Sweet Alpha Dangerous Omega
Part 4
When the euphoria of having her alpha in her nest with her subsided, the smell of fresh blood caught her attention immediately.
Moving away to see the body of her partner in detail, he finally noticed the shabby appearance that the alpha wore;  her clothes were covered in dirt and semen ;  her eyes were sunken and her lips were chapped;  Checking further she found the origin of the blood, the soles of her feet were full of cuts and even still had pieces of glass embedded.
Angrily reproaching her alpha with a growl for how careless she had been with her own well-being, she turned to see the leader of her pack knowing that she would know what to do for your recovery.
----------------------------------------
Alcina sighed as she understood exactly what her beloved Cassandra wanted from her.
"Daniela, ask Greta for a first aid kit and tell her to bring a plate of the meal prepared for them, Bela prepare the bathtub with hot water."
"Right away mother"
The redhead opened the door impatiently while the blonde calmly headed to the bathroom in the room.
The matriarch returned her gaze to her middle daughter who was growling at the alpha who was only hugging her, purring penitently, kissing her neck tenderly.  Cassandra frowned but her growls had morphed into a pleased purr.
"Here's mot-Aw Cassie!"  Daniela jumped with joy as she hugged the bag, it had been years since her sister was so relaxed in the middle of her heat.  She still kept her distance from her outside the nest knowing well that her sister would give her a tremendous scratch if she interrupted her moment.
"Daniela, honey, give it to me"
Having it in her hands, Alcina let out a soft chirp to get Cassandra's attention.
The brunette understood immediately, moving out of the alpha's lap and urging her to lie down on hers, the alpha obeyed without thinking, eager to please the omega.
Alcina rolled her eyes as she knelt down to heal the wounds a thought crossed her head *Stupid alpha who can't even take care of herself* however her beta was different *Sweet alpha so eager to please* It was because of things like that that she always obeyed more to her reason rather than her instincts, her beta did not understand that an alpha peasant, without talent, money or lineage, was not worthy of her daughter.
When she finished she heard the voice of her eldest daughter informing her of the bathroom ready to use.  Cassandra had also heard it because she wrapped the alpha in her swarm and took her to the bathroom with Alcina behind her.
When Bela arrived, she looked at the scene with a mocking but happy smile seeing her little sister feel better.  The brunette, now out of her clothes, placed the woman on the edge of the bathtub at floor level and proceeded to help her undress. Naked, the two entered the water.
----------------------------------------
Alcina watched as Cassandra delicately cleaned the filthy alpha and she reciprocated in the same way, there were no touches of lust or looks of desire they were simply cleaning each other carefully.
Alcina coughed, silencing the proud squeak of her beta.
"Bela be a sweetheart and look for clothes for your sister and her pet"
"Of course mother"
After a few minutes a chirp caught her attention immediately because Cassandra didn't like chirping, but her little girl looked at her pleadingly with her hands on the shoulders of the alpha who obviously couldn't walk back to the nest and with Cassandra's wet body she couldn't use her swarm.
Clenching her teeth, Alcina grabbed the dirty beast by the neck but before she could take a step another chirp coming from Cassandra caught her attention. Her daughter looked at her with her hands raised asking to be carried, which surprised the eldest again her brave hunter was stubborn, denying any treatment that would make her look "soft." Another more impatient chirp made the matriarch rush to pick her up, the brunette purred contentedly and snuggled closer to her mother's shoulder.
Alcina responded with her own purr walking back to the room with her beloved daughter lying on one arm and the pathetic alpha in the other away from her chest.
In the room, Bela was waiting with the clothes in her arms, noticing the scene she barely could contain her laughter when she saw her surly sister acting so affectionately;  Next to her, Daniela let out a happy chirp that Cassandra responded to, to the astonishment of her sisters who were used to receiving grunts or growls as answer.
Alcina let the alpha fall to the ground, whose fall was stopped by Daniela's swarm who gently took her to the bed where she offered her some of Cass's pajamas, the alpha took it and dressed quickly.  The older dimitrescu bent down and placed her daughter gently on the bed where the blonde had left her clothes.
Someone knocked on the door and looked out to see her trusty head maid with a tray with a plate of hot food on it and a jug of drink.
"In addition to preparing food for me and my daughters, make sure to send food and drinks that are safe for human consumption."
"Meat from animals and bloodless drinks, understood my lady"
Entering the room she carefully placed the tray on the bed.
Cassandra gave a chirp of thanks to her mother and Alcina responded by stroking her head.
Grabbing a spoonful Cassandra offered a bite to the alpha who shook her head, urging her to eat, Cassandra denied insisting that she eat, the alpha continued denying, Cassandra insisted, the alpha denied, Bela laughed softly, Daniela smiled and Alcina wanted to vomit.
In the end, Alcina had to call Greta to bring Cassandra a plate so that the stupid alpha could eat, although she waited for Cassandra to eat before taking a bite.
Now the two of them were sleeping, the brunette on the chest of the alpha, who had tried to stay awake to protect the omega's sleep, but fatigue ended up winning over her.
Daniela stood guard outside the room, unwilling to see her sister having sex when her heat hit again while Bela was doing the work that she had left aside during these chaotic days.
Now Alcina needed to mentally prepare herself to hear her daughter being defiled by a filthy alpha that she couldn't kill yet.
She needed a good bath and a glass of wine.
--------------------------------------------
Contrary to the Dimitrescu's expectations, Cassandra and the alpha spent the days cuddling, scent marking each other's bodies, kissing without haste or desire, just as a sign of mutual affection and comfort.
Daniela was dying of jealousy and joy.
Bela was fascinated by the alpha's behavior.
Alcina was one step away from jumping off the roof of the castle if her beta didn't stop commenting on how courteous and gentle her pup's alpha was, that beast was not and would not be her daughter's companion. Cassandra would come to her senses at the end of her heat and she would be able to cut that scum into pieces.
Or so she thought until her perceptive Bela told her an absolute truth: "Cassandra still would have to go into heat"
So she had to get used to the presence of that beast until her life ended or Cassandra got bored.
She needed to ask Donna for more cigarettes.
----------------------------------------
An angry growl woke you up immediately but you couldn't dodge the kick that knocked you out of bed and straight to the floor.
Before you could get up, hands grabbed you by the collar of your shirt. Raising your head, you saw the omega, Cassandra Dimitrescu, looking at you red with obvious anger and concealed shame.
"This doesn't mean anything, you were simply the one who was closest, you are a pathetic alpha who was blessed with my attention in a moment of weakness, you are not my mate and you never will be."
The words cut you fiercely.  But you couldn't answer her before she threw you out of the room, where her sisters who were guarding the door were now looking at you curiously.
You could hear the brunette destroying her room the same way she had destroyed your heart.
----------------------------------------
Daniela sighed with her hands covering her face, of course Cass would act like that.
Bela looked curiously at the alpha who was on the ground with a lost gaze. If her scent did not indicate the pain she felt, the tears that fell from her eyes said it clearly.
Interesting, alphas were supposed to be imposing but the one in front of her was crying because of the rejection of an omega.
Was it because of gender? Or maybe upbringing?
She was very curious and her mother had already spared your life, Cassandra could not complain if it was she who had abandoned you, Bela would just pick the pieces.
This will be fun.

More resident evil 8 Au things!
I 10000% agree with you that out of the entire family besides Mirabel her parents are the ones that hate/dislike Miranda the most for obvious reasons. I would say the list of people who hate Miranda goes like this
Mirabel
Julieta and Augustine
Isabel and Luisa
Alma
Pepa and Felix
Camilo and Dolores
Bruno
Antonio
And I thought I might as well flesh out some of the time line so Miranda kidnapped Mirabel at age 8 and experimented on her immediately when they got back to the village it took a week after the experiment for Mirabel to wake up and when she did she stayed with Miranda for two weeks in her house being called Eva the entire time. After that two weeks Miranda sent her to live with Alcina and her Daughters and she lived there with them while her house was being built for about four years. Alcina and the girls were so happy/excited to have her there, Alcina and the girls decorated a room for her and they cleaned up the old playroom and the room that Alcina used to homeschool the girls and had set up a schooling schedule for her (the girls wanted to help Alcina) all before she was even sent to live with them of course Miranda also had a time slot for her schooling it basically went Alcina-Math, art, music and basic social studies Miranda-science(all categories)Daniela- english, Romanian and European history Cassandra- Spanish, German and African history Bela- Greek, Latin and North/South American history. While Mirabel was living there she was absolutely spoiled and doted on as the baby of the family but when she was 12 Miranda made her move into the house that was built for her and made her start doing more Lord tasks (experimenting, going to the church etc.) and she saw less of Alcina and the girls. She completely transforms her section of the village in about 2 years of taking control of it so at 14, she worked long and hard with the villagers in her area going house to house figuring out all the needs of that house and using the money she has access to from Miranda to get them things and because she started putting the money back into the community helping them they in turn were able to have better crop and meat out put which increased the areas income as well after seeing how well her area was and how terrible the other Lords areas were Mirabel talked to Miranda about making the other Lords do the same but Miranda told her outright no stating that way the other Lords do with their free time is none of her business and that as long as they continue to do the experiments like she asks she won't bother them with the care of the villagers so long as they weren't killing too many. So Mirabel, wanting to help the villagers in the other areas, created the orphanage but it's not just an orphanage it's also a school that way the villagers have access to education freely and can try and do better that way. Mirabel gets her family back at 16 and they live with her two months into them living with her the interrupted dinner with Miranda happens and two months after that the family is experimented on three months after the experiments they meet the Dimitrescu family for dinner a month after that they meet Karl when he burst into the house anger at Mirabel because a 16 year old boy he was hoping to have work in his factory was going to her school instead, they meet Monroe two months after Karl when Miranda brought him over to discuss some experiment over with him and Mirabel, they meet Donna and Angie last four months after that Donna had decided to go over to Mirabel's to go over their doll/clothes ideas, they usually do it over at her house because she doesn't like to leave the house very often.
