I write dark content mostly, and the biggest part of my fics is about any sorts of violence of a certain character over reader (it may be hidden or depicted graphically).

Pairing: Bucky X Reader

Summary: After Hawkeye’s retirement, you are assigned to the Avengers as the new sharpshooter. You form a special friendship with Bucky but when friends turn to lovers Bucky suddenly turns cold. Were you just another conquest of Bucky Barnes’ or was something deeper at play?

Part 3: The conclusion of your first mission with the Avengers.

I Remember All of Them Masterlist

Decked out in tactical gear, you, Steve, Bucky, and Natasha head for the south wall of the compound. Steve kneels by the wall holding his shield over his head, Nat jumps on it and is propelled to the top of the thick wall. You follow her lead. Steve and Bucky look up at you in surprise and you raise an eyebrow at them from your perch. They follow you and together you drop down to the ground inside the compound.

"Didn't expect you to follow Nat like that." Steve says.

"I noticed. We've still got a lot to learn about each other. I assume training is a daily event.” You say.

“Weekends are optional.” Steve smiles at you before moving to lead the team into the compound.

Tony’s voice comes over comms, “We’re in.”

Steve breaks the padlock with his shield and opens an unused entrance. “We’re in.”

As a team you move through the compound securing the areas as you go. Your team locates the control room and seeing Capitano in the room yelling commands through a radio, you grin wickedly. Motioning to Steve, he allows you to take point. You open the door to the control room and lean on the door jamb casually.

“Hey, Capitano.” You say with a grin.

“Cagna!” He yells. “Sei morto.” (You’re dead.)

“Vaffanculo, tesoro. Sei tu quello che muore oggi.” (Go fuck yourself, darling. You’re the one dying today.) You reply as you raise your gun and take your shot.

The team moves into the room. You move to the computer and begin studying the feeds. “Cap, medical lab.” You say pointing to one screen. “They’re destroying everything. We’ve got to get in there.”

“Stay here and monitor everything.” Cap says. Your first reaction is to protest being kept out of the action, but you recover quickly and nod at Steve. You understand he hasn’t worked with you on missions and this was probably for the best.

“Tony, guys, you’ve got a group of five heading to you. 60 seconds.” You call over comms. “Good luck.” You say as Steve, Nat, and Bucky move out. Steve gives you a nod. Bucky and Nat both give you a smirk knowing you had just earned some points with Steve.

“Wanda, on your six.” You continue to monitor the teams and call out warnings. “Cap, group of four down the next hall. You’re almost to the lab.” You raise your gun, shoot the two guards that attempt to retake the control room, and bar the door. As you watch the rest of the team move expertly together, you envy their synergy and look forward to being a part of it. Ten more minutes pass and the compound is subdued. Tony, Nat, and Jarvis are reviewing all the computers and files. Bucky, Sam, and Steve begin setting charges throughout the compound while Wanda and you keep watch.

A knock sounds on the door to the control room, “Open up.” Bucky calls.

“How do I know you’re really Bucky? Tell me something only he’d know.” You giggle internally picturing his face.

“You’re a pain in the ass, little girl. Now, open up.” Bucky laughs.

You take the bar off the door with a grin. “Setting charges?”

“Yeah. Here, can you put these by the console?” He says handing you two.

“You got it, old man.” Your smile falls when you realize Bucky is looking at the bodies on the floor. “You okay?”

“Are you? I didn’t realize there were any more Hydra agents. We shouldn’t have left you alone.” Bucky is shaking his head.

“I obviously could handle it, Sergeant Barnes.” You cop an attitude at his insinuation that you were less than the rest of the team.

“I didn’t mean it like that. Sorry.” Bucky says.

“Why are you being so protective of me?” You put a hand on his flesh arm and force him to look at you. “You have been since we’ve been here.”

Bucky looks in your eyes, “I don’t know. Something about you feels familiar. It's like my instincts are pushing me to protect you.”

“I appreciate that Bucky, but I can handle myself. Don’t worry. I’ll kick your ass in training so you can get it in your head.” You sass with a smirk.

“I look forward to it.” Bucky says.

You return to the computer to check the progress of the upload to the thumb drive and go through the feeds again. Bucky comes over to you and you point at a screen. “Have you been to the utility room? Looks like there’s a gas line.”

Bucky studies the line you are pointing at, “Make for a secondary explosion. Good call. Will you be okay if I… “ He stops when he sees your raised eyebrow. “You’re good. I’ll be back.”

You chuckle thinking he’s a sweetie.

Steve comes over the comms, “Buck, how’s it coming?”

"Covered the control room. She found a utility room. Looks like gas lines are run. Going to check and set charges. Should give us a secondary explosion." Buck says.

"Good work. Both of you." Steve says.

“Cap, I’ve got everything off the computer here.” You say over comms.

“Wait for Bucky and then rendezvous in the lab.” Cap says.

“Copy.” You say. Going over the room again to occupy time, you find nothing and decide to go through the pockets of the three dead agents. You find a vial in Capitano’s pocket.

