Welcome to Corroded Coffin Fest!
This is a fanworks challenge/event that is all about Corroded Coffin. It will take place from July 1st thru July 31st.
Thanks so much for showing interest in this event during this post! If you have friends that you think would like to participate, please considering reblogging this announcement!

Since there are so many events going on (and we love to see it!) we've decided to set a word count range for this event, so the love can be spread around to more events.
GUIDELINES:
Ideas for works include: fic, art, gifsets, fanvids, moodboards, edits, playlists, or anything else you can think of to celebrate Corroded Coffin!
For fics, there is a word count minimum/maximum of between 300-1000 words per drabble. We'll use wordcounter.net to check the word counts before reblogging, so make sure you stick to that range!
Do one prompt, do them all. Hell, do them all twice! It's totally up to you. You can pick and choose what you're interested in. And we're not going to police how you interpret the prompt. Just use them as a jumping off point to be inspired by the boys of Corroded Coffin, and then share that inspiration with us! (Not everything has to be band related, we encourage you to explore other parts of their lives, too!)
Submissions can absolutely be connected to other prompts from the event, or even past works, but should still be able to stand alone each day.
Every morning a new prompt card will go up, reminding everyone of what that day's prompt will be.
All submissions should include any pairings featured, content rating and any content warnings (CW) or tags that you think are appropriate. Please put the prompt you are fulfilling as well, just to keep things straightforward. A sample could look something like this:
Prompt Day 9: The Hideout, Word Count: 666, Rating: M, Pairing: None, CW: Underage Drinking, Recreational Drug Use, Tags: Corroded Coffin, First Gig, Partying, Eddie, Gareth, Jeff, Freak, The Hideout
Also, please consider putting any explicit material under a read more cut, because anything rated E that's not hidden under a cut will not be reblogged.
For the artists! Your art submission must be posted on the same day as the current prompt in order to be reblogged by this blog. Your piece of art (or other creation) must be Corroded Coffin focused, using any combination of the guys, together or solo. Of course, other characters can be included, too! But you need to have at least one of the CC band members in it for it to count for this event. Thank you!
All ships are welcome, as long as they include at least one member of Corroded Coffin: Eddie, Jeff, Gareth & Freak. (Who I look forward to learning the name of from you all, time and time again!)

APRIL 15TH - TAXED
It's tax day. Do they need to pay their taxes? Is this a write-off? Or, are they just taxed from being on the road? Tax them.
MAY 15TH - GET A JOB
Put 'em to work. First jobs, side hustles, etc. Surely they've had some other jobs besides being in the band. Tell us about them.
JUNE 15TH - BAND ON THE RUN
Are they late for a gig? Running from monsters in the Upside Down? On a tour from hell?
Same guidelines as the full event will apply.

If you'd like a spreadsheet to help you keep track of the prompts and your progress, here's the one I personally use for other events, and will be using myself for this event. If you'd like to use it yourself, just go to File>Make a Copy and you'll get a version you can edit in your own Google Sheets.