As always any and all artwork is appreciated and loved!
SORRY THIS TOOK ME SO LONG TO ANSWER RAHHHH 🌚🌚🌚
Willing to bet that if they were to rank her on a tier list, Miranda would be in F tier 🧌
But like. Can Mirabel catch a break. She was snatched away from her family and didn't see them for what, 9 years??? I mean jeez, let her BREATH. And sure, she had a substitute family, but let's be real, they aren't exactly the best when it comes to raising or caring for an emotionally and mentally vulnerable child. And then Mother Miranda, with her jealousy and wanting Miranda to be Eva like??? What is WRONG with her 😭😭 in what world is that ok??
And then at 12, literally a child, not even a teenager, she was dropped into a pseudo-Casita that, from what I'm assuming, wasn't alive yet. And even if it was. That doesn't change the fact that she was a child left to run a village and be made to do all these terrible things. And then attend meetings and services along side it 🌚 and being Miranda's favorite didn't change a DAMN thing, she's still treated pretty badly, like face the facts
AND?? WHEN SHE GOT HER FAMILY BACK?? 4 months later she was forced to experiment on them, against her and their will. And Lord knows that if she refused, Miranda would've done something even worse than death 🤠 AND YOU KNOW?? She still manages to be a better leader among the other 4.
Someone get these guys outta here, including Ethan and Rose 😭😭
Unfortunately I was only able to do these two <33 honestly this just helps me visualize them better, but. If you feel like they should look different, lemme know 🤭🤭 or if you have any ideas for what the family to look like. Because I still haven't based them all on bugs yet 🤓☝
Also??? I think as Antonio got older, the mold in his eye spread. Not to his other eye, just a little on the right side of his face and some of his neck. He can still see out if one eye, so at least he's good there <\\33

I come with another prompt idea. I want to know who kissed who first between Alcina and Reader. Was the first kiss soft? Hungry? Maybe a happy accident? You decide.
Pleasant weather called for tea outdoors under the gazebo. Tea also meant you would be serving the lady, which Lady Dimitrescu was looking forward to.
You however were a sweaty mess…
You were newer to the castle, but had become familiar with the staff and your surroundings; you were acclimating well. Except for when it came to your lady. In her presence, you became a bumbling mess. You tripped over your words as much as you did your own feet, and you swore you could feel the color when the blood rushed to your capillaries. RED. Red as a tomato you became. Was it possible to die from blushing? Oh, it was so embarrassing!
Was she tall? Yes.
Was she intimidating? Extremely.
Was she the most beautiful woman you had ever seen? Gulp.
You had met other tall and intimidating women in your life, not as tall as her, of course, but she had an effect on you that you could not control. Every time you saw her you had this incredible urge to kiss her. Her perfectly painted lips curled deliciously upwards when she smiled - gentle or frightening, her smile made you weak in the knees.
You were lost in thought while you waited for the tea. The kitchen was chaos, but your mind drifted…her lips…oooh god, get a grip!
Get a grip. Ha! Nothing worked.
Cold showers? Tried it.
Faking sick? That only worked so many times.
You could not seem to control your awkwardness around her. What was even more frustrating was that your lady seemed to be quite amused by…you and everything you did, even if it was making a mess or breaking a vase (that was Cassandra's fault, and she knew it, but that's a different story).
Other maids were placing bets on how long you'd last. One of them said she saw the lady lick her lips while she watched you scurry from the room.
Wonderful. You were convinced you were going in a cask.
You had been notified the lady was taking her tea in the gazebo, and as you carried the tray outside your heart began to pound, the fragile porcelain tea set clattered in sync with your trembling. Was it your heart or the items on the tray quaking that alerted your arrival? You did not know, but she noticed you. Her golden eyes watched you approach from over the top of the book she was reading. Once under the awning of the gazebo, your lady closed her book and sat it in her lap.
"Your tea, my lady," you tried project with confidence.
Lady Dimitrescu smirked as she looked down her nose at you. "I was beginning to wonder where you were. You are late."
You looked down in shame. The kitchen staff was cleaning a mess Daniela had made, which put them all behind schedule. No matter who was to blame, your lady did not care nor did she have patience for excuses. "My apologies, my lady. Please forgive m-"
"That is all. You are dismissed." She interrupted, waving you off.
Your nervousness was replaced by disappointment and dread. Normally she was happy to have you in her presence but now she was cold and wanted you gone.
"But your tea, Lady Dimitrescu. Please! Allow me to prepare your cup. It would bring me great pleasure-"
"And why would I care about your pleasures?" She purred, leaning into your personal space. As she did, the book in her lap slid off and landed at your feet.
"I-my pleas-OH! You gasped when the book nearly hit the tip of your shoes. You quickly bent over to retrieve the book for her. "Your book my l-mmmphf…"
Life was over. Or had it just begun? Pure terror mixed with a bit of ecstasy raced through your veins.
You had stood up to hand your lady her book, but in your haste you failed to realize you had not cleared the table, the corner of the book clipping the table's edge making you lose your footing.
You had fallen forward and your lips collided with Lady Dimitrescu's own.
Your eyes flew open in pure panic only to see hers close; golden suns set behind thick, black lashes. She hummed as she held you by your arms to keep you from falling further. Your lady….she…she was enjoying this?
Gasping, you pulled back and your elbow crashed into the sugar bowl, sending it to the floor, sugar cubes rolling like dice in all directions.
"I-I Oh, my…Mother Miranda help me!" You cried as you surveyed the damage. "I'm so terribly sorry, I shall take whatever punishment you see fit, but please allow me to replace your sugar before-"
Lady Dimitrescu grabbed you and pressed her lips back against yours. Your knees gave out but she held you, kept you from crumbling to the floor before her, where you thought you should be anyway, begging her for forgiveness.
You could feel her smile into your kiss. Her lips left yours, and sure enough, her smirk had returned. She took your chin in her leather-gloved hand, forcing you to look at her and her only.
"But why, my dear, when I have all the sugar I need right here?"
**Now…choose your own adventure: A) The Lady drains the maid right here and right now - SHE IS SWEET, AFTER ALL!  B) the Lady toys with her for a few days before thinking the maid would be best put to use in a wine – INTO A CASK YOU GO!**

You couldn't sleep, because you were hungry, so you got out of your and Alcina's shared bed and, trying not to wake the vampire lady up, sneaked downstairs, right into the kitchen. But when you entered the kitchen you noticed a shadow. Someone was in there. You turned on the light and spotted Daniela, when she was trying to hide somewhere in the room.
Daniela: Oh, Y/N, that's you! *she sighed in relief* Thanks God. I was afraid that Mother would come.
You: No, she's asleep, so you can... eat peacefully? Mmm... What are you eating?
Daniela: Me? Just a piece of pizza. I noticed that after dinner maids brought some of it to the kitchen.
You: I understand. I'm here for the same reason. Is there anything left for me?
Daniela: Yeah, of course, come here!
Bela: *suddenly enters the kitchen* Ugh... What's going on here?
Daniela: *is surprised as hell* Shouldn't you be in bed, Bels?
Bela: I was going to ask you the same question. What-
Cassandra: *entering the kitchen and interrupting Bela* Could you please be less loud? If Mother finds out, she won't be pleased.
You: *chewing pizza* What is the problem with us eating?
Lady Dimitrescu: Perhaps you four shouldn't be lurking in the shadows, and at least try to explain why you're here?
You: I... Mmm... We were hungry.
Lady Dimitrescu: All of you?
You: *shake your head*

▫️Alcina Dimitrescu is indeed a woman of class - as such, she is incredibly picky.
▫️Every wine is triple-checked for excellent flavour, maids are held to the highest standards, and even her own daughters come under scrutiny from the matriarch
▫️You, however, are an exception. A total accident .
▫️you were never meant to enter the castle, being a lowly village girl. But a rogue lycan had other plans, deciding to drag you (and copious amounts of mud) into the foyer.
