I think we're all getting a little tired of grim dark stories -- and reality. But how do we get out of this mindset and write something more positive? What even makes a story positive? Well: 1. You've got to base it on hopes, not fears 2. You can use it to show humanity growing 3. You could rewrite actual losses that you've suffered, to make things turn out the way they SHOULD have 4. You could have normal, flawed humans triumphing over evil 5. If all else fails? Remember that RAGE is a step UP from despair -- and channeling can be cathartic. 6. And you need to remember to end with hope. That it wasn't all useless.