Finish What You Started 2024 - Event Rules

The goal of this event is to get things done that you’ve already started. We all have unfinished projects whose incomplete status haunts us. Those are what we want to tackle!
The structure is loose, as this is a multimedia event. While primarily aimed at writers, this event is open to any kind of creative fanwork. Fics, translations, podfics, fanart, animations, cosplay - if you started it and never got it done, it qualifies. There is no sign-up required. I will not assign beta readers for writers, but I can boost requests for those who want them! And I can boost messages of those who would like to beta read.
The mod is a danmei fan mainly, but your work can be any fandom. Maybe something you started before your current fandom excitement took over, or one you keep putting off in favor of compelling new ideas.
Feel free to pass this event info along! The more the merrier!
Further rules and clarifications:
Alt text is very encouraged, especially for boost posts or artwork!
If your work is NSFW, I will only boost it if it has appropriate content warnings. Spoilering images is recommended but not required as long as it’s tagged. Do not letter-swap or abbreviate content warnings. These are so people can mute them as needed. Example: "gore" not "g0re"
Remember Tumblr can mute phrases, but each warning should be its own tag as well as in the body.
Please use genderbend or genderswap for characters depicted not as canon genders. Example: "#NSFW #genderbend #gore”
Please use Omegaverse or A/O/B for that content. The original letter order is a slur against Aboriginal peoples and will not be tolerated here, even with the slashes. It, like other racial or identity-based slurs, fall under hate speech and are thus not permitted.
This account will post weekly morale-boosting messages and helpful resources. Every Friday, starting March 15th, will be Finished It Friday. All the completed works posted that week will be boosted together in a big thread, so we can celebrate your accomplishment!
Halfway-point check-in is April 1st. Final event deadline is April 30th. The last Finished It Friday is May 3rd.
FAQ:
Q: Are original works acceptable?
A: This is primarily a fanwork-focused event. If original work is the only WIP you have to work on, it's certainly fine to work on it during the time frame of the event. If it is posted publicly when finished, you may tag it for boosting.
Q: Are there any restrictions on topics?
A: No, so long as your event # post is properly & fully tagged for content (see rules about tagging above). "Dead Dove" topics are allowed. Some submissions will be 18+. For me, this is less about the content and more about finishing it.
The usual restrictions based on laws and Community Guidelines of course apply, so you may need to tailor how you post to which event space your interacting with. Twitter, Tumblr, and Discord all have their own rules. There are also some topics that are in poor taste to make fanworks around. The event organizer and mods reserve the right to not boost your work if they decide it is rage-baiting or trolling. They are not responsible for negative reactions to your works. Please be respectful of those you share a digital space with.
Keep in mind that when I link to your finished work during a Finished It Friday, it may reach a wider audience than you may be used to.
Q: Are there any restrictions on media that can be submitted?
A: Machine Generated or "AI" images and writing are not permitted. If you are found in violation of this rule, you will be removed from the event. All images, writing, or other works must be your own.
This is a positive, shared space. Do not belittle other creators' medium of choice. Please no fandom/character/ship/creator bashing, and don't berate artists or authors for not being done with something, even if they don't finish by the end of the event. Also, please don't passive-aggressively send this event to the author of an unfinished fic you want to see done faster. 😥 Be cool, respect each other, and keep any interpersonal disagreements to your own tumblrsphere.

Rules/Guidelines
General Bang Rules:
Be respectful of all writers and artists. This is an anti-hate platform and any instigators will be removed from this event.
Joining the discord group is not compulsory. However, please give us an email to reach you. If we are unable to contact you, we will consider your application dropped.
Please be present for all check-ins with the mods. Once you are partnered with an artist, please keep each other updated on your progress as well. If you are having trouble keeping up with the deadlines or any other sort of issues, let all parties involved know so we can try to work something out.
Tag properly- this means works that are considered 18+ or include any potentially triggering elements (eg. gore, vore, character death, non-con, dub con, etc.) must be tagged appropriately. Failure to do so will get you removed from the event.
Posting can be done on the platform of your choice (ex. Tumblr, ao3, fanfiction.net, etc.), you just need to submit a link for the masterpost
You may sign up as an artist AND as a writer, but you may not claim your own fic. You must still meet your deadlines on both sides!
No AI art or fics- this will lead to expulsion from the event.
Do not share your stories or your art outside of your partnered author/artist and beta until the time for posting is set. The discord channels are being set up to allow discussions and brainstorming between authors and between artists, but please keep in mind not to share anything on a public platform.