“Cap, Tony, did you find any vials of blue liquid in the lab?” You ask over comms.

“They're all smashed. What have you got?” Tony says.

“Found one intact in an agent’s pocket.” You say.

“Excellent. Team, check all of them.” Tony says.

Bucky rejoins you and you make your way to the lab. Along the way you check several more agents and find a couple more vials. In the lab, the team has gathered nearly a dozen of the vials.

“Capitano wasn’t kidding. They were passing out this medication. Sam, let’s draw blood from the agents the vials were found on.” You say.

Sam looks to Tony and Cap and you follow his gaze. Realizing your mistake, you correct yourself, “I’m sorry. I mean, of course, Tony, should we collect blood samples?”

Tony gives a nod and the two of you set to work. Once away from the team, you glance at Sam, “How bad did I just mess up?”

“You didn’t. You’re new and you’re used to being second in command with Strike. They understand.” Sam smiles at you.

“Thanks, Sam.” You say. Rounding the corner, you come face to face with a Hydra agent. A still alive Hydra agent. You are thrown backwards into a wall. Grabbing a knife from your vest, you advance and block the first punch thrown. Sam runs towards you as you continue fighting and engages the agent. The agent is subdued and alive within a couple of minutes. Frisking the agent, you find another vial.

“What is this?” You ask, holding the vial up. “Cos'è questo?” The agent stares at you with no discernible expression. Grabbing the agent’s arm, you drag him to the lab. “Hey Tony. How do you feel about live test subjects?”

You look up to see Tony smirk. “Ooo, goodie.”

“I thought you cleared all the rooms.” Steve said.

“I thought WE did, too. I never saw him on any of the surveillance feeds.” You counter.

Steve nods and watches you roll your shoulder. “You okay?”

“Yeah, got thrown into a wall. I’m good.” You smile.

“Alright. You, Bucky, Sam, get the quinjet ready.” Steve says.

The three of you clear the compound and get the quinjet set for departure.

“Pretty good, little girl.” Bucky says.

“You weren’t so bad, either, old man.” You sass back.

Once the team was reunited, the base destroyed, and the quinjet was in the air, Steve calls you over.

You feel your stomach drop, “Captain.”

“I wanted to make sure you know that for a first mission, having never worked with this team, you did a great job. Your insights were spot on and you followed orders well. Nat was right. You’re exactly what this team needs.” Steve says with a smile. He holds his hand out and you shake it.

“Thank you, Cap. I’m really glad to be here.” You say.

“We’re glad to have you.” Natasha says.

“Here, here!” says Tony.

You are grinning from ear to ear when a bottle is lobbed at your head and you catch it with ease. “Really?”

“Welcome to the team.” Bucky grins.

“Thanks.” You smile back. When he turns away, you throw the bottle back at him, but he ducks and it hits Sam. You hold in a laugh, “Sorry, Sam.”

“I blame you, metal man!” Sam growls.

“She threw it, Birdbrain!” Bucky counters.

“Only because-” Sam begins but then busts out laughing as Bucky’s head is doused in water from behind.

“Oh my goodness! The bottle top fell off.” You shrug laughingly and walk away. Finding a secluded corner, you unzip your suit. The pain when you had shrugged told you that you were going to have a pretty impressive bruise where you hit the wall. You pull down the shoulder of your suit and look back at the blooming purple spot.

“That looks like it hurts.” Bucky says.

You look up at him, “Yeah. It’s not pleasant. It’ll be fine though. Just a bruise.”

“Let me get you an ice pack.” Bucky says.

“Yeah, okay.” You say.

Bucky brings an instant ice pack, places it against the bruised spot, and helps you replace your tac suit. “Thanks, Bucky.”

“Anytime, Doll.” He says.

“Doll, not little girl?” You smirk.

“I think Doll suits you better.” Bucky smiles.

“I like it. Good choice, Tiger.” You smirk as you playfully punch his arm and then walk to Nat and Wanda.

Don’t ask, I dreamed of this last night XD But it was way too cute to not write it

“Go over the fire ladder! I’ll catch up to you” ,He whisper-shouted over to the pair that already made it half through the window, as they heard the headmaster approaching from the hall. There wouldn’t be enough time for Roman to follow them, he needed to hide and that fast if he didn’t want to get caught in the girls commons and risk to fly from the school. Logan and Patton were already on their way, and Roman ran out of options. Why did they think taking this shortcut was a good idea? Oh yeah, they didn't. Roman did all alone and now that’s what he would get from it. But, the deus ex machina decided to be merciful to him, and made him see that one of the room doors was ajar. So he quickly took the chance and sneaked into the girls room to hide. Thankfully it was empty so he could stay here for a bit. A sigh of relief flooted him, as he took a few steps back, running a hand through his reddish hair.

