does thinking of troy and abed ever make you inexplicably upset? well, it's all in the text! aside from troy and abed serving as frequent comedic buffers, they are given some weighty emotional scenes throughout community's run. just look at the meat of these lines!

we just won't get masking tape (what a beautiful, simplistic way to portray how troy is able to think around abed's systematic manner of viewing their friendship in its beginning stages as well as an illustration of how he deals with conflict)

part five of "clone danny"

Danny returns home later that night with a dislocated shoulder from Skulker and his fair share of scrapes and bruises after facing off with a handful of ectoplasmic animal shades. (All of them stuffed inside his thermos with Skulker that he'll toss in the Zone tomorrow after school.)

He shoves his mask back into his pocket, and hides his bat in the bushes at the side of his house under his window, then rounds back around the front to go through the door.

...Mainly because if Bruce Wayne was still awake, it'd be suspicious if Danny made it home without ever using the front door. He sneaks back in, and slooowly starts closing the door.

"You're back late." Says a surly, young voice that startles Danny into slamming the door instead.

"Fucking--!" He cuts himself and breathes in slowly, trying to slow his elevated heart rate before looking over his shoulder to see who the hell scared him.

Glaring at him like an upset parent would, with eyes cutting like sea glass, is Wayne the Sequel... or perhaps he was the seventh sequel. Danny is silent for a moment. "...You're up early." He says, maybe a bit petulant. "Does your dad know you're up this late?"

"Father permitted me to stay up and wait for your return, actually." Damian sniffs, and if anyone could make 'scowling' into a vocal tone, Danny would have thought it'd be Sam. But Damian beat her to it.

Danny turns around slowly to face him, arms crossing. "Yeah, uh-huh." He nods slowly, "Like I'm gonna believe that. Do you normally sit in a random stranger's kitchen and interrogate them when they get home?" He tilts his head for good measure.

"No." Damian says. (He is, in fact, lying.) His eyes narrow at Danny as if he had committed a terrible crime by being in his presence. He looks down to Danny's hands. "Father said you left with a bat. Where is it?"

"I lost it." Danny replies, biting the inside of his lip to prevent himself from smiling.

"You... lost it?"

"Yup." He says blandly. "Whoops."

Danny goes up to his room immediately after that and collapses on his mattress to pass out for the next three hours until his alarm goes off.

Much to Danny's luck, Bruce and his son are literally only there for a few days, and he spends as much time during it to avoid them like a plague (while also dealing with his dislocated shoulder, which should reliably heal in half the time thanks to his ectocontamination). Damian does whatever during the day since he doesn't go to Casper High.

Something to note as we get out of the 'fic'-y part of this post -- Daniel J. Fenton was, largely, the sexual awakening to many people in his grade in Casper High School, including many A-Listers. However he is still "Daniel Fenton" so many of his classmates will take that fact to their grave. And to their personal friend groups.

Does this have any impact going forward? Not really so far, no.

Dodging a Wayne-sized bullet doesn't mean that Danny can dodge the Wes-sized bullet, and finds himself nearly nose-to-nose with an irate Wes Weston who demands to know where he was last nice.

Of which Danny, not needing to drop his smartass comments in front of the guy who already knows his ID, responds by calling him a jealous ex and sidestepping him completely. following up with if Wes isn't careful, then Danny might just think that Wes has a crush on him

(Wes does, in fact, have a crush on Daniel J. Fenton. He will take this secret to his grave.)

Ellie shows up in his kitchen, sitting on the table with her legs crossed while chatting amiably with Bruce Wayne a few days later when Danny returns from school. When Danny asks how she got inside (the door is typically locked), Ellie smiles toothily and fangily, and happily tells him that she came in through the window. And that he needs to tell his parents to invest in locks. She has long hair the same length as him. It's like looking into a mirror, one he is welcome to see into.

It is endearingly Ellie-like to know that she all but broke into his house, and seeing his sister-clone-twin relieves some of his tension. Only a little though when Bruce Wayne was still in his house.

Normally he sits and talks for hours with Ellie. But instead he takes it to the stairs, telling Ellie that he'll be in his room when she's done talking to Mister Wayne. He is a stubborn ass who doesn't even bother to ask where Wayne the Sevquel is.