▫️Alcina lost her shit upon seeing her immacule foyer absolutely ruined by the likes of you . Yet as she raised her claws to end you, she stopped.
▫️There was something about your eyes - unfocused, and adorably confused- that made her realise that you were something precious.
▫️And that was how your new life begun.
▫️Her daughters have no idea what Alcina sees in you, and frankly, neither do you. Even maids give the Countess an odd look as she sighs with a lovesick expression, watching you trip over the carpet and knock over a priceless vase
▫️Simply put, you're stupid. With an extra helping of clumsy, awkward and let's not forget - a chronic daydreamer.
▫️It was not uncommon for you to walk around with your head in the clouds. You didn't do it on purpose, of course, but it could cause all sorts of trouble.'
▫️Trouble' includes but is not limited to-
•Bumping into a ladder and causing a maid to fall.
•Taking a perfectly placed book from a shelf in the library, causing an almost endless domino cascade of books (Right after Bela had re organised them)
•(You may or may not have had to run from the library asan enraged yell Echoed through the hall)
•Knocking over vases.
•And tables.
•and tables with entire tea sets in them.
•And Daniela's art projects
•flipping an entire bed by accident (?)
•Trying to play fetch with a lycan.
•Trying to befriend the Samca.
•Hosting a tea party with the maroica (it was actually going pretty well until Alcina interrupted-)
•setting soup on fire
•And you once bit Cassandra. It was a very bad decision and you regret it deeply
•Despite all this, the tall lady somehow loves you
______________
"Mother, what is she doing?" Asked Bela, watching you offer a piece of meat to a Samca.
"My darling works in mysterious ways, Bela." Alcina replies, watching the samca eat from your hand.
"Aren't the Samca....dangerous?" She asks, watching your interaction closely.
"Normally, yes, but it seems they find my darling just as precious as I do-" She's cut off by the samca chomping down on your shoulder, beating it's wings as it does so.
"ITS NOT FREINDLY. I THOUGHT IT WAS FREINDLY!" You cry as they rush to help you.

I don’t like you, Mason Mount | Chapter 13
Previous chapter | Last chapter
Masterlist
Tumblr media
"Fucking finally! Where were you?"
"Mum, language!"
"Sorry, darling. But Dani, where were you? You said you would be back for dinner, and it's been an hour! And I've been calling you and you weren't answering!"
"Daniela, is your shirt backwards?"
"It is, grandad” Lola chuckles.
"What were you doing?"
"Ok, that's enough" I say when they finally let me speak. "As you can see, I'm perfectly fine. I just had my phone on silence and got a bit carried away on my walk, nothing else. Can we now please eat? I'm famished."
"Everything is cold" Monica says, crossing her arms over her chest.
"And you still haven't told us why is your shirt backwards" my dad points out.
"I..."
"The door!" Lola says. "I'll answer it!"
"Don't go alone, Lola!" her mum says, walking after her.
"Mason!" I hear her scream.
"Fuck" I whisper.
"Hello. I hope I am not interrupting" he says behind me a few seconds later.
"Of course not, son" my dad replies, getting up from his chair to shake his hand. "How are you? Enjoying your holidays?"
"I am, sir. Thank you for asking. Hello, Daniela."
"Hi."
"So, what brings you here?" Monica asks him.
"She left this on my car" he replies, giving me my phone. I hadn't noticed I didn't have it with me.
"Wait, you were together?" she says, her eyes growing wide.
"We crossed paths and he drove me home, nothing else" I quickly explain.
"Was she already wearing her shirt backwards?" my dad asks him.
"She..." Mason says, trying really hard not to smile.
"He has to go, don't you, Mason?" I intervene, already pushing him outside the living room and towards the front door. "Thank you very much for bringing me my phone."
"Can’t he stay for dinner?" Lola asks. "Grandad was going to tell us stories from when he met grandma."
"Mason has to go back to his family, to have dinner with them."
"I actually don't. They went out for dinner with some of their friends, I'm alone tonight."
"Then you can stay with us!" my grandad says. "Lola, let's get ready a spot for him on the table. Girls, you go do something with that dinner, see if you can warm it again."
"Yes, c'mon Dani" my sister says, grabbing me by the arm and literally dragging me to the kitchen. "I want all the details. Now."
"Details of what?"
"Daniela, I'm not an idiot. You were with Mason, came in smiling, and are wearing your shirt backwards. That smells like sex on the beach."
"We didn't have sex on the beach."
"His car again? Oh my God, you did! Look at the way you are blushing!" she laughs.
"Shh, be quiet!"
"So? What happened? Did you make up?"
"We did, yes" I sigh.
"Oh, that's wonderful news!"
"And I told him that I love him."
"You did what?" she screams.
"Everything alright, girls?" my dad says from the living room.
"Peachy!" Monica replies. "What do you mean with I told him that I love him?"
"Exactly that" I shrug. "He said that he was in love with me, and I..."
"Oh my God!"
"Shh!"
"Sorry, sorry. So you basically confessed your love for each other and then had sex on his car?"
"Yes" I sigh.
"So you are dating?"
"No! We just... I don't know. It is too soon."
"Ok, ok. But, urgh, finally! I am so happy for you, Dani" she says, hugging me.
"Yeah, yeah. Now can we please do something with all this food? I am starving."
"That's what happens when you’ve been burning calories having amazing sex. You need to recharge" she winks, a stupid smile on her face.
"Oh God" I say, rolling my eyes and already regretting telling her anything.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"That was a lovely meal, thank you very much for having me."
"Anytime, Mount" my dad says.
"And that story about your first kiss being at the beach? So cute. Don't you agree, Daniela?"
"Very cute. And you were leaving, so" I say, gesturing towards the door. I can't wait for this to be over.
"Why so eager, sister?"
"Because it's late, I'm tired, and want to go to bed."
"How can you be tired? You've done nothing today" my dad says.
"She went out for a walk and did some extra exercise. Didn't you, sister?"
"Can you please stop calling me sister?"
"But you are my sister" she smiles.
"Mason, let's go" I say, grabbing him by the arm like Monica did earlier and dragging him outside."
"Goodbye, everyone."
"Bye, Mason" Lola says.
"Wasn't that a bit rude?" he says once we are outside.
"Shut up."
"Make me" he replies with a mischievous smile.
"I’m not going to kiss you, Mason."
"Who said I was thinking about you shutting me up like that? You could also slap me."
"I hadn't thought about that, but now that you say it..."
"Wait, wait, I'm leaving. You are capable of doing it" he laughs. "But isn't it a cute coincidence that your parents’ first kiss was at a beach, and so was ours? Like, the real one."
"The real one?"
"The one from today. I'm counting it as out proper first kiss, the one that truly meant something. Mark today on your calendar, it will be our anniversary."
"Who said I want to date you?" I chuckle.
"Daniela... The words that have left your mouth the most during the past few hours, have been I love you and my name. Usually together. I think that says it all."
"Or not."
"I had not missed your stubbornness" he smiles, running a hand through his hair and making me want to do the same. "What?"
"Come" I say, walking towards the road and as far from the house and my sister as I can. I know she is watching us.
"Where are we going?"
"Somewhere private."
"Why?"
"Because of this" I say, stopping and throwing myself at him like he always says I do, kissing him and running my hands through his hair. How can it be so soft?
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"Am I not allowed to call you my girlfriend, then?"
"Nope" I say after we've managed to stop kissing, my fingers still playing with his hair.
"But it’s just that I can't do it just yet, right?"
"Maybe" I shrug.
"You do love torturing me, don't you?"
"So do you every time you smile like that and your dimple shows up."
"I'm starting to think you are with me just because of it" Mason chuckles.
"Maybe" I shrug again. "There is something you can start calling me, tho. Something I think you are dying to say."
"Really?" he says, pulling me a bit closer to him. "Surprise me."
"You can start calling me Dani."
"I've earned it?"
"You have. Congratulations, Mount."
"Yes!" he says, lifting me in the air and starting to spin me.
"Mason, stop!" I giggle. "Think about my dinner!"
"Oh, yes, sorry" he says, putting me down. "Everything in place?"
"So far" I laugh.
"I love you... Dani" he says with a big smile.
"I love you too, Mason" I reply before kissing him again.

Cassandra has a death wish with the drinks she makes. Bela is surprised her sister didn’t get a heart attack. But that is only Bela, what does she know when it comes to the things that her sister does. As long as she’s handling this madness just fine, Bela shouldn’t have any reason to complain.
But the eldest daughter feels obligated to mention what is mixed with the vodka. Because different people like different things right? Some prefer cranberry, others prefer cherry soda, and then there is Cassandra’s mix which is vodka and red bull. Of course, it isn’t for show, Cassandra does drink that monstrosity and thinks most people are okay with this thing.
It isn’t only vodka. On occasion, Bela saw her sister mix espresso with red bull when she needs the extra burst of energy after staying up very late. How her sister didn’t drop dead after drinking that is still something Bela wonders about to this day.
