A lot of you asked me about Asteroid Sirene and how it manifests in a birth chart, and initially i answered singularly, but the requests started to get out of hand a bit for me, so i decided to create a whole post on this asteroid in different signs/aspecting different planets

⁕ In Greek mythology, sirens are humanlike beings with alluring voices

Initially descripted as half human half birds then as "sea-girls with the body of a maiden, but have scaly fishes' tails"

⁕ Etymology of the name meaning: "binder, entangler" i.e. one who binds or entangles through magic song.

This could be connected to the famous scene of Odysseus being bound to the mast of his ship, in order to resist the sirens' song.

I want to make clear that this is just my view and thoughts on this asteroid and if you know a trusted source on its meaning please link it down below, i'd be very grateful 🙏

To me Asteroid Sirene (1009) has a similar energy to Lilith but it isn't as raw and destructive, it's indeed more controlled and patient. Lilith is warm blooded while Siren is cold blooded. In our birth charts it can shows where we can become manipulative, turn to our dark side and take what we want with strategy, seduction and mischeviousness.

It can also describe our seductive aura, or how we attract and magnetize others with charm (this can be both conscious or subconscious, depending on how in tune you are with yourself, and also can depend on which sign or house you have this asteroid in)

Doesn't matter if the rest of their chart has quiet,cutie poofie placements, when asteroid Sirene gets activated these natives becomes confident queens/kings and knows how to defend themselves. They don't lose time to get what they want, they get straight to the point and they know they didn't come to play but to win. Their seductive charm lays in how confidently they carry themselves, people see these natives as natural leaders and warriors. Jokes aside, here you can see how unaware these people are of their allure, and this is part of their charm too. They have such a calming and indifferent aura that makes everyone comfortable around them, and people get obsessed by this feeling of peace these natives exude that they can't have enough of. Usually they are the silent type of "Sirene", it's kind of a dormant feature in them. They're very smart and intellectual, and everyone find them extremely interesting, so they automatically are drawn in because they want to know more (and some people will desperately show off to get their attention, it's insane). They can get quite some hidden envy from others because of how witty they can be. These people have a way with words, when they speak everyone else shut down to listen to them. I find having Sirene asteroid in Gemini is very similar to being a Siren/Mermaid how it's described in mythology, they are very cunning when they want to, know how to play games with other's minds, they are very good at putting masks on and turn the cards in their favours. (Also, the ability of sirens to change their body features reminds me a lot of Loki in Northern Mythology which happens to be associated with Mercury) They're the true puppet master and they know it. They have light and quick movements. One minute they're near you, the next one they disappeared from your view, and this is extremely fascinating to people. It's like they can't catch them even if they try so hard.

⁕ Cancer/aspecting Moon/4°,16°,28°: I think of these natives as the spy who pretend to play the damsel in distress, portrayed in old hollywood movies. Don't be fooled by their cute acting. They're actually quite good manipulators. People love how inviting they feel, so warm and nurturing, they have a healing aura to them. These natives makes other people feel like they need to protect them from the dangers of others. I think Sirene in Cancer can be naive at first, especially when inexperienced, but when they get their heart broken oh boy. If Gemini was the master at mind manipulation, Cancer is the master at emotional manipulation. Overall these natives can be pretty unaware of their behaviour, sometimes getting overwhelmed by their emotions, but they can also be one of the most destructive people ever when activating the Sirene energy(both to others and themselves) if they aren't in control of it.

They have a gracious and light aura, great posture and poise, literally princesses/princes. They truly feel like royalty, they also have this natural rich people vibe if you know what i mean. The best at getting what they want in social settings, can have a very innocent vibe that people love. People pleasing is their tecnique to get what they're after. They are one of the most seductive signs in this asteroid, but they're kinda unaware of it. I mean, sure, they know they're pretty but they don't know how many hearts they rob. Even strangers gets captivated by their charming presence, most likely to have suitors telling them "it was love at first sight".

This placement is one of the most underrated one in terms of seduction, honestly when researching for this asteroid i found many siren-like women in our history that had/have Sirene in this sign, and i think it makes sense thinking about it, because Sirens are in their natural habitat out in the wild, so there's a sense of familiarity between the native and the raw energy of Sirens.

Hello, can you please give me your take on ☄️ Varuna in the 4h (conjunct IC) and opposite MC, at an aries degree ? 👱

varuna (asteroid 20000), what's his sign/degree, where he sits in a chart, and his aspects

after receiving quite a few asks and comments about varuna aspects and placements i decided to continue the series (reminders: @e11e27 , @cosmiccvnt ).

IMPORTANT: varuna is a slow moving asteroid it is very likely that everyone reading this will have a cancer varuna. mainly the sign/degree section is for the degree. other than that, the house and the aspects made to varuna are highly important in this post!

all of this is in my opinion. some of it you may be like how tf did she come up with this. my answer: intuition and experience with other people's charts that i have available to me. warning i can be harsh: please don't take everything i say as predestined, astrology is possible outcomes not guaranteed ones. plus let's not forget orbs matter, dominance matters, etc. it's never just varuna. this is just a starting place for when examining a single asteroid in an entire galaxy. take what resonates and leave what doesn't.

aries (1°, 13°, 25°): you might feel the urge to control things. it is likely important and even vital for you to control every activity that you are involved it. this may be trust thing - you likely struggle to trust those around you fully; especially, when it comes to your welfare and the welfare of others. you are likely a natural leader. often you may use your energy to get what needs to happen done. the unfortunate part is that people with this placement tend to be forced out of power or even into retirement. often you are likely to use your brain power to take initiative to get things done... however, you might struggle with keeping balance - you might be a bit of an extremist and some may even say you are forceful.

sagittarius (9°, 21°): this gives political vibes. i feel like a lot of people with these degrees will find themselves wanting to control whole societies (thus the political vibes). you might find yourself wanting to be in the political realm, otherwise you might just want to influence society (perhaps via social media). usually, this is a morality thing - you are on a moral high ground and have a vision of what is good and what is bad. perhaps it is because you have an innate wisdom about humanity and an idealism that could manifest within this society, if we had mores become norms. unfortunately, you might not have the endurance to withstand dealing with things such as this in the long term sense. you are devoted to spreading wisdom and sharing your vision for the future, but it becomes very exhausting after awhile because so few actually listen and take action.

2h: money is the name of the games. money makes you feel powerful and safe. if you have the money you need, you feel like you have room to give to and receive from others. your aim is likely wealth - ultimately you want to have an emergency fund so that if something were to happen you can still feel like you have the money you need to keep going or so you can retire and still live comfortably. but it is give and take; you can't just hoard money right now - at least a majority of you can't because you have to continue to live and living costs money. make money to live - spend money to continue to make money... give yourself permission to live a little - it is great to save but take a look at what you are saving for. no future is certain.

3h: i feel like this can be such a tricky placement. varuna is about control, but the 3h tends to require openness and flexibility to the world around you... it might be difficult for you because you are constantly being forced to adapt to some sort of new knowledge, new communication technique, or new environment. do not be hard on yourself. control is not everything. you can only control what you can communicate, what you know / are open to learning, and where you go - you can't control what others say, what they know / are open to, and where they go. it will be fine just keep being your wonderful self. communicate, learn, and walk around a bit. new things don't have to be scary.

4h: are you varuna or is someone else varuna? that is up to you to figure out with this placement. typically, i see this as people who are either controlling or controlled by their family. often, i see this as people who are in charge of their household as well; you might be the one who makes the dinner, pays the bills, cleans the house, etc even from a rather young age. it can be a struggle though because after doing all that for such a long time you might find you are exhausted and simply can't do it anymore know that it is okay to be burnt out - it is okay to be overwhelmed when you do everything like you do. alternatively, you might feel like you have no say in your family or in your home. it could feel like you are "low man on the totem pole" - even when you try to help or do something you somehow "mess it up" and a parent (typically, your mother) will take away your responsibilities because "you can't be trusted to do the task".

5h: you can't control anything in this bracket funnily enough, so you are likely to feel very tested... you can't control a child - especially, not your own. you will likely never see half of what is coming until it has already happened where your own child is concerned. you can't control chance, creativity, nor, and most importantly, love. when you try to control any of these, you will notice quite a few things... your children are likely to leave your home the moment they are reasonably capable of doing so. when you try to control chance, others might state you are a "stalker" or a "control freak". when you try to control creativity, you might close yourself off to inspiration and originality. and when you try to control love, you are likely to find yourself alone... so don't embrace varuna too heavily with this placement. instead, be open. this placement is great if you want to be an agent, producer, art teacher, guide your children, be dominant in romance, etc. but a key lesson will be the art of letting go because that is when the magic truly happens.