“Fuck that was close”

Tho he wished to have just climbed after Pat and Lo. Would have been easier and maybe fast enough on second thought. Oh well… too late now. He only prayed he didn’t have to wait too long here. The girls who this room belonged to could come back any minute and they already were lucky enough no one saw them. Plus: He REALLY wanted to be with the two right now. This day has already been stressful enough and today the deadline would end. Which meant Patton would be finally safe… In the past month Patton had to live with a curse. Roman and Logan had been on edge this whole time to keep him safe from all sorts of things that the universe threw at them. Don’t ask how it came to that, just don’t. It was already enough stress to calm his racing heart and get his breathing under control to not make too much noise. He put his ear to the door and- DAMMIT- she was still outside. And not only that, she talked with other teachers and a few students now.

“Good fuck, what are they even doing here anyways?!” ,Roman cursed. He couldn’t stay here. What would they think of him? Standing all dirty and with a ragged jacket in a girls room he didn’t even know? So he began to look around. Nothing. No Vents, no side doors, only a window. Wait… a window. On silent soles he stepped closer and carefully opened the window, looking out. Perfect. Just above was their room, but with no ladder. He would have to pray that the ivy on the wall could hold him. Slowly he climbed on the desk, ready to climb out of the- “Ah, so El Capitano honors us again with his visit”

If Roman had already put a leg outside the window, he might as well would have fallen out. But fortunately he was still enough inside to just let out a startled squee. Welp… there they were. Four girls that this room belonged to. Great… “uh…. ‘El Capitano’?” ,Roman asked perplex while lifting a brow. The girls didn’t seem hostile as they got in and went about their things as if Roman wasn’t even there. Like this was something normal. The redhead came closer with a confused grin. “Wait, seriously? Are you sneaking through so many windows that you already forgot?” His brows knitted together as he tried to recall. When realization hit him, a red flush filled his cheeks. “oh- oh god, yes.”

The girl let out a small chuckle, her friends joined in. “You were so drunk that you mistook our room for yours and wanted to climb up to yours through the window. And you kept throwing spanish word in while you wanted us to call you ‘El Capitano’” As embarrassing as this was, it was also kinda funny thinking back. He didn’t remember much from that night, only that he woke up with a bottle of tequila in a girls dorm with a pink shirt on. He was so paranoid that he slept with one of them, that his mind tried desperately to forget that hungover.

“From that on, always when one of us was about to do something stupid on alcohol, we call it “Don’t do a capitano”” Roman grinned a bit honored. “Well in my defense: If I hadn’t been this wasted I would have nailed that climb!”

“Suuuure” ,a girl sitting on her bed chuckled. The redhead walked to her cabinet, where they hoarded most of their food and pulled out a nearly finished bottle of tequila. “Ever since we were waiting for you to come back and finally get your trash” “You kept it? Couldn’t you have just thrown it out?”

“Is it our job to clean after the man, after he vanished that morning from our bathtub? Without even a thank you for hiding him or saving his stupid ass?” ,she smirked back. “Okay fair.” ,he rubbed his neck, “Thanks for that, but i cannot climb with a bottle in my hand”

“Well guess you’ll have to come back another time then. Now if you allow the question El Capitano-” “Actually my name is-”

“Nope.” ,she interrupted back, “El Capitano suits you. Besides, if anyone asks us whose bottle this is, it’s better if no one of us knows your name. But I’m Ella” ,she shook his hand with a smirk, which he returned. “Now then, Cap. Why are you here?” “Oh well… it’s a long story” That statement didn’t seem to bother the girls much, they leaned forward interest and Roman quickly noticed: They’d be an attentive audience. So he sat back on the table and began to tell them from the most deathly month of his life.

One and a half hours later, Roman said in a braid train that the girls spontaneously decided to form while listening to Roman’s tale. He didn’t know if they REALLY believed anything he said, but at least they were nice enough to act like it and not mock him. Outside the sun slowly came closer to the horizon and the hot summer air warmed the room together with the red light of the oncoming sunset. With Roman’s soft, yet melodic voice, it was really nice to listen to him, while he caught up to the events from today. Where they left the town library and were so close to getting hit by several cars, while trying to escort Patton back to the campus. Dodging a wild raccoon and a bicyclist who just HAD to run him over and ruin his favorite jacket.

