the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

Ashe Winters has a tumblr account where he posts a lot of deep insights about the Suckening and why the people who like the new animated series adaptation of it should read the original books because they have a lot of details the show left out. William has been obsessed with the indie horror movie Blood in the Bayou since he was like 12 and Kian Stone was his bi awakening. Dakota still knows Gillion’s ‘last sin’ speech by heart because he hyperfixated on the Riptide comic books as a young teen. Vyncent has played the video game Apotheosis many many times and cried when he accidentally got the bad end the first time he played through it

i know you could explain it all with rule of funny or ''they did it on purpose as a gag'' but

sans has the uncanny ability to read your face like a book and know exactly what you're thinking with a glance. he also constantly misses papyrus' jokes and treats them like genuine questions.

papyrus talks to you over the phone and somehow manages to conceptualize where you are and what you're doing from your tone alone. if, however, you gave him a picture of asgore and toriel, the only way he could tell them apart would be by their clothes.

tone-deaf sans/face blind papyrus. they're both autistic in perfectly mirrored ways so when they talk they keep missing each other by a hairbreadth

I just had a weird dream where there was a popular video game series set in a post-apocalypse world, about a group of girls who have been transformed into some kind of nightmarish cyborg abominations that looked like someone crossed an antropomorphized motorcycle with a xenomorph. and they killed people for fun.

anyways with the new release the company responsible for the games was like "we listened to the public outcry about the lack of positive femininity, and made some changes to better represent women! listening and learning! <3"

the game was the exact same as the one before. the only change was that they turned the nightmarish scooter-abominations bright pink.

I would like to say I don’t understand why this shit keeps happening, but I actually do understand it way too well. It just makes me so sad and angry. Especially on a site where people find and make their communities.

So much of this is about ego, and the people with power wielding that power to protect themselves and failing to protect others with it. A mere hint of negative sentiment towards them is harassment that is dealt with immediately and harshly, but a dozen complaints about discrimination or threats or bullying take ages to process and frequently come to unsatisfactory moderation decisions.

Whatever the sentiments of the people running this hellsite, you are always welcome in my corner of the internet, wherever you find it. You are all wonderful, and we all deserve to feel that part of this space belongs to us and those to whom we can connect.

Transphobia has no place on tumblr, period. Or anywhere else in society for that matter. It is that which should be being rooted out.

I feel like everyone portrays F/Os as these romantic, perfect all around lovers, and while that's all well and good! I prefer F/Os who are flawed, who don't always say the right things. Who can sometimes be petty or selfish. F/Os who have a habit of seeing conflict as a contest on who can talk the loudest, instead of a conversation. F/Os who run out of patience sometimes and have to go cool off mid-conversation, even if they're right. F/Os who struggle to communicate their emotions.

I find comfort in the idea of a relationship where mistakes like that are allowed and given room to breathe. A relationship where, no matter what the conflict is, the walls eventually come down. Maybe it takes hours, maybe days until you're both calm enough to work it out. Maybe it takes several conversations to solve it, but each end in Hey. I love you. I'll talk to you tomorrow.

You're not perfect, and neither is your F/O. That's okay. That can be beautiful, too. There's not a hug that's more comforting than the firm, tearful one after reaching mutual understanding. Knowing that you didn't mess it up too much, you didn't break things permanently. You couldn't if you tried. They missed you... and you've got some serious affection to catch up on.

I was just possessed by a vision of Duke crashing all of jaykyle’s dates accidentally. the first time, he just happens to be hanging out with Jason when Kyle visits Gotham, and Kyle invites him out with them instead of kicking Duke out (like you’re supposed to do with younger siblings but Kyle wouldn’t know that because he’s an only child so it’s not his fault).

And then Duke just keeps popping up, all the time, in comical ways. Jaykyle are getting milkshakes in Brooklyn? Duke was already hiding under their table before they even sat down (why was he there? Who knows. He claims it was for a case).

Kyle takes Jason to R’ann for a vacation and they’ve been on the planet for all of 5 minutes before they see Duke in handcuffs because he somehow managed to get arrested on a whole different planet from the one he should be on. jaykyle dealt with that and decided they’d just have to keep him on their vacation. Batman was hysterical when they got back a week later because he literally had no clue how Duke had vanished off the face of the earth. Duke had selfies of him (with jaykyle at every romantic event they’d planned) on a different planet though so he didn’t really care
