the Gabriel/Loki episode of the winchesters was good though. That one can stay.

#I mean. I’d remove John & Samuel from the equation.#John because. this ain’t about him.#Samuel because I think he should have stayed gone the whole first season. I like it when absent fathers haunt the narrative #(although to be fair to him he’s not absent by choice. loser got himself kidnapped.)#but yeah anyway. same episode. except it’s just Mary Carlos and Latika taking him on #and also it *is* Gabriel. unequivocally.#Gabriel & Carlos parallels my beloved #something about Carlos leaving the band. leaving them behind. to go be a hunter #that should have been what stung Gabriel the wrong way #and making Carlos choose between his friends. forcing him to choose. rather than allowing him to run again.#sure Gabriel’s whole schtick is punishing other people but if mystery spot taught us anything #it’s that he’ll also punish himself THROUGH another person’s suffering. and Carlos is. a little too similar. so into the torment pile he go #no Gabriel iPad though. stake through the heart. wielded by Latika btw #who in my head is the Raphael parallel of the gang. not that it matters that much. but it does. to me.#(Raphael parallel because. everyone forgot she was also there. and just as capable of stabbing as the rest of them.)#sorry I’m rambling about some hypothetical good version of the winchesters I haven’t had enough sleep

You know, there's plenty to complain about wasted potential in characters, wasted story lines and the like but my biggest, hugest gripe with this show (beyond the homophobia but that's a different topic) is how much they wasted every archangel that wasn't Lucifer. And even Lucifer got absolutely butchered in season 15!

We met Raphael for so little that I can even think about what could have been done differently with him. Probably seeing more of the civil war in heaven would have helped both Raphael to feel more like an actual character instead of a figure stick placed to be Castiel's antagonist and Cas himself to not look like the asshole the writers tried to make him look like in s6

Gabriel was an amazing character that, like mostly everyone that wasn't Sam and Dean, deserved way more screen time that he got. But even with what we had, bringing him back in s13 to do absolutely nothing more than make Lucifer cry once and then killing him again was an absolute disservice to the archangel that died in the apocalypse facing his brother for the right reasons. He could have stuck around and if they really didn't want to have the power of an archangel on the side of the good guys then keep him depowered and let him process his trauma instead of healing in like 2 seconds

Michael... where do I even begin with Michael? The most powerful archangel, our Dean parallel in the celestial family, the obedient soldier that was still the nicest he could be to his vessels and I don't think he even had half an hour total of screen time. And let's be clear, I am not counting Apocalypse Michael here, this is about our world Michael, OG Michael. For starters we should have seen way more of him than we did. From season 11 onwards there were so many occasions in which the boys could have at least tried to talk to him AND THEY COULD DO IT but they never even tried. I do however love what they did with him and Adam when they finally left the cage, although I would have been the first one cheering them on if they went for revenge I think what they did makes clear just how different and not actually evil was Michael. I hate that even in the season where we know they are out there we barely see him, I would have loved to see more of his conflict about what his father did, seeing him grieve Adam (friendly or romantic, whatever is good for me at this point) and... well, here comes the biggest bad thing they did to him, I would have loved to see him stand up to his father, Michael deserved to do that, he was one of the angels who got most deeply screwed over by Chuck and he deserved to punch him in the face

And while in that topic... Lucifer. Lucifer was the archangel with the best arc, he was a great villain and the fact that the Mark was what made him like is in the first place made him actually sympathetic, when he told Michael he didn't want to fight him, the whole thing with Chuck I'm season 11 and then he realizing he had been played by his father in season 12 and wanting to prove he could do better was great. I loved what looked like a redemption arc for him because besides Michael, he also got incredibly screwed by their father. I hated that he turned on Jack like he did, I wish that whatever confrontation needed to happen at the end of season 13 would have been more out of being scared of AU!Michael and wanting to protect Jack even if he had to do it forcefully. The fact that Nick was somehow alive after his death was strange as fuck and I wish they had explained how exactly after he looked dead in S5 but regardless, the fact that he wanted Lucifer back I think says something about how he interacts with his vessels (when said vessel doesn't drag him back to his cage, I guess, sorry Sam, I love you). But biggest sin against him was how he went right back to Chuck like a dumbass in s15. S12 Lucifer, my beloved, he would never. He deserved to punch Chuck as much as Michael, I wish they had teamed up and punched Chuck together. Bet two archangels fighting god would have charged up Jack faster and would not have been as ridiculous as two humans being beaten up by god and being just mildly hurt at the end, they could still stand...