“It was like the universe was against us. Well… it had been this whole month, but as we checked the dates again and knew we were close to the end, it was like it was giving us all it had on the home stretch. So we needed to run to the last safe place to wait out the last few hours of the curse. But we couldn’t walk over the campus-” “Why not?” ,asked Edna. Turning around, her braid finally finished by Roman, to face him. Roman’s face lit up a bit red for the second time that evening. “Because my crush was there and I embarrassed myself last thursday in front of him. So he clearly didn’t need to see me all dirty and raggedy. The group let out some soft chuckles and exchanged a few gentle grins. “You are such a himbo, I’m sure he would have found it cute.” “Well ladies, not taking that chance. YET. In this moment all that mattered was getting Patton home safe and- … oh CRAP! I totally forgot-” ,he exclaimed, getting on his feet. “Oh right where are your friends right now?” ,Helia asked. “They went to our room, I need to check on them” ,he said more quiet, putting an ear against the door and fuck- there were now multiple girls in the hallway. He had no chance. Unless… “Hey what are you doing?” ,Ella asked as Roman climbed on the desk once again. “I’m going to prove to you that I can nail this climb” ,a confident grin crept up on his face. “Well then, El Capitano must say farewell now, myladies! But we will see each other again” He received playfull eyerolls from Edna and Mina, enthusiastic clapping from Helia and even a Salut from Ella. “Yes oh Captain my Captain” ,she grinned, having learned about Roman’s love for theater in their conversation. Roman saluted back with a proud grin before he grabbed hard on the thick ivy and other plants that grew on the wall. Slowly climbing up he thanked the stars that their window was slightly opened, but the curtains were closed. Didn’t matter, because with some sweat he made it to the window without too much scratches. Shifting caruffly through the blue curtains that painted the room in calm blue light. He climbed in very carefully, as he saw that Patton and Logan were both in their separate beds, holding hands across. They didn’t seem to be asleep yet tho, since they both peaked their heads up as he climbed in. “Oh there you are, we were already getting worried” ,said Patton, as he carefully put his glasses on. “Sorry, dearest puffball. I caught up with a few… old friends” ,he smiled. Turning to Logan, who mirrored Patton with putting on his glasses, he asked: “How long?” For the first time this month Logan could manage to smile calm while looking at his clock. “It’s still two hours until the sun rises in Azerbaijan”

A bit unsure if he understood the whole concept Roman carefully fully asked “So… we did it?” And he would lie, if he said that Logan nodding smiling, whispering a small “Yes”, didn’t fill him with the biggest joy he has felt in this whole time. A bright grin planted itself on his face as he looked to Patton, who smiled back just as bright.

“What even is your arrangement here? Sleeping across like that! Come here!” ,he exclaimed, picking Patton up, who squeed and tightly grabbed around his neck. “Roman!”

He walked across and put Patton gently down next to Logan, who quickly pulled his arms around the smaller man. Just like Roman who joined on the other side. Finally having their victory cuddle after all these hardships and the fear of losing one another. Holding each other warm and comfortable, even through the summer heat. They didn’t mind. All what counted that they were finally here and finally safe.

Patton sniffed, smiling soft. “Thank you so much, you two… you saved me”

“Anytime” ,they replied in unison. ------ Again, please don’t ask what this curse is and why it’s connected to Azerbaijan. Dreams are WEIRD. But the scene in which Roman climbs back in and sees how they are holding hands across was too cute to not eternalize this moment X3

This request is for @buckysgirl04 , and I wish to apologize for how late this is! I promise I wasn’t ignoring you! The last couple months have been hell with moving into a new home and starting a new job. Now that the holidays are rolling around I’m finally able to start writing again. Again, I’m sorry this is so late. Also, I’m really, really, really, sorry if I butchered any of the Italian I’ve used. I know some stuff in Italian, but not a whole lot...

“Nope! You have to figure it out on your own, Wilson!”

Bucky’s head lifted from his book upon hearing your voice. His heart always raced when he heard your thick Italian accent. He especially loved when you spoke in your native language. Bucky and Steve had been the ones to stumble upon you while on their mission to Italy. They had located another Hydra base in Florence and went to check it out, and that’s when they found you.

You had been in the middle of a fight when Bucky and Steve found you. The two men stood mesmerized as they watched your swift and fluid movements. It was as though you were dancing. Bucky’s eyes were glued on you when Steve nudged him. They moved forward to assist, but when they got near the remaining Hydra agents were sent sailing through the air. That’s when they noticed a wisp of (F/C) trailing from your outstretched hand.

“Buona sera, Capitano America, e Bucky Barnes.” You greeted with a grin. “Mi chiamo (Y/N). Piacere.”

The moment your first spoke to them Bucky knew he was in trouble. He’d already fallen head over heels for you. As if your display of power wasn’t enough, your smooth melodic voice was the icing on the cake.

Bucky was brought from his thoughts when Sam waved a hand in front of his face.

“Earth to Barnes!” Sam called gaining the assassins attention. “Maybe you’ll know what your girl said.”

Bucky raised a brow as he shifted his gaze to (Y/N). Y/N gave him a cheeky grin and he could only imagine what she had said.

“What’d you say, doll?” Bucky inquired, his blue eyes focused on (Y/N).

“Nothing. Not a damn thing. We were just playing Mario Kart when I finally managed to beat Sam!” Y/N replied, her grin growing.

Sam pointed at her as he furrowed his brows and whined “I know you called me something. I just don’t know what.”

Bucky sighed, “Y/N...”

“Fine, fine. I said, “Ha! Io vinco! Battere quello, cervello di gallina!”

Sam swiftly turned his attention to Bucky who was too busy trying to maintain a blank expression. The corners of his mouth twitched as he wanted to burst out laughing.

“What the hell did she say, Tin Can?!”

