Genuinely asking—what changes would you make to the adult gaang designs? :)
this is such a fun question thank u for enabling me. i mean i draw them as adults sometimes so also check out my /oldergaang tag if u want visuals (altho i also change my designs a lot because my art is nothing if not inconsistent) but if i was just going with like standard character designs like if i could redesign that hideous “old friends” poster for example…
aang: get rid of that fucking. chinstrap. don’t give him white man features because what the hell is that. and let him wear his off the shoulder monk robes from book 3 because he was slaying with that fit. actually the way aang is drawn in imbalance is basically perfect i would retain that design into adulthood. thank u peter wartman for all that u do….
katara: i don’t mind the older katara design (from the little we see of it) but it’s also not nearly as cunty and slayful as i would like. katara is genuinely interested in fashion and loves experimenting with clothes and hair and makeup, i refuse to believe that as she ages and has more resources to tailor her style to her own personal tastes she wouldn’t get a little funky with it. like she kind of just looks boring and uninspired in her older design, and that’s unacceptable to me because she should be hot. adult katara should be the hottest woman you have ever seen in your life. and she should be buff, also. shredded, even.
toph: any signifiers of copness are obviously unacceptable to me. but even more that than, it’s very important to me that older toph is distinctly butch. i think she would cut her hair the second she realizes that there is no reconciliation to be found with her parents and that there is no reason to adhere to those confucian values. and she would wear a lot of sleeveless outfits (sort of like the shirt korra wears in “korra alone”) to show off her biceps and also space bracelet (spacelet) that is her prized possession forever. and she’s just kind of a hot hippie butch legend . period.
zuko: in the old friends poster he literally looks like a lizard so just like. no. wtf. and i like his long hair in theory but i don’t like that it’s styled after ozai and not ursa, i think his hair would be shwoopier and frame his face more. and his robes should be less spiky and militaristic and more designed for comfort because that’s what makes him feel most like his true authentic self and he deserves that. also weird for a guy who is trying to demilitarize the fire nation to wear an armor-adjacent type of outfit. so mainly he’d just look softer and more like his mom.
sokka: i hate buff goatee whitewashed sokka that is some kind of demon. lok did so little with him and yet said so much (all of it egregiously wrong, ofc). sokka would be fairly tall (although not as tall as aang) and have defined muscle but in a sinewy, lanky way. and despite always having enough to eat he’d still look somewhat malnourished just because he’s constantly overworked and exhausted and never takes care of himself. and his ponytail would be longer but he’d still shave the sides. and the older he gets the darker his clothes get until he basically just wears black all the time because at some point he realizes that it’s more advantageous to remain culturally ambiguous if he’s gonna be a cosmopolitan. and he wears glasses (which were a gift from kuei). and sometimes he uses a cane because he didn’t sufficiently take care of his broken leg after the war ended and now he’s paying the price for it. and his cane has a blade inside too, but he rarely ever even pulls out the blade because he can incapacitate someone with just a wooden stick anyway. so he looks like if a nerd was a shadow was about to collapse at any given moment was secretly ruling the entire world. and he’s not in any sort of front-facing position of power whatsoever but he’s actually pulling all the strings from behind the scenes, and it’s exhausting. his eyebags are visible from outer space.
suki: i don’t even think there is a “canon” adult suki character design besides her in her kyoshi warrior armor and makeup but to me casual suki just starts dressing more like sokka. like the loose baggy sleeveless shirts (except in a lighter shade of blue bc kyoshi island colors) and tight pants and boots. it’s a very dykey look already and they’re basically girlfriend twins so their styles would merge even more than it already has within the show itself. like sometimes people think that sokka and suki are siblings because they dress so similarly and give off such a similar vibe and they’re just like “but we’re literally different ethnicities??? and also we are currently making out????”
okay bonus round bc i can’t just neglect them
azula: she cuts her hair really short and as an adult leaves it to shoulder length for the most part because that’s more comfortable for her. like zuko, she also starts dressing for comfort, and for a period in her late teens stops wearing makeup altogether. she gets back into wearing makeup as an adult, but she stops caring about whether or not she leaves the house with lipstick on, and it becomes more about the process for her than the result. she’s comfy and cute and dykey.
mai: sokka is her lesbian style icon so after her first haircut that was inspired by toph’s haircut to piss off her parents, she gets an undercut and starts wearing her hair in a ponytail like sokka. as she gets older she also gets more confident in her body and doesn’t feel like she needs to wear baggy long-sleeved clothing at all times or she’ll die. and she isn’t rail thin as an adult either because she starts letting herself eat more than a single grain of rice at a time. also, she gets a sword.
ty lee: she becomes a kyoshi warrior so she starts incorporating more blues and greens into her wardrobe, but also more oranges and yellows after she embraces her air nomad heritage. and she just dresses very colorfully and has a vast rotation of different cute little outfits. and i think she’d also experiment with different hairstyles once she has the freedom to define herself outside of the aesthetics expected of her. she looks beautiful always