6h: i can't decide if you are a health guru or a g-calendar wiz. maybe it is both. it is astounding nonetheless because you have unbreakable control over your own elements. you might know what marcos are in your meals, what time blocking is, how long it takes to burn fat, etc. it is great by also i feel like you are incredibly hard on yourself; just because you missing one day does not mean it is over. one missed day doesn't mean you have failed - yes, your routine is messed up BUT it is just for the day. it is just for the day - tomorrow is a new day.

7h: these people tend to have their hands on a lot of contractual things - it feels very lawyer like. you will likely deal with agreements, settlements, contracts, controversy, etc. this is the placement of "i have it all under control" and generally you do. you tend to find yourself in an alliance of sorts; sometimes it is with your public enemy and other times it is with your lover - either way it is likely that whichever one you partner with will take over your power at some point in time. this could be a source of controversy in your life.

8h: another placement were you must learn it is okay to lack control... you can't control change, death, nor what you inherit. change is inevitable - if you refuse to change, you refuse to grow... if you refuse death, you forget to live or you find yourself mourning what isn't lost yet in the waking world. if you try to control what you inherit - well genetically you simply can't - you will be disappointed and find yourself removed from legal will(s) entirely. so you have to be open to change. you have to live. you have to be grateful and live in the moment - not in the future.

9h: be open to learning. you are in control of what knowledge you let sit in your mind. allow yourself to take all knowledge with a grain of salt. it is important that you learn everything that you possibly can - be worldly, get a different perspective, learn different philosophies/religions, etc. you will find yourself at a lost when you close yourself off, are too devoted to a single entity of knowledge, you stay at home, and/or you refuse to follow your intuition. open up and be willing to learn new things - this will help you to be the best version of you possible.

10h: often this placement loves a title - they enjoy having status and power. you likely enjoy the authority and/or notoriety that is associated with a title. the higher up you are the more at peace and comfortable you feel. however, the higher up you are, the further you can fall - so be mindful of your place. often with a high status comes a level of popularity. with popularity you have to be mindful of the power you have over influencing others. you are someone that others look up to, so be worthy of being looked up to.

11h: acquaintances, companions, friends, etc your contact with others make you strong and powerful. you might find that you have a number of people around you that are willing to help you get to high places and to reach your hopes and dreams. however, for this to be the case, you have to be aware of how you present yourself to others and the world around you. you also have to be careful that you aren't manipulating people into doing something solely for your gain. just because the people around you have influence, doesn't mean that you should expect their help. never expect to be given something without making a show of faith and effort. help others to see you are worthy and not just demanding a free hand-out.

12h: you are the secret keeper - a lock box for the unconscious and subconscious. you are in control of what you do and do not share with others. others are likely to lean on you to safe guard their issues, secrets, etc. the one thing you can't control with this placements is karma - karma is in control of it's self and will ultimately catch up with you. this, of course, causes your downfall/woe... the best way to keep in check is to resist sharing things that are meant to be a secret / private.

sun: positive aspects: you might be shocked to learned that when you are in control, people follow your every command. you are someone who was given power because you have earned it. your achievements afford you authority and advancement. i find that these people are the best to be in power because they are selfless - they seek balance and fairness first and foremost - which is highly commendable. negative aspects: you may wish to be in control of most every situation and frequently fail to recognize that your ideals and desires are not everyone else's. you may fail to see that you are not always the best person to be in control of the situation, you may come off as slightly arrogant and/or as though you brag about your accomplishments very often to the point of annoyance. your ideas may not be popular opinion among others - and you have to accept that.

moon: positive aspects: you adapt well - your ability to keep up with the ever-changing world around you is what aids you to maintain balance and control. your emotions are a superpower; you feel for those around you which makes you all the more moral and fair. you might feel like you are popular and/or worshiped simply for showing sympathy/empathy and being flexible. negative aspects: i feel like you often wish for others to change on behalf of you - you likely fail to realize that the world doesn't revolve around you. it is a rarity that people will drop everything to help you regain security/balance. that is something you have to do on your own - which is likely to be what causes you a lot of stress. you likely won't find it fair that people aren't helping you - but that is the task of varuna. you have to do your own thing without the aid of others and most often the "others" that you wish would help you the most are your parents/family... be sympathetic/empathetic towards others as you wish they would be with you. it is not easy being human and even less so when you are depending on others without understanding who they are outside of their connection either you.

mercury: positive aspects: you likely depend heavily on communication - you are very particular about what you say and how you say it. accurate communication is key and then comprehension of that information. personally you are likely very good at communicating accurately and comprehending information. you are even very good at being adaptable to new information. you very easily can find yourself back on track if the communication with you and those around you is good. negative aspects: you can only control what you say - you can't control others or what they take away from what you say. you might struggle with efficient communication which throws off a lot of things in your life. you have to practice only communicating what is true/accurate - try your best to not say things you aren't 100% certain of because you will either find yourself in trouble or struggling to get things back in control (things are likely to get out of hand). you might also need to work on comprehension of verbal and written communication.

venus: positive aspects: you have a very powerful gift - controlling the admiration of others. in fact, you will likely find yourself a social media starlet or "famous" on some level. you could even control how desirable you are to those around you. for you it is not about control or balance, it is about finding bliss. you don't really want control or power, you want to be happy and be loved by others. negative aspects: i feel like you are the type of person who gets rather annoyed when people "mimic" you - even though it is common. "imitation is the best form of flattery" they say... but you? you take it personally; you don't like or appreciate when people appear as a "threat" - you especially hate when they get more attention then you did when using your concept. you desire to be seen as a sole entity but that is just not the way of the world any more - everyone copies everyone and most fame is not long-term (social media trends change, you age out of a concept, cancel culture, etc). you have to be okay with admiration no matter how you receive it.

mars: positive aspects: oof it you aren't in charge, you need to be. you are the one who gets things done. we need more doers in this world. you have a passion for achieving balance in the realm around you. you have the ability to control the activity of many people at once which is good too - you would/do make a good supervisor and/or manager in this lifetime. negative aspects: be very careful that you don't come off as controlling... it is likely that you will be seen as such. varuna a god centered on balance and mars is war and chaos - war is messy and unpredictable when functioning at its finest. so the two concepts do not fit together, thusly making for someone who is overly aggressive in having control or someone who attempts to stay away from actively doing anything at all. often your passions get in the way of you being logical and orderly, or you likely face decision fatigue.

jupiter: positive aspects: you are an incredible advisor; you have such wonderful knowledge and wisdom. you can really benefit a lot of people by sharing and being in a seat of power where you can help others - so explore and learn. you are someone who promotes the expansion of the world around you. you are someone who likes the formality of a hierarchy which promotes respect and loyalty. loyalty is everything to you when you feel like you can trust those around you then life will get a whole lot easier - everything will feel peaceful and you will feel comfortable stepping down from a position of power. negative aspects: you have a lot of learning to do before you teach anyone else - keep that in mind when you are giving advice to others. perhaps there is someone else who is in better spot to teach others - perferably someone with a lot of experience. you might also not be the most ethical person. without ethics you are definitely going to feel the pain and have a fall from grace or be forced to retire. you could struggle with open mindedness and/or honesty... practice leading with innocence and willingness to grow.

saturn: positive aspects: you are super self-controlled. you have a strong will which is rather uncommon for people... you have such strength - you could even resist the things to desperately desire. you are someone who is likely to retire before you are ever forced to quit or into retirement in general. you live a life of moderation, thusly you already follow the elements on varuna. negative aspects: you likely aren't the most self-controlled person... you might struggle with doing things in moderation and waiting in general. it is likely a struggle of yours to resist your desires. this might be something that springs from a mistrust built in childhood... you might fear that while it is there one moment it won't be there the next. you will need to work on your trust issues because while you could be right you are equally likely to be wrong in that regard. so have faith. don't doubt the world around you. you might be the type of person that has to be forced into retirement because you do not realize you are decaying in a knowledge sense - there is likely someone more capable than you and you will just have to accept that.

