Would I be weird for making a prototype sketch of an idea I have for a jellycat plush? Would I be even weirder if I emailed it to jellycat themselves?
#listen. I'm not looking to do this to get money if they were to make the design (not that it wouldn't be nice)#I literally just want to see my idea become real#I think at the most I'd ask to receive a free plush that'd be inspired from my design or maybe ask for the prototype of the plush#even then I don't think I'd go that far even tho it'd be nice#I just want to see this become real#for anybody curious I want jellycat to add to their line of element/sitting dragons#yknow the moonlight dragon the forest dragon and the ruby dragon. those guys#I'm dying for them to make a sky dragon to go with the set#and/or an ice dragon. but I'm more focused on the sky dragon#I have a clear vision of it on my head#ik I've spoken about it before#I just really love this line of dragons and would be excited to see more in a similar style#a sunlight dragon to go with the moonlight dragon would be cool too#don't mind me Im just fixated on this idea rn#if I do create a sketch for a prototype I'll post it here first to gauge others reactions#before deciding if I'd legitimately want to send to to jellycat#not that I think they'd actually use it or even look at it. Im sure they get tons of fan ideas submitted to them#but it might be fun to try yknow?#even tho Im literally not seeking anything for doing it. I just want it to be real and official#I could commission something to replicate my vision but it wouldn't be the same at all#I need there to be silver embroidery used. the faux white leather for the horns. a perfectly shaped snooter.#idk if anybody but jellycat themselves could fulfill my vision#unless I could find somebody who's really good at mimicking their style#I doubt I'll ever look into it tho#viti shoosh

Looks Like A Vampire: Danfeng x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
𓇬♡ | Warning: NSFW, noncon, blood, vampire concept, dumbification, bitting, masochist, cold dragon young(I'm not sry), etc.
Tumblr media
You know The High Elder of the Luofu Vidyadhara is one you should not mess with. You always thought his lifeless eyes and pale skin remind you so much of a dead person. But one night, when the moon is up, he shows his fang before your terrified eyes.
Tumblr media
You inhale sharply when he sinks his fangs into your shoulder. Licking the blood that comes dripping down your skin, while fucking himself deep inside of you. Tears welling up your eyes from the sudden pain mixed with pleasure. Panting heavily on top of him. Your seated body squirm away, but his hold is firm. When the pain slowly overcome with the sweet taste of his cock pounding your inside, your sinful moans filled up his hearing.
You caught a glimpse of his smile from the corner of your teary eyes. His fair lips smeared with dark red blood, one that still seeping out your skin. That sends chills down your back. As he continues to thrust his length up your gummy walls, you see stars while his cold eyes trained on your expression. Sweats addorn your skin like pearls under the moonlight, your pretty eyes closed with a frown. Face distorted with pain and pleasure, while your mind focused on both of your body movements that is connected through his relentless thrusts. You were sure his fangs grazed your skin a few times before they sank into you once more. If you did not die by his quick pace of thrust, you would have died by blood loss from how many times he bites and consumes your blood. Like a vampire.
Though he will certainly keep you alive, healing your wounds every once in a while. His power is flowing through your body like cold waves. Easily reviving any part of you that is almost dead. But could you deny death if it's given to you with these sweet almost heavenly feelings? You choked on his fingers when he thrust up harshly, hitting your deepest spot. You felt his hand on the back of your neck slowly clasping on it. Forcing your limp body to stay seated on his lap as he moves in and out of your sloppy cunt. Your body pressed on his board chest, while you whined out, babbling incoherent words. He simply smiles, placing chaste kisses along the line of your jaw. Soon you come all over him, melting around his length like a warm candle.
"Good girl." He purrs softly beside your ear. You are trying to deny whatever he claims you as, but all you can do is sob and whine. He places his hand on your waist, caressing your sides softly as you feel his thrust slowing down yet still steadily pounding the inside of your gummy walls. Giving you time to come down from your high. You clung on him with hand around his neck, face pressed down on his shoulder.
"Don't fall asleep. We are not over yet." His breath is warm against your skin, yet his tone holds no expression, as if giving you a warning by the ice cold tone. You shake your head weakly as if trying to refuse. But his grip on your hips tightens. As he thrust up your cunt, your body arch. His palm supports the middle of your back. The tip of his cock continuously hits your sweet spots, you feel your eyes roll back. In the midst of it, you mind wonders, eyes pestered at the sight on top of you. The moon is serene. Shining gently in the pitch black sky, outlined both of your body's curves. Its calm nature reminds you of Danfeng's beautiful eyes. Though you found him to be distant and unapproachable.
He grabs your jaws. Forcing you to look at him when his cold eyes staring you down, searching for thoughts behind the glassy eyes. Which he might not find at the moment. Still thrusting deep inside of you, he kisses you. Gently. You didn't dare to kiss back. This time you felt his cold fang graze your lips. You flinch. Not ready for another of his painfull bites.
But he didn't bite you. Instead you feel his warm tongue licks your lower lips gently. Slipping in through your half opened mouth. Tears dripped down your cheek and you wondered if it's because of his warm kiss after all the biting or was it because of the way he rolled his hips against your own. You will never know. And couldn't think more when he pulled up your thighs, grabbing the back of it to push himself deeper. Your back lay flat against the table's cold marble surface. Cunt greedily sucking in his length. You feel his breath against your chest, licking the tender flesh and swirling around the bud. Drools cover the shiny skin of your hills, no bite mark this time. Danfeng will hate to see blood flowing out of your pretty breasts. Buds perked up nicely after he licked them wholeheartedly. Teasing both tops with the end of his split tongue.
Your senses overwhelmed with all the teasing, half of him being gentle with you while the other half ramming your insides in a way that is numbing your mind. You moaned out his name in the middle of your orgasm and the man shivered. He grunts when you pull his hair, hands on his head that was on top of your chest. His pace quickening, your half lidded eyes glassy from the tears. And when he snaps his hips a little bit deeper than last, you were already anticipating his incoming climax. Your body trembled when waves of pleasure washed over you again, before you collapsed.
Body lay limp against his hold. You watch as your cum mixed with his own dripping down, pooling under the table foot. Moon reflected on the mirror in front of you. And you feel ashamed from how messy you have become. The Elder of the Luofu Vidyadhara, what has he done, defiling one of Luofu citizens? You might wish for him to be gone now. Leaving you drowning in your own shame. But dragons mate for life. That one, you didn't know.

Hello, saw your post about httyd and I'm happy there is more people here!!!
Can i please request hiccup and female reader who lives on a small island with dragons? They're friends and she even rides one (personally i think wooly howls are so cool), hiccup finds the island while exploring with toothless and they meet.
Maybe he's fascinated that's there's someone else who's like him who's friends with dragons and doesn't want to kill them, maybe there's species he haven't seen before so he becomes a nerd (i love when he and fishlegs get like that).
It's like a small idea that i thought would be cool to see, i think as a one shot during second movie or race to the edge? Whatever you think is best.
Thank you for your time!!!
YESSSSS, I LOVE WOOLY HOWLS!!!!
I didn't watch rtte, buuutttt this is before the second movie took place 👍
I had fun writing this tbh. And, just so you know, this was written from a platonic perspective! But I also think it can be read from a romantic perspective..
Tumblr media
Hiccup soared through the air, the salty seawater droplets making small contact with his dragon, Toothless, as they slowly ascended higher up into the sky
"How're you holdin' up, bud?" Hiccup questions as he gently pats his dragon. Toothless only let out a huff as a response, his gaze not shifting, instead focused on the scenery up ahead
Hiccup shook his head lightly, suddenly tugging on the dragons saddle as they flew up into the sky
Hiccup watched as they passed each island, every single one already being in his maps. He furrowed his brows as he let out a huff of annoyance, laying down onto his dragons back
He stared up into the sky, glaring at the clouds as he mumbled words and curses underneath his breath. Toothless paid no mind to him, his focus now on the slowly forming, seemingly unknown piece of land
Toothless let out a growl, turning his head slightly towards Hiccup to warn him. Toothless began growling, jerking his head towards the unknown land, desperately wanting for Hiccup to get out of his frustrated state of mind and to look
"What do you want Toothless." Hiccup breathed out as he sat back up, glaring at the dragon as it managed to turn his head to tug at his sleeve
"Hey- what has gotten into.." Hiccup stopped as he watched the huge piece of land slowly coming towards him, "..you" he breathed out as Toothless let go of his sleeve, facing forwards yet again
A confident smile tugged at the Berk boys lips as he quickly grabbed the saddle, laying down a bit so that the two could go faster
As the two were getting closer and closer, Hiccup watched in awe as the island became more clear
It was a pretty decent sized island, lots of greenery all throughout, but it was rich with beaches and had an odd amount of ice clinging to its side
As the Night Fury landed, Hiccup made sure there weren't any traps before getting off of Toothless. His prosthetic leg squeaked once he got off, he brushed off the nonexistent dirt off of his clothes as he looked around, a smile present on his face
Before he could even get a word out a rustle from the bushes caught his attention. He turned his head at the sound, the Night Fury quickly taking a fighting stance as it stood behind Hiccup
The boy extended his arm, motioning for Toothless to not take action as he slowly approached the rustling bush
His heart pounded in his ears as each step he took made his fear rise up. But that fear quickly disappeared once he saw a small baby dragon playing with a stick
Hiccup let out a sigh of relief as he crouched down, petting the little dragon
"You gave me quite the scare there." He chuckled, petting the top of the dragons head. The small dragon purred in delight as Hiccup slowly examined the species
"A Wooly Howl?" He questions, as if the dragon was going to give him a response. He did gain a response, but not from the small dragon
His eyes widened as he heard a low growl, his head rising up slowly to see, possibly the mother of the little dragon. He slowly began moving his hand away from the small dragon
"Hi?" He said, his voice sounding squeaky. The Wooly Howl furrowed its 'brows' as it slowly opened its mouth, presumably to attack
But the Wooly Howl closed its mouth back up as it heard a whistle, its head immediately turning towards the noise. The small dragon purred in delight as it let go of the stick and ran towards a shadowy figure
Hiccup tilted his head to the side in confusion as he inspected the silhouette. It sure didn't look like a dragon, but it didn't look fully human
Hiccup stood up, his eyes squinted as the figure slowly approached. He was even more confused when the thing came into the light
The figure stood a few feet away from the boy, one of their hands clutching onto a makeshift weapon, their mask shining under the sunlight
The figure mimicked the boy's action, tilting their head to the side as they watched him. Hiccup straightened up, and so did the figure
"What are you?" Hiccup question, although it may have been a stupid thing to ask, the boy was just the tiniest bit lost
The figure let out a chuckle, their free hand going towards their face as they slowly took off their mask. Hiccup's eyes widened in shock as he felt like the wind was knocked out of him
The person shook her head, putting her mask under her arm as she adjusted her mess of a hair
"A better question: what are you doing here?" She asked, a small smile present on her features as she tilted her head to the side, waiting for the boy to answer. The boy jumped slightly, clearing his throat as his dragon slowly walked to his side
"I am Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, the son of the Chief of Berk, and I am on a little mission of looking for.. islands." He said, hoping that his full name and title would spark fear into the girl, despite his scrawny physique
But the girl paid no mind to his word, her attention fixated on the Night Fury by his side, her lips slightly parted as she was astonished by the dragon
"A Night Fury." She whispers under her breath, slowly approaching the two. Hiccup stumbled back slightly, staring at the approaching girl in confusion, the Night Fury copying his actions
The girl extended her hand out slowly, waiting for the dragon to sniff her hand before resting his head against it. Hiccup watched in awe, but he quickly snapped out of his daze and pulled his dragon back
"Okay- who are you?" Hiccup asked, his hand gripping tightly onto his dragons saddle as he glared at her, not wanting to let his guard down
"Oh! How rude of me!" She chuckled, setting her weapon and mask onto the soft grass as she straightened up her clothes
"I am Y/n L/n.. the dragon rider?" She awkwardly chuckled, giving him a quick bow. The Wooly Howl let out a distorted chuckle behind her, making the girl, Y/n, give the Wooly Howl a quick glare
Hiccup let out a chuckle, his grip loosening before his hand slowly dropped back to his side. He shook his head slightly, looking around, although there wasn't much to look at since he landed in an area surrounded by tall trees
"Would you like a tour?" His head snapped back towards the girl, who was now oddly closer to him, "of the island." The girl added in case he was confused. He smiled, nodding his head a bit before actually speaking
"Yes, that would be appreciated." He sighed. Y/n smiled as she quickly turned around, grabbing her weapon and mask before mounting the Wooly Howl
"Follow me." She chuckled, her voice slightly muffled by the mask. In a blink of an eye, she shot up into the sky
Hiccup watched in awe as the girl ascended, but his gaze was shifted to his dragon, which had nudged him out of his train of thoughts
Hiccup mounted his dragon, quickly shooting up into the sky as he began following the girl
The two flew side by side, hiccup watching as more of the island revealed itself now that he was flying directly above. He examined the the island with interest, taking in each detail. His gaze dropped onto a small clearing which had what looked like a little shack and multiple little crops, he supposes that where Y/n lives
His breath got caught in his throat as he heard the girl beside him whistle, causing the leaves on the trees to rustle as a couple of dragons ascended into the air, flying below the two
He watched as unfamiliar dragons flew past him, giving the boy a quick glance before quickly switching their direction. He chuckled in delight, turning to look back at Y/n
She gave him a nod before making the Wooly Howl plummet towards the ground. Hiccup watched in shock, but quickly followed her actions, flying a few feet above her
She looked back up, seeing the boy following with determination. Y/n gave Hiccup a small wave, tugging lightly on her dragons fur as it changed directions, now hovering a few feet above the ground
Hiccup's eyes widened as he roughly tugged at his saddle, making the dragon quickly change directions and, luckily, not lose his balance. He let out a sigh of relief, shaking his shoulders before going back to following Y/n
He watched as she slowly made her way towards the ground. He smiled, landing down a few feet away
He jumped off of Toothless and rushed to her, his dragon not bothering to quicken his pace
"Did you get a clear view? Or do you need to take another look?" She asks, kicking the sand underneath her feet lightly. Hiccup shakes his head as he sat down onto the ground, pulling out a little notebook
"No need, I've seen enough." He replied, opening up the book to reveal a map. Y/n looked at the map with curiosity, knitting her brows together in confusion at the odd names of the islands
As Hiccup made the adjustment to his map, Y/n couldn't help but chuckle at the odd names of the islands
Once the boy had stuck the piece of paper to his map, he turned to you with a smile
"What do you call this island?" He asked, eagerly tapping his pencil onto the paper. Y/n stared at the map for a little while before turning back towards Hiccup
"Nita?" She blurted out, clearly not having any idea on what the name of the island was. Hiccup smiled and turned back towards his map
"The Land of Nita, quite catchy." He notes, writing the name of the new island down. Once he was done, he set his pencil down and watched in prude at the multiple islands he had found
He tapped his map gently before turning towards the girl yet again. Watching as the air gently blew her hair and as a smile slowly made itself present on her face
"Are you hungry?" She asks. Toothless' head shot up at her as he eagerly nodded, making the girl chuckle lightly as she stood up, motioning for the two to follow
"C'mon, I'll make you something to eat." She said, taking off her mask and giving it to her Wooly Howl, patting its head gently. The Wooly Howl gave her a huff, gently holding the mask in its mouth as it flew away from the three
The girl made her way into the woods, turning to the two as Hiccup clumsily tried to close his map
The girl chuckled, shaking her head as the boy ran towards her
"Hey- if you don't mind me asking, what was that one blue tinted dragon? I don't think I ever saw one like that!" He asks, giving a poor example of what dragon he was talking about as he began walking next to the girl, the Night Fury being a few steps behind them
The girl chuckled as she slowly began telling him the different dragons that had made their way to this island. Hiccup listened closely, the thought of his friends and father being worried slipping his mind completely as he took notes

dragon religion is an idea i think that is rlly awesome. i hope tui goes over it in the guide, anyway. if u have any specific religion ideas / hcs for dragons.. would they have jobs ?? like dragon priests orrrr idk tbh. sorry if this question is annoying im obsessed w the idea of dragons having religion and religion-based jobs
Originally I had like. a whole "series" of like. ideas for each tribe's religion and mythology, but in the interest of actually replying I'll do like. quick bullet points here and I'll try to fill in more later on ^^;;.
