And I am back with another consent appreciation post because this one is just... it's??? ????
We start off in the bathroom right? Team is so fucking innocent about this interaction that it's adorable. I mean, Team, baby. Read the room. You know that he doesn't need to use the bathroom.
And then the gears start working in his head after Win: i've come to see you.
And cue the intense sexual tension.
Win approaches Team, his body just giving off massive 'we about to fuck' vibes, and he just waits for Team to react, to back away, to reject his advances. And then...
He kisses him when he is sure that it was okay with Team. But Davi, they always kiss without consent. Listen, I'm a big fan of asking consent for kisses okay, big fan. But it just means much more (imo) to get consent for it when it's in this context? Sure, they haven't even had sex yet, but it still matters, okay?!
And then Win verbally asks.
And he has Team so much so at a loss for words, he pauses for like a good 5-10 seconds to give Team enough time to process and answer him.
And during this time his eyes never leave Team's, which is such an important thing because Team (that i've noticed) can speak words that even god would believe, but his eyes are terrible at it (lying or otherwise). I think Win notices it, because he often holds eye contact with Team when he is asking for consent to have sex with him.
So when Team doesn't give Win any sign of it not being okay, he dives right on it man, in record time.
It was honestly such a sexy ass moment from the consent king. Don't argue with me. Purely raw horny ass consent king was hot.
Bonus:
This was a first for Win. The spontaneous public bathroom sex, I mean. I mean, this boy done guzzled some alocohol for confidence. Adorable ass.

Dean and Wins friendship is so interesting to me, let me explain why:
As we all know, Win says that he’s never had anything that’s truly his, and I believe this sentiment can also be applied to his friendship with Dean.
Hypothetically, just for a moment, what if we imagine that Win and Dean became friends in part because Deans friendship felt comfortable, it felt safe, because he was never 100% there, never 100% in it… and to Win this is what he’s always known, being semi-detached is his comfort zone.
Win knows that Dean has always been searching for something, a small part of his mind has always been preoccupied with this notion that something is missing and he needs to find it.
On some level Win has always known that when Dean finds what he’s been looking for, it’s not exactly game over for their friendship but he understands that he will inevitably have to take a step back, as he will no longer be the primary go-to person in Deans life.
And this is pretty much exactly what happens. When Dean meets Pharm. Everything changes, he starts disappearing for short periods of time, starts passing off swim club duties onto Win and leaving early… after class and on the weekends he’s not hanging out with Win he’s checking in and making plans with Pharm first …
Pharm is, and has always been the most important thing in Deans life. Because of this, Dean was also never truly Wins to keep for himself.
Win is, quite literally, a secondary character in Deans life… and after seeing the absolute terror he grapples with when it comes to realizing he might just be the most important person in Teams life… maybe, just maybe, he’s more comfortable being secondary anyway.

To inspire creators, there’ll be seven days of prompts spanning four categories (one-word, dialogue, alternate universe, and explicit), and when the week begins, all themed works can be shared under the event’s hashtag both here and on Twitter.
WinTeam Week was the first fanwork event I put together and modded, and to my sincere incredulity, this May will mark its fourth anniversary. It’ll also be the first time it runs with the series canon to serve as inspiration!

Hia Win was so scared here, because he thought he finally had something all to himself, what he and Team have is something beautiful and important to him, and then he had to see it almost be ripped away.
And then I can't imagine how hearing this from Team actually took his breath away. Having Team confirm that he also sees their relationship as something special, just between him and Win, and as something that is also important to him. Something to cherish.
Win is in shock that he might have something all to himself and how big that feels scares him. He finally has what he has always wanted, and he is so scared to lose it, that he's willing to not have it at all. Potentially losing Team was too much for him to bear.