(He runs into Wayne a one or two more times the following nights. Wayne asks him where his bat is on the second night, his son says he lost it. Danny agrees with him, and Wayne asks with a touch of concern what he'll do if he comes across a ghost.)

(Danny shrugs and says he hasn't before. And comes back home with a bruise the size of a large cat on his hip and a couple more along his torso and legs. his knees hurt from rough jumps with poor landings. Damian is waiting when he gets home. They exchange a few barbs and Danny hightails it up to his room.)

(Danny's face is obscured by the lack of lights and the shadows in the corner. Its the only reason he feels even a modicum of comfort in exchanging a few words with Wayne.)

(Ellie is waiting outside for him the day she meets Wayne, and asks him if Wayne knows. Danny says he wouldn't be avoiding him if he did. Wayne probably wouldn't be as nice as he was now if he knew.)

("You don't know he won't be nice after finding out." Ellie points out while he's digging his bat out from the neighbor's bushes this time.)

("He's not me, Ell." He says, frowning. "We don't know that.")

(Ellie sighs sadly, and Danny feels a tinge of guilt. "You can tell him if you want," he offers, "you don't have to hold back on my behalf.")

("I want to tell him with you, though. C'mon, we're twins.")

(That night Danny avoids breaking his other arm after a run in with a large ecto-serpent. Ellie nearly rips out its tongue for it. She's more ghost-like than he is. Possessive and violent and very, very passionate. As if he wouldn't do the same if pressed.)

(Ellie gives Danny a piggyback ride home, the wind filtering through the grills of his mask and force-feeding him the taste of freedom. Damian is there while they sneak back in, stifling their laughter under the meat of their palms.)

(Danny may or may not have reached out and ruffled his hair in his joviality when he passed him by. Grinning painfully when Damian bats at his hand like a disgruntled kitten. His hair feels like feathers and the sensation sinks itself deep into Danny's star-in-the-sky sized core-obsession like a suggestion.)

(He might regret it in the morning. It will fade in time after the Waynes leave.)

Ride the cyclone movie concept, by me

Cast: off Broadway 2016 cast

Type: regularly 2d animated, but every Choir song has a different animation style.

What the world needs: A video game-ish style animation showing how Ocean views life as a game, it has pixel art, she goes to the next level every time she insults another choir member.

Noels lament: A classical old time-y 1930s animation style, in black and white. Sorta like these:

(Classic cartoon by BIO675 on devienart , keep in mind I did not research so idk if they drew this or just posted it)

Mishcas songs: I genuinely don't know about TSIA (maybe like a clone high type animation)

Talia would be in a sort of Disney style, maybe 2d like Cinderella or the hunchback of Notre dame (One of my favorite Disney movies) or the other 2d Disney movies, or CGI like Tangled.

Space age bachelor man: Obviously an 80s cartoon style animation. Cat ladies will almost look like the original She-ra girls.

The ballad of Jane doe: Sort of (wow im saying this a lot) like an animatic, but a little more polished. It would be in black and white. It would start out with the OG porcelain doll Jane, but over the course of the song, will show different Jane dolls (that way everyone wins). It would end back with the porcelain doll look.

The new birthday song: Would be like TBOJD at first, but then slowly turn back into regular 2d animation like before.

Sugar cloud: STOP MOTION BABYYYYY!!!!! And everyone wold be on clouds for half the song!!!

Other things I would add/ leave out:

Ricky keeps his disability, and he's on a wheelchair/ has crutches for the whole thing.

Since we want this movie to be longer, it's only fair if we learn more about the kids families, father Marcus, Karnak, cut characters (THEY ARE CANON TO ME) etc.

Noel still makes out with Mishca, obviously.

After the movie has been out for a while, we get an animated short (like 5 minutes) explaining the plot of legoland.