I have like. a lot of abstract feelings n concepts because I've always found it interesting how,,, little religion there is in wof at all. There's barely even really "magic", with only really animuses. wof's characters are occasionally superstitious, but all their superstition is based in like- historical events, like Darkstalker or Queen Oasis's murder, and not like. magic. so I want to keep some of that true because I think it's really fitting for a setting of dragons (who have historically usually *been* the gods, rather than the worshippers !!!) and it's also a rare opportunity to like. get into society without religion (this is a hostile zone for the great ice dragon, I'm sorry I Do Not Care About You and your One Off Mention, God Bless)
ANYWAY. Posting this under the cut bc it's kind of massive, read at ur own risk lol (cw for talk of death/funeral rites but that's really it)
Skywings:
Skywings for me have always been the clearest as like. focusing on historic figures as "saints" (though ik that's a pretty christian concept and word, just hang in there I prommy it goes places)
Point being- I've written about it before here, but for Skywings, the sky is alive and holy in its own right. They view it as the foundation of life and believe themselves (and all dragons, though the other tribes abandoned their way of living) as children of it, originally like birds.
It has some slight. monarchist overtures to it with how the sky itself is like an omnipresent parent, and its moods and shifting currents can be seen as a reflection of Skywing culture. When the sky is angry and casting out its children, there is a lesson that needs to be learned, and it is the collective punishment of all Skywings until the problem is fixed.
But past that, Skywings who achieve remarkable things can be recognized as local guardians and figures of protection- when Skywings die, they return to the sky in the form of clouds. Some Skywings also believe birds to be reincarnated Skywings, especially the spirits of those who rebuke the sky and strike off on their own (which is not an inherently bad thing, but a symbol of independence in its most neutral)
Some Skywing patrons I was thinking of were: the patron of duty- the first Skywing soldier, the patron of children/joy- the first kitemaker, the patron of guardians/parents- the lamplighter, and the patron of Skywing excellence/patriotism- the stormchaser.
Miners who die in Skywing tunnels also achieve something akin to a martyr status- spirits of those who bravely sacrificed their time in the sky to keep the caverns safe and protect those who would follow them. Not one patron, but the collective protection of spirits trapped underneath the ground
Sandwings
Sandwings are similar, but different: where Skywings have patrons who have been given a certain holy power, Sandwings have two kinds of spirits: the family spirits and folk heroes
I swear to god I wrote a Sandwing headcanon post, but I genuinely can't find it at all I don't know where it went. FOUND IT WHILE LOOKING FOR MY ICEWINGS POSTS. READ IT HERE. anyway tho starting with house/family spirits: Sandwings tend towards multigenerational homes, moreso than many other tribes, and remembering your family becomes increasingly important when there's so many of you
Most Sandwing houses keep a small shrine or altar for their dead relatives and their family history- some households have patron animals or spirits that they invoke for a little extra boost of fortune but these aren't like family crests as much as your family's,,, collective mythos
The Sandwing creation myth involves the First Sandwing tricking each animal into giving them a piece of themselves- the stinger and venom from scorpions, the quickness and wit of jackals, the resilience and scales of the lizards, and finally just snatching the wings and size from dragonbite vipers who used to rule the desert, who were reduced to their small snake status and have hated every Sandwing since. So if you want to pay special homage to your family being intelligent, the jackal might be your patron
This creation myth varies WILDLY- it can include many different animals or different exact retellings on what the original Sandwing tricked the animals into giving them, so patrons can vary and can be very house-specific
(I have a little draft, somewhere, of Thorn teaching Qibli her family history post-adoption/rescue and it being one of the moments that Qibli really starts to view her as family and not just the next Cobra)
Sandwing folk heroes are also super varied- I subscribe to Sandwings having a heavy oral storytelling tradition and general,,, art culture, so I'm not gonna write every single possible story you could tell with Sandwing folk heroes, but most of them embody those original Sandwing virtues- resilience, intelligence, and quick adaptability to come out on top
Mudwings
Mudwings already have their own dedicated post !!! yippeeeeee !!!! you can read it right over here :>
Mudwings are also big big oral storytellers but unlike Sandwings the gods are a more active part of these stories and the focus is rarely on individual Mudwings as much as the dynamics of the gods' dynamic as a sibling troupe.
Rarely,,, "worshipped" in the way Skywings will venerate their patrons or Sandwings will maintain their shrines, but passively appealed to and celebrated as like. the broadest encapsulation of what it is to be a Mudwing- the way they're moved by the seasons and their families moreso than anything else
Icewings
I wrote more lists originally about Icewing superstitions, which are right here, and I stand by basically all of that. I don't really know how to incorporate gods into that but I think a lot of Icewing superstition is just. vague cultural paranoia about Things Out There
Icewings have the strongest death beliefs/rituals out of any of the tribes imo- Icewing bodies need to be properly buried or the souls don't get to return to the soil, and become stuck on the ice.
Icewing funerals depend on if you live inland or on the coast- burials at sea are common for Icewings on the coast to allow the body to be taken by the water and allowed to disperse that way (though only when the ice isn't frozen over, as otherwise it may become trapped), and Icewings inland prefer open-air/sky burials that allow the body to decompose in nature.
Winter deaths are seen as bad luck, and are given extra caution and work (which also ties into Winter's role as a black sheep in the family- it's a bit of a dark name to give your child, especially as the youngest/least wanted heir of the family)
Great Ice Dragon,,,, I have no ideas for, I imagine just the source of all Icewings and their father who ensures that, despite it all, they can survive.
Seawings
least religious lets goooooooo
Seawings are just. straight up vibing. They're the most down to earth about being alive in the sense they're just animals like everything else (though they still have their own mixed feelings about dolphins from canon)
Seawings do put a lot of stock into destiny and fate though- almost as much as Nightwings, and they have a healthy stargazing culture and track the changing of seasons and time through the stars more than anything else.
Some Seawings think of themselves as fallen stars- scales still glowing from their core of starlight. Seawings who die return to the sky and come back in the form of comets, it's especially good luck to be born under a meteor shower.
Another common superstition is a Seawing's personal star- this can be as serious as knowing exactly where it is in the sky, or as lax as pointing to one and declaring it yours. This is the star that determins your destiny and is your personal guardian, you can look to it for good luck (plus if you pick right it can be a neat way to teach your children how to navigate).
Seawings LOVE tall-tales though. Almost everyone has a story of the time they 10000% saw A Sea Monster or a dolphin spoke to them in riddles, etc etc. Half the words out of a Seawing sailor's mouth are lies, and the other half are exagerrated beyond all reason (except of course,,, for the ones that are true)
This drives other tribes insane btw, especially the more devout ones like Skywings and Icewings. How are you going to make that shit up every time pls be serious for one moment (never)
Nightwings
The other least religious, but this time for complicated cultural reasons of. well. volcano.
Nightwings love science until they don't, essentially. Everything has a reason except the things we don't understand which are mysteries from beyond the pale that we just have to hope will one day become clear.
TL;DR: SO MANY GHOSTS. EVERYTHING IS HAUNTED.
Nightwings are like the closest to a lot of real world agnosticism- it could be real, but we just don't know yet. Lots of ghost sightings though and subtle signals from the universe. It's a bit of a collective coping mechanism for the loss of their powers + the amount of dragons, like Fatespeaker, who were born under the full moons but without a clear sky and thus only left with confusing powers.
(slaps the side of the canon Nightwing art) These bad boys can fit so much victorian ghost fear in them <3
Mastermind has and 100% would again drink absinthe to perform a seance to Nightwing seers of the past, prove me wrong
I think in older Nightwing mythology, there would have been lots of smaller gods and domains- complicated webs of connected esoteric spirits who each vied for power over the material world through their domains and contact with dragons.
The heart of it all is the Moons though- the three sisters of chance/luck, destiny/death, and soul. Something akin to the three fates but each in collaboration with each other over life.
In ye really olden days, some sects thought these spirits worked through scavengers. These guys are pretty broadly considered a strange cult though, and the history is scant at best.
Clearsight and Darkstalker would've grown up aware of these gods but given special privilege due to their powers- mostly as people exempt from the gods due to their connection to the moons as something surpassing the petty whims of spirits. Priests and priestesses would be preferred as powerless, as a clear head is needed to communicate with the gods fully.
Rainwings
Souls !! lots of souls !! Rainwings believe everything has a beating pulse and could be slash is alive in their own unique way.
The Rainwing gods are serpents- wingless but capable of moving through the trees as though they were flying, their scales a constant mass of brilliant colors. Names and identities are a WIP for me, bear with me as I flesh out these guys ;U;
Rainwings are big storytellers as well, and tend to create their own ideas and religions, in a sense. Being a puppeteer and performer especially is the closest to being a priest that a Rainwing can get- by embodying other things you are essentially changing your soul to align with them
Rainwings also aren't. super religious as much as just committed each to their own truth over a collective myth or story. Each Rainwing builds their own unique sense of mythology from the rainforest.
No gods no masters only fruit >:3c
I have some wips for each of these, some of them fics, some of them elaborations and continued myths, but I hope y'all enjoy them !!! All feedback welcome, as always.

the seven schools of ravenwood masterlist
Tumblr media
Life in Wizard City was never something that you had expected for you, having grown up on the far edges of the spiral in Grizzleheim. All you’d ever known were the harsh winters of a world full of bears, wolves, and ravens. No one quite knew where you’d come from only being found the burnt remains of Draugarth as an infant. Sten and Bo Silverwood of Clan Ironclaw were the ones who took you in and raised you, calling you their hairless cub.
