Heck yeah I do like thinking about rarepair, I ship Clemmy after all (@ninadove this one's for you). xD

Sorry it took me a while to answer, but here are my answers !!

Edelgard and Hapi:

I'm not a fan, but that's no fault of the ship. Of course, I appreciate the aesthetic, which might be even better that Lysithea x Edelgard given Hapi's natural dislike towards the Church; but I've just... always kinda struggled to love the Ashen Wolves ? I think it's because I played the DLC well after most people on here, so I had been super hyped up beforehand, but in truth i ended up finding them a bit underwhelming. I never thought Balthus would end up being my favorite out of the four, because he was the first one to flatter Byleth by calling them their professor.

But yeah. Good ship, just me being me. xD

Dorothea and Ashe:

I feel like they'd end up being an overall really wholesome pair, and their aesthetic would also be really nice. I definitely wouldn't be oppsed to see more content about them ! All in all, I do prefer them as friends, though.

Hubert and Ingrid:

The premise of this whole ship seems immensely funny, but I definitely see how it could work. Another impeccable aesthetic given how loyal the both of them are, but how twisted Hubert can be !! I feel like it'd be incredibly refreshing. They'd definitely be an odd pair !!

However, I do think the metaphorical value of Ingrid falling in love with someone from the """"evil"""" side is better conveyed through a ship like Edelgard x Ingrid. It'd be a lot less funny, though.

Fun fact, I wrote Azure Moon at first and had to change it lol. "Azure" is just such a great word, isn't it?

STORY

Adrestia really is a lot larger than everyone else.

Oh, boy, Lonato is turning coat. I wonder what Ashe will do.

Glad they tried diplomacy first. Poor Ashe though.

Ashe staying here 😭 Poor baby boi.

So I'm guessing we'll attack the vanguard and take them out before the main army can breach the territory?

Dimitri be like, I'm going. Everyone else be like, no it's too dangerous. Then proceed to give a thin excuse for the King to be there. I love it when that's actually addressed though.

Can I just say that I love Dimitri's little ponytail.

Oh, Shez, thank you. Telling Dimitri this isn't his fault. And that he's a king, sure, but they're friends first. 😭😭😭😭 Shez always saying the right things to Dimitri.

Not going to lie, I love Shez and Dimitri's relationship so far. A genki friend like Shez is just perfect balance for Dimitri. It almost feels like they wrote Shez's personality around who would play off well with Dimitri, lamo (or, you know, standard shonen hero but who's counting).

To be fair, I like Shez and Claude so far too, since Shez doesn't put up with his shit and Claude's away tweaking and lying by little bits to Shez. They're good too. And I don't know if I just don't like Edelgard, or they just don't mesh, or I just don't care.

CAMP/SIDE BATTLES

SETETH IS PLAYABLE. YES. FLAYN TOO 😭😭😭😭

Oh, joy, seems like fog of war is back for the next chapter. My favorite. /s

Props to Ashe. He doesn't believe its right for Lonato to use citizens for his personal vendetta against the church. I agree, but even if I didn't, I really like this growth as far as fighting for what he believes in and not alliances.

So if Ingrid mentioned Miklain, does that mean he'll show up?

Who is Hapi worried about running into?

I personally love the decision to recruit Petra so early. It feels so right.

Dimitri trains with the common soldiers daily 😭😭😭😭

MORE DUSCUR GENERALS!!! Man, I'm elated they included these details in AG. This is the #1 (or #2) thing I wanted AM to do more (the other is his friends playing a bigger role).

Mercie's and Annette's designs are so pretty. And Mercie wondered if it's bad or good that the Southern Church is under direct government control. It's bad. Very. Very. Bad. for the government to directly control religion.

OH GOD SETETH. HE's just . . . I just love him and Flayn, ok?

Dedue looking out for Ashe 😭😭😭😭😭😭 He's . . . so tall.

Ohhhh, so the commander Dimitri put down in that rebellion when he was 15 was involved in Duscur?? That . . . adds so much to Dimitri's reaction. And Felix, that weird feeling in your stomach? That's just butterflies, dude. One day, you'll either admit it or be miserable forever when you leave him.