uranus: positive aspects: you are an extraordinary individual - while nothing is predictable when you are in charge, things are also unpredictable and innovative when you are. you cause growth and forward movement. you get things done and help others to evolve in a positive manner. you likely can juggle many things at once as well. your originality is likely to keep you in business and keep you in power for a long time. negative aspects: you might constantly question if everything you are doing is correct - you likely lack faith in yourself and your ability. you also might have the tendency to want to control things that aren't controllable like the future. you need to learn to have faith in the unknown. you probably struggle with finding balance because you likely do not plan - normally this is fine for a uranus placement/aspect but not where varuna is involved because he requires consistency and control. as for the fall from power - i don't feel like you will have a fall. i feel like it is more akin to estrangement. you might fall out of love or interest with your field and just leave it be.

neptune: positive aspects: astral projection vibes - you have strong psychic gifts, so don't hesitate to use them. you don't seek control which is your greatest gift; you reach a sort of nirvana when you stop trying to control things - it is so rewarding for you too. you don't let blockages set you back - you just go with the flow. negative aspects: you doubt your abilities which really sets you back. you have to acknowledge that you are capable of everything and anything. when you try to control your creativity, you will find yourself bored by your work and you might even create things that seem too simple to get the recognition you seek. you don't resonate with idealism - you want things to be predictable but they aren't. you need to embrace the unpredictable and the impractical. speaking of impractical, you likely won't be a leader, at least not the best leader, because you might just lack practicality where it is needed.

pluto: positive aspects: you embrace the chaos; you aren't a controlling person - you are the opposite a majority of the time. you want change not balance. you might be the least varuna like of this bunch due to this fact. the changes you make are often done carefully and overtime. you aren't someone that wastes time though; you make calculated risks/changes. negative aspects: you likely hate people who try to keep order... you loath those who try to control you most of all. you aren't someone who likes being controlled - if anyone should be controlling anyone you will believe it is you who should be in control. your passions likely overshadow you desire for balance/moderation.

asc: positive aspects: these are the people that you look at and you are like "dang, they have everything under control in their life". you appear so well composed that no one questions a thing. you look fine and like you can handle anything, so you likely find yourself tasked with a lot in life. miraculously, you can handle it too and continue to climb the ranks. you have a classic look about you that makes you look timeless and ageless. negative aspects: you may be controlling or lack control where your appearance is concerned. you should look into better life balance - no one should be living their life concerned about their looks and worrying about whether they will be taken seriously or not OR if they are on trend or not. do what what works for you - nothing more and nothing less.

mc: positive aspects: you may receive a lot of praise for your achievements and ambitions in life. you may find yourself in a high position in your career in which you are in charge or creating the code of conduct for your workplace. you could be a good leader because you are willing to hear others out in regards to regarding functionality. your father could have been someone of great importance who had an important job that allowed you to have a good childhood/home environment from a young age. negative aspects: you might expect to get accolade and it never comes - no doubt you are going above and beyond in your role though. you might feel like you are constantly on the cusp of getting to where you wish to go in life, yet you never get there. you could struggle with following those in a seat of power too because you might feel like they took your position or that you are better than they are at the job. status for you is very important, but it is not something you will ever feel confident about.

Astrology Observations #4

Haven’t done an observation post in foreverrr so here we go. :) 

👾 Aquarius suns whether they want to admit it or not, LOVE hearing about gossip and drama. Despite being aloof, they are still air signs. They wanna hear the tea. 

👾 Moon-Jupiter aspects give big/prominent boobies. 

👾 Aries suns either spend money like it’s nothing or are totally frugal. 

👾 Vesta Conjunct Sun in synastry scares me a little. It can be a great aspect, but I feel more often than not the Vesta person tends to put the sun person on a pedestal and deifies them. I had this with my ex, and for a lot of the relationship I always put the blame on myself because I saw him as this person who fixed me and could do no wrong. 

👾A lot of Ceres aspects (3 or more) can make someone very curvy/thick. 

👾 Libra Mars got that cake. 

👾 Cancer suns and Scorpio suns I just don’t dig as a couple and here’s why. I feel like Scorpios tend to use the Cancers to heal themselves and they tend to form trauma bonds with Cancers. Obviously this isn’t always the case, but I don’t see them as the perfect soulmates that everyone says they are. I think Cancer + Pisces works well and Cancers with earth signs. Scorpios I think would work well with earth signs, Pisces? Ehhhh maybe.

👾Aries moons 🤝 Scorpio moons having an intense and dark eyes/gaze (if they don’t have really dark eyes, they have a dark gaze)

👾Libra suns and risings LOVE to buy from influencers

👾Cap risings have big or unique teeth. In other words you notice their teeth right away. 

👾I’ve noticed a lot of politicians and famous people have planets at 0 degrees in their chart. So do with that what you will. 

👾I feel like so many Cancer suns have issues with one of their parents or someone in their family, despite being the sign of “family”. 

👾 Cancer moons be giving Shakespearian monologues whenever you’ve made them upset. I would bet my left leg they’ve all had an emo phase at some point in their lives. 

👾Moon Square Mars is an underrated sex appeal aspect tbh. Even if they’re not physically attractive, they still have an attractive way to them. Some celebs w this placement: Marlon Brando, Jessica Chastain, Tiffani Thiessen, James Dean, Kurt Russell, Natalie Wood, and so on. 

👾Sun Square Moon individuals tend to struggle with mental health issues, some celebrity examples: Kanye West, Heath Ledger, Selena Gomez, Jodie Foster, and so on. 

👾Some aspects I’ve noticed that tend to indicate a romantic relationship (or at least potential for it i.e. one person asking out the other) in the Composite chart are: North Node in the 7th, Vertex in the 7th, Juno in the 7th, asteroid Valentine 447 in the 7th house, asteroid Frigga 27 aspecting Venus, and Vertex Conj. Descendant. Some of these are from @factsrological !

👾Aries suns are noodges. LMFAO. They know how to annoy people and push their buttons. 

👾I’ve noticed sapphic women tend to have Venus-Uranus, Mars-Uranus Mars-Neptune, and/or Venus-Neptune placements. Minor degrees included. Not every single woman who has it will be sapphic, but I’ve never noticed a sapphic woman without one. I’ve also noticed Asteroid Sappho making aspects to angles, personal planets, or in angular houses in sapphic women as well. Also for aspecting personal planets and angles, I’ve noticed there usually are 3+ aspects, but this isn’t always the case. For example I have Venus quincunx Neptune, Mars quincunx Neptune, and Sappho aspecting my midheaven, chart ruler (Jupiter), and Saturn. I spent over an hour looking at different charts of sapphic celebrities and that was the general consensus. 

👾Gemini rising stares are underrated. Scorpio risings and Gemini risings have that same smoldering look, except Gemini risings have a more mischievous smoldering look whereas with Scorpio risings its dark and intense. I’ve mistaken Gemini risings for Scorpio risings before. 

👾People with a prominent Asteroid Casanova tend to be players and flirt a lot. People with harsh Casanova aspects esp to their Mars tend to be unfaithful in relationships. I’ve noticed this more in men though.

👾Life of a Cancer stellium: Always being right about people and situations but no one ever listens to you.

👾 I’ve noticed ALOT of Capricorn suns have issues with their father. If not issues, their father greatly influences their lives for better or for worse.

👾 Pluto in the 1st all have the death stare. It’s no joke. LMAO. Every single person I know including myself have this and give scary death stares. Al Pacino has this and you’ve seen his stares in Scarface.  

👾I’ve noticed Cancer placements if sleepy and not near a bed they’ll try to make their own makeshift bed, like when I was at school between classes I would line up a bunch of chairs next to each other and lay down and use my backpack as a pillow. My old boss who’s also a Cancer got a lounge chair and would bend it all the way back and put a giant cushion on it and sleep in the back room.

👾Everyone talks about asteroids conjunct your ascendant, but never talk about the oppositions. I feel like the conjunctions have more of a “comfortable” effect if you will and oppositions can be more strongly felt and are uncomfortable. Like I have asteroid Apollo opposition my ascendant, and I’ve had so many people who try to challenge me, and be intimidated by me for no reason LMAO. Since Apollo conjunct ascendant deals with power and people looking up to someone, I have people trying to “take my power away” and “fight me” for it if you will. Weird shit. Maybe I’ll do a post about it.