This one is probably just me but ld like a little blush with Nishca and/or Spacedolls

Pierce Brown Light Bringer Q&A

I went to pierces book signing tonight and I will attempt to regurgitate everything I can remember since I didn’t take notes

When asked if there’s any characters he regrets killing off, he said Trigg. But he also said he has a different answer every time someone asks that

He talked about how he writes two different types of deaths—deaths that feel like the end of an arc, and deaths that feel like they cut off in the middle. He said the latter are more like life, and that’s why they hurt more, and why he’s more likely to regret killing them. Trigg is one of these, as is Fitchner

Speaking of Trigg, his aborted arc factored into the decision to add ephraim as a pov character—it allowed him to explore Trigg and his backstory even after he was gone

The other povs in iron gold were specifically chosen because each had a bone to pick with Darrow, and also because he wanted a high, mid, and low color pov

He was complimented multiple times on how he writes female characters, and his response basically boiled down to “I subscribe to the radical idea that women are people”. He said it’s funny that no one ever compliments him on his ability to write complex male characters

Related to the above, both victra and Aja were originally conceived as male characters, but he couldn’t quite make them work until he flipped the gender. He said that after making victra a woman, he immediately knew exactly who she was and she became incredibly easy to write

Speaking of victra (she got a lot of love, as she deserves), someone asked for a random fact about her, and he said she plays Karachi, which is a gambling game, but she doesn’t want anyone to know because she doesn’t want people to think she’s reckless. Everyone knows.

When asked how he feels about Lysander, pierce said “he’s doing his job,” both in universe and as a vehicle for the story. He also said this was always the path he’d imagined for Lysander

Some of his favorite lines are “do not fear for me, pity them” and “worthy”

He called Darrow a drama queen, and said that he often talks out loud while writing, and darrows internal monologues get weird reactions from friends who overhear (“who’s the motherfucking consequence?!?”)

Darrows experience in light bringer (in particular his reading of the path to the vale) was very much inspired by pierces own struggle trying to write light bringer. He said they both had to learn that the right path is not always forward, sometimes you have to go back

Light bringer was by far the hardest book for him to write (he said “if you ever want to know what the hardest book for an author to write was, just look at how long it took to do it) but he said it’s also possibly his favorite

When asked if any characters or relationships surprised him, he said yes absolutely. Sevro was apparently supposed to be a tertiary character, but basically hopped off the page, and victra was another surprise. He also said (light bringer spoilers) the relationship between Cassius and Lyria was also a huge surprise, but he realized on writing their first interaction that they would absolutely love each other

He also said that the snark between Darrow Cassius and sevro just flowed really easily, and that Darrow and Cassius understand each other, but that Cassius simply Does Not Get sevro

When asked about bringing the jackal back as a clone, he said it was an effort to explore cloning in a way that, in his opinion, has not been done particularly well in many other media. He also said it came about because there was more to explore with virginias relationship with her brother

Tongueless was a hat of death kill, but he told us the original backstory he had planned for him. Apparently tongueless was a high up leader of the syndicate, who was deposed by Lilath when she came in and instigated a coup

He said he tries to write using “South Park writing rules”, meaning instead of saying x and y and z happen, he always uses x happens but y happens or y happens therefore z happens. He said this helps keep things from feeling predictable or trite

When asked what he hopes people take away from the series, he said he doesn’t want to say, because he fears that would be showing his hand for red god. But he did say that what he hopes people take away from light bringer is the same thing darrow tells sevro in morning star “we keep looking for the light, but we’re it”

And lastly, in the signing line, I asked him when sevro found out his father was ares, and he told me it was “probably around the same time darrow found out”, and said a lot of that is because sevro had spent a long time hating his father, because he could always sense he was being shut out. He mentioned that children can tell when there are walls there, and it can actually have a very damaging impact on their mental stability (mental instability? I said. sevro? Never.) anyway rip to my sevro joined the sons pre series theory, you will be missed, but it’s nice to have an answer thanks Pierce

Anyway it was a very fun time, if I remember more later I will add it

Hurry up and Wait

I love the trope that Obi Wan gets visions of the future (the CW, Order 66, and later) and through these visions he (accidentally or otherwise) saves the galaxy. Let's take a walk through a twist in that.

Obi Wan gets those visions of the future, but never consciously remembers them. Only a lingering sense that he needed to be a Jedi knight (so that he could be in a position to find the clones). Subconsciously, however, he falls in love (platonically) with the clones in general and falls in love (romantically) with Cody in particular, even though he has no memory of it.