Cassandra never listens though. She thinks it’s okay and as long as her body isn’t rejecting this then why should she stop?
On a morning while the girls were staying over at their aunt Donna’s house, Cassandra did toss espresso in a glass full of the energy drink. It was then that the three sisters saw their very kind and very soft spoken aunt snap.
Donna is very against energy drinks. To the Italian woman, if you need energy you get it from caffeine that’s either in tea of coffee, and that’s about it. Energy drinks are a huge no in her book and she often speaks about it. To see her niece nonchalantly mix two things that have no business mixing together, the woman was sent over the edge.
Donna might have over dramatized it. She didn’t have to go as far as mention how she will tell Alcina that she stood by while her daughter killed herself. Because the woman is convinced that the second Cassandra drinks the beverage, her souks will depart from her body.
Daniela, trying to help her aunt calm down, mentioned that she should relax because “Cass does this a lot you really don’t—“ But she was interrupted because what do you mean she does this frequently?
Donna wonders how Alcina allows this. To which the daughters gulped because their mother doesn’t really know and they figured that what Alcina didn’t know isn’t going to hurt her. But of course, Cassandra is cocky and thought her aunt wouldn’t even know what red bull is which is apparently not true at all.

Christmas in the Castle
(I have been pounding through this drabble since February. Yes, thank you work for sucking my brain dry and only just now giving back my inspiration in the past couple of days. Maybe now I will be able to get the Alcina measurement drabble done too.
Anyways, this was inspired by the art piece done by MARBLENarts, as shown here:

So, without further ado, Christmas at the Castle.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Christmas inside Castle Dimitrescu was… odd, to say the least. The village didn’t truly celebrate it, at least not in the traditional sense of celebrating the birth of Christ, but rather it was done in conjunction with celebrating Mother Miranda. So, while the villagers gathered in the small church, giving praises and singing hymns to their leader, a more traditional version was being held in the castle that overlooked it. And by traditional, that meant the Edwardian Era.
Natural decorations of Ivy, Yew, Laurel, Holly, and Mistletoe bedecked the bannisters, doors, and hallways, along with ribbons of red, gold, and silver trailing about everywhere. Of course, Daniela had to add her own flare when it came to decorating, with colorful paper chains, lengths of cranberry and popcorn garland, and the more modern addition of metallic tinsel strung about the grand chandelier and suits of armor throughout the castle. One marble bust just off the Main Hall even wore a Santa hat… until Bela removed it.
Then it simply began hopping from statue to armor to animal head each and every brand new day of the season, much to the chagrin of the eldest daughter.
While the majority of the staff was tasked with helping decorate or carry in the tree that the Countess had chosen, Magda had been busy with her own duties. Per usual, the Countess had requested special Christmas attire be made for herself and each of her daughters. Such a request came every year, but thankfully they were never the same. Some year they were simple accessories, other years they were coats or cloaks, blouses, skirts, or any other garment Alcina could picture them wearing. Another minor godsend was that she never asked that they be matching. Each item was to be unique to the wearer.
This year’s gift was gowns.
Yes, Alcina gave her input, specifying what details were to be included and emphasizing that no amount of alterations were to be done, no matter how much the girls begged, pleaded, or threatened. Daniela was to be in green, Bela’s dress would be a ruby red, and Cassandra would wear gold, while the matriarch would be clad in white. Not cream or antiqued white, but actual crisp, clean, snow white, accessorized by a long, brilliantly scarlet draping wrap, and a bit of sparkle from the hip that would accentuate the length of her body.
“Really? Two reds? I know you wish to have their dresses reflect their necklaces, but do you think that will be fair to Bela?” Magda asked, well aware that her question might not be received well. “Why not change it to a rose? It is still a red, but different enough from a scarlet that there would be no competing with one another.” Her wording and tone made it seem nothing more than an off-handed thought, rather than a suggestion or counter-argument. The Countess was quiet for a time, mulling over the idea, something the seamstress knew not to interrupt. Let it all come to a natural conclusion.
Hopefully it would be one that was positive.
Eventually the tall woman agreed that, yes, it would be gauche to have them both wear the same color, even if the number of people viewing said garments would be limited. Magda suspected that, even if she were living alone on a mountaintop, Alcina would still wear proper makeup, have her clothing neatly pressed, and maintain proper etiquette, all because she could. And that etiquette would continue until the end of time.
~~~~~~~~~~
“I’m not going to be a goldfinch for my mother.” The voice those words belonged to was tired and irate, as if the speaker had been finally discovered and dragged out of her hiding spot. And, since the speaker was Cassandra, that had been exactly what had happened.
It had been a week since Magda began her project, and it had been going well for the most part. Measurements, discussion of styles, and mock-ups were followed by the the cutting and sewing of fabrics. At least, all but one. Scraps of rose, white, and green fabrics could be found around the sewing room, but the bolt of gold remained rolled up and untouched.
“I take it that your mother finally coaxed you out of your hiding place?” the seamstress asked the taller brunette, who answered with a small snort and roll of the eye.
“If you mean by ‘coaxed’ that she threatened to lock away every single one of my blades and deny me hunts unless I take my sisters along, then yes, she ‘coaxed’ me out of hiding.” With a sigh, the anti-social shadow that was Cassandra slunk into the room, gloved fingers trailing over various objects and fabrics as she went. Thankfully, no blood trail was left behind. At least there was that simple kindness, Magda thought.
“It’s a simple Christmas gown, Cassandra. Nothing more. You’ll wear it maybe once or twice and that is it. I’ll make sure you are absolutely beautiful in it.”
“I’m not going to look beautiful in it. I’ll look like a lemon, and Daniela will laugh at me,” the middle daughter countered, eyeing a pair of shears.
“Well, thankfully it’s gold, not yellow, so at most you’ll look like a gold nugget, not a lemon,” Magda drily commented. In an instant, the distance between the seamstress and Cassandra had closed, with Cassandra’s hand clenched tightly around the other woman’s throat.
“If you weren’t so beloved by my mother, I would see how well that gold fabric soaks up your spilt blood,” she growled before retreating back to her original position in the room. There was a silence that filled the air as Magda rubbed her throat; one of acknowledging mistakes being made and pondering how to fix this problem. Mostly this thinking was on Magda’s part, as Cassandra preferred not to concern herself on the subject of dresses.
“What if… we chose a different color?” Magda offered after a few quiet moments. “One where Daniela couldn’t make fun of you?”
“What, purple? Eggplant. Orange? That’s obvious. Black? Mother wouldn’t allow. Brown? Silver?” she just laughed.
“Blue, Cassandra.” The response was firm, but even toned, with reassurance growing as she spoke. “A nice, soft shade of blue. Not too dark and not too light. You would look elegant, and your sisters would be hard pressed to come up with a way to make fun of you.” Cassandra fidgeted back in forth with the suggestion, her mind worrying at it like a dog with a bone, trying to find any problem with it. There was really no way you could make fun of the color blue. Sure, the sky could be a choice, but that was a vast and wonderful thing. Birds and flowers were too, but bluebells and bluebirds didn’t have a sticking point that other jabs did.
“All right, fine. Blue. That sounds… fine. Anything else? The shape? The look? I don’t want bows or ribbons or girly things. That’s not me.” Ever the stubborn child.
“I know your preferences, Cassandra, and I promise your dress will not be girly. Daniela’s is a green velvet with slink and sex appeal, as she put it. Bela’s is a rose taffeta that will speak of status and royalty, and your mother’s is a white beaded silk that is absolutely full of sophistication and good taste. Yours, though? Yours will be… you. A silk linen, showing the weave and weft of the fabric if you look close enough. Yes, I would like to add some minor frills with lace trims, but no more than what your own necklace and makeup do for you. You will look elegant, but not outrageous.”
“Fine, whatever. Just don’t make me look like an idiot,” she replied, crossing her arms with an exasperated sigh.
~~~~~~~~~~
They worked together over the next few days; designing, measuring, and fitting. It would have gone faster had they kept to normal hours, but Cassandra insisted on having her work done late at night, when most of the household was either asleep or preoccupied with other activities. Did take a toll on Magda? Yes. Which was why, upon learning the intentions of the middle Dimitrescu daughter, she worked quickly to finish the other gowns, allowing her a few more hours of sleep as each one was finished.
Daniela’s came together the quickest, as it was the most simplistic; all thanks to the redhead’s desire to make it sexy and off the shoulder. A bit unorthodox, but the demands were met, and Magda promised that the youngest Dimitrescu daughter would be very sexy, especially if she added black, opera-length gloves to the dark hunter green dress. Yes, the Countess had said no alterations were to be done, but these were simply tweaks, especially compared to Cassandra’s changes.
