were both able to keep bills caught up and ready your daughters nursery. He’d wanted to do it himself, but you said no, so he left the decorating to you.
It was a year and a half since the battle. The wizarding world had healed itself and so had you and Draco after having to endure that night. His dark mark faded a little more within the passing months, but they’d always be there. It was okay, though. He didn’t let them bother him anymore. And after that, it taught him a lot about the things he thought were important to him. More so, what wasn’t important to him.
After surviving that night, he cared less about society and the pressure to please his father at all costs. It taught him that if he didn’t have you, he didn’t have anything. He didn’t have purpose. Some had not been so lucky. And some barely ever spoke again or wasn’t the same anymore, and it was hard for Draco to watch his classmates or even friends suffer so badly. It only made him treasure you and your well-being more.
Later that night, Blaise, Theo and Goyle were over at your apartment having pizza and playing with Draco’s pool table. They didn’t even know how to play right, but they still had fun with it. Your contractions were coming about once every hour, but your water hadn’t broke. You were beginning to think Draco may be right. You busied yourself cooking over the hot stove, flipping hamburgers for your guests. Normally, Draco would cook since you didn’t like the heat, but you were trying to busy yourself as to not think about your growing contractions.
You’d taken this whole pregnancy like a champ. You barely had mood swings and only occasionally morning sickness. You didn’t complain like he figured you would. Of course, you had your days, but you aced this nine months. But now, you weren’t feeling so confident. And just at the thought of it, you felt an ache in your back that made you freeze and grip the stove. “Fuck.” You groaned, gaining the attention of the men.
“What? What?” Draco panicked, running to your side. “Is it another one?”
You groaned and nodded as you bent over, breathing sharply as he held you up. “Fuck.” You spat
“That’s another one boys!” Draco beamed, pulling you up as the pain subsided. They didn’t last long, but you knew that would soon change. “How close are they now? Like…every forty minutes, right?” He guided you to sit at the table, pulling a chair out for you.
“Yeah, I think.” You nodded, holding your swollen belly.
“I can’t believe we’re gonna be uncles, man,” Blaise shook Goyle and Theo’s shoulders, hopping once in place. “Pansy is so excited for her next visit so she can see her.”
“Well, I’m glad everyone’s thrilled.” You teased, pushing Draco back so you could try to stand
“Woah, woah, you need to sit down, love” He grabbed your shoulders, trying to usher you back into your seat.
“I’m fine, Dray.” You patted his chest. “It could still be false labor. You’re worrying over nothing.” He let you pass with a creased brow as you went back to your food.
“How do you know when it’s time to go to the hospital?” Goyle lined his pool stick with an eight ball.
“When her water breaks.” He glanced at you over his shoulder, watching you carefully like you were made of glass. “If we can go after midnight, though, our insurance lets us have two free nights at the hospital.”
You were the one carrying this baby, and you also knew that this was not false labor. It was the real deal, and you were also nearly shitting yourself over it. Truthfully, you wanted to cry on the shower floor, but you wouldn’t even be able to stand up without any help. You’d never gotten nervous about any of this before. You were scared shitless in the beginning, sure, but you and Draco had gotten your bearings together rather quickly. After all, you both had done a lot of growing up since the trauma of the war. But with all the talk of labor, you weren’t feeling so confident in your body’s abilities of producing a human being.
“Well, what if her water breaks before midnight?” Theo sat on the pool table, talking as if you weren’t even in the room.
“Then we go to the hospital.” Draco chalked up the end of his pool stick. “Just a plus if it happens later.”
You huffed, turning around and holding a plate of cheeseburgers. “I am right here, you know?”
“Oh, yeah, we know.” Theo grinned. “You’re kinda hard to miss.”