Growing up, you knew you were different. You didn’t have fur like a bear or a wolf, nor feathers like a raven. You were something else, even beyond your physical appearance. Despite having no fur, your skin bore to the elements, you were never cold. Chilly, yes. But in the cold winds that enveloped Grizzleheim, you never once shivered. But your Papa and Bubba never made you once feel as if you were an outcast, they loved you as their own and that’s all that would matter.
As you reached your fifteenth year, more peculiarities began happening around you. Your body would grow warm, becoming unbearable to the point you’d wear the thinnest of your clothes in the midst of snow storms. When it was your turn to make dinner for your fathers, you’d burn the meat to charcoal, eventually banning you from the kitchen. However, the worst was yet to come.
You were huddled near a hearth in Northguard, knees pulled up to your chest as you stared into the fire. You watched the flames flicker and change, almost as if they were forming into small figures; you’d see bears and wolves talk amongst themselves, laughing heartily, ravens fly across the sky, and creatures of myth you’d heard as a young one. Creatures like dragons, imps, and centaurs. You’d thought you were only seeing these things in your mind's eye as you watched the fire, but as you focused more on the dragon, you watched as it grew larger. You rubbed your eyes, thinking it was a trick of the light, but it wasn’t. The fiery depiction of the creature grew and grew, spitting out flames from its mouth, catching onto the roof of a nearby hut. You screamed for help, but with each panicked cry, the fire grew larger and larger. Quickly, the clan rallied to put out the fire, but with each bucket of water thrown over it, it did not settle. Only when your papa had wrapped you into his arms, calming you down did the fire finally die.
“This cub is a demon! We must free ourselves from it!” Kol Shadowsong accused, singling you out. The clan leaders gathered in the Great Hall to discuss what should be done with you, as you nearly burnt Northguard to the ground. Your fathers stood beside you, refusing to back down to let you stand alone.
“Your Majesty, see reason! It’s clear they have no control over this affliction! They meant no harm! They’re practically still a cub!” Your papa shouted at King Valgard.
“And that cub nearly burnt this stronghold to the ground!” The king growled. “If they cannot control it, they are a danger to the rest of us. I cannot allow them to endanger the rest of the clans.”
“But what if they could learn to?” Your bubba countered.
“How?”
“I know.” All attention was turned toward a new voice, Bauldur Goldpaws, the trader. “I’ve heard of this affliction in my travels. It’s called pyromancy! The ability to control fire and summon creatures of that nature. It can be controlled, but only through hard work and training. There is a school that teaches how to control and master this very affliction. Ravenwood in Wizard City.”
You’d only vaguely remembered hearing those names. It sounded familiar, yet you did not know or understand why, like something from a dream.
“That’s halfway across the Spiral and the World Tree connection was severed centuries ago! How do you intend to even get there?” Your papa questioned.
“The skyways, as our ancestors once did.” Bauldur turned to face your fathers personally. “King Valgard has already tasked me with the honor of re-establishing our trade routes. Wizard City is one of those stops. With your permission, I will ensure that your cub will get there safely. They will be enrolled and they will learn to control it.”
“Do they look like me?” You found yourself asking. All attention was returned back to you, and you felt small under everyone’s gaze. “These pyromancers. . . are they like me?”
Getting down on one knee, Bauldur met your gaze. “Yes, child. There are many that look like you. You will be safe and taught to control this,” he gestured to your hands.
Looking between your fathers, you met their eyes. Papa clearly not wanting to let you go, to keep you safe by his side and protect you from the world forever. But Bubba, he knew. He knew this was what was best for you, best for the clan. Looking back to Bauldur, you nodded. “I’ll go.”
The trader looked back to the King, who sighed. “Fine,” he waved his hand. “Your cub may go and learn to control this. . . pyromancy. But they may only return, once they’ve mastered the ability. Then and only then may they return to Grizzleheim. Dismissed.”
Your fathers walked out of the Great Hall, bickering between themselves as you looked up at Bauldur. “We leave at first light, pack heavy. We’ll be traveling for a few moons.”
It was hard to say goodbye, having never left home before and to be gone for so long. . . You were scared. You didn’t want to leave, but you knew you had to. It was for the good of the clans. You packed all your belongings into several chests; your robes, your boots, helmets, hats, and swords. Anything you might’ve needed, you were packed and ready for.
“Be good,” Papa said as he squeezed you tight against him. You buried your face into his fur, trying to memorize every last detail of him.
“I will.”
Bubba hugged you just as hard, if not harder. He knew this was coming, that one day you’d leave, just never imagined it so soon. Pulling away from you, he placed his paw on your face and smiled at you. “My little cub, be proud of who you are and where you’re from.”
As Bauldur said, it took many months to reach Wizard City. Had you gone in a direct route, you might’ve gotten there faster, but unfortunately you were just a ride along. Bauldur had a job to do, re-establishing the long lost trade routes amongst the other worlds of the Spiral. You’d see places you’d never even imagine seeing; the evergreen world of Mooshu, the ancient sand covered temples of Krokotopia, and the endless fields of Zafaria. Until finally, Bauldur and landed at the edge of the world in Wizard City!
Dozens of wizards gathered as the ship weighed its anchor against one of the stone towers. You’d been used to whispers and stares all your life, but this was different, you felt isolated and singled out, as if you were being peered at under an eye-glass. You hid behind Bauldur once he was beside you on the grass.
“Who goes there?” A man with hair on his face and dressed in strange armor questioned.
“I am Bauldur Goldpaws, and this is my ward, Y/N Silverwood. We seek your Headmaster.”
The guard looked between you and Bauldur, “Follow me.” Was all he said before he stiffly started walking towards a tunnel, burrowed deep into the cliffside.
The Headmaster, Merle Ambrose, was stunned to learn that you were there to enroll. No one had ever traveled so far in order to attend. It was a first. But nevertheless, you were enrolled in the School of Fire. Professor Dalia Falmea took you under her wing, giving you private lessons until you’d caught up to your age group. You were a bit of an oddity at first, being the only one dressed in furs rather than the colored robes your peers wore. You’d even shocked everyone when you’d been able to pick up thaumaturgy as a secondary school. But eventually the intrigue and mystery died away as time went on.
You’d been at Ravenwood seven years now, almost finishing your mastery classes. You’d held onto this moment for years. Finally, you’d be able to go home! To see your fathers once again! You’d kept up correspondence with them, sending letters through the trade route you’d helped Bauldur set up. So they knew you were in good health and they were also happy for you. At least up until the past year, the former death professor unleashed monsters onto the city streets endangering the students and their livelihood. Papa almost wanted you back then and there, but there were also growing tensions amongst the clans (at least so you’d heard through Bauldur, your fathers did every attempt to keep it from you) so you stayed in Wizard City. However, none of you could’ve predicted what else was to come.
It was like any ordinary day, you’d just finished your class with Professor Falmea when she called you up to speak with her before you could leave. Shouldering your pack, you walked up to her on the platform.
“Yes, Professor?”
“Ah, Winterflame. You’ve advanced much in these past few years, becoming one of my star pupils.”
Your face grew warm at her compliments. “Thank you, Professor.”
“And as my best student, there’s something I need to ask of you.” She motioned toward the door, glancing behind you, you watched as a bright red haired guy about your age walked in, dressed in red and orange robes. “This is my newest student, Jungkook Dragonpants.”
You furrowed your brows at the name, “Dragonpants?” Did you hear that right?
“Yup, that’s me,” the wizard winked at you.
You’ve never met a student with a lastname like that, the weirdest one you think you’ve heard was Frogtamer. You were going to have to ask him about it later. You turned to Dalia to finish talking.
“Winterflame, I’d like you to help get him adjusted to life in Wizard City. In fact, Headmaster Ambrose suggested it, considering you know how it feels,” she explained. While you knew neither of them meant no ill will, it still felt slightly targeted. There’d been dozens of new students and transfers to Wizard City since you. But maybe he was from far out in the Spiral too, and there was the fact he was also a pyromancer.
“Okay,” you nodded before turning to Jungkook. He was near bouncing on his heels and his eyes. . .His eyes kept wandering around the room, between the professor, the walls, the chalkboard, the cauldron, everything. Okay, you could relate to that, seeing it all for the first time. Trying your best to hide your smile, you nodded to the door. “Come on, let’s go.” The two of you walked out of the school house, and still Jungkook was looking at everything. Bernie, Torrence, Bartleby, Arthur Wethersfield. You remembered being like that, taking everything in all at once. “So on either side of the tunnel are the dorms, yes it’s one door. But your key is what opens the door to your own room, specifically. You get your key from Lincoln,” you said, gesturing to him as he wrote in his booklet. “I can give you a more in depth tour later, so you’re getting the dry run. If that’s alright with you.”
“Yeah that’s fine,” he said, smiling as he looked up at the World Tree.
“So, where’re you from?”
“Oh, I’m from Eeeeerrrr. . .”
“Eeeerrr?” You raised a brow.
“It’s some place far away with a name you wouldn’t know or how to pronounce,” he waved his hand, trying to hand the subject. “What about you? You from around here or elsewhere?”
A bittersweet smile crossed your face. “Grizzleheim, a world tucked away in the farside of the Spiral.”
“Woah, that sounds. . . cool. What’s it like?”
Again, you were confused. How did he not know what Grizzleheim was? Since your arrival and the trade route was re-established, almost everyone knew what Grizzleheim was and how far it was. “It’s cold, a lot closer than here. It rains or snows most of the year, don’t get a lot of sun. But it’s beautiful and it’s. . . it’s my home.” You found yourself stopping on the sidewalk, reminiscing.
“Do you visit often?”
You shook your head. “No, I haven’t been since. . . since I enrolled. It’s-it’s a long story.” You weren’t about to get all nostalgic with a stranger. “But anyways, are you a transfer? Novice, what?”
“I’m new.”
“. . . Are you in class with people our age or younger?”
“Oh, I’m not in class. Ambrose said I can do independent studies to help catch up. Like helping out around the city and anyone who needs it. Speaking of which, where’s Unicorn Way? I was told to go there as soon as I could.” He asked, his head glancing about, this time with intention rather than curiosity.
“Unicorn Way is crawling with monsters, are you sure you were asked to go there?”
Jungkook held up a letter, addressed to Private Connelly in the Headmaster’s handwriting. It was off, but if it was Ambrose. . .
“Through the Commons tunnel, turn left, go down the street, over the bridge, Unicorn Way is right there.”
“Great, thanks,” he smiled as he patted you on the shoulder. “Talk more later?” He asked as he started toward the tunnel.
“Yeah, just uh, meet me in front of the Library, noon!” You called out after him.
“Awesome, see you then!” Then he vanished into the shadows. He was odd, but you were intrigued nonetheless.
A few days later was your rest day, and you typically liked spending it in Olde Town,  sitting on the grass at the edge of the cliff, where Bauldur dropped you off. He wasn’t there, it wouldn’t be for another few weeks before he made his rounds back to Wizard City. When he was there, you’d catch up, then trade the dozens of letters your fathers would write to you and give to Bauldur yours. But days like this, you’d just sit and stare out into the skyways.
“Hey!” A voice pulled you out of your thoughts. Turning your head to the side, there stood the new kid, Jungkook. His face was littered with fresh cuts and bruises, but he still held that same cheery demeanor he had when you first met him. “Whatcha doing out here?”
“It’s my off-day, what happened to you?” You rose to your feet, immediately going to check his injuries.
“Oh, these? Just finished clearing up Unicorn way,” he said with a proud smile.
His words took you aback, “You- you did what?”
“Well it’s not cleared up permanently. There’s still some ghosts, but the skeletons and dark fairies are all taken care of for the most part.” He shrugged as if it was no big deal. “But Prof Falmea said I’m almost to the level of her apprentice level class with how fast I’m progressing.”
“In just a few days?” You were baffled, no one has ever advanced that fast before! At least not without prior schooling.
“I’m a fast learner,” was all he said. “But really, why are you here on your off-day? Are there not a lot of exciting things to do around here?”
“No there are. There’s the Shopping District, Fairgrounds, dueling. . . But I like coming here, it’s where I first stepped foot in Wizard City.” You smiled softly at the memory, you felt so small then. Now no one even bats an eye at you, just another student walking the grounds. “But anyways, how are you finding it?”
“Well, I’ve done a lot of back and forth lately between places, but everyone is nice, given the circumstances. Sorry I had to rush off the other day, but the Headmaster said it was urgent. But I’m seeing a lot of the city, and this place is pretty cool.” He turned to look up at the cliffs of the city, and you followed his gaze. Just barely, you could see the overhead branches of Bartleby. Both of you stood there for a moment, enjoying the view.
“Hey, I’m sorry if this is a weird question but how did you get Dragonpants?” You asked. It’s not exactly a common question to ask, but you were curious. You always were anytime someone gave their name.
“What do you mean?” He furrowed his brows.