👾I don’t see Lilith-North Node in synastry talked about a lot. This in synastry means that the individuals teach each other to embrace their dark side and explore their s*xuality if the relationship is romantic or s*xual. Usually the individuals can’t keep their hands off each other. 

👾Not really an observation but Eros and Lilith persona charts can tell you what you’re into s*xually. I have an 8th house stellium in my Eros chart and it makes sense, I’ll just leave it at that.  

👾 A lot of Nessus aspects (3 or more) in the natal chart can make someone s*xually deviant. 

👾 I’ve noticed people with their Mars at 0 degrees tend to not be very s*xual or don’t care much about it, like it happens when it happens, sort of attitude. 

👾 I feel like the s*xual chemistry between Cancer Mars and Libra Mars is incredibly underrated. They’re both into soft and sensual sex, and love the intimacy of m*ssionary. 

👾Asteroid Vesta aspecting Saturn may indicate losing your virginity later in life.

👾 I’ve noticed Libra placements in bed tend to be very into giving, and want to make sure their partner also finishes. 

👾Having a prominent Priapus in your chart makes romantic partners want to have s*x with you right away, and this aspect typically gives a high s*x drive. 

👾Scorpio moons have the bedroom eyes. They know how to undress you with their eyes, and they know how to get you to do it. They have a charm about them that just makes them irresistible. Even if they're not physically attractive, they’re just ~ sexy ~ in some inexplicable way. The people I know with these placements are constantly hooking up and/or dating people with barely any effort.

👾Lilith in the 2nd women tend to be s*xualized in addition to Lilith in the 1st women. It’s not as blatant however, it’s more hidden. For example, they won’t be ogled in the street or be asked straight up to have s*x, but they’ll get to know someone and that person will start saying s*xual stuff to them.

👾Aquarius Eros, Lilith in the 11th, Mars in the 11th, Mars Square Pluto, and Aquarius Mars are into some k*nky shit bro. I’ve noticed people with these placements having particular f*tishes. 

👾Prominent Libra and 7th house placements, as well as Libra and 7th house stelliums may have clothing f*tishes, i.e. denim, leather, etc. 

👾Positive Mars-Saturn aspects, Mars-Mercury aspects, and opposition Mars-Jupiter aspects can indicate a small d*ck, but all other Mars-Jupiter aspects usually indicate a larger sized one. Also both small d*ck aspects and big d*ck aspects in one’s natal chart usually indicates an average sized one. Definitely check @factsrological for more on this! I was inspired by their post. 

👾Those with afflicted 8th house ruling planets tend to have a hard time “being in the moment” during s*x. They might dissociate or feel disconnected from their body. I also see this in people who have a hard time figuring out their sexuality. 

👾 I remember reading somewhere that Neptune rules the org*sm so looking at which house it falls in and which planets it aspects can tell you what you’re like when you org*sm. I forget where I read it, but I’ve found it to be true. My Neptune falls in the 2nd house and I usually eat after having an org*sm. I’m also very loud as well. LMAO. TMI.

This placement originally means I am meant to be successful and famous in my career field, and the degree (Pisces) with spirituality, astrology, esotericism, etc. The Sun in NN PC has the same degree and sign, but it's in 2H. So it's the same meaning but making money with it. Finding a stable life because of my passion, and shining in it.

Ordinarily, being awoken at one in the morning by a text would annoy Tugger (who would still check anyway lest it was an emergency), but when a cursory glance at the screen told him it was from Mistoffelees, he immediately grabbed his phone to read it. 

Misto:

Hey.

You’re watching the meteor shower too, right?

Meteor shower? That was the first time Tugger had ever heard anyone talk about it--he’d heard about them before but had never paid much attention. To be honest, it wasn’t as though he hung around people interested in them--he wasn’t much of a space fan like Misto clearly was.

Tugger:

There’s a meteor shower? 2nite?

Misto:

Yes - are you going to see it?

Tugger:

Not every1 is interested in watching meteor showers.

One second after he sent that, he immediately wanted to take it back, realising too late how it sounded over text.

Shit I meant I didn’t know any1 interested in meteor showers.

Until now.

He waited about half a minute to check if Misto was going to respond. A minute passed before he grew worried.

Misto?

Hey, Misto. It’s ur giant bore here.

Misto:

Sorry.

I’m always bothering people.

And it’s 1 am.

With that, Tugger went to grab his jacket tossed over the back of his chair and pocketed the phone. As he quietly shut the bedroom door and made his way down the hall, excitement sparked inside him, surprising him. He never got this excited about space things--or perhaps he was excited by Misto’s excitement about this spectacle--his love for everything he was passionate about always remained nothing short of infectious and heartwarming.

Finally reaching the front door, he pulled it open, making sure it wouldn’t lock him out (he half hoped it would--just so he could have an excuse to ask Misto if his flat had a spare sofa for him to sleep on), and sat down on the steps, craning his head back to stare at the stars sparkling above him. He knew it would take time for his eyes to adjust enough to see more stars--and hopefully shooting stars too.

Hey Misto. I’m outside now. It’s actually nice out here.

Misto:

I hope you don’t have too much light pollution where you are.

Tugger:

Not 2 bad I think. Can see the Milky Way pretty well.

Misto:

Oh good. You will be able to see them.

Tugger suddenly had an idea.

Tugger:

I have the app that turns txt msgs to voice.

If u tell me all about shooting stars, I can have txt to voice read it aloud.

You’re interested?

Tugger:

Sure! I LUV wen u tell me everything u know about ur passions! LUV. Heart Eyes.

First off: are they actually stars?

Tugger quickly turned on text to voice so he could pay more attention to the stars, looking for the elusive meteor shower Misto was talking about. Not a minute later, text to voice reported a new text from “My stow”:

“No,” the voice read aloud, “They are actually very tiny pieces of space rocks, usually asteroid fragments, or even dust that burns up in the atmosphere.”

A pause passed before it read aloud new texts.

“They can burn really hot, over 3000 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s why they’re so bright they can leave an afterimage on your eyes.”

Tugger:

Isn’t that the same temperature as the sun?

“Not quite,” the app read aloud the response, “The sun’s surface is at least 9000 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s 27 million degrees at its core.”

Damn. And we can feel it from--

“Amazing that we can still feel the power of the sun’s heat even from 93 million miles away, isn’t it?”

It sure the hell is.

Tugger:

I was *just* thinking about that!

So, seen any meteors? Shooting stars?

Uh what would you prefer me to call them?

Again, he waited for the read aloud of the response.

“Technically you should call them meteors. But shooting stars is fine. Incorrect but everyone calls them that so asterisk shrugs asterisk. I have seen a couple so far.”

Tugger:

Haha I’m lving that the app just read aloud your asterisks too.

A couple? Damn I best keep my eyes to the stars, huh?

With that, Tugger put his phone back down and leaned back, stretching out his long legs as he locked his eyes onto the stars. This was honestly quite relaxing, being out here with nothing but the stars above him and a stillness to the world as everyone slumbered or did whatever they did at this time of night.

He rested his arms behind him as the text to voice app continued to read aloud Misto’s messages, filled with excitement at telling him when he had seen his first shooting star--he had been looking through a telescope at the Belt of Orion at the time when a meteor streaked straight through the field of vision, leaving an afterimage on his eyes for a few minutes afterward.

And then!

Even though no one was around, Tugger still gasped and pointed up at the sky when a shooting star streaked for half a second across a tiny star, burning brilliant and glorious before fading out forever.

Oh...OH. I get it! I get why Misto loves this so much! Space is still horrifying though.

Tugger swiftly grabbed his phone and began typing at breakneck speed.

Tugger:

Misto! I saw one! I SAW one!

I get y u love this so much!

Space is still horror but it’s sexy when it wants to be.

He quickly turned off the text to audio app, his curiosity now satisfied. Still, he wanted to stay out here, texting with Misto.

Misto:

My FAQ that isn’t a FAQ

Hey babe💞so I have no clue how to make a FAQ page so I’m going to do this instead and hope for the best lol. Here is information regarding my readings and services I offer. Here, I will also layout some general guidelines for asks and the information I require that you provide to give you information as accurate and personal as possible :)

Edit: The natal chart prices are going to be changing because getting multiple done during my day has become difficult for me to do. Also for the amount of work and time I'm putting into them, I think it's unfair to myself to be charging so little considering I am also putting in time to do persona chart readings for free. I hope you understand, and thank you for the continued support. 💖

Chart Readings

Natal Chart Readings: $27

·         These are the highest priced because they are quite lengthy and I spend about two hours to about a hour and a half on each of them. I read the signs, the houses, planetary positions, the aspects, degrees, elemental dominance and anything else that I feel is important to mention. It is usually 1000+ words. This is because of the information I cover and the fact that I try to also teach you guys as I’m going so you are able to come up with your own inner analysis as well and not just taking what I say as 100% fact. I will email it to you personally.