(Beyblade Burst X Demon Slayer part 2)
(Based off of my Elemental Masters AU)
Boa
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Serpent Breathing, and he would know all five forms.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Molding Form. He can take the form of anything - human, demon, plant, or object - he sees; he can mimic them down to every tiny detail until it's impossible to tell the difference between the two. And if the globs of flesh he disconnects from his body touch any living or non living thing, he can affect its shape and size to his liking.
Rantaro
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Stone Breathing, and he would know all five forms.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Mountain Quake. His gigantic hands are strong enough to crush boulders on their own, but when he slams them onto the ground, he can create tremors that are violent enough to topple entire mountain ranges. If he slams his hands onto the ground in rapid succession, he can even create tremors strong enough to move tectonic plates.
Cuza
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Love Breathing (you know, because he's so lovable), and he would know all six forms.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Time Dance. If he moves his body in a specific sequence of movement and poses, he can affect the time stream around him. By completing a series of slow-moving poses, he can make those around him move slower. By completing a series of halting poses, he can make those around him freeze up altogether. By completing a series of poses and doing the poses in a backwards sequence, he can cause those around him to recreate their attacks as if they were going backwards in time. By completing a series of fast-moving poses, he can cause those around him to move faster - if only for them to bypass him completely before they reach him.
Orochi
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Sound Breathing, and he would know all five forms.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Sound Enrapture. When he sings, he can place all who listens under his control. His dreadlocks have silver bells woven into them, and he psychically move them to create background music to his hypnotic singing, which deepens the spell until it's nearly impossible to break out of it. The ringing of the bells can also induce a type of emotional trance into those who listen - frantic ringing can cause his opponent to become agitated and easily angered while slow rhythmic ringing can cause them to calm down. They also act as echo locators to help him determine where the enemy is.
Kit
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Thunder Breathing, though he would mostly use the Forms that send him high into the air.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Gravity Trap. He can psychically control the gravity around him to freeze his opponent in place, either stuck on the ground or suspended in the air. He can also focus the gravity around his opponents' limbs. He can choose to either use this ability to turn his enemy into his personal puppet - or to tear them limb from limb. Taking off his head with a sword is difficult, as he can simply use his Blood Demon Art to keep his head in place long enough for the wound to heal, thus keeping him alive. This power also gives him the ability to move around, as he doesn't have arms or legs.
Fubuki
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Water Breathing, and, being a prodigy under Shu, he would know all ten forms.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Deepest Depths. Every physical plane he comes into contact with becomes his own malleable liquid-like playground - people could be walking normally right above him while he's swimming through the earth below them as if it were water. If he swims fast and hard enough, he can affect the plane above him to the point that it acts like the sea during a storm, unmerciful and reaping upon those upon it. And if he uses it in actual water, it's ten times worse.
Yugo
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Beast Breathing to match his fiery personality, and he would know all ten forms (or fangs).
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Forest of Screams. The vines he grows from his body are formidable weapons on their own, but he can grow them well beyond his body, through the ground, and across entire forests. He can sense people from a distance through his vines and can have the vines ensnare those he senses - the vines are strong enough to crush his enemy if he so chooses. When his opponent is ensnared, he can absorb the life force of their body into his vines, effectively devouring them until they're nothing but dust. The vines are like coils of titanium - escaping them requires formidable strength.
Wakiya
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Thunder Breathing - the fastest of the Breathing Styles - and he would know all six forms.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Eternity Blitz. He can run at the speed of light; not a single being on Earth can outrun him, not even other demons. His speed makes it seem like he can teleport, or that he can pause time. He can devour an entire human in less than two seconds - and he can devour an entire town's population in less than five seconds.
Quon
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing style would be Serpent Breathing, and he would know all five forms (as well as throw in a few skateboard tricks here and there).
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Viper Strike. He has the lightning quick reflexes of a viper, and his tail is ten times as strong. The poison from his fangs has a variety of uses, depending on what he needs in the moment - it can either eat through any surface, instantly kill his prey, or turn his target into a snake, which he can then psychically control. He can deliver his poison by either biting his enemy or by spitting; he can reach 25 yards, no problem.
Naoki
As a Demon Slayer, his Breathing Style would be Water Breathing, though his favorite form would be Eleventh Form: Dead Calm.
As a demon, his Blood Demon Art would be Deadly Chill. His body can emit a cold air, and he can control how cold and how spread out the air goes. The temperature can range from simply sending a creepy chill down a person's spine to completely freezing the blood in their veins - to even freezing them solid. He can also control how fast the temperature drops; he can freeze a person in the blink of an eye, or slowly freeze them in a form of torture. The air can even go high into the atmosphere and freeze the water there, thus creating a small snowstorm.

