The Only Exception

Summary: George was never the most touchy feely person, but when you get Ghost-touched, he can't help but come to terms with his feelings.

A/N: this was kinda fun, it was really nice to have a bit of motivation to write again! sorry for the wait, but i hope you all like it <3

George wasn’t exactly the most touchy feely person in the world, but he was most definitely the caregiver, the mum friend of 35 Portland Road if you will. He didn’t tend to mask his disappointment or grumpiness when he had to look after Lockwood or stress clean when he’d done something reckless. But when it was you, he did it without a second thought - almost subconsciously he would trail after you and make sure you had everything you needed.

"Alright, Lucy and y/n take the left side of the building, George and I will take the right side. We'll meet back here in half and hour, agreed?" Lockwood said as he adjusted his rapier belt as everyone assed the map of the abandoned shipping warehouse "Remember, we could be looking for two sources tonight," George added in "try not to let yourselves get distracted." "Yes boss" you say as you shoot him a salut and chuckle "We'll be as quick as poss, just try not to get lost - we all know what Lockwood's sense of direction is like." Lockwood's eyebrow shot up at the comment and Lucy couldn't help but laugh too "She's not wrong."

When you answered the call for the case yesterday morning, it just sounded like your usual 'abandoned warehouse by the thames that the owner is too afraid to go into because of all the loud and perilous noises they hear'. You wrote down the address and agreed to check out the premises as soon as you could before handing the note to George for further investigation.

"What did they say? Just disturbances?" George asked "Just disturbances." you nodded in confirmation "They mentioned about how sometimes they hear stuff in multiple parts of the building, so there could be a chance of more than one visitor or even a poltergeist?" "I'll head to the Archives and see what I can find out, thanks y/n" George said with a smile as he took the note, your fingers brushing with contact. Your breath hitched and he quickly stood to grab his orange coat and headed to the door.

George came back later that evening looking rather defeated by his research, explaining that there was very little about the warehouse other than a couple of workers had died due to a fire and getting trapped. "Hmm, sounds absolutely thrilling" Lucy said grimly as she sipped her tea at the kitchen table, but Lockwood had a devilish smile as always "Let's go and check it out tonight, what's the worse that could happen?" "Uh, that we'd be under prepared" "Or we could die" both you and George chipped in, but Lockwood merely swatted away the comments.

"George, how 'bout you knock up something for dinner, y/n can you head out and get some more supplies? And Luce and I will pack up the bags" Lockwood said as he rose from his chair "mm, sounds like a splendid idea" you reply with a sarcastic tone, one that made George chuckle.

The evening went as smoothly as it ever did before a spontaneous case. Lockwood was over confident, George was frustrated and underprepared, while both you and Lucy were just disappointed and exasperated. It was often like this when it came to cases, Lockwood was always overzealous and eager to get any case done as soon as possible, while George (and everyone else) always preferred to spend a little more time preparing, especially if they had more than one visitor to deal with.

You finished packing up the duffle bags with any new equipment and prepared to leave for the case. George continued looking over any last scraps of information on the location while you fiddled with the hem of your jacket sleeve. "We'll be fine, don't worry about it" Lockwood said as he entered the living room where the team were waiting "We have everything under control, we're fully prepared, everything will be fine!" he shot everyone a charming smile and pulled on his coat. "If you have to repeat how 'fine' we're going to be, usually it means we won't be" George grumbled as you all left the house.

When you and Lucy headed off through your side of the warehouse, you instantly felt the temperature drop around you as you got further into the building. "Hear anything?" you asked Lucy, your hand resting on your rapier hilt, the hairs on your arm beginning to stand up "Crackling, I think? And faint screaming" "Oh lovely. Tonight is going to be a joyous." you sigh, eyes constantly looking around for any clue to a source.

Before you knew it, you heard the soft *brrb brrb* sound of your electronic watch. Half an hour had gone by already, and the warehouse was still bitterly cold. There was hardly time to head back to find Lockwood and George before the two of you felt malaise creeping into your bones, the rapier feeling heavy on your belt. "Lockwood! George!" Lucy called in a sing-song voice as you finally willed yourself to move from your position, placing down your duffle bag to retrieve your iron chain.

Not even a minute had gone by before the boys were by your side, but it felt like an age. "It's definitely over here, you can see the flame patterns all over the walls" you point out to them as you pull out a pack of gum, the awful smell of smoke and metal that had accumulated was starting to get to you. "Any sign of a source yet?" Lockwood asked but you both shook your heads "Right, let's get searching then."

It didn't take long for the visitors to make themselves known, which explained the suddenly heavy presence of ghost-fog and icy temperature. Just like you and George had suspected, there was two of them, both covered in horrible burns and peeling flesh. "What are you getting Luce?" Lockwood asked "They're angry, that's for sure. Nothing specific, just a lot of pain." Before Lucy could get anything more, one of the Wraiths dived for them, only to stop just before the iron chain that laid on the ground. Suddenly you realised you and George had subconsciously taken ahold of each other when the wraith charged, only to quickly separate from each other.

After some time fighting the visitors, rapiers dancing in the air and chains cutting through Other-light, George had finally managed to secure a source, but as he did the other Wraith charged at him. Without even a second thought, you pushed George out of the way of the visitor before it made contact. "Y/n! What the hell!" George screamed at you before seeing the ectoplasm covering your shoulder. "Shit shit shit. Lockwood! Lucy!" George cussed as he rummaged for a syringe in the closest bag to him "George please tell me we have adrenaline still" you groaned as you held your arm "Here! Hold still y/n" George said as he brought the adrenaline syringe over to you, panic and worry clearly present in his voice. George injected the shot into your arm and suddenly everything went dark.

When you awoke, it took you a second to figure out where you were, before slowly realising you were home, in your bed, back at 35 Portland Row. You sat up, looking over to your bedside table to notice a glass of water, painkillers, and a note 'Take these when you awake, I'll bring you some food at 12. George x'. You tried to stretch over, suddenly realising your shoulder and upper arm were completely stiff.

You slowly traipsed downstairs to the kitchen only to find George busying himself with the stove. “Hey” you said, though it came out as more of a croak “Hey, why aren’t you in bed? I was gonna bring you some food” George replied, a look of worry still present on his face “it’s okay Georgie, I’m fine” “You’re clearly not fine, y/n. You got ghost-touched. You need to rest.” The comment from George confused you. You don’t remember getting ghost-touched? “I don’t quite follow?” you let out a confused laugh, to which George let out a sigh and walked over to you. He hesitated at first, but then gently pulled aside your shirt collar to show your icy blue shoulder.

George's fingers were blazing hot against the skin of your shoulder. "Bloody hell y/n, you're freezing. Hold on, let me find out the hot water bottle" he said hurriedly, quickly looking through almost every kitchen cupboard before finding it. It was only then you quite realised how cold you really were, quickly rubbing your arms together to prevent shivering. "Here, this should help" he said with a pained smile as he handed you the filled hot water bottle and a cup of your favourite tea "Thanks Georgie... don't forget about the stove though.." you nodded towards the oven "Oh bugger!"

"Alright, here's a blanket, a fresh hot water bottle, and a hot chocolate. Do you need anything else?" George asked as he placed a tray with biscuits down on your bed, your fever caused by the ghost-touch had gotten worse as the day went by "Sit with me?" you asked, though it came out more as a whisper as you gave George a soft smile. "I-, uh-, yeah sure" George's cheeks began to grow pink under his glasses as he scooted onto the bed next to you.

The rain softly pattered against the window, which you were grateful of as it soothed your pounded head "Lucy told me what happened on the case, that I pushed you out of the reach of that Wraith" "mm" "I would do it again, just-so-you-know" you told him softly, your words mumbling together as you rested your head on his shoulder. Initially, George tensed up at the sensation, being someone who wasn't very touchy feeling or quite aware of his feeling for you, but he quickly calmed and leaned into you "I hope you never have to, the less I have to look after you the better" "You say that but you love looking after me really" you poke him playfully and shoot him a devilish, slightly delirious smile.

George let out a gentle sigh "No, you're right. You're kinda cute when you're sick" he said as you fiddled with the bed sheets, slowly taking one of your hands in his. You looked up to meet his eyes, which had completely surrendered to you "Just promise me you won't do it again?" he asked, his eyes scanning your face "Oh Georgie, you know I can't do that." His hand slowly reached up and brushed the stray hairs out of your face "No, I guess you've always been a bit reckless." Before your feverish brain could process what was happening, George cupped the side of your face and gently pulled you into a soft, gentle kiss. Your breath hitched as your lips parted, cheeks burning red "I-, I'm so sorry, I don't know what came over me-" George began to say but you cut him off "If you get ill now Karim, you can only blame yourself" you teased before you wrapped hands around his neck and pulled him down for another kiss. You couldn't help but smile into the kisses, his hands gingerly tracing over your bruised arms and hips, your fingers teasing as his curls, all of which was making your more dizzy than you already were. When the two of you finally broke apart, George looked almost as delirious as you felt, his lips puffy and hair slightly scruffier than usually, but with the softest smile he could've given you.

"For once, being ill might actually not be so bad" he chuckled.

OH MAMMA MIA LET'S-A GO

So the way I ship it is a mix of love and kind of bullying from King Boo. Yeah he's very very fond of his human and wants to spoil him and posses him but DAMN is he going to do everything to make him squirm and squeak in fear. It's just too cute. If he can't get him in a frame, he'll just have to torture him in the most delicious ways.

