The Capture of Bagur, 1807 by George Chambers
On the night of the 6th August 1807 (at a time during the Napoleonic Wars when Spain was still France's ally) Captain George Mundy of HMS Hydra chased three armed Spanish merchantmen into the Catalonian port of Bagur (also called Begur, near Girona) and captured all three, while also taking the port's fortress.

'funny' how spanish fachos hate basques so much they want them all to disapear and consider them like a whole other race, that when basques do vote to stay away from spain they get all defensive and go "no you're actually spanish stfu!!"
Kaixo anon!
What people need to understand is that Spanish fatxis only accept people that is fatxi or vote for fatxis.
If Basque and Catalan people voted for them so they could be in power perpetually, I swear to you there would be absolutely no Basque or Catalanophobia in Spain.
It's just that we have this tendency to vote WRONG 🙄.

The University of Barcelona's Medicine Faculty has temporarily installed a giant heart made by the Catalan artist Jaume Plensa, with the building's columns acting as the ribcage.
The objective of this work of art is to raise awareness about cardiovascular illnesses, which are the leading cause of death worldwide.
The work is titled El cor secret (The Secret Heart). The heart measures 13 metres tall and 10 metres wide, and weighs 150 kg. It's made of synthetic materials and painted by hand. It had previously been shown in Germany in 2014 and was supposed to arrive to Plensa's home city sooner, but it was delayed because of covid. Instead, in 2020, Plensa donated one of his famous head sculptures to this same building, to thank medicine professionals and students for their work during the pandemic.