As a consequence any Force user with even a hint of a connection to the unifying Force can tell upon meeting Obi Wan that the Force has a Plan with a capital P for him.

This changes nothing about his Padawanship (From which I cherry pick parts of anything I can get my hands on, assume that anything that is known that does not directly contradict what is in here is in play). Qui Gon Jinn’s connection is exclusively to the Living Force, as is Yoda’s.

You know where it starts changing things? When Obi Wan takes Anakin as a Padawan. Anakin, as a child of the Force, got an even clearer sense of the Force Plan. He could sense that Obi Wan would find something(someone) and leave the Jedi before Anakin’s padawanship was finished. He could sense that this would be important, changing the tides of the galaxy kind of important.

So before Anakin could ever become attached to Obi Wan, he is dissuaded. In this Obi Wan is not Master/Teacher/Father/Brother. He is viewed as a tutor, or favored babysitter, until it is time for Anakin to go to his actual Master. And Obi Wan never begrudges teaching Anakin, never lets Anakin think that there was somewhere else Obi Wan had to be, because there wasn’t. Not yet.

Perhaps in another universe Palpatine would have been able to step into the space Obi Wan never realized he made. Except the first time Palpatine pushed to meet with Anakin, Obi Wan had an unexplainable (to anyone who did not know the future he was seeing in his dreams) panic attack strong enough that he needed to go to the healing halls. This panic attack, and the subsequent smaller ones he has whenever he thinks too long about Palpatine being alone with Anakin have two major consequences for Anakin specifically and one for the Order overall.

The first is that Anakin never grows to trust Palpatine. He meets with him, because Palpatine made some fairly heavy-handed implied threats to the Jedi if they did not provide him with the company of a small boy, but he never really lets him in. This Anakin never forgets the lessons that he must have learned as a young slave, particularly ‘never trust a smiling, kindly man in power’. Anakin, at the insistence of the High Council, Obi Wan, and his own instincts is required to see a healer and a mind healer after every session with Palpatine (for fear that was grooming Anakin-which he was, just not the way the Jedi thought).

The second consequence is that the High Council as a whole, and Mace Windu specifically, keeps a closer eye on Anakin. It is to Mace that Anakin begins to turn as a Mentor, whom Anakin is sure will be his Master when it is time for Obi Wan to leave. So, much like with Ahsoka in Canon, Mace and Obi Wan end up co parenting Anakin. And it is understood, and has been exhaustively discussed by all three (to the extent that Anakin's age allows to reasonably be part of the discussion), that Mace is Anakin’s master, though Obi Wan may be considered so on paper (Mace, as head of the Order, cannot take on a too young Padawan. When Anakin is older, certainly, and if Obi Wan leaves early, sure, but for now the day to day is handled by Obi Wan).

The order as a whole, and the High Council in particular, had no actual idea that the Chancellor (and possibly other Senators or representatives) can effectively make the Jedi Order deliver a 9 year old boy to his office and leave. They immediately set a mixed group of Archivist and Shadows to go through all of the treaties, laws, and Senate rulings that can possibly refer to or affect the Jedi. Going through all the laws and rulings and things that should not have affected the Jedi but do(because of a confluence of three, or four, or six different laws that separately don’t do shit to trap the Jedi but together create something that is Ironclad and razor sharp) takes several months. The results are so horrifying that several shadows have to be talked down from the ledge of taking over the Republic entirely.

The High Council decides that they will begin to untangle themselves from the control of the Republic, but that they must do it quietly. There is concern that if they bring attention to the potential for abuse of the Jedi Order, there are beings that would take advantage. They do not realize that they are caught in a Sith Plot (one that in Canon would see them forced to be generals of a slave army). Instead they believe the laws that entrap them to be, not quite coincidence, but that their effect on the Jedi is secondary. So that is going on behind the scenes.

We come to the mission that would get the clones discovered, the one that was supposed to spark a war. Palpatine fully believes that everything is on track with Anakin, as he has not clocked onto the fact that Anakin is humoring him and does not trust him. So Palpatine enacts his plan to get Anakin alone with Padme, hoping that something Jedi code breaking will result (Palpatine does not exactly have control over Padme-Though he certainly thinks he has more than he does-however she is exactly the kind of reckless that he needs to get Anakin into com kind of trouble) while Obi Wan is sent on a chase for the assassin, Jango, which will lead him to Kamino.