At first he wanted to dismiss Luigi as weak (just a coward! Just beating him through sheer luck!!) but after his third defeat he insists on Luigi's prowess. He can't have been beaten by a wimp, can he?? King Boo managed to capture Mario three times and yet Luigi always beat him, ergo Luigi is the badass around here.

In a couple of my AUs, Luigi has a kind of appeal to ghosts. VERY strong appeal. Is it his fear? His aura ? His cute little face when he's surprised? In any case, Boos and ghosts are all after Luigi to scare him, yes, but they also desire him. Very much. Yes, in that way.

In one of these AU, a divergence from LM3, King Boo manages to corner Luigi at the beginning of the game before Luigi can flee through the laundry chute. KB is about to trap him in a frame but then he smells that delightful fear, and notices it's not the only emotion Luigi is feeling right now... Very amused, King Boo changes the rules : Luigi wants to free his family? He'll have to find King Boo at the top of the hotel...but instead of fighting each floor boss, he'll have to seduce them. Oh, Luigi is going to be very tired by the end of the night.

Why does King Boo never use his telekinesis on Luigi ?? Especially in LM3, when he uses it on almost everyone? Well, my theory is that either King Boo likes to play with his food, either Luigi has some kind of immunity/resistance to Boo powers. Which makes King Boo very frustrated

Listen. LISTEN. I have never been particularly into the tickling "kink". Just wasn't my thing. But then I got into this fandom, and mamma mia. Luigi is just. He's so sensitive and reactive, he NEEDS to be mercilessly tickled by someone, and with this pairing? Oh boy. King Boo's tongue. You know it's all kind of prehensile and tickling, and once he holds you down, it's all over. If his telekinesis doesn't work on Luigi, it's fine. He has a LOT of Boos who can hold down Luigi, and that's without counting all the other ghosts with grappling abilities or very long and dextrous fingers...

But on the softer side, King Boo loves to flaunt his wealth and taste, and Luigi happens to be a perfect sugar baby if you're kind to him. His face is such a delight when he discovers a comfy place or a cool-looking room or tries on new clothes, and he blushes so prettily when lavished with attention, King Boo can't help but spoil him. Especially after making him go through "torture" (the sweet or spicy kind).

They spend hours talking about art. Sometimes their tastes match perfectly, someone they call each other uncultured swines and Luigi is two inches away from turning the poltergust on King Boo.

I need to stop myself lest this post becomes an entire essay, but please keep asking me more about stuff like my theories on Accidental Ghost King Luigi, or that Thing he Does With the Tongue, or the Horny Version of Luigi's Mansion 3.

Bio: Known as the Exo Hunter Crimson-9, he spent time with Cayde-6 on and off the field in order to learn his tricks and skills for the field. He usually sticks to the Hunter groups due to sharing more in common with them. From time to time he works with other classes when he's looking to make quick glimmer or resources for his purchases.

He enjoys music and food more than any exotic he's gathered.

Especially from a hole in the wall diner in the city run by an Exo and Awoken couple, known popularly as The Grease Bucket. They make the thickest, greasiest, and tastiest burgers and chili-cheese fries in the whole city.

As for Crim's taste in music, he has a collection that spreads down to the oldest traces of music, before the Traveler and Golden Age. He loves old school jazz, death metal, dubstep, and for his usual meditation sessions: Japanese Hot Spring Music.

Crimson-9 has a troubled past, involving the Red War and his time being lightless. Eventually his team ended up leaving him behind during a raid on the moon in the Hive sector. His only way to cope with the memory is his music, and meditation.

He hates Hive, with a seething passion. Anything that resembles the Hive, causes his mood to sour. Once he leapt onto a giant Hive Knight Boss and stabbed it in the head over and over till it fell, just because his team took too long to kill it.

The time he spent wandering the Hive zones after his fireteam abandoned him caused him to have nightmares of his time down there. Some nights it's just him being chased by cursed thrall, but the worst is when a curse of Hive decay slowly overtakes his body. He picks at and cracks off all the growing decay till he sees his face fall apart into a hideous ugly screaming thrall.

He had a strong silent type of demeanor, usually because he is listening to his music or focused on the battle. He'll open up if you offer food, a clone of your music for his collection, and his favorite drink at the Glimmer Glint Bar, which is a Sweet Wish Stasis, named after a famous Hunter who used Ahamkara-Stasis based weapons on their battles.

He had a secret nerdy when he's happy and philosophical side when he feels melancholy about the entire situation of the Earth.

If you talk to him about cats, music, food, weapons, or animals then he's ready to talk your ear off.

He's Pansexual, and a very tender lover. He knows which buttons to press, and loves seeing his partners reactions. From a cute moan to a squeal, it makes him feel warm when he hears his partner is being satisfied. If you treat him well, show some interest, and try to keep in contact often he'll stay loyal regardless of class or rank.

The only challenge you'll have when around him, is not dying from how critical Bun.3 gets when he's being himself.

(Part 1)

"OH wow! I never seen so many Hobies and Miles in one place!" Pavtri admires the group after Gwen called him over their watch to come back. Pavtri was living in his fanboying world, he spotted baby Billie and baby Gonzalos. "OMG! Look at the cuties! Argh, so freakin' cute!" The young wavy haired ravenette fanboying all over the couples. "Oh, I heard about these two," He points at Hobie 138c with Miles 43.

"And them!" Looking at Hobie 138d with Miles 1015 who were blinking at Pavtri.

"And- of course them!" Hobie 138e with Miles 1019 already linking with their arms close by their waist.

Gwen giggles seeing Miles 1610 and Hobie 138b arching their eyebrows at their friend. They knew their friend is a massive Punkflower fan, always cheering on the famous Punker and Artist Spider-man being together. So seeing him claiming he knew all about other Hobies and Miles being together is a bit overboard.

Miles 42 grunts, "That's creepy as fuck, man!" He crosses his arms with scowl on his face.

"No! I run a Punkflower blog!" Pavtri said, it was hard to tell what expression he's making since he wore his Spider-man mask. By the looks of it, he's pouting the way the mask is looking a bit distorted. "This is normal! Ohh! I heard of these two!" He pops in the middle between Punk Miguel and Mariana, "You two been pretty popular on my blog. There's a whole debate if you guys fall under Punkerflower or Flowerfang!"

"Flowerfang?" The Hobies mutter to their partners being confused.

The Mexican punker tilted his head to the side seeing this short tiny man, "Qué? Foul-pang? Mariana, qué este chico esta hablando?" He looks at Mariana being confused.

The Spider-woman giggles in amusement, "Flower-fang, Miguelito! It's a ship name... Es una especie de apodo para parejas."

"Quick recap on ship names!" Pavtri randomly turns on a holoscreen from his watch to show the group. The holo-screen shows names with symbols, "Miles ship name would be Flower. Gwen is Ghost. Hobie is Punk. Me Chai! So when you get Miles and Hobie together, their ship name is Punkflower or flower punk, tehe!"

"So..." Miles 1019 smack his lip, "Miguel would be fang? Flowerfang?"

"Hehehehe, ain't that a bit suspicious. Considering our boss is like freakin' fifty years old!" Mimi 1015 giggles at the idea.

Miles 43 shook his head, "Ewww.... isn't that low-key weird?"

"Well... if you put Miguel 928 with Miles 1610 together when they first met. That's freakin SUS!" Pavtri began, "But we have Miguel 970, who's the same ages as us! So he's safe!"

Miguel 970 still look lost while Mariana laughs, "I think he would fall under Punk." She saw the way the Hobies were scrunching their noses being a bit disgusted with the idea of Miguel 970 would take their beloved Sunflower. Hell, they would start an all out world.

Hobie 138b wraps his arms around Miles 1610's waist, "I refuse. There's no way I support that!"

"Bae, Pav is just explaining about ship names. I highly doubt there's people that are-" He carefully eyes on Gwen and Pavtri who were trying to avoid his glaze, "Oh my god, there is!"

"I mean... you know I read whatever Pavtri sends me." Gwen casually said with her hand on her neck. "Look those fans are feral with some toxic shit."

"I mean... I dabble a bit of Flowerfang- NOT that I read anything terrible I always having a strict rules about fanfics being sent to me! And if they are dark and angst, I send it to Gwen!" Pavtri said, "I have to support my fanbase! They love my reviews!"

"Esto chico esta loco, Mariana." Miguel 970 wasn't sure what was going on, but the way Miles 1610 look horrified and Hobie 138b being disgust... it was already a sign that being called a Flowerfang was not a good idea.

Mariana laughs, "El es chistoso."

"But you're a Punkflower blogger?" Hobie 138b said.

Miles 1610 stare at his boyfriend then at Pavtri, "Wah-what? No forget that. Pav! Gwen! You two read fanfics about me and Hobie?" The two Spider-heroes awkwardly nodded. "Wow, that's so fucking creepy! Like-WhAT! You know fanfic writers write everything- and I mean, everything!" This felt like some sort of invasion of privacy!

"I mean... is it?" Gwen asked, "They are fanfics."

Mimi 1015 spoke out loud on her Smartphone, "And then, Hobie passionately look into Miles' honey eyes. Their hearts pounding against their chest as they felt their sweaty glistening bodies touching, they're almost there- So close that they felt their souls becoming one. The other Miles were peaking over, "Wait, I wanna read it. It sounded good!" Miles 43 said out loud.

"Yeah, what about my big throbbing Johnson?" Hobie 138c grins widely being playful. The punks laughs along at the joke.

Hobie 138d tilted his head, "Hey, it's not hurting anyone! It sounds kinda intense."

