You dont have to answer this publically but I thought asking you here instead of Twitter gives you more room to talk if youd like; More people would like and follow NASCAR if they were more openly anti-bigotry. Not only because this opens the door to newer, gen z and older liberal fans, but because of the DRAMA. People flock to the hated. People flock to drama and get into whatever else is involved; example, Kanye. I have seen a huge influx of people defending and enjoying the Kardashians again like its 2008 since Kanye was openly anti semetic. I think NASCAR, since in general, its supportive to queer folk and poc (donating a substantial amount to the trevor project this year, plus the 48 is even gayer than last years pride scheme, plus how they generally handle racism towards Bubba on large scale), should just start blocking people on twitter and instagram who harass like bots every time they make a post. Ive been keeping note of people on twitter and instagram on their posts since the end of may and it seems to ALWAYS be the same group of people

NASCAR has always had this policy of like floating in the gray area and refusing to make any sort of hard-line statement or take any action until they are literally forced (see: requiring the HANS device). And I think they really shoot themselves in the foot because I think people can see through it??

Like it should not have taken Bubba Wallace publicly talking about having to see the Confederate flag for them to ban it from race tracks.

And that's not to say that NASCAR hasn't made a lot of progress in inclusivity (2020 was very surreal to be a NASCAR fan) but yeah, they refuse to make a hard stand and block people from social media or acknowledge that Bubba Wallace is harassed on social media by racist people and they don't do anything to protect him.

I don't think NASCAR realizes that prospective fans see that and it just reinforces this idea that NASCAR is a 'redneck' sport that has nothing to offer. NASCAR doesn't understand that this perspective fanbase, which -- to be very honest, the people that are rapidly becoming motorsport fans right now are young/women/LGBTQ+/POC (and any combination of both) -- they want to know that they will be safe and accepted. But mostly safe.

So yeah, I agree. I think NASCAR has made huge progress but as long as they stay within the gray area about anti-bigotry, i think people are just going to see the hate (and the people responding to the hate) and decide to pass on NASCAR.

like logging into tumblr and hating LGBTQIA+ people is like walking into a gay bar and being mad they're gays there.

This is a queer-ass site, if you happened to be Anti-LGBTQ+ then it's no ones fault but yours that you willingly joined a social media platform that manages to gayer than the gay pride flag itself.

So suck it up and if you are going to complain about it and my post in general, then go wine at someone who actually gives a damn on what you have to say, because I am not giving you the luxury of wasting MY PRECIOUS TIME to listen to your bullshit.

Disney Say Gay Pt 2

Continuation of this post. I wanted to keep doing my part to make #DisneySayGay. It seems like they’re taking some steps to do better but they still have a long way to go. And i know this isn’t much at all, hell it’s probably the bare minimum. But Disney needs to do better. And until they push it further i’m just gonna have to keep finding ways to make Disney gayer. So here’s another batch of queer Disney drawings.

Cass isn’t one for physical affection. But she doesn’t mind when her girlfriend Rapunzel hugs her from behind. Especially when she knows it’s a thank you for the pan-colored frying pan barrette she found. Cass is recolored to mimic the lesbian flag and, while there are hints of the pan flag in Rapunzel i wanted to make sure that was just as prominent as the lesbian colors, hence the layout of the flags in the background, and also a balance of the flags with their respective partner. I was also happy there are so many 2d references because the style of Tangled the Series/Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure is incredible. Thank you @snowqueenofmyheart for suggesting this pair to draw, especially when i needed more ideas and i was so happy to have an excuse to use Rapunzel!

There’s a reason Merida is the only one who can tell her siblings apart…. And somewhere in the distance Fergus is cheering that he has one of each. The latter is what gave me the idea to use Hamish, Hubert, and Harris even though it was hella hard to find decent 2d references for me to use and i’ve never drawn them before (pay no attention to the fact that i obviously can’t draw two eyes the same and that’s why i never draw anyone facing forward). The triplets don’t fit into the gender binary and that’s what makes it that much more fun for them to pull pranks on everyone. After Florida officially passed the Don’t Say Gay bill i knew i had to incorporate gender identity as soon as possible. These are the people the bill affects most; little kids who are being told they can’t explore who they are and, if they already had, they’re not allowed to talk about it. Kids are smarter than a lot of people give them credit for and they know what they are even if they may not have the words for it. They deserve to have the chance to grow into the people they’re meant to be and the sooner they can express that and people can accept that, the better off the kids will be and the better the world will be.

