Oh shit, I had not heard about that.
I would like to say I don’t understand why this shit keeps happening, but I actually do understand it way too well. It just makes me so sad and angry. Especially on a site where people find and make their communities.
So much of this is about ego, and the people with power wielding that power to protect themselves and failing to protect others with it. A mere hint of negative sentiment towards them is harassment that is dealt with immediately and harshly, but a dozen complaints about discrimination or threats or bullying take ages to process and frequently come to unsatisfactory moderation decisions.
Whatever the sentiments of the people running this hellsite, you are always welcome in my corner of the internet, wherever you find it. You are all wonderful, and we all deserve to feel that part of this space belongs to us and those to whom we can connect.
Transphobia has no place on tumblr, period. Or anywhere else in society for that matter. It is that which should be being rooted out.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! And Any other holiday on this day! Hopefully there’s no drama on your dinner table and the turkey is properly seasoned and no werid alien dish on the side! Hopefully the adults /act/ like adults for one day and for the little kids to stop screaming for once! Hopefully no one is too stressed out in the kitchen and everyone helps out today!
Also today is my birthday!!! It was really hard to plan it this year with soooo many last minute changes but everyone is doing the bare minimum (which is more the usual!) so I’m grateful for that!
But most importantly I hope everyone has a good day today and sorry for not posting lately (again😭)

No but hear me out.
What if we as fangirls created a book made from fan girls to fangirls. Like you guys all know the feeling of watching a movie or a tv show and the ending being so dissatisfying that you just want to bury yourself in fanfictions. Or the tv show got cancelled and there is no ending whatsoever, or your favorite character got killed off.
My solution:
A book where from Fangirls experiencing the same pain an alternative ending is written. Sooo you buy the book and then you watch the hobbit for example and fuck thorin, Fili and Kili die but you can’t live with that, so you pick up the book: “the encyclopedia for Fangirls” or whatever we gonna call it. You search the content table for the hobbit alternative ending and you get instant relief. After that you go on ao3 or whatever and get more relief with more fanfictions. But right at the moment, instant relief. We ignore canon.
And then we do it for every freaking fandom. We collect the suggestions of Fangirls and in cooperation of Fangirls write what they want and we make it fucking real!
You want the doctor to be cuddled? You want thirteen and Yaz to kiss? Write me a suggestion it will be in the next edition!
You want civil war to not have happened? You want Tony stark to live forever?
You want Elsa and Anna having the childhood they deserve?
You want Crowley and aziraphael kissing and getting together? Hit me up!
And all of that in a book! Like in a real fucking book that you can pull out of your bookshelves and read whenever you need it! With a beautiful cover full of fanart!
Let’s go on with the thought process. Imagine it being a hit. Like Fangirls all over the world suggesting what they wanna read. Building up a community where people write: hey I have read this fan fiction from this author and I want something similar for real. We collect that information and make a freaking database out of all the fanfictions! So after the end of the text written in the book there is a QR code sending you to a website where all fanfictions with similar tropes are saved. No painful search anymore just all fanfics you want in one place and theeeeen, you see a fan fiction and it’s missing? Hit me up imma put it there!
Moore thought process… fanart! Not only fan fictions but fanart! You wanna see a specific fanart? You want to have a book with FANART? Yea let’s do it! Imma put it in.
And the best thing: you can hold it in your HANDS! ITS A REAL BOOK FOR FANGIRLS AAAAAH!