Mariana covers her mouth burst out laughing, "Hahahaha, my stomach hurts." Miguel 970 being surprised at Mariana laughing so much. What was funny? He's confused.

"Honestly, that one is pretty good. The writing is Mwah, chef kiss." Gwen admits.

Miles 1610 felt his face warm being super embarrassed, "NO! That's so freakin weird, Gwen! Do just imagine me and Hobie doing that? We are friends!"

"I mean.... not you two specifically. I just read with my own version." Gwen hums, "Look, Miles... it's not bad. I swear read a few and you'll like it."

"Yeah, luv. This isn't that bad. Caught a lot of stuff you do like you giggle when I nibble your ear," Hobie 138b was leaning over to peak at Mimi 1015's smartphone to read a paragraph, this caused Miles to yelp.

"No, bae! Don't admit to anything!" He freaks out, "St-ahhp!" He pouts cutely at his boyfriend.

"But darling, this is pretty accurate on us." Hobie 138b smirks proudly, "I do say I am a bit of a romantic."

"Hobie!" His Miles whines.

Miles 42 gags, "Ew, there's kids here!" He holds Billie 1610, who was sucking her thumb being bored.

The little Gonzalos were being held by Miles 43 and Miles 1019. They were having their pacifiers staring at the adults talking. "But this is so funny! And this got a lot of views." Mimi 1015 giggles with her sparkly stilettos nails shine when she cover her mouth from maintaining her giggles. "We all know it's Miles 1610 and Hobie 138b, because it could never be me!"

"Or me." Miles 1019 snorted, "I like it rough."

"It's very cutesy for my taste." Miles 43 admits.

Pavtri took out his notebook taking notes, "Huh, you don't say?"

"Pav, don't write that! Why do you have smut fanfics on your blog?" Miles 1610 felt embarrassed.

"My fans like it! It's a safe space for us, Punkflower fans." He giggles.

"Weirdo." Miles 42 scowls with disgust.

Gwen chuckles, "It's either you get Pav for loving Punkflower or PunkProwler, Miles."

"ECK! Like hell!" Miles 42 shouted in anger.

Billie 1610 pouted, "Bad word! No, bad word."

"Awe, I'm sorry, mi bebé!" Miles 42 snuggles her with a kiss on the cheek.

Mariana laughs at them with amusement, "Well good thing there's no fanfic of me. Imagine me with a Hobie or a Miguel- as if!" Miguel 970 looks at her being surprised by her words, almost hurt by the comment.

"Ohhh...." The gang made a grimace expression on their faces, even the Hobies felt that like a knife cutting through them.

"Huh, what is it?" Mariana blinks confused.

"What do you me your not with anyone! I thought you were with Miguel 970!" Miles 1015 got into Mariana's face being in shock. "You guys been flirty and always together!"

"Because we're friends!" Mariana link arms with punk Miguel, "Right, Miguelito!"

The rest of the gang were gagged by the answer. Miles 1015 spit like she was a cartoon character that drank water and choked up, very animated like. Miguel 970 nervously almost sad that he's been friend zoned. "Mariana, your so cold..." Miles 43's voice left out of his mouth.

"Huh, why?" Mariana asked still being clueless just like a Miles, so naive and not aware of the hints she got from Miguel 970. She giggles, "You guys are funny. Me and Miguel are friends. You know there's another variant where a Spider-man Miguel marries a Mariana and has a Gabriella.... and that was a crazy one."

Miguel 970 said, "So, you see me as a friend?"

"Of course, Miguel. You're amazing as a teammate."

"Mariana, shh. Stop talking, you're making him feel bad." Miles 1015 whispers with her voice shaking as she saw how depressed Miguel 970 looked.

Mariana was about to say something until Lyla appeared from her watched, "Mariana, Miguel is calling you. Your friend is here and she bump with Miles 2020."

The female variant gasps, "She's here! Why she didn't text me? Okay, I'm on my way." She saw that Miguel sent her the location of Billie, then had her eyes on Miles 42, "She's here."

"No way! For reals!" Miles 42's eyes wide almost from disbelief.

"Who?" Gwen asked.

Mariana gave a small smile, "Billie! She's from Earth 1613, and is a Spider-woman!"

Miles 1610's eyes widen, "What? She's here!"

"Yup, I thought Gabriel was supposed to keep her company for a bit..." Mariana rub her chin, "and I did send my location to her... maybe she gotten lost."

"Mari, you have to take me to her. I want to see her! You said she spotted a Miles!" Miles 42 looks very worried as he holds Billie 1610 in his arms.

"Wait, why is that a bad thing?" Pavtri asked.

"In her canon, her brother Miles die in front of her... he was her Uncle Ben then her dad die." Miles 43 softly said as the Spider-heroes shifted being unease by their reality. It is difficult being a Spider-hero, when they have to look back from the loss of their loved one. "Her brother was everything to her... so you can see where it can affect her."

"I only brought her here to show her the possibilities of other multi-worlds and she did freaked out when she saw Miles 1048." Mariana rubs her neck, "But I didn't think she would come by without Gabriel."

"Who's Gabriel?" Miles 1610 asked.

"Oh, you guys don't know! He's the son of Miguel O'Hara from TRN Earth 660 and low-keys has a crush on Billie." Mariana giggles with delight, "it's cute seeing him always protecting her. I guess, that's where the O'Hara gene still stays. Always protective, always there being patient, and clingy!" The gang looks at Punk Miguel standing behind Mariana being protective and clingy.

"Ahhh..." They agreed.

Gwen always teasing, "You don't say? I always find the O'Haras a bit temper mental... and snarky."

Punk Miguel scowls at her. "And they are the jealous type!" Mimi 1015 chimes in. "Right, Miguelito!"

"No! I'm not like them!" He scowls.

Hobie 138d pitched in with a sly smirk on his face, "Oh really? Then you should be okay with a Spider-man flirting with Mariana which remember Mimi, how that guy saved Mari and they went out for coffee." Punk Miguel released is talons getting mad jealous at the thought, some of the gang jumped by his action and the Hobies were smirking with amusement.

Mariana wasn't paying attention as she saw her baby brother and Miles 42 asking her, "Where is she?"

"She's not that far. From the map it looks like she's by the daycare! Miles 2020 must still be with her! I wonder how she felt seeing his triplets."

"TRIPLETS!" The gang shouted. "What do you mean triplets?"

Pavtri gasps, "Miles 2020, wait I heard of him..." Then he squeals, "OMG, he's from the Omega Miles!"

"OMEGA MILES!" The Hobies shouted as they became alerted.

"Yup, he has his pups with him. The triplets!" She saw the gang looking way too in shock even Miles 1610's and Miles 42's mouth dropped from disbelief. "Wow, you guys haven't met Omega Miles? He's so sweet and amazing! I'm so in shock! Am I the only one who's meeting all these variants? I even met an Alpha Gwen!"

"Sweet." Gwen smirks widely then pouts, "No fair. Every time I try to find my gang they are never around."

"Mari, you said Miles 2020 have triplets... so that means he have an Alpha, right?" Hobie 138b asked with his voice sounding so serious.

"Yeah..."

"So... who's his Alpha?" Hobie asked being very serious, the rest of the Hobies stares at her being curious.

"Why don't we go meet him? I'm sure it's more fun that way than me saying it." She giggles, "Or are you guys chicken of seeing Omega Miles being with a Peter or Miguel or Gwen?" The punks became jealous as they carried Mariana like a royal highness, "Hey! What are you guys doing?"

"Let's go see Miles 2020, luv!"

"Who cares about him? I wanna see Billie!" Miles 42 shouted at them.

"Me too! I wanna see her." Miles 1610 follows behind them!

"Hey don't leave us! I wanna be nosy, too!" Gwen shouted as the rest of the gang follow.

Punk Miguel quickly grab a hold of Mariana having to glare at the Hobies, "Fuck off, carbonse!" He snarled at them with his fangs out as a warning.

"And she said they're just friends." Miles 43 snorted.

"Pavtri nodded, "I know, right. This is totally the Naive and Bad Boy troupe! I'm low-key loving it, because will they or won't they?"

Miles 42 yells at the Hobie almost lecturing as Billie nodded with her fingers wagging at them. "You jerks! This is about Billie. Not your weird fantasy with an Omega Miles! Why do you care so much of him and his triplets? So what if he got with a guy that wasn't you guys?"

"Yeah! No Hobies!" Billie nodded.

Miles 1610 said to them, "Come on, guys. They're all in the same location. We'll see Billie and Miles."

Mariana get back down, "Thanks, Miguelito! Yeah, come on. I don't want her to wait too long." They all left toward the location, "That reminds me, I'm going to contact Gabriel. I'm sure he's lost, too."

Somewhere in HQ a Spider-man wearing all navy blue with red spider designs, swings from one section the next. "Where is Billie? Ah, no mames! I thought I told her to wait for me!" He fumes having his masks on.

"Oh hey, Miguel!" A Spider-man swing by him.

"I'm not pinche Miguel! I'm Gabriel!" He shouted in anger.

Then a group of Spider-men swing by, "Hey Miguel!"

Gabriel let out a frustrated sigh, "I knew, I should've update this suit." He kept swinging until he got a message from Mariana. "Oh, so that's where she's at! I swear, Billie needs to listen to me or at least tell me where she's gone." He spoke to himself as he head to the location to find his crush.

Thanks so @sherry-a-h for giving me the idea.

And what an idea it is. I've only done this one other time, but that was to replace the previous post not add to it. But this time I am.