“Ha ha.” You flipped him off, making the guys laugh as Draco took the plate from you and sat it on the table. “Eat your damn food”
While everyone else talked about your unborn child, you kept glancing at the clock. It was four o’clock, and you knew damn well that your water was going to break before midnight. You would have this baby tonight. Merlin, as crazy as it was to believe, you didn’t feel like eating. You passed your cheeseburger to Blaise , who happily scarfed it down while you pretended to not be scared to death, and Draco for once, was too excited to be able to tell that something was wrong.
It was times like these where you missed having the comfort of your mother, even though she hadn’t provided much comfort when she was alive. You just missed a female presence. Honestly, you wished Hermione was there with you, but you weren’t going to demand that she just let everything go just to calm your nerves. While the boys played pool, you sat on the floor and folded baby clothes, your body tense and nervous. You were extremely frustrated with yourself.
“How’s my girl?” Draco crouched down to sit beside you after some time had passed. “You seem awfully quiet.”
“No, no, I’m okay.” You nodded, still folding little baby socks. “Just tryna get this all sorted. Guess I should of done it when I wasn’t so huge.”
He chuckled, draping his arm around your shoulder. “How are you feeling? Think you’ll be getting any more contractions?”
What Draco didn’t know was that you’d already had three more. You’d just gone to the bathroom and ran the sink water while you bit on a towel. They were getting more painful, and you dreaded when your water was going to break. “Nope.” You lied through your teeth. “I told you it’s not gonna happen today.”
He patted your thigh and smirked. “Okay, mama. You just tell when you start to feel one, okay? We need to keep ‘em’ timed right.”
You were doing your own timing, and the last three had came every twenty minutes. “I will.” You gave him a peck on the lips as he stood to head back to his pool game. You knew you shouldn’t be lying. It was gonna get you in trouble, but damnit you were terrified. How in the hell were going to push out a baby? You were going to be ripped in two. You shuddered just of the thought of it...
After a while you decided you needed to get your mind off it, so you decided to join their game. Theo rolled his eyes when you took his spot and made him sit out a round, but obliged when Draco kicked him. You got yourself laughing after awhile when you’d kicked everyone’s asses. Pool was your game, and Blaise was a sore looser. “That’s utter bullshit!” He threw up his hands. “I didn’t even get to shoot! How do you get every pocket full!”
“Because I’m a woman, Blaise.” You leaned against the table. “We know how to handle balls.”
Blaise cringed while Draco and Goyle snickered, leaning shoulder to shoulder while they shared a beer. “That’s my girl!” Draco cheered. “Nine months pregnant and can still kick your ass, Zabini.”
“Don’t get cocky, blondie” You gave him a playfully look, tossing down your stick, “I can still kick your ass too.”
“Ha ha.” Blaise shook his head at him.
You smiled wildly and went to say something else, but a ripple went up in a wave through your abdomen, burning down against your pelvis that made you double. “Oh-” You couldn’t even try to conceal this one.
Draco’s metallic eyes widened and he shot over to you immediately. “Hey, hey, are you okay? I got you, I got you, my love”
Your hand gripped your belly and the other on his bicep, gritting your teeth and letting out a cry. “Oh, Merlin, ow, ow- ouch!”
“Breathe, baby, breathe.” He reached to pull out a chair and slowly helped you sit in it. He crouched below you and took your hands. “You alright? Talk to me, honey.” He reached up to pushed your hair away from your face.
You nodded as you felt a bead of sweat roll down your neck. You exhaled loudly as one last tightening sensation burned against your back, and you leaned your head back in exhaustion. “Damn, that hurt.”
“Alright, Blaise, what was that, man?” Draco looked over his shoulder as Blaise looked at his stop watch.
“Still seems to be once every few hours.”
Draco crossed his brows and swallowed nervously, looking up at you. “Are they supposed to be that painful so early on?”
You shrugged, not liking the sudden attention. “I dunno. It doesn’t matter anyways. We can’t go till after midnight. We can’t afford it.”
“Hey, you let me worry about that.” He squeezed your hand. “You just tell me when we need to be going, okay? I don’t care about our insurance.”