At that moment, Natasha’s head popped around the kitchen corner. A knowing grin on her face, and the sound of Steve sighing filtered from the kitchen. Sam glanced back and forth between the three at a complete loss.

“She called you a bird brain, bird brain.” Natasha finally replied, taking pity on the poor man.

Y/N snickered as Bucky burst out laughing. Natasha followed suit and snickered at the gobsmacked expression on Sam’s face. Sam narrowed his eyes and shot Y/N a look.

“Oh, so you’re gonna gang up on me now too, huh, Y/N? What’s a man gotta do to get some respect around here?” Sam muttered.

“There’s no respect in Mario Kart. But, if it will make you feel better, you’ll always be il mio secondo preferito, Sammy.” Y/N said as she took a seat on the arm rest by Bucky.

“Wait, then who’s your first...never mind. Stupid question.”

Y/N snickered once more as Bucky wrapped an arm around her waist. Sam huffed and strode toward the kitchen where a giggling Natasha and Steve awaited him.

Bucky pulled Y/N onto his lap and brushed his lips against her ear and whispered, “Ti amo, mi amore.”

Y/N was shocked to say the least. The past couple months she had been trying to teach Bucky Italian, but he never seemed to grasp it. Her expression quickly shifted to one of adoration realizing he actually remembered something.

“I thought I’d surprise you. I’ve actually been having Steve help me after my sessions with you.”

Y/N pressed her lips to Bucky’s in a deep, but chaste kiss. A few moments later Y/N pulled away and rested her forehead against Bucky’s.

“Ti amo, anch’io, Buck.”

Durante il primo anno della Triennale in Scienze e Tecniche Psicologiche, mentre mi sentivo una donna vissuta perché “andavo all’università” ed ero uscita dal liceo con tutte le mie innumerevoli esperienze e conoscenze, sono state proiettate sulla lavagna le definizioni di pregiudizio e stereotipo. Forse proprio da quel momento, ho cominciato a interessarmi in modo particolare alla Psicologia Sociale, perché aveva permesso che tutto ciò che ero certa di sapere e tutte le mie sicurezze cadessero. Il pregiudizio, secondo la definizione all’interno del manuale che avevamo all’epoca, di M. A Hogg e G. M. Vaughn, è: “un atteggiamento sfavorevole e talvolta ostile verso un gruppo sociale e i suoi membri e un atteggiamento dominato da tendenze sistematiche cognitive e dall’abbondate utilizzo di stereotipi.” Da qui, si arriva alla discriminazione che, sempre secondo gli autori, è definibile come un “comportamento basato sul trattamento ingiusto di determinati gruppi di persone e non deriva sempre da un pregiudizio di fondo.” Nel libro dal pregiudizio si arriva alla deumanizzazione, fino ad arrivare al genocidio, fino a toccare il razzismo. Eccoci al punto. Ho fatto tutto questo preambolo per arrivare qui, a un argomento ormai quasi scontato perché tutti ne parlano e allora dato che tutti lo fanno, ho deciso di farlo anche io.

Sempre secondo ciò che v’è scritto sul manuale di psicologia sociale, il razzismo è “una forma di pregiudizio e di discriminazione verso le persone sulla base della loro etnia o della loro razza”. Dopo le elezioni europee, mi sono sentita in dovere di fare un po’ di pulizia di “Amici” su Facebook: per fortuna le persone che ho eliminato non sono miei amici stretti, ma solo amici di social. Ho avuto modo di parlare, per mia sfortuna aggiungerei, con persone che fanno del loro ostinato razzismo, un vanto e non una vergogna. Ciò che mi ha colpita (sì perché ho quel difetto di rimanere ancora basita di fronte a determinate affermazioni) è, principalmente, l’incoerenza di queste persone.

Parto con un altro preambolo: quando ero alle elementari, i bambini stranieri nella mia classe erano pochi, quattro o cinque. Addirittura, se non ricordo male, nell’altra sezione erano tutti italiani. In ogni caso, non so perché, non mi sono mai posta il problema, né tanto meno mi è stato mai rimproverato il fatto che fossi una bambina solare e disponibile verso tutti, le mie migliori amichette all’epoca erano tutte di colore. Andavo d’accordo con tutti, maschi, femmine, alti, bassi, biondi o mori; non c’era un bambino che mi stesse più antipatico di un altro, ma quelle con cui passavo più tempo erano bambine di colore. Un giorno è successo un evento che ricordo ancora oggi in modo cristallino: eravamo in terza o quarta elementare e doveva essere più o meno la fine dell’anno. Un giorno due compagni hanno litigato, una di questi era una delle mie amichette del cuore. Ricordo che gli insulti piovuti su quella bambina erano da considerarsi troppo già per un adulto, figurarsi per qualcuno che non lo è. Ricordo le lacrime della mia amichetta e che, in sua difesa, avevo scritto molti biglietti con delle parolacce (completamente a caso) che avevo poi fatto recapitare al compagno che aveva insultato la mia amica. Senza contare che quel giorno, ci sarebbero stati i ricevimenti genitori – insegnanti. Ma questa è un’altra storia.