Ryder can’t stop thinking about a certain nice blond man he met in the woods and he doesn’t know why. Kuzco, on the other hand, is secretly plotting all the ways to break it to Ryder, “Oh honey baby sweetie you are so gay!” It was a spur of the moment to decide to draw these two. All i knew was that i could picture Kuzco in all his sass (despite the fact that i could never fully translate that to paper) trying to break that to someone. I ultimately ended up with Ryder because of the support of him and Kristoff as a pairing and, while i love and adore Kristanna, i can totally see it as a possibility. I opted to keep this drawing simple and not change anything since this was my first time drawing both of them, and also stick with the rainbow pride flag which is not only the general flag for the community but also because i decided to leave Kuzco up to interpretation and have Ryder as not realizing yet that he’s not straight. It’s the first flag that anyone can recognize and, regardless of what specifically your identity is, everyone in the LGBTQ+ community has a right to this flag.

Cinderella spends so much of her life working her butt off, romance was never really something on her mind. The closest she ever came was a connection she had with Charming. But that begins to change when she meets Aurora and they hit it off. She wonders if there is something there after all. And it looks like Aurora may feel the same way.... The fact that Cinderella does spend so much time working and never really thought of romance, circumstances aside that she was never able to, felt like a very aro vibe to me. I opted for grayromantic, which in lamest terms means rarely feeling romantic attraction or maybe feeling it under specific circumstances. It’s not necessarily obvious. The idea of that felt very true to Cinderella. And i ended up pairing her with Aurora because i kept thinking back to this one Tumblr post, where the OP was at a Disney park and was talking to Cinderella; when Cinderella asked with OP was there with a prince she said she preferred princesses. Cinderella looked towards Aurora nearby and confessed, “me, too”. And i wanted to do my part to continue to immortalize that post because i love it so much and i still think about it how many years after originally seeing it.

Just a couple of aces being awesome. That’s it, there’s no other story here. I found out that International Asexual Awareness Day is in April and my friend told me, i think that night or the day after. So i went with the two obvious and most popular ace headcannons.

Stitch brought King some flowers on his trip to the Boiling Isles. King is very happy that he met someone who also enjoys causing mayhem and chaos and decides Stitch would be a good partner for him. “You,” he decides, “you will rule this playground - i mean kingdom - by my side!” King is the one primarily in charge, of course, and makes it clear that he would have also accepted proposals of crowns or minions in the form of plush toys. Stitch wags his tail and nods “ii”, meaning yes in his language, and is very happy with where the relationship is going. Stitch is my favorite Disney character, but it wasn’t until my friend and i were spam texting about The Owl House that i just then realized that both Stitch and King are cute and fluffy and i decided i wanted to see them together. And since Stitch is the original cute and fluffy, it only made sense to stick with the original rainbow pride flag behind them. Also, yes, those are the same flowers that Luz magicked up with her plant spell.

I know there’s so much more i can do with these. There’s so much more that Disney can do and they should do. And until they make better on their promise to do better and make strides to be inclusive as well as help protect the LGBTQ+ community, i’m gonna do my best to do this one small thing and continue drawing Disney gay. We deserve to say who we are and see ourselves in the characters we love so much. And if there’s any characters, any identities anyone would like to see, i’m open to suggestions and would like to continue trying. For my queer friends and the community, i give these to you. And please, sooner rather than later, #DisneyDoBetter.

I kept reading about Watermelon Sugar reviews on google and i saw someone saying Harry singing about strawberries is actually him yearning for vagina because strawberry is a code for vagina? And also comments such as “Watermelon Sugar is a song about the actual book. The book is about chasing dreams, defying everything holy and taking a sinful route and Camille gave him the book. His ex girlfriend who he did EVERYTHING with. It makes sense.” I mean??? Why are they selling this narrative again?

