🫀Two of Cups/lovers + The Tower
Unexpected love. Love that comes suddenly into your life. Whirlwind romance. Romance that hits you like a mfing truck. Sparks are flying (literally look at the tower card) passion is everywhere. Opposites attract. Physical touch as a love language or spending time. Going on adventures together.
💌 Emperor + Empress
Power couple. Another soulmate indicator. Meant to be. You guys just click. Type of couple to start a business together. Together through thick and thin. They always got the others back and balanced each others out. Olive theory. Hallmark movie. Beautiful wedding. Office romance. Rivals to lovers. Passionate sex. Type to have a beautiful family and home.
🫀The Sun + The Moon
Opposites attract. Starcrossed lovers. Fated encounters. Feeling pulled to each other even though you may not feel it at first. Sunshine meets black cat type. Opposite aesthetics think like pink and goth couples. You may be different in some ways but similar in so many others. Playful banter. Enemies to lovers vibes. Couple that perseveres through everything they are put through. Together through sickness and health. Time and acts of service are a love language.
💌 The Lovers + The Star
The love you have been waiting for. Fated lovers. Hopeless romantics. A love that comes later in life. Love that is really like a romance movie. The right person at the wrong time meets again. Long distance. You can tell what the other is thinking by just looking at them. Very very romantic. Type of romance that's in books. Quality time is a love language.

A constant thing that I tend to run into irl, whenever I meet a new person who also has an interest in the occult and/or magic, is the immediate assumption that they are more educated or experienced than myself.
It's like- guys, maybe, just maybe, in the era of the internet and information, perhaps we can give people the benefit of the doubt? That they might be educated? At least until they've shown otherwise?
Not every new person you meet is a "baby witch" and, even if they are, not every "baby witch" is looking for help from some random practicioner they just met.

Father or Prince Christmas, carrying the Yule log, illustration from 1848. The personification of Christmas was part of the centuries-old European folkloric tradition of pre-Christian midwinter celebrations, associated with the Slavic god of the Sun and fire, as well as with counterparts in other religions, and with the burning of an oak log or sapling on each hearth to restore strength to the Sun and enter the period of its rise and the lengthening of the day. From 1780: “Here comes I, old Father Christmas, welcome or welcome not, I hope that old Father Christmas will never be forgot…”

Hi Bloomy! We don't know each other very well, but I wanted to send you a little note of encouragement. I think that we all feel a little bit excluded from time to time. There are days that I scroll my dash and see everyone excited about something and want to join it, but the vibe doesn't quite fit my current mood, or they're talking about something I don't necessarily have an interest in. It doesn't mean that people don't still care for you and want you around.
The interests come and go, people jump from topic to topic so fast it's hard to keep up sometimes. I read a post the other day that compared the dash to one big group chat, and it made me laugh- but also, it's so true! There's a million different conversations happening at once, and it's hard to know when to jump in. Sometimes we just observe, and that's okay too!
You're definitely a recognizable name to me! I'm sorry you're feeling excluded, but please know that there are so may here that care for you, and you're an important part of the community.
Take good care!
i appreciate you so much for taking the time to send me this and you’re so very right! i have a tendency to exclude myself especially lately because i feel like i never have anything to say. hopefully this feeling will pass but im going on vacation soon so maybe a teensy break will feel refreshing ☀️

There's a folk wisdom poem that goes
Oak before ash,
You're in for a splash.
Ash before oak,
You're in for a soak!
The theory is, you can tell how wet or dry your summer is going to be based on which tree comes into leaf first. This year (2024) the oak and ash tree about 100m apart on the same stretch of road in Pimlico, London, are saying that this is going to be a drier summer with just a splash.
Which would be nice because the spring has definitely been a soak!