"The other thing is that they were very frustrated because they couldn't convince the audience to stop rooting for Spike, they did not want the audience to say, 'Spike and Buffy forever,' that's just not what they were going for. They kept having me do worse and worse things trying to get people to realise.
"Even Spike at one point goes, 'Hey guys, I'm evil.' Because the audience refused to do that, they finally landed on that scene. They kept having me do worse and worse things and finally they're like, 'OK, we're just gonna have him do that to Buffy, like there's nothing else that we have that's going to make this point.' That was another reason for that scene.

The problem with that theory is Angel. They expected the audience to forgive Angel for all the horrible things he did because he was a demon when he did them. Which meant the audience was then prepared to use that same logic with Spike, especially since Angel had his soul forced on him, while Spike deliberately risked his life to get his back.
I was sorry to read doing the scene affected him so severely.

Tanjiro agora descansa junto a sua querida, aproveitando a paz que veio com a extinção do Onis e como se fosse uma recompensa pelos atos que o jovem fez em sua epoca como Demon Slaye, o Kamado, receberar uma doce surpresa.

Tanjiro Kamado:
Ele corria, mas não conseguia alcançá-la. Cansaço percorria o seu corpo e um grande peso fazia com que o jovem fosse incapaz de continuar. Medo, era isso, não era? Era esse sentimento que ainda o fazia continuar, sim... O medo de perdê-la o impedia de desistir.
Ele estava perto, mas não o suficiente. Então, o corpo dela partiu em dois e caiu na sua frente como uma carcaça insignificante e desprezível para o ser sobrenatural que trouxe o seu fim.
Ele abriu a boca, mas demorou para que seu grito fosse proferido. O fim chegou, mas não para ele e sim para ela.
Em um ato inconsciente o Kamado mais velho despertou e sentou-se em seu futon de maneira de forma brusca, a visão que passará diante dele a alguns momentos atrás era inexistente? Havia sido apenas um sonho ruim? Um pesadelo?
Virando seu olhar para o lado esquerdo do futon ele sentiu um alívio ao perceber que ao seu lado encontrava sua amada. Um sorriso atravessou o seu rosto e levou a sua mão ao rosto da moça que ainda dormia.
– Ainda bem, que bom que você está segura. _ o ruivo falou em um sussurro. – Fico feliz que você consegue dormir tranquilamente. _ ele completou.
– Eu também ficaria feliz que você dormisse um pouco a noite. _ a jovem que até pouco tempo parecia que estava adormecida recitou com uma voz cansada, assustando o seu marido.
– S/n, você deveria está dormindo. _ ele falou preocupado.
– Eu digo o mesmo. _ a jovem de (T/c) falou.
– Bem... Mas eu não estou com sono...
– Tanjiro. _ S/n repreendeu o marido, que encolheu os ombros com o tom de irritação que era proferido pela moça.
– Perdão, mas você entende. _ justificava-se o Kamado. – Não é tão fácil repousar com tantas memórias e traumas, é como se... Mesmo com o fim daquela época não houvesse ocorrido e sempre vivesse aqui dentro. _ ele levou uma das mãos a cabeça e deixou lá.
