june 25th 2022, there was a shooting at a gay bar in Oslo. the norwegian police knew about it before it happened. they had agents who received terror warnings about a week before. and they did nothing.

when we mobilised in solidarity around the country, the police told us not to. they told us to stay home, because they couldn't guarantee our safety. but they could. and they chose not to.

in the weeks after the attack on London Pub, bars organising LGBTQ events were surrounded by police. "to protect us". but they left before our events started.

"We cannot guarantee your safety," they said, "so stay home."

"We don't care about you," they meant, " we don't want you. so keep it in the home".

Now, trans healthcare is being removed. Our protections are next to none. Our politicians pretend we don't exist. Our government has completely given up on our cause.

"We cannot guarantee your safety."