Bela’s present? Magda’s relationship with her allowed some respite, perhaps even some leisure while creating the garment, as the eldest daughter assisted in small, time-saving ways. Much to Magda’s chagrin, she cut a few of the pattern pieces out while the seamstress was absent retrieving supply deliveries. She even assisted in pinning and preparing them for sewing, but the line was drawn for any further assistance. After all, it wouldn’t be much of a present if the person it was intended for did most of the work. Nonetheless, the help was appreciated.
Alcina’s gown naturally took the longest, if only due to the amount of fabric and how much was needed to be layered one on top of the other. Admittedly, a corner was cut when it came to the bit of sparkle from the hip to the hem. As much as Magda wanted to, the idea of hand-embroidering metallic thread with crystals and beadwork was not going to happen, not when it was such a large surface to cover. Thankfully, her fabric sources had found a roll of white satin beautifully decorated with crystalline roses and snowflakes, the design of which would work perfectly with the silhouette.
~~~~~~~
It was the final days leading up to Christmas, and Magda was finishing hand-sewing the lacework along Cassandra’s neckline, when that very person darkened her doorway once more.
“What if she’s not happy with me not being in yellow?” the tall figure asked, lingering on the threshold, as if unsure she should even have spoken or made an appearance.
“Then I will be the one to suffer the consequences. After all, I am the seamstress. Not you,” Magda answered simply.
“But I was the one who said to make the dress a different color. Why should you be punished?”
“Because I was the one who listened to you rather than your mother. There is a hierarchy in this castle and, unfortunately, you and your sisters are not the Countess. She has final say, which I ignored. But really, I doubt there will be a problem.” At least, she hoped there wouldn’t be a problem.
“Blue isn’t yellow! That is a problem!” Cassandra snarled in a sudden outburst. Magda responded with a sigh and a gentle look towards the brunette.
“No, it isn’t. But they are complimentary colors. Just like red and green. They are opposites, and they work well together. Frankly, I agree that neither yellow or gold would suit you. It would have given you an additional harshness which would have done nothing for you. But had I said anything to that extreme towards your mother, I’d likely be currently in a barrel. So, instead? Your… apprehension gave me a way out, and I went with blue. It is a color that conveys wisdom, peace, and patience… among other things. Your mother expects you to behave one way; the independent daughter, the mighty hunter, the stalwart warrior. So, why not surprise her with a different Cassandra?”
“All sweetness and light?”
“I never said that. But, instead of being the sharp stiletto that stabs everything, how about pretending to be the soft, velvet lined box that holds it?” Magda asked with a simple shrug. “Same thing on the inside, but a different exterior.”
Cassandra stared at the mortal for a long, drawn-out moment, thinking many things. Some were logical, others were violent, and some that would only make sense to the middle child of Countess Alcina Dimitrescu. But nothing really prepared Magda for the words that came out of her mouth next.
“You’re doing my hair and make-up to match my dress and your idea. If you’re going to change something, why not go all the way, little tailor?”
~~~~~~~
A few evenings later, the seamstress stood in a side doorway of the Main Hall, watching the decorating of the immense tree alongside a rotating number of maids who paused in their chores to take in the tableau. Daniela sat on the floor, her velvet gown pooling about her as she held a large bag of ornaments in her lap, while a garland of tinsel draped over her shoulders and around her arms.
She must not have been able to find the Santa hat, so the tinsel had to do.
Beside her, Bela acted in a nonchalant and innocent manner, giving no indication as to the fate of the poor little hat. She demurely taking each bauble that was handed to her and examining it as if it were some long lost treasure worth more than the glass it was crafted from. Bedecked in her rose colored dress, she looked practically angelic.
The blonde girl would then hand the chosen bauble to her mother, whose figure towered even more so than normal, due to the fact that she stood on what had to have been the most sturdy chair in the entire village, in order to reach the highest point on the gargantuan tree that was already festooned with lights and color. The scarlet wrap still trailed on the floor despite the added height of its owner, but it framed the Countess and her gown beautiful, to the point that the seamstress wondered just exactly how she would outdo herself next year.
The was a soft sound from the staircase, and Magda looked up to spy Cassandra descending, hiding something behind her back. The girl look almost human and innocent, what with the clean face devoid of blood, the softening make-up, and a hair style that painted her in a completely different light. Gentle innocence, perhaps?
Daniela was the first to notice, pointing at her older sister with a wry little smile, as if to say ‘you’re not matching, you’re in trouble’. Whether or not she was, Magda knew it was time to take her leave when she noticed two things. One was the manner in which the Countess’ eye slid from her precise decorating work to Cassandra’s unexpected appearance and then to the seamstress lingering in the doorway. It wasn’t anger, but rather assessing or appraising… with just the slightest hint of displeasure from having her orders ignored. The look from the woman’s golden eyes would have been enough to send anyone away, even if the second item of notice was the present Cassandra held behind her back.
Despite being gift wrapped, the gift was still decidedly head shaped.
Well, I could only do so much, Magda thought as she gave the Countess a slight bow and took her leave.
It was hours later, well after the quartet had finished decorating and exchanging their own presents, that Magda heard the telltale sound of heavy footsteps approaching. The staff would celebrate their own festivities with the family tomorrow, so it wasn’t as if she was being sought out to join in on the frivolities.
Magda had expected there to be comments made, which was why she was still dressed and idly puttering around her workspace.
She simply had no idea what the comments would be about.
A knock at the door, followed by it opening and the sound of shifting fabric marked the Countess’ entrance.
“Magdalena.” The slight, balanced edge to that single word was also expected, to which the seamstress quietly stood and politely nodded her head in greeting, hands clasped behind her back. “I thought I had been clear in my instructions regarding these gifts. No alterations. And yet, tonight, I saw one rather glaring change. My middle child in blue. I would have thought she had forced your hand, ruining what you had originally sewn, but now I see the golden fabric tucked away on your shelf, seemingly untouched. Changing tones and shades or altering cuts is one thing. But this?” Alcina’s anger was barely hidden by her elegant words.
“Cassandra requested I use a different color, Countess,” Magda explained, her gaze held downward, afraid to look her in the eye.
“And you obeyed her rather than myself? Do you have any idea what you have done?” A thin slice of worry turned to fear inside Magda as Alcina approached her with calculated, measured steps.
“I am sorry, Countess,” she replied softly, waiting to be struck, either by the hand or the claws.
In the end, it was neither.
“She looked like how she was when she first arrived.” The anger in Alcina’s voice was gone, and the words came out unexpectedly soft. Surprised, Magda looked up to find a mix of sadness, longing, and gratefulness in those strange eyes. “I thought I had lost that when she was reborn. I had expected to have the same young woman who was brought before me; quiet and gentle, crying and begging to be sent home, promising much and pleading even more. She needed a mother, and I thought I could provide that to her.” A shuddering exhale escaped her lips in a brief moment of vulnerability. “Instead, I was gifted Cassandra… someone who is more like myself than I would care to admit.”
Magda simply stood there; unsure about how to take in this information. She had been vaguely aware of how the trio had come about, through rumors and tidbits of information, but this was news of a different sort. Of course, she wouldn’t breathe a word of this outside these four walls, but even so… she had never heard Alcina be so changed. So motherly.
“I’ve seen that girl… that first girl… on occasion. It’s rare, but tonight? She was there. Both her and Cassandra.”
“So, you are pleased?” Magda asked hesitantly.
“It was a gift I never thought to enjoy again, and likely will never be able to replicate. Blue was the right decision, Magda. Thank you.” The last words were a whisper as that softness faded away. “But, in the future? Should you or my daughters wish to change my ideas or machinations? Don’t. Not behind my back. Come to me if they try such tactics again. Your work is excellent, as always, but do not test my ability to forgive disobedience. I doubt such a miracle will happen twice.”
“Of course, Countess. Thank you for the compliment.” A simple bow from the seamstress signaled the end of the conversation. Evening pleasantries were exchanged, and once the Countess had exited down the hall, only then did Magda relax and let go of the tension she held. Perhaps a nightcap was in order to calm whatever nerves she still had before settling down for the proverbial ‘long winter’s nap’.
At least now Magda had a year to recover.
One of my favorite Bela x OC comfort moments in my fic
"What happened to her?" Bela interrupted, slowly advancing on the two.
"W-we found her out in the courtyard. She wasn't responding to us no matter what we said, and she was hardly dressed for the cold out there. We're trying to see if she's okay now-"
"Leave. I'll handle the rest from here. Unless you're both volunteering to be sliced open." The blonde vampire said.
Both of the maids immediately understood her intentions and they quickly scuttled off. This left the two of them alone in the main hall. Bela redirected her attention back down to the subtly trembling girl. Jordan's eyes were unfocused, and even if they were open, it was obvious that she wasn't really seeing anything. From the looks of it, she was completely lost in her own head.
'Hm. You know what to do, Bela. It's just like with Daniela. Although I don't know how well she'll react.' She thought to herself.