Wisdom, Torah, Tear, Tarot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner like all my fathers. Psalm 39:12
and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 Rabbi Nachman mentioned:
מִי שֶׁאֵינוֹ יָכוֹל לִבְכּוֹת, יִסְתַּכֵּל עַל הָרָקִיעַ, כִּי הוּא גָּרַם בְּכִיָּה לַמַּיִם. A person who cannot bring himself to cry should gaze at the firmament, because it was the firmament that caused the waters to cry [by separating between the lower and upper waters of Creation]. Enough quoting, I hope that this set the tone and that crying or tearing up is very potent. The image of St Peter's tears is something I wanted to start this post. Wondering if one is stone cold or their heart is not moved by scripture, my only recommendation is not to force it, but find it within yourself and ask the angels, the saints, the prophets, and the gods to soften and wash your heart anew.
Start by a small prayer, a little everyday, slowly your heart will open up and the tears would be of joy, out of control, tears will come running down without control. it is a very powerful sign, but a sign nonetheless and as the door of wisdom opens up the eyes water down. Without water we would become hard, dry, and of course we wouldn't have the gladness, if you think about it the same eyes the burst with tears of joy is the same eyes the weeps with tears of sadness. In this sense, this might seems a very rambling post but I hope that with it carries the weight of this practical teaching. I am not telling you to force yourself to weep or cry but to find it in yourself the knack or the switch that would loosen and soften your heart. In the Sepher Shimmush Tehillim there's a mention of a magical usage of one of the psalms 131 to lower your pride. In that way you open up a secret door or an open secret to this profound door. I recommend Likutei Moharan 175:1 if you're interested in reading more about the kabbalistic meaning of it. If you ever wonder and if you ever hold yourself, am I doing this correctly or am I lying to myself? In the end this is one of the signs on the way, you will see tears bursting from your ear when you read scripture and hopefully you will feel the Joy of Wisdom and the holiness of it. somewhat short post today :)

Vila is the Slavic equivalent of a fairy, usually human-sized. Vile (plural) are always beautiful, eternally young women, with long hair in which lies all their magical power. These enchanting beings of nature can often fly and sometimes enter into brief relations with mortals, who are unable to hold onto them for long. Stay tuned to read more intriguing bits of Slavic mythology in English (and many other languages soon on our website). 🔥

✨ Dance ✨
Sometimes I get really self conscious about the way I stim thanks to my ADHD.
I’m an all or nothing kind of gal, so it’s really hard to contain anything, especially the happy emotions.
It’s a full body experience for me, I feel it from my head to my toes. Self diagnosed with WBS, Wiggle Butt Syndrome, and I just gotta move.
Sometimes even I feel like it’s too much, so I can’t imagine how other people must feel.
But…then again…I’m the only person at work to get other coworkers to come and dance with me, no matter their age or language. When I see the light that reaches their eyes when they smile at me being silly, the shame burns away under the light of a warmer realization.
That being the type of person who is so unapologetically themselves at ALL times and IN all places to the point YOU encourage people to dance, is pretty tender indeed.
So…it can’t be all that bad right?
Don’t stop stimming friends, you’re beautiful 🧡✨

This first image of the hawk moth and vial with a snake vertebrae in it is a necklace I bought recently and decided to wear today.
BOY HOWDY DO I HAVE A STORY TO TELL ABOUT IT
But first, a big SHOUT OUT to the artist, the lovely The Crow's Capture! I had been eyeing her work in a local witchy shop for a while but it wasn't until the Consignor Showcase (it's like a witch artist alley) that I bought something from his shop.
Don't know if you will ever see this but THANK YOU! Your work is amazing and I'm so happy to get the chance to meet you in person!
NOW, about that story! ...
Let me start off in saying that I had a traumatic event last night, thus, I was felling the need to make myself feel better in little happy ways. One way I did this was by putting on this necklace to really bring my witchy look together.
As I am sitting in a car looking at all the trees pass by, naming them in my head, I felt a familiar head tingle and slight ring in my left ear. I have learned in the past year that this is a tip-off of the divine and otherworldly. Then I feel a slight pressure on my head. I could tell this was psychic and not physical. Something was right there on my head! I wasn't really alarmed. More confused. It didn't make sense to have picked up anything. Yet, this didn't even feel malicious in nature.
Then it hit me.
The way the movement, the feeling against my skin and through my hair was something I have felt before. My mind flashes back to years ago of when I was looking after my sister's boa snakes. The way they feel on me. How the way the movement on my skin as they slither around to explore or find the best warm spot. There were times that happened to be in my hair.
I didn't feel like I was in any threat because I'm not.
The vial has a snake vertebrae bone in it.
DID A LITTLE SNAKE SPIRIT JUST BORROW INTO MY HAIR???
I pushed out a thought that "if this is a snake spirit, then they're more than welcome to nest in my hair."
I'm going to have to put this little guy [gender neutral] on Hecate's altar. They both would love that!