Anyway, the archangels deserved better, thanks for coming to my tedtalk

Dean cleared his throat and adjusted his tie and tallit as he let his eyes wander to the people attending his and Gadreel’s wedding. With the corner of his eye, he could see Ree was doing the same. Their families were sitting mixed together in the beautiful garden Ree had picked – it was a small wedding anyway, and neither Dean nor Gadreel cared for dividing them when the two of them were getting united. In the first row, Dean could see Sam and Adam, his younger brothers. Eileen, Sam’s girlfriend, was sitting next to him. Dean and Ree had offered to hire an interpreter, but she had told them Sam would help her, if necessary. Next to them sat Gadreel’s older siblings, Raphael, Gabriel, and Lucifer, and the younger, Castiel. The oldest, Michael, had offered to officiate the wedding and was preparing the wine next to Ree. For some reason, Gadreel’s father, Chuck, had come as well. He was strangely sober, and was sending Gadreel a small smile

An experimenter and craftsman at heart, Yahweh is a rambunctious and legendary immortal being. He deeply enjoys creating unique objects and buildings, particularly those made of marble, or perhaps stone. He also loves to run experiments, and inject His own ideas into them to see what happens.

As the Man Upstairs, Yahweh has a very large following of high- and low-ranking angels, those among them being Gabriel, Michael, The Council, Gamaliel, Raphael, and many more - chief among them being His son, Jesus H. Christ. He is admired across the universe of His own creation, and yet has managed to keep His ego in check.

The tome He wields, the Bible, is used to invigorate and inspire hope within those who may not be up to their best standards, or may need a boost in the heat of battle. They say that this effect of the Bible works on all beings - soulful, and soulless.

However recently, He has come to regret His latest experiment; Humanity. He saw the chaos and destruction that the humans have sown across His beloved blue marble, and has been led to request that the Council do something to calm them down. They have yet to do so. One wonders why.

Yet so, the problem of Humanity's war has been solved by many of its own creations, stark among them being a blue, light model known as Version One, or V1, for short.

Yahweh has not been seen since.

Heaven is in shambles.

Archangels are hella rad.

St Michael (the only that I know if that’s really called saint) is the warrior. He has a flaming sword. He cast the devil out of heaven- his own brother(ish). So much drama

Gabriel the messenger. Iconic lines such as ‘be not afraid’ when telling an unmarried teen she was about to give birth

Raphael, least know, most beloved, the healer. To be honest I don’t know much about him but I always think it’s funny when I meet a catholic dr named Raphael because that’s how you know they’re parents pressured them into this career

(Not really propaganda but when I went to a catholic elementary school my friend and I tried to co-write a sitcom about the archangels. The nuns were not impressed)

ANGELS ARE HELLA RAD, ANON.

To answer your first question, I've never seen the Owl House but from what I've heard and seen via YouTube it looks extremely cool!! And ah Star vs. The Forces of Evil!! I'd only seen a few episodes of that show but it seemed really good! Also lowkey Star and Marco totally remind me a bit of Lum and Ataru from Urusei Yatsura, I mean a normal high school boy who ends up with a roommate with a girl that's out of this world??? Totally gives off that Urusei Yatsura vibes lol.

To answer your second question, I've never personally played the game myself but I've seen enough of it to think that it's pretty cool!

To answer your third question-

To answer your fourth question, my thoughts on 2012 Tmnt......

Oh. My. God.

