Beware the Daye, little fae.
Beware of her and those in her sway.
Beware her steps, where Firstborn rot,
Unless her favor, they have got.
Speak her name with only fright,
For she breaks our kings, this Knight.
Oh, but children, if you’re lost,
She will take the Sea’s harsh cost.
Daye will save you, if she can
From even Blind Micheal’s cruel, cruel hand.
Thorns and paws do dog her steps,
Following blood from her dress.
Yes, beware the Daye, little fae,
For she will take you in her sway.
Some of the panels under the cut, the rest in a reblog bc APPARENTLY tumblr won’t let me post all 14 at once:
Edit: please, check the reblogs for the rest of this, there’s like five more panels including several of my favorites and I’ve seen at least five people reblog without those

SMALL CONSOLATIONS FOR LETTING IT SLIP BY UNNOTICED
A little karaoke poem I wrote back in 2019. Between writing and illustrating this poem, a global pandemic happened, the bar shut down, we stopped singing karaoke, we found new places to sing karaoke, I painted my kitchen, and I got a cat. I miss the old Sackville but I like the new Sackville too.
(From my zine, Small Consolations, made with support from The Canada Council for the Arts. Thanks to them!)