“I mean how did you earn Dragonpants as a last name? I got Winterflame because I’m one of the few pyromancers that has thaumaturgy as a secondary. I know a guy broke his wand and earned his last name, another summoned Humongofrog. So how did you get yours?”
All Jungkook could do was stare at you blankly. “Uhhh, I- uh. . . that’s an interesting story. Oh, look at the sun! I need to rush to Firecat Alley. I’ll definitely tell you that story later. Bye!” He then ran down the street, but instead of Firecat Alley, it was towards Triton Avenue.
And that’s not most of your interactions with Jungkook were. You’d see him randomly on the streets in between classes (in between quests for him), he’d always have a new cut or bruise somewhere on his skin. But he was advancing quickly. Every time you saw him, he was further and further along in his independent studies. Last you checked, he was nearing the adept level courses. Despite his quick advances, battles were getting harder and more difficult. So he started asking you for help, which you did. You helped him in Firecat Alley, Triton Avenue, and Cyclops Lane. Dueling beside him was incredible, he was focused and valiant. He didn’t let the enemies get to him, no matter how cruel their taunts grew.
“Doesn’t it ever bother you?” You found yourself asking, as the two of you tiredly made your back back towards the Commons.
“What do you mean?”
“What these- these villains are saying to you? Surely, it has to get under your skin sometimes?”
Jungkook paused, dark eyes almost hidden by his reddish-pink hair. “Sometimes. In the beginning, it did a lot. But the more I fight them off, it’s just becoming more and more. . . annoying than hurtful.”
“Annoying?” You asked, almost chuckling.
“I mean, yeah it’s annoying!” Jungkook’s face broke into an exasperated expression. “‘You won’t get away with this, Young Wizard!’, ‘Malistaire is coming!’,’No puny wizard has ever defeated me!’ Puh-lease! As soon as they start saying stuff like that, the more it motivates me to win out of spite.”
That had both of you peeling over in laughter, earning a handful of odd looks from your fellow students and passing citizens.
The two of you grew closer and closer, but no matter what, he didn’t say much about his past. Nothing on where he was from, or how he got his last name or why he wasn’t properly enrolled in school. Nothing. It didn’t bug you much, you could understand not wanting to answer pestering questions about where you were from, so you didn’t ask. But with each quest the two of you completed, you only had more and more questions. You just felt out of the loop.
However, once his quests started taking him outside of Wizard City, he had to continue going out alone. You didn’t have permission to leave the city, only Jungkook and a few select transfer students were granted that permission. You did your best to keep in touch still, he’d stop by your dorm and ask odd questions about Kroks and other things related to sorcery. You directed him to the library. There wasn’t much else you could do to help, as you had your own studies to focus on.
The last time Jungkook came over though, it was the worst of them. It was already late at night, but you were still up, cram studying for your final mastery exam in two days. After re-reading the same sentence over and over about the differences between sunbirds and phoenixes, there was a harsh knock at the door.
With a yawn, you walked over to the door, opening it to see Jungkook, battered and bruised. His left eye was dark and near swollen shut, his lip was busted, and he was leaning on the door frame for support. “H-hi.”
“Oh my stars!” Your body immediately woke up, helping him into your dorm. You set him down at your desk as you rushed to your trunk, digging through it for a healing potion. Instead you found an old salve from home. It would have to do for now, you hadn’t had a chance to stock up on potions. Jar in hand, you made your way over to Jungkook. Opening the jar, you dipped your fingers in and took out a small glob. “This’ll feel a bit chilly.” Jungkook winced as the balm touched his skin, but he remained still as you continued to apply it to his wounds.
“Smells kinda funny.”
You chuckled at that. “Yeah, it does.”
“What is it?”
“It’s a yarrow-marshmallow salve. Honestly, I forgot I had it. My bubba probably packed it away for me.”
“Your bubba?”
You paused. You didn’t talk much about your homelife to anyone, no matter how much they asked. This was the first time you ever willingly brought it up. With a shaky breath, you continued. “Yea, he’s one of the men who raised me. They’re the only family I’ve ever known.”
“You weren’t raised by your parents?”
You shook your head. “I was found in the remains of an old village, it was attacked by these creatures called grendels. I was the only survivor. I was found, tucked away in a burnt down shack. Sten and Bo Silverwood, my papa and bubba. They found me, took me in, and raised me as their own. Don’t know who my birth parents were, all we could figure is they were pyromancers and traveling across the spiral, probably traders. But we’ll never know,” you shrugged. “And I’m okay with that, I love my dads. And I wouldn’t change anything about how I was raised.”
“You said you can’t go home.”
“Yes and no.” You huffed. “It’s not easy to get to Grizzleheim, it’s months of traveling the skyways. But even if the world door worked, I can’t go back. I was. . . I was a danger to the clan. I had no control over my magic and the king had no choice but to order me to attend Ravenwood until I learned to master it.” As soon as you started, you couldn’t stop. All these years, and you never shared your story with anyone, not outside Professor Falmea. “But my pyromancy mastery final is in a couple days. And next week, Bauldur Goldpaws will return to Wizard City and I’ll be able to go home again.”
Jungkook was quiet for a moment, his eyes downcast. “I’m also from far away but. . . I don’t think I’ll be able to return home.” You’re silent, waiting for him to continue. “I’m from Earth. Where I’m from there’s no magic or talking animals, or anything. It’s just people. Then one day, I almost set fire to my house with my bare hands. I don’t know what to do so I start running. And I ran, and ran and ran until my legs felt like jelly. It gets blurry from there but next thing I know, I’m in the Headmaster’s office.”
“You don’t know how you got here?”
Jungkook gnawed on his lower lip. “I can’t really talk about it. Ambrose said so.”
Orders from the Headmaster, so you let it drop. Maybe in time he’ll tell you in time, but until then, you’ll take what little answers you can. “Can you tell me about your last name?”
That had Jungkook break out into a grin. “He didn’t tell me there were reasons behind last names, just wanted me to have one to blend in. I just chose a random one, thought it was funny.” Now it was your turn to laugh. You smacked your hand over your mouth, trying to muffle your laughter. “Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up. I’m dumb I know.”
“I’m sorry, it’s just, you’re-you’re going to endure weird looks for the rest of your life, you know that right?”
“I signed myself up for it, I just need to make up a convincing story for it.”
Once your laughter died down, you just smiled at Jungkook. With the salve applied, it was slowly bringing down the swelling and discoloration. Running a hand through his red hair, you sent him off. “It’s late. Get some rest.” He did as you were told, walking off toward his own dormitory.
The next morning, you stopped by to check on him, wanting to see how he was faring the day after but he was gone again. That poor boy is gonna get dragged all over the Spiral if he doesn’t learn to say no to a favor. But Jungkook was the farthest thing on your mind as your exam date was coming up. Your nose was stuck in a book or a scroll, you didn’t have time to think of anything else except acing this test and finally going home. That was your sole motivation.
The day of your final, Jungkook was outside your door.
“Hey-”
You cut him off before he could even begin. “Sorry, I really don’t have time.”
“But-”
“Listen, Jungkook, I really don’t have time. I really gotta go, I’m sorry.” You gave him a sad smile as you made a beeline for the School of Fire.
After three long agonizing hours of going through the different types of blade and shield combos, and the various types of spell casts from firecat to meteor strike to inferno salamander and their historical origins. You finally made it out. You answered every question to the best of your ability, and now all you had to do was wait for the results to be posted.
As you left the school house, Jungkook was waiting outside, sitting on the steps of Professor Falmea’s office tower.
“Jungkook, what are you doing here?”
“The door is open.”
His words puzzled you. “I’m sorry, what?”
“The door! You said the door to your home world was severed years ago yeah? Well it's open again.”
“What.”
“Ambrose just told me that the door to Grizzlehiem just opened, no one knows how or why, but it is. That’s what I tried telling you this morning!” He said, smiling. “You can go home.”
Dropping your items, you bolted. In the back of your mind, you knew that King Valgard wouldn’t be happy you weren’t a titled master yet, but damn him. Damn the technicalities, you knew you were a master. You just wanted to go home again. You pushed past all the other students as they entered the World Tree, not listening to their complaints as you rushed towards the door (you could vaguely hear Jungkook apologizing on your behalf as he ran after you).
Hand on the nozzle, you thought of Grizzleheim. Home. The smell of the pines, the crisp snowy air, the laughter of the bears in the Great Hall. You could see it all perfectly in your mind's eye as you opened that door. And there you were, on the other side of the rainbow bridge, at the world tree door.
“Oh, wow,” you heard Jungkook breathe out from behind you.
You took one step out the door; your boots crunched on the dirt beneath your feet as you stood there, taking it all in. “Papa! Bubba! I’m home!” You burst into another run, down the rainbow bride and towards the village, shouting at the top of your lungs. “Papa! Bubba! It’s me! I’m home!” Back on solid ground, you made your way towards your childhood home. Not one thing about this place changed, it was as if you’d stepped back into a memory.
“Little cub?” Your papa’s head poked out from the hut. He looked older, white hairs gathering around his snout and ears. But it was still every bit your papa.
“Papa!” You squealed, adrenaline pumping through your veins so hard, you couldn’t feel your lungs as they burned or how your legs ached with each step you stook. Your papa saw you in the nick of time, opening his arms wide enough for you to jump into his hold. Tears brimmed in your eyes as you dug your face into his chest.
“How- how can this be. . ?”
“Bubba!” You turned to see your other father, standing speechless in the kitchen. You jumped into his arms next. He returned your hug instantly, with your papa returning to hug you from behind once again. Tears were now freely rolling down your cheeks as you held your dads tight as you possibly could.
“I don’t understand, how- what?”
“The world tree door has been re-opened. I- I don’t know how but, I- I needed to come home. It’s been so long.” You cried, your hands gripping tightly onto Bubba’s fur. “I can control my powers. I did it. I learned. I can come home now, yeah.”
“Oh cub, of course.” Papa answered. “You did as you were told by the king. You can come home.” The three of you said nothing further after that, crying and holding each other. Relieved to finally see each other again after seven whole years.
From behind your group hug, you could hear someone clear their throat. “Oh,” you pulled away from your dads, seeing Jungkook standing awkwardly in the door frame. “Bubba, Papa, this is Jungkook Dragonpants. He’s my friend.”
“Dragonpants? What kind of a name is that?” Your Bubba asked, voice low.
“Bubba,” you groaned.
“It’s my name, sir,” he said, not backing down from your father’s clear intimidation attempt. He certainly was brave, very few could stare him in the eyes and not back down.
“Any friend of our cub’s is a friend of ours,” your papa said, narrowing his eyes at his husband. “Come in, tell us all your stories. Everything you left out in your letters.” With a smile, you nodded, turning back to Jungkook who was looking more outside. Wrapping a hand around his arm, you pulled him inside.
“Wait, hang on, is that Nick Jonas?”

Chapter One
Tumblr media
This is a slow-burn love story between Crepus Ragnvindr and Male Reader. The reader will be overpowered but it comes with a cost. Diluc and Kaeya are in their teens if I remember correctly and a part of the Knights of Favonius.
Warning: There will be slight spoilers to the Genshin Impact mangas and will be taking place before the game's events. This story will be mostly focused on Crepus, Diluc, Kaeya, and the Reader. Also, this will be taking its own path with the plot of the manga being mentioned at the end of the story.
This book was inspired by a music playlist on youtube called "POV: You are dancing with Howl but He's slowly falling in love with you." created by Krimson ツ.
~
Ursa the Drake, a dragon that terrorized Mondstadt for thousands of years stood tall in front of Diluc who was frozen in fear and pain. His father, Crepus, moves to face the dragon wearing a glove with a pyro delusion attached without a single hesitation. Chains sprout from Crepus' wrist successfully capturing Ursa. All was still, no one dares to move until Ursa's behavior suddenly changes and becomes aggressively violent. Breaking the chains around itself, Ursa raises its claws to lay a blow on Crepus, who was preparing for the worse.
*CLANK* *SPLASH*
Cepus was forced on his butt next to Diluc only suffering a grazed cut at his side. "Father?!M/n?!" Diluc called out rushing to Crepus' side.  M/n stood in Crepus' place holding Wolf's Gravestone tightly in his grip as he used the greatsword to bock the claws. His teeth were clenched and heavy breaths escape through his nose as he feels blood seep through the rips decorating his clothing in red. M/n lowers the weapons and lifts one hand to free the claps on his cape and grasping one side pulling it off his shoulders. Keeping his feet forward, M/n slightly turns, ignoring the pain in his side, to look back at Diluc and Crepus before tossing his cape in their direction giving them a final warm smile that was soon replaced with a look of determination as he faced Ursa once more. Dulic and Crepus eyes widened as they obverse M/n back. A delusion... no delusions, attached to his clothing alined down his spine: Pyro, Cryo, Hydro, Electro, Anemo, and Dendro.