It's been some time since I made the previous post and a lot has happened. Not only in the show, but out of it as well. And since lumity has been canon for a little while, I don't have to go into another in-depth look at what lumity is because we can see it for ourselves.

However,

This time instead of finding ships that have similar stories and dynamics (like White Rose and Diakko) we're going more with ships that have the same spirit as lumity or something adjacent to it. Not exactly lumity, but you'll still have fun.

Sunset Shimmer & (Sci)Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls

I've talked about these two in my other blog so I'll try to keep it brief.

Equestria Girls is a Friendship is Magic spin-off where there's a portal to another world where the ponies become girls. Sunset Shimmer left the pony world in pursuit of power but was shown the magic of friendship by Twilight Sparkle. In another movie, she meets the alternate version of Twilight Sparkle that the fans call Sci-Twi for Science Twilight Sparkle.

The two are at odds at first. Sci-Twi wants to study magic, and Sunset Shimmer wants to protect her friends from forces Sci-Twi doesn't understand. When Sci-Twi uses magic to transform to Midnight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer is the one that turns her back to normal and takes her under her wing. The two become inseparable after that with Sunset Shimmer even being a bit protective of her new friend.

Now for something a little more recent. Sorta.

When Webby and Lena first met, Webby thought that Lena was just some cool older kid. Turns out, Lena is actually the living shadow of Magica DeSpell. Cartoons are weird. Even so, the two quickly bonded with Lena even turning on Magica to protect Webby. Webby then did all the research she could to restore Lena from the shadow realm.

After Lena's restoration, Webby always assured Lena that she was good and good enough. And Lena would try to master her powers to protect Webby from magical threats. Webby even has Luz's complimenting powers: "you beautiful idiot" "you snoring angel"

And for the newest ship.

After moving to Brighton and being cursed by a ghost, Molly McGee decides that as much as she loves her new ghost friend she also wants a human best friend. So Molly goes on a camping trip with a few girls from her school and even though they all have good qualities, Libby is the only one who has that X-factor Molly is looking for. Libby asks if they wanna be friends and it goes from there.

Molly and Libby hang out together and through mishaps learn more about each other. Eventually, they get so close that Molly has to tell Libby about her ghost friend Scratch to save their friendship.

Libby loves hanging out with Molly and can even tell when something is bother her, even if she won't tell her. Molly also loves Libby and is seen to be very important to her, especially in the visuals of the song "It's a Lose-Lose,"

What value does Izzy provide to Edward that not only elevates him to First Mate status, but makes him difficult to replace? As in, something he does that other people who might vie for that position can't or won't do?

We know Edward doesn't think of Izzy as a friend per se, even though he does turn to Izzy for some types of intimate conversation. I find it highly unlikely they were ever lovers, and they definitely aren't by the time we meet them in S1. Izzy has no people management skills, which isn't great for someone whose job is to manage a crew. Ed delegates the more lethal kinds of stabby jobs to Izzy, and for sure Izzy is a skilled fighter with no apparent qualms about killing. But any number of pirates could take on the job of go-to murder guy (Fang, for one), so that's not what makes Izzy indispensable.

I think the answer lies in the exchange between Izzy and Edward at the end of episode 4. Izzy is in the process of packing up to leave, and apologizes to Ed for having previously called him an insane, unpleasant shell of a man who is merely posing as Blackbeard, and a twat. Ed responds with, "You were right, man. About all of it."

And for what it's worth, Edward probably does feel like he's guilty on all charges: his mental health has not been great (neither has Izzy's, but that's a separate discussion). He's been grumpy (snapping at Izzy for trying to get him to focus on a plan for survival, or for not magically divining what the whole clouds thing was about). And he's been shuffling through his existence as Blackbeard, bored out of his skull and feeling like a ghost.

So perhaps the biggest value Izzy provides is his willingness to tell Edward off. The rest of the world sees Blackbeard's flag and flees or surrenders in terror, whether or not Blackbeard is actually on the boat. Finding someone who will get in his face and call out his bullshit probably IS a difficult, nigh impossible, proposition. Even Fang is scared of direct confrontation with Blackbeard ("the boss is back? oh, shit!").

Izzy isn't gentle about his callouts, but a huge swath of people, especially folks who have been stewing in a violent tox masc culture, don't respond to being called out nicely. You HAVE to yell at them to get them to listen. Edward dismisses Izzy's quieter nagging about coming up with a plan, and only starts to act concerned when Izzy goes full "fuck off."

Once Izzy is off the ship, Lucius is the one who takes up the mantle, berating Edward for being a dick about the treasure hunt in episode 7. Edward initially responds to the callout with a threatening tone, but when Lucius holds the line and continues angrily ranting at him? Edward shuts up and listens, and takes the rant to heart. [Side note: in episode 4, when Blackbeard divulges his brilliant plan to escape the Spanish, while the rest of the crew is praising him unequivocally, it's Izzy and Lucius who tag team to point out he got the date wrong.]

This dynamic also explains why Edward internalizes Izzy's episode 10 tirade so quickly. Even though Izzy is WAY out of line in that case, speaking from bitter jealousy instead of genuine concern, it's a familiar pattern for Edward. His instinct is to take these kinds of confrontations seriously. In this case it wasn't deserved, but he's already feeling abandoned by Stede and is now afraid of losing Izzy as well. Since Lucius was the one who talked him into pursuing Stede in the first place (heartbreak ahoy!), and Izzy tried to stop him (could have avoided heartbreak maybe!), he decides Izzy is going to keep the job of telling him off ... after they have a little discussion about Izzy's tone, of course.

Serious answer though, probably it's just a crush, because not only did it end the misery I put my readers through (it's a slow, slow, slow burn, folks), but I think it's the only one of my fics that ends with a proposal (I think. I've written 40 of them, you can't expect me to remember them all, can you?)

Do you get hate on fics?

Yep, every time @mrsbsmooth reads one of my unfinished drafts and gets mad that it's not finished yet /j

But actually, surprisingly, no. Either I'm not relevant enough for the haters to notice me, or everyone's scared of me.

*sigh* I started a collab on a oneshot before but my cowriter ghosted the fandom. It was a Kassam x Felix undercover spy ETL with Chelsea as a crime boss and it would have been hilarious

I mean, obviously Henrik/me. I mean, Henrik/MC. But if we're talking 2 LITG characters, then Henrik/Lucas is OTP

What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Technically this is not applicable - I have every intention of finishing my 3 active WIPs (Whiskey & Wildflowers, Amelia Can't Win, and Luc & Hen's Sexcellent Kinkventure), and I prefer not to start new chaptered fics until I finish other ones (which often means my fics are in the idea stage for literally years before I even start writing them).

That said, I have a few chaptered fic ideas in various stages of production that I'm not sure I'll end up writing. idk if those count as WIPs (one of them is half-outlined and I've jotted down a few paragraphs, but I have to rework it)

What are your writing strengths?

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I've been told I'm good at pacing, and I've been told I'm good at angst - but what strengths make me good at those things are, I don't really know.

Oh, wait. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I rock at those.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Dialogue, for one. My biggest struggle in all of my fics (and what I find extremely daunting when starting something new) is dialogue. I never know what my characters should talk about when it's not distinctly plot-related, especially group scenes. Some people are so good at writing fresh dialogue that just breathes so much life into the characters and displays their personality and keeps the reader engaged, and that's something I'd love to do better (both in fics and in real life, tbh - I'm a wallflower)

Secondly, character development. I've literally written over 500k words for one of my OCs, yet I hardly know who she is outside of the villa. I know her struggles and much of her backstory, but I don't know what her hobbies are, what gets her up in the morning, what she likes to eat, what she listens to, etc. I think this also plays a part in my dialogue struggles - it's hard to write characters if I don't know them

Third, and related to number two, is character arcs/relationship arcs. Sure, I can come up with a storyline and write it in such a way that it's enjoyable. But what makes a story extra compelling is the character arcs, watching the characters grow and learn things about themselves and seeing how that meshes with another character and their flaws/strengths and it all comes together like puzzle pieces. I'm not good at that, but I want to be

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

My favourite love interests are Swedish and Portuguese 🤣 and yes, I love having them slip into their native tongues every once in awhile, or use terms of endearments, etc. I try to be as accurate as possible and give the readers a glossary (though sometimes I'm lazy with that), but it's also usually just little things that you can kind of tell what they're saying from the context

Love Island the Game. Other than RC, it might be my last, too

Happy Friday all! I need a mood boost and y'know... I was thinking, we love putting Woodrow through even more suffering around here, so why not imagine some happiness for him!

Therefore I decided to write out some cozy loving headcanons for my favorite rabbid crackship. The story I'm writing is about how they meet and come to know each other, fraught with pining and angst, but below are some imaginings of them as an established couple, nice domestic fluff and why I think they'd make such a good pair. Enjoy some soft artsy bunnies today if you would like!

I present to you.... Happy Phandrow Things!!

Phantom is very well off due to being a celebrity musician, and still has plenty of funds after losing his singing prowess. Woodrow is.... a poor poet who has always barely scraped by (have you seen his house?). So Phantom loves pampering his darling in every single way he can, buying him things, taking him to fancy restaurants, going to plays and musicals and operas with him. Woodrow is kind of dazzled and overwhelmed by all this as Tom was really excessive about it at first, and eventually it evens out as they both realize they enjoy the quiet moments with each other most of all. (Phantom is still pretty indulgent and they still go out together very often though; Woodrow used to basically never get off Palette Prime but now he does.)