Obi Wan arrives on Kamino and knows the instant that he is shown the clones that this is what he has been waiting for. He still does not consciously remember his lifelong visions, but he knows that he has found his people. He very calmly sends out a message to Anakin and Mace to the effect of ‘I have found my people. May the Force be with you. Peace Out’ then goes back and uses every ounce of his cunning and negotiating skill to take command of the clones, the ships, and all the supplies for what should have been the Republic's Army and fuck off to a planet in Wildspace (That Obi Wan owns. Until that very moment he did not know why the Force had encouraged him to acquire the planet).

Jango, who is very intrigued by the pretty red headed Jedi who had just politely browbeaten a bunch of Kaminoans (It is a very much one sided attraction, since Obi Wan is very much in love with Cody-even if he doesn’t know it yet), and Boba go with them.

No just picture this. Dooku is waiting on Geonosis for Jango Fett to lure a Jedi, specifically to lure his grand padawan to the planet so that war can get started. And Waiting. And Waiting. Meanwhile the Geonosian Queen is hovering in the background, starting to make noises that are the equivalent of ‘well, don’t let me keep you’ (and other such saying that were polite-as this was still a potential ally- for ‘Get fucken out of our house already’).

Another Meanwhile, due to a combination of the lack of needing to go to Geonosis to rescue Obi Wan, the lack of a need to go to Tatooine (By sheer happenstance Shimi was not captured by the Tuskens, thus no visions for Anakin), and the goodby message Obi Wan left (which indicated that the current assassin would not be bothering Padme for at least a few weeks), Anakin and Padme get back to the Senate in time for the Separatist Vote. While not unanimous, it is an overwhelming majority that voted to allow the Separatists to leave (Mainly because most of them wanted to be able to leave themselves if need be).

Everyone, Separatist and Republic alike, stares at each other awkwardly in the aftermath of the Vote. For some reason everyone feels as though there should have been a different outcome and no one(outside of Palpatine and his minions) can tell why. Eventually the Separatists turn and walk slowly from the room. Those who wanted the war were seething internally, but not able to show it externally.

Palpatine has to work hard to keep his screams of frustrations internal later, when he calls Kamino and finds that his shiny new army is not where he left it. Then there is the repeal of a seemingly insignificant law and it takes him nearly three weeks to place why (that one law neatly disassembles most of the legal trap that the Jedi were in, because it was the connecting law between that laws with the really harsh punishments and that laws that specifically mention the Jedi).

Back with Obi Wan and the Clones…Things are a bit strange. In the first place Obi Wan still does not consciously remember any of his visions, but subconsciously knows all of the clones and can tell them apart. So he calls the clones by name rather than designation. For some of the clones before they even choose a name. He also knows without knowing why hobbies and interests for most of the clones.

And for all that the Clones have been primed through propaganda to love the Jedi, they don’t actually fully trust anyone who is not a clone, not yet. This has the effect that Obi Wan is, without realizing it, acting very informally with clones who do not know what to make of him. This is compounded by the fact that Obi Wan sees Cody and is instantly smitten. Cody does not know what to do with this.

Hilariously this has the effect of making Jango jealous of Cody. Jango is attracted to Obi Wan, who only has eyes for Cody. So Jango is off to one side making passive aggressive comments about Obi Wan settling for a badly put together copy when he could have the original, muttered low enough that Obi Wan cannot hear. When Obi Wan does over hear one of the comments, the resulting rant on Jango failures as a person (this was before they discovered the chips, but after the realization that Jango had effectively sold his children into slavery) and how Cody is clearly superiors in every way, does help to endear the clones to him.

His visceral horror when they find out about the chips helps too.

I am not sure where it would go from here, though I imagine it does end with the Jedi, in clumps of two or three, just sort of arriving on the planet.

Hey, mod here I finally decided to write headcanons for the Hantengu clone and Zohakuten should have done that sooner. Anyways let's begin. Btw this is still in progress I accidentally added this to my queue ;-;

All four Including Zohakuten

Sekido, Karaku, Aizetsu and urogi are more like quadruplets.

