All thirteen (sketches) are now done: finaaaaally :'D

If you've followed along with the other updates you may notice that I did indeed change my plans last minute and the twin combo of 'Kääryle'/'Käärsatsi' into 'Kiitos' and 'Are You?' - those prompts inspired me more in the moment x'D

So yeah - this is the thirteen 'stickers' I will be working on finishing now :3 Feel free to let me know if you'd like me to submit the finished versions seperately or in combilations like this one :3 I might also soon make a post about what sort of rendering you'd prefer for them so keep in touch if you have an opinion there if not that's okay too <3

tdov was like a week ago already but I just wanna say when I came over to vacation slash help my sworn brother move flat he told me, "ever since you said you wanted to get top surgery I've been thinking about it. it's straight up number two on my bucket list"

#bakuspeech #number one is a house bc obviously. if u can own a house wouldnt u #he was very drunk at that time of the evening. I was not bc I have the constitution of a hot air balloon and any stimulant will blow me up #(relatively new development. france fucked me up big time turns out)#we held hand on his bed for like the whole evening. it was honestly very funny in hindsight but we were extremely earnest in the moment #and Im like. working on this thing as well. I dont got meds or therapy lmao Im bootstrappin here #but yeah early last year his bf offered to get me meds and I... turned it down... I think I was worried abt like. idk. something #but one year past looking back Im fully like that was a stupid move you shouldve gotten meds. youve once again fucked urself baku #but yeah with that kinda realization Ive also come to realized I've somewhat? accepted. that I'm just gonna be. like this #this in light of a number of likely chronic stuff too (hence my balloon-like constitution lmao) and #that's kinda bled into the rest of me without me really noticing #but him bringing that up fully unprompted... kinda jolted me out of it #its just. really incredibly sweet. that someone doesn't want me to settle for what I make do with #and like. preps for that work. just kinda held my hand and told me it's possible to do this actually #I didn't really express how I felt very well in that moment I think my brain is very bad and I process emotions with like a day of delay #but. well. juist submitted my last final project for the semester

SooooOOO Hi im about to go on a rant about ancients, guardians and then the uh before ancients

Was on tumblr and then @soaricarus said what if the depths weren't made by the ancients? (Get tagged- you have no idea how much thinking I've done since you made that post)

And got me thinking, is there evidence to support such a theory?

And,,, perhaps yes

The base theory is that the depths and all that is there come from a civilization before our ancients, they simply stumbled across it.

The subterranean echo - two sprouts, twelve brackets - says "so down into the depths you go as so many others before you, drawn to the void again and again, an endless drip drip drip. Much like these tunnels and caves that amuse me so. The bones of forgotten civilisations, heaped like so many sticks."

And I'm thinking why be so amazed by caves and tunnels and such if you made them yourself, right? Bones of civilizations,,,like the buildings that are down there?

We also see statues there and I ran off to my favourite interactive rain world map aaaaand the depths were actually pitch black and uh I went and got screenshots myself-

So these statues, clearly some person right, but they don't look like our ancients. There's no fancy masks you see on their stuff, the whole of depths is weird and odd and different from the rest of the game.

And then we have the guardians with their think rings which are completely unlike anything else

Now the thing that bothers me in all this is our good ol' karma ten symbol

We see that one everywhere, from the guardians, all over the depths statues and ancients. I could say that the karma ten symbol originates from the depths and the ancients just sorta adopted it,,,if you'd like

Back to the guardians um, why have guardians if they're gonna stop you ascending if your karma's bad - I mean yeah safety feature

But clearly the ancients didn't care if they ran through and some got echoed

And the architecture in the depths is different too, you don't really see designs like that anywhere else

And since we find the karma ten symbol there then the symbol is like old old.

The more I think about it the more this makes sense

The ancients dig around make train tunnels, weird dreams, yo let's dig deeper, holy shit caves with weird buildings omg whats that thing with the weird halo.

They go in check it out find the void take a dip in the kfc deepfryer, there's ghosts now. So if 2+2=4 then a correlation must have been made between all the x's everywhere and the void. And we got ourselves the spread of the ascension symbol.

And the iterators- they got a halo.

Not a fancy think ring but it too spins around and changes shape much like if you piss off the box with the rebranded twitter for a face

And I know I sound crazy and perhaps I should have rewritten this to make it sound less insane but we this is just what we got so I'm goin with it

Ok ok, but guardians??? Why do they have four arms?? What's the point??

Now the statues, yeah they got two legs and a head but what is up with the torso. I actually don't know. BUt if you reaaaally wanna stretch it a bit then I guess maybe some four arm structure silhouette is there perhaps maybe?

asddshfjg yeah so i injured my hand like 2 ish days after starting askinsuffereableprick,,,,, i pushed through the pain for like 3 or so posts(not smart), in total there have been 8 posts on that blog that were done with my right hand, everything after oct 7th is left handed lmao

#the hand injury was partially cus of the blog yes #it was mainly hyperfocusing at school for weeks straight but going from that into an intense weekend of dave arting........................#may not have been the best idea lmao #at this point with stabilizer there isnt a Huge difference between my left n right art #but its more noticeable traditionally #mainly if i use a pen then its still shaky as hellllll #my main complaint now is its still much slower And i cant use keyboard shortcuts :(#which slows me down extra much and limits what i can do in some instances #but fcking hell like at the start?? i was filling out a character sheet and there was a 5 minute laughing session cus it was like....#literally incomprehensible #so ive come a long way >:)#the hannd is also maybee kinda getting better a bit #im giving it another month of rest at Least #probably like 2..... hopefully it wont need more then that................................................................#ask #anon #rambles

my brain is so nonsensical, i will see omens in the most mundane shit but then when a dead blackbird appears a little ways away from outside the house i don't even blink

