♡He’s in love with you, and as his first priority is being a demon slayer to turn Nezuko back into a human, he does the best he could to hide the feelings and/or ignore them.

♡Of course he wants to be with you after this is all over. Actually, he wants to get with you as fast as he could. (But priorities first! …right?)

♡At first, he was embarrassed when he called you, not by your name. Although all that previous embarrassment was quick to wash away after he saw your reaction. Now he just has to hope he doesn’t fall for you even harder.

You hummed silently to yourself while on the very top of the ladder, hanging up colorful decorations all of the butterfly mansion. With the idea from Aoi and Kanao, everyone was decorating the estate as a surprise for Shinobu. It was your job to hang decorations, Aoi to bake, and Kanao to pass out invitations to the Hashira’s.

“Y/n! Be careful!” Tanjiro who had been below you was holding onto the wobbling ladder you were standing on. He had helped you already hang up banners in half the estate. Now there was only the other half to go. And despite you being the one on the top of the latter, Tanjiro seemed to be way more anxious at you being up there.

Your body stretched forward in an attempt to hook up the end of the lavender banner to the other side of the wall. Without realizing, you began to wobble in the slightest, stressing out Tanjiro in fear of you falling.

“Dear, be careful!” You quickly paused your actions. Thankfully, you had already hooked up the end of the banner. You felt your face get hot as you looked down at Tanjiro, checking to see if he had coincidentally called someone else dear. But he had been staring right at you.

At first, he seemed confused on why you became to flustered out of no where. Until he realized what he said. His own face turned a dark red as he tried to explain himself. But he only became a stuttering mess.

Taisho Secret!: After what happened you tripped off of the ladder in embarrassment and Tanjiro had to catch you, making him blush more.

˚ʚagatsuma zenitsuɞ˚

♡Let’s be completely honest, he’s head over heels in love with you and not afraid to show it. He calls you pet names all the time. He calls you his love, future lover, and his soulmate.

♡Sure the first time he called you a cute name and complimented you, you blushed profusely. But eventually, you got used to the pet names.

♡Zenitsu, for one, will never forget the day you got flustered from him calling you a pet name. As for you, you tried your best to forget it at how embarrassing the whole scenario had been.

You laid on the soft futon on the floor, zenitsu’s futon being right beside yours as tanjiro’s was on Zenitsu’s side, Inosuke being on the other end. You had a long night and were mostly just happy you made friends and wouldn’t be alone on your journey as a demon slayer.

However one thing that had made your day seem extra slow and long was one of the boys you met. Zenitsu. He was adorable but he was relentless in trying to get you to be his spouse.

Your back had been facing zenitsu as you were trying to finally get some sleep. That was until zenitsu snapped you out of your thoughts by poking your back repeatedly. With a small sigh you turned the other way to face Zenitsu.

As every other time you saw him, he had tears in his eyes. “What happened, Zenitsu?” You asked, your eyes half lidded as you just wanted sleep. It took everything in you to not pass out in the middle of your conversation with him.

That conversation had mostly just been him talking to you. But you couldn’t pay attention to a single thing you said. “Love? Are you okay?” Your eyes suddenly widened as you felt yourself blush.

“AWW! YOU’RE BLUSHING!”

“Zenitsu, Go to sleep!” Tanjiro yelled, throwing a pillow right at the boys head as Inosuke began laughing loudly.

Taisho Secret!: Zenitsu teased you about your flustered state for weeks and wouldn’t drop the topic. He believed even more that you two were meant for each other.

˚ʚhashibira inosukeɞ˚

♡In a situation like this with him, your most definitely not going to be the embarrassed one, even if it is you that received the compliment.

♡Inosuke has pride. A lot of pride. So the moment he ‘accidentally’ compliments you, his face is secretly burning a bright red. Thankfully his boat mask had been there to cover for him.

♡Getting a compliment from inosuke doesn’t happen very often. Especially when the two of you aren’t even in a relationship together. So you better cherish the moment while you can.

Inosuke calling you strong was just about the only compliment you received from him. And sometimes, it didn’t even seem like a compliment with the way he sounds so sarcastic and whenever he says it. And he also always brings up his own strength in the ‘compliment’ calling himself stronger than you.

And from Inosuke, you never would have expected to get a non-sarcastic compliment. Especially when it comes to your looks.

You, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and him all planned on going to a small festival nearby just for the fun of it. And for a break from slaying demons. And as the only thing you wear every day now being the demon slayer uniform, you didn’t think it would hurt to dress up a little.

