I knew the reading comprehenson on this site was abysmal, but the CEO seeing a trans woman complaining about transphobia on the site and wishing he died a death involving "a car covered in hammers that explodes more than a few times and hammers go flying everywhere" and seeing that as a genuine enough threat to both nuke her account over AND contact the FBI over is certainly a first

In my heart I know that (outside of Tim's stalker records and the bat computer) the only pictures of the bats are all blurry, Sasquatch-is-real-look-I-have-proof shadow-in-the-dark quality shit except for one perfect, beautiful face shot that broke the Gotham Internet when it was posted. Every digital copy was corrupted beyond recovery within three hours and the physical copies vanished in the night. Gotham has never recovered.

#transformers#art#optimus prime#au#optimus but what if he was old. angry at everyone and everything and lurked in the shadows#and if he also wore a cool (but dirty) cloth to hide his identity#what if ppl thought he died. so they mourn his passing in a ceremony. which he walked into to see whats up and then looks at his face in a#BIG HOLOGRAM and he's just standing there like “huh rip that guy i guess. never liked him” and left#not wanting to hear what megatron would say about him#(megs would be cybertron's leader !!!)#but megs would walk up and say to the public. genuinely teary eyed. how much his passing impacted him and how much he misses his old foe#and everyone would whisper old stories about optimus. remembering how nice he was and how skilled he was in the battlefield#why did he leave. you wonder. i dont know i made this up on the spot#maybe someone told him very mean (horrible) things about how his leadership style was going to doom cybertron or how he was surely going to#end up manipulating megatron and/or going to kill him and all the decepticons#maybe that someone was megatron and he said that stuff out of anger and didnt FULLY mean that#so he was like “ok then”. packed hastily and left without ppl knowing. so whoever entered his room after many days of “sulking” found it#all trashed and assumed the worst#and what does he do... save mechs from crimes like batman. but only when he's around and that's when he's low on energon and needs to get#more (not very frecuently). he's like a cryptid#other than that? build stuff idk. i like to imagine he's an engineer#he lives far. far away from society like the emo old man he is. perhaps near the sea of rust where he knows ppl wont get close#this wont make any sense i gave it like 5 minutes of thought. i just wanted to make an angry optimus design

small town thats said to have a cryptid living in the local woods and has become a sort of tourist attraction, the main characters decide to camp out in the woods to prove the existence of said cryptid and discovers that all the sightings and unexplainable stuff was actually the woods population of fairies
idk i just like the idea of trying to prove the existence of something and accidentally discovering the existence of something you hadnt even considered to be a possibility

Headcanon that Apollo's shades are actually a special blindfold he uses to reduce the visions and horrors he has. Maybe reducing the senses helps him focus on the present better.
Like in the titan's curse when he's wearing headphones mid meeting it could have not been him just being a douche and could have been him mildly distracting himself from the future to listen to the meeting. I like to think the future plagues him (haha get it plagues shut up) so when he's using things like headphones / a blindfold it means he's really paying attention (damn he's so neurodivergent wow).
Anyway. Apollo being Apollo I don't think he'd want people to worry and people would worry if he's at the wheel of the sun chariot with his eyes blindfolded. So instead he chooses to make them into sunglasses which he thinks makes him look laid-back and cool but makes him look like a massive jerk instead. (Apollo would rather people think him unreliable than dangerous and now I've made myself sad ).
This hc mainly is because Percy's reaction if he ever found out would be hilarious.
Percy: you're fucking ? Driving the sun blindfolded?!
Apollo : Percy I am a god. I can see the mortal world past what my corporeal form can see. These eyes are not really eyes so it doesn't matter.
Percy: 🙂