Hmm. Not sure if I should answer with facts or discourse. I’ll try both.

A strawberry is slang for a girl who sells vagina for drugs - so that doesn’t fit the happy het narrative. Also watermelon juice is slang for semen, so two can play at that game. In the actual book, the sun, and the watermelons, and the watermelon sugar are a different colour of the rainbow every week. So that’s another gay reference whoever gave him the book.

It’s all grasping at straws at this point though, anon, I mean, “rail me to death”, “I need a king that can handle”, and “a picture of my open throat” and Harry in full ballerina outfit, as well at glittery outfit with plunging neckline, and campily draped over a glitterball - idk. He looked bi’er more androgynous than Bowie and gayer than Elton, it would be pretty hard NOT to see it. It’s a lot.

It’s completely contrary to what’s been sold on the surface, so people will take whatever bone they are thrown, even half a one like Camille.

I think Harry is still closeted because Louis has to stay closeted for a while still, for some reason. I think that is why some people around Harry and some of the promo still plays into the bi/model girlfriends narrative. To keep it somewhat believable that he isn’t supergay for his exbandmate. I think that’s also why we haven’t seen Louis with pride flags yet. He needs to keep it up a little while longer.

When they are both out - it’s going to be a LOT - EVERYONE, not just the woke; openminded and/or LGBTQ are going to understand that “think of how you tasted” means blowjob, that no control is about gay sex, that watermelon sugar is semen, it’s going to be A FUCKING LOT OF knowledge about something that makes some people really uncomfortable and they’re gonna have pictures and receipts to go with it because of all the innuendo we’ve been looking at over the years. I think that’s why.

Do I think it should be out there making people uncomfortable? Hell yes. Do I understand that this goes in stages? I guess I do. I’m impatient with the stunts as you are, but I also think they are slowly dying out, and I think it’s important to remember that, as the scales are tipping in the other direction, things are getting easier on us, and harder on those who believed the het narrative. Let’s try and be understanding about that. Ignore, or kindly point out that LGBTQ+ rights are not negotiable and tolerance is expected of anyone who wants to be part of humanity.

Thess vs the Zero Sum Game

The other day, @true0neutral pointed me at someone going off about how “until Critical Role fixes its horrible track record with mlm, Caduceus being gay is infinitely more important than any other identity he could possibly have and you’re homophobic if you disagree with me”. And how “if Taliesin went any other sexuality with Caduceus, his entire existence would be a bait-and-switch at this point”. Because when Mollymauk died and people were upset over the death of the only confirmed (note the term confirmed) mlm among the Mighty Nein (and I’m not judging anyone for being upset at the loss - just at those who insisted that Matt was ‘burying his gays’), his response was to hug them and say, “They kill us, we just come back gayer”.

It took me a little while to be able to formulate a response to that - at least, one that wasn’t quiet cursing, holding back tears and a polite request for him to please stop flagging up what this person said. I needed some distance and perspective before I could approach this in a sensitive and considered manner.

I think the first thing I should address is the reason my reaction was so visceral - the fact that every time I turn around, someone in the LGBTQ+ community is throwing someone else under the bus. I know that mlm representation in general is important; I just don’t understand people who so strongly advocate for representation for their sexuality (or the sexuality they prefer to see, as sometimes happens when it’s less ally than fetishist - and I’m sorry, but it happens, especially with mlm, and it’s sad and I hate it) to the point where it considers any other option in the LGBTQ+ spectrum to be a sign of bigotry. When they say, “Caduceus has to be MLM because MLM need more representation in Critical Role”, they get praise. However, the reason I didn’t say, “I would really love it if Caduceus was ace - and hey, that doesn’t mean aromantic so mlm could still apply - because asexual people need more representation in general”, is because I’ve said these things before and been called a homophobe every single time. Apparently wanting representation for a sexuality whose existence people tend to either forget or actively deny is a sign that I don’t want to see representation for anything else. I do want to see representation for everybody! Just ... I’m not even allowed to ask for my own without getting shit thrown at me for it, which saddens me.