I got to make Dimitri laugh 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I will always, always pick the "crack a joke" option around Dimitri. Honestly, Shez x Dimitri seems so bloody cute so far. But I ship everyone with Dimitri so . . .

Dimitri killed 500 units in that side-battle before there was even time for the side-quest. He and Lorenz are my two best so far.

Everyone is dunking on Lonato for ruining the Empire's plans. I love how Count Rowe looks like an NPC though. Which is funny because Gwendal doesn't.

Dedue wants to go on an expedition. I HAVE to say yes. Like, it's a moral imperative. And . . . he has to mention Dimitri lol. Ouch, one of Dedue's questions is to . . . ask about his family. 😭😭 Dedue's worried he doesn't know Dimitri's favorite food. We all know why 😭😭😭😭 He likes Rodrigue. 😭😭😭😭

Ok, I was right. There is a "male's only" challenge.

OMG 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Flayn's and Seteth's dining dialogue. Flayn says she'll "treat" everyone to one of her meals and invites Seteth who looks like he's being held hostage when he says he "always look forward to your . . . culinary masterpieces."

Did Itha behead someone planning to assassinate Dimitri? That's badass.

Taking Dimitri on expedition and he's like "I'm sure Dedue would be okay with this because you're coming too." lol

Oh, I can ask him about his memories from his past. HAVE to go with that. OF COURSE THE ANSWER IS ABOUT DEDUE 😭😭😭😭

I asked what he thought of Shez, and he said he doesn't care about the power Shez has, he's trusting her. Which, is very in line with how he saw Byleth too. He really doesn't give a shit about their uber special magics.

Scored a perfect conversation, woop! I did with Dedue too earlier.

SHEZ & MERCEDES C SUPPORT

Mercedes in high demand. As expected.

I love how Mercedes is both the sweetest person in this game, but also secretly the most savage.

Poor Mercedes is surrounded by people who hide their wounds (Shez, Sylvain, and Dimitri get special mentions).

That was cute and wholesome, but a bit basic.

SHEZ & FELIX C SUPPORT

Ready for this one, I expect a tad more conflict than with Mercedes because, well, it's Felix.

LAMO OMG 😂🤣👌 Like some of the first words out of Shez's mouth "I can tell you actually care about Dimitri and the others."

I love, love, love so much how Felix is treated in this game so far. Between Rodrigue being an embarrassing father to Shez calling Felix's nonsense on the spot.

Felix's shocked noise. I love this. People NOT letting Felix be an edgelord is what I live for.

"It's your fault for saying something so ridiculous." Felix has such tsundere energy.

Shez tells Felix she can tell because how he fights differently around the others rather than solo. Mannnn this is just really hammering home how awful recruited Felix is for his psyche. He's really all about his friends and family.

And Felix talks extensively about Dimitri and how worried he is about Dimitri's safety when he fights and covers for him. 😭😭😭😭

And Felix charges forward to kill archers to protect Ingrid 😭😭😭😭

Sylvain and Felix gets surrounded because he's always showing off. I love this.

Man, I love this. Like, you don't even know. I love how much these BL supports end up including other members.

Oh, I can be jealous of Felix's relationship with the others. I'm picking that.

"Anyway, we're done here. Talking to you is exhausting." And Felix just leaves. 😂🤣😂🤣 He DID NOT like getting called out like that.

DIMITRI & MERCEDES C SUPPORT

I got it! Thanks to everyone who warned me that this one closes quickly.

Also, I already have Dimitri & Dedue B unlocked, but it's locked right now.

Mercedes helping refugees in her free time because of course.

Dimitri being from the poorest nation, taking in all the refugees and sending supplies to them. 😭😭

Mercedes is happy that Dimitri is helping the church members, saying without him they'd end up homeless because of Edelgard.

Poor Mercie fleeing the Empire 😭😭 no wonder she's so loyal to the church.

Dimitri asking permission to speak plainly, and Mercie calling him silly for thinking he needed to ask permission 😭😭 She's so sweet, and I love how casual they are together.

Oh, I love where this is going. More about Dimitri wondering if giving the Empire an excuse to invade by protecting the church was the right thing to do.