Being out of the corps uniform felt comforting in a way. Despite still having to bring your katana just in case, it felt nice to feel like a normal person your age.

You walked outside, seeing only inosuke outside, dressed up and out of the usual pants he would wear. But the boar mask remained. You stood beside the boy, waiting for the other two to come.

“You look pretty..” You heard a Mutter from inosuke, making you shocked. You turned over to the boy with a questioning look on your face.

“Did you-“

“No!” He yelled quickly, crossing his arms. A small blush dusted your cheeks as you moved your arms over to his boar mask to take it off. The moment you did, you noticed his red face making yourself turn red as well.

Taisho Secret!: When Inosuke told you that you looked pretty, Tanjiro heard and brought it up to you during the festival making your face turn pink. Inosuke saw and felt a little jealous but he’ll never admit that.

˚ʚshinazugawa genyaɞ˚

♡He spoke without thinking. And the very moment it slipped out of his mouth, it took no time for him to turn the darkest shade or red.

♡You immediately turned a light red but the moment Genya began apologizing for calling you that and assumingely making you uncomfortable, you felt really bad.

♡100% had to assure him multiple times that it was completely fine and you didn’t mine one bit. He stopped apologizing but he was stiff as a board the entire day as he couldn’t shake off what had happened.

You and Genya had both chosen to visit a small lake that day. The two of you were simply in the water, splashing each other and staying afloat.

While not paying attention, you didn’t realize Genya staring at you with a small smile on his face. The moment you saw, your head tilted to the side. You eventually waved your hands in his face to break him out of his small trance.

Although even that didn’t really seem to work.

“Genya?” You asked before moving your hand back to your side.

“You’re so lovely.”

He paused. You paused. His face slowly turned a dark red and so did you. He was quick to put his hands up in defense.

“I’M SORRY!-“

“NO GENYA, DON’T WORRY-“

Taisho Secret!: Genya was ashamed thinking he may have upset you. So when the little lake day ended, he felt super guilty, thinking he made things awkward. Sanemi soon got worried at his brothers embarrassed state but Genya refused to say what was wrong.

˚ʚtokito muichiroɞ˚

♡Poor Muichiro has horrible memory and everyone knows that. In some cases, having horrible memory can be a good thing, and in other cases, it’s really bad. For obvious reasons, it’s mostly bad.

♡But when this happened, Muichiro had a win win situation. Muichiro cares deeply about you and out of all the Hashira’s, he only ever hangs out with you. For that reason your company means a lot to him, even if neither of you knew it.

♡Mitsuri and Tengen had also both informed Muichiro about his feelings for you. So when he found out he was in love with you, he sort of forgot that he wasn’t dating you. More so with the way you’re both always clingy to each other.

You walked around the main garden with nothing else to do. Muichiro was practically clinging onto your arm as he too had nothing else to do. Honestly, unexpected visits from him had gotten normal so you never payed much attention to it.

After a while of walking around, you took a small seat on the grass, Muichiro soon after sat right next to you, a blank expression on his face as he put his head on your shoulder.

It was something he always did. It took a while of getting used to it as your face would always flush at first. Now it had been comforting.

“Love, what are you doing tomorrow?” Muichiro asked, gazing up at the sky as his head was still placed on your shoulder.

“I-“ Right when you about to answer, you paused. Your face slowly began turning a light shade of red as you stiffened. Muichiro felt it, soon after bringing his head off your shoulder. He gave you a small head tilt, amused at your reaction.

“Mui..?” You asked, waiting to see if he even realized what he said. With the amused expression, you were sure he did. “You called me-“

“Are we not dating?” His amused expression faltered as he gave you a more genuinely confused one. You blushed more, not sure at what to say.

Taisho Secret!: Since Muichiro never got a direct answer from you, he spent and entire month thinking the two of you were dating and so Mitsuri had to later explain he hadn’t asked you out yet. Maybe that’s why you got so embarrassed when Muichiro told Zenitsu the two of you were dating.

ur on a mission in a small town

tryna figure out where this demon is hiding

and ur sneaking around an alleyway of some type when all of a sudden you hear the wind from a blade coming towards you and a loud concerned voice yelling

“GET OUT OF THE WAY!!”

and ur tackled to the ground

a warm body covering yours as you tuck ur head and shut ur eyes

when u open them again the warm body pulls back to reveal a man with the most beautiful burgundy colored hair and eyes

he’s searching you frantically for injuries

“are you alright?!”