Literally one of my favorite Tmnt shows from my childhood aside from the 2003 version of them! I lowkey loved the story and the characters and ahhhhh it gave me so many damn feelings and it lowkey was a big part of my childhood.

To answer your fifth question, I've got a lot of characters from the 2012 series that I adore and admire but I think if I had to choose it'd probably be funnily enough Raphael. (I know shocking because I'm always going on about Leo or Donnie but hear me out-!)

Okay so I really admire 2012 Raph for many reasons, from his fierce loyalty to his family and his passion for fighting he's just an all around great character. But there's so many other reasons why I admire Raphael, I admire how when he fucks up badly he's pretty quick to try and fix his mistakes and learn from them. I admire how even though he's got a temper he does his best to keep it under control because he doesn't want to snap at his brothers. I love how Raph is a softie underneath his tough guy act and how he's gentle with animals such as Spike and Chompy. I admire how when things get tough and his brothers need him he's always there for them, whether it's offering comfort or fighting for them or just being there for them. Honestly 2012 Raph is a damn good character and as the series goes on he grows so much as a person and matures quite a bit. He's by far my favorite character that I admire lowkey.

Long before the days of Sam and Dean Winchester, the first being that the archangel Gabriel (and part time trickster Loki, if one would like to get technical) put into time loops was himself. And Raphael, though he would argue that she doesn’t really count. She’s his brother. His twin. The other side of his truly charming coin. She perfected her healing on the inside of one of his time pockets, given years padded into the cozy space of one of Heaven’s dreary afternoons. The time pockets, as they are, are perfectly safe, Michael. For his younger years, Gabriel mostly uses them as a method of developing his skills; he’s not one for being unskilled in things in front of any of the angels, as he knows that they see the archangels as unbridled authority figures under their Father. He’d hate to break that kind of… borderline idolization. It’s nice to be loved like that.

When his brothers go to war and there is more fighting in Heaven than Gabriel ever thought there could be (there has always been war in Heaven, angels have always been soldiers, but Lucifer was a lawyer, Michael raised them), his pockets of time, their looping safety, become a haven. He creates them in fits of spontaneity, unable to flit further across Heaven and deliver another death notification, wanting to cut off the communication streaming endlessly in his head for just a moment. He plays his music, picks instruments that Lucifer would love the sound of and tells himself that he does not miss his betrayer brother (he had always been Lucifer’s favorite, he thinks), and tries not to sob. He plays music until he feels some semblance of calm again, and then he leaves. The looping of time makes sure that it hasn’t been any more than an hour by the time he returns.

One particular time, Raphael catches on the edges of his wings, and she follows him into the loop. It figures that she knows about them. She probably knows every single thought in his head, if he’s not careful about it. She probably knows everything about everything, honestly. Even though they had always been the same age, she had taught him things since they were fledglings, taught him how to fly when Lucifer had made games of pushing them off of ledges (he had never meant anything by it, he had just wanted them to fly too, he was such a small thing, a bright thing, nothing but a puff of feathers himself). Michael likely thinks he holds secrets from her, but Gabriel doubts it. Raphael has always been their wisest brother.

“Gabriel, I’m unsure how long this can continue,” she says as soon as the loop settles around them, the tiny setting of the log cabin he usually chooses shivering around the unexpected weight of holding both of their large forms. It’s not strictly a real place, just one he crafts, so it adjusts after a moment of this, the extension of his grace flourishing under the larger piece of it he allows it to take. He focuses back on his brother.

“What do you mean?” he asks, though he can likely guess. Michael had never liked it when he played with time. If he has any idea, his temper is already short these days. Raphael sighs.

“I’ve done as much as I can to keep this under the scope of Michael’s attention, but there is only so much I can do,” she says, the words coming out as if they strain her to say, as if they are an admission she is loath to give to him. In this bitterness that the war has given him, he’s forgotten just how much his brother has always protected him. With this great weakness within him, he misses the days in which one could not look between his wings without finding Raphael, and vice versa given that they were always so close. The days when they were fledglings and Michael could hardly drag them apart to bathe them, to carry them upon his great heights (he hardly seems so much larger now, he used to be so much larger), to make everything such an adventure just so that they would separate. Gabriel misses the days when they would never separate.

