Transiting Pluto stations retrograde
Thursday, May 2, 17:46 UT, 2°06’ Aquarius
Caveat: this may not have much of an impact on you personally, unless Pluto is prominent in your chart. (That would be strong Scorpio &/or 8th House placements, &/or Pluto in close aspect to the Sun, the Moon, &/or an angle.)
We’ve already seen Pluto/Aquarius manifest in a few different ways:
Artificial intelligence (ongoing)
Aviation (the Boeing scandals and airline safety)
Internet (net neutrality returns in the US)
On a more personal level - Pluto brings about long-term, permanent transformations. They aren’t easy. For example: first we have the cute, chubby caterpillar - we end up (if we’re lucky) with the beautiful, elegant butterfly - but in between is the pupa stage, where the caterpillar encases itself and then pretty much dissolves into caterpillar soup, only to be rearranged into the butterfly. And the harder the butterfly fights to escape the cocoon/chrysallis, the stronger its wings will be.
If that ain’t Plutonian, I don’t know what is. Pluto is a long-term proposition, and we end up very different from where we started, once he’s done with us.
This particular Pluto retrograde will involve - between September 2 and (after the direct station) November 19 - one final session of Pluto in Capricorn. Until then, we can expect the Pluto/Aquarius issues to retreat a bit, as “the powers that be” attempt to deal with them. On a personl level, we struggle with authenticity and integrity. We’re breaking away from what Steven Forrest called “consensus morality” - societal expectations and norms that have outgrown their usefulness.

Tuesday, April 30th 2024 Sun in Taurus ♉️🌎 Moon in Capricorn ♑️🌎 and Aquarius ♒️💨
The truth in things is starting to come out right now. Revelations are everywhere. This energy is necessary in order to receive the benefits on the horizon.
We finalize the work that needs to be done with the day starting off under a Capricorn Moon. She then enters Aquarius and immediately meets up with Pluto today. This is triggering truthful feelings and bringing them right up to the surface. It is up to you how you handle them but you know what they always say, the truth will set you free.
Venus now in Taurus is also getting in on this action by squaring Pluto. This will show you where your power may be siphoned or where you might be leaking energy. You can’t take part in the May glow up if you don’t address what’s been killing your energy. Someone or something may be stealing your power and it’s time to take it back.
Mars, just like Venus yesterday, is entering his home sign of Aries today as well. Both of the sources of our masculine and feminine power will be in their very comfortable home signs as of today. This is why May has been predicted to be such a great month. With Mars in Aries it’s easier to initiate activities. Be spontaneous and take risks. Get up and go for it. Just avoid being rash so you don’t have accidents.
Today, we can say goodbye and good riddance to the month of April. It was a challenging one for many of us. This year, April’s showers are most certainly bringing in May flowers. Use the action oriented strength from Mars and the magic and beauty from Venus to bring all of the abundance you deserve into your life!

Monday, April 29th 2024 Sun in Taurus ♉️🌎 Moon in Capricorn ♑️🌎
The Moon in Capricorn is quite busy today. Hold on everybody because she will square Mercury and Chiron in Aries, sextile Saturn in Pisces and trine Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus. That’s a whole mixed bag of influences bringing on emotional volatility filled with self-conscious thoughts. Then it could all shift to intellectual reasoning, where we’re feeling more responsible and dependable as well. It’s a back and forth of uncertainty today when it comes to our emotions.
We add the Mars and Neptune conjunction in Pisces also adding intensity, taking away all physical vitality, steering the motivation more towards working on the spiritual body. My advice here is to connect the physical with the spiritual by doing some meditation or centering practices. Be aware of how you’re exerting your energy at this time as it could impact how you’re also dealing with other people. Difficult situations could result in anger with all of this irritating energy coming at us.
The good news is that Venus enters its comfortable home sign of Taurus today. This is much better and more beautiful energy than when she was in Aries. This energy will bring in all of the rewards of the work we’ve done in the last few months. There’s a focus on giving and receiving and we could also see improvements in our personal finances.
It’s another intense day for us as these energies shift. It may feel like the bubble is about to burst right now but I promise, the month of May will be way better. It will actually be the best and luckiest month of the whole year. Hang in there for a couple more days!

2024 Aquarius Last Quarter Moon

This is a really good time to take stock of ourselves and our situations.
What kinds of debris did the eclipses leave? What’s left?
Now that Mercury is direct (albeit glacially-slowly direct), what things look different? And how?
(I know, me and my bulleted lists….)
Aquarius can be very cold and detached - we can make clear, dispassionate evaluations. Sometimes we have to be in a ruthless mood to get rid of outdated, over-used junk.
At the same time, we can look over the past few weeks for what we’ve learned. Which lessons can we bring with us into the future? That span of Aquarian emotional distance helps us with this, too, giving us more unique insights - enabling us to spot what we would overlook if we were too emotionally invested.

Transiting Mars enters Aries

Mars is happy to be in Aries, as this is one of the signs he rules. How interesting for us to have transiting Mars/Aries and transiting Venus/Taurus both dignified at the same time! Can’t wait to see how this plays out for us all….
This entire transit is very energetic, full of piss and vinegar, punchy, enthusiastic, fanatical, courageous, competitive, adventurous, and so forth. If you have some major project to launch, requiring hard work - or a fitness/health issue to address - this is a great time for it. How it may play out over Mars’ areas:
Physical strength - this isn’t an enduring kind of strength, more like bursts of energy that power us through the task. Like the ability to lift a car to rescue someone from underneath it.
Energy levels - again, bursts. This isn’t usually a placement known for its endurance and staying power. We really have to beware burnout and overestimating what we can do.
Sexuality - very frank and straightforward. Needs to learn how to take “no” for an answer. Doesn’t play games.
How we go after what we want - the shortest distance between two points is a straight line! No detours! Get me where I want to be/go right now! Competitive. A lot of swearing during the driving, insults shouted out at the other drivers.
What this transit may turn out to be, if we put the work in, is a way to elevate how we express our natal Mars. There’s always room for improvement (which is a big piece of understanding Mars and Aries).

In Xena’s TV show, per Wikipedia, “the series depicts her on a quest to redeem herself from her dark past by using her formidable fighting skills to help people.” Which is absolutely higher-ground Aries.

The Moon shifted into Capricorn early this morning bringing in the desire to be more productive. Cappy energy is ambitious, a bit conservative and asks you to accept the challenges in your life.
The Sun in Taurus will trine the Capricorn Moon which adds some balance to our emotions and to our home life. Quite a nice setup for the rest of the energies rolling in today.
Mars and Neptune are about to be conjunct in Pisces. This can bring relationship benefits and increase charisma and sex appeal for many of us. This energy however is all about the work you’re doing on your spiritual body. Especially for those who are going through Saturn cycles since Saturn is also in Pisces. You might just be able to see the direction you’re going in very very clearly, very very soon.
Venus is beginning a square to Pluto in Aquarius today that will be present this whole week. This transit is about to shake things up and bring intensity into relationships. If you’re in a toxic one, you will feel this transit the most and not in a great way. If it’s a healthy relationship however, this could spark some transformative growth together. The truth in the strength of relationships will come out during this time.
Everything occurring in relationships at the beginning of this week could drastically change by week’s end as Mars and Venus will both be entering their home signs. Pluto is also about to go retrograde bringing any kind of transformation to a halt. Where do your relationships stand right now?