Also they don't NEED to go out to have a really nice meal, because Phantom is actually a talented chef (as we can assume from that one puppet video)- this was mainly a new hobby he took up to cope with the damage to his voice, and now he loves cooking for his poet who can't cook for himself, because Woodrow cooking is. A bad idea. A really bad idea.

Due to his spooky ghost nature, Phantom would be basically nocturnal if not for having had to adjust to other people's schedules. As it is, he usually stays up really late and sleeps really late into the day and his peak energy hours are twilight into around midnight. Woodrow meanwhile is very attuned to nature and is an "up when the rooster crows" type of person. However he also stays up pretty late due to just having insomnia and difficulty sleeping so he doesn't sleep all that much, period. Or he used to not, anyway. Having someone to fall asleep with has helped in this regard so he has been sleeping better since being with Phantom.

On that note, they often do stay up late discussing art and poetry and writing and theatre until one of them falls asleep, 90% of the time it's Woodrow first falling asleep in Tom's arms, who carries him to bed and takes off his glasses etc and snuggles in with him.

This would go for pretty much anyone you'd ship him with but Phantom is totally the Gomez Addams "kiss up the arm and cover them with kisses" type, but because Woody has such long arms and is a long boy in general he has a lot of real estate to work with here-

Phantom has a massive collection of different pet names in different languages, different ways to say darling/beloved/sweetheart etc and is always changing it up. For Woodrow he especially likes calling him variations of "my lucky one" or "my good luck charm" in different languages (i.e. portafortuna in Italian). He is constantly telling Woodrow how lucky he considers himself that he gets to be with such a wonderful poet even despite the misfortune that may happen to them, and this is very very validating to Woodrow, as this is a total reversal of how he had always viewed his existence.

Phantom is very resilient due to his spectrality and just being a big tough boy (he was a boss, gosh dang it!) and in fact can still make himself totally invulnerable with enough effort. So he is indeed a very ideal person to put up with all the caveats that come with dating a jinxed person, and can usually laugh off the way he himself is affected, and also help protect and heal/nurture his poet from things happening to him. Woodrow sort of sees him as a guardian angel. An Angel of Music, you might say!!

Woodrow doesn't think of himself as a good singer, but this is largely based on when he was younger and a normal-sized Rabbid, when he had a different voice that he wasn't very fond of in general. He has a deeper voice now but has never really tried to sing much with it, and Phantom coaches him to become a better singer. This at first helps Tom deal with his own damaged voice as he is able to pass a bit of his skill onto someone he loves. When/if he is able to get his voice back, they duet; it's not as stunning and impressive as him and Bea's but it's very lovely all the same.

Oh I have a LOT of thoughts on Linebeck but I'll try to just get some major points down bc it would take me ages to spill all of my thoughts on him.

(plus i do have two general headcanon posts [ 1 2 ] a post abt headcanons about him being autistic [ x ] and a weird post about his coat [ x ] as well as pretty much anything in my linebeck tag with my excessive tagging of some reblogs and my original posts + whatever writing or fanfiction i have done/will do with him included so. bonus reading for headcanon-y stuff or a look at how i portray him)

Linebeck is... a good fucking character. He's probably my favorite character period, and has been pretty much soon after I got Phantom Hourglass. He feels unique compared to other Zelda characters as a companion character who offers less direct support and is more just of a constant character who changes throughout the course of the story and is... well, a companion, not really a helper. He falls more in line with the types of loz characters who are more rude or antagonistic towards Link, but develops out of that, and also technically counts not only as a boss but a final boss, putting him as the only non-villain character to be a final boss, so uh good for him.

Just within the context of the games he's got a great design and a great theme (which is only heard about two times before the final boss but has a recognizable enough motif for it to be noticed in the final boss theme) and an interesting role in his game and just has one of the best character arcs and one of the most interesting places within the story as a whole. Linebeck's arc is very... natural in how you see his attitude change within both story beats and in his overworld dialogue, but at the same time seems like it stutters when he deals with Ciela's criticism and upholding his own reputation, I think his character arc is very fascinating if you consider the entire context of his character and what he interacts with, since a majority of the characters he directly interacts with seem to deny the idea that he's any more than a useless coward.

The fact that pretty much the rest of the major cast in Phantom Hourglass has basically no faith or respect for Linebeck is so fucking fascinating to me. This guy has to be doing so fucking bad over the course of the game. In relation to Ciela specifically, an idea I've been thinking of and trying to work into some of my Phantom Hourglass oneshots is that having to be around and interact with her so frequently wears Linebeck down pretty badly as the game goes on.

This guy is undeniably mentally ill and that's also something I have a specific fic planned out for but that's probably not going to see the light of day for a while. It's basically five chapters of Oshus being Linebeck's therapist or something each time Link goes to the Temple of the Ocean King.

I particularly enjoy how the game (at least twice) plays with your expecting him to be at the ship all of the time by having him be in a different spot on an island. His dialogue for islands and his overseas dialogue are fun, it gives off a sense that he much prefers exploring and is a bit less guarded overseas. His dialogue during the ghost ship fight is ESPECIALLY fantastic, the specific line of 'I'm fighting right there with you this time, kid!' not only offers some very interesting insight to his attitude towards link and his own role, but kind of also stings when considering the events of the final boss and is also a quote I took a screenshot of while reading the text dump for this game.

Phantom Hourglass is by no means an exceptional game and while the story is fine it's nothing fantastic and even most of the characters are... ok, but Linebeck is without a doubt the best part of this game and I really feel like he's the main reason why people still give this game a chance and despite everything he's easily one of the best characters in the entire series even if his game isn't one of the better ones. He honest to god steals every scene he's in, even if he barely has any dialogue- he's animated with such distinct personality and I love it. He doesn't speak at all until the end of the spirit of courage scene and yet is so fucking distracting with his fruity fucking posing and movements in reaction to what's going on.

I'm also personally a fan of the near-complete lack of backstory we get for him. The most we get is some vague implications but everyone can read the given information in different ways so it's really not much. Phantom Hourglass's general lack of lore is great for me since I can just fill in the blanks however I want. I kinda honestly don't want Nintendo to revisit this game because I don't really want them to add anything new. Just port it or something don't change it.

That's about it for surface-level specific-to-the-games Linebeck talk... on to everything else.

Linebeck is literally the reason why I found out I was autistic. I wrote this loser and realized I was accidentally making him kinda autistic and THEN realized I was also projecting and then decided to look into that. He's fun to write and he always ends up a little out of character and at this point I barely give a damn because this bastard is masking or keeping up a facade or whatever the fuck in most of his scenes anyways. Linebeck's arc feels to me more about him being most honest and open to and about his own emotions and actual personality so honestly writing him a bit out of character doesn't bother me too much.

He's my favorite little guy, and when I plan out Zelda aus he always gets a major role to the point where a lot of the twists to my aus all end up being similar. For a few of them I've had to forcibly alter his role so that I can't include him constantly. He's very interesting for different kinds of aus because he's an interesting character for different concepts and situations. His relationships with characters in Phantom Hourglass lend well to au stuff; specifically with Link, in one au they're adoptive brothers, in one they're something akin to rivals, in one their mutual fixation on each other propels the plot. I've even expanded on interactions and possible dynamics with Bellum in aus (Bellum is honestly fun since he's kind of a blank slate in canon but there's just enough there to build off of but keep it relatively the same original character).

I have a few ocs that used to be au versions of Linebeck that ended up becoming their own thing because the aus in question worked better as original stories.

With Phantom Hourglass-centric ideas, it's a lot of fun to poke around and explore stuff with Linebeck's past, his mental state, the kinds of things he enjoys or hates, pretty much anything the game doesn't elaborate on. With all of that blank space and the fact that I've known about him for a few years now, I've gotten down a whole backstory and deeper details on Linebeck, most of which I'm probably going to end up expressing through writing.

Just a few of the baseline ones are just along the lines of him being gay, autistic, touch-averse, intersex, a cat person, someone who highly values his freedom, half Gerudo, interested in music- some of it can be supported with canon (he really comes off to me like a closeted gay man, and he does have some generally autistic vibes) and some of it is really just for the hell of it (in particular the idea that he’s of Gerudo descent has no backing but is so interesting for story stuff and is generally fun) (I also enjoy ignoring parts of canon. I have not played Spirit Tracks and I do not want to play it so if I don't look at it I can ignore it).

I have a lot of fun fleshing him out in different aus or in scenarios before or after Phantom Hourglass, since there's just enough there to allow for further reasonable exploration, and his being just some normal guy actually helps with that since it forces you to keep things relatively normal and comparable to kinds of things you can experience in your day-to-day. I've more or less figured out a (mostly) full backstory for him, I've decided on a full physical description of how he looks so that I have a baseline if I want to change stuff in an au or just so that I know how I figure he looks as well as have an idea of how some physical traits can lend themselves to other aspects of how I write and portray him (for example, I figure he has long fingers, which goes right with the idea that he enjoys music and is pretty good on a piano, and also that he's good with tasks that might require a bit more finger dexterity as well as generally helping a bit with pick-pocketing or thievery)

I figure that, along with the general idea I have of him valuing his freedom, he's not particularly interested in following rules or laws and hates seeing too many of them put in place, and especially values his own identity even if he doesn't express it as much as he'd like. He likes being able to go wherever he'd like and he likes being able to do what he wants and express himself how he wants and that stuff gets bogged down when he plays into that image of someone he's not that he hides behind and doubles down on in a good bit of Phantom Hourglass.