“Well, I do.” You snapped, crossing your arms. “I’m not going till after midnight, Draco. Stop trying to force me to go.”
“Hey, hey, I’m not forcing you-” Draco was beginning to try and apologize, but your defiance made him stall. He gave you a weird look that made your heart race, like he was reading your mind. He sighed frustratedly. “You’ve been having more contractions, haven’t you?”
“What!” You screeched, feeling trapped in your chair. “No, I haven’t!”
“Y/n, don’t lie to me.” He shook his head firmly. “You need to be honest with me, this is serious.”
“You don’t think I know that?” You shoved his hands off of you, and stood, he still helped you even though you didn’t want it. “I’m the one who was to give birth to her, you know? I know how serious it is!” You snapped, ignoring the boys who stood together awkwardly, giving each other nervous glances. “Quite hounding me about it and play your damn game.” You opened the freezer and grabbed your chocolate and salty caramel ice cream you’d been eating for weeks, pushing past him to head to the couch.
“Y/n, don’t do this” He followed you. “I’m sorry, okay. I shouldn’t have said that.” He tried to apologize, sitting beside you on the couch and grabbing your shoulder. “I’m sorry, honey, okay? I’m just nervous, I didn’t- I didn’t mean to be an asshole.”
You pouted your lip and brought the spoon to your mouth, taking a bit as you tried to keep from crying. “It’s fine. I just don’t want you to worry about me. She’s not coming today.”
He apprehensively nodded. “I know, I believe you.”
An awkward tension filled the room as he stared at you while you ate. You didnt have much color in your face, and he knew that something wasn’t right. And any normal person would assume that it was just nerves, but Draco was able to expect that from you, as to how easy the pregnancy had been for you. He thought you’d sore through the delivery with flying colors.
“Should we go?” Theo cleared his throat awkwardly.
The three stood side by side in the kitchen watching the both of you with nervous glances. “No, you guys can stay.” You brushed off with a wave. “Finish your game, I’m gonna watch tv.”
They nodded and obeyed, but Draco didn’t leave your side. “Draco, you can go play. I’m fine.” You reassured him, clicking on the tv with your remote.
“I know.” He pulled you into his side, arm draped around your shoulder. “But I wanna sit with you.”
Draco knew damn well that something was up, and he wasn’t going to let you out of his sight. You bit your lip but said nothing, sinking back into the couch while you paid no attention to the gameshow on the screen. Draco rubbed your thigh lovingly, then up to your belly. It had been eight minutes since your last contraction, and you prayed you wouldn’t have one sitting right beside him.
You were embarrassed how scared you were. You’d never felt so nervous in your life. You’d heard horror stories about birth before, and sweet Salazar, the picture books Pansy showed you were for nightmares. You weren’t going to be able to handle it. What if you weren’t strong enough? What if you couldn’t tolerate the pain?
You brought up a nail to bite and Draco noticed, but he said nothing. And then it happened again, your breath punctured it’s way out of your lungs and you gasped, doubling over as the tightened burn vibrated up your body.
“I knew it!” Draco squeaked out in a high pitched, panicked tone, holding you as you rode out your contraction. “I knew you were lying to me! Hell y/n-”
“I’m fine.” You moaned through the pain, squeezing your eyes shut as you whimpered.
He gulped and shot up. “Blaise! How close was that? Ten minutes?”
“Nine.” Blaise tapped his watch as he and the guys followed you. “Are you okay? Should we go to the hospital now.”
”Yes”
“No”
Draco whirled around and gave you an incredulous look. “What?!” His blonde hair in the front flew a little as he dramatically flayed his arms about. “You’re nine minutes apart!”
“And that’s too early.” You said firmly, huffing and puffing as the pain went away. Blaise passed Draco to sit beside you, patting your shoulder in support. “We go when my water breaks and when I’m five minutes apart. That’s what the doctor said.”