Then we look at the second reason shit like this upsets me: Caduceus’ sexuality should not be chosen because of the demands of others. It’s one thing when a TV series has characters who could very easily be representative in all manner of ways, but deliberately aren’t because focus groups. Critical Role is something different, something new, and just because it’s viewed by people doesn’t mean we own it in the same way. Taliesin Jaffe isn’t an actor hired to play this character written by someone else in this situation - Caduceus, like Molly before him, and like Percy before that, is a character he created. Putting pressure on a team of writers to include more representation because they’re wrong about losing their audience if they dare to be diverse is entirely different than putting pressure on a human being to make a character that is there for their pretendy fun-times conform to the needs and desires of people who are allowed to watch said pretendy fun-times.

I know that Critical Role is now watched by millions of people. I know they broke hella records on the Kickstarter that will have the animated Legends of Vox Machina out next year. I know all of that. The problem is that things like this have made an awful lot of people forget that this is still their D&D campaign! It’s meant to be fun for them! It’s better when it’s fun for them! They mesh better and have more fun and bring that energy to the table when it’s fun for them! And ‘fun for them’ does not and should not include demands from people who have been allowed to watch their fun that affect personal character backstory. This isn’t just entertainment for us. It’s entertainment for them.

Let’s take a different tack here. You write fanfic for fun. It becomes hugely popular by fanfic standards. You become what, back in the day, we used to call a BNF - a Big Name Fan. You start writing a character as being a particular sexuality because that’s how you see them, even if it’s not the most popular headcanon for the character. Suddenly, you get people coming into your social media and telling you that you need to write this character this sexuality because the community needs more representation for their headcanon sexuality and you’re clearly a bigot if you disagree with that. Just ... I know what I would like to see in terms of Caduceus’ sexuality. However, I am happy to go with what Taliesin decides - on his own, not because of pressure from the fandom. Also, I am not going to invalidate anyone else’s headcanon that way. If people want to see Caduceus as gay or bi, fine, great, cool. I will simply mention that he might love men without necessarily being into sex, or feeling sexual attraction, and insist we can have both. It would be easy for all sides of this to say, “Hey, yeah, he could be a homoromantic or biromantic asexual, sure! We would both get representation that way! I hope Taliesin considers it!” ... but it doesn’t work that way, it never will, and sometimes I wish I could be as uncompromisingly demanding as others in this situation.

I get it, though. Sometimes we feel so marginalised and ignored, often for good reason, that we have to stand up for ourselves and our community, forsaking all others. I just don’t think that’s fair. I want everyone to have representation, because that’s what the world is - a diverse smorgasbord of people, all with fascinating experience. I just wish everyone could see it that way and we could stand up for each other, instead of splitting up the LGBTQ+ community the way we do, fighting for representation like it’s a zero sum game.

Florida Prep Host Club Part 1

(Ouran High School Host Club AU - but gayer)

Ships: Prinxiety mainly (for this part at least)

Note: This AU was based on a post @could-always-be-gayer-2 wrote and I jumped on it. Also I know Florida Prep Academy is a legit place, I didn’t realize that when I was writing this, and this has nothing to do with the actual school. This is also my first Sanders Sides fic so… yeah. (Song used (in bold) is Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldn’t Get Sued by Fall Out Boy). Enjoy! :)

Ok, first day was pretty good. I mean people stared at me, but what do you expect from these too happy rich kids who now share a school with someone poor, like me. I mean, I wouldn’t have been able to even come here had it not been for my academic scholarship. Speaking of, I should find a quieter place to study than that library - who knew, the place where you’re supposed to be quiet is probably the loudest place in the school. I didn’t know my way around Florida Prep Academy yet, but I guessed I’d be learning quickly. If this place is anything like my last school, I better start scoping out the hiding places now.

I put the hood of my hoodie over my head and turned on some music that always seemed to calm me. What can I say? It’s something about dark - aka “emo” - music that really kept my anxiety in check. I guess the screaming was it - too loud for any thoughts to enter.