Linebeck is fun in general he's a good character he's fun for aus he's got enough groundwork to spend ages pouring into possible avenues for his personality and background and whatever potential he could have in different aus or roles. He's surprisingly fun and interesting to use as an antagonist since you can't fall back on easy villain-writing ideas and have to get a bit more creative with it.

I think I struggle to write him in-character but it's backed up a bit by my specific interpretation of him suggesting that a lot of what you see from him is forced or fake. I still think he's a greedy piece of shit, though. He sucks and it's on purpose. I lean into him being rude and cold and a bit quieter overall.

He just... for some fucking reason when I decided to play this game Linebeck struck a chord with me whether or not I realized it at the time so he's just very interesting and entertaining and important to me and it really doesn't help that either Phantom Hourglass as a whole or just Linebeck is my special interest.

Linebeck stands out in comparison to other Zelda characters and has a very unique and fascinating role and arc and is just so fucking good.

He feels like he could be used as an example of how good character writing can save a piece of art (not that ph sucks but like. god damn he elevates it) just because his inclusion makes the story more interesting as you have this selfish asshole tagging along next to your little goody-two-shoes protagonist and fairy friend, and his arc, though not entirely the focus of the story, is another reason to keep progressing. His dialogue is funny and has some really good in-character tips every so often, he adds character to traversal and adds stakes as a character to care about and protect and is just fucking fantastic.

He's a character that can work as comedic relief but at the same time can be taken very seriously and I really enjoy that while he seems to be in the role of comedic relief a lot it never seems much like it's diegetically intentional and it still allows room for him to be taken completely seriously. Him knocking over stone Tetra is funny but there's so much character in that entire string of animations that while it's a fun background gag it also provides even more insight into Linebeck as a character.

Essentially he's my favorite character ever he was probably my gay awakening and I want to steal his gender and I think about him more than I think about my ocs.

@elendsessor listen, I love your blog and the way you curate stuff!!! that comment was honestly self-defeatist on my part, and I'm sorry if it made you doubt yourself, you're one of my absolute favorite mutuals at the moment (even though we don't talk, your blog is so awesome!), and I was genuinely worried you'd not follow me back when you remade, wahhh (mostly because I barely post fandom lately, and all I do is lazily scroll my dash and scout the katana zero tag, and I am so self-conscious about how much i love kz these days... i gotta stop with that)

ANYWAY!! back to your original inquiry, at full force

9. worst part of canon

stealth levels in games that are not otherwise about stealth tend to be quite ruinous. off the top of my head, two examples I am forever a little salty about are Ghost Trick and Katana ZERO (though it's partially optional in the latter - I always opt to kill my way through the prison on replays)

For Ghost Trick, that's legitimately the only issue I have with it. For Katana ZERO, however... the ending stretch of the plot is somewhat poorly paced\unsatisfying compared to everything else + hard mode is genuinely unbalanced to the point where I actually gave up on it last month (but god, the itch to play more has not left)

SMT4: rapid-fire complaints from someone who hasn't played other SMTs yet: most of the plot after the Tokyo reveal felt weak, the game needed to be a little more obvious early on about how your choices matter, I wish Flynn had a bit more personality, just to match his companions, the Isabeau twist in particular sucks ass, Burroughs turning out to be a goddess sucks even more, App Point costs were unbalanced, they could have afforded to use multiple asset sets for Domains, I didn't like the prospect of endgame grinding.

I said Chrono Trigger is perfect, but that's only if you ignore what follows after (especially the tie-ins attempted in CTDS). I still do not have it in myself to wholeheartedly love Chrono Cross

Pyre is a wonderful game, but the second half of it was a huge drag and could stand to be less repetitive

Hades has an ending that basically ruins the rest of the plot and it's BAD. also, endgame grind is way too tedious and the progression system can break in places

Brandish 1: the remake doesn't have speed options like the original game did, Tower is a bland-looking stage with awkward music, boss music in this game is uninspired outside of HEADLESS Brandish 2: literally nothing important to the larger narrative happens in this game when you think about it, endgame is not fun and absolutely ridiculous (I get why, but this is truly old school game design at its worst), boss music still sucks (most of the OST outside of the opening hour is honestly weak), there's a different Tower and it sucks for different reasons (backtracking yay) Brandish 3: the fact that the translation isn't out yet (serious answer: this game, iirc, has more backtracking than the others. Sanctuary was a really gimmicky stage in particular) Brandish 4: for fuck's sake, who decided the Temple stage was acceptable? it's literally an assault on the senses

Trails series: awful with ships. awful. the main ship of the first arc of the series is a case of adopted incest lol there's some other really gross tropes like this all throughout and I really don't feel like reciting them right now, so... I'll list other stuff: the games weren't intended to have multiple difficulties, so playing on anything that's not Normal will suck in some way you have to be extraordinarily meticulous to 100% or use a guide as the series went on, it became easier to break the difficulty into pieces with how ridiculous skills get despite that, superbosses and scripted losses that you have to win to 100% are a tradition of the series and can be really annoying to deal with as the series went on, it also started using more modern anime tropes to appeal to more people and it UNFORTUNATELY has been working

Ys series: modern games suffer from trying to be more like Trails, which they shouldn't <3 end of story

Xenoblade 1: battle system as a whole was unrefined and unsatisfying, worst sidequests in the series, female party members are all suffering in some way (Sharla's arc was cliche and unsatisfying, she sucks to use, her design is awkward; Fiora's situation was not explored deeply enough and she got fridged; Melia suffers in the story so much it almost turns into comedy and suspends disbelief) the only antagonist that resonated with me was Zanza.

Xenoblade 2: (DLC fixes most of this) The obvious: there needed to be less titties; The obvious again: Tora's introduction sucks ass (and he doesn't get truly better ever :() AND Tiger! Tiger! can go fuck itself; The introduction in general is slow and is why I won't replay this even though it's a GOAT; I actually like the gacha being around (I got lucky and the only real trouble I had was getting KOS-MOS imo), but it should at least become infinitely more generous in NG+. AT LEAST THAT. The infamous roadblocks to 100% like Ursula's affinity chart; The UI issues that everyone harped enough on; The maps got so much worse in this game compared to 1 like? I had so much trouble navigating here compared to other XB games.

Xenoblade 3: (DLC fixes most of this) literally the worst antagonists in the series; not a great party either (RIP Sena); Noahmio was kinda boring for half the runtime; in general the messages made by the game are not interesting to me and did not resonate like 2 did; the class system ruins every good change made to battle system; chain attacks suck, and not just their music - they're worse than 1's; weakest soundtrack (same issue as Brandish 2, where it starts strong but as a whole is eh); probably the only XB game that I do not ever intend to actually finish, because it's such a slog somehow.

The only sin Kid Icarus Uprising committed was its control scheme. Might have been justified, but it sucks.

Ace Attorney has too many issues to count <3 I'll just mention that: The series as a whole sucks at guiding you when you get stuck Big Top sucks, we all know this AA6 ruined Athena and Apollo and has questionable setting\design choices AAI2's last case dragged on for too long even if it was hype

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim's battle system as a whole really sucks if we're being honest, and nowhere is this shown off better than the final battle.

VA-11 Hall-A often goes overboard with humor, but its worst offense is the optional bullet hell minigame they put in

I (M/900ish) accidentally scare the shit out my once best friend's little sister so bad that she ran out into Chicago and was lost for 3 weeks. Later I kind of died and when I came back from the dead I almost killed her because she was being stubborn and wasn't listening to me. After that, I kind of revealed that everything that happened to her was the fault of another friend of her's mother in a not so nice way. I was told to by The Source, so it's not really my fault. AITA?

Talon

I (M/1300ish) got in a fight with a good friend over jealousy, causing an already frightened female to flee into one of the most dangerous cities in the US. Then I fucked around and didn't really help try to find her because my sister was having relationship troubles. Once she was brought back to the Chicago Sanctuary, I decided to leave with my sister because I was still pissed off at my friend and seeing the two of them working together made it worse. I abandoned my friend for years and when I showed up again, I was a total asshole till I was put in my place by the asshole I got in a fight with in the first place. I was in the process of fixing the past when I convinced a good friend (F/35) to help me get my sister back from The Source. She got stuck in the realm because my step-dad is a douche and almost died. I feel like I fuck everything up. AITA?

I (M/none of your damn business) am overprotective of my sister (F/35) to the point I've almost killed an asshole that kidnapped her (M/900ish) and her exhusband (M/Immortal). Some say I get it from out step-father. 1500 years ago I failed a partner who was massacred and I fully gave into the darkness in my nature, completely abandoning the light in my soul. I was barely brought back by a couple of Nephilim. I closed myself off from everyone till I found my sister. Now I am affection to her and those she holds most dear, but I tend to electrocute first and ask questions later of everyone else, especially my grandfather (M/Immortal). I have stopped setting him on fire randomly. AITA?

I (M/Not Saying) tend to set people annoying me on fire. As the son of the flame keeper of the eternal flame of Heaven, I've enjoyed this for some time. I have a short temper except with certain people. One of my favorite victims is a mouthy grigori (M/900ish) but he's now hanging out with a female nephilm (F/?) who has powers over water, so she can put him out, right? I don't set humans on fire, so it's not like setting on fire can kill them, unless I want it to. AITA?

Thinnius

I (M/I have no clue) had served under a commander I considered a friend (M/Immortal) for centuries. Then the boss went and got a wife (F/35). The babe was wicked cool, and damn did she have some powers. But better than that, she didn't treat us demons like we were less than her angel friends. See that's kinda different than some of those other stuck up bitches that the boss had hung out with. And she paid attention to those of us who hung out around the boss. After a while, I liked her more than him. When push came to shove, I took her side and haven't looked back, even raised arms against him. AITA?