“Yeah, man you don’t want to be waiting all night in the hospital.” Theo tried to calm Draco down. “Listen to her.”
“Thank you.”
“Shut it idiot.”
Draco took a deep breath and rubbed his face tiredly, looking down at you with a panicked look. “Five minutes apart.” He gulped through a nod.
You nodded back. “Yeah. Now, sit down you’re making me nervous.”
Everyone gathered around you, and the room was dead silent besides your tense breathing. Blaise sat on your left side, Draco on your right, turned to you as he stared at your belly. Goyle and Theo sat on the floor where you had folded your baby’s clothes, staring at Draco for the next move. “Well, somebody entertain me!” You snapped, making them jump at your reaction.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were having contractions?” He said, or at least tried, gently, holding your knee. “If it’s about the insurance, I told you I don’t care about that. I have money saved up.”
“Theo have you read the new book I recommended to you, yet?” Blaise clapped his hands together, trying to change the subject.
“Because I don’t want you worrying, Draco.” You breathed shakily, closing your eyes and trying to tune out the noise. “If we leave when you want us to we’ll be there for hours. Trust me, we have plenty of time.”
“Yeah, man, it was good.” Theo cleared his throat, blinking between the two of you.
“Okay, but don’t lie to me about it, y/n.” He stressed. “We need to keep track, it’s important to-”
“I know, it’s important, Draco!” You shouted emotionally, voice cracking despite your strength. “I’m timing them, okay! Just shut up and let me worry about it!” You glared it him, failing to stand up. “Fuck!” You struggled, and Blaise placed his hands on your upper back to push you.
Draco gulped, shaking his head in disbelief at your outburst. “What is going on with her?” He whispered to his friends, pushing back his hair with sweaty fingers. “What the hell did I do wrong? She’s crazy!”
You ignored whatever whispers were being said about you, and you swallowed back the lump in your throat as you placed your ice cream back in the freezer, slamming the door and turning to the sink to wash your hands. Your breathing became shallow and you felt as if you were going to have a panic attack.
Then, a splat hit the floor that made you jump, and you looked down in horror at the puddle on the floor that soaked your grey leggings. “Oh, my god!” You cried, covering your mouth in shock at the sight.
“Y/n?” Draco heard your exclaim and he hurriedly ran over to you, the guys all following him single file. “What, baby, what is it?” He came to your side and followed your eyes down to the floor, seeing the puddle your purple, socked feet were standing in. “Oh- gross, oh, oh my god! Oh, my- shit! It’s time!” He laughed, bouncing up and down as he hugged you, the boys cheering behind him.
“No, no, no, it is not time, Draco .” You assured, but panic was seeping through your pores easily without care.
His face fell. “What? Y/n..love, you said when your water broke we would go, so- so let’s go!” He tried to smile it off, but your stern expression made his falter.
“Oh, gross.” Theo cringed at the puddle of…well, whatever that was on the floor.
You groaned as you sat down. “No, I said whenever my water broke and my contractions were- oh, oh, ow, ow ouch!” You wailed, gripping the chair as Draco’s hands shot up in a panic, rubbing over to grab his keys.
“Yep, yep, we’re going!” He grabbed his wallet and shoved everything into his pocket. “Goyle, go get the baby bag. Theo you go get her new pants and Blaise- Blaise stand there and look pretty.”
“I’m pretty.” Blaise stuck out his tongue to Theo.
“Oh, god- Draco, love, I’m fine.” Your voice was thick as you tried to speak through the pain, holding your stomach as you shook your head. “We still- we still got time.”
Draco’s eyes widened. “Y/n, let’s- okay, yeah, come on, we need to go. Like right now.” He winced at your sharp gasps of pain as he grabbed your shoulder to try and get you to stand. “Blaise, help me.”
“Honey,” Your body was tense and on fire as you gritted your teeth. “Calm down. It’s okay, just relax- ow, ow,”
“That’s five minutes apart.” Blaise stepped over to the other side of the chair.