Dimitri partly did it to try and keep chaos from happening and avoid civil war.

I'm just glad someone helped those poor people.

Liked how much this support covered in such a short time.

SHEZ & INGRID C SUPPORT

Ingrid really knows her Faerghus history.

Made it cannon that Faerghus values crests because they allow the user to use a big, bad weapon. Which means that wouldn't change in a meritocratic system lamo.

Ingrid's crest comes from another family?

I forgot Ingrid's actually related to Judith. It explains the shared badassery.

Love how Shez is acknowledging how there's no real rules to how crests relate to inheritance.

Ingrid's always so serious, lol. She's teaching Shez to keep Dimitri's reputation safe.

Good to note Shez ASKED Ingrid to teach her.

Ingrid's dream of becoming a knight makes me so sad. I'm glad she gets that in AM.

I don't see how she's not acting in the king's defense right now, though. Even as heir. Like, what's the difference between what she's doing now and being a knight?

Awww, the citizens like her.

AHHH Shez asked what I just did, that can't Ingrid protect the king even if she's the ruler? Like she's doing now.

DEDUE & PETRA C SUPPORT

I'm super excited for this one. It's one of the missed opportunity supports from Houses.

MAIN BATTLE

Also, seems Shez was more active during those two years with Dimitri compared to the other routes.

So this time I'm defeating Lonato, not saving him.

Oh, boy, Miklain is here. And he's on our side??? That's surprising.

Oh, thank God the "defeat Byleth" stopped.

Feel bad for Ashe, killing Lonato.

Shez is upset she didn't kill Byleth lamo.

Shez noticing the others are missing and I have the option to not be nosey and look for them. OFC I'm picking the opposite.

Felix is pissed Dimitri hired Miklain, but Dimitri made a deal with Sylvain's dad?

Interesting that part of why he did it is to get less dependent on relics.

This is really good drama though. Between this and Lonato the Blue Lions seem wayyy more integrated than most of the students in the other routes.

Oh, thank God. Dimitri at least consulted Sylvain before doing this. So Sylvain must've given it the ok.

Miklain sounds like a pouty child, lamo. Though, he's def not a great person. It's like Sei's Kanki from Kingdom.

Really love how Ingrid, Sylvain, Dimitri, and Felix all had something to say and had a valid point. This is good drama. Curious to see how this plays out. Like will Miklain get redemption? Will it backfire on Dimitri?

Felix seems more pissed off now that Dimitri didn't consult him, lamo.

I'm just really glad that Dimitri asked Sylvain first or whew.

Bereaved

Pairing : Bucky barnes x sister!reader

Summary : How many times is it possible to lose someone.

A/N : So my brain had an idea; and here it is.

Masterlist

Finding hapiness in the most difficult of times, was a saying people in the difficult times would be annoyed to hear, but it is a necessary one to live life, especially if you have someone to live it with, because alone it becomes harder as you go.

Life was happy in the 40s even if there was a war going on, but there was a war going on, and it took him away from her. Her older brother Bucky didn't enlist but was drafted to fight to protect the country. And he fought, bravely so, and was captured by the enemies.

She remembered getting the letter, which declared him probably dead and had condolences from the General, how he was on the front and how his sacrifice was not lost.

But then Steve saved him, he became Captain America, the country's hero. The sickly pale kid she knew who also acted like her brother, was now as big as his determination to free everyone.

Steve alone entered the Hydra base and destroyed it to ashes, after that he wrote her a letter alongside Bucky, that they were safe and alive, and would be fighting the war together from there.

Relief flooded into her as she completed reading the letter, but worry oozed as she realised they still weren't safe. So, she enlisted as a nurse, to serve, it was better than sitting home and worrying.

But fate was against her happiness for when she met Steve, and saw his guilty face, she was barely listening when she found out about how Bucky fell down the train.

She was angry, not at Steve but at Hydra, so she joined the group that would be working to find the remaining Hydra members. The soldiers fought bravely, each one served to protect, they had taken down the most but the Red Skull was still alive.