This is a OC x Dream ship and therefore NOT canon by any means, I just enjoy them, please don't feel offended. Characters: Dream of the Endless; Senka (OC) Pairing: Senpheus (Dream x Senka) Warnings: none Featured music: From Olympus by Darren Korb

The day was dark and rainy outside, and instead of going into the damp darkness of the day, Senka had decided she would take the easy way out instead. Cuddled up on her couch, fuzzy socks on her feet, a blanket around her shoulders, holding a controller in her fingers. Getting this flat warm was a nightmare, but eh, the rent was cheap. And who was she to complain about getting her feet a little cold. She'd gone through much worse.

On the screen across from her, a young man dashed through a couple of ghosts, beating them up with bare hands, slashing between them as if he was a vigorous lion. This is how she loved to play this game. Just unga-bunga and hope for good boons. She knew that there was more to it, that people had builds for this kinda stuff and some could delete bosses in the matter of seconds. But that was not her thing, not really. But she wanted to get through the story, including side stories. And she wanted to make some progress on those. But, to her surprise, much like always it happened, she wasn't alone for long.

"What are you playing, my little nightmare?" A voice came from the kitchen, making her flinch, almost dropping her controller, before sighing out, immediately recognising the tone. "Blood and Darkness, Morpheus, why!?" She paused the game, and turned her head, pale eyes set onto the King of Dreams, the corner of his mouth forming a little smirk. He found it amusing to startle her. "Can't you, like, at least knock? I almost had a heartattack!" The nightmare complained, as Dream made his way over to sit beside her on the couch, eyes curiously assessing the pause screen shown to him. "Almost is not quite, my dear." He noted, the smirk becoming more and more obvious, while he watched her scoot a little closer to him. His arm found its way around her waist with easy, even through the blanket, while his lips pressed a light kiss against the side of her head. Senka closed her eyes, enjoying and soaking up the attention of the Dreamlord, her head leaning up against his shoulder with practiced ease. He wasn't particularly warm, especially compared to her underneath the blanket and sweater, but that could be changed. And it should be too.

"I didn't mean to distract you, little nightmare." Dream noted after a moment of silence between them, quietly speaking close to her ear. "You may continue your game." - "You sure?" The pale woman turned, looking at him a little uncertain. "You just came here, you don't wanna just sit here and watch me play video games, do you?" A soft scuff escaped the dreamlords mouth as he had to smile, raising his head, to press a gentle kiss into the unruly silver hair of his companion. "I would gladly watch you do anything, little nightmare…even playing video games."

Senka pressed her lips together, then made a light "hmm" sound, showing she understood, before turning her head back, facing the tv once more, and leaving the pause screen. Morpheus felt how she tensed up beside him, her hands doing quick work on the controller, while the clicking of buttons and the energetic music filled the room. His eyes followed her moves closely as she cleared the area, collecting something akin to a dark purple crystal, before being faced with two more doorways, of which she chose the left.

"You still haven't told me what this game is." He remarked after another chamber, and another collected reward. "Oh yeah right, sorry. It's called Hades. A friend recommended it to me. It's a rougelite, but it's surprisingly less frustrating then I thought it would be." She explained to him, smashing an enemy into a wall, causing it to dissipate into smoke. The Lord of Dreams blinked slowly, trying to absorb the information given to him. Most of it he had a faint idea of, but by god, what was a 'rougelite'? Obviously noticing his confusion, Senka quickly elaborated on what she had said previously. "It's a game where you do runs, so you play through the game, you die and then you start all over again. For example, in this game, you're Zagreus, the son of Hades, trying to break out of the underworld to seek out your mother Persephone. You know the story?" Her voice became rather excited when she talked about it, and something in Dream didn't want to admit to it, yet he had promised to be honest to her at all times. And they didn't call him the Prince of Stories for nothing.

"Yes, I do know the story. But I am sure they have found some way to tell it differently from how I know it." He was very aware of the many variations myths like this could take and, quite frankly, always have taken. To see them reworked and re-imagined was quite a recent, yet welcome development in Morpheus eyes. His heart stung a little however when he noticed a light disappointment cross the face of his night howler, as she nodded. "Yeah, figured you know it. You know everything." She noted, her eyes back on the screen, when she walked through another door, finding herself in a glade. A cloud-like river dwelled around the pathway and stairs, on the top of which a man set on the ground, whom she talked to.

"Is something wrong, there, sir? I mean shouldn't you be up and about, competing for eternal pride and glory and all that?"

"What's the use? Let's say we fought, if anybody asks. Now, go. I've no quarrel with you, besides. I'll just remain here, comfortably at rest, for some untold millennia, I guess. Have a nice... whatever time it is."

"Patroclus…" Morpheus noted the name, reading it out loud quietly, eagering a nod from his friend. "Yeah, he's Achilles' boyfriend and I'm trying to get them back together, but I'm stuck. You have to wait for like a certain dialogue option to appear in order to get prompted to talk to someone else, and all that jazz. I have them both maxed out on nectar too, so it's just a waiting game at this point." She informed him with a deep sigh, as she went onto the next chamber. "This game has so much dialogue, it can take a while…like its inside. The game has like six dialogue options at all times basically, and it usually picks one who haven't had before. I heard people say, they played this game hundreds of hours and they never had a single line repeated, at least not as far as they could recall. And then there's situation specific dialogue too, like depending on how you stand with people…it's super cool. Also the dialogue is funny as fuck."

Her enthusiasm made Morpheus smile wider than he would like to admit. It was so sweet to see her genuinely excited about something. "You really like this game, I can tell." He chuckled, and pressed another kiss against the side of her head, making her giggle in return. Happiness bubbled in her stomach and she couldn't help to grin at him. "Oh this game is a nightmare tho. Everyone is hot and I want to fuck them all. All some of them not all, cause Zeus sucks, Poseidon is cool surfer uncle, Hades is 'father'- " The used the word in a very specific tone he could interpret as an impression of the main character. " - Athena is distant aunt, Dionysus fucks, I love them, Artemis is bestest girl, Ares turns you into death bayblades, I love him to, Hermes is a small subby boy, who I want to top, Aphrodite is just as bad as always, Demeter is grandma…and don't get me started on all the chthonic gods. Like…okay, hold up, let me- ah no, wait-" She paused the game once more, then pulled away, stretching as far as she could to reach her phone on the other side of the couch, where it had been charging. "I can show you a picture." She said, while she unlocked it, opening a search engine and typing in a name.

Pushing herself back as she did so, Morpheus helped by pulling her up, curiously looking down onto the phone screen when she showed him the picture of a pale woman, with golden eyes, a flowy purple dress, and dark hair, which sprawled out behind her, small stars in the vastness of the dark locks. "This is Nyx, Mother Night. She's kinda Zagreus mom too, she raised him." Senka turned her head, curiously taking in Morpheus' reaction to the picture. He had once mentioned that his parents were night and time, so showing him this picture of the personification of night, she hoped to get some kind of reaction out of him. "Does your mom look like that too?" She then asked, unable to hold back her curiosity any longer. For a moment she thought she had offended him somehow, then he laughed softly and smiled. "No, they don't. But…I imagine if they were a person, this could come close." He mused, finding the idea of it quite ridiculous, yet he could see his friends' point. The pale skin, the dark hair, the starryness in their appearance; all aspects he shared. While the golden eyes were certainly a very prominent feature in his sibling Desire.

Having amused him was quite a good sign for Senka, who relaxed, happy that she didn't offend him with the question. "Well, yeah, there's her, her sons, Hypnos and Thanatos. Who you can date. Well Thanatos, not Hypnos. Yeah, you can date in this game too, you can also decorate the house of Hades…you can do a lot of stupid stuff in this game." She tossed the phone aside, about to pick up the controller once more, then quickly turned, snatching the phone again. "Hold up, I have to show you my wife!" Morpheus rose his eyebrows at her words, his cheeks starting to strain a little from his suppressed smiles. "Your wife?" - "Well my game wife. There." Pale hands handed him the phone, on which a lady was on full display, holding a whip in one hand, the other by her side, a judging look in her eyes as she looked towards the viewer. Her skin was blueish in tone, with dark blue hair to match. She had a golden armor around her shoulders, as well as several other golden accessories on her ears and worn as jewelry, while on the back a single bat-wing had sprouted. "Her names Meg, Megaera, First of the Furies, and I wived her. As in I dated her. And now we're hooking up. Well, her and Zagreus, not her and I, but I would. Even with the whip." Morpheus took his time to look at the picture, feeling a little jealous just for the hint of a second, before reminding himself that it was all in good faith. And therefore, he could make fun of it. "Looks like I have to step up my game then, so I won't lose my little nightmare to the First of the Furies." He joked, his hand softly tightening around her waist, as he pulled her closer, his eyes fixed onto her face while she looked up to him, a small grin on her lips. "Maybe you should, lord of Dreams." She replied in a teasing tone, which he gladly took as an invitation to lean down and pressed his lips to hers in a gentle manner. It was what he had come here for in the first place, but he wasn't mad about the delayed display of his affection. Seeing her enjoy this game and get all giddy and excited about it was much worth the wait.

