I've been thinking about hosting a Steve/Tony fanworks event/exchange focused on their relationship and scenes in Endgame and beyond (2023 seems appropriate :P), so here's a poll to see how many people might be interested.

January Prompts for YOTP!
Kick off 2023 with a bang and join the event focused on inspiring fanworks all year long!
The only requirement is that works submitted must include a relationship focus (platonic, romantic, familial, threesomes, moresomes, or whatever else!) and be inspired by one of the prompts on our sheet (pinned)
YOTP started as a DC-based event with the idea of focusing on one ship for the whole year, but we want to provide a platform of encouragement for anyone in any fandom (including original work) with any number of favorite ships to participate and consistently post new work throughout 2023

Olaf’s Mansion
Written for @asouefanworkevent
"Hey, boss!" Fernald pushed the door open and waved the latest edition of The Daily Punctilio he was holding. Learning to hold a newspaper with his hook had taken him a while. "Have you seen the review? We were marvelous! You -"
The newspaper slid from his hook and landed on the floor of Count Olaf's tower room amid scraps of paper and empty wine bottles. Olaf was lying on the floor, eyes closed and ghostly pale. His arms were stretched out before him, his fingers bent to claws.
"Boss, why do you keep doing this? We were going to celebrate!"
Olaf didn't move. Only now, Fernald spotted the blood and splinters under his fingernails. All around him, fresh marks had been scratched into the wooden floor. They were sloppy, but he recognized the eye insignias at once.

Hey y'all! I'm hosting a new fanwork event, and it's time to push your creativity!
- How It Works -
You'll get a randomly generated bingo card with the series of your choice. To get bingo, you create a crossover fanwork including the series listed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Voila, easy peasy.

Every participant will receive a custom bingo card
Submit (at least) nine series you’re willing to create for
A bingo card will be randomly generated for you
Share your fanworks during the posting window
- How to Get Bingo -
To win, create at least one (1) fanwork that includes at least three series listed on your card either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Using the card on the right as an example, one could draw fanart, write fic, make an edit, etc. including the characters from Eclipse, SOTUS, and Not Me.
* If two series exist in the same universe (ex: Until We Meet Again & Between Us) then only include one.
–– If you'd prefer a different spin on the challenge, consider the Character Bingo version!
If you don’t have nine series you want to create for, or you just want an alternative version, you can submit a list of characters instead (maximum of two characters per series).

I know it's still pretty early, but I figured now is as good a time as any for a tentative interest check in another Yamato Hotsuweek fanwork event in June? I 'organized' (using that word real loosely lol) one a few years ago that was just me and a friend, but I thought I'd fish around for some interest. June 10th (Yamato's birthday) is on a Monday this year, so we could do June 10th through the 16th, or do it the week before and end on June 10th. Rules
1) No hate speech against anyone’s sexuality (this includes asexuality and bisexuality!), gender, creed, ethnicity, religion, or identity. If your content has any of this because it fits the time period or a character’s portrayal (For Example: Niel, Tommy, etc.), check with a mod to make sure it’s okay.
2) You must be over 18+ in order to sign up for this event.
3) While most forms of Dead Dove content are accepted, we will never permit mentions of pedophilia or the sexual abuse of children at all within this event or any channels of the Discord server. For clarification, this means that non-consensual themes for any character under the age of 18 are strictly forbidden. It also means that any mentions of abuse to children - anyone under the age of 18 - cannot have any sexual undertones or be sexual in nature.
4) You may submit the following as fills (including minimum requirements):
Fan Fic - 300 Words
Art - 300x300 pixels if digital, 3x3 inches (7.5x7.5cm) if traditional.
Fan Vid - 1 Minute
Playlist - 30-minute total listening time, including cover art or edit.
Rec List - Three fanworks with an explanation for each.
Podfic - 1 Minute.
More details can be found in the FAQ.
5) All fills must be centered around Steve. You can create works for ships or for him individually.
Example 1: I only ship Harringrove, so I will complete all my fills using only the Harringrove ship.
Example 2: I do not ship Steve with another Stranger Things character, so I will complete all my fills using only Steve.
Example 3: I ship Steve with multiple characters - Nancy, Eddie, and Jonathan, so I'll do a combination of all. Maybe I'll do 1 Stancy square, 3 Steddie squares, 3 Steve-centric/no ship squares, and 2 Stonathan squares.
These are all acceptable ways to fill your card.

Both Kairos and Sorem were 15 when they first kissed, as they ran away from the city guards. It was Kairos' birthday. So, as a way to celebrate it, Sorem took him to the beach to enjoy the day.

Your mix bag contains four components: Base (a universe), Filling (a trope/quote), Frosting (a pairing/add-on character) and Toppings (a little something extra)!