“listen you have to get out of here! there’s a demon here!”

this shakes you out of your shocked state

pushing him off of you and standing up you unsheathe your sword saying, “i know there’s a demon here, i was sent to kill it. thanks for the save though”

his eyes widen

he stands himself and says “well i’m coming with you.”

and unsheathes his own sword

together you and the burgundy haired man take down the demon terrorizing the town

and when it’s all over

you sit down to take a breath and assess the small cut on your cheek

when a warm hand lifts ur chin

“here let me see it”

wiping the blood from your cheek and carefully applying a bandage he smiles at you gently

“it’s nice to meet you, soulmate.”

you look at him confused until it hits you

“GET OUT OF THE WAY”

you quickly pull your chin from his grasp and begin to roll up the sleeve of your shirt revealing those exact words from earlier in scratchy handwriting scrawled across your right arm

looking at him with wide eyes as he grins seeing the words inked on your skin

he rolls up his own sleeve “i know there’s a demon here, i was sent to kill it.” is there on his left arm in your own handwriting

the very first words you said to him an hour prior to killing the demon

“i’m tanjiro” he says grabbing ur hand and helping you stand

pulling him into a hug you whisper, “it’s nice to meet you too, soulmate”

Tanjiro Kamado

You two were on a mission together to kill a demon who was killing people in a village

It was night already and you were both on guard, with backs facing each other with you looking one direction and Tanjiro looking the other, ready to strike at anything to pops up

But moments passed and nothing happened so you both turned around and faced each other in confusion, you were about to speak up until Tanjiro look panicked and pulled you towards him because of the demon that suddenly popped up behind you

With the both of you killing the demon, you both walked towards the inn happily with having a successful mission

Tanjiro thought you were perfect and seeing that demon behind you made him panic and acted before thinking, and Tanjiro couldn’t get it out of his head at how close you both were and was blushing at the thought

Tanjiro was ready to sleep when he heard you outside the door, he slid the door open and saw you nervously standing there

“Thank you for… um… saving me and goodnight—sleep well!” You said hurriedly before kissing his cheeks and running away back to your room

Tanjiro stood there in shock, processing what happened before his face flushed red and a giddy smile grew on his face, he was so happy and hoped that you returned his feelings and went to sleep with a smile

Giyuu Tomioka

He’s always admired you and you were the only hashira he actually went out of his way to talk to, you were so beautiful to look at and he was so attracted you and couldn’t get enough of you

Giyuu would often ask you if you wanted to go out with him to eat and would even give you a small gift, which he covered up with saying that he saw it in a stall while out in a mission and thought you would appreciated it

But the truth was that he’s always looking the perfect gift for you and spends a lot of time out contemplating what you would like and which one he should get you and stands there thinking for a good 7 minutes while the shop owners wait for him impatiently

“I happened to see this while out and it reminded me of you.” He said while looking away from you so you wouldn’t notice his flushed cheeks and becomes even more flushed when you thank him

You’ve asked Giyuu to go out with to eat and Giyuu was nervous while getting ready, but when you were both sat down, he felt so relaxed and happy to spend time with someone so special to him that he couldn’t help but smile the whole time

After a while has passed, he offered to walk you to your estate and you happily agreed. The whole walk was spent with you laughing and the both of you smiling and talking happily.

When you were both in front of your estate you faced him nervously and he looked at you in confusion when you pulled out a small box from your pocket and gave it to him.

He opened it and looked at the small charm in awe, you explained to him that you had one on your blade similar to that one and hoped to having charms. He smiled at you and thank you with flushed cheeks which you nodded and felt your cheeks warm as well

He was confused when he saw you were still nervous but was left shocked when he felt your soft lips against his cheek, when you pulled away he looked at you with such a soft small and a pink hue covering his face.

Maybe it wouldn’t hurt for him to stay over at your estate.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

It was obvious to everyone who much he favored you and how big of a crush he has on you, it would often end up with him getting teased by the other hashiras who would either make fun of him of him or give him advice, which albeit wasn’t the best

“So unflamboyant! Now imagine what [y/n] would say id they saw you angry like this!” Tengen teased him as Shinobu next to him laughed, “I’m shocked that she still hasn’t said she doesn’t like you!” Shinobu egged on while Sanemi felt like he was going to snap at any moment

The next day, Sanemi was just trying to enjoy his meal alone until Mitsuri and Kyojuro came up to him to try to help him.

“You know, the way to a persons heart is food and gifts! I’m sure [y/n] will appreciate it!” Mitsuri said, she was very delighted to help a fellow hashira with romance problems.