·         You can request that I interpret asteroids as well, you will just have to tell me which ones.

Draconic Chart Readings: $15

·         These usually aren’t as lengthy as the natal readings but I still put in the same amount of effort. The information isn’t going to be regarded as a natal chart so the interpretation is more focused on evolution and how to incorporate the energies into your life and live more authentically. I hope that makes sense, I think they are really insightful. I still interpret the signs, houses and aspects (but if you’re familiar with draconic charts, then you know that only the signs change position). I will also include draconic to natal overlays. I’ll explain why this is important in the chart reading.

Synastry Chart Readings: $10

·       In this reading, I offer information about the tightest aspects between the two charts (1-4 degrees normally, but it depends on the planets involved), the house overlays, elemental dominance and anything else that jumps out to me—I think I’ll put in some asteroids as well such as: Juno, Eros, Psyche, Valentine, Amor, Alma etc., just to see if there’s any tight aspects and such. I think it makes the reading so much more interesting and can give info about soul connections.

·         Alright real quick, on a moral level—do not ask me to interpret a chart between you and someone who is already taken or with someone else to see about your chances. If you are going to do that, then just don’t tell me that bit.

Composite Chart Reading: $10

·         Again, these aren’t too popular for me but I do offer them because I’ve read quite a few. This will cover the chart in terms of a relationship dynamic—the chart is not active unless the two people are active in each other’s lives. Does that make sense? Just keep that in mind because it will determine how accurate the chart is for you. Also keep in mind, the chart can be amazing, but the synastry must be taken into account as well.

·         If you want me to interpret asteroids, you will have to tell me which ones.

·         I pretty much answer anything, but I ask that you be specific and/or offer accurate information.

·         I have probably only ever received one rude comment in my 6 years running this blog and I am so thankful for that—let’s keep it that way. Be kind and mindful when speaking to others! ·         For tarot, be specific PLEASE. Also, try to not ask questions that are mentally heavy topics for you, like regarding the best path to take with someone who cheated on you…babe, leave or hit the block button.

·         You can ask about anything besides that, such as: love, career, chakras, family, friends, school, shadow self qualities, how to bring more joy into your life, guidance for the month, how to get closer to your purpose, what do you need more or less of in your life etc.

·         So essentially, the only thing I really ask is that you make any tarot or oracle questions about YOU. They can involve someone else but just remember, you are the most important person in your life so make sure your questions are geared for your highest good and interest.

thank you for your patience and for sending me your chart!!! but after receiving quite a few asks and comments about circe aspects and placements i decided to continue the series (reminders: @bitchimrawlikethat , @mishap-missy , @herwonderlandmentality , @oolabb )!

all of this is in my opinion. some of it you may be like how tf did she come up with this. my answer: intuition and experience with other people's charts that i have available to me. warning i can be harsh: please don't take everything i say as predestined, astrology is possible outcomes not guaranteed ones. plus let's not forget orbs matter, dominance matters, etc. it's never just circe (34). this is just a starting place for when examining a single asteroid in an entire galaxy. take what resonates and leave what doesn't!

*all of these observations are based on a natal chart - solar return and persona charts will change all these observations because the context is different*

aries (1°, 13°, 25°): you too may enjoy being the queen of the island. you love power, but circe felt threatened by odysseus and his crew's presence initially as she wanted to be rid of them. you could be opposed to adventurous-spirited people and/or those who are too curious about you. you may try to get rid of those who are too curious about you or that pose a threat to your power. you may find you are easily bored - you may find it hard to follow through with a ritual (like cord cutting - you may be the type to walk away because it's taking too long (please never walk away from cord cutting rituals)) or with finishing a portion of study, but if you really want something, you can have it.

taurus (2°, 14°, 26°): you totally would turn someone you view as a threat into a pig - you'd probably sell them too. you are likely a stubborn lover - you have an unshakeable love for people, which makes it difficult when they decide to break things off with you. you are the type to reject that it is happening. you may even turn it back on them that they take you and your presence in their life for granted - and they totally do. a love like yours is rare - you would do anything for the people you love. you may do magic and manipulate others to turn a profit though.

gemini (3°, 15°, 27°): you are probably the type of ex-lover / vengeful lover who ceases communication. i have seen people with this placement and even the degree completely withdraw from communication with the people they "love" when they do something "wrong". and it sucks because we really do take your communication/conversation for granted - we only know it after you are gone. but with great power comes great responsibility - you may tend to manipulate others because you know just how badly they want you in their life. on the other hand, though these placements tend to have extensive knowledge about the occult - they enjoy studying the world of magic and have a natural curiosity about it.

cancer (4°, 16°, 28°): you are probably a vengeful lover being ruled by the moon with this placement. your mood and feelings towards your lover change often - one day, you'll be devoted to them, and the next, you'll be almost (or totally) spiteful towards them. you are likely opposed to the newcomers in your life - you have a lovely home and garden; why do you need some strangers coming in and ruining that for you? you are likely an introvert who likes doing their own thing - people might take for granted that you "like being alone" or "being in your home" though and don't invite you places (odysseus didn't invite circe to go back to the mainland with him). you are the most likely of the signs to practice ritual magic.

mercury: positive aspects: you could have a strong connection with animals in which they are extremely protective of you because they love and respect you. you could be very dedicated to your magical studies and have the correct mindset when practicing which allows for favorable outcomes. you can be a very convincing communicator - people frequently believe the things you tell them. negative aspects: animals can be extremely scared of you because they see/sense your power as threatening. you aren't someone who trusts others easily. you definitely aren't a fan of close groups - you likely see them as cliques and dangerous. you likely aren't a big communicator - you tend to "shoot first, ask questions later." meaning you can be on the defense in a dialogue. though often it is because you feel threatened by the unknown of the situation - often your first encounters with people tend to be abrasive. you tend to use your knowledge of others to get revenge on them.

venus: positive aspects: you have a very witchy aesthetic that is dark and intriguing. you have a high aptitude for magic and occult practices - they tend to yield positive results. you are likely a very loyal companion when you trust the other person - it can be a very intense and intimate feeling to outsiders. a lot of your new contacts develop into romantic ones when you feel attracted to them. you could be a good singer, which intrigues others to want to know more about you. you could also have an expansive garden that has so many things in it that you hardly know what everything is. negative aspects: your diplomacy could use some work for sure - a lot of unnecessary drama unfolds because you tend to be overly aggressive when people are merely curious about you and what you are doing. believe it or not, not everyone means you harm. you don't need to default to shaming others or making a spectacle of them (circe turned the crew into pigs). you could be involved in a marital affair - often it is the case that a married individual is involved with you (you typically aren't the one who is married). people tend to invite themselves over to your space - without your own knowledge or okay. a warning to the gardeners - you are likely growing something that is poisonous to you or that you have an allergy to.

mars: positive aspects: you can be a very active individual in the realm of homesteading or magic. you might have a blog of some sort that is controversial though it likely has very honest and likely has accurate thoughts about the community and/or the topics at hand (some of the youtube homesteaders i see with this aspect say things like "i'm a real person with a real budget," "this is just how it [their home] looks on a normal day," "damn that plant died - whelp that happens, not everyone has all day to babysit one plant and drip can't save every plant," etc). you keep it real. you likely are someone that helps out other individuals - you help them to maintain their "main character" energy (typically it is a romantic partner). negative aspects: you are prone to attacking others - just like the mercury aspecting people, you "shoot first, ask questions later." you are typically on the physical defense - you likely make people feel small and insignificant (circe turned the crew into pigs). you likely don't care if what you do hurts others - you want them to feel pain in hopes that it causes negative feedback/reinforcement so they stop doing what they are doing (very pavlovian lol). you can be a very cruel individual - your temper is not something others should mess around with. you may be prone to lustful activities as well - let's not forget that circe and odysseus barely knew one another, then next thing you knew, she was having three of his children.