You only need one item from “Toppings”, not one under each sub-category
You can write a different pairing or different characters that are not listed, we just ask that one of the above be included

Welcome to Corroded Coffin Fest!
This is a fanworks challenge/event that is all about Corroded Coffin. It will take place from July 1st thru July 31st.
Thanks so much for showing interest in this event during this post! If you have friends that you think would like to participate, please considering reblogging this announcement!

Since there are so many events going on (and we love to see it!) we've decided to set a word count range for this event, so the love can be spread around to more events.
GUIDELINES:
Ideas for works include: fic, art, gifsets, fanvids, moodboards, edits, playlists, or anything else you can think of to celebrate Corroded Coffin!
For fics, there is a word count minimum/maximum of between 300-1000 words per drabble. We'll use wordcounter.net to check the word counts before reblogging, so make sure you stick to that range!
Do one prompt, do them all. Hell, do them all twice! It's totally up to you. You can pick and choose what you're interested in. And we're not going to police how you interpret the prompt. Just use them as a jumping off point to be inspired by the boys of Corroded Coffin, and then share that inspiration with us! (Not everything has to be band related, we encourage you to explore other parts of their lives, too!)
Submissions can absolutely be connected to other prompts from the event, or even past works, but should still be able to stand alone each day.
Every morning a new prompt card will go up, reminding everyone of what that day's prompt will be.
All submissions should include any pairings featured, content rating and any content warnings (CW) or tags that you think are appropriate. Please put the prompt you are fulfilling as well, just to keep things straightforward. A sample could look something like this:
Prompt Day 9: The Hideout, Word Count: 666, Rating: M, Pairing: None, CW: Underage Drinking, Recreational Drug Use, Tags: Corroded Coffin, First Gig, Partying, Eddie, Gareth, Jeff, Freak, The Hideout
Also, please consider putting any explicit material under a read more cut, because anything rated E that's not hidden under a cut will not be reblogged.
For the artists! Your art submission must be posted on the same day as the current prompt in order to be reblogged by this blog. Your piece of art (or other creation) must be Corroded Coffin focused, using any combination of the guys, together or solo. Of course, other characters can be included, too! But you need to have at least one of the CC band members in it for it to count for this event. Thank you!
All ships are welcome, as long as they include at least one member of Corroded Coffin: Eddie, Jeff, Gareth & Freak. (Who I look forward to learning the name of from you all, time and time again!)

Put 'em to work. First jobs, side hustles, etc. Surely they've had some other jobs besides being in the band. Tell us about them.
JUNE 15TH - BAND ON THE RUN
Are they late for a gig? Running from monsters in the Upside Down? On a tour from hell?
Same guidelines as the full event will apply.

If you'd like a spreadsheet to help you keep track of the prompts and your progress, here's the one I personally use for other events, and will be using myself for this event. If you'd like to use it yourself, just go to File>Make a Copy and you'll get a version you can edit in your own Google Sheets.

The Clusterous Forest
Written for @asouefanworkevent
The seaweed brushed against his mask. There was no need to wear it here; no one but himself ever went to the Clusterous Forest. But he had grown reluctant to take it off, even when alone.
He stepped carefully across the drained seafloor, following a streak of mud. There were still some damp spots amid the wasteland, even though they were getting smaller and smaller every day.
At first, he hadn't dared to hope that anything besides the seaweed might have survived the draining, but there they were: Patches of slick, black eggs buried in the mud, not from any species he had ever encountered. Now, he knew that the magnificent creatures who had once ruled this land and its legends were still around.
When he moved through the twisting leaves, he was careful to make no sound. Sometimes, the seaweed rustled louder than usual, and a deep, humming sound resonated in the air. Undoubtedly, it had spotted him. The beasts always noticed the humans first. Did it understand he was trying to rescue its children?
His boots sank into a puddle of seawater. He bent down to gently lift the eggs into his container filled with water. The tanks at Colophon Clinic were already waiting. Not all of them would make it. Many had been exposed to the air and the sun for too long. But he had seen the first of them hatch. They had seemed like ordinary tadpoles at first until one of them had bitten Dr. Flammarion's thumb with razor-sharp teeth and sucked his blood. He had shrieked, but Hangfire had laughed, caressing the tank's glass.
"We got it now. You and me, we will take back what is ours."

WINTEAM WEEK
From May 1-7, in honor of Win’s birthday on the 7th, I’ll be hosting WinTeam Week, a biannual event for all types of fanworks in all languages. To inspire creators, there’ll be seven days of prompts spanning four categories (one-word, dialogue, alternate universe, and explicit), and when the week begins, all themed works can be shared under the event’s hashtag both here and on Twitter.
WinTeam Week was the first fanwork event I put together and modded, and to my sincere incredulity, this May will mark its fourth anniversary. It’ll also be the first time it runs with the series canon to serve as inspiration!
The official promotion post including the prompts list will be shared soon, so in the meantime, please reblog and spread the news! 🥦
