A New Look?

Alternative title: What I would give genshin guys to wear

Basically Reverse isekai but now you gotta make normal outfits for the characters so they don't stick out like a sore thumb. It can also be read as modern AU outfits if you prefer

Characters in order:

Heizou, Xiao, Albedo, Zhongli, Wanderer, Kaeya, Venti, Ayato, Diluc, Kazuha

Honestly heizou would be an easy pick. Old fashioned British detective style. Sherlock Holmes, trench coats, shades of brown, all that jazz. Also, give him access to true crime podcasts, he'll never be bored again.

I'd give xiao the ol' hot topic skater fit. Black, band tees, lots of rings and jewelry, fake pieces, ripped jeans, yeaa. It matches his personality too. Not with fashion but if you do get band t shirts tell him alot about said band just incase one of those "name five members or your not a true fan" people talk to him.

Albedo gets the light academia scholar outfits. Kinda chill, collared shirts, lighter colors, shades of brown and blue. Some gold every once in a while. Loose fitting stuff. Flowy sleeves. Lots of rings. Maybe one or two gold necklaces that he wears every once in a while. The type of outfits you see those aesthetic college student wearing. Maybe a bit of cottagecore. Lots of white shirts.

Zhongli would look like that one professor that everybody has a crush on tbh. Not as formal as what he wears in game but still, collared shirts, suits once in a while, always wears a tie, owns one dark brown trench coat that he wears everywhere at all costs. Lots of darker browns with gold accents here and there. Not a necklace kinda guy but wears a good amount of rings. Totally has reading glasses. Has alot of custom hair pins for some reason? Idk I just feel like he does. Has 100 pairs of dress shoes, and like one pair of black boots. Nothing else. Also If you give him his own closet it's so organized. Spotless, everything fits in the closet right, its honestly impressive.

Wanderer would be alot like Xiao. Hot topic's no. 1 customer. He'd have more of a blue and purple color scheme than black though. Actually listens to all the bands he has shirts of. Big punk fan. Wears this one black beanie with a skull on it basically every day. His shoe game is good, like really good. Had alot of platform shoes so he can look taller. Lots of cropped shirts that looked ripped. No long sleeves, short sleeves and sleeveless tees. An absolute MASTER at makeup, specifically eyeliner. Lotsssss of turtlenecks.

Ooohoho now Kaeya would be f u n to style. Has a more simple style. Those pinterest dudes?? Yeah, think of that. Plain colored shirts, turtlenecks alot, almost never sleeveless. Lots of long sleeves stuff.

Give him one of those black corsets that I always see, since he wears one on his original outfit. Wears necklaces, but doesnt layer them or anything. One simple necklace at a time. A TON of silver rings. Hes got those pinterest guy hands. Wears sheer black gloves. Has this one cropped blue jacket but it's more of a sweater and he always wears it when layering clothing.

Hanging earrings are necessary for him. Has a belt with a snowflake design on it that he uses alot. Almost never wears sweaters. Wears blue, grey, and black almost religiously.

Ahhh venti :) Think similar to albedos but more Victorian than college student vibes. Again, long sleeves, flowy, lotssss of ruffles, has a generous amount of green accents. Has this one emerald necklace that resembles a vision somewhat and he adores it. Never takes it off. Not a giant ring person, but has around a thousand hats. Paper boy hats in green, might own a bucket hat or two? Hes got the whole hat-universe. Always wear white socks that go just below his knees with EVERYTHING. Has multiple pairs and some are a bit more sheer than the others. Has a pair or two of white fingerless gloves to wear with long sleeves, and full, white and sheer gloves he wears when he isnt wearing long sleeves. White button ups are his life. Usually doesnt tuck said button ups in. (Totally not a walking mitski reference)

Ayato isnt THAT complex. And he's got similar style to Zhongli, but complety different color schemes. Wears suits often, and they follow a pattern. White shirt, black tie, light blue suit jacket. The icon of white pants, he basically never wears anything else. For smaller accessories they're usually dark blue or black in color. Not a ring person either, but wears one or two black rings occasionally. Has earrings but not dangly ones. Just black studs. Has alot of dark blue hair pins to keep his hair back. Theres no way his hair naturally just stays that way ok?? Every single boba place within 40 miles knows his name and face by memory. Wears the same looking black shoes all the time.