Kyojuro next to her nodded with his usual big smile “I agree! I’m sure [y/n] will reciprocate your feelings if you confess!” Mitsuri nodded furiously at that and was getting happier at the thought of a potential new couple

Although Sanemi was always angry whenever they would give him advice, he still remembered it and he decided that today was the day he was going to give you something today since a fellow hashira with memory problems made a snarky remark at him for being a ‘coward.’

He was outside your nervously estate with a box in hand and was about to knock when you opened the door, seeing you made him forget his words, you looked amazing like always and seeing your surprised face made him think that you looked even cuter than usual

“What a coincidence! I was about to find you and ask if you wanted to go out for a walk!” You said, happy to see him.

He felt his face get warm and tsked and shoved the box towards you with a ‘here!’ You looked at the wrapped box and unwrapped it to see food, did he cook this for you?

“I made too much so I thought you would want some.” It was obvious lie but you didn’t question it and just laughed and thanked him.

“Thank you, Sanemi.” You said with warm cheeks and a gentle smile which made him blush even more, but now he felt like he was going to explode when he felt you kiss his cheek. Your lips felt so warm and soft.

“Let’s go on that walk later.” He said with a chuckle and brought you back inside your este and closed the door behind him

a/n: i really enjoy inosuke. when i first started watching the series, i was enjoying it and everything, but inosuke's introduction was where i felt like i went from casually enjoying the series to knowing i was gonna become obsessed with it. and after i finished reading the manga, i love genya a lot. he's so precious and i thought it would be fun to write a character like him into a scenario like this. enjoy~

TANJIRO KAMADO

Having a crush on Tanjiro is very easy because he’s a very kind and likable person, who would easily open up to you as a dear friend.

Tanjiro is definitely oblivious to your feelings towards him at first. Because he's oblivious to his own feelings. He likes you, a lot. But, he likes a lot of people, almost everyone in fact. It takes him a while to figure out that he likes you in a romantic way before he understands how you feel.

“I like you, Tanjiro,” you confess.

He smiles, widely. It’s nice to know his friend who he cares so deeply about also holds him in high regard. “I like you too, (Y/N).”

And in your mind he just returned your feelings, and so you embrace him. Tanjiro hugs you back, thinking, aw this is nice.

Then you pulled back to give him a peck on the lips.

Tanjiro’s eyes widened and his entire body went stiff. Friends don’t kiss each other on the mouth, he thinks. The only people he had ever seen kiss on the mouth before were his mother and father.

Finally, he got a clue. You didn’t like him as a friend, you like liked him, the way his mother and father loved one another. That was the unique feeling he had felt towards you and that you felt towards him.

Then he kisses you back, leaving you none the wiser.

Two years into your relationship is when you learnt that Tanjiro had basically started dating you by accident.

INOSUKE HASHIBIRA

Do not expect this wild man to figure out you are crushing on him.

He can sense that you behave differently around him than others like your heart rate is elevated, and you appear more flushed. But he would assume you are intimidated by the King of the Mountains.

If you’re crushing on Inosuke, the best way to get his attention and, ideally, earn his affection is to prove to him that you are a strong person. Inosuke is attracted to strong people, whether that’s being physically strong or even just having a strong personality.

Also, feeding him. Kinda like a stray dog.

When you finally get the courage to confess to him and say, “I like you”. He just kinda stares at you, waiting for you to give him your news.

Like, he already knew you liked him. Of course, you did. He’s great.

When he tells Zenitsu and Tanjiro about it, the former freaks out at how stupid Inosuke is. Tanjiro explains that you like him in a romantic way, and suddenly the little wheels in Inosuke’s head finally turn.

Everything Inosuke probably knows about courting a mate comes from observing animals in the mountains. So, he probably brings you some berries and nuts he foraged. And, like, a dead squirrel.

He picked a fight with Tanjiro and Zenitsu right in front of you to show you that he could give you the strongest children.

Eventually, you realize that this is Inosuke’s way of telling you that he returns your feelings. This is great because, at first, you were heartbroken that he rejected your confession. Then you were profoundly confused.

For the rest of the day, Inosuke walks around with you with his chest puffed out, loudly marking his territory so everyone knows you're his.

GENYA SHINAZUGAWA

Your crush began when you realized that beneath his tough and aggressive appearing exterior, he’s actually quite soft and kind.

Unfortunately, trying to get closer to Genya is very difficult.

Anytime you try to talk to Genya, his brain stops functioning. All he can think is “(Y/N) is talking to me, she looks so cute and smells so nice. Wait, what is she saying? Oh no! I wasn’t listening! Wait, she’s looking at me! She’s waiting for a response! She has such pretty eyes-”

From your perspective, he’s just standing there with flushed cheeks barely getting mumbles out as he tries to hide away.