For Writers:
Your fic must be set within the GO universe or, for AU works, must be centered around the GO characters.
No RPF please. We all love Michael and David but we would like to keep this in the GO universe.
Writers cannot solicit art from artists outside the event or who did not claim their fic until after the work is posted.
Small and Big Bang Qualifications
Small: 10-20k words
Big: >20k words
You can and are encouraged to sign up as a beta reader, you CAN NOT beta your own fic.
The story can be almost any sort- AU’s are loved, ship and gen are both welcome. This is a pro-ship event; just remember, as mentioned before, to TAG CORRECTLY
No reader inserts. Crossovers are acceptable so long as the focus is on the GO characters.
Co-authors, teams, multiple authors are allowed
Bears repeating: no AI fics allowed
For Artists:
Any visual arts medium is acceptable- original illustration, manips, cover art, videos, etc.
Minimum 1 art piece for a small bang fic (10k-20k words) and minimum 2 art pieces for a big bang fic ( >20k words). No maximum limit
Artists may withdraw from the challenge at any point up until artist claiming date. If you do not claim a fic. then we will consider you withdrawn at this stage.
Artists are encouraged to also sign up as pinch hitters- ie, someone that is willing to make more art for another fic should an artist drop out, but this is by no means mandatory.
NSFW art must be tagged as such. However, please consult with your partnered author and adhere to their requests before creating explicit artwork.
You can post your art on any platform, but please ensure that, in the case of multiple art pieces, each one has a separate link that can be embedded into the posted fic to allow a reader to view the art within the fic
Artists cannot offer their services to other writers taking part in the event for as long as the event is running- you can only create for your claimed author
And a last time: no AI art allowed.

Event Prompts and Rules

This is the first event I'm hosting on this blog, and I'm super excited! To ensure everyone has a good time and knows what's goin down, here are some guidelines;
• This event will be held Nov. 13 - Dec. 1.
I will continue to post non-event requests at this time •
There will be a list of 18 prompts to choose from. Each is a different nonverbal way to show love/affection. For this event, all prompts will be written for romantic relationships. Prompts may be requested multiple times and can be (x reader) or (x character)
Please specify who is doing what in your requests. For example; "Verosika doing prompt 5 for her s/o?"
I know this blog is Helluva-Boss Centric, but there are other fandom's I write for, so if anyone is interested in Hazbin Hotel or The Arcana, feel free to request characters from those fandoms as well.
Regular rules still apply for this event- that means there are certain characters I won't write for. For reference please see my pinned post, or feel free to send in questions.
I can write up to 3 characters per 1 prompt. Be aware, the more characters you request, the shorter each scenario will be. Poly requests are the exception to this rule
• If you have any questions or concerns about anything, please don't hesitate to send them into the inbox or DMs •

Dark and edgy content is both allowed and welcome, but please use content warning tags. I'll leave it up to the authors to decide what they think should be tagged.

No entries concerning current or recent tragedies.
Please be mindful when using historical settings and when choosing which to use.

Event Rules:
Type of Content to be Submitted: Art, fanfiction, edits, poetry, amvs, headcanons, manga colorings, playlists, meta, and pretty much anything else is acceptable. Be as creative as you would like to be!
Event Tag: Content can either be submitted to this blog or you can use the tag #gratsuweek2023 in your first five so that we can see it. Please tag @gratsuweek2023 on Tumblr and @gratsuweek2023 on Twitter in your post so that we reblog/retweet it. (Do send us a message if it is not shared by us in 2 days.)
All work must be original and made for this event and should not be part of an ongoing creation. Standalone one-shots from established works are acceptable. Any content that is submitted will need to be your own work. No plagiarism!
Both romantic and platonic content are welcomed as long as they are centered around Gray and Natsu’s relationship.
Any NSFW must be tagged appropriately. If your content contains any triggers please tag them (ex. self-harm, depression, gore, etc.)
Traced and stolen work is not accepted and will be reported unless it was reposted with the owner’s consent.
We will accept late entries.
You can submit as many entries as you want. It’s a fun event so participate at your own leisure.