Diluc is probably another trench coat kinda guy. Less suits, more trench coats for him. In the fancy looking suit and tie gang with Ayato and Zhongli. Usually wears black button ups instead of white ones, with a crimson red tie and a brown trench coat, or a white tie and a darker red coat. Totally not an accessories guy. No necklaces, earrings, and maybe just one single gold rings he wears once every century. Another black shoes only person. I feel like the coats he wear have some fur on them in places. Just a thought. Always carries around like 3 extra hair ties in his pocket just in case he need one.

Kazuha is a comfy clothing icon. Not one for a thousand things on his outfits for aesthetic purposes, just wears what he likes and adds accessories if he feels like it. And absolute king of the fall outfit aesthetic. Outfits usually consists of slightly baggy autumn colored shirts, always short sleeves. Sweatpants or just light colored/bleached cuffed jeans. (Yes I said CUFFED) And occasionally has a darker colored orange and red knit sweater over him. Probably has one or two necklaces on at a time. Always wears this one necklace with a gold chain and a maple leaf charm on it. A gold colored accessories person. Most of the rings he has are gold. Has his ears pierced and usually wears black or gold studs. Sonetimes he wears dangly earrings but nothing to crazy. Ties his hair back a lot less.

Hanma:

something about you being so mysterious lured him in

don't get me wrong, he has whack interests, so this wasn't too far off

but you were the person everyone kinda... feared?

thing didn't like him; hated the smoke that came around him when hanma walked in

thing definitely hit hanma once or twice

liked how quiet you were, so it was a win-win

Mikey:

hinting at the fact that he had depression, you were basically the perfect match for this emo boy

you were powerful with your words, he was powerful with his feet

thing wasn't too fond of his behaviors, but didn't hate him per say

thing was just happy you found someone like you that would make you happy

Takemichi:

worried wayyyyy too much he had done something wrong

you would scrunch up your nose and he would immediately jump to conclusions

had to adjust to the environment and decor

it was different for someone as upbeat as him to buy darker things, but if it was for you, he would do anything

you were the first relationship he had kept alive, so anything to keep you close would make you his world

right off the bad, thing hates all of the cussing

so he tolerates it, hitting him a few times if he overdoes it

baji doesn't like thing, but holy shit does someone's hands running through your hair feel good

has a bromance going on, it's great

is completely fine when you're cold, tired, annoyed, or whatever

you have your own shit, he has his

likes how dark it is; it's a nice change from chifuyu's bright room

Inui:

it's hard to adjust to the different colors, but he adjusts quite nicely

he used to get called "freak show" at his old school due to his shoe choice, so your relationship was a keeper

he was glad that you, and thing, appreciated him for who he was, even if you had a hard time expressing it

he loves dancing with you, don't lie

he even made your dress AND made it match his suit?!

Chifuyu:

a very bright person

yellows, a few pastels, just liked to air away from plain black

Only one photo was damaged. Weird because the other half was okay. Oh, the unknown surprises of instant photography!

My First Polaroid Cameras

Last year, I not only bought one but two Polaroid cameras on Carousell, a buy-and-sell platform. It was actually my first time owning this brand of instant camera. I remember when I was a kid, I used to refer to the Fujifilm Instax brand as 'Polaroid.' To me, every instant camera was a Polaroid. I even believed that shaking the film would make it develop faster. Well, as it turns out, that's just a common misconception about instant photography. Anyway, the seller informed me that he had obtained the cameras from an auction house. At first, I was hesitant because I preferred to personally inspect and test them. However, I decided to take the risk. The seller assured me that the cameras were in good condition and that he had already tested both of them, confirming they were working fine. I managed to get both cameras for the price of one. Not bad at all.

As soon as I received my new cameras, I promptly ordered the films. I started by testing the Polaroid 636 talking camera. This camera has an amazing feature that allows you to record your voice or music, and when you click the shutter button, it plays the recorded sound. Personally, I'm not a fan of its design as it lacks the classic Polaroid look, but it's still a Polaroid nonetheless. I also did some research to determine which type of film was suitable for this particular Polaroid model. I was amazed to discover that the old Polaroid cameras don't require batteries. Each pack of film contains a fresh battery that powers the camera. How cool is that?

When it came time to test the cameras, I found myself contemplating what to capture because the film isn't cheap. Each pack has only 8 exposures, and it costs around 1200–1500 PHP. Every shot is precious. So, for my first two packs, I took photos of my loved ones.