Genya’s mutual crush on you is evident to everyone on planet earth, actually. He lacks the ability to be subtle about it.

And unless you’re as dense as a doorknob, you realize it too.

Or you don’t and Gyomei tells you, so that you can unburden Genya by either returning his feelings or rejecting them (Gyomei is a lowkey shipper, he always knows who's crushing on who and he’s never wrong).

You decide to confess because you realize that if you don’t, Genya might never be able to do so. Bby boy can fight demons daily but can barely say a complete sentence in your presence. You need to take the first step.

When you ask to speak with him, he freezes again and starts mumbling, and you decide to just push forward with your confession.

“I like you, Genya.”

Excuse me? What did you say? It’s already so hard for Genya to properly focus when you are standing so close to him, but he swore that you said that you “liked” him? Which doesn’t seem possible.

“Y-you do?” He asked, his voice was so quiet and unsure.

You nod, excitedly. The corners of Genya’s mouth quirk up into a shy smile, he can’t believe a cute, incredible, and kind girl likes him. He turns deep red and just kinda nods, “yeah.”

If you hug him, he may die of happiness.

Synopsis:

You are a demon slayer who has been sent to the swordsmith village to patrol for demons while also waiting for your demon slayer blade (or any weapon) to be repaired. While on your stay you decide to take a relaxing dip in the hot springs. You didn't expect another demon slayer to catch you there, especially not them.

Note: This story contains heavily hinted pining.Reader Is GN! and no pronouns are used. But this is my first time writing gn so please forgive me if it's not the best. Also this is sfw but the character kinda catches you slightly naked.. it's a hot spring of course.

All you needed right now was a relaxing way of spending your afternoon. You had spent the whole night patroling the area, no demons were spotted but you didn't get much sleep as a result of you taking it upon yourself to be on watch for the night. You just needed to relax your body from being on high alert all night. You figured dipping in the hot springs would be a good way to do this.

You got up to the hot springs, the place looked deserted, perfect! You started to remove all pieces of your demon slayer uniform. In no time at all you were in the hot spring waters. You relaxed there in the steamy water for quite a while, feeling alot more at peace. You stood up, you were about to make your way through the hot spring and make your exit, feeling you spent enough time there. Just as you got up you looked to where you came in to see Tanjiro standing there. Your face was flushed, and you couldn't tell, but so was his. He stayed silent for a second before putting on a bright smile, he was happy to see you, but he didn't think he'd see you like this, here.

" [Last name]! Hey! I didn't think I'd see you here! How are you?!" He asked in his usual happy, polite tone, his voice was a little louder than needed, he couldn't really control the volume of his voice when he was nervous. "Um.. hey Tanjiro! Tanjiro was extremely sweet and said with blushy cheeks that if you ever wanted to do this again he'd love to do this again soon! You couldn't help but get super happy. Hopefully you guys will do more things like this in the future!

From underwater, you assumed it was Tanjiro, he did know that you were gonna be here, and you told him that he should feel free to join you. You started making your way to the muscular figure underwater, once you were Infront of him you popped up from under the water with a happy smile.

"Hey Tanjiro-" You were cut off when you realized it wasn't Tanjiro, Rather, it was Genya, the Big, Tall guy who you've noticed while on your stay here. His eyes pierced into your soul, he looked just as shocked. "I- Im so sorry Shinazugawa San! I thought you were Tanjiro!" You said apologetically. You then realised that his cheeks were completely red and he looked like he was about internally combust. He started to stutter, however not actually saying any coherent words. "Um, Shinazugawa San, are you ok? You seem... Panicked?"

He had no idea where to put his eyes, he didnt want to stare at you, but you looked so... Good.... But he was couldn't stare! That's weird and would give you the wrong idea. He feels you have already caught him staring at you multiple times during your stay.

He started to stutter again, his cheeks becoming redder. He then stammered in an angry tone, "T- The hell!? Im Fine! Im Not blushing! God damn it, leave me alone!". He then started to hurriedly exit the Hot spring, completely flushed. You had no idea what just happend, you didn't mention his blush, and why was he so angry when you just asked about his well being? You were rather confused, but you started to smile to yourself, you could tell he was just flustered.

You saw him a while later while you were eating the dinner that had been served to you. You look up to see Genya sitting across the room, staring at you once more. You smiled at him kindly, making him jump. He was extremely flustered. He turned his head away, acting upset, but for a second you swore you saw a small smile on his face.