I turned my music down as I got to what appeared to be a vacant hallway - I don’t even think I remember seeing any classes down here. I paused my music as I approached Theater Room 3, figuring if there were any theater clubs here, they’d be in the first 2 rooms. I pressed my ear up to the door, and couldn’t hear much of anything. So, I opened the door, and went to press play on my very old and outdated iPhone 5s - which was pretty much out of the 16GB of storage it came with in 2014, and only really good for music, messaging (not like I had anyone to message though) and internet occasionally - when I heard 6 masculine voices start to speak in sync, as if they rehearsed it millions of times already before I walked in. It took me a minute to process what they all just said, but when I did, I almost dropped my phone in shock.

“Welcome to the Florida Prep Host Club!” The six people I was faced with all said at once.

“Umm… What is this? This seems like a sad little club,” I mused, looking around and realizing it was just the 7 of us in this large theater room. The one wearing a crown - why? - looked really offended by what I had said, and I could tell I was going to get a dramatic introduction to this club or whatever I walked in on.

“I apologize, you must not be familiar with the concept of a host club. The basic premise of a host club is that lovely people, like me, who have way too much time on their hands volunteer to entertain even lovelier people, like yourself, who also have way too much time on their hands. This one in particular is rather special you see. As the prep school with the highest number of LGBTQ students, we took it upon ourselves when making this club that we would be very accepting of that community, and find most of our hosts and guests are in some way part of the community themselves.”

I felt my eyes widen in shock. How did I not know this was a rainbow school? You probably just expected everywhere you go to be Transphobia City, located in the great state of Homophobia. I didn’t realize the crown guy was still talking, until he was introducing the club members to me.

“Take your pick. We have the hard on the outside, soft on the inside guy, who also happens to be very gay, and bigender, if either of those strike your fancy,” when the crown dude spoke, a guy wearing a sweater and a yellow tie - probably a code for their gender identity of the day - waved awkwardly. “Don’t worry though, they are much less awkward once you have a conversation with them.”

“Wha-”

“Well, if you’re not into them, maybe the lovable, childlike one? Or how about the mischievous twins? Or the calm, cool, and collected, organized nerd over there? They may be straight, but they are very kind.” As he spoke, various people greeted me, and I tried to associate personalities with faces, until I realized I knew 0 of the 7 names I needed.

“Who even are you people!” I shook with nervousness, and became even more on edge when I realized I shouted at all these rich people who could end me in one second. I saw the “calm” one with glasses walk towards me, his blank, unreadable expression setting me off even more, and I broke into a run away from all of them on the far side of the room. I shakily tried to open my phone to put some music on when the shorter, “childlike” member came running towards me, slipping underneath a cautionary hand to race toward me. I panicked and, without looking behind me, I backed up rather quickly, and tripped on a cord that was probably either not plugged in or connected to microphones or something. To my misery, I fell back into a little table that had one thing on it.

Emphasis on had.

I heard a crash behind me and immediately curled into a ball, pressing play on a random Fall Out Boy album - the last thing I had open on my screen, and heard the title track to From Under the Cork Tree begin to play, and felt a cautionary hand on my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see all the host club members looking on edge, but like this wasn’t unusual. They probably all pity you. Because they know you tr- written on my wrist says ‘Do not open before Christmas.’ We’re only liars- they are all lying to you. They just want you to have a false sense of security and hope. I mean it’s not like they have any pride flag- Then I saw it. The whole wall was covered in almost every pride flag imaginable. I look at the other wall, and noticed they are separated by gender identity and sexuality, so you wouldn’t be confused as to where your flag was. I looked to the left and right, and saw my flags. I smiled, and the person sitting in front of me smiled, realizing I had changed my expression from I imagine pure panic to a calmer one.

“Hi there. Are you okay? Are you feeling overwhelmed?” Patton’s voice was calm, trustworthy, nice. I smiled at him, and shook my head.

“I was before, but I think I’m better now. Thanks…” I bit my lip, looking away, embarrassed at myself for my actions. Patton helped me up off the ground, and when I stood up I remembered the crash, and looked behind me. “Oh no… was that valuable?” I turned around, and one of the twins was standing directly behind me.