“How long have you known?” he asks, curiosity more than anything, but he has a feeling he knows. She smiles.

“I felt it the first time you slipped through one without telling me. The displacement of you, however subtle you think you may be, is hard to miss,” she replies, and then her smile slips. His gaze hits the floor before he can help it. “Soon, even in his occupation, Michael will begin to realize as well, you know. I have deceived him where I could, but Gabriel-”

“You deceived Michael for me?” he interrupts, looking at her once again, open vulnerability cracking open his expression in a manner that he cannot shutter. He and Raphael, they are- they’ve always been- but Michael. He is their viceroy. There is no deceiving their viceroy. Raphael holds his gaze.

“Where I could. He is not in his right mind of current, Gabriel. It is his job to lead, and yours to carry the word, but it is mine to assure that there is something left standing when all of it is done. What that looks like, that is up to me. That is my discretion,” she says, her voice a stone thing, and Gabriel looks at where his twin once stood and sees an archangel grown from a circumstance he thinks he might be tired of living through. That is not a very angelic thought, however. He pushes it off. For now.

“You think I need to get different hobbies, huh?” Gabriel replies, injecting levity into a conversation that has absolutely none, because that’s what he does, because actually engaging with things on a genuine level might kill him one day. Hell, it might even do it twice. Raphael graces him with a roll of her eyes (as many of them as there are), and a snort of what might be piteous laughter. He’ll take it.

“Sure, brother. Different hobbies,” she says, and then she drags him out of his own time loop. Rude.

At some point I need to write a Midam highschool AU where Adam is like 'wow this guy is sooo hot, but he's also a jock. Kinda cringe. :/' And then it turns out that Michael is thee biggest dork who doesn't know how to people and only hangs with the 'cool kids' because they're the only ones who approached him and let him tag along. He's the captain of some sports team (football? volleyball? not sure) but he doesn't even like the sport that much, he just did that because his dad signed him up for that sport at some point and then being good at that was the only thing that Michael was ever praised for by his dad. But at this point his dad is home so rarely that Michael is losing his only motivation to play, so while he could probably get a sports scholarship, he doesn't want it and instead just wants to study economics (thinking that will please his dad).

Anyway, the point of this post was that Adam gets to know him better and goes 'Wait he's hot and a dork?? I'm in love.' And Michael, who has never dated anyone who was actually interested in him outside of his looks and him being the [insert sports team here] captain, goes 'What do you mean you like me for my personality??? Error 404, site not found.' But then he's soooo happy, because Adam actually likes him. :) And he's also a little dorky and they can be dorks together. :) And yeah, the other 'cool kids' don't get wtf is going on, but they suck anyway and Michael doesn't care about their opinion, so he just walks around school with heart eyes and carries Adam's books for him and is soooo doting. No one can understand what happened because wasn't this guy kind of a brooding, loner type of person?? (No one realized he was just shitty at approaching/talking to people and all it needed was someone to be a safe haven where he could say what he wanted without being reprimanded or ridiculed. The 'cool kids' hung out with him, but he barely talked to them either because they were so fucking judgy about everyone else he didn't dare say much because they were the only ones who he thought 'tolerated' him and he didn't want to fuck that up. Now he has Adam though, AND Adam's friends who are also dorky and fun.)

So yeah, I just think they're neat and they should get a highschool AU.

trumannatural is so fucked up because yes tfw was a big truman show for chuck, he used sam and dean as characters in his story for their entire lives. but it always makes me think about how his own sons were just nothing to him. they are not real, they are not interesting. michael is just a sword, all he’s good for is giving them a gate to purgatory and dying. raphael never stood a chance at controlling heaven because chuck didn’t want him to. he’s just an obstacle for cas. how much of lucifer falling was even his own choice? or gabriel leaving? how much is chuck a writer and how much is he the writers? how much of these characters exist outside of what they’re good for?