Just like Tanjirou he was training hard hoping to get stronger to get revenge on the demons who took you away from him. Zenitsu hopes that he will see you again, always dreaming of you. He hoped that in the after life he can hold you again and tell you how much he loves you.

Inosuke ~

You both were separated during battle. But once you were killing a demon you went to go fine Inosuke hoping he was okay but you found him struggling with a demon. When you came close the demon took notice of you and went to attack you. Inosuke tried to go and help but he was having trouble getting up. But while he was struggling you were too. As you were fighting off you turned to call out for Inosuke but in the split second you felt a sharp object impale you thought your chest. Inosuke rushed over attacking the demon making sure it died. He walked over to you telling you to get up and that the demon was dead but you didn't answer him. Inosuke went over to you trying to listen to your heartbeat but you were silent and cold not warm. It started to sink into him that you were gone but Inosuke was stubborn enough to hold onto you not wanting to let go of you, he didn't even get to say goodbye. He would fight anyone who got close to you.

For a long time Inosuke was more aggressive as you were the only reason he was calm. It took a couple of talking with Zenitsu and Tanjirou to know that you wouldn't want him to be like this. Inosuke did his best to be happy but he missed you every day. Inosuke hoped that one day you will be right by him petting his hair and telling him everything will be alright.

“You’re head will drop from your body before you touch him!” you yelled, your eyes burning in a way Tanjiro had never seen before. “I won’t let you-“ You were cut off by Gyturora’s sickle burying itself into your stomach.

“Y/N!” Tanjiro yelled as you let out a gasp and collapsed to the ground.

After the fight- you woke back in the butterfly mansion, with Tanjiro and Nezuko by your side.

As soon as they noticed you had awoken, Nezuko started crying and gave you a big hug.

Tanjiro just smiled at you with tears in his eyes. You looked at him.

Then the rest was history

Now don’t get it wrong, it still took years for both of you to confess.

He did so first, after he came back from an especially difficult mission. As soon as he returned, he was greeted with a warm hug from yourself.

He returned it, burying his face in your neck and taking in your scent. He held you tightly, afraid to let go.

“I love you.”

That was all you needed. You of course returned his love.

Dating Tanjiro is bliss

He dates with the intention of marriage. Ever since he realized how much he loves you, he’s been fantasizing of marrying you and starting a family of his own.

That was until you were stopped by an arm moving in front of you. “I told you not that one.” Kyojuro frowned, making you laugh at his desperate attempt to make you change into a plain kimono.

“Alright, you don’t have to change, but let me answer the door.” Kyojuro informed you confidently before walking over to the door.

You crossed your arms, already having a feeling of knowing what he was going to do. “Y/n’s not home.” Kyojuro spoke, not even giving Zenitsu time to say anything.

“kyojuro.” You spoke out, the flame pillars eyes widening as he knew he’d been caught. He mumbled a ‘dang it’ before moving out of the way to let you outside with the yellow-haired boy.

Your eyes softened and you gave a gentle smile at Zenitsu before grabbing the bouquet from his hands and kissing his cheek, making his face go pink.

“You look to pretty, Y/n!” Zenitsu yelled cheerfully before grabbing your hand to rush off to the festival you two would be going to together.

Kyojuro sighed sadly before closing the door to sulk inside at the thought of his younger sister being with someone.

❦taisho secret❦: kyojuro knows about how kindly and sweetly zenitsu treats you. He’s seen how much of a gentleman the young boy can be but he still tells you he doesn’t trust you dating him. Deep down he knows otherwise. You’re practically perfect for each other.

❥kyojuro doesn’t worry as much about inosuke breaking your heart. He worries more about the fact inosuke might physically hurt by complete accident.

❥your older brother is protective and of course he tries to see what the two of you are up to sometimes. But every time he tries to look for you, the both of you are already gone and already all over the place.

“Kyo…I’ve had that for a year already. So it wasn’t Inosuke if that’s what you’re thinking.” You sighed, face palming as Kyojuro sheepishly smiled.

“I know Inosuke can be rough at times but that doesn’t mean he’s like that with me.” You reassured your brother, earning a nod from him in response. “Now, I promised Inosuke that I’d meet up with him later.” You smiled before hugging your brother and running off.

Kyojuro turned around to head back inside before seeing a small but neatly wrapped present with a bow on it. He grabbed it before realizing it was meant for Inosuke. And of course, you’d forgotten it.

The pillar immediately chased after you and by the way you were calling for the other males name, it made it easy for him to track you down.