“Oh no, it wasn’t extremely valuable at all. It was very inexpensive, barely cost us a penny. It also holds zero sentimental value.”

“Yo, don’t listen to them. They’re completely pulling your leg. But yeah sis, this was going to be auctioned off at the Grand Florida Auction for $420,000. That was just the starting bid.” The other twin with blue sunglasses on was now behind me, standing very close to the shattered porcelain. Seeing it all shattered and hearing the price for it made me wince a little.

“And, as you are so rich, we know you’ll have no problem paying us back. In fact, don’t even worry about it! I’m sure there’s no other way to repay us for that cheap glass you broke.”

“Hey, lay off! Give ‘em some time to get used to this all before confusing ‘im.” The sunglasses twin scolded.

“Now, if you would like my input, I would say that as we do not expect someone like you to have that kind of money, as you cannot seem to afford a school uniform. However, there are many ways one could repay debt.”

“Yes! Beautiful work my dear pocket protector! And I have just the idea. You are now officially the Host Club’s dog!”

Oh no, what did I just get myself into…

I nodded solemnly, and then the smallest one came running up to me again. “Yay!! I’m so glad you’re a host with us! Logan! We should all introduce ourselves!” And then I saw someone - Logan I would assume - nod.

“Ah yes. Maybe not all at once, as to not overwhelm our newest host more. However yes, I am Logan, they/them pronouns please. And yes, as mentioned I am a heterosexual, and feel attraction towards females. And-”

“- I’m Patton! He/Him pronouns kiddo, except on the rare days where I might ask you guys to use they/them, but those days don’t happen often.” Patton smiled at me, and I looked around to see everyone staring at me.

“Wh-what’s wrong?” Then, I saw the crown guy come next to Patton, and smirk. “What Princey?” I sneered. I didn’t know what it was about him, but something didn’t feel right, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that he was going to- no, it wouldn’t make sense but of course, when does anything I think ever?

“Princey? I kinda like it. However, my official title is King of the Florida Prep Host Club, but you can call me Roman. He/him pronouns, por favor~” I would never admit that his wink had any affect on me at all. Never.

“So? What’s your name kiddo? At least tell us your pronouns, so we don’t upset you!” Patton spoke, and I shrunk into my hoodie, hoping I could disappear into the grey and black threads. “Oh, I’m sorry kiddo, are we overwhelming you again? Everyone, give the poor kiddo some space-”

“I’m not your kiddo. I’m no one’s kiddo.” I mumbled, turning to walk away. “I’ll be back tomorrow, only to repay my debt.”

Headcanon: The Sexualities Of The Sides

I would like to note that yes, we are completely aware that Thomas is gay and that the sides are basically him, they just represent different sides to his personality/psyche, but this post applies to them as people, not just sides. Because in a way, they all have become their own people throughout the series, each dealing with their own character arc/character developments and we personally feel that they are not just aspects of Thomas anymore. If you disagree with this post and what we feel the sides’ sexualities would be, then that is fine. You are entitled to your own opinion and it is perfectly okay for you to disagree.

Roman - “Hella gay, all the freaking way.” Would be his go to explanation whenever people ask him what his sexuality is - Constantly uses Thomas’ quote of “Could be gayer” for the most irrelevant things - Is so fiercely proud of his sexuality and supportive of those who are sturggling to come out, completely unafraid whenever people try to drag him down for it and more often than not sasses the shit out of them for judging him simply because he’s gay - Would be the kind of person that would establish a religion for homosexual people, partly to be petty with those who use religion to try and condemn homosexuals but to also let those who are religious to practice their religion without judgement - When Pride Parade comes around, he goes FULL ON RAINBOW EVERYTHING, HE’D PAINT HIMSELF RAINBOW, COVER HIMSELF WITH GLITTER AND WEAR UNDERWEAR WITH THE PRIDE FLAG EMBELLISHED ON HIS ASS, THAT IS HOW EXTRA THIS BOY IS - Gets the Pride Flag tattooed on his left pec to show his devotion to the LGBTQ community and his love for the people in it - Always finds it hilarious when people are shocked that he’s gay, practically cackling like a maniac as he says; “Oh honey, I’m the gayest gay you could possibly ever hope to meet.” - Usually goes to Patton when he wants to scream about guys

