Jimin & Jungkook- seeing is Believing 💜

The Vlive was far more helpful than I could have ever imagined. It was like good Medicine for the Heart..... you know?

To see Jiminie and Jungkookie, to see their energy, to hear the laughter, and to bear witness to their bond was all that many of us needed today. And, it is a clear message that they are okay, and that everything will be okay while they do their service in the military.

Good Medicine, indeed. 💜

That innate urge to touch will definitely be something that they will probably continue to have to curb. lol... It's like attempting to control the beat of one's Heart. Not easy to do.

Like many ARMYs, I feel much better at this point, after seeing and hearing them (all 4 of them, actually). Yes, it will be hard to move through the months, while we wait for them to return. Somehow it won't be quite so hard knowing that Jimin and Jungkook will navigate the experience together. How perfect is that?

I'm grateful that they all came together to go live, to say goodbye. It was a typical chaotic yet bittersweet time with them. Some how, it was not nearly as sad as I thought it would be.

We have been blessed. Haven't we?

Yeah...... on the other side of 2025, I do believe that the best is yet to come. 💜

Unpopular Opinion: I don’t want to see Jikook Military Pics

It feels wrong. It feels invasive. It feels dehumanizing to refer to them as two numbers. It feels devastating to see them holding rifles knowing what they are being trained for. I miss them both and all the tannies like actual crazy, but I’d rather not get content like this. Legitimate sources or not, it feels icky. This is not a vacation for them. I’ve been quiet about the “romanticizing the military” because at the time, in the Jikook spaces that I’m in, I wasn’t seeing anyone doing anything but supporting Jimin and Jungkook enlisting together when everyone else was bitter about the buddy system. But now there has been a shift. I should not be seeing photos of them this regularly in basic training of all things. I wish nothing more for them to be healthy and safe, but at this point, I wish for the fandom to settle down and be respectful of their privacy and stop glorifying this awful time for them.

lowkey left twitter bc I didn’t wanna deal w leaked pics of the tannies that were going around. I genuinely enjoy reading blogs and discussions far more than twitter convos where everyone seems to have a razor blade in hand just in case they have to fight. But now that I saw them leaked pics here in tumblr, it makes me sad and disappointed.

Please refrain from sharing pics of the tannies during their MS unless they have directly shared them with us. I know we all are always hoping that they are okay and would love to get updates about their well-being which we shall get soon from the tannies themselves.

I also am aware that some of those pics going around were official releases from the military itself but I can’t help to think that these were not pics the tannies could freely consent to. If they had a choice, I don’t think they would want these released. They didn’t get to agree to these bc they’re no longer civilians rn. They don’t have a say. So please keep that in mind when you see those circulating.

Nope, not ready for this!

I knew it was coming and I know the sooner they go the sooner they can all come back together, blah blah blah...it's still the biggest gut punch.

I knew this one would be the hardest to hear for me personally but I take comfort in knowing that the process has started for them all at the same time so no one is left behind 😞

May Jimin and Jungkook be protected, safe and stay healthy both physically and mentally.

My heart aches, it aches for them having to keep up a pretence that they aren't together and in love whilst others in their unit may be talking about missing a partner, and it aches for them having to be apart and say goodbye to each other, it aches that they have to navigate MS without each other, it aches that they will have to keep an integral part of who they are secret 💔😞.

But my heart is settled a little by knowing that they are going at the same time or within a short time of each other, that they will likely get time off at the same time so they can spend time together, precious time to support, love and laugh.

2025 will be a new chapter in their relationship, new contracts and no MS looming over them, more freedom is in their future after the 18 mths of MS.

why are people fighting on twt about who’s more important for bts? like making so many posts about how bts wouldn’t be anywhere without Jk, is a bit absurd don’t yall think??

genuinely some of these fans have problems. BTS wouldn’t be bts without any of them. Each of them contributed to the project, and worked to achieve this great harmony that the members have.

Fighting for who would be more successful without bts is also as stupid. And pointless. Because as we all have seen this week, if the majority of you wanted to stream and support each member, they all would be equals in streaming and wins and so on. But you lot are so freaking picky, you only stream when it is convenient for you.

So yea, Jk had more international success bc that was his goal with this album. The other members made their albums having different goals or expectations in mind. No one forces anyone to stream something you don’t like; music is there in order for you to enjoy it and im sure bts wants the same thing; but don’t come forward saying jk would do great without bts or that bts needed jk to be this great, because thats simply not true.

bts is a project that is as successful as it is today bc of all the boys work. all of them worked hard for this. And besides their obvious talent, bts work hard to maintain their group environment and make it a safe place for each other. they have chemistry which helps them grow and work together. It’s not only their talent that sustains bts work, but their off camera bond.

lastly, we all have seen this past year that they can release solo albums. they can be successful on their own, in their niche or globally. i don’t think its our right to judge what they chose to do. but at the end of the day, they chose bts. they chose to be together. they chose to do ms within the same time period for them to be together and do group activities after.

they themselves chose bts. so as much yall “fans”whine about your fav ruining their career for not going solo, respect your fav’s decision for wanting to be with bts. thats the least you can do.

BTS Military enlistment thoughts...

These are my thoughts and opinions. Information is out there if you seek it yourself. Nothing has been confirmed by any of the members or the company.

News media says Korean male citizens Kim Namjoon, Kim Taehyung, Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook will be enlisting soon: Dec. 11 for the first two and Dec. 12 for the latter pair.

And that Jimin and Jungkook seem to have chosen the companion enlistment option. Yes, "option" because they could have chosen to go in separately.

Koreans who are familiar with how this all works, have tried to explain the process. From what I understand, the companion option allows them to serve their entire enlistment together.