That was until the plane crashed and Steve went into the ice and was frozen in time. She and her team were captured but declared dead, so no one would suspect hydra being involved.

They were experimented and starved, tortured - both mentally and physically, very few survived. When her powers first came, and electricity oozed out of her fingers, she was frozen to let the powers develop.

Years later taken out to control it. She was forced to control and use it as their wishes. But it didn't work out for long, so she again was frozen, and when she was released, she was treated worse than ever.

And when they forced her to use her powers too much,she accidentaly absorbed all the current and it flooded out of her at once killing everyone, burning down the building, giving her a chance to escape, and so she did.

She ran and caught the attention of SHIELD, taken by Nick Fury, she joined the Avengers, fighting to protect the world from aliens first, then robots and then fighting Hydra.

She never saw herself as a super hero, she just felt like she owed the world, for she had powers while most didn't. So she payed the favour by fighting for them, she didn't stop fighting wanting to be like her big brother, deep down thinking she can never be.

But she had friends now, Thor was a great help in learning to control her powers, Tony was like a weird dad, so was Bruce. Natasha was like a sister who was probably the only one she told about Hydra. Clint was a good friend and Steve was happy to have someone from his past alive.

Her world flipped when she found out that James was alive, and her heart broke when she learned what happened to him, he was so close and she never knew, if she did she might have saved him from their clutches a long time ago.

She wasn't there to fight him, but Steve did, and the sadness on her face was visible when she found that Bucky left without a word, she knew he didn't remember anything and didn't knew that she was alive,

But she hoped that he would remember her, his little sister, whose hand he never left in a fair, clutched it tightly while crossing the road, protected her from anyone dare to hurt her, gave her his own sweets when she finished hers, hugged her when she was sad and didn't left her side.

Then Ultron happened and then the Accords, the Avengers broke up, she didn't sign the Accords and chose to become a fugitive, and now she was standing in the airport, the first one to arrive, anxiously waiting to meet Bucky after a lifetime.

He didn't knew she was alive, thinking she had died after living a life, if only he knew. She had requested Steve to not tell him about her, her powers or what happened to her.

She hadn't even told Steve everything just a run down which made no sense, but still better than opening up old wounds. She took a deep breath when she saw the small car arrived.

Steve got out first, Bucky couldn't see who was infront of him from the backseat but when he got out he couldn't believe his eyes, he felt like it was a dream or a nightmare from his mind to torture him again, this couldn't be real but it felt real but so did his nightmares. He took slow steps towards the women the same pace as she did.

"Y/N" he questioned his voice hoarse staring at her as if she would disappear if he looked away.

She nodded, with teary eyes before he ran towards and llifted her, spinning her around, "It's really you, you are real" he whispered cradling her face.

"It is me" she whispered before they hugged again.

"But how" he wondered as they pulled away.

"I'm a vampire" she joked with a serious face making Sam snort who was listening leaning against the car.

"What" he exclaimed in shock.

"No, I'm joking I'm not, it's a long story and we don't have that much time now" she explained.

"Okay, later" he sighed just happy to have someone he loved alive and not scared of him.

"Later" she replied hugging him again.

And then the fight happened, fighting people she once considered family and then Bucky was sent to Wakanda, to have his mind fixed. She had bittersweet feelings about that.

She didn't want him to go on another time wrap but she also knew it would be better if the winter soldier wiil go out of Bucky's mind, so he can finally have peace after years of torture. And so she stood watching him go into the icing machines as she called it, before going into the run.

She turned from a superhero into a Vigilante, now working outside of law, still fighting the bad guys while trying to run from the Government, sometimes teaming up with different powered people like Deadpool, Daredevil or Spiderman and many others.

But then the aliens came, and she was called into Wakanda, to fight a purple grape called Thanos, who was trying to remove half of the world's population. She was reunited with Bucky, he looked much happier and at peace without the fear that of the soldier, the black and gold vibranium arm was better too.

They fought, they did, but they lost when he snapped his fingers.

She watched as the people she once knew turn into dust before their eyes, but then she heard Bucky speak, "Steve, Y/N".

Steep-Support!