#I feel like theres poems and stuff abt dead blackbirds being omens BDJFDLL #i think maybe it doesnt click as an omen bc i am so wired now to just immediately think about helping put the critter to proper rest #(and then perhaps collect the bones after it decomposes fjfkdl)#i think his skull (he was a breeding male im pretty sure but I'll have to double check the photos i took) is too broken to rly collect #but i did wrap him up in cheesecloth and bury him (the crows did not want him) to check on in a few months #hopefully i can finish cleaning the crow and pigeon and mouse I've got that just need disinfecting #(crows are legal to have remains of here btw i know in some places the MBA doesnt allow it but here it IS legal lol)#i will have to check abt the blackbird probably but just burying him is fine even if he's protected under the MBA i think #better than leaving him out on the road i think !!!#also dw abt th3 bird virus that was going around - i always glove up with good quality disposable gloves and wash my hands + forearms after #I do not play around w dead things fjfkfl i dont want to get sick from handling them #i am very careful abt it fjdkdl and make sure to keep the amount i have to handle them (while gloved) to a minimum #dead animal tw #unsanitary tw #maybe ??? its all sanitary the way i do it but maybe it would make ppl feel queasy or triggered hearing abt it #ask to tag #pippen needs 2nd breakfast

resigning myself to the facts that a) i can't finish the work i need to do without cleaning my room bc my brain is shitting itself and b) i'm too tired to clean it right now so i'm not gonna get work done

i need to just take a break day properly instead of sitting in agony... and i can't tell other people it's important to rest if i can't make rest a priority for myself, so...maybe i'll just try chillin out a lil bit

#my plans r that im probs gonna go shopping tomorrow bcos i need a few bits in town #need to try out sports bras n then also stock up on vitamins and see if they have a pill box w more than 2 daily compartments #plus itll b nice to walk around a bit after pretty much living in my apartment w only corner store trips for the past couple days #and then the day after that i need to go 2 my parents house bcos ill b out of ritalin and i left the rest there #and ill chill all weekend bcos my next essay isnt until the 20th so i can afford it #and then on monday morning i have a phone call w my psychiatrist (!!)#so ill probably be at my parents house for that #and then try and go back to my apartment. itd b nice to do it in the morning-ish but idk if anyone could drive me 2 the bus stop #so itll probs b in the evening #and then once im in my apartment again ill try get cracking on the essay!!!#i know my '1.5k essay in a day' skillz r likely more a response to deadlines than a skill i can enact at will #but like. ill try and enact it #one of the essay prompts is talking abt a local museum exhibit so i might go do that itd b nice to go to the museum #take the day go to the whole museum and take notes on the specific section and let myself think for a little bit #and then do the essay the next day #and then ill b fucking done for the whole summer!!!! yippee #well there'll be assorted miscellanea needs to get done but whatever. final assignment home free #yayyyyy yippee life so nice and fun. i needed this #gonna finish changing my bedsheets and then do my dishes and get myself some ice cream and then just chill!#ough hang on i can kinda feel myself crashing after my meal. tired again. goddammit. hopefully this is temporary #anyway erm yay yippee things looking up for eimear

#ok ok so what im hoping for now is that i'll pass my course #and that im fine for the surgery and that the surgery turns out well without any bad side effects or complications #then i can start recovering nd hopefully gettin my health back #after a couple of months i can probably start going to the gym again #then i'll also apply for a loan and do the rest of my classes thru distance #it'll be a lot of work but if im feeling ok physically nd can eat nd work our then it'll be fine #as i start feeling better i'll try to reach out to my sisters and talk to them. i miss them sm and i cant keep it like this #after the first classes are done i'll apply for 4 more classes nd a loan just to buy myself some time #and then i'll keep working on my mental and physical health #after that i'll either try getting a job or applying to uni or a craft/work related education #i'll keep trying to put myself in waiting lists for appartments #idk i will just keep trying with life. for my mom.#even if everything feels so fkn dark nd hopeless nd scary nd nightmarish rn. i cant leave my mom i just cant.#but im rlly hoping the surgery will go ok bc .. idk how to handle a life w all of those complications that can arise after #so im just rlly rlly hoping. my grandma nd great grandma removed their gallbladders nd they were fine. so im hoping i'll be too

Okay so. What I noticed is that... Acanthe and Uruwashi no Nightingale are the only instances in which nature is just... Left alone? As it is? And signifies positive things. And that fact cane to me a few hours ago and it blew my mind.

Yes there are instances of nature in other Valkyrie songs but most of the time it's about the moon and stars and how they use them to weave something different. Flowers and birds are mentioned but they're mostly used for the past or to like the flowers raisanka to mourn the dreamers that passed away. Then there's the sand in sajou no roukaku which is mostly trapped inside the hourglass, spilled and forgotten. Nature in past Valkyrie songs is mostly about grieve, memories or something to use to build, construct and weave something hopeful. What's manmade is what's beautiful.

Not in Acanthe or Uruwashi no Nightingale though

They're bringers of life and hope. They don't need to be curated into something else, they in and off themselves have value and beauty in them. Nature is no longer a sign of mourning or the past, it's the future and the now.

I don't know if they'll continue doing with these themes or if it's just themes that will be applied to Mika alone. But it's just... I cannot believe it took me so long to notice it or make the connection.