Just as he was about to approach you, he suddenly saw Inosuke sneak up behind you with a smirk on his face.

You felt a pair of arms wrap around you before suddenly lifting you up from behind. You let out a yelp of shock as Inosuke twirled in the air before finally setting you down.

A laugh left your lips as you then cupped Inosuke’s cheeks, planting a short kiss on his lips. “Hmph.” Kyojuro huffed before walking off, completely forgetting about dropping off the gift you left behind.

❦taisho secret❦: inosuke, from the corner of his eye, saw kyojuro standing there and waiting to approach you. When he saw the flame pillar walk off, he laughed and for an odd reason, took pride in the fact he was able to “scare off” a hashira. Yeah. “Scare off.”

˚ʚshinazugawa genyaɞ˚

❥kyojuro doesn’t know much, or more so anything about Genya, just that you love him. But the very moment he finds out he’s the brother of the ill-mannered wind pillar, he’s so quick to become skeptical.

♥he’s never met Genya personally and he trusted you enough to go on two dates with the boy before he met him, but once he hears the boys last name is shinazugawa, he immediately asks you if he can meet him.

❥genya already gets nervous enough when he’s around you so when you told him your older brother, a hashira at that, wanted to meet him, he was slowly dying on the inside.

Genya sat seiza style, staring at the flame pillar right in front of him. Beads of sweat were dripping down genya’s forehead as he thought of what to say. He wished you were there. Hell, even from your own room you were able to sense the awkwardness. If anything, you wished you were there.

You do badly felt like leaving your room and going over there to start a conversation for them but Kyojuro had so politely asked you to stay in your room. A long and dramatic sigh left you as you thought of what to do to pass time…

Eventually, you had fallen asleep. Only to wake up moments later to loud chattering. Curiously, you peeled your head out the door.

Shockingly, Kyojuro and Genya had been happily chatting away. Kyojuro had long forgotten this was the brother of someone so rude. And Genya had long forgotten this was pillar he was talking to. This was his lovers older sibling that he was talking to.

You smiled but instead of intervening, you retreated back to your room to let the two enjoy their time together.

❦taisho secret❦: because of the long awkward silence and the scary aura kyojuro was emitting, genya felt the need to speak up first. So the conversation had oh so conveniently started by genya asking what kyojuro’s favorite food was. It then ended up into a really long conversation about various topics.

❥ Kyojuro had no reason to dislike his fellow pillar, Muichiro. Up until he found out the two of you had began dating. It wasn’t even Muichiro’s fault. Your older brother had simply hated the idea of you dating anyone.

♥just because kyojuro knows the youngest hashira well doesn’t mean he trusts him with you. Especially with the harsh attitude the most pillar has. He’s afraid you’ll easily get hurt by him.

❥while he’s protective of you and doesn’t want you dating, Kyojuro can’t deny the fact he finds it cute that Muichiro’s eyes only sparkle when they’re on you or when he’s with you.

Kyojuro sat in your pillar estate as you were getting ready in your room. Muichiro had asked you earlier if he could come pick you up to take you somewhere as a surprise. Of course you agreed, curious as to where your boyfriend planned on taking you. When you told your older brother he insisted on coming over to you estate which you were fine with.

A few short hesitant knocks were heard at your estate door, making kyojuro snap out of a small trance. “Kyo, can you get that? It must be ‘chiro!” You yelled out from your room, fixing your kimono once more before you left on your date.

Kyojuro stood up from his seat, walking over to the door. Opening it, he found Muichiro, dressed in a yukata which the flame pillar quickly recognized as the one Muichiro wore on his first date with you.

Conveniently, Kyojuro immediately thought the worst. Muichiro had a bouquet in one hand and a box of chocolates in the other hand.

The flame pillars first thought was that the young boy had maybe come to apologize for something drastic. “Why are you dressed all fancy?” Kyojuro asked, inspecting Muichiro as he only tilted his head.

“Well…I want to ask your sister if I can be her boyfriend.” Muichiro responded bluntly as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

“But…You’re already dating her..”

“really?” Muichiro questioned, his eyes sparkling for a quick second.

“Actually-” Kyojuro thought about it. Maybe if he played his cards right it’d be like the two of you never dated. But then you’d think your boyfriend stood you up. He frowned. “Yes.” He sighed.

The moment Muichiro saw you exit your room in your beautiful kimono, Kyojuro’s words quickly left the boys mind.

“Mui!” You cheered before pulling the boy into a hug before kissing his cheeks softly. Muichiro’s stoic face remained but a red hue covered his cheeks.