Bela slowly moved forward and sat herself down right next to the girl. Of course, Jordan didn't react at all, and continued staring blankly ahead with her dull blue eyes. The vampire could easily see the resemblances between Jordan's current state of dissociation, and Daniela's usual sudden cases. The only difference was that with Daniela, she got incredibly violent with people who got too close to her in that moment. She would only allow her or their mother near during such times.
"Hey, Jordan. Can you hear me, cutie? You seem like you're somewhere else right now. Do you know where you are?" Bela asked, trying to look over the girls face.
Of course, there was no response. So, with the full knowledge that she couldn't get harmed if something went wrong, Bela reached out with one hand and placed it over one of Jordan's own hands that had a death grip on her leg. Once the touch was felt, Jordan flinched, but her grip relaxed and fell slightly. There was a noticeable turn of the brunettes head, but that was the extent of the reactions that were given.
"Your hands are ice cold, Jordan. And it's really saying something if I can feel that." The vampire teased softly.
She tightened her grip on Jordan's hand, and was surprised when she felt the subtle squeeze back. Looking over Jordan's face again, Bela noticed that the girl was looking up at her now. It was obvious that she wasn't entirely aware that she was staring at her. But still, it was progress. If she could get this girl to focus completely on her instead, then there was a good chance that she could break her out of her dissociative state.
"Eyes on me, Jordan. Let me be your main focus right now. Don't look at anything else but me." She said, voice but alluring and comforting.
The girl continued to stare towards her, and Bela noticed that after a few minutes, Jordan's eyes were starting to move a bit more. The light was slowly returning to them. Their hands were still locked together, even now as the girl started to regain some of her coherency. She still wasn't fully there and it was obvious due to the lack of reactions to the fact that Bela was even in front of her in the first place.
"Are you having fun playing with her, sister? Or are you just waiting for her to be awake so that you can dig your fangs into her neck?" Cassandra suddenly said, appearing behind the couch.
"How many times are you going to accuse me of things before you realize that I'm not trying to get under her skin yet. Unlike you and Daniela, I actually find her to be much more amusing when I don't have the thoughts of killing her in my head." Bela responded, glaring at the other.
Cassandra rolled her eyes and moved forward in a way that made Bela immediately suspicious. She knew her sister was one to mess around in ways that were easily inconvenient for everyone involved, and she turned out to be right. In the most childish way that was seemingly possible, Cassandra reached out with one finger and traced it down Jordan's spine, through the blanket. The reaction was immediate, and it was one that neither of them expected.
Jordan literally whimpered, and fear took over her face in an instant. But instead of pulling away from either of them, she moved forward and trapped Bela in a tight hug. Their hands had separated but since the girl was literally clinging to her with her face buried in her neck, she couldn't even think. Both her and Cassandra were frozen, but the subtle smirk on Cassandra's face is what brought her back to reality. She glared at her sister, daring her to say something.
Platonic Lady Dimitrescu x ftm reader
Summery:One of the new maids refuses to wear the maid uniform, Lady D thinks he’s trying to be rude but really he’s just dysphoric about it.
Word Count:599
Warnings:getting accidentally misgendered once
(A/n this might be kinda shit cause it was just a random thing I started daydreaming about. Hope you enjoy tho.)
“You have to wear one"
“I’d rather take my chances with those wolf things outside.”
She rubbed her face. You were recently brought to Castle Dimitrescu to be a maid, the woman you were talking to was trying to teach you what to do.
“You have to wear it otherwise the ladies will turn you into wine.”
“Like blood as wine or blood mixed with wine?”
“Mixed with wine to my knowledge.”
“Hannibal Lector eat your heart out.”
She started laughing at my pun.
“I’m glad you caught that, I was proud of that one.” You smirked
“Yeah that was a good one.” She chuckled.
“But back on topic you need to wear that, I was being serious about the being turned into wine thing.”
You just shrugged. “Can I not just wear this.” You gestured to your current outfit, she just sighed.
“If you die its not my fault.”
“Ok.”
The woman, who you learned was named Angela, was showing you around and telling you what you’d be doing when your tour got interrupted.
You hear a woman clear her throat behind you, and when you turned around it was the 9 foot tall ruler of the castle.
“Ah! Lady Dimitrescu.” Angela bowed, pushing you to do the same.
“You" the lady said looking at you. “what is your name?”
“Y/n.”
She just looked at you before turning to Angela. “Why isn’t she wearing a uniform?”
You could see how nervous she was so you answered. “It’s not her fault. She tried to get me to wear it for like, 10, 15, minutes, but I refused to.”
The lady just stared at you, glaring slightly. “My office, now.”
Angela gave you a sympathetic look as you followed Lady Dimitrescu.
When you arrived at the lady’s office she told you to sit and she sat behind her desk.
“So why won’t you wear your uniform? I can only see it as a move of disrespect.” She asked you.
“No, it’s nothing to do with you at all.”
She raised an eyebrow before leaning back I’m her chair. “Than please, explain yourself. Quickly.”
Well either you tell her the truth and maybe die anyway or don’t and definitely die, you had the feeling she’d see right through any lie you tried to tell. “Welp, here we go" you thought.
“So basically, um-"
“Out with it.” She said clearly losing patience.
“I’m trans.”
You could practically hear the record scratch in her head. She sat forward again, arms on the desk.
“What?”
“Ya know, like transgender? Like I’m a trans guy?”
She thought for a moment. “So you didn’t want to wear a dress because it would cause you gender dysphoria, correct?”
Your eyebrows shot to your hairline. You, didn’t expect that.
“Uh y-yeah.”
She chuckled. “I may be old but I still know things.” She paused. “Hm, usually we wouldn’t allow a manthing to work here but we can make an exception here.”
“Wait really? Like you’re not gonna turn me into wine?”
She laughed. “No we're not. Here in house Dimitrescu we support lgbtq people, in fact at least half of those working here are lgbtq. Me and my daughters included.”
“Really?”
She nodded smiling. “Yes. I’m a lesbian, my daughter Daniela is pan, Cassandra is bi, and Bela, well she’s not sure exactly but she’s definitely not straight.”
You laughed. “Man us lgbtq folk really do gravitate to each other.”
She chuckled as well. “Yes it seems we do. I’ll contact Donna about getting a suit for you.”
“Thank you.”
“Of course.”
“How are you alive?!” Angela exclaimed.
Dark yellow eyes locked onto lighter yellow ones as the woman glared at her capture. Said capture was grinning back at her revealing her freshly bloodstain teeth, most likely from a meal she had. Resting in her right hand was her sickle that was dripping with blood, thankfully not hers…yet.
“Leaving so soon, kitty?” The brunette asks feigning sadness. She was trying to egg her, get under her skin as usual.
Ever since she was brought to this damn castle the brunette was always taunting her. Always behind the corner waiting. Like a predator stalking its prey. Gritting her teeth Kayla narrows her eyes at the woman. She will not show her that she was getting to her.
“I am going to bed.” She says forcing out a calm tone.
Tsking Cassandra slowly circles the woman as she counters with following her. Didn’t want to expose her back to the fly infested woman.
“It’s so early though, and I’m very bored.” She drawls toying with her sickle absently.
“Then why don’t you go find your sisters to pester?” Kayla challenges not caring to come off feeble like originally.
A smirk appears on her face as Cassandra turns to look over at her. The hood concealing half of her face, “Because you’re far more interesting than them. It’s not everyday we see someone of your kind.”
Narrowing her eyes further she couldn’t help a low growl escaping her throat. “The fuck does that mean? ‘My kind’?”
A chuckle escapes from her as Cassandra continues to circle, “You have a hot temper, I like that. Much more better than those docile maids.” She says stopping in front of her. “We only have lycans here, that’s the closest I’ve seen to a half human half beast. But you-“ another step closer another step backwards, “You look like a normal human being, but we both know you’re far from it. And unlike the lycans you can control yourself.” Cassandra taps the tip of her sickle on her chin as if in deep thought. “How interesting.”
“I’ve hunted every beast known to man, but you’ll be the first lion. Shall I skin you and use your coat as a rug or mount your head on a wall?” She asks causing Kayla’s senses to heighten. She was all by herself in the hallway of the castle, too far away for Y/N or Avery to hear her, let alone reach her in time. She was nervous but wasn’t afraid. Looking up at the taller woman she glared at her with pure hatred.
“I won’t go down without a fight, I’ll warn you now.” She growls out, a much more animalistic tone than her previous voice.
Her only response was a wider grin as the brunette cackles. “Oh I was hoping you’d say that.” Her eyes landed on Kayla’s arms as she hums, “Looks like you’re already shifting. What’s the matter, kitten? Got you all worked up?” She teased. Bringing her arms up she noticed that her dark skin was sprouting tan fur, her nails getting longer and darker by the minute. She had to get out of this situation, she didn’t trust herself to shift and allowing her more primal instincts to kick in.
“Get away from me, you witch.” She snarls taking another step back.
“Witch? You have a lot of nerve when you’re-“ She was interrupted when another set of buzzing could be heard and another hooded figure form.