Patton - The most pansexual person in the known universe - Just absolutely loves everyone, a complete ray of sunshine and love that doesn’t care about what kind of body a person has, only caring if they are a nice person or not - Constantly makes puns about his sexuality, leaving cooking pans around the mindscape, trying and failing not to giggle when one of the other sides picks it up and says; “What is this pan doing out here?” Before practically shouting; “Oh I’m just standing right next to you, what are you doing out here?” or other terrible puns that makes the other’s face palm violently - Dresses up as Peter Pan just for shits and giggles, prancing around the house in his costume - Is very proud of his sexuality, overjoyed that he can love people no matter what gender they are and make them feel as happy as he is to be with them - Can get very passive aggressive when people try to make fun or bash him and other pansexual people, sometimes even getting up so worked up that he get’s up in their face if they take it way too far - Would take in any runaways that have been rejected/disowned by their families and would become their surrogate father - Being the stereotypical overprotective dad when his surrogate children finally start dating or decide to leave and live on their own

Virgil - Originally thought he was asexual but eventually discovered that he was demisexual when he began to show a sexual interest in those that he developed a strong emotional bond with - Being more than a little flustered when he starts feeling physically attracted to Patton, the side that he is the closest to and most open with - He’d be a bit shy to reveal his real orientation with the other sides, a little embarrassed that he had misjudged himself and told others that he was asexual. He would eventually reluctantly tell them, struggling not to blush as Roman teases him for getting mixed up but would be happy to hear their support when he confides this information with them - Would become an outspoken and stubborn supporter of other demisexual individuals that are harassed/insulted by others, whether they are cis people or even some people from the LGBTQ community - Once even went so far as punching a homophobic douchebag so hard that the guy was left knocked out cold for at least 20-30 minutes - Helping out LGBTQ people that struggle with anxiety and other mental illnesses, letting them come over and hang out in his relaxation room to calm themselves down from all their stress - Being the stereotypical worrywart mother figure when he helps Patton take care of his surrogate children, making sure they all feel okay and packing them good lunches

Logan - Ace all the way, asexual and aromantic all rolled into one package - Actually got really concerned and agonised for a long time over why he couldn’t seem to ‘function’ properly like everyone else around him, why he never found himself developing a crush on anyone or feeling sexually aroused by anything that could easily trigger a response in those around him - Virgil being the one to realise Logan was struggling and being the one to educate him on different kinds of sexualities, listing out all the definitions/explanations for each until Logan fully understood that he was asexual AND aromantic - Initially he’d feel a bit isolated, even more so when Virgil, the only other person he knew that was asexual, actually realised that he was demisexual. Logan would have been a bit upset because he felt like he was disconnected from the other sides because he didn’t experience emotions the same way they did, but eventually came to terms with his differences when the others made it clear that nothing had changed in their dynamics just because he couldn’t experience romantic or sexual feelings - Becoming a firm advocate for asexual and aromantic rights in the LGBTQ community, roasting and shaming those that say that they don’t belong within the community simply because they can’t develop certain emotions with hard facts and using his incredible sense of wordplay to make them back down - Getting and proudly hanging the Asexuality and Aromantic Pride Flags in his room, always finding himself involuntarily grinning whenever he looks up at them - Always up for a platonic cuddle with Patton and sometimes Virgil when the latter needs physical comfort - Offering logical advice to Roman whenever he comes to complain about guys, his aromanticism coming in handy with seeing things from a rational point on view

I hope you all enjoy our take on the sides sexualities ^_^ Now, I’d like to re-establish that we are very aware that Thomas is gay and that the sides probably would all be gay as extensions of his person. However, I’d also like to point out that this is a HEADCANON. It is not canon whatsoever and merely our opinions and speculation concerning these characters. If you disagree, then that is fine.