jupiter: positive aspects: you have an abundance of witchy power (could be a known witch to society) that should not be wasted. talent like yours is not frequently found. you exchange your energy with very powerful entities be it gods, spirits, demons, or the universe. you are nonetheless a very loyal individual and always show your gratitude and appreciation. you never let these entities do something for you without recognition and appreciation. you are also someone that does a lot of your own studying and research in the world of the occult and witchcraft - similar to 3h placements you likely read a lot about witches in your spare time even in the fictional sense. you are also a very self-sufficient individual - you can do it all on a homestead. negative aspects: you likely abuse the power you have and use it for "evil" and torment others (piss-jar with wasps and chili powder in it type of energy with these placements for real). you need to be very careful that you aren't crossing the lines of magic because the entities that gave you abilities will not be pleased if you aren't showing your appreciation to them - it is giving angry toxic parent vibes "i brought you into this world, i can take you out of it". they gave you your abilities, they can and will take them away. if you think that you owe no one your power, you are dead wrong. be a loyal servant to the world you live in and the energy in it. all magic has a cost association. on a lighter note, be careful who you do exchanges with; they are likely to use you and not repay the exchange (but that might just be because you aren't repaying your entities - so they are the pawns meant to collect debts).

saturn: positive aspects: you like living in solitude; there is something so peaceful about it. it might just be because it allows you to take your time - "slow-living" is a homestead quality; it takes time to make things of quality! you understand that. I feel like this placement makes poppets and guardians - there is a lot of waiting and patience involved in those magic processes. but you have what is required to collect what is necessary, wait for astrological events, make the figures, etc. you are a very attentive and studious individual, so you don't mind taking the time to have all the details correct in your practice. negative aspects: you may be constantly on guard about others taking you for granted or manipulating you into doing what they want. you are prone to animosity, contempt, and disdain towards others. but that does not mean closing yourself off to the world (which you are for sure guilty of doing); you should learn to stifle these fears without disciplining/withdrawing from others. simply be on guard. you have a natural mistrust toward others. you may have a cold disposition. you likely enjoy when justice is served (you probably watched the heard v. depp case closely and were excited that depp won).

uranus: positive aspects: you like circe love the freedom associated with being completely alone and away from your kind. you would likely enjoy trading humanity for cows on a farm or a home in louisiana where alligators are rather close (pearl, is that you?). you are all good to pull an H. D. Thoreau to be one with nature. others are very likely to view your life as unconventional for this reason. but you like weird and bizarre things and don't care what others think. you could probably shock someone with your skills of persuasion. this uranus aspect often reminds me that magic and occult are not always just about myth, astrology, spell jars, herbs, etc. but rather modern magic is science! you may find that you are rather gifted at inventing new technology or scientific techniques. negative aspects: you can ruin your ex-lovers, and you totally would/will. you can very suddenly upend their entire life without so much as a second thought. your romantic life seems to follow in the footsteps of circe's - very quickly falling in love and trying to make/plan a life together - but be aware: your partners aren't often able of adapting to your lifestyle and frequently leave.

neptune: positive aspects: witch aesthetics for days. everything in your realm has a little bit of magic in it. you might be someone who really enjoys witch stories and tales - you probably specifically look for myths, fiction, movies, and tv shows about witches like 3h/5h placements and mercury/jupiter aspects. you might just write your own tale about witches. you might be prone to falling in "love" quickly. these placements tend to be oracles in their own right. negative aspects: you are likely playing a dangerous game and practicing black magic - i implore you to read my warning to jupiter negative aspects. be careful with the entities in your realm; they do not tolerate people using them or abusing the power they gave them - they don't mind letting karma catch up with you. you likely blackmail others with the information they gave you - but not without being betrayed first ("release the receipts"). these aspects tend to experience a lot of betrayal in life, which leads them to the world of "dark" magic. you have the power to curse others but should be careful because there is always a price/debt that will be paid with or without your agreement on what that will be.

pluto: positive aspects: you are probably the strongest of the magic users on this aspect portion of the list - though it may be a toss-up between you and the jupiter aspecting people. you have the power to transform those around you and even yourself. you can even manifest others to appear in front of you. you could also control/guide how karma catches up with people - though it is a delicate art to conquer. negative aspects: you like the venus aspect people are likely to end up in adulterous relationships - you likely aren't the one in a committed relationship though, know that having this knowledge and continuing doesn't make you any less at fault. often if you do continue on these relationships tend to end with them leaving you. you then tend to resort to underhanded behavior that takes down your ex-lover in a very complete/final way. like mars aspecting people, you are prone to lust - love is different than lust, and a lot of your romantic struggle can be resolved by learning to differentiate the two.

asc: positive aspects: you likely have a very dark aura consisting of various shades purples, blacks, and whites. you have a witchy energy and aesthetic. you are seen by others as someone very strong and independent. you can show people what you want them to see. you have an intriguing/mysterious vibe that makes others curious about you. negative aspects: people can be very put off by your presence - they may even be intimidated by your power. people may feel as though you are constantly looking down upon them and making them feel less than you. you might throw off illusions/glamours different from who you truly are.

mc: positive aspects: people know of you as strong feminine energy with a lot of power. people also know you to be generous and willing to help those in need. negative aspects: you can have a reputation as a cutthroat who doesn't mess around. many may know you as someone who demands a lot of respect from others. you might tend to abuse the power you have and manipulate others.

hermes: positive aspects: you have respect for the higher powers and trust them to give others information about you who have good intentions towards you. you trust higher powers to bring you equals and those you need into your life. negative aspects: there are people around you who are willing to exploit your weaknesses and make you susceptible to those around you. people in power around you do not hesitate to exploit your vulnerabilities and make you powerless in your situation. 

odysseus/ulysses: positive aspects: you easily fall in love with those around you - you tend to be starstruck by brave and heroic individuals. you might have a thing for travelers and foreigners - they tend to intrigue you because you wish to know where they have been. negative aspects: you likely have bitterness toward your ex-lovers - there is very little chance that you stay friends with them after a breakup. you are someone who seeks revenge and will likely turn others against your ex-lover. you aren't someone who does your own dirty work - do with that what you will because it is both a smart yet troubling methodology that you don't get your hands dirty but do not care about involving innocent people. 

penelope: positive aspects: you might have a common taste in men as other women around you. you might see the same good qualities in the men around you as other women do. negative aspects: the other woman motif. you are easily jealous of other women who interact with a man you view as "yours". men tend to leave you for their past lover(s).

Mercury’s function in our charts is to serve as our inner computer program, which we can boil down to: 

Input -> Process -> Output

That means we can equate Mercury’s retrograde periods to “debugging,” or to upgrading the software. Something about the ways we learn, think, and communicate needs work. If you think about Merc Rx this way, it’s much easier to deal with! 

We’re in the final week of Mercury retrograde! Which is the good news, I guess. The bad news is that although it begins and ends well, with flowing aspects to a couple of Lady Asteroids - the midsection is fraught with difficulties. I think 2020 has been a toughening process for most of us, and therefore why should little Merc fare any differently?

Third of three - except the first two trines were in Air signs. We’re beginning to add some intuition, imagination, and sensitivity, to being more fluent in what we say and how we say it. This is going to be tested by most of the rest of the aspects which follow - we’ll definitely need the caring and sympathy.

Third of three. We’re again in some situation where there is no clarity to be found, which is not a situation Merc in Scorpio tolerates. With the majority of this aspect (the 135 degree one), we’re counseled to be patient - if we are, we can eventually push for the results we wish. Also, other people may be seeing things a little more clearly than we can; don’t be afraid (or too proud) to ask for help.

Third of three. Words hurt deeper, and last longer, than blows. (Just ask Ms M, whose father never hit her but who also berated her on a daily basis.) This is definitely a day to consider woundedness (Chiron) coming from harsh words (Mercury). We will have a couple of choices, maybe both - one, to stop verbally abusing; two, to stop allowing ourselves to be verbally abused.

Placements affected lie between 4:21 and 6:21 of all signs; anything in Gemini and Virgo, though, will be especially affected.

Third of three. Our “Mercurial” timing is off. We’re saying the wrong thing, or not saying the right thing; just when we thought we had something figured out, it dances away from us. A Sag Moon while this is taking place, can make us even more impatient and testy. Aim for more tolerance instead.