S/n, que antes possuía uma face cansada, agora possuía um semblante sério e preocupado, ela sentou-se no futon e pegou a mão do marido.
– Você pode descansar também Tanjiro, aquilo, a era em que os Onis vagavam por essa terra, já se fora há muito tempo. _ ela falou apertando a mão de seu amado. – Isso graças a você, os Hashiras, a Nezuko, o Zenitsu, o Inosuke, a Aoi e a Kanao, graças a vocês. _ então um sorriso foi presenteado a Tanjiro, que o contagiou e o fez sorrir logo em seguida.
– Você tem razão, S/n. _ ele a puxou para um abraço e a segurou firme, e então, um cheiro peculiar atingiu seu olfato. – Tem algum estranho, será que a algo lá fora? Será que...
– Tanjiro, acalma-se. _ S/n segurou o rosto de Tanjiro. – Não há nada lá fora. _ explicou.
– Mas eu sinto algo, eu não reconheço... Eu... _ então o ruivo foi interrompido.
– Não há nada lá fora. _ logo, um suspiro foi liberado pelos lábios da (T/p). – Eu pensei que pudesse esconder por mais tempo, entretanto meu belo marido possui um nariz muito especial. _ Ela sorriu ainda mais, sem soltar o rosto de Tanjiro, cujo mesmo ainda estava confuso.
Movendo a sua mão até que pudesse segurar a do marido, a jovem não retirava seu olhar dos olhos do Kamado, que mais pareciam grandes pedras avermelhadas forjadas por chamas ardentes do coração de algum Deus.
– S/n, você está me assustando, o que está acontecendo. _ perguntou o (Maior/Menor).
– Recorda-se de quando éramos jovens caçadores que sonhavam em um mundo livre e seguro para termos nossa própria família? _ S/n perguntou segurando apertando firmemente as mãos do marido.
O Kamado acenou com a cabeça com ânsia e querendo uma resposta logo.
– Agora temos um mundo livre e seguro... _ então algumas lágrimas brotavam nos olhos da moça. – E logo, teremos nossa família...
Os olhos tons de rubis de Tanjiro acompanharam os da sua companheira e em seguida, lágrimas grandes rolavam pela face angelical do Ex-Caçador.

hiii knives :) sorry about the sunday demons :-( how was ur day otherwise? mine was pretty good i had my boyf cut my hair and its shorter than ive had it in awhile but it rules because its a mohawk :)

my day has been Okey Dokey i got up at around 10 and then went back to sleep like an hour later... went on a walk to the park with my doggie and got a Yummy Milkshake. did some commissions.. started an oc ref... called with lili...... took a shower........ yeah my day has been pretty good :)

Ах да забыла сказать, я короче помру как я питалась нарисовать Sweet Mayhem and Rex (Raptor), вот у меня теперь вышло нарисовать её, ну а новий арт будет намного позже, и ещё кое-что, найдёте в Spotify песню, Demon slaye opening, но я кстати уже нашла, оно такое классно.

On the other hand, it could easily fall down the wrong side of the slippery slope into majorly bad, rehashing things best left demolished in the past. Also, recycling ideas was not the best look. But, if it worked the way she envisioned, with a hope and a prayer…it would eclipse that concern.