Questo per dire che già da bambina, io non vedevo differenze tra colore della pelle. Vedevo differenze tra me e altri, che non avevano proprio nulla a che fare con il colore della pelle. Non voglio che mi si dica che ero una brava bambina, egoisticamente so già di esserlo stata. Quello che vorrei, però, è una risposta alla seguente domanda: se più o meno tutti noi (nati negli anni ’90) siamo stati in classe con persone straniere, con cui abbiamo giocato, parlato, con cui siamo cresciuti, perché adesso quelle stesse persone straniere sono additate come stupratori, spacciatori, ladri eccetera, eccetera? Mi spiego meglio. Quando ho parlato con le persone che citavo prima, mi è stato detto che i migranti non possono essere tutti accolti da noi e che vengono qui, appunto, a spacciare, a stuprare, a uccidere e a rubarci il lavoro. Quando io, in risposta all’ennesima: “Ah sti n***i di m***a vengono qua a rubarci il lavoro”, ho detto “Ma scusa, allora non dovresti essere amico di Pinco Pallo perché è di colore…”, la risposta è stata “Eh no perché lui lavora. È regolare.” Eh no. Non funziona così. Perché se lavora, quel posto di lavoro, secondo il discorso fatto fin qui, spetta a un italiano. O no? Senza contare che sempre nero è, o no? Cioè tu che sei mio amico puoi stare sereno anche se il colore della tua pelle fa schifo, tu invece che non ti conosco e stai lì a chiedere l’elemosina e sei pure nero meriti di tornartene da dove sei venuto. Uno di questi individui, inoltre, alla mia domanda “Scusa… Tu dici che ci rubano il lavoro, ma tu ci andresti a lavare i patti, pulire i cessi, raccogliere pomodori per due euro l’ora?” ha risposto: “Io? A pulire i cessi? Ma per chi mi hai preso?” Già, come immaginavo. Questa persona sta a casa, sulle spalle di mamma e papà, non studia, non lavora ma va in giro con il suo scintillante ultimo modello di cellulare che ti passa la carta quando sei sul water e ti accende la sigaretta senza bisogno dell’accendino, mentre mamma e papà vanno a lavorare per mantenerla. Però pulire i cessi no.

Ma andiamo avanti. Un’altra che sento spesso dire è “Vengono qua e stuprano e uccidono!” e giù una valanga di stupri e omicidi commessi da stranieri. È ovvio che non sto difendendo gli stranieri che stuprano, né quelli che uccidono. Eppure l’altro giorno, apro Facebook, e sul Secolo XIX appare la notizia “Violenza sessuale su una ragazzina: arrestati padre, madre e patrigno”, corro a leggere, mi chiedo come mai non ci sia nessuna specifica sull’etnia e, sgomenta, mi rendo conto: sono italiani. Ancora, qualche sera fa, nemmeno tanto lontano da dove abito, vengo a sapere che un uomo ha messo le mani addosso alla fidanzata. Vado in cerca della notizia per saperne di più: italiano. Questo per dire che, come ci sono gli stranieri che stuprano, incredibilmente, anche gli italiani non sono degli angeli venuti dal cielo che trattano le proprie donne come principesse. O almeno, non tutti... Proprio come non tutti gli stranieri violentano le “nostre” donne.

Proseguiamo. Un’altra frase che sento dire è: “Allora mettiteli in casa tu.” Resta una delle mie preferite. La mia risposta a questa affermazione è no. Perché, a meno che io non conosca quella persona (un amico in difficoltà, un parente), non mi metto in casa né italiani né stranieri e non so quanti di voi effettivamente se arrivasse uno sconosciuto italiano ve lo mettereste in casa, sbaglio?

Un’altra questione sollevata è stata “Sì, ma dobbiamo prenderli tutti noi! Gli altri stati cosa fanno? Perché noi sì e loro no?” Io non lo so, sarà che mia madre quando dovevo andare a una festa o in discoteca, la scenetta che mi propinava ogni volta era sempre questa:

“Mamma vorrei andare a ballare sabato sera.” “No.” “Perché no? Anastasia e Genoveffa ci vanno!” “A me non frega niente di Anastasia e Genoveffa, a me frega di te. E tu non ci vai.”

Punto. Fine. Per questo dico che, io non voto negli altri stati, voto in Italia e del futuro di questa mi devo preoccupare. Nel senso che se lo Stato X decide di uccidere tutti i cuccioli di cane, posso essere in disaccordo e dire la mia, sostenendo che comunque mi sembra una scelta da trogloditi, però io Italia non scelgo di seguire questa corrente di pensiero, dato che ho le capacità cognitive per farlo, e cerco di rendere l’Italia uno stato civile senza uccidere cuccioli innocenti, dico bene o dico giusto?