"I... I was never blessed with a vision," You let out a breathless laugh, your hand brushing the geo visio-delusion at your hip before continuing, "Each one of these was given to me by those who traveled by my side until their last moments..." You held your hand towards the sky, dark clouds surround the area. You slam your arm, multiple lighting stricks flash down from the clouds hitting their target but they don't deter the dragon heading towards you.
"...I told them my promise..." The cooling feeling of raindrops on your face creates a smirk. The raindrops around you come to a stop in mid-air swift reforming similar chains around Ursa holding the dragon in place although it continues to struggle free and inch closer. "...So they asked me to carry them out with them by my side..." You return your grip onto the handle of Wolf's Gravestone as the water chains being to freeze spreading over Ursa's scales.
"...Each time, each one... I was weak and helpless..." The wind picks up at a rapid pace pushing Ursa back all while peeling the ice that tears its scales off. "...Even with these delusions, I'm a failure, a curse... I bring nothing but death to those who follow my promise..." To replace the ice, thorned vines sprouted from the ground while Cecilia flowers flourished underneath Crepus and Diluc, both of their injuries healing.
"...Then I realized my fears, my hesitations, my guilt..." You took a few steps towards Ursa, twirling Wolf's Gravestone in hand. Before stoping raising the greatsword and embed it into to ground. "...Cost many lives... I have a promise... No... I have promised..." Geo spikes shot up aiming at Ursa who let out a roar. Once again Ursa struggles just as before slowly managing to break the vines and leftover ice. "... And I will... ACHIEVE THEM!..." Flames burst from your body and Wolf's Gravestone blade. "...SO LONG AS THIS WEAPON NEVER BREAKS!..." A red wolf symbol appears before you with a faint howl you charged at Ursal. "...AND THERE IS A WIELDER TO ACCEPT THE BURDENS IT CARRIES..." A pillar of Geo spouts out from under your feet launching you into the air. "...NOTHING WILL STOP THE PROMISES... TO PROTECT THE ONES WE LOVE!"
Growing more fierce, the tip of Wolf's Gravestone blade to your fingers and finally down to your elbows was covered in flames. The flames lick your cheeks as it cases your hair into waves of fire. You can feel the flames burn through your clothes and your skin starts to heat in pain. But, you simply lifted Wolf's Gravestone above your head. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Your scream and Ursa's roar filled the air sending chills down Crepus and Diluc's bodies. Due to the brightness of the flames, Crepus and Diluc look away and cover their face with arms. The flames could be seen miles away, those who see from a distant question in fear except for one whose heart is filled with worry.
"Father! Diluc!" Kaeya cries out upon seeing them in the distance with a few knights following closely behind him.
~ Months Ago ~
Humming a familiar tune to himself but an unknown tune to others. The adventurer with his eyes closed sat comfortably in the back of a wagon. His humming soothes passengers as they travel from Liyue to Mondstadt. The mother is thankful towards him for calming her two youngest children as others were thankful for feeling at ease. The wagon carried a Father who steered the horses, the eldest daughter, and eldest son, a mother holding a newborn, a young boy who reset against his sister, and an adventurer with a few resting creates near him. The family was kind enough to allow the adventurer to join them in return he was to protect them from harm seeing as he wielded a vision. The young boy with curiosity moves away from his sister and towards the adventurer. Such movements caught everyone's attention although the adventurer simply continues.
The young boy takes the chance to get a better look at the stranger. The adventurer had (hair color) hair, dressed in strange clothing, black gloves, a black cape attached to the collar of his top it was long to the point he sat on it. There was a geo vision, on top of his left thigh, attached to a belt around his waist.
"Hey mister, what song are you humming? I never heard it before," the younger boy asked. The adventurer stopped humming as he opened his (eye color) eyes and looked towards the boy, a joyful smile raises on his face.
"It's a song my father song towards my mother when he proposed to her. It was a song he sang on their wedding day and their anniversaries. One day, he came to me and taught me how to sing it so I may share its love." The adventurer couldn't help but chuckle when the young boy made a disgusted face as love was mentioned. The two eldest join in the fit of laughter and decided to join in asking the adventurer questions.
The eldest son asked about the adventurer's weapon to which he carefully summoned a greatsword. "His name is Wolf's Gravestone, I was told he survived greater battles and he never fails to protect his wielders and what they fought for. He originally belonged to a close family friend, who was an uncle to me. That old man gave Wolf's Gravestone to me for two reasons; he wanted this weapon tale to be remembered and to continue until the very end of time, the second reason was Wolf's Gravestone deserves a dedicated wielder whose goal could be shared with him and his burdens are trusted upon them." With a flick of his wrist, the greatsword disperses into thin air.
Next was the daughter who asked for his name and his reasoning for traveling. "Hehe... M/n L/n 's the name, and well Tayvat has many places to offer. The breathtaking views, many challenges, and battles to endure on the way. Besides I have a promise to keep after all."
Once again the younger boy wonders what places besides Liyue and Mondstadt have M/n traveled to. M/n cupped his chin thinking to himself. "Hmm... I have been to Sumeru: Never thought sand could be my greatest enemy, Snezhnaya: I nearly froze to death on multiple accounts, Inazuma: although it was short-lived I plan on going back when the time is right-" The wagon came to a sudden stop cutting off M/n and drew confusion. The mother moved to push back the cloth but was stopped by M/n who motion all of them to move further in the wagon before stepping out himself.
Carefully, you moved to the front of the wagon to see the father had stepped down from the driver's seat and stood in front of the horses. He was talking with two men dressed in armor, you notice the symbol on their chest plates identifying them to be a part of the Knight of Favonius. You looked around the environment see that both sides present a wall of rocks, ahead there was a cliff that stretches above and over the pass meaning they were under Windwail Highland.
"Is there a problem, sirs?" You asked standing next to the father giving the knights a sharp look. You were familiar with the Knight of Favonius as they are with you. Frenemies is what you like to call your relationship with them, there were many reasons as to why. But, know isn't the time to reminiscence about it.
Both the knights stiffen when you spoke, the father turned towards you and replied, "Ah! Traveler, it seems that we might need to take another route." You raise an eyebrow looking to the knights gesturing them to explain.
It took them a moment for one of them to answer, "W-well, there's a camp of hilich-" the knight that spoked was elbowed by the other stopping him midsentence. "What I mean is that this path is temporarily blocked off for the time being?" You rolled your eyes and sighed, not surprised by the poor attempt to hide information.
"How long may I ask? I may be able to help the process." You asked before innocently adding, "It would be a real shame to travel at night or camp out, especially with a newborn on board." You internally smirk seeing the knights contemplate before giving up and explaining how a hilichurls made camp on the path ahead. They and two other knights on the other side were instructed to redirect anyone until reinforces came to deal with the camp.
You looked to the sky and glace at the sun's position. If you were to take another route the time you reach Springvale the sun would be set so that wasn't an option. "I deal with the hilichurls, sir please wait here...and knights watch over them for me." You walk past the knights and down the past, you been itching for a fight.

Dragon rider OCs and their Dragons
Something I never understood was all the fans' OCs riding a "newly discovered" second Night Fury/ "Night Fury Hybrid of [X Dragon]"
I get that Hiccup rides one, but it's overused in fanfics, and almost a trope at this point. I understand it's fanfiction, I just think the uniqueness of Toothless should somewhat remain center in a lot of works (there can always be exceptions of course, and I don't wanna sound like I'm gatekeeping or anything. This is also focusing on fanfics in the canon timeline/universe, meaning not modern or modern AU).
Here's some alternative suggestions that have a similar physical structure to the Night Fury species that I think would be more creative for artists and writers alike:
Tumblr media
Light Fury: Probably the most obvious suggestion, but it is confirmed in the Hidden World they as a species are still around and thriving. Although you'd probably have to move around canon timelines for your OC to ride one (hey it's fanfic don't have to totally follow canon)
Tumblr media
Sand Wraith: My personal favorite and choice for my OC, they tend to bury in the sand and do ambush tactics from below. This could be a very creative way to have your character need to ride a bit with another while your dragon waits in the sand for the prime opportunity to strike. Interestingly, they're a Tidal Class dragon, which is also a unique aspect of the night fury like dragon. The canon color is "sandy brown", but sand comes in various colors in reality, so you have a whole array of sand colors to choose from, such as white sand, black sand, orange, yellow, and reds could all work for a Sand Wraith. There's even a dragon with really bright coloration called Veiled Spectruf, with bright reds and yellows, so really any color could work. It even shoots hot balls of sand instead of normal fire or plasma, and are really fast and agile. So you've essentially have a lesser seen, more unique dragon similar in shape to the Night Fury, with, in my opinion, a really cool attack type.
Tumblr media
Woolly Howl: The Woolly Howl was once my OCs dragon, before I did more research into the Sand Wraith, however these guys are still pretty cool and have a bunch of unique writing challenges you can deal with while writing fanfics. The Woolly Howl has scales, that from a distance, look like fur. This would mean any potential rider would need to develop a unique saddle and equipment for their Woolly Howl. They shoot ice instead of fire, and have really good endurance in battle, and in blizzards (a good ability on berk where is snows 9 months of the year). It's a strike class dragon, and has a fast speed and really stealthy in the aforementioned blizzards, and in the sky due to its light coloration. There are even Woolly Howls with brighter coloration such as red, or the legendary Snoggletogg Wraith (a green, white, and red Woolly Howl), so you've got more than just white colors to choose from for your dragon. The Woolly Howl is even considered to be one of the fastest dragons, and some of them are able to fly so fast their tails start to whistle. They're a bit bulkier in shape compared to the Night, Light Fury species, but your character would still have a cool, unique dragon not really seen in the movies, that would still be able to help in a battle.
Of course these are just suggestions for dragons that are similar in shape to a a Night Fury, there are still other dragons out there that are a lot more common but still cool, such as the Gronckle (poor guys are so underrated), Deadly Nadder, Monstrous Nightmare, and more! However these are just some suggestions from a random girl on the internet, so if you disagree, ignore me lol

Skylanders Reviews: Spyro Part 2
Last time we covered Spyro's adaptation into the face of Toys to Life, but now we cover his lore and mechanics a bit. I'm not that experienced of a gamer, so I can't really rank these guys on how mid they are in a speedrun. Instead, I'll just go over Elements and Mottos.
In Skylanders, every playable character has the following: An Elemental Type, a Catchphrase, and a small snippet of Backstory probably written by an intern with only a post-it note of info to build off of.
The main hub world of the game contains the Core of Light, which creates light to combat "The Darkness". It's an ancient relic of supernatural technology and as expected most of the villains want it destroyed so that they can take over the Skylands. It is powered by the elements, mystic forces based on concepts like Fire, Grass, Being Dead, and the Darkness. Let's go over them shall we!
Tumblr media
Air: Refers to any Skylander or Playable Villain connected to the Sky, whether it's because they're a bird or living condensation. Elements of storms, wind, and even flying machines will get you sorted into this Element.
Earth: These first four Elements are easy to understand, they cover our main four bases. Earth refers to characters tied to the floating rocks we were all born on, whether they're one with the dirt or made of shiny rock. A combination of the Ground and Rock types from Pokémon.
Fire: Fire, alongside Water, is the most unsubtle of the Elements. If you look at a Fire Skylander, you'll immediately know what type it is.
Water: A Lot of Blue here, but the Water type focuses mostly on creatures who can manipulate or swim in water. However, this works part-time as the Ice element as well, since Ice is usually just frozen water anyway.
Life: Life covers most bases you'd expect, being both the Plant and Animal type in one. Most of the Skylanders in this Element will be sentient plants or furry creatures, but the Life element also includes concepts of "Life Energy".
Undead: Where there is Life there is Undeath, and here's my favorite Element if you couldn't tell. Ghosts, Ghouls, and Underworld Denizens can be heroes too, so this Element represents the creepy and ghastly of the Skylands.
Magic: We had the four main Elements, and Life and Death, so what else would cover our bases? Magic! Magic is a weird Element as a lot of Skylanders have their own magic, but this Element is actually more of a Neutral type as I'll explain later. Magic can cover any magic type besides necromancy, but this can extend to anything from psychic powers to being a being animated by magic.
Tech: The Nerd type, Tech covers both Inventor and Invention. Skylanders can include genius inventors who build their own signature weapons, or sentient automatons. As this is a separate Element from Life and Undead, we can assume that all inorganic Skylanders of this Element lack any soul whatsoever.
I feel like I'm forgetting something................................nope.
Anyway the dragon, spitfyre or something, what's his deal.
I am taking my info from the following sources: A Character Encyclopedia I got on Ebay, the fan wiki, and the original Website's character gallery via The Wayback Machine.
The creators went the route of "the Spyro games might've have happened, but you can just Imagine whatever happened afterwards."
In Skylanders game Lore, Spyro showed promise as a hero since birth. Part of a rare breed of Dragons, he got into a bunch of pregame adventures in The Dragon Realm where Master Eon, the Headmaster/Professor X of the Skylanders, personally invited Figment to join his League.