Sekido being the oldest and urogi the youngest of the four

They think of Zohakuten as their baby brother, and in return, he thinks of them as the annoying big brothers.

Like they have a brother dynamic, they stick together, they live together, they fight together and die together. If that's not quadruplet shit then I don't know what is.

All five of them consider Urami(hantengu) their father they would even call him Pa or father sometimes, they'ed even defend him like he's their dad.

all five are Blasien, specifically Nigerian. Like from the dub Aizetsu sounds like he might have a Nigerian Accent.

I have this theory, it's more like a headcanon tho and it doesn't really aline with Hantengus's backstory but anyways

The headcanon is that the clones were originally his sons and he lost all of them which caused him to become completely mentally and emotionally unstable

Urami (hantengu)

The Father of all five and The oldest

He made them their clothes and fixes them, he does it i swear. fight me.

Sekido

Sekido is the oldest of the five and therefore takes the role of the angry and strict older brother, that bonks the younger ones on the head once in a while.

He sleepwalks and has an extremely creepy walk when he does.

Like he will walk around like he's gonna absorb the others.

My Man has back problems because he never relaxes.

He gets told by all his brothers and even Urami, that his back problems and stiffness come from that.

He also doesn't really stretch, so yeah.

The pain is the reason why he always stands so stiffly straight and only does minimal movements.

His favourite colour is actually blue.

He despises drinking and smoke

he absolutely hates it so much

He hates that Karaku smokes.

Urogi and Karaku probably take him out drinking just to piss him off or to have someone sober enough to stop them from doing stupid shit while under the influence.

I'm sorry but he is a control freak

Like he wants everything to be perfect

And everyone to do their parts correctly and how he want's it done

Absolutely hates slacking and making jokes on missions or meetings.

He can cook, he doesn't really have to but he can and he can cook good shit.

He loves his brothers tho more than he likes to admit to himself or anyone else.

Karaku

Like sekido, Karaku is the the second oldest of all four

He is the type of person that would make deez nuts jokes and perverted suggestions.

Would embarrass others on purpose just to get a kick out of it.

Gives good sex and Romance advice even tho no one asked him to.

But If you do ask for advice for anything to do with sex, flirting or romance he is the man for that.

Smokes weed but denies that he does it as a running gig,

because he tried to lie to Urami with a cigarette in his mouth which he forgot about, because he indeed was high at that time

Also offered his blunt once to zohakuten who ofc made a grimace at the smell and declined, as a joke

Got caught doing it and got his ass beat by Sekido and lectured by Urami

He can get very serious tho if he wants to be or if it's about kyogai or Urami or any of his brothers

He does deeply care for his brothers even if he annoys the undying shit out of them on purpose.

Sweats easily, like this man gets extremely hot very fast

Definitely has a fan,

Sleeps with the fan ON.

Not even Urami or Kyogai can convince him it's bad for him he.

Can cook but only the same simply dish and ONLY WHEN HE IS HIGH

Aizetsu

He is the emotional mess of the four

Emotional support brother

He is the person you go to when you feel like everything is to much and you just want to pour your heart out

Great listener.

Let's you speak and gives great advice and suggestions when asked to give them.

Only if you aske him tho

He is also the one that tries to resolve things between all of them

He doesn't talk much about his feeling which even kyogai and sekido find concerning and both are bad at expressing their feelings

The calmest of the four even when he was a human baby.

He rarely screamd or was Fuzzy definitely was the easiest to take care of.

Can cook too because the other two refuse to or can't cook.

Urogi

The youngest and the Hyperenergised of the four.

Gets the Zoomis a lot and I mean A LOT like he will fly and run giggling around and just pass out on the floor or a tree or even on someone else

Is cuddly and affectionate as fuck, like he will randomly hug all of them.

Has Autism a 100%

Gets distracted by birds or shiny things

Has a great sense of humour like, if you need a laugh or need some energy he will and can help.

Man can't keep his mouth shut for even a second.

He can talk for hours without stopping he can keep secrets under one condition

Remember when I said he can't shut up? It gets worse when he is drunk and he gets drunk fast.