“Cassandra it’s Daniela and yours turn to clean the dungeon.” The sharp voice of the eldest daughter was heard as she looks between her sister and Kayla, a look of disapproval evident.
“Mother said that they are not to be harmed, Cassandra. They are our guests.” She folds her arms.
Groaning Cassandra rolls her golden eyes at her sister’s meddling. “Of course you would come and ruin a beautiful moment.” She says sarcastically as she looks at Bela. “I wasn’t going to hurt her. I just wanted to talk to her. It’s not everyday we have predators disguised as humans.” She casts a glance back at Kayla as she tries to calm herself down. While she didn’t trust either of the sisters she at least was happy that it was the oldest that put a stop to whatever was going to happen.
“Of course you wasn’t. That’s why she looks ready to defend herself, hm?” Bela looks at Kayla with a sort of an apologetic look. “Now come on, Daniela is already down there. You both should be done by dinner.”
Scoffing Cassandra turns but stops as she casts one last look at Kayla. “We aren’t finished with our little chat, kitten. I’ll see you after dinner.” With a wink she morphs into her swarm with her sister leaving Kayla alone.
(I needed to find a way out of my writers block so I wrote an oneshot from Within her claws)
A cat
Listen, one day there was the pitter patter of little toe beans on the dungeons stone as Daniela was prowling them.
She looked behind her to find golden yellow eyes, much the same colour as her mother's, looking back at her. The tiny hand sized creature mad wits way from the shadows and into the light of a torch and Daniela took oneook at it before immediately falling in love with the kitten.
She flew over in her fly swarm and knelt infront of the little thing with a grin and her palm out towards it. As soon as the creature happily nosed her hand before rubbing its face against it, the kitten was in Daniela's arms.
As she was coming out of the dungeon she ran into the head of staff who was on her way down into the dungeons, she's the only member of castle staff allowed down there, to check on stock.
As soon as those yellow eyes saw the head of staff they lit up and the cat was soon out of Daniela's arms and into the poor woman's.
Daniela: what!?
Head of staff: *confused* I'm... Not quite certain why it did that either, miss
Daniela: well obviously there's a reason, you got something it likes haven't you
Head of staff: why would I? I despise cats, I must prefer reptiles
Daniela: give me the cat!
Head of staff: *She handed it back over with a huff as the cat fur was brushed off of her vest and trousers by irritated hands* should I ask where-?
Daniela: no! *flys off*
After the kitten being brought to the lady's attention and it being brought back to full health the girls go to beg their mother to let them keep it as she has already refused.
Bela: mother, look at it. How can you refuse that face?
Alcina: like this. *looks kitten directly in the eyes* no
Daniela: mother, you are being cruel and unjust
Alcina: *chuckles* this is new information for you?
Cassnadra: *picks up kitten and brings it closer to Alcina* just pet it, you'll see what we mean. It's got the softest fur
Alcina: darling, if I try to pet it I will crush it
Bela: she has a point Cass
Daniela: yeah well-
Head of staff: my lady, o do apologise for interrupting but Mother Mirah- *feels the kitten rubbing against her legs*
Alcina: Mother Miranda?
Head of staff: yes, Mother Miranda has stated that- *kitten leans up and starts digging claws into her leg*
Alcina: *holding back a chuckle* yes?
Daughters: ¯-¯ °.° °`~ʼ°
Head of staff: she has stated that you will need to- *cut off by a meow from the kitten at her feet*
Head of staff: she has stated that you will need to *cut off by another meow*
Head of staff: SheHasStatedThatYouWillNeedTo *gets cut off again*
Head of staff: what!? *it meows and so she reluctantly leans down so it can jump into her arms again*
Head of staff: as I was saying *starts absentmindedly stoking the kitten* mother Miranda has stated that you will need to attend a meeting in two days with the other Lords at the regular time
Alcina: *leaning head on arm as its against the arm the chair that she's sat on as she watches the bugrudged bonding between the two* thank you, dear. Do you like cats.
Head of staff: no, I despise them
Alcina: and yet... That one in particular enjoys your company
Head of staff: for whatever reason it does, yes
Alcina: my daughters wish to keep the pet but I fear their fighting and hatred of keeping still will hinder their ability to care for such a small and defenceless creature. However, if you are willing of course, I would not be against them keeping it as long as you are it's primary caretaker
Head of staff: my lady, I feel as if... *looks at girls*
Girls: mouthing the word please with their hands together infront of them*
Head of staff: *sighs with a small smile* I feel as if I am up to the task, my lady
Alcina: wonderful, daughters, go and collect the cats bed and toys from wherever you have left them and place them in our dear head of staff's room
Girls: *buzz away in excitement*
Alcina: *turns to find the head of staff playing with the kitten by dangling her fingers infront of its face as it tried to attack with its miniature claws* dear, I must say, you make cat fur coverfed clothes look fashionable
Head of staff: what does it matter? I know that you cannot wait to get them off
Alcina: *chuckles before leaning over and kissing her cheek*
Head of staff: one last thing, Alcina, did you know that Irene is allergic to cats?
Alcina: *staring at head of staff as she walks away* and yet you let them keep it
Head of staff: what can I say? I would give those fly gremlins the world if I could, now, Nyx and I will be heading up to bed. Goodnight, my dear
Alcina: goodnight, my love
Your tag under this post here so true. Also the post itself. I'm always having a blast when everyone is joined in the craziness, but at the same time I'm always exhausted afterwards 😆
lmao yes so true, it is chaotic in the best way hfdhhsf but i finally have time to freak out some more after being a "responsible adult" all day......
it's been a while since i have done a compilation like this but i dont wanna clog the dash and it's all about the same thing so here we goooo
Jensen did everything in his power to stomp the J*2 narrative into dust this weekend. Love that journey for him!
listen, i am not one to be petty (lol okay sometimes i am, ngl) but.... the difference was SO stark this time, it has to be said
I was obviously hoping for some good cockles content this con, but this has exceeded everything I could have thought of lol. Amazing.
my expectations were pretty managed after we got interrupted so early last time, but this indeed exeeded everything!!
Gonna have a difficult week... And difficult four months until I leave work... But I'm so hyped but today's Cockles nothing's gonna stop me - tea anon
i'm sorry you are gonna face some hard times <3 you know i am here when you want to talk! thankfully jenmish gave us enough seretonin for a life time hdgfhdg
First we get Mish. Dee. Now we have Jensen, Danneel and their boyfriend Misha. Truly could not have predicted them being *that* unhinged but I do love to see it! Going to need about 10 business days to process it all though lmaoooo - Honeymoon Anon
you and me both!!
The thing is, there is absolutely no reason for them to act like that, none. like, can you imagine jensen making that kind of jokes toward jp lmaoooo he'd rather unalive himself💀 but then again, misha is his close friend so , what's the difference hmmm🫠 they are driving me insane Rose
*kermit nodding gif* yeah..... it is a lot lmfaooo
“tell jensen i mentioned him first”
twitter.com/misskittybsdc/status/1630013886844764160?s=46&t=oQYacDuBE2cwV9RJV-7UJg
they wanna score points with the big boss ghdhgh
Rose it's 5 am and I haven't slept yet and I am so not normal about this. I have been around a lot of JIBs so I knew what was coming. Yet, I still am so overwhelmed by everything that happened. I have watched the cockles panel twice by now. Some scenes I have definitely watched more than 20 times. I have perceived more and more details every time I rewind. Jensen Ackles butt wiggling. Him winking at Misha. That weird expression on his face when he made a wish. The movement of chairs, which is, of course - as it always is every JIB - closer together. The weird non-improvisation of the improvisation. Daniela coming in with the CW sniper in the form of a birthday cake to stop Jensen coming out as Misha Collins' boyfriend. Not to mention all the other big things that happened. Canary? Kissing Misha? When in Rome??? The preparation of Misha's 50th birthday party. Misha and Jensen playing an European puppet show with Misha shouting "Dieter I love you! Kiss me Dieter". Rose. Jensen said Misha is Danneel's boyfriend. Jensen said Misha is his boyfriend. The underbear and straddlegate have walked so that this Jibcon panel could run. How am I supposed to sleep? I am not even attending a convetion yet the convention high is keeping me restless. I feel like I need a continuation. Like this was a series finale with a cliffhanger that needs to be resolved. Like there are things that need to come up so this can settle. I have been a cockles perceiver since years yet my patience is limited right now. I mean if I wait a day or two I know it will wear of. It always does. But the boyfriend will stay. Right here with us.
- anon anon (you know who I am)
ahhhhh i totally feel you!! i had to physically make myself go to bed last night because i had to get up early, but it took a LOT to finally go to bed and i slept poorly ngl hfgdhhg i hope you did manage to get some sleep though!! and oof. what a year yesterday was!!!
Also @ all the other anons, I remember you guys, too!!! ♥️ I don't know if you remember me though haha
- anon anon
"No."
"But like, are you?"