How do I share my work for the week?
— Please tag your posts with #saorarepairweek and they will be reblogged.
When is the event taking place?
— May 6th - May 12th, 2024!
What kind of content and creations are included in the event?
— Anything! Fanfics, fanart, edits (including gifsets, graphics, etc), cosplays, meta posts, memes, etc. If you made it, share it!
What ships are included in the event?
— Any ship currently under 50 works on AO3 in the main Sword Art Online tag. You can filter by relationships and see how many works are posted for any ship.
— Ships in the alternative series’ are also allowed, including GGO Alternative, and any alternative side-stories.
What ships are NOT included in the event?
— Anything with over 50 works currently posted on AO3.
— Kirito/Asuna, Kirito/Eugeo, Kirito/Leafa.
— No incest.
— No adult/minor pairings. If you have questions about a ship (eg: Lisbeth/Silica) please send an ask for clarification.
— If you have questions about anything, please send an ask.
Is NSFW allowed?
— Yes. Go nuts.
— All NSFW content must be properly tagged and given the appropriate rating. Please use community labels if posting on Tumblr.

2. the free day token is a one-use token that allows you to ignore the event prompts for a day and create whatever you feel. this means that if there's a day you really can't find any inspiration, you can use your token and go wild, as long as it fits the event's halloween theme. please tag your post with #free day token so we know when reblogging;

All works must star Nedcat, side parings are allowed but this is primarily a NedCat event!

no hate, no sliding into people’s comments with insults we’re all here for these two not for an art contest. You will be blocked and have your submissions removed from the event or otherwise receive a ban until the event is over.

Prompts don’t have to be completed in order and don’t all have to be completed! There’s 35 of them with 5 categories scattered to ensure that everyone can have something new and interesting to write

As a reminder, all participating works must be human-created. Any machine generated or AI content is not allowed, and will result in removal from the event spaces. This applies to previously-posted content of ongoing works you are working on for the event. Non-event works are not affected by this rule. If you have questions or need clarification, please speak to a moderator or the event runner.

Update: Wondrous Tails of FFXIV will no longer be restricted to original characters & self-inserts!
This decision has come after a fair bit of discussion between myself and several friends who are fellow creatives and had more experience when it comes to fandom events like this one.
Due to the awesome candid feedback from them (alongside a fair number of people who had requested it in the post-event survey from 2022) I've decided that the restriction stifles more creativity than it fosters.

FAQ for Halbarry Secret Santa 2023
How does this work?
See the timeline here!
Participants submit 3-5 prompts and some other information, which is sent to another participant on November 22nd. Participants post their gifts between January 15th and January 21st, 2024 to the Ao3 collection, and/or to Tumblr using #HalbarrySecretSanta2023
This is a digital fic and art exchange. The only information that will be shared with your gift giver are your Tumblr/Ao3 usernames, and your prompts/preferences entered in the sign-up form
Is this exchange only on Tumblr/Ao3?
We’re limiting it to Ao3 and Tumblr this year. If you’d like to participate without a Tumblr/Ao3 account, please email the mod and we’ll talk options!
Participants may post their creation on any additional platform that they want, but please make sure to post to Tumblr/Ao3 so that your recipient sees it!
The Gifts:
We have a 500 word minimum for fanfiction, or a clean sketch for fanart. There is no maximum requirement, but please limit yourself to what you can complete within the time frame
If your art contains text, please include that text in text form either in the body of your post or in the notes
Gifts do not need to include all prompts/characters/pairings/genres listed. We asked for multiple prompts so you would have options and a sense of the recipient’s preferences to make something you’ll enjoy creating and your recipient will enjoy receiving!
Content Restrictions:
This exchange does not allow content containing incest, pedophilia, or nonconsensual sexual acts, either as gifts or as prompts. It’s a holiday gift exchange, guys. There are other events for making/requesting dead dove content
All participants are expected to respect your recipient’s wants and do not wants. NSFW content is permitted for 18+ participants, but only if the recipient requests NSFW content
Whatever content you create, please tag appropriately. If posting on Tumblr/a platform other than Ao3, please make sure that your post falls within that platform’s guidelines and post a link to the full piece, if necessary
Check-Ins:
We’ll be contacting everyone on January 6th, 2024 to see if everyone’s still doing okay, or needs assistance/extension/whatever else! Participants are welcome to check in with us ahead of time if you will not be available
If you do not respond by January 8th, 2024, you will be dropped from the exchange and may not be allowed to participate in a 2024 event
Extensions:
Let us know ASAP if you need an extension so we can let your recipient know when to expect their gift!
Dropping Out:
Life happens, and this exchange shouldn’t create additional stress! You do NOT need to give a reason why you’re dropping out, but please contact us ASAP so that we can assign a pinch hitter and your recipient still receives a gift
If you drop out without contacting the mod, you may not be allowed to participate in a 2024 event