Remember when I also said he can keep secrets? Yeah fuck that, He will spill the beans when he is drunk and there is nothing you could do if he is intoxicated and talking

This man doesn't shower or bath, he will fight you if you try to get him to do it.

Probably Used to scream like he is getting murdered when Urami would bath him when he was a human kid.

Still screams, even tho he is now a grown ass man.

But once he is in the water he refuses to get out or leave the shower

Absolutely would destroy the kitchen if you let him cook

Zohakuten

Absolutely hates being called baby brother but doesn't say anything about it tho.

Is the type of person to put the big boy pants on if his big brothers can't.

Gives off old-soul energy tho he is not that old. And says he doesn't.

Everyone thinks he does

Even Urami thinks that he does

He makes sure Their old man is taken care of when the others go on missions when separated

Is the defeniton of the "i'm surrounded by idiots"

He and Aizetsu Were and still are the calmest of all of them even when they were kids

has a very adorable laugh, like he has that cute baby giggle

And he still has that giggle

UpperMoons Realizing They've Fallen For A Human !

You meet him before the sunrise countdown or any of that begins .

He gets this stirring feeling for you. . . at first , he takes it in a completely separate direction than love . Like , seeing you as a possible rival ?

Love isn't too big and great in this man's vocabulary .

Takes him a while before he finally comes to the conclusion that he's fallen head over heels for you.

His insecurities about the way he looks tend to get to him now , when he's around you.

He doesn't want to scare you or hurt you . He's waiting for the right time to ask you to become a demon with him .

Even though he's in love with you, he can't see himself disobeying Muzan and allowing you to live without turning you into a demon as well.

If you do say yes, you'll be fighting at his side always .

Douma's a cult leader . High chance that you're a part of his cult , and he doesn't let anyone who follows him know he eats humans .

You get close to him through chatter when you see him around.

You're like his loyal assistant , in a sense , after a while .

When people visit him for assistance and worship purposes , he has you in the room as well, sitting right next to him.

Then, when you make a small comment about wanting a lover, this man realized something.

He fell for you .

Hit him like a freight train.

He'll invite you to go somewhere with him, maybe to look at the stars at night.

He'll then tell you everything. He doesn't seem like the kind to keep it a secret.

It was hard for him to believe his own feelings.

Since Koyuki's passing, he didn't think he could love another.

Oh, but he sure as hell did.

You were a hashira, and faced him in battle with Kyojuro . You didn't die , though .

If you're a female , high chance he just dodged your attacks and ran off as the sun was coming up .

If you're a male or non-binary , he fought with you , leaving you a bit injured .

He did come back to visit you afterward . You were just so pretty / handsome / good-looking that he couldn't not apologize .

This man is so respectful, and after a while of his visits, you get to know each other more .

Let's start off with Aizetsu ; he's the one who realized he was in love with you first .

He's strong , but a total softie for you.

You make him not sad, and that changed his heart . He loves you for it.

Now for Karaku ; This demon man is a menace .

Playful flirting during a battle was executed at some point .

Uh oh . . . he realized he totally loved you. The playful flirting got even more intense .

And now it's time for Urogi ; He's close to the same as Karaku , but he's less flirtatious .

He can be more serious about his feelings too .

Sekido time!; ComPLETELY in denial about his feelings.

This man takes DAYS to MONTHS figuring out his feelings , and it makes him hateful asf .

He doesn't like that he fell in love , but eventually cools down over it and tells you straight up . The other clones listen in . Sneaky fellas.

Gyutaro may have been a bit sealed within his sister , but he could still hear your charming giggles , even when you talked to Oiran Daki .

Eventually , Gyutaro comes out one night and tells his sister to spare you instead of absorbing you in her belt .

He doesn't ask , he demands <3

May seem crusty, but you find his personality attractive when the information comes that Daki is a demon and so is her brother !

Started reading Light of the Jedi, and it’s been really good so far—the pacing is good despite the POV shifts, the characters are distinct, and the worldbuilding is very good, especially for an established setting. It feels like someone could read this as a stand-alone sci fi novel with no background with Star Wars and get along just fine.

But one of the things I like the most so far is this kind of general ‘people are inherently good’ philosophy that the whole book kinda has.