Barney is a Magic Elemental but is a Jack-of-all-Trades in all the Elements of Skylands - including The Darkness itself, leading to him sometimes becoming a Nega recolor named Dark Barney.
Tumblr media
This also implies that he died at some point and is now a robot since he never really shows any inventive prowess.
Wheezie in fact has a preference for the Fire Element, but as the Magic Element can act as a "Neutral" type that's where he's sorted. In the Skylanders Academy canon I believe they drop any pretense that he had any games before Skylanders, even retconning Cynders backstory, though we'll get to that later. He's effectively raised by Eon in that canon. This canon is also where he has a homoerotic infatuation with that shirtless beast Crash Bandicoot.
Tumblr media
Motto: "All Fired Up!" - 3/5 Generic and a bit misleading for his Element, but otherwise a fine catchphrase. Well Goodra, you get three Chompies! Not Bad!
Tumblr media
Chompies are the superior life form and thus all ratings will involve a specific number of Chompies out of Five.

pspspspspssps I would LOVEEE to hear more about your wof au 👀
oh you've just opened the floodgates of illness
okaye so for starters all the empires members tribes (so far) goes:
joel (mud)
pixl (sand/silk)
fwhip (sky)
gem (sky)
lizzie (sea)
scott (ice)
jimmy (sea/mud)
pearl (leaf/rain)
and im still undecided on the rest bc the au was thought up Literally yesterday
ANYWAY !! fwhip and gem were twin dragonets, and fwhip got firescales (a little more muted than perils, just enough fire to set dragonflame cacti alight (unfortunately for pix)) and gem can still breathe fire, she just focuses more on other arts, like glassblowing since her flames r the perfect temperature
joel and pix are animus dragons, which Later carries over into s2, with joel using his magic to get the upper talon where he can, but not noticeably so, and pix uses it with his vigil mostly, he follows icewing rules typically with how he uses the magic.
scott is super high class first circle level of position, directly next to the queen, but not labelled as a king. he's more of a super important prince than anything. all of the empires rulers are higher ranked than most other dragons for one reason or another, none of them are queens or kings. lizzie and scott are the only ones that would inherit any position of power at that level, with lizzie already being queen and scott remaining as a prince unless married into kingship.
i dont really have too too much else but i would love 2 brainstorm with u and others if u ever wanna send in ideas !! :} definitely expect more designs and artwork for the au coming tho i'm literally obsessed with it (also @ex-bee helped in alot of it so throw asks their way too about it <|:} )

Hi~ this is my first ever ask so I hope I'm doing it right lol
Hug prompt 6 or 16 for dragon and wolf? Whichever one you like more (:
(Or both I wouldn't mind)
Why, hello! Another FRIEND has entered the spire of which I live! >:D And you wish for the dragon and the wolf to be mushy with each other? Ohhh, I can oblige!
(Sorry this took so long! I had to sit on the idea for a little while! <3)
***
We're gonna go with 16. ‘not wanting to let go’ hugs for this one! :D
Fane was never overly affectionate, and Solas could confidently say he wasn't, either. Years upon years of disconnection from beings capable of such gestures made one...no longer yearn for a brush of hands or a simple hug. Fane's was more complicated, however, body scarred and aching, mind associating gentle touch as if it were a firm slap. He knew this and he respected his dragon's want for space, always asking for consent unless Fane reached out first. It wasn't like they didn't touch; they did. They had their moments, and most of those moments happened in...well, the bedroom; afterglow or not.
Such as now, the both of them situated on the bed, but not in the way most would believe when they were caught casually walking, side by side, in the Great Hall; unassuming minds and nattering mouths awash with impurities.
"Are you certain you're comfortable, vhenan?", Solas asked softly as he idly flipped a page of a book he was reading. Even when 'retired' for the eve, there was still secrets to unfold, information to compare to memory.
"I'm perfectly comfortable.", Fane mumbled from where his face was currently buried in Solas' shoulder; his dragon having taken place behind him, arms firmly, but gently wrapped around his middle as long legs caged him in, knees bent.
Solas chuckled. "I will take your word for it.", he said, instinctively reaching up with one hand to tenderly ruffle a white cloud of hair; his eyes never leaving the page of his book, smile quiet just as the air around them was. "Even as it seems your neck is groaning from such a position."
"Hmph.", was the only response he got, strong arms tightening a hair, pulling his body closer to the one behind.
The action and continued warmth against his back had Solas letting out a contented, quiet sigh, actively finding himself melt into the wall of slender muscle behind; his head resting against the side of Fane's buried one, but still keeping his gentle focus on his reading. These were the moments that no one else saw or even imagined them having, so certain that with how they acted and spoke with each other that they were engaging more...physically. While at times, they did engage in a more...primal sense, it was not all they did. Those acts were cherished, nurtured every time they occurred, like a gentle flame that wished to blaze high, but was kept to an ember for more tender, focused warmth.
However, another type of warmth had Solas letting out another sigh, eyes fluttering shut as a slightly wider smile formed upon his lips, book going limp in his hand, the one in Fane's hair stilling to hold the head it was attached to. He felt lips, careful, slow, tender and hot, brushing, trailing, and gliding along the column of his neck. A firmer one against his pulse had Solas leaning his head into Fane's more, seeking the butterfly heat like a beacon. It would appear his dragon was attempting to build the fire of passion, and truthfully, Solas wanted him to, knowing it had been over three months since the hearth was stocked.
"Fane..", Solas breathed out around a chuckle as another kiss against his pulse had him drawing up his own legs, fingers curling into snowy strands.
"Hm?", Fane hummed in question, but did not stop, did not pause in his stoking, but his arms drew him closer, unwilling to let go, to lose the logs he was attempting to ignite with flaming lips.
"I believe now..", Solas trailed off as squeeze of arms and light nip had him gasping quietly, body shuddering like electricity had struck it before he continued; his voice more strained, the tone dropped. "...would be the time to position yourself more comfortably." It was a prompt, a beckoning call, but the dragon he voiced it to seemed unwilling to listen; his lips traveling and flying with slow kisses, deep kisses, burning kisses.
"Not yet..", Fane murmured against his neck before resuming his kisses, pulling his body closer to where Solas was practically slumped against him, cheeks flushing, ears twitching, and breath quickening from the smoke of desire. "I want to hold you for a bit longer.." The statement a quiet, deep plea, begging for consent with rolling thunder and growl of another being.
Solas couldn't help but smile despite the smoke choking his mind further, tightening his lungs and making him shift subtly against the furs and silk of the bed--their bed--as the striking of lips like flint upon tinder stoked the flames within higher and higher. For a being that could not desire, could not even dare such a thing, Fane was incredibly versed in seduction and how to best invoke it, but his dragon was also soft and caring when he wanted to be, even amidst lust and passion.
Solas could feel it in the kisses upon his neck, his pulse, that were firm, tender, but caring, a light flick of a tongue soothing where a nip was perhaps a bit too harsh for the bearer's liking. He could feel it in how strong arms, bounded with leather and cloth, desperately clung to him, but how idle thumbs would stroke where they could reach in a soothing, caring manner as if to relax him, to tend the flame and guide it gently to its full roar. He hear in it in the quiet sighs through an elegant, deep breaths sounding after as the owner took in a scent that would otherwise turn their stomach; magic.
Yes, Fane was versed in passion, in desire, even as his draconic nature, for all intents and purposes, could not revel in such things, but he was more versed in soft care, in tender guidance. And Solas adored that contradiction with all his heart, with all his spirit as he leaned back even more, resting a hand upon one of the chains around his middle.
"Hold me as long as your heart desires, ma'isenatha.", Solas whispered, voice shaky, but highly content as he kept his eyes shut, basking in the guidance offered to him with a tender smile and heated cheeks. "I am yours." The declaration was soft, sweet, but held depth they both knew all too well, and he knew that with the way kisses halted, arms squeezed lovingly, and a ghost of smile pressed against his neck.
"And I'm yours.", Fane whispered back, voice deep, growling, but nowhere near threatening before he resumed his tending, his guidance of flame and cinder.
Those were the only words Solas needed, desired, to hear as he let the fires engulf him, their tendrils lapping away restraint, their smoke choking his mind to blissful suffocation, and their inherent heat melting away the ice that had long encased his heart and soul. And all the while, he was held back, held firm, by arms that never wished to let go, to let him fall as the sky should fall.
***
Slight spicy again! Eheh! :3 I can't go two minutes without turning up the burner on these two, or making them complete fools! I hope you enjoyed it! Short, but sweet! X3

38 update. I don't know if I posted the update. I'm working on my assignment right now
"Eren! Eren, wake up!" There was a solid crack as an open palm struck his face, Eren gasping down a breath, shooting up, as he's forced awake. The first thing the omega feels is pain. With a muffled cry, Eren's hands fly to his head, the throbbing so hard that it felt as if his head about to split in two "Eren?" Overcome with pain, Eren couldn't stop himself as he pitched sideways and vomited hard "Eren!" God. Erwin was so fucking loud. Everything was way too loud... What the hell had happened? Feeling a hand grab him around the waist, he was barely conscious as he was pulled away from the fresh puddle of sick "Er-win?" "It's Levi. We need you" Levi? What? Why? Prying his eyes open, everything was blurry as it swung in and out of focus. Held tightly against Erwin's side, he's practically dragged along by the alpha "He's taken on three castle mages. He's lost control of himself, and we can't bring him back" "What?" When Erwin came to a stop, Eren blinked as he tried to focus. He could feel something in the air that chilled him even more than the dampness of the night. Wiping at his face, he caught a whiff of the strong metallic tang of blood. The memories of what had happened, sent his knees weak. Reiner and Bertholdt were dead. Obsydin... Obsydin had killed them. Gagging, his body tried to vomit but there was nothing left to throw up, leaving his stomach clenching painfully "'s not Levi. Obsydin..." "I guessed as much by his appearance. We found the bodies. Whatever happened needs to wait, Levi's out of control. The mages went to aid you, but he snapped the moment they got close" This was way too much... Whimpering, he didn't want to see Levi. Not after what had happened... Looking down, Eren struggled against Erwin, there was far too much blood on him. Clumsily, he wiped at it, his whimpering growing louder as it failed to lift "Eren! Eren, don't look. I know you're scared, but we need your help" "It won't come off... I can't get it off" "Focus. Levi needs your help. He's never used magic before, but the mages can't get close" Magic? Levi was using magic? What happened in the time he was unconscious? He couldn't even remember passing out "Where are we going?" "Levi's right there. We're not moving" Oh... it felt like they were "What do we do? You know what to do, right?" No. He had no idea... this whole thing wasn't supposed to be possible. But Levi would never forgive himself for hurting innocent people. Even with the way he was now. Obsydin might be a dick, but Levi was another victim "Get them out of here" "What will you do?" "I'll stop him" "You can barely stand" "You said you needed me... let me go. He'll go after you if he sees us together" "Eren..." "Go!" Erwin released his hold, while Eren's body shook with the strain of remaining standing on his own. Focusing the best he could, he found he was only a few metres behind the three mages. Levi's form was twisted and black, even with the darkness of the sky he could see he wasn't Levi. God... Was that really Levi? Stumbling forward, Eren crashed into the closest mage "Get out of here" "His royal highness..." "You can't stop him. You need to go. I can't protect you, like this" "I'm a mage" The omega was obviously pissy about having his magic insulted "And this is dragon magic. If you can't do dragon magic, you're useless" Shoving the man away from him, Eren managed another few steps forward "Obsydin! Stop this. They're innocent people!" His own yells hurt his head, but Obsydin heard him. Swirling winds rose, hurled towards him with such force he was knocked to the ground. It felt like dragon magic... but Levi wasn't supposed to have magic... "Obsydin! Stop this!" The wind continued, Eren pulling himself up enough to crawl towards Levi's form. That's when the screaming started. At first he thought he'd screamed from the slicing winds, until he realised it wasn't him. It was Levi. It wasn't the laughter or cackling of Obsydin, and the pain in the sound could only be human. Was Levi awake? Oh god... "Levi!" "Eren!" Stupid fucking Erwin. He was supposed to be running away... He couldn't stop to worry about Erwin's stupidity. He needed to get to Levi. Levi's screams only got louder as he got closer, still crawling due to the wind coming off the alpha. Black marks slid across Levi's flesh, while his hair was now so long it waved in the wind like kelp in the ocean "Levi! It's ok! I'm here!" Reaching Levi's feet, Eren used Levi to climb to his feet. Levi's eyes were wide and pitch black, while his flesh felt cold as ice. Taking his lover's face in his hands, he summoned up the little magic he had "Levi! Wake up!" Love and warmth. Trying to summon those feelings within, his magic glowed yellow as the magic within Levi tried to resist the healing. How had the curse gotten this bad? Levi shouldn't have magic. Not watching Levi's hands as he stared into his lover's eyes, Eren screamed as Levi's clawed pierced his sides, sorrow momentarily flashing across Levi's face before Eren was thrown backwards onto the grass. Landing hard on his back, the breath was driven from him. Levi was still in there. He'd seen the way Levi's brow has bunched... He couldn't give up on his alpha. Coughing as he drew himself up to sit, he found himself too far away to launch himself on Levi. Fuck. Fuck... He needed to restrain him. If he restrained him, he couldn't fight the spell... Shit... What magic he did have was trying to heal him, so he needed to work fast. They were outside... ground. Ok... ok... Placing both palms on the ground, his magic tried to fight him as he moulded it. With a creaking groan from the ground, a climbing rose formed. It's spiked branches digging into Levi's flesh as it wove itself around his alpha, with thick branches forcing his hands together before binding