Arriviamo a due terribili eventi successi in questi giorni. La vicenda del padre e della bambina morti annegati nel Rio Grande per cercare una vita migliore e i migranti sulla Sea Watch. Qui, i commenti davvero si sprecano. Quante parole meravigliose per i primi due, commoventi alcune, davvero. Il padre e la bambina stavano attraversando il Rio Grande, il confine tra Messico e USA, proprio per raggiungere questi ultimi per cercare di ottenere una vita migliore. La bambina non aveva nemmeno un anno. Eppure ho letto dei commenti, dagli stessi che affermano che quelli sui barconi devono essere aiutati a casa loro, che erano rammaricati per la morte di padre e figlia. Ancora una volta, l’incoerenza e l’ignoranza regnano sovrane. Bruce Springsteen, nella sua Matamoros Banks contenuta nell’album Devils and Dust, è stato, purtroppo, profetico.

“Each year many die crossing the deserts mountains, and rivers of our southern border in search of a better life here I follow the journey backwards from the body at the river bottom to the man walking across the desert towards the banks of the Rio Grande.

For two days the river keeps you down then you rise to the light without a sound past the playgrounds and empty switching yards the turtles eat the skin from your eyes so they lay open to the stars”

Ossia:

“Ogni anno molte persone muoiono attraversando deserti montagne e fiumi dei nostri confini meridionali in cerca di una vita migliore qui seguo il viaggio al contrario dal corpo sul letto del fiume all’uomo che cammina per il deserto verso le rive del Rio Grande.

Per due giorni il fiume ti tiene giù poi sali alla luce senza un suono passi i luoghi di villeggiatura e vuoti scali di smistamento le tartarughe mangiano la pelle dai tuoi occhi così giacciono aperti alle stelle”

La Sea Watch è stata quattordici giorni in mezzo al mare con 42 persone a bordo. Il 26 giugno il capitano della nave Carola Rackete ha deciso di entrare, nonostante il divieto, in acque italiane per portare queste persone in salvo. Già: persone. Perché a volte ci dimentichiamo proprio questo.

Ci dimentichiamo di essere empatici. Anche questo è un concetto che ho potuto conoscere meglio negli anni dell’università: l’empatia. Ossia la capacità di immedesimarsi in un’altra persona, provare le emozioni di un altro, cercare di comprendere lo stato d’animo altrui. E allora, un’altra cosa che non riesco a comprendere e che mi chiedo continuamente è: perché una persona dovrebbe salire su un barcone, insieme a migliaia di altre persone, senza nemmeno la certezza di arrivare viva a destinazione? Perché una donna incinta dovrebbe salire su quei barconi? Magari portandovi anche un bambino piccolo. Io, se mi immedesimo in una donna incinta, mi dico “Piuttosto che salire su quella maledetta barca, sto dove sono.” Poi, però, se ci rifletto meglio sono costretta a pensare che, effettivamente, per arrivare a fare una scelta così tragica e pericolosa, il rischio che si corre a restare dove si è, dev’essere per forza maggiore che quello di mettersi su una barca con la stabilità di un materassino. E, a proposito di donne, vorrei sprecare due parole per la capitana della Sea Watch 3: Carola Rackete. Bene. Allora a tutte le bambine, a tutte le ragazze e donne io auguro di essere sbruffoncella, coraggiosa e umana un quarto di quanto lo è stata Carola, la quale una volta accortasi della fortuna che aveva, ha deciso di mettere questa sua buona sorte a servizio di chi non sapeva nemmeno che cosa volesse dire. I commenti per lei sono rivoltanti, poche volte ho letto parole così becere e disgustose nei confronti di qualcuno, per questo motivo non le riporterò, perché solo ripensare a quei commenti mi fa venire un travaso di bile. Mentre ci sono, per fortuna, donne come Carola Rackete, ci sono altre donne che la insultano e le augurano le peggiori cattiverie. Donne che insultano donne. Donne che sanno che lo stupro è la cosa più aberrante, scioccante e disgustosa che possa accadere a un'altra, inneggiano alla violenza carnale da parte dei "ne**i" nei confronti di colei che li ha portati in salvo.

Io non sono un membro del governo, né mai farò parte di esso, ma sono una libera cittadina e sono anche libera di esprimere la mia opinione riguardo a fatti che mi toccano da vicino. E quando a chi protesta viene tolta la possibilità di dire la sua su qualsivoglia argomento, io mi arrabbio.