They weren't forced and this wasn't their only option for enlistment. They chose this themselves for a reason, for personal reasons, that none of us can know because we aren't them.

Many speculate but NO ONE KNOWS their reasons!

According to various sources, they will be at the same training center as Jin. There are many groups doing ongoing training there. But I don't believe they will be in the same company that Jin serves as assistant trainer. Credible sources say that Jin's unit at the training center is not accepting recruits on Dec. 12 which is the supposed date that Jimin and Jungkook will enter the military but we don't know for sure. But being at the same training center would allow them to see each other when they have time.

This reunion:

We won't know for sure until it actually happens.

Many are throwing around wild speculation regarding the fact Jimin and Jungkook are the only two with tattoos and therefore had fewer options. But they aren't. All the members have tattoos now. The Korean military needs all the manpower they can get, they aren't excluding men with tattoos, they are just limiting the situations they can serve.

The options are limited (and only slightly) for them because very visible tattoos, especially on the arms and hands, would allow them to be identified too easily. This is a consideration and criteria that is regulated in militaries and law enforcement around the world and is not isolated to Korea. Criminals are identified by their tattoos. Military personnel can also be identified by visible tattoos. In a situation where it is imperative that enlisted remain anonymous, hand tattoos would be a dead giveaway for identification. I'm sure there are other reasons for no tattoos allowed in certain assignments.

The application process began months ago and is the same process all Korean male citizens would go through to be approved for the companion program.

No one is really discussing Tae and Namjoon, everyone is going batshit crazy over Jimin and Jungkook. Let them do their service in the manner they wish. None of you have any say-so in it so shut up.

No one is capable of or even wants to step back and consider the big picture which is more telling.

Regarding Tae and Namjoon, I would venture to say that after basic training, its possible Namjoon will serve in some capacity with the Defense Ministry's Agency for KIA Recovery & Identification which he was named ambassador for earlier this year. That office is located in Seoul I believe. The fact he is well-known publicly and he can speak English would enhance his success in an assignment of this sort. This agency recovers those who lost their lives in action during the Korean War in which American soldiers also perished.

Recovering those KIA happens near or in the DMZ.

IF the hearsay about where Jimin and Jungkook might be assigned after training has any truth, they are supposedly headed to this area as they also perform minesweeping when searching for KIA remains. Again, none of this is confirmed, I am just employing critical thinking...

Tae supposedly has chosen the Special Task Force of the Army's Capital Defense Command. That seems like it implies he'll remain within Seoul during his enlistment.

It's all speculation, but I think these men carefully considered their options and the ramifications. None of this was done on a whim, from Namjoon's ambassadorship and the possibilities of it, to Jimin and Jungkook's companion enlistment and why they chose that option, NONE OF IT WAS DONE WITHOUT CAREFUL CONSIDERATION. They had to apply MONTHS ago for the options they were allowed to choose. They are not the only men in Korea enlisting this year, there are tens of thousands of others.

No one is considering, IF Namjoon is in Seoul during his enlistment, he would have something in common with Tae. And Yoongi. And Jin will be discharged in June, Hobi will be discharged in October... the implications, the connections... their target is 2025. Nothing is a coincidence. They can't be working while enlisted, however reuniting briefly with friends over dinner and drinks is allowed... what they talk about during their get togethers is none of our business.

ALL THAT BEING SAID... Hybe did a tremendous job this past summer with the 10th anniversary Festa celebration, involving various municipality governments, procuring large corporate sponsors and communicating to news media in the almost month long series of events. They elevated the general public's awareness of BTS's impact and therefore instilled value and pride for their continued success.

No military commander would want anything to happen to the members while under their watch.

NOTHING IS A COINCIDENCE.

P.S.: The idiots sending in emails to the Defense Ministry are hurting EVERYONE. The level of lunacy knows no bounds with certain people. They suffer from a pathological psychosis. Don't engage, don't acknowledge.

Jungkookie and Jiminie....

My heart hurts for them. To be separated from your Beloved for 18 months. To have to pretend that you don't have a Beloved while in a military environment. To have to pretend to be something you aren't, for 18 months.

They are going to need all the love and supportive energy we can send them, for the duration of their enlistment. It's going to be really hard for them.

May they be protected on all levels, and may their hearts bear the difficulty that they are about to go through. May Grace carry them and keep them safe.

This is the day I have dreaded most. At the same time I have hoped that Jungkookie and Jiminie would enlist together. That way, it is only 18 months apart.

Then, when they are done, they are free citizens. 💜

2025 cannot come soon enough.

Why does everything make me think of them?

I’ve always liked little reminders of Jikook here and there. Seeing the moon in the sky the same time as the sun ect. But lately it’s causing me so much pain and anger.

I went to a really renown aquarium today with my sister and of course, they had cute sea otters swimming around and it made me think of Jikook.

Last night, I went to a concert also with my sister featuring different artists. A kpop boy group was there and they were fine… but they weren’t BTS. They weren’t Jimin dancing. Their choreo didn’t feel like it was apart of the music. It felt tacked on. They didn’t have immaculate group chemistry like BTS. Sure some of their songs were okay and they could sing live just fine, but I couldn’t help be angry. Angry that I was seeing them instead. Angry that my boys were pulled from what they love and were born to do. I know every male kpop has to serve too, but I’m talking about BTS here. And I think there is a considerable difference. I can have that opinion since I’ve seen another boy group perform live.

I wonder when this feeling will go away or if it ever will for the next 18 months. Maybe this is the next stage of grief. I’m just angry. And if you are angry too, it’s okay. It’s a valid emotion. Sit with it and honor it.