him in "cuffs". Howling against being restrained, the more Levi fought, the more he forced into submission until his cries were finally cut off. Collapsing forward, Eren threw himself at Levi unable to make it in time to stop the alpha's descent. Under his touch, the rose began to shrink back into the ground, leaving Levi's hands bound as Eren rolled him over gently. Fuck... Levi was so fucking cold... cold like he was dead. Gathering him, the omega's tears dripped down his face to form diamond as they hit Levi's cheeks. Cupping Levi's face, Eren closed his eyes, forcing out what felt like the last drops of his magic to call to Levi and to heal him. "Eren?" Holding Levi tight, Eren looked up to see Armin standing there. The sword that had started everything was in his friends hold "Why do you have that?" "I... you've been acting weird so I followed you. Is this it? I tried to open it, but I couldn't find a way" Holding his hand out, his exhaustion and panic translated into anger "You idiot! Give me that!" "Eren..." "Armin, give me that! You have no idea what you're holding there!" Reluctantly Armin passed the sword over, Eren nearly dropping it as his body protested his "careless" movements "Do you have any idea what would have happened to you?! Do you want to die?! Stop playing with things you don't understand!" "But Eren... You've been so distant. I wanted to understand why..." "This! This could kill you! He could kill you!" Groaning miserably, Eren started to coughing. He wanted to pass out for a month. Actually. No. He'd done that and that was a no. "Eren?" This time it was Erwin trying to get his attention. Kneeling on the other side of Levi "Is that the sword?" "Armin tried to draw it... Erwin, he's so cold" "You idiot!" Armin cowered back, before balling his fists to yell at both of them "Why won't you tell me what's going on?! You've both been acting strange! I know Levi's not the real prince, and you're Erwin! Why didn't you tell me any of this?! I thought I was your best friend, Eren!" "Armin..." "Eren, you need to leave" Looking from Armin and back to Erwin, the omega's heart sank as his gaze shifted to the armed soldiers behind Erwin. All of them had their swords drawn, ready to attack at any moment "Erwin... I..." "It doesn't matter where you go. Levi killed two members of the castle" "He, no. Obsydin was trying to protect me. They wouldn't let me leave. The wanted to know if Levi had forced me into this. They were talking about Zeke... and he killed them..." "We won't be able to keep this quiet for long. You can't be here when Zeke comes" "You think he will?" "He'll do anything to crush Eldia... If Levi's here, I can't guarantee his or your safety" It was true. Levi had killed two Marley nationals... who were clearly in contact with Zeke. Oh fuck... fuck... they'd kill him. Zeke would kill him... "Eren?" "I... I'll take him" "You can't go to Draecia. We can't have them becoming embroiled in this" Then where was he supposed to go? He needed a dragon's help... a dragon... the dragon from his dream? Historia has said it was a dream, but it didn't feel like a dream. It was as real to him as this was... "I'm going to change form..." "Can you?" Honestly, he had no idea. He had no idea what the collar would do if he did... but Levi needed him. He needed him to get him out of here, before things got even worse "I can try. When I've changed, place then both in my mouth" "Eren..." "It's ok... even if we die, it's better we aren't here" "It's not forever" "If you need to find us, write to Historia. She'll give you a spell to find us, or at least get word to us" "I'm sorry it had to end like this" "Then let's hope this isn't the end" Climbing to his feet, Eren swayed with bloodloss. His whole body felt like a throbbing lump, though the pain in his head had lessened when Levi had fallen unconscious. Stumbling back, he forced his body to shift into his dragon form. He had no idea how long he could hold the form, everything hurt far too much. Turning back to Erwin, he nodded at the man. Hefting Levi onto his shoulder, Erwin carried his unconscious fiancée over to him, where Eren opened his mouth for Erwin to lower Levi in. He needed his claws free in case of unexpected circumstances. Returning, Erwin snatched up the sword, placing it next to Levi "Be careful, and be safe. I hope you find a way to save both yourselves" Closing his mouth gently, Eren nodded, his wings spreading wide as he slowly rose to leave the castle behind. It was too late for regrets and too late to turn back. * Wet warmth turned cold, soft smooth surface, and darkness. Waking in confusion, Levi didn't know what was going on. Feeling his way in the darkness, his fingers fell upon something leathery as a great heaving breath fell beside him. Pushing up against the leather, slivers of light appeared which he followed to down to the base of whatever was covering him. Slipping out from the makeshift shelter, the light of the sun blinded the man momentarily, before everything came rushing into focus. The shelter had been Eren's wing. The blood his lover's, and the light from the front of a cave showing him a forest beneath him. This was definitely not the castle. Moving back to Eren's side, Levi ran his hand along the top edge of Eren's scales. His lover looked pained. His breathing ragged and heavy, his the skin between the ridges of the wing an unhealthy black, almost drawn in on its self like a burn. Following along the wing to Eren's body, his scales were marred by lines of swirling black scales and long deep scrapes still weeping blood. How the fuck had this happened? Reaching for them, Levi growled as an unknown voice rang out "I wouldn't touch those. He's dying" Turning to glare at the unknown man at the entrance of the cave, Levi threw a hand out to protect Eren, despite the fact he was tiny in comparison "What do you mean he's dying?! Who are you? Did you do this?" "Me? I'm just a lonely old drunk. Never touched your dragon boy here, he came in last nights storm, crashing up and ruining all my quiet" Levi looked back to Eren. He'd crashed? Why had he crashed? Turning his back on the man, Levi moved to place his hands on Eren's face, resting his cheek between his nostrils "Eren? Hey... Eren?" "He's sick" He could feel it in each pained breath. Why the fuck was this man even up here? Or better yet, why the fuck were they up here? Last thing he remembered was looking for Eren at their engagement party "Then help him! Eren. Hey... come on, you need to wake up for me" "He's you dragon?" "He's my fiancé. He's a storm dragon... and he's... he's like this because he tried to help me" That was the only reason Eren would take off from the castle with him. Something must have happened and Eren must have fled... Groaning at him, Eren's head slipped sideways, his long tongue lolling out his mouth as something slid free with a solid thud. Covered in spit and drool, and what Levi hoped wasn't blood, the bastard sword that had started it all laid at Eren's lips. Rubbing Eren's face, Levi firmed his tone "Eren, wake up. Come on, wake up! You need to shift back for me" His breathing was so awful that was hard to hear, the stupid collar was choking the life from him. Something deep inside him was desperately worried for Eren, yet the stupid wall between him and his emotions remained "Please. You're the only one I can rely on... even if you don't want to wake up, you have to. I told you no sleeping unless I let you... come on and shift back already" "He's too sick to hear you" "Then help me help him!" "He won't last the night. If he does, bring him down the mountain. You'll find me there" Wait?! What?! Just as suddenly as he'd appeared, the figure was gone from the front of the cave. Levi was torn form a moment, before cursing the drunk. He didn't even know Eren. He had no right to turn up and decide Eren was dying. His omega was made of stronger stuff than that "Eren, you stubborn little shit. I don't know what the fuck we're doing here, or where here is. I'm not about to let you up and die, and leave me here" His dragon didn't move, or make signs of hearing him. How the hell was he supposed to figure out what to do while Eren was like this? "Fine. Sleep then! What fucking use are you, if you can't even save yourself!" Levi wandered around the small cave as he waited for Eren to wake, not that there was much to wander. He'd tried slapping Eren awake. He'd tried kicking him. He'd tried prodding at gaping wounds, before realising half of them were across his belly, and filled with broken bits of trees. He cleared what he could see, but he could hardly roll Eren onto his back to access the rest of the damage. It was probably best he didn't. The scales around Eren's wounds slid off and into his palms with such ease that it was... simply wrong. It definitely seemed to have been a crash landing, like the man had said, yet he was unhurt. He was unhurt and he'd been safely nestled against Eren's stomach where his wing had covered and protected him. Which had to mean Eren had placed him there... Even like this, the omega was frustratingly pure hearted. While all he could do was be angry at his confusion, and angry that Eren wouldn't wake the fuck up. When walking in circles grew too much, Levi returned to Eren's side, settling down and lifting what he could of Eren's face into his lap. Eren wasn't going to die and he was going punch that stranger in the fucking face for dribbling such shit. Spending most of the day beneath Eren's face, Levi was about ready to lose it. If the kid would just shift back, then the stupid collar wouldn't be hurting him how he was. A fact he'd reiterated more than once, only for Eren to keep on sleeping through. With how they parted earlier that day, Levi was confused as fuck when a floating light appeared at the entrance of the cave, followed by the same man as before "He's not dead" "Of course he's not dead. He's too strong to let a thing like this kill him off" "Oh ho ho. Someone's on the defence" "What the fuck do you want?" "I thought you might like a meal, and a drink" "What happened to us disturbing your peace?" "You did. And ruined my whole damn day with thinking 'bout him. Beer never tastes as nice when you've got a gut of annoyance" Moving one hand down, the floating flame burst into a small fire as the man threw a sack at him with the other. He was lucky it landed beside the pair of them, and not on Eren's face "You're a mage?!" Pulling a flask of some sort from his robes, the stranger thumbed the lid off before downing what had to be its entire contents. Waving at him, the man then gestured to Eren midrant "You're an idiot. Who has a dragon and doesn't even recognise one? The last time I was in Draecia, there was a measure of intelligence there" Slipping the flask away, Levi glared at him "We're not from Draecia. Don't lump us with the breathing sack of shit. And what do you mean you're a dragon? You can't show up and pull this shit. Why didn't you help him before?!" The stranger raised a hand to his head "Enough with the yelling. I'm here now, even offering to share my beer with you" "I don't want your beer. I want you to help him!" "Only he can help himself. No one's going to want to touch a tainted dragon" Stumbling the man "tripped" on his own feet, his hand landing on Eren. Eren took the deepest breath he had in hours, before letting it out slowly. It was completely unlike any of Eren's breaths all day. Raising an eyebrow, the man completely ignored it as he stumbled over before basically falling on his arse "His magic's nearly gone. That collar around his neck isn't just for show, is it?" "I thought you didn't care" "Didn't say you did" "Are you sure your a dragon?" "I'm a dragon. He's a dragon... You. Well... hmm. I'm sure you'll look better after a beer or three" Levi wasn't sure if he liked this random man who stank of beer, but there was no way his alpha was letting the jab at his appearance slide "What would a drunk like you know about appearances?" "I know a drunk like me, knows you look like shit. Open the bag, I brought him water" Now that the man mentioned it, Levi was thirsty. He was also starving. Opening the sack, he found half a dozen large flasks, some bruised fruit and a clearish flask "Which one's the water?" "The one without the beer" Great lot of fucking help that. Upending the sack, the man was quick to grab one of the metal flasks "Don't ruin the beer. You're not supposed to shake a beer" Ignoring him, Levi picked the strange flask up. Cracking the lid, he sniffed at it, before taking a cautious sip "Hey. Hey. Hey, that's for him" "I'm not about to give him something that could be poisoned" A few very long moments passed, but when he didn't start vomiting or coughing up blood Levi slid out from Eren's head. Walking around, he knelt down by the edge of Eren's open mouth. He hadn't thought about how he'd get Eren to drink, so he did the only thing he could think of and reached his arm down Eren's throat as far as he could reach before pouring the contents of the strange flask down his throat. Counting to ten, Levi pulled his arm back, surprised to find water still pouring from the flask. Fucking magic. It had to be. Eager to put some distance between himself and the unknown dragon, Levi sat by Eren's nose. His nostrils huffing out warm breath that was far more comforting than the fire "Who are you?" "Me? I'm just a drunk. You though, that's the real mystery. Humans don't come around here, and haven't for a long time. Humans with dragons are even rarer" "If you won't tell me who you are, tell me where we are" "In my forest" "Some help you are" "Relax. Eat. Rest. Nothing out here's going to attack you" "You just said nothing's around here" "I said humans don't come around here. I can't remember the last time I saw one here. But you're not exactly human, are you?" Levi huffed deeply, his reply dripping with sarcasm "Really? What gave it away?" "Black ringed eyes. Black nails. Black hair. A dragon you call your fiancé and the stink of old magic and blood" "That's what happens when a 300 year old dragon curses you. I don't have any idea where the hell we are, or why we're here. I wake up to find him like this, and the last thing I remember is his birthday party" "When was his birthday?" "March 30th" Making a sound like a skyshow light shooting up and exploding, the man wriggled his fingers downwards like the sparkling of the magic would "Happy birthday. You live to suffer another year" "You're an arsehole" "You're the one refusing to eat and drink" "How can I when everything's just a joke to you?! This is Eren's life" "Eren. Eren? Who's Eren?" This man was... He wanted to leap over and strangle him. Pinching the bridge of his nose with one hand, he patted Eren with the other one, hissing out "He's Eren! What is wrong with you?!" "Nothing a human would understand" "Then it's a good thing I'm not exactly human anymore" "You're a child, and a real downer. You're ruining my buzz" "Your buzz?! My dragon is sick and needs help!" "My dragon, this. My dragon, that. He's sleeping. Lighten up" Levi was bordering furious "You said he was dying!" "Did I? I don't remember that. His magic sparks nearly gone, so maybe he is. Do you want a beer?" "No! What's wrong with you!?" "You're wound so tight. I'm heading home" "You can't leave us like this!" "There's a sweet brown goddess waiting for me at home" "You're going home to drink?!" Levi couldn't quite believe it "She's a cruel mistress, so it's best I don't get on her bad side" What? What?! Climbing to his feet, the drunk gave Levi a wave as he staggered towards the opening of the cave "Hey! You can't just leave!" Not giving two shits, the dragon stepped off the edge of the cave and disappeared. Levi was somewhat disappointed when he heard no yell or thud. Dragons were weird.