Third of three - and this is the big one, isn’t it? The previous oppositions were October 7 and October 20. This “third time’s the charm” transit feels so stark to me - like a clearly-defined choice awaits us, and neither option is particularly “nice” or pleasant. Having to come to grips with some distressing idea, or with the fact that someone doesn’t agree with us - again, I’m sorry to keep being so US-centric with this, but here in the States we really need to grasp that the Dolt 45 Cult (and worldwide, the entire capitalist patriarchy) isn’t going to give up without a fight. We really need to wrap our heads around this.

Wednesday, November 18, 12:18 UT - Vesta/Virgo sextile Mercury/Scorpio, 9:40

Third of three. It’s interesting to me because Vesta is now in her pre-retrograde shadow. Perhaps all this Mercury drama will give her something to chew on? There’s a Capricorn Moon, before this sextile matures, which may prompt us to look a little more deeply within. (Not that Scorpio needs that kind of a nudge! Nor does Vesta usually need much reminding to go inward.)

Humans are weird: Super weapons

“Are all the fleets assembled?”  “Yes High Marshal. The tenth fleet just arrived and are moving into formation now.” The sub commander motioned and the high marshal saw the tenth fleet maneuvering into position along his right flank bringing the total number of fleets under his command to twelve adding up to roughly 30,000 ships. With such an armada now in his grasp the tide of war would change for the better. The war with the humans had not gone as planned. The initial invasion of the outer colonies of human space had gone relatively unopposed, but as the Volin had advanced deeper into human territory they began encountering more and more resistance. Star bases were equipped with much heavier weaponry, planets were garrisoned and reinforced with fortresses, and small human navy strike forces were bypassing the front line and striking deep into Volin territory. To make matters worse a small fleet of human ships numbering around 300 had engaged the what had been at the time the main fleet under Fleet Master Halbrum who commanded 1500 ships. After the engagement the human fleet was nearly annihilated with barely 200 ship casualties for the Volin, but the remaining 25 human vessels made a suicide charge on the command ship of Fleet Master Halbrum and destroyed the vessel along with the entire crew. With the death of the fleet master the Volin Republic’s military was thrown into panic as several commanders and admirals each vied for the position of the new fleet master while at the same time a resurgence of human counter attacks began flaring up across the entire front.  Matters had only stabilized with the senate had authorized the appointing of a High Marshal, a rank only awarded during times of crisis. Wasting no time, the High Marshal quickly regained control over the Volin war machine and hampered the human counter offensives. Seeing that a prolonged war against humanity would leave too many uncertainties, the High Marshall had recalled the majority of the Volin navy into a single massive armada with the intent to plunge deep into human territory and carve a bloody path to their homeworld.  The armada had now gathered at the main jump point to human territory and were now ready for the final attack. The High Marshal was about to order the fleet to begin prepping for a jump when a commotion from his scanning officers stalled him.  “High Marshal, we are detecting an object approaching at high speeds.”  “What do you mean by “object”? Is it an enemy vessel?”  The scanning officer looked over their screen to confirm. “It is not transmitting Volin codes, but the speed in which is moving means it must be under power. The size of it is larger than anything we have seen before, we have nothing in our records to classify it.”  “All fleets to combat readiness. Disperse the armada then transmit the coordinates where the object is set to exit their jump to every ship in the armada. I want all guns pointed at it and once it exits the jump open fire.”  “Is that wise High Marshal?” asked the sub commander.“Humans are clever by nature and that cleverness was the downfall Halbrum. I will not make the same mistake.” The fleet maneuvered itself into a crescent formation and trained all guns on the empty space in front of them. “Contact emerging now.” The empty space began to flash and pulse with ever growing intensity until a blinding light passed over the surrounding armada. Once the light cleared they saw the previously empty space was now filled with a strange object.  It appeared as a massive asteroid easily five times the size of any of the ships in the Volin fleets. Carved into it were massive holes evenly spaced around the asteroid with metal frameworks protruding along side each hole outwards like a scaffolding.     “FIRE!”  The High Marshal didn’t need to repeat himself as the armada let loose every gun they had. Solid round projectiles, energy lances, missile barrages, hull crackers; every weapon fired at the strange object with no need to understand what it was or if it was even their enemy.  As the torrent of fire flew to the target the High Marshal was already ordering his detection crew to begin scanning the unknown craft. Though it bore no markings he could tell from the outward scaffolding that it was of human design which made him instantly cautious.  He expected some form of energy barrier or shielding to appear as the first of the strikes neared the surface of the asteroid to block the incoming fire, but nothing happened. “Impact in 30, 29, 28, 27″ his detection officer called out as if the High Marshal cared about the timing. “Detecting energy spike!”  Another detection officer called out and the High Marshal saw a dull green glow appear in the depths of the asteroid holes.  “3, 2, 1. Impact!”  With baited eyes the High Marshal watched hoping that his attack had caught the humans off guard. “Trajectory changing!” came the startled reply, but the High Marshal didn’t need his officers to tell him what he could plainly see despite the sheer madness of it.  The projectiles from the Volin fleet began altering their course and diverted directly into the various holes of the asteroid. Missiles performed near impossible 90 degree turns on the dime and energy lances curved themselves as if they had just struck a mirror. “Energy spikes are increasing, it’s drawing in our attacks!” “I can see that! I don’t need the obvious, I want to know what it is doing!” “We have no information, we’ve never seen this before!” “Your orders sir?” the sub commander looked more concerned now and looked to the High Marshal who still sat calmly in his command throne. “Continue the  barrage! We will not back down now!” -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   “Energy levels stable. Will continue increasing for next phase.”  “Alert me if there are any changes.” The science officers saluted and returned to their stations while Admiral  Belinsky pulled out cigar. “You seem to be taking this rather calmly admiral.” He looked to his left and saw his second in command Natasha light a match for him. He nodded a thanks and leaned over as he kept his eyes trained on the display screens, searching for even the smallest hint that something was to go wrong.  “Is there a reason I should be concerned?” he chuckled and and savored the flavor of the cigar while Natasha rolled her eyes, “We are facing the largest ever recorded enemy fleet in our peoples history in an experimental super weapon that could blow up at any moment for starters. I don’t even know how it works”  “The weapon acts in a similar fashion to a reverse railgun.” A science officer said while overhearing the conversation. “By emitting different magnetic waves we are able to alter the courses of incoming projectiles and draw them into the core. Once there the ordinance will be sped up with ever increasing speed much like a railgun and then fired back at the enemy at nearly ten times the previous speeds.”   “You see, there is nothing to worry about.” Belinsky shook his cigar over a tray and sat down in his command chair. “My great great grandfather would tell me stories of when he and his squad faced down nazi tanks with nothing but a broken bottle and a harsh language. Compared to that this is nothing.” Natash raised an eyebrow. “Your great great grandfather?” Belinsky nodded. “I know. The man was too stubborn to let death take him until he was ready to go on his own terms.” “Firing phase has been reached. Awaiting your orders.” Belinsky nodded to the science officer and stared at the enemy fleet displacement. “Should we offer them terms of surrender?” He pondered her suggestion before shaking his head. “Our comrades gave their lives to give us time to complete this weapon. We will repay their sacrifice by laying at their graves the broken husk of this so called “Republic”. There will be no surrenders. Fire at will.”   ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From one of the holes in the asteroid the green light began growing ever stronger until it was as if a green sun would soon emerge.Streaks of green energy pulsed and danced along the metal scaffolding until the without warning streaks of light shot out from the hole directly into the Volin fleet between the left flank and center.  Enemy commanders didn’t even have time to react as what had once been their own ammunition suddenly was fired back at them with such speed it left their ships looking like swiss cheese. Projectiles had been spun up with such speed that they did not even detonate when they hit the Volin ships, but merely passed through them like they were made of paper and continued going into space. Some of the ships had critical systems hit and triggered chain explosions that destroyed them while others vented atmosphere and became silent tombs for the Volin crew.  High Marshal watched all of it in horror realizing that the humans had been given enough time to create such a monstrous weapon.  “Bring that thing down now! Ram it if you have to but destroy that weapon before it can fire again!”  The Volin stream of fire did not slacken as gunnery crews were pushed to their limits, yet every attack was sucked into the depths of the asteroid leaving the surface of it unscathed.  Some of the Volin commanders took the High Marshal’s orders to heart and ordered their ships to ram the super weapon, hoping that the size of their vessel would bypass the defense that was canceling out their standard attacks. To the commanders horror their ships as well became trapped in the magnetic waves and were dragged into the depths, the crew turning into a sticky paste on the ships inner hallways as the vessel was spun up with such speed that it had flung them into the walls like tomatoes.  Another green burst of green streaks shot out and decimated the right flank of the Volin armada. The asteroid was now firing off shots more frequently and soon for every hole that was redirecting enemy fire there was another that was sending it back ten times as hard.  Realizing that they couldn’t win, the High Marshal turned to issue orders to retreat when the remains of commander’s vessel were fired back at his flagship and sired off the top half of the vessel in an instant, leaving the High marshal only moments to realize his own demise before being sucked into the cold void of space. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Send a communication back to the main fleet. They can enter and begin mop up operations. We will need time to cool down the system and go over stress checks before we are ready for combat again.”  Belinsky felt the shudder run through the asteroid as the redirection systems began shutting down one by one.  On the view screen where once there had been an imposing armada now lay a graveyard of ships. He could make out a few that were still under power and attempting to flee, but they could easily be dead ships with power cores still active. In the end he decided to let the rest of the navy have their own fun with the turkey shoot.  "Engines to full ahead. Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 was originally a Nintendo 3DS game launched in 2016. Inti Creates launched the game on PS4 in April 2020. It’s now coming to Steam on June 22, only two weeks from now. Read our review here.

