You can just see how he grows obsessed with Lou xD

"Cheesy action hero whose movies I DON'T enjoy!" Straight after: "Rejecting Baron Draxum is nothing short of blasphemous!" is what kills it honestly. This yokai was down bad for a human.

The fact that Draxum calls Lou's combat skills "Inate genetic gifts" like Lou hasn't trained for them. Pre-redeption Draxum was such a Eugenicist & scientific racist, it's not even subtext.

It's like "No way this human earned his skill, is must be some aspect of his body."

It's also funny how every powerful Yokai who felt attracted to Lou also kidnapped him. Big Mama and Draxum both kept him in a literal cage :') - They just don't respect this human as a full person

(Has nothing to do with this but Lou's cheeks do the squish)

In the show, Draxum’s story arc has him grow closer to his “sons,” starting with Mikey.

By the end of “Repairin’ the Baron,” he’s spent time with the family at dinner.

And with Mikey and Raph on their own.

Yet, by the time we get to “Battle Nexus: New York,” the only close contact he’s had with Leo and Donnie is at dinner.

It's no wonder he gets them mixed up.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again, I genuinely do believe the Iron Baron is one of the greatest Ninjago villains, and the only reason he's so "forgettable" is because he shared a season with HARUMI AND GARMADON, literally fan-favorite, iconic characters who everyone knows and loves. He was one of the best villains, and I REFUSE any slander on his absolutely horrid and evil name!!!!

Like its Riz's briefcase that he's in. I feel like Baron could just crawl out into Riz at any time. He could just slip in and attack someone, or like screw them up with something. Then leave Riz.

Super fly and draxum are actually pretty similar the only difference is why they’re doing it

Superflys Plan:mutate all animals kill humanity

Draxums plan:mutate all of humanity

Really the only difference is why they’re doing it one wants acceptance in life for once and humans won’t give that and one believes humans are the root of all evil and the ender of yokai

What Was Meant to Be: Origins ○ Part 1

When watching Rise, you can tell that these turtles are, different, than the other iterations. From their inception these boys were created purposefully as opposed to accidentally.

Likewise, the turtles are different from every other mutant created in the show. The other mutants were made by chance: a random human with whatever animal or living creature (or plant) that human just so happened to interact with last. As a result, the possibilities are endless, but non-specific.

Yet, the turtles were created with a purpose: not just to be mutants, but to be weapons of mass destruction designed to carry out Draxum’s master plan.

All he had to do was to train them: to train their bodies (and minds) to be the super soldiers he had destined them to be.

But there was a hitch.

With no lab, and with no turtles, his plan had ended in failure...

That is until some troublesome turtle teens stumbled into his rebuilt lab thirteen years later.

And just like that, his plan was back on.

But time and time again, the turtles chose to refuse him. So to Baron, what good are weapons he cannot use.

Someone else had tarnished his weapons by teaching them to think for themselves and by allowing them to be themselves...

no because baronjitsu is so versatile as a ship like. they hate each other. they love each other. they would sooner throw each other into oncoming traffic than admit their feelings. they call each other tolerable at best but no one understands them like they do. they argue day and night like it's nobody's business. they don't register 'love' as what they feel but something like that is there. they're never overly romantic but find subtle ways to show they care at least. they can be married, divorced, a back and forth between the two, queerplatonic, "it's complicated", co-parents through and through. they tolerate each other for their slowly growing family but just as much begin to invite the other into their own lives. they have the same amount of tension 20 years down the line as they do on day 1. they were both kind of shitty parental figures who are working to improve. they share a chair, they share a bed, and they don't have to call 'no homo' because they just. exist. their lives are as complicated with each other in them as it is without. they are both the biological fathers of the turtles and the dads who eventually stepped up. they're both emotionally constipated and queer coded old men who have an influx of their own issues. have I mentioned the obvious sexual tension. everyone notices this years before they do. Post canon au where Otis and Marmalade are both tracking the other, and when they overlap in the same city they play a little game and pretend to be strangers meeting in bars for the first time and then have either the craziest most wild sex imaginable or the most emotionally charged love making possible.

And after, they talk about their lives but keep things vague enough there’s plausible deniability, they’re still star crossed lovers. There’s understanding that maybe they know there’s more than desire between them. Maybe they’re the only ones that truly see the other for exactly what they are. Maybe they’ll only have brief quiet moments like these in hotel rooms for years. Maybe eventually they’ll get to live together and have lives entwined in a way that doesn’t involve what is essentially consensual stalking. Maybe not.

And maybe they’ll never say it, maybe eventually it will slip out, maybe they run away together, but however it goes they both know that there’s only one word for what they feel for each other.