It was a long, quiet moment in which they shared their kiss, warm breaths intermingling with one another, as they breathed each other in, mouths slowly moving against one anothers. The gentle noise of their small, careful kisses seemed insignificant in comparison with the room, but that was how they liked their kisses. It was just about feeling each other and assuring, that they were there and real. Morpheus' fingers softly dug into the side of his night howlers shirt, who, in turn, moved her hand onto his leg, stroking along his thigh. A quiet sigh left his mouth at her touch, the tone getting swallowed by her lips, which lazily opened after a moment, yet he didn't have any intention to suddenly pick up the pace. A warm sleepiness seemed to surround the both of them as they continued, enjoying the comfort of shared intimacy.

It was the Dreamlord who eventually pulled away. "Come on…I want to see what else you can show me in this game. You've peaked my interest…" he whispered against her skin, his nose gently bumping hers.

Where do I begin.

Fumie Kumatani is a legend among legends, responsible for some of the finest, most emotional works in the Sonic games, especially in Adventure 1 and Unleashed. At Dawn? Tricky Maze? Tikal’s theme? Gamma's theme? For True Story? Supporting Me? The Last Scene? High and Broken? Gaia Gate? Cool Edge Night? Skyscraper Scamper Day? All hers.

Jun Senoue? Hello? The perpetual banger machine? Giving us quality content since 1994? Even excluding the facemelting masterpieces that are the Crush 40 songs, I cannot possibly link all of my favorite works, my man can go from the hardest buttrock to the most somber piece. If you love an Adventure rock track, it was composed by him. Hell I even like some of his Sonic 4 work!

Tomoya Ohtani sort of replaced Senoue in the 10s, and he evolved an "anime" style, but before that his versatility had no peers and he’s also extremely prolific. The Knuckles raps, The ARK, His World, Wave Ocean (both with the help of Mariko Nanba) Crisis City (+ Classic and Modern remixes), Flame Core, End of the World, Endless Possibility, Windmill Isle Day, Rooftop Run Day (+ Classic and Modern remixes), Aquarium Park’s themes, Sea Bottom Segue, Infinite’s theme, Egg Gate, Mortar Canyon...

Kenichi Tokoi has been with us since Sonic Jam and I can't get enough of his jazzy, energetic style. You have no idea how many bangers he composed, and few people appreciate him! He gave us The Dreamy Stage, Egg Carrier’s theme (with some help from Kumatani), Mechanical Resonance, Unknown from M.E. (the good version), Battle Highway, all of Cyber Track themes, Sand Ruins, The Palace that Was Found, Unawakening Float, It Has Come To This, the Werehog Battle theme, Dragon Road Night, Jungle Joyride Night, Crimson Carnival, Planet Wisp’s themes, Terminal Velocity, Battle with Death Queen... I could go on forever. (and not Sonic related but Spaceship Strut has been living in my head rent free for years)

Hideaki Kobayashi! The one who can put an entire orchestra and choirs in a GBA soundchip! The one who gave us the delightful intro and history themes of Mega Collection! The one who made my favorite non-orchestral final boss theme (and horribly underrated) in the series! The one who gave us Solaris’s themes, the Egg Dragoon theme, Perfect Dark Gaia’s theme and Nega Wisp Armor’s themes! And easily the best staff roll theme in the series!

Yutaka Minobe is hella underrated, and his tracks often stand out in the soundtracks. He did The Doom, Ice Mountain, Music Plant, Lost Jungle, Deep Woods and the third Infinite boss theme.

Same for Mariko Nanba, who gave us Circus Park, Dusty Desert Quicksand, Tropical Jungle, White Acropolis, Kingdom Valley, Aquatic Base, Coral Cave, Haunted Ship and many of Colors’ area themes. (basically she’s half the reason ‘06′s ost is the greatest)

Tatsuyuki Maeda is not a name that you read often, but he also made some of my favorite tracks, from Volcano Valley to Gene Gadget, from Egg Rocket to Ocean Base.

Hideki Naganuma needs no introduction. Rush’s OST is iconic.

Naofumi Hataya and Masafumi Ogata, the geniuses behind CD's original soundtrack (and Sonic 2 8-bit, a personal favorite of mine), are a mandatory mention. Hataya also did a number of tracks outside of CD, like Ocean Palace, Mystic Mansion, Gems Collection’s OST, Terminal Velocity’s area theme and Ghost Town. (Ogata also did Ristar’s Crying World, one of my favorites from that game)

And finally, Tee Lopes, who earned his rightful place among the greatest after one game, and then proceeded to bless us more in Team Sonic Racing and even outside - that cover of Underground Zone he did with Senoue? Bliss <3

... And these are all just Sonic composers :p

Kenji Yamamoto is the most consistent composer for the Metroid games, and responsible for the masterpieces that are Super Metroid's and Metroid Prime's OSTs. Of course, special shoutout to Minako Hamano for giving us Maridia Rocky Underwater Area and Ridley’s theme, among other tracks she was not specificially credited for :) I know she was hugely responsible for Fusion’s OST, at least.

Yasumasa Kitagawa and Hiromitsu Maeba are by far my favorite composers for Ace Attorney, although they only did The Great Ace Attorney (and the crossover with Layton). Objection 2015, The Great Pursuit, Herlock Sholmes' theme, Barok van Zieks's theme, Kazuma Asougi’s second theme, The Game is Afoot, The Great Secret Trial... Aside from them, Noriyuki Iwadare is by far the most famous AA composer, and I like him a lot too, but he’s basically the Jun Senoue of AA, I don’t know where to begin with him lol. Maybe with Trials and Tribulations’ Objection theme, now the de facto Phoenix’s theme.

Hidenori Shoji, the man who has been carrying the Yakuza franchise since its inception! I’m only familiar with his work on Yakuza 0 but holy shit what a work - I am so weak for this kind of eclectic style. I mean, this guy gave us Receive You and its many different remixes!

Megaman had a ton of composers, too many to list, so special shout out to Yasuaki Fujita (main composer of MM3′s OST) Toshihiko Horiyama (main composer of X1′s OST, plus Apollo Justice’s), Naoto Tanaka (main composer of X5′s and X6′s OSTs, plus Justice for All’s), Ippo Yamada (general composer of the Zero series - a few examples of his work: Enemy Hall, Departure, Cannon Ball, Straight Ahead), Masaki Suzuki (many of Zero 2′s best tracks are his) and Shinichi Itakura (the one who graced us with Falling Down among other tracks :P).

Jeremy Soule is mostly famous for his Skyrim work. I know him for composing the OSTs of the first three Harry Potter games :P at this point tracks like Hogwarts’ theme, Diagon Alley and the title screen of Prisoner of Azkaban are part of my genetic makeup.

And of course, the one and only Michiru Yamane. Symphony of the Night is just her flexing as hard as she could - she could go from Marble Garden to Lost Painting to Festival of Servants in one game with no struggle. And before that, Bloodlines’s OST is an underrated gem in the Genesis library.

(also, as a bit of a footnote: NicolAmarfi and Blue123. I love Katawa Shoujo and its music so much, even if it’s a small indie visual novel)

It was at first a simple thought but I am SO starting to ship Mugman and Angel the fishing fish girl HARD and making HCs of them

Him crushing hard on her ever since they met in the game, him 11 she 12 and "suffering" that she is in Middle School already far away from his Elementary School (yeah apparently the fact they are "kidults" got retconed in recent media so oh well I accepted it in my HC)

Cuphead being the best matchmaker making sure they would fish together

Them dating quite quickly once his super awkward beginnings were over and she saw his real cute self

Their first kiss was a surprise from her, him peering at the water after she had dived in to go home and she went back to the surface to smooch him. He sat there hours like a statue

She being like Penny from Gumball to him, him Gumball if he had many more braincels and more kindness. Also "he asked for no pickles" kind of dynamic, he might have beaten the Devil himself he still is shy and she is sweet but can be assertive

They both are school nerds, he tries even less to do stupid things like in the game now to look more serious to her (but often fails ; I mean, Cuphead is Cuphead), that is until he finds out she sometimes too skips school when she pretends to be sick just to go fishing

She is a fan of paranormal and ghosts, so he introduces her to Chalice but also other ghostly bosses

They love dates at the carnaval. They love rides, like the kissing tunel (Mugman's favorite, he's romantic and very shy so at least nobody sees them) and the spooky mansion (her favorite, Mugman has to brace himself but they have an excuse to hug). They also do homework at home or the library together which kinda count as dates

Him not knowing how to swim and she teaching him how to, as well as hold his breathe the longest

She quickly becoming part of the Cup friends, with Cuphead she knew already and Chalice she "plots" with between girls especially when the 2 bros become too much

Mugman being so carried away that once he turns 12 he asks her in marriage to which she obviously goes "woah there buddy we're kids"... without saying no either

So that they marry when he turns 18 after having been engaged for years. The wedding night was awkward since a first for both

They live near the river, so that she can reach the water anytime. They also have a pool and 3 bathrooms and lots of bottles in case

Mugman is the one to cook. Not that she sucks or doesn't like, but he is great and loves

He would grow a moustache for Angel because he overheard her in a conversation with Chalice how she loved that in men in general. He would be made fun of by everyone for looking older but Angel, she loved him without it already but she wouldn't say no

They may be young, they act like an already old married couple for how much in sync they are which of course earns teasing from Cuphead to Mugman "Mugsy you are 21 and you only knew and chained yourself already to one woman"

They have a great contraceptive mean : like all fishes reproduction happens only if she lays leggs and they get fertilized. They just don't touch these eggs and they end up dying

They'd wait longer for this in order to enjoy themselves at their fullest first, but they'll eventually become parents of a daughter I had already mentionned