This is the second pack of Color 600 film, and I still have one shot left. As you can see, the last two photos here look damaged. This damage occurred due to how I handled the film during the transfer, as well as the fact that there was a significant gap in the time these images were taken. The most recent ones were taken just last month in September, while the previous image, before the last two, was taken in February. The film was stored inside the camera, which just sat on my shelf, untouched, and the storage conditions at home can become quite warm, and this seems to have had a damaging effect on the film.

The other camera I got was the Instant 1000 Deluxe. This one was much older and still had its box, which, according to the seller, was rare for a boxed ‘70s Polaroid. Unfortunately, when I tested this one out, it was not working. Yes, the dark slide was ejecting, but once I tried to click the shutter, it seemed like it was stuck. I still haven’t had the chance to have it fixed. Btw, I love the look of this one. Classic!

I also transferred the SX-70 films to a finished 600 film cartridge. I thought the SX-70 pack that I bought had a discharged battery, but still it wouldn’t work. Anyway, I just used the film using the Polatalk. I should just keep in mind that I need all the light I can get when shooting this because of its 160 ISO.

Here are the results:

Two photos were damaged in this SX-70 pack. I think it was because of how I handled the film during the transfer. Ahhh! I wasted two golden films. Lol! Anyway, the vibe of these photos is very vintage.

I love the overall retro look and feel of Polaroid. It's very different from the contrasty results of Instax. So yeah, can't wait to shoot more. If the budget permits, I would love to bring one of my Pola cams on my travel trips. But for now, we've got to stick to taking photos of our loved ones.

I saw this earlier and it reminded me of Day 81 of my Isolation on Tracy Island series.

Day 81 of Isolation on Tracy Island and we are all scarred for life. And it’s all Grandma’s fault.

We were alerted to the fact that something was going on when we heard music coming from the lounge. We could hear her singing along and she seemed to be really vibing.

Stupidly we thought it might be nice to share something with her that she was obviously enjoying. We will never make that mistake again. I should have learnt after the soap opera incident.

We trooped into the lounge half way through a song and the first thing we saw on the holoprojector was a woman in a black dress singing. But that wasn't the strange thing...

“Is that a cat?” Gordon asked. “And is he wearing a fancy suit?”

“She’s singing and dancing with a cartoon cat?” Scott frowned.

“Wait, is she dating the cat?” Virgil wanted to know.

We watched as the woman sang with the cat about how opposites attract.

“Well, they are definitely opposites,” John goggled. “But I’m worried about the attraction side of things.”

“That cat’s got some serious moves!” I grinned, trying to copy the dance and failing miserably.

The music video ended and another started.

“Oh, I love this one,” Grandma squealed excitedly. “I remember my mother playing these on the radio when I was a little girl.”

“Hey, I think I know this one too! My mum was the same, playing all the old songs when I was young.” I joined in, humming the first few bars. That was as far as I got.

EVERY NOW AND THEN I GET A LITTLE BIT LONELY AND YOU’RE NEVER COMING ROUND.

“Where is she?” Alan asked.

“Why are there doves?” Scott wondered.

“It’s full moon,” I chipped in. “That's never a good sign.”

“Her hair is huge!” Kayo whistled. “It’s like she put a poodle on her head.”

EVERY NOW AND THEN I GET A LITTLE BIT TERRIFIED AND THEN I SEE THE LOOK IN YOUR EYES

“What's with his eyes!” Alan screamed as the young boy on the screen turned to face the camera, his eyes glowing from within. And when I say glowing I don't just mean in a cute, beautiful way, I mean that he looked like when you pull the head off a doll and stick a torch up in there. Dang was that weird.

“Don't go down there, it's haunted,” Scott warned the woman in the floaty white dress who was running down a dark hallway in the creepy old mansion she was apparently staying in. “It’s always haunted in the movies.”

“He's got wings now?” Virgil asked.

“Gordo, swimmers!” Alan yelled.

“Why are there ninjas?” Gordon asked, distracted from the swimmers by the sudden appearance of masked ninjas bouncing here and there for no apparent reason.

“What kind of school is this?” John asked out loud, clearly more confused than he'd ever been in his life before and he'd sat through drunk conversations with me.

“Oh, that fancy dinner just got all kinds of creepy,” I gasped.

Grandma was oblivious to our horror, or she was enjoying adding to it by singing along really loudly and dramatically, sweeping her arms around like the big haired harpy on the screen. We ignored her as best we could, our eyes riveted on the screen that was traumatising us further by the second.

“Are they fencing now?”

