i feel like the queer community lost when we started policing labels and making sure everyone used the Correct™ labels instead of letting a person decide what feels right for them

🍚HYRULE: Taste of the Kingdom is HERE! 🍴
I've been working on this with friends for a few months now, it's a 32 page zine that's like a fake cooking magazine with illustrations of the food from Tears of the Kingdom paired with real working recipes written by actual chefs!!!!!!
LOOK HOW GOOD EVERYONE DID AHHHH!!!
⭐️It's up in my store right now⭐️ and for this weekend (nov 17th-19th) it's also making it's physical debut at a few cons:
⭐️Anime NYC:
Artist Alley H16 @hikazio
Dealers 2605 @milqshop
⭐️Kumoricon:
Artist Alley M12 @zetallis
Oh and here's a preview of the recipe list! We included a quick reference icon for vegetarian / pescatarian / vegan friendly recipes this time too, most of the recipes are vegetarian naturally :D
CREDITS (Check them all out!!!)
Recipes from chefs: @lvl1-chef| @jammycooks | @fictionfood
& Delicious art from: @shattered-earth @daniellesylvan @finnichang @onemegawatt @chiouart @hikazio @zetallis @scookart @lowaharts

I was very excited to join the Neverafter zine for d20 zine jam, but I must admit I rushed it a bit in the end.
For this zine I picked The Wild Swans story told by H.C. Anderson to make a character for the Witches, Warriors and Wolves: a d20 Neverafter zine !!
It was fun to imagine how this character would have suffered in a fucked up version of her story (which was already pretty gloomy) and the mistakes she might have made for the worse : P

"spilled brain juice" - a zine made by me!
TW - derealization, anxiety mention, alcohol, references to mental illness and self harm (most of these are referenced in a positive way/pro recovery)
(i may have posted this before but I'm not sure - I've just scanned in all of my zines so they look a lot better than the photographed versions and i can't remember which ones I've already posted)

“(Dragonfly)”: It’s like this: I hold on to my horses all day and it’s exhausting. That or my horses:
run so free they nearly flop dead
stomp vengefully on my life
“(Dragonfly)”: Im the holder and the horses!!

oh yeah i posted my 4.5k word retrospective on running da dgs dogboy zine if you want to read how insane i am in my brain. it basically covers my goals and flubs in trying to make a physical digital zine and some thoughts on current zine production in general. i worked myself up a lot over it at the time but now i feel more laid back

ASH! There is no one like you. Your art is so BOLD and creative and genuinely awe-inspiring. I admire all the slutty, slutty things you make Ed and Stede get up to, while also making them look so pretty and colorful. So glad we have you in this fandom. 💕
I seriously don't have words 😭😭😭😭 have some memes instead 😭😭😭💖🧡💚💙💜💖
Thank you so much marianne!!! 😭💖💜💙💚💛🧡❤️💖😭

got many submissions for inky paws yet?
We've got 11 so far if we include my system's submission: two pieces of short prose, two song lyrics, two short stories (and an accompanying art piece for one of them), three individual art pieces, and two sets of multiple poems meant to be read together.
(It's kind of cool how it all ended up balanced out like that, now that I'm looking at it.)
If we don't get any more submissions this month, I might extend the deadline further. I'd really like to hit a minimum of 15 pieces tbh, and I also really really want to encourage artists and authors who have not published many priors works in the community, or who haven't gotten much exposure when they have, to submit.