A New Voice
Warnings: The occasional swear, nothing excessive.
Anything in red is Visceral's thoughts
Anything in blue is BloodClaw's thoughts
Anything in purple is mystery derg's thoughts
BloodClaw shifted uneasily as he trotted into the hunting cave, stalagmites dripping water and splashing a few dragonets as they went in. It was a relatively large cave, enough room for maybe 5, 8, adult dragons to sit wing to wing. He was a tad early, wanting to get a corner spot before the class begun and took the one left of the cave opening to the sky.
'Eesh, I feel old near these dragonets, look at the size of that little RainWing - they're so small!' A familiar raspy voice rattled within his head. 'Duh, they're dragonets, some of these worms are barely 3 years old!' he shot back, but still scanned the room for said RainWing. They were rather scrawny rather than small, maybe a runt? Either way their scales bubbled in bright yellows and rosy pinks as they chatted rather loudly with another SeaWing about the same size of them.
BloodClaw listened for their thoughts, not intentionally, his mind-reading was constant, but he had been focusing on the thoughts of Vic, his parasite-like curse, and the thoughts of other dragons drowned out. 'Oh my gosh why is that dragon so cold? And wet too? Did they go for a swim? Does this school have a lake!? THAT'S SO COOL! I have to tell Ivy about this. Maybe we can meet some other SeaWings and MudWings and maybe even some Ice wings! Oh…' BloodClaw shifted his attention back to Vic, trying to drown out the radiating happiness and excitement purely coming from the dragonet's thoughts.
'Aaaaaand after reading the thoughts of the 7th RainWing today, I can finally confirm they're all either bright and bubbly and adrenaline filled monsters, or sloths in the bodies of dragons.' A snort resonated within the back of his mind, a small smile making its way across his face before dropping into a startled frown as he noticed a dragon from some yards beside him, staring at him.
Awkwardly, he tried to wave his tail at them in a simple greeting but they continued to stare. 'Ooookay, that's weird, kinda creepy, but I'm sure it's fine and they're just zoning out or something.' Shuddering as he tried to ignore their gaze and mostly silent thoughts, he watched as more students filed into the cave, a slight headache growing as he pressed a claw to his temples, rubbing it with a small groan as a distant bell rang, indicating any students who came in later were now late.
'It appears there is another one, a special one at that'
A voice, a new one, sounded in his ear, for a moment he thought it was Vic and whipped around in alarm to see who had spoken in his ear. No other dragon was close enough to do that, and unless a RainWing was playing a prank on him, which he doubted, then something, or someone, was speaking to him, via thoughts.
His tail lashed lightly, just waiting for the voice or something to pop out at him. And it did, at the least the voice did, 'My my aren't you a jumpy one. Just calm down, you're the only one that can hear me.' 'Who the fuck is that?' Both the new voice and Vic's we're now inside his head, along with everyone else's, and it only made his growing headache worse. 'Shut up, both of you. I don't need a mystery dragon voice, a curse, and all the other god-forsaken students' thoughts in my head right now.' He hissed, muttering to himself by accident.
'Talons and tails, you too? I must have been gone much longer than I thought. And...she must not have been lying about that…' The voice which he could now identify as male, muttered the last part, seemingly to themself. 'What do you mean, "you too?" Who's this "she"? And who the hell are you??' He caught himself from speaking out loud again, trying to look as normal as possible with 2 voices in his head arguing along with the slow, loud, bright, and eager thoughts for the dragonets in the cave.
'Who I am is not of importance right now-' 'Sketchy.' 'Seriously sketchy.' The voice paused at the interruption before continuing with a small huff. 'What's important is what I can do for you.' BloodClaw paused, ignoring the voice as he noticed the rest of the dragonets' heads turning towards a young adult-ish looking SeaWing jogging into the room to the front of it. He heard an annoyed hiss from the voice, but ignored it in favor of actually have to listen to a dragon this time.
"Hello everyone! I'm Tsunami, your teacher, and this will be your hunting class. Now before we get to the fun and all, I want you all, starting from you," she lifted a claw towards a heavily scarred IceWing, who narrowed his eyes at her, like some defiant toddler who had just said no to going to bed.
"To introduce yourselves, save questions for until after everyone's introduced themselves," she gave a sharp-toothed grin towards the IceWing, appearing friendly, but her thoughts spoke another story, 'Oh no, this class looks just as troublesome as last year's jade winglet class. But things are different so now there's less tension hopefully for them to start something with.'
In BloodClaw's personal opinion, he already didn't like her, she was loud both inside her thoughts and when speaking. 'I can do something about that if you jus-' 'Nope, shut up. We don't talk until I'm out and hunting and not introducing myself, so zip it.' Another annoyed hissed flowed from muffled laughter from Vic. He missed the first part of the IceWing saying their name, which he silently cursed the mystery voice for.
"-nd I'm from the IceWing Kingdom. My parents are travelling away from home right now and…" He paused, heaving a sigh as his scales glinted from some of the sunlight breaking in from the cave opening. "It's way too hot here." He finished, fanning himself with his wings in a poor attempt to cool himself down. Tsunami nodded and pointed to the next dragonet, who began speaking, and then the next and soon it was all the way to BloodClaw, unfortunately.
He awkwardly cleared his throat, nearly choking on his spit as all the eyes of the dragonets' focused on him, as well as their thoughts, it was a little nerve-racking. "I'm BloodClaw, I'm a SkyWing-NightWjng Hybrid, and umm…" His mind blanked, the basic things he had ready to share vanishing and replaced with things he definitely COULDN'T share.
'"And I'm an assassin with a curse and by the way I'm not really a hybrid, I just look weird as hell because I was born under a blood moon, which guess what, gave me my curse. And also there's two voices in my head and I can read your minds, literally." Now wouldn't that get me a one-way ticket to being everyone's enemy or what? And also probably expelled.' he thought sarcastically to himself, careful not to drown himself in his own thoughts.
"...and I like scrolls and hunting. So I'll probably like this class a lot," he let out an awkward cough at the end.
Tsunami took that as her cue to speak again, "And now you all can ask each other some questions. Don't prod though, if someone doesn't want to answer, they're not obligated to," and with that she sat down. Several dragonets bounded toward each other in pairs or small groups of 3 or 4. Unfortunately, just as he was about to rest his eyes and ignore the dragonets around him, the dragon who had been staring at him earlier, along with two others, had started walking towards him.
'Quick, pretend you don't speak draconic-' He had to resist a snort as he once again cleared his throat, shuffling on his claws as one of the dragons, a MudWing about his size, maybe a bit bigger, began speaking, "Hello! I, like, noticed you were a hybrid and I'm SO excited to like, have you in our group, we're gonna like, be besties okay? Only if you're good with it," She had an annoying voice and way of speaking; call BloodClaw harsh but he didn't exactly trust anyone who used the word 'like' in every single one of their sentences.
He opened his mouth before he was interrupted (the mysterious voice barking a laugh at the karma) once again by the MudWing letting out a way to dramatic gasp, catching the attention of one or two other dragons near them, "OH MY GOSH, like I completely forgot to introduce myself, I'm Mudslide, but everyone calls me Star because like, I'm so pretty," both him, Vic, and the mysterious voice in his head begged to differ, although yes, he noticed the young dragoness was covered from horn to claw in necklaces, jewels, gold tail bands, etc. She appeared to have a rather dull shade of scales, but it was easily unnoticeable by the sheer amount of jewelry she had on herself.
'Self conscious about her body-image, probably bullied or whispered about by some RainWings or maybe even MudWings for having too dull a scale color and tries to hide it with an obnoxious way of talking and all those jewels and gold.' BloodClaw blinked, taking a moment to realize that it was the voice that had said that. Either they had some hidden power or they were extremely good at observing a dragon.
"Nobody really calls her that, just ignore her, I'm Cacti, unfortunately the clawmate to this rascal," A SandWing, with a deep voice, (shit was he attracted to that? shiiiiiit-) spoke up, letting out a chuckle as the MudWing gasped yet again and playfully whacked him with her tail. "Anyways, like, I was wondering if you knew why the NightWings are so grumpy all the time? They live in this AMAZING kingdom, from what I hear, but obviously isn't true because the MudWing Kingdom is the best kingdom, yet they're so like mad and hissy all the time. Or the SkyWings, or like did you not grow up with either because you're a hybrid and they're like hated by most tribes?"
The MudWing was knocked over the head by the SandWing, who scowled at her. "Don't say it like that, not all tribes are against hybrids." BloodClaw hadn't grown up with either tribe so he was at a crossroads on what to say. Maybe they were treated badly by RainWings? I mean they were imprisoned by them so- 'Just say you didn't grow up with either and stop staring at them!' Vic hissed, and he jolted for a moment at the interruption in his thoughts.
"Yeah I didn't grow up with either, my parents raised away from the kingdoms," He said, wishing for nothing more for these dragons to go away, it's not that he outright despised them or anything, he just didn't like talking to other dragons, it was so much easier to talk to prey that didn't talk back. 'And also much weirder, so I suggest you don't do that again, last time the dragon who saw you thought you were talking to a RainWing or something, next time they probably won't ya weirdo.' 'Says the dragon that makes me turn into some emo looking cursed dragon. Seriously you made me eat the insides of a dragon, on SEVERAL occasions!' 'Well did you object on eating it?' 'YES, I SCREAMED AT YOU THAT IT WAS A BAD IDEA SEVERAL TIMES' 'Well sucks to suck then doesn't it?' BloodClaw controlled himself from letting out an upset huff, instead just deciding to ignore Visceral for the time being.
The third dragon was a SandWing as well, and was taller than the other SandWing. "I don't think SkyWings or NightWings have those scales around your eyes though, BloodClaw," The SandWing pointed a sharp talon at the blue scale lining the scales under his eye and the white teardrop just behind his eye. "These are just jewels implants and face paint I've been hearing about. You know, the Travelling RainWings who implant jewels and all that? They aren't my natural scales." The prepared and rehearsed lie came out as easy as the truth as he locked eyes with the SandWing, their black beady, emotionless eyes slightly unnerving him.
Said SandWing was heavily scarred not just on his face, but across his whole body. The war was long over, they definitely didn't look old enough to be alive for even the end years of it. Their mind was hard to read, it felt like trying to read constantly changing words in a book, or rising waters in a flood. Half a thought there one minute, and the next, it wasn't. It gave him a headache to try to read it and he quickly focused on the mind of Cacti. The SandWing nodded, seemingly satisfied (for now) with his answer. They walked off, joining a group of a couple SandWings and MudWings.
A short pause followed before the two noticed, the SandWing beside Cacti was gone. Cacti sighed, scanning the room for the small MudWing before sighing, "I'm sorry I gotta go find her before she pisses off another dragon, see you later BloodClaw," The sentence seemed casual but boy or boy, hearing his name from the dragon's raspy voice was making his heart skip a beat. 'Hehe ga-' 'Shut up or so help me I'll fling myself into the nearest volcano and kill us both.'
Thankfully, Tsunami's voice broke out over the loud chatter of dragons, "Alright everyone! We're going hunting. Dragon with the highest amount of points, which I'll determine based on what and how much you catch, gets an A+!" All the dragons immediately shoved each other to get outside first to catch the most prey and BloodClaw was amused to see this from the sidelines.
After a considerate amount of dragons left, he took off towards the ledge of the cave, the sun slightly hurting his eyes momentarily before he leaped from the edge and spread his wings. Gliding a considerate amount of yards from the other competitive dragons, he finally had time to speak to the mysterious voice.
'Alright whoever or whatever you are, tell me. Who the hell are you?'