Are you having difficulty coming up with story ideas, need an extension, want clarification from your recipient about a prompt, or have a burning question we didn’t address here? Please be kind in any interactions with other participants, including when receiving your gift. This is meant to be a fun event both when creating and receiving a gift, so please appreciate your Santa’s time and love put into making a gift specifically for you

Yandere-daze´s 3k followers celebration
Event period: 22. November - 30. November
Hi everyone! As I had announced earlier, we´ve hit 3000 followers today which is really huge for me! As I was starting out, I never thought that there would be more than a handful of people that would be willing to read my writing but here we are!
Your support and nice comments kept me motivated to keep going and I´m very glad to have all of you here with me!😊
As thanks, I will be doing a small celebration to commemorate 3k followers!
For the first time in months, requests will be open once more! Please carefully read the information below before sending in an ask!
During the time from the 22nd to 30th of November, my askbox will be open to requests once more.
I´ll be taking requests for headcanons ( up to two characters per ask) and the Yandere Tarot prompts will be making a return as well!

You can attempt to send in a request for a scenario but they usually take a lot of motivation and effort for me to do so it´s very likely that it will end up being deleted.

Rules
As stated, please only send in headcanon requests with two characters at most! You can send in several asks but it´s easier for me to write when there is a limited amount of characters per ask.
I will also take requests for the Yandere Tarot prompts again! I know that they were very popular last time so I hope you´ll enjoy them this time as well :D

As stated, I´ve done the tarot asks once before so make sure to check the masterlist before sending in an ask to see if I´ve already done your ask before:

For the tarot prompts, please request only one character with up to 3 prompts per ask. It´s easier for me to write that way ^^
Sidenote: I´m not too fond of / comfortable with the Empress prompt so I would like to avoid it if at all possible. It can be done if you happen to include it but you probably won´t get a very in-depth or enthusiastic response in that case. I hope you understand!
As always, I reserve myself to reject a request for any reason and there is no guarantee that every ask will be answered, depending on how many are being sent.
I can also warn you that I´ll probably prioritize answering enstars asks because I´ve fixated on it right now so it´s easier for me to do ^^

EVENT INFO & RULES
1. Feel free to interpret the prompts however you wish to, the mind knows no bounds and I feel like limiting to the 'exact prompt' would be somewhat like caging our imagination.
2. You can use multiple of the prompts that you get on your card in the same work- even in the same chapter if you would like to!
3. You can merge this event with others, just be careful to check their rules too. It being okay for this event doesn't make it okay for all of them.
4. Please make sure to write down their rating clearly! (General Audiences, Teen and Up, Mature, Explicit)
5. Warn the readers/viewers to what they will be against if you are writing dead dove or anything that would be tagged as explicit or mature- if it is not appropriate for those below the age of 18 there will be those who might be triggered by the contents of it.
6. Use the tag #seasonaldelighstbingo along with the tag of the ongoing eventand also mention @seasonaldelightsbingo on tumblr for a reblog (don't forget to also add in the ship in the tags, the fandom and the warnings)
7. There is no time limit and you can complete your card whenever you like, however each card has a different time period assigned to it and I won't be reblogging your individual works if you don't post them during that time period.
8. Two cards (at most) for each participant.
9. All media forms and fandoms are welcome (and so are original works).
10. Be respectful to everyone else, and feel free to ask me anything if the rules weren't clear or if I forgot anything (or if you just have anything to ask).