“Five minutes!” Draco pointed to his watch. “See that, love? Five minutes. And you said we’d go at five minutes, so we need to go, right? Come on, up, up, up!” You both spoke over top of each other. You tried repeating over and over that you were fine. Draco kept telling you to get up. Blaise tried humming a lullaby to keep everyone calm, and if you hadn’t been so panicked, you would of heard Goyle and Theo trying to pick out a pair of pants that would fit your swollen legs.
Your eyes were closed to keep him from seeing your brewing tears. You were too scared. You couldn’t do this. Nope. Nope. You changed your mind.
“Baby, darling— light of my life, my treasure,” He bent slightly to place a hand on your shoulders, expressions panicked and wired with adrenaline. “Jill to my jack and Juliet to my Romeo, we’ve gotta go.”
Draco’s hands began pulling on your arms, and then you felt Blaise’s. It was enough to send you over the edge.
“No, get off! I’m not going! I’m not going!” You yelled out a nasty sob as your tearful eyes snapped open, you jerked your hands away and Draco’s face fell, and both him and Blaise backed away immediately at your sign of distress. “I can’t do it! I don’t want to do it! I’m too scared!” You sobbed, hot tears staining your cheeks as you covered your face, shoulders shaking with heavy hitches.
“Hey, hey,” Draco said so softly, crouching down to your level. “Sweetheart, hey, look at me.” He peeled your hands away gently, holding them tightly in his grasp. “Are you kidding me?” He smiled sweetly. “Y/n, if there is anyone in the world who can have this baby, it’s you. Merlin, you are so strong. The things you’ve done and seen. You’re going to be such a good mother.”
You sobbed pathetically and gripped his wrist, your nose leaking. “But Dray I’m so scared. Please- can’t you do it for me?”
He chuckled and cupped your cheek. “Oh, love, I wish I could. But I’m gonna be with you the whole time, I swear.”
Your breath started to pick when you felt another contraction start. Draco seen the panic in your face and he reached in for his key. “Blaise, go start the car.” He threw them over his shoulder without looking and heard the door shut.
“You’ve got it love, breath.”
You cried and leaned over to rest your head against his shoulder, and you pinched the skin against his arm as you sobbed and moaned through the ripple of pain. “Oh- god,”
“I’m so scared.” You whimpered. “I won’t be able to do it, Draco. I’m not strong enough.”
He shushed you gently and coaxed you to breath through your contraction, rubbing your back as you cried against him. “You remember what all the moms said at the last lamaze class?” He said into your ear.
“Yeah.” You choked. “They said that their vagina’s were ripped in two.”
He smirked and cupped your neck, pulling you away slightly so he could look up at you. “They said how worth it was. Come on, you remember that, don’t you?”
He wiped your tears with soft thumbs and held your face, his icy eyes full of such passion it made you want to fall over and die. “Remember, Leslie? She said that she forgot all about the pain when she saw her baby. And- and Donna said that everything was worth it once she got to hold her son.”
You looked so frightened, and he sighed, leaning down to place a kiss along the swell of your belly. “Sometimes I hear you talking in your sleep to her love, you’re gonna be such a good mother. She’s almost here. I know you’re ready to meet her.”
You let out a tiny sob and took a breath, your emotions all jumbled together. “Yeah.” You nodded through a thick voice. “I just- Merlin, I just can’t believe we’re doing this. After everything that we’ve been through. I mean..it’s really happening for us.” You let out a whine and closed the space. “I love you.” You kissed him, holding his face. “I love you so much.” You cried.
“I love you too, my sweet girl..are you ready to do this? Ready to go?” He asked with a soft smile on his beautiful pale face.
“Yeah, I’m ready.. will you be there with me? I can’t possibly do this without you, dray” you sniffled a little looking at him with doe eyes.
“I’ll always be there with you, love. Always.” He said and kissed you on your salty cheek. “Now, let’s go and meet our baby girl”