“Y/n, will you be my mine..?”

“Love…We’re already dating…”

❦taisho secret❦: the reason you weren’t exactly shocked when Muichiro asked you to be his girlfriend was because it’s happened before. Three times, actually. And each time he gets really excited at the thought of you two dating even though you already have been dating for almost a year.

Yeah no he’s actually tired this time too

you both pulled Inosuke and Zenitsu away from each other like they were feral cats

Inosuke actually hissed at Tanjiro, funnily enough

you asks one of the girls to make tea for you both, and then sits in a bed, sipping it with you.

he knew you were tired right off the bat, and promises to tend to you! He actually put in a daisy to your tea as it symbolizes love (he felt roses would be too cliche)

he holds your hands tightly and warmly, and listens to your breathing,

he doesn’t want to talk just yet, afraid he may say the wrong thing

luckily, you talk first

”I really love you.” You whisper, before taking your hand away from his to rub your aching and pounding forehead.

“i love you too.” He whispers. “do you want me to cover the windows? dim the sunlight?” Tanjiro asks, already making his way to cover the windows with cloth. You nod as he does this, smiling at him before your eyes water

Fuck your tired.

tanjiro makes his way to the bed with you, hugging you from behind, arms around your waist

“y/n!!” He whines, searching around the butterfly mansion. He finally finds you, on the floor of a room, stretching.

he walks to you, tears in his eyes, wailing. “Inosuke beat me up!!!!!!!!” He yells, extending the “uh” sound “up”

“oh? I’m sorry baby.” You say looking up at him, as he’s standing. Your eyes are droopy, but you’re still scanning him for any actual injuries. His face cheeks (felt the need to specify he wasn’t spanked) are red from being slapped by inosuke

you almost chuckle, but you’re too tired to make fun of or poke at him

”does your head hurt? I Can get you ice for your head.” You say, monotonely, standing up and looking around

usually, Zenitsu would nod and mewl, wanting to rest his head in your lap and have you tend to him

but you sound like a zombie

”y/n…? What’s wrong?” He asks, wiping his tears. “I’m fuckin’ tired, in all honesty. The past 2 days you’ve been yelling in my ear, and me and Tanjiro have been having to pull you out of Inosukes arms a—“ you rant, before looking over at him

god he’s such an ugly cute ass bitch you want to slap him so badly (lovingly)

you walk over to him, rather than where the ice is to hug him, resting your head on his shoulder.

“I uh, it doesn’t hurt as bad as usual! I Can tend to you this time…! Hey! We can cuddle!” Zenitsu responds

you nod, before getting ice for his head, and then putting it on his head, he keeps making attempts to kiss you, so you let him, kissing his forehead.

”I’ll be quiet today, okay??” Zenitsu says, not wanting to further agitate you

”haha, that doesn’t depend on you, Zenitsu… depends on whether or not Inosuke decides like beating you again.”

but he tries. for you. to avoid Inosuke. Resting with you the whole day

At least til Inosuke finds him.

Honestly… he doesn’t realize you’re tired at first. He jumps at you, hugging you extremely tightly. Blabbing about how he just beat up Zenitsu—

you make a mental note to check up on Zenitsu later

”Y/N! Y/N!!! Are you even listening to me?!” Inosuke’s about to go on a long tangent about how much he does for you, and how he’s a king, and you should be more respectful, like how you usually are,

but a quick kiss on his nose stops him, he smiles giddy, and kisses your lips quickly

”Fine! I’ll show you mercy.” Inosuke huffs, slouching over as he processes the fuzzy feelings in his chest before standing up straight again.

he’s ready to rant again

”stupid blond was—!!!”

”Inosuke, I’m tired, baby.” You coo softly, your muscles ache from all the fighting and all the yelling from traveling with the group…

you honestly just want to find Tanjiro and enjoy a quick warm tea with him

Inosuke laughs at you, suggesting that training will help! he quickly begins to stretch, and forces you onto your ass as he kicks behind your knees.

his roughhousing manages to get you to stretch, and you feel a little better

at least until Inosuke suggests you finally train

”honey, honey, I want to rest??” You say, trying to persuade him.

He scoffs, and lets you. Depending on if you’re in the house or outside, he leads you to a couch or makes a grass cushion for you to lay on. He’s eating 🍙 as you sit down and rub your tired eyes

he suggests giving you a massage

its something youve done for him when he’s a lil too excited

but you reject, knowing he’d break your rib or something

“next time, dear.” You say, with a yawn