As I have been making my way through the Fodlan Tea Collection, I have started to notice more and more duplicates. So I decided to see which characters have "steep-support" i.e. they enjoy the same type of tea! There were some surprises.

I like so many ships in Three Houses/Three Hopes that I don't even know what I'd write about

For example. Yuri x Ashe or Ashe x Petra? What about Petra x Dorothea? But then Petra x Claude and Edelgard x Dorothea are also excellent. But ooh Claude x Yuri would be fun! And now Three Hopes gives us Yuri x Sylvain, but I like to ship my Byleth with Sylvain unless I ship her with Edelgard or Claude. And I LOVE the idea of Edelgard and Claude getting married for political reasons but actually coming to like each other more over time. Sometimes I also like to ship Byleth x Dimitri, but I also really like Felix x Dimitri but I also also really like Felix x Annette but I also like Annette x Mercedes but then there's Constance x Mercedes and Constance x Hapi but I LOVE Dimitri x Hapi

How do people have a canon Byleth romance or an OTP for this game (series?)?? Sometimes I think I find one but then I remember how great another pairing is. The obvious solution is polycules everywhere but sometimes part of the appeal is these people being 1 on 1 with each other.

Ranking some more of my Three Houses couples because I’m back on that Garreg Mach Brainrot:

Lorenz x Marianne: “You are perfect, just as you are,” and “You’re trembling. If uttering this secret hurts you, then I have no desire to hear it. Your smile is worth more to me than any truth.” That’s it. That’s all, I’m dead, goodbye. S-tier, a criminally underrated pairing imo.

Ashe x Hapi: The Goodest Boi in all of Fódlan makes the world-weary Hapi believe in heroes again by being one for her. Also he makes her giggle. I repeat: ASHE MAKES HAPI GIGGLE. Need I say more? A-tier, the potential for wholesome romantic fluff is off the charts.

Sylvain x Dorothea: Two frustrated heartthrobs yearning for a genuine connection each find it in the last person they would have expected. There’s just something so Real about these two, I can’t put my finger on it. B-tier, because I’m upset that they didn’t get a fourth Support conversation.

Hanneman x Manuela: Disaster grandparents who insist that they’re neither disasters nor grandparents, but of course that’s not true. Probably the most un-romantic pairing on my list, but the amount of havoc these two could cause if joined forever in the holy bonds of matrimony is too tempting to resist. B-tier, almost a crack ship, but a canon one nonetheless.

(Bonus) Linhardt x Shez: A-tier. Accidentally fell in love with this pairing without meaning to because the thought of Little Miss Enthusiasm Shez being smitten with Mister I-Don’t-Give-Any-Damns-Whatsoever Linhardt is both hilarious and heartwarming and I bet they have all kinds of wacky adventures together after Three Hopes.

Other stray thoughts from finishing Blue Lions:

Unlocked the Yuri S support. He's on my ❤️ list with Felix and Edelgard and Claude. ... I might have too many ships.

I finally got the Felix and Sylvain paired ending for Blue Lions and understand why people ship him. That's a pretty shipper bait ending.

I accidentally made Flayn Dimitri's queen just by battle supports. I did not mean to do that. I don't actually see it going well

Nice to know Seteth CAN actually take the stick of his ass and make good choices. I don't remember if I've read that ending before.

Mercedes and Dedue have a nice PostScript together though I think the Annette/Dedue scene was probably cuter.

I did get the C-A Felix x Annette supports this time, and I admit theyre cute. I have trouble spinning a deeper story for it like Byleth x Felix or Sylvain x Felix though.

Poor Ashe and Ingrid both accidentally ended up alone. Sorry guys

I want Hapi to be Hapi...

I recruited Petra, Ignatz, Dorothea, and Ignatz this time to avoid killing them, but honestly I did nothing with them and therefore they had very bleh endings.

I have successfully collected some of the Slithers and Duscur and Church lore I was after so hopefully I remember it this time.

Azure Moon still has my least favorite ending. Byleth is this close to running for the hills screaming.

I played a very "pro-Church" Byleth this time to unlock all the content. My canon Byleth still really does NOT like the Church. Or Rhea. Who never got less creepy.