WESLEY DANIEL BROOKS Wesley: English origin, meaning “western meadow.” No special purpose on my part. I yoinked it from James Wesley of Daredevil fame because it sounded like it suited him; Google searching the meaning confirmed it. Daniel: Hebrew origin, meaning “God is my judge.” I do not need to explain why I chose this or why I think it’s funny. Brooks: English origin, meaning “residing near a stream or brook.” I simply wanted a water name because he was designed to be a John ship. However, I like to joke that I belatedly realized it was bad commentary on the plot of the game (just drop “rook” in the middle of “BS”).

ANDERSON BROOKS Anderson: English origin, meaning “son of Andrew.” No purpose, derived from the historical figure Anderson Hatfield primarily because I liked the nickname Anse. He was originally an Arthur, which was a reference to The Scarlet Letter. MARIAN BROOKS Marian: French derivation of the Hebrew name Mariam, meaning “bitter” or “of the sea” or “beloved.” Chosen to be evocative of the Virgin Mary. That’s it, that’s the show.

RAFAEL ALEJANDRO ESTRADA DOS SANTOS Rafael: Spanish derivation of the Hebrew name Raphael, meaning “God has healed.” Hilariously, I had not yet decided conclusively that he would be my captain of the New Dawn era when I chose this. I simply wanted a biblical name associated with angels (and I already had a Gabriel). Alejandro: Spanish derivation of the Greek name Alexander, meaning “defender of man.” Again, this needs no introduction. He is my good boy. Estrada: Spanish origin, derived from the Portuguese word meaning “road.” I nearly despaired and cancelled this when I found out it was one of Oscar Isaac’s last names but I liked it too much for FC5—road, path, you get it—so I kept it. dos Santos: Spanish and Portuguese origin, meaning “of the saints.” The purpose is painfully obvious. Unfortunate (both for me and for him).

NOAH BROOKS-SEED Noah: Hebrew origin, meaning “rest.” Shaggy very much disputes this. The under-the-hood reasoning was simply a joke between Stella and I, that Wes offered the name as a nod to his favorite word, “no.” It is also, of course, a reference to the biblical figure who was chosen by God for the perpetuation of life after His great flood. JOLENE BROOKS-SEED Jolene: English origin, derived from the Hebrew name Joseph, meaning “God is merciful” or “God will add.” The “merciful” part is highly debatable, but He sure did add (sorry to Lyra’s womb). Allowing Lyra and John to name her for Joseph is the natural balance to the Noah debacle, and you know how they feel about balance. CYRUS BROOKS-SEED Cyrus: Persian origin, meaning “sun” or “one who bestows care.” This was chosen by Stella as a reference to the biblical king Cyrus, because it evoked themes of rebuilding and restoration. In retrospect, “one who bestows care” is apt because at any given time you can expect him to be keeping his elder siblings out of prison. PHILIPPA BROOKS-SEED Philippa: Greek origin, meaning “lover of horses.” Yes, she was named to honor Shaggy. Yes, it’s hilarious. (And yes, she does love horses.)

omg. hi. caminatural IS cringe bc its oc based. but im free. no im not.

caminatural is a soft s1-8 rewrite and a HARD s9-15 rewrite. it centers more around angels and specifically expanding the archangels to seven: michael, lucifer, selaphiel (naomi), camiel (pure oc bc i thought no existing angel would fit), raphael, uriel, and gabriel AND also making most of them more sympathetic and more able to change. sorry i will be redeeming some bastards. more like jack will be redeeming some bastards via morality trials.

the reason its called caminatural is bc of camiel who is my BELOVED freak angel oc (cringe mode extreme). theyre inspired partially by actual biblical archangel camiel obviously and also (dont hate me i know <3) scp 001 the gate guardian. both of which wield flaming swords and are associated with eden. SPECIFICALLY i needed a hard hitting oc to necessitate most of the extreme aspects of the rewrite. so i made up an angel who mirrors lucifer (and in a lot of ways also gadreel and sam) in that they were guarding the gate of eden as THE flaming sword (not wielding it. they ARE it.) since humans were cast out, and have done nothing but stare at the horizon guarding that gate. no thoughts no interaction nothing. trapped in a role they were given by a father who forgot them entirely. they did not receive any angel software updates. they dont know whats going on until theyre in a vessel. they dont know what a CAR is. they are a walking fire hazard

So, because you are my Supernatural mutual enabler (among other fandoms, but here we are for the moment) I am going to talk about an idea I had a looooong time ago before I hopped on the Sastiel bandwagon so fast my Sabriel hat flew off.

