It’s Ignatz birthday today! So let me talk about him and my headcanons!

I feel this is widely accepted throughout the fandom but I like to think of Ignatz as transfem, his dream of being a Pegasus knight playing a big part in that

His brother is supportive of his art, he was the first person to introduce him to the idea when he and Ignatz found art supplies that they were meant to sell

Ignatz can’t swim

He’s an unaware flirt

Ignatz is allergic to pollen so the greenhouse is terrible for him, but he still likes to study the flowers in there in order to paint them, despite how aggravate his senses get

As kids, Raphael and Ignatz would play dress up with Raphael’s little sister

Ignatz likes to collect stones to one day turn into paint, but some are too pretty to crush so he also has a collection in a box on his shelf

Follow up because I can’t stop thinking about Ashe’s relationships with Dedue and Hapi specifically,

Ashe and Hapi: wonderful, beautiful, Hapi doesn’t trust the knights for good reason, Ashe’s one dream is to become a knight to help people in his situation. Depending how look at it, Ashe slowly learns to distrust the church of Seiros and the holy knights bc of what they did to Lonato and Christophe, and Hapi would be right there with him as he becomes the knight she always needed.

Ashe and Dedue: Dedue lost everything in the Tragedy of Duscur, Ashe lost Lonato and Christophe to the church of Seiros. They’re both orphans who still find ways to put others before themselves and continue fighting despite the world always working against them. Dedue cooks to honour his family and culture for Ashe who is one of the few who desires to listen. Together they are able to let the memories of their families live on through them and the restaurant they come to own.

These two ships delve so much deeper into each of their characters in such beautiful ways, both endings express that of pure peace, finally able to live a happy life despite the tragedies of their pasts. Ashe and Dedue opening a restaurant together and Ashe and Hapi living happily in castle Gaspard.

I can probably delve further into this if I knew of better ways to express my thoughts, but they mean the world to me and I will never shut up about them.