Idk how to explain it exactly, but all of the characters feel very realistic and human, and they all try to help others. The captain in the first chapter likes and cares for her passengers, and even knowing she’s going to die, she does everything to save them. The scan techs are scared and have lives and people they want to see again, but they put out the warning first, even though they might’ve survived if they hadn’t. The elected official guy stays behind with to coordinate the evacuation and tries to get everyone else out first. And, duh, the Jedi are Jedi.

It’s just really refreshing for a Star Wars project to have that faith, since most of Star Wars is set in some of the worst times possible: civil war and descent into fascism, life under fascism, rebellion against fascism, civil war, post-war and post-fascism reconstruction, the resurgence of fascism. Those are times where it’s hard to trust anyone, let alone have a hopeful outlook on humanity. For most of Star Wars, the elected officials are corrupt and power-hungry, the normal people feel like it’s everyone out for themselves, and the Jedi aren’t allowed to just be Jedi.

It’s also pretty good worldbuilding; like Yoda said in Clone Wars, the prequel Jedi couldn’t take the right path, they had to take the only available path. But in this time, the Republic is working, people are helping each other, the Jedi are allowed to be Jedi. The Jedi have the ability to take the right path, to stay behind on Hetzal and stop the explosion—in the prequels, Palpatine and the Senate wouldn’t have let them stay behind, and even if they did, they might not have been able to move the Tibanna, because the Dark Side would’ve been clouding everything and making it harder to use the Force.

That the Jedi are able to help and that other people are willing to help really helps emphasize that this is a completely different time period and landscape than most of Star Wars. It really sells the idea that this was the galaxy’s golden age.

Idk I’m rambling, but I really like Light of the Jedi so far, and if it stays good I might get into the rest of the High Republic

A.N: Turned out much more angsty that I thought (Quite exciting as I've never written a full angsty fic/headcanon before!)

If his protectiveness wasn't high normally, then it undeniably skyrockets here. Losing the most important person in his life crushed any hope of fulfilling their dreams together of living on Earth & while seeing you alive & well regains some of Shadow's lost hope, it'd actuate his need to protect you from harm.

Even when on a personal mission to regain his memories & question whether he's a clone or not, his need to see you face to face & ensure not a single scratch is on you follows him. Where in any other situation this need was for someone else, Shadow would scoff in annoyance & get passive-aggressive with the individual of which he believes is "distracting him from his mission" but with you, it's not annoying, it's not burdensome, he needs to make sure what happened in the Ark with the military doesn't happen to you!

This feeling, this need to be your protector, to be the person you run to whenever you feel your safety is on the line, it practically consumes him, but not in a way where he feels he's suffering because of it, it's more so where he desires to see you smile at, what to everyone else is nothing but part of their mundane life, anything that catches your eye. Even if it feels almost suffocating, he'd much rather suffer through it for you than anyone else, others being unworthy in his eyes.

How could he ever find it burdensome? Find you burdensome? You're all he has left! Yes, it might bring up horrific memories he'd rather massacre to where not even an atom of them exist, but you also remind him of the pleasant times up in the Ark, up with Maria. Times where you three spent hours upon hours talking about everything & nothing at the same time, hours daydreaming about what you'll do if or when you get to Earth, all the sights you'll see & all the people you'll meet. He'd rather lose all his memories again than ever think of you being burdensome.

Shadow is respectful if you wish to walk about alone, yet he can't cease the fear of someone or something stronger than you or him snatching you away & so, he lurks in the shadows. Anything he considers a threat to you provokes memories to sickeningly play in his mind like a horror movie, witnessing Maria dying & screams twirling around him like broken music box, he reacts without a plan or thought.

Dragging the individual in the darkness when you're not looking, The ultimate life form would be more than glad to exhibit why he's humanity's protector, but also it's greatest danger. Usually after events like these, the recollection of the Ark always leads to him finding you, simply for comfort. He's aware, very aware how much of a danger he can & does pose to humanity, that weight & knowledge of knowing never fails to make him like he's been stabbed deeply yet bleeding internally. He wishes for the warmth of your embrace, he needs reassurance that, while aware it really isn't, Maria's demise wasn't his fault. He might've failed to save Maria, but he vows to protect you, even if it kills him as if that'll happen.