The story was set post-season five. Castiel is up in Heaven trying to capitalize on his resurrection to negotiate with Raphael to restructure Heaven with more benign goals, Dean is off (trying) to live his life with Lisa and Ben, and Gabriel is practically Graceless on Earth pretending to be a human proprietor of an antique shop waiting for his Grace (expended in an explosive display to fake his death at Lucifer's blade to buy time for the Winchesters and Kali to escape and to make sure he couldn't actually be dragged into the final conflict now that he had proof that his beloved elder brother was so far gone he'd actually kill him) to build itself back up from practically nothing.

Enter Sam: amnesiac, injured, and filled to the brim with a strange amalgamation of Heavenly and Hellish power, having somehow clawed his way out of the Cage and back up to Earth practically on Gabriel's doorstep. Gabriel is, predictably, unimpressed with his Father's meddling, but he's also not about to leave the poor memoryless chucklehead floundering on his own where just anything could snap him up and do horrible things to him, er, to the world with his power.

I bow to you for creating Lilith. If I could have my Lucifer MC spend eternity showering her with love and affection, and letting her know how amazing she is, I would. She deserves all the love.

I had an RO ask for the MS RO’s. Forgive me if this is too long please! I just really love you and your work. I’m also a romantic and your story tugs at my heartstrings.

This is in the deep crushing stage where no feelings have been admitted, but it’s obvious to everyone else that Lucifer and the RO are deeply pining for each other. How would the RO react if they were having a serious conversation with Lucifer where they were being completely serious over the topic with Lucifer but Lucifer didn’t seem to pay attention.

The RO asks Lucifer if they’re paying attention because it looked like they weren’t. Lucifer walks up to them, getting barely an inch from their face with deep eye contact, with the most charming smiling, pokes their cheek affectionately, and says “I was not paying attention. You want to know why? Because I was thinking about how I’d love to get lost in those eyes and never return. I was thinking how I’d want nothing more than to spend an eternity kissing your lips which would be the sweetest pleasure. I was thinking how just being near your beautiful face makes it so hard for me to breathe but I don’t want to be anywhere else. That is why I wasn’t paying attention. Just thought you should know.” Then Lucifer kisses their cheek and runs off giggling before the RO can respond.

You don’t have to answer this if it’s too long or there could be spoilers. I apologize if it’s like rambling. Again, I love your work and I think you’re amazing. Thank you for your creation and for being you!

Lilith would be such a mess. Zoning out, daydreaming, repeat those words in her head again and again...she’d die to have a serious conversation with Lucifer, but also be afraid as hell.

This scenario wouldn’t work out with Raphael. For Luci to get this close, it has to be after the confession...and then he’d probably start to cry

I think I mentioned it before, but in such a scenario Camus would either want to kiss or punch Luci. He doesn’t respond well to genuine/ sweet gestures pre relationship, especially with all the tension between them. Trust issues is all I say.

Polly would be so flustered. Half of what Luci said wouldn’t even sink in. She’d be so surprised it would render her unable to think. And afterwards she’d pretend to haven’t heard anything they said and be colder towards them, unless Luci brought it up.

Mac would react similar to Lilith, only that he’d probably try to catch Lucifer before they can run off. Boy‘s got one chance and he ain‘t taking chances 🏃🏽

That‘s kind of a confession if you ask Gabriel. You wouldn’t say those things if you didn‘t mean it, right?

Ara will definitely pay Luci back. Two can play that game.