Sarà che anche io ho fatto parte, in qualche modo, di “minoranze”, per così dire: alle elementari venivo presa in giro perché ero una delle poche a essere già formata, perché portavo gli occhiali e perché avevo un apparecchio per i denti che mi impediva di parlare (ma non di pensare!), per non parlare delle mie amicizie. Alle medie non ero di certo presa in considerazione dai miei compagni maschi, non ero affatto carina: avevo i brufoli, gli occhiali, la coda di cavallo, per questo meritavo di essere bullizzata e non rientravo nei canoni di bellezza ed, evidentemente, rispetto in cui erano le altre bambine. Anche in questo caso non ho bisogno di sentirmi dire “Oh, poverina. Tutti abbiamo avuto un’infanzia difficile.”, la mia non è una richiesta di attenzione. Perchè io, al contrario di altri, non sono stata costretta a vedere mia madre che veniva stuprata di fronte ai miei occhi, oppure a vedere il cadavere di mio fratello ridotto a un colabrodo a causa dei proiettili. Quindi benvengano le prese in giro. In ogni caso questi affronti non mi sono mai piaciuti, mi davano estremamente fastidio, nonostante fossi consapevole che erano delle “bambinate”, perciò se mi davano fastidio quelle scemate, figuratevi come mi sento quando leggo che 42 persone sono rimaste in mezzo al mare, sotto il sole cocente di questi giorni. Mentre noi ci lamentavamo del caldo, loro riflettevano su quanto si dovessero sentir male per poter essere trasportati a terra. Eppure devo ancora stare a guardare persone che sostengono che questi poveretti arrivano con le nike ai piedi, che le donne incinte sono usate per delinquere (sì forse questa è nuova, ma hanno avuto il coraggio di dirla davvaro), che hanno i cellulari! Sarà, forse, a causa della facoltà che ho scelto dove la persona è proprio il mio oggetto di studio. Sarà che mio papà mi ha fatto guardare, fin da piccola, tre telegiornali a pranzo e tre a cena, perciò volente o meno le cose mi entravano in testa e mi hanno formata. Sarà che mi è stato insegnato a non essere superficiale e a conoscere una persona, prima di giudicarla solo dal colore della pelle. Mi hanno insegnato anche che la violenza ha migliaia di sfaccettature e di modi di mostrarsi, comuni a tutti gli uomini. Non so perché sono cresciuta così e so che a non spendere tempo nello studio, nel non documentarmi, nel non leggere, avrei molto più tempo per pensare ad altre cose, magari più divertenti e allegre, senza stare a preoccuparmi della gente che muore scappando dall’inferno che tanto, mica li conosco. Sì forse starei meglio, ma forse non sarei a posto con la mia coscienza. In conclusione, so benissimo che chi dovrebbe riflettere e documentarsi su questi temi non verrà di certo a leggersi questo articolo, soprattutto perchè è molto lungo. Perché, diciamocelo, citando i Beatles, “Living is easy with eyes closed”, “Vivere è facile con gli occhi chiusi”; ed è questo ciò che dovrebbe spaventare di più: il fatto di girarsi dall’altra parte, di chiudere gli occhi di fronte a queste tragedie, di fronte ad altri esseri umani, ché tanto il pensiero predominante è quello dell’ “Eeeh vabbè”. Quando espongo questi miei pareri ad altri, chiacchierando in un bar nella mia tranquilla cittadina che non conosce i bombardamenti o la paura di non riuscire ad arrivare al giorno seguente, alcuni mi dicono: “Eh ma cosa ci vuoi fare? Dobbiamo prenderne atto. Passerà.” Sì, passerà, nel migliore dei casi, ma quando? Per quanto ancora dovrò svegliarmi la mattina, aprire l’app di Facebook e vedere la foto di un bambino a faccia in giù nell’acqua? Quante volte dovrò vedere che a coloro che manifestano è stato tolto il diritto stesso di manifestare? So che posso lamentarmi quanto voglio e che i dati parlano chiaro, ma niente e nessuno mi potrà impedire di dire che non mi sta bene, perciò vi lascio con una domanda:

“Che cosa farei io, se fossi al posto loro?”

Se fossi su quel barcone, stremata dal caldo, dopo giorni di viaggio, non vorrei essere salvata? Non vorrei solo mettere i piedi sulla terra ferma e avere un letto dove dormire? Siamo davvero arrivati al punto (di non ritorno, per quanto mi riguarda) di voltare le spalle a chi chiede aiuto? Siamo davvero diventati così cattivi da non vedere sul volto di una persona, la sofferenza? Dicono che la speranza sia l’ultima a morire. Mi chiedo quale sia il momento preciso in cui le persone sui barconi perdono la speranza o se, quando salgono, non la abbiano già più. La perdono quando uno di loro cade in mare e magari non sa nuotare o quando sentono i loro compagni urlare dalla stiva per cercare di uscire perché là sotto non c’è aria e non c’è spazio per tutti, finchè dopo un po’ le urla terminano e non c’è più alcun rumore? O forse, la perdono quando un bambino non è accompagnato e sta lì seduto, da solo e impaurito? Io non so se chi detta legge si sia mai posto queste domande, se chi urla a Carola Rackete che deve essere stuprata abbia mai provato a immedesimarsi in qualcun altro. L’unica arma per combattere questa freddezza, questa cattiveria che sta dilagando è la divulgazione della cultura. Per questo ho scritto questo articolo, per cercare di far aprire gli occhi a chi preferisce non vedere ciò che gli accade intorno. Finchè si vivrà pensando di valere qualcosa in più di un altro solo perché si è nati dalla parte giusta del mondo, si tornerà solo indietro.
