Lockdownová

Sterilní ticho a hrst prázdných vět

Pár metrů čtverečních utváří svět

Měsíce neživé- šedých dnů slet

není kam jít a není kam jet

Koloběh dní se lenivě točí

Víc než pár blízkých sešlo nám z očí

současné životní podmínky

Vraždí v nás touhy a vzpomínky

Vězněni bez soudu, bez viny

Pasivně přijímáme živiny

Jak květy na poušti, bez vody

Hyneme uprostřed přírody

Žízníme po kapce naděje

Jež zničila by ty zloděje

zloděje klidu a míru a mládí

zloděje času, co stále vpřed pádí

Noc je nám útěchou, brzy však po ránu

Upřímně, zoufale, doufáme v záchranu

A na pár chvilek se oddáme snění:

Ta doba přejde a časy se změní.

Words have meaning, even if we say this and that is beautiful, women are gorgeous; the frost of dawn biting into the dry stalks of birds’ nesting places has its chilling beauty. The story borne by a wrinkle on a face in a train compartment, scenes from alien worlds. That we will never know what happened to those we passed on the street just like that, they live their own secret lives in other places and speak with such ordinary beauty about the dead, dresses and children. Spring’s haberdashery is naturally beautiful in a way, perhaps even from a deer stand, in the crosshairs of a rigid hunter. And being on an actual watch is beautiful, when the moon rises and the calf of a homeless man shines from under a bridge. We do not think of what will be after death unless there is something after it.

[CZECH Poetry] Láska, Jaro

Byl květen - první máj,

den zamilovaných, lásky čas.

Oheň plál, a květinový ráj

zval milence k sobě zas.

Růžička vykvetla, mladá a krásná,

zahlédla milence, láska jasná.

Přiblížila se, zvědavost nedala,

“to je něco nového”, na chvíli zůstala.

Láska ji obklopila, celý květ obklíčila,

kytka se zalekla, strach zde cítila.

Našpičatila trny, stonek zpevnila,

bránila se, pak si uvědomila:

Láska neútočí, láska ji hladí,

jen sladká slova a nekonečné mládí.

Láska houstne, růže otevře květ,

lásku vstřebá, je to nový svět!

Výměna slibů, “miluj mě navždy”,

polibky zapečetí co slova začly.

Stmívá se jim nad hlavou, slunce utíká,

květina nebledne, láska neubývá.

Až vzpomeneš si na lásku bývalou,

vrátíš se na místo, kde vše začalo.

Růže tu zůstala, lásku celou uchovala,

mládí v ní zůstalo když stáří tě zasáhlo.

Byla jednou jedna kočka

Měla bíle koťátko

Dneska bylo s vránou doma

Zítra už se nenašlo

Kočka byla plná smutku

Vrána sejí vysmála

To máš kočko za to žrádlo

Navždy budeš jen sama

Kočka byla rozhněvaná

Až se celá ježila

Říkala si sama sobě

Žejí peří vtrhá

Když se obě utkaly

Hezky se pak porvaly

Peří, chlupy škubaly

Však se obě hněvaly!

Na ledovém poli

Kočka s vránou lehly

Ležely jak leklá ryba

Ani jedna vstát nemohla

Since the beginning of this year, the amount of poetry books I own has gone up from one (1) to five (5).

#poetry #kaj rambles #idk idk i've started enjoying poetry at some point #and i got 'night sky with exit wounds' and a collection of konstantin wecker's poems for my birthday #and impulsively bought 'time is a mother' and 'crush' last wednesday #and i'm already half-way through 'crush' which means of the first six books i read this year three are poetry #two are czech fiction about the shoah #and one was non-fiction about terezín #bookblr #readblr #i don't actually own any of the other books i read this year love getting books from the library #but poetry is different i want to be able to underline and annotate it