2D Action Game Cogen: Sword of Rewind Announced for 2020 Release on Steam, Switch, PS4

Japanese indie studio Gemdrops announced Cogen: Ootori Kohaku to Toki no Ken. Also known as Cogen: Sword of Rewind, it’s coming in 2020 on PC, PS4, and Switch. Sakuraba is composing the OST. Read our dedicated article for more details.

Record of Lodoss War – Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth- Early Access Stage 2 Coming Late June

Team Ladybug announced on Indie Live Expo 2020 that the second stage of Record of Lodoss War – Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth- will launch in late June. A trailer showing the stage was published as well. Record of Lodoss War – Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth- launched in early access on March 12, 2020. As of now it only has a single stage, so it really is an early access. Stage 2 will include Efreet and Ylk as mid-bosses. The developers promises more content to come soon. Japanese indie devs Pocket Pair revealed its online multiplayer game Craftopia, and announced a Steam Early Access in July. Recruitment for a Closed Alpha Test also began.

Craftopia might look like Story of Seasons in 3D at a first glance, but it actually mixes Survival, Open-World, Crafting, Pokemon, and Online Multiplayer. Craftopia is also an hack ‘n’ slash, as you’ll craft your own equipment and learn skills to fight. You can make buildings and vehicles as well. The game promises a high degree of freedom, allowing you to do a lot of things that would lend you in jail in real life, such as building a giant machine to automatically boil livestock for food, or hunting elephants.

Craftopia looks like tons of fun and is definitely a game I’ll keep an eye on. The official site promises “endless possibilities”. If you can create a whole automated society complete with state racism and cops characters who assassinate innocents with impunity, I’ll buy this in a heartbeat.

Nimbus Infinity Announced on PC via Steam and Consoles (Release Date TBA)

GameTomo and GameCrafterTeam announced Nimbus Infinity, the sequel to high-speed mecha action game Project Nimbus. Nimbus Infinity will feature skill-based combat, diverse battlefields from asteroid belts to deserts, and customizable mecha & weapons. You can read more on the game on its official site. It’s interesting to note Nimbus Infinity was announced for PC via Steam and “consoles”, so perhaps it could come to Xbox Series X and PS5.

Sumire Announced for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch (Release Date TBA)

GameTomo revealed a brand new narrative-driven game, Sumire no Sora. it’s definitely one of the game that piqued my interest the most during the Indie Live Expo 2020 stream, so I detailed what we know about the game via a dedicated article.

Developed by Skipmore (Fairune, Kamiko) Picontier is a slow-paced garden raising game with cute pixel art. You can also fish and fight monsters.  It’s similar to Bokujou Monogatari (Story of Seasons) and its spinoff Rune Factory. They showed around 5 minutes of gameplay on the Indie Live Expo stream. Watch it at the 54:03 timestamp. The game’s developer asked us on Twitter to please wait a bit more till release. They’re also working on another game called Transiruby.

Touhou Fan Game Gensokyo Night Festival on Steam Gets Major Content Update Coming Soon

Tea_Basira announced during Indie Live Expo 2020 that its 2D scrolling action Touhou game, Gensokyo Night Festival, will get a new update soon. Similarly to Deedlit in Wonderland, the game is in early access. The update will add the game’s second stage, which has Utsuho Reiuji aka Okuu as boss, one of my favorite 2hues.

Chinese Parents, Already Available in English, Will Now Launch in Japanese

Chinese Parents is a pretty interesting sounding game. It’s a raising simulation where you live as a Chinese kid born in an average family, from their very early days of life up to the end of high school when they turn 18 years old. You decide how to spend your time, having fun, studying, learning skills, etc. It’s pretty much Princess Maker but with Chinese Parents. I’d definitely like to try it one day.

Children of Morta, Already Available in the West, was Finally Announced for our Japanese Peers on PS4, Switch

Children of Morta is an indie-action RPG available in the West on PS4 and Switch. Developed by Dead Mage, Children of Morta‘s story driven experience will hopefully become a hit in Japan. No release estimate for the Japanese version was announced yet, but hopefully the wait won’t be much longer. You can read our review of Children of Morta here.

The asteroid Pylenor rules poisons. It is one of the Centaurs, like Chiron, thus has an orb of 4 degrees. It also seems to be involved with bigotry. Pylenor exerts a powerful influence. It can make people ill.

Asteroid grazes path of satellites in geostationary ring A reasonably small 4-8 m asteroid recently flew by Earth, passing close to satellites orbiting in the geostationary ring at a distance of about 42 735 km from Earth’s centre and only about 1200 km from the nearest satellite. After the initial discovery, observers around the world rapidly set their eyes on the ‘new’ space rock, determining it would safely pass our planet in one of the closest flybys ever recorded. While the asteroid, now named 2020 HS7, came close to the geostationary ring, it passed ‘under’ the nearest satellite and posed no major risk as their orbits did not intersect. UFO spotted in Hawaii On the evening of 27 April (European time), NASA’s Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System (Pan-STARRS) in Hawaii reported observations of a new asteroid, temporarily labelled P20ZIf8. The night before, one of the Pan-STARRS survey telescopes had spotted an unidentified object flying through space. Less than an hour of observations showed that this object was already extremely close to Earth, with a roughly 10% probability of collision the following day. Rapid global response deems asteroid small and safe Observers around the world quickly joined the effort to find out more about this unknown asteroid. Only 50 minutes after the initial Pan-STARRS report was released, the Xingming Observatory in China obtained the first follow-up ‘astrometry’ - data on its position, motion, and brightness. Soon after, the Tautenburg observatory in Germany – a frequent collaborator with ESA’s Near-Earth Object Coordination Centre, part of the Planetary Defence Office – monitored the space rock, after the Agency alerted them to it and asked for immediate observations. With this data, it became clear that the object was not going to collide with the Earth, but it was heading towards a very close fly-by the following day, roughly at the distance of Earth's geostationary ring. At just a few metres in size, 'P20ZIf8' would not have caused any significant threat if it had been on a collision course, as it would likely have burned up in Earth’s atmosphere. Despite posing no threat to Earth, the detection, follow-up and characterisation of this new asteroid was an interesting exercise, testing the discovery and rapid follow-up capabilities of observers worldwide. One of the closest asteroids to fly by Subsequent observations obtained by additional ESA collaborators and many other observatories worldwide determined that the flyby of the asteroid, now named 2020 HS7, ranks among the 50 closest ever recorded. We now know with a precision of just a few kilometres and a few seconds, that the flyby occured on 28 April at about 18:49:40 UTC (20:49:40 CEST), at a distance of about 42 745 km from Earth’s centre. That these numbers are so precise, shows that the trajectory of a nearby object can be established with exquisite accuracy even with just a day’s worth of data, if good observational coverage can be obtained. Interestingly, the fly-by happened only 15 hours before the closest approach of (52768) 1998 OR2, a much larger kilometre-sized object that attracted the attention of the worldwide media. However, this latter object approached our planet at a distance 16 times farther than the Moon (more than 6 million kilometres away), while 2020 HS7 came significantly closer to us, representing a more significant event for the astronomical community.