"I'm not gonna answer."
Bela stepped into the library, watching Daniela pester the family pet. "Dani, what is--"
"She's being difficult, Bela!" Daniela sighed from where she sat facing her lover on the couch.
"I'm not."
"I'm sure you aren't, darling. Daniela, what is your que--"
"Is she an alpha?"
Bela paused.
The she-wolf eyed her blonde lover with a raised brow.
"...are you?" Bela asked.
The woman grumbled, looking away from the two. "You too?"
"It is a valid question, little one. Given you are a wolf--"
"I don't have a traditional pack though--"
"We're your pack." Daniela helpfully supplied.
"That's not how it works--" The werewolf sighed. "Dani, you've been reading way too much erotica--"
"I just want to know if you get one of those or not!"
Bela went a deep shade of red. "Dani!"
Daniela huffed. "...the sex would be amazing."
The werewolf grumbled.
"... the sex would be amazing."
Oh my god, Daniela. Reading too much A/B/O erotica.
I mean she's right! It totally would be amazing sex... if the woof was an alpha in a rut, you know (and if the story had A/B/O dynamics). I'm afraid she would, in fact, not be an Alpha, though. She's way too submissive.
Honestly, though, they should have just asked Cassandra. If one of them could figure out of the woof is an Alpha then it's her.
... 👀 you know what, have a little... something.
“She’s not,” Cassandra commented dryly from the other side of the room. She had been there the entire time, seated at a table and absorbed in a book containing sheet music, which she was copying while leaving little comments in the margins of the paper. “An alpha, I mean.”
Daniela’s head turned, peering over her shoulder at the middle child.
“And how would you know?” she asked, one eyebrow raised and her arm drawing the werewolf closer and lifting her hand to comb through the red strands of hair. Her nails scratched over the scalp, sending a shudder down her pet’s back and a little groan to spill from her lips.
“An alpha would not present herself face down on her knees and beg me to breed her,” the huntress continued without so much as bothering to look up from her notes. But her lips pulled into a shit-eating grin, regardless, quite visible even from across the room.
The werewolf groaned, covering her face with her hands in shame as she felt a rush of heat to her cheeks. Of course Cassandra would betray her. Why was she not surprised?
Daniela’s petting came to a slow stop, her fingers slowly trailing down the nape of the werewolf’s neck, where they hooked in the collar and pulled, forcing her pet to lean back and meet her gaze. Daniela’s expression was unreadable and the werewolf swallowed hard, not sure what to expect.
“Puppy?” she asked, slightly tilting her head. “Why didn’t you just say so?”
“Because-” the werewolf paused, eyes darting from Daniela to Bela, who was leaning against a bookshelf now, arms crossed over her chest and a curious eyebrow raised as she watched events unfold. “It’s embarrassing?”
“Is it?” the blonde asked. “Why?”
“B-because it’s not a werewolf thing!” the pet whined.
“What does that-” Daniela questioned, only to be interrupted by Bela.
“It’s the human in her that gets turned on by it.”
“Oh. … oh,” Daniela gasped in realization, shifting her focus back onto her pet, who was staring up at her, eyes wide and biting her lip. “Well, now, puppy. You should have just told me.”
She reached for the werewolf’s face, two fingers caressing the smaller woman’s jawline from the ear to the chin, in the ghost of a touch, just slow enough to not be considered innocent any more. Daniela tilted her face up.
The atmosphere had changed, suddenly loaded, the tension palpable… the sexual tension.
Bela cleared her throat, pushing away from the bookshelf to head for the door.
“Cassandra,” she called and the huntress looked up from her notes, nose scrunched in disapproval.
“I’m busy.”
“Cassandra,” Bela said again, more firmly, more serious. The brunette looked from her notes to the werewolf and Daniela, then back to Bela and tilted her head questioningly.
“What? You think it’ll bother me if they have a go at it right there on the sofa? I can tune the noise out… and if I can’t, I could always join them…” she purred, her voice dipping just a little bit deeper towards the end, a little bit rougher.
The werewolf shuddered, daring to cast a glance at the huntress who meet her gaze unafraid, a mischievous glow in her golden eyes.
“… really?” Bela sighed, exasperated.
Cassandra chuckled, pushing back and getting up from her seat. She crossed the room for the door – but not without making a stop by the sofa and reaching over to ruffle the werewolf’s hair and grab a fistful of it, tilting her head back.
“Try the most filthy dirty talk you could come up with, Daniela. She loves it,” the huntress whispered towards her sister, without taking her eyes off the werewolf, whose pupils widened immediately as the mere mental image sent a rush of heat down into her nether regions.
Then, without another word, Cassandra pulled away.
Before leaving the library with Bela, she threw the werewolf a last look over her shoulder, accompanied by a smug grin.
The door fell shut.
“Girls, I have a question for you.”
“Of course, Mother! What is it?”
Alcina looked over her daughters for a moment, all lined up in front of her, eager for whatever  she deemed important enough to call them for. She had to admit, she felt silly pulling them in to discuss something as mundane as personal relations. “How does one tell when they… admire someone? Romantically.”
The three women looked at one another quizzically, then back at their mother, as if deciding if that was a real question or not. Bela, who was normally very quick to answer any question, stayed silent, fidgeting with the sleeves of her dress. Cassandra shifted on her feet. Alcina didn’t miss the hint of pink tinting the middle daughter’s cheeks.
“Well, in my experience, they usually make you really giddy.” Daniela answered. “You know, you’re happy to see them all the time. And you get this warm feeling inside when they’re around. They’re the highlight of your day and all that.”
Her sisters both gave soft “Oh…”s as Daniela’s explanation, while Alcina mulled over her youngest's answer.
Only to get her thoughts immediately interrupted. “Wait! Mama, are you in love?!”
Alcina, taken aback by the question, looked owlish for a moment. “Well, I…” She cleared her throat, all three girls staring at her, waiting for her answer. The mother inhaled, her face suddenly becoming hot. “...I may have… taken a liking to someone.” She admitted quietly.
Her daughters all seemed to have vastly different reactions to the news. Bela pursed her lips, looking indifferent to it. She still said nothing, though, trying to give a supportive smile that mostly came across as awkward. Cassandra simply seemed surprised, and Alcina could see the gears turning in her head. The brunette eventually went wide eyed, then gave her mother a knowing smirk. Alcina had no time to think on that, however, because Daniela, arguably the most excited at the news, suddenly took her by the hand, a huge grin across her face.
“Mama, that’s wonderful!” The youngest bounced, and Alcina couldn’t help but smile. “Who is it?!”
“Oh, I don’t know if-”
“Isn’t it obvious?” Cassandra snickered. “Mother likes that maid with the baby.”
Daniela audibly gasped. “You like Mia?!”
Alcina inhaled like she was going to deny the accusation, but Cassandra wasn’t wrong. Mia had somehow wormed her way into Alcina’s heart. What had started out as Alcina keeping the maid around simply to make sure no harm was done to the child had turned into Alcina actually wanting Mia around. The woman was almost pleasant to be around now that she’d become a little more comfortable, she was even funny. Their conversations, while mundane, were becoming the highlight of her day. Alcina hadn’t felt this strongly about a woman in quite a while, especially not one of her staff.
Looking back at her daughters, she gave a slight nod. “Yes, I believe I may… like Miss Winters.”
“Really?” Bela wrinkled her nose, speaking for the first time in the conversation. “Her? Why?”
Everyone looked to the eldest. “...I’m not sure.” Alcina admitted. “She’s full of interesting facts, much smarter than she looks. She’s very kind and very clearly cares for her daughter. I just think she’s very admirable. You seem to get along just fine with her when you two talk about sciences.”
“But she’s-” Bela cut herself off. “...She doesn’t seem like your type. That’s all.”
Alcina shook her head. “I wouldn’t say I have much of a type, darling. She’s kind, she makes me happy, what else do I need?”
“Nothing, mother, I’m just-”
“Bela’s just jealous because nobody likes her.” Cassandra teased, poking the eldest in the side. Daniela giggled along with her sister as Bela swatted Cassandra’s hand away.
“Fine, forget I said anything.” The blonde mumbled.
Daniela looked back up at her mother. “Are you going to tell her?”
Alcina’s face suddenly got hot. She hadn’t considered the fact she may actually need to confess her feelings. She was used to it being the other way around. “I… supposed I should….” She mulled over the idea. “But, perhaps it’s better to test the waters, so to speak? I’ll give her hints as to how I feel and see how she responds to them.”
All three of her daughters shared a look.
“Mama, I think you overestimate how smart Mia is with context clues….” Daniela warned.
“Nonsense, I’ll make it obvious for her.” Alcina waved a hand, dismissing the youngest’s statement. “I appreciate this talk, girls. You may return to your activities.”
Begrudgingly, the three left their mother to think of some form of plan. They continued to share wary looks once outside the closed door, until Cassandra suddenly laughed.
“This is going to be a goddamned dumpster fire.”