“Someone let the circus in, there’s acrobats everywhere.”

“Her dress is so white, I’d never be able to keep that clean.”

“Oh look, the cool dudes have arrived and they are getting down to some moves on the stairs.”

“Apparently she really needs that guy…”

“Why do they not have shirts on? We wouldn't be able to wear that in our high school.”

"I know, what's the point of shoulder pads but no shirts?"

“Her hair is cushioning her brain, that’s why she can keep bashing against walls like that.”

“Is he naked?”

“Yep, wet and naked.”

“Yes, run away, love, run away!”

“There's glitter in his face mask, that’s weird.”

“That’s not the only thing that’s weird about this whole situation.”

“John, they have a situation.”

“What? They all have the eyes!”

“Ahhh he's flying, get away! Run while you still can!”

“Don't kick like that! That's ridiculous, you’ll poke someone's eye out with your big toe!”

“Well, he’s...bendy.”

AND WE'LL ONLY BE MAKING IT RIGHT

'CAUSE WE'LL NEVER BE WRONG

“You'll never be wrong? Who are you trying to kid? This whole thing is wrong!”

“Are they related to torchy?”

“They dance as bad as Alan.”

“Hey, cheap shot!”

“Don’t stroke her with your wings! That’s so cringey.”

ONCE UPON A TIME I WAS FALLING IN LOVE.

NOW I’M ONLY FALLING APART.

“Wait...is she a teacher?”

“Phew. it was a dream.”

“That doesn’t make it any less creepy, Gordo.”

“Wait...what? What’s going on now?”

“Ewww.” I hid my face against Virgil’s shoulder, far too creeped out to keep watching.

ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS LIGHT IN MY LIFE

BUT NOW THERE’S ONLY LOVE IN THE DARK

“The darkness was better, I promise you,” I mumbled.

NOTHING I CAN SAY

A TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART

“Turn around? Freakin’ Run!”

The song ended much to our relief and as one we all prepared to execute a tactical retreat.

“Well, I better go check on that thing.”

“Yeah, Dad wanted me to check it out too.”

“Well, I had better come along to make sure that-”

“Oh no,” Grandma cut in. “You can’t go yet, this next one is one of my favorites.”

We all sank back down, helpless trapped for the foreseeable future.

SOMETIMES I FEEL I'VE GOT TO...RUN AWAY

“Dude in bed, at least this isn't as weird as the creepy school,” Gordon commented.

“That horoscope is rubbish,” I huffed. “So generic, I’d never put that out, it’s lazy.”

“You've got standards,” Scott patted my shoulder.

“Yes I do!”

“Wait, who's that?” Alan asked.

“Is that a meteor?” Gordon looked at John.

“Not one I’ve ever seen.”

“Gahh,” Alan screamed. “Creepy star people!”

“Why are there always creepy people in these videos?” Scott shuddered.

“John, is that your ex?” Gordon asked slyly.

The glare John threw his way should have, by rights, killed the fishy on the spot.

ONCE I RAN TO YOU

NOW I RUN FROM YOU

“Yes, run away, that’s sensible.”

“Get away is a good idea.”

“Are they fireballs now?”

“Mystical fire balls,” I nodded.

The dude on the holoprojector had gotten up out of bed, avoiding the weird, floaty star people and was making a break for freedom… No, he was making for the fridge.

"Yes, drinking more will help this situation," I told him sarcastically.

"At least he's got jeans on now," Virgil pointed out.

"Why is that singer looking so pleased with himself?" Kayo asked.

"And why is he looking down on this and watching? Is he god?" I asked.

"Are you sure you haven't met them?" Alan asked John.

"If they touched me I’d throw myself out the airlock," he answered.

We cringed our way through the rest of the sing, not knowing what to make of it at all.

"Why are all the music videos so strange?" Scott had to know.

"I don't know," Grandma admitted. "It's just how they were, I think they wanted to make them memorable."

"Well I'll certainly not forget that horror in a hurry," John shuddered, spearing Gordon and Alan with a look that promised retribution if they dared ask one more question about his relationships with star people.

All in all we sat through twelve videos, watching a group of people doing a weird synchronised dance while singing about Prince Charming, another one about spinning someone right round, something about a chameleon and a particularly strange one about Rasputin that John insisted was not historically accurate at all. Honestly I wasn't listening to the words, my attention was locked on the very energetic bloke with the long beard who was dancing like a mad man at the front of the stage. And don't get me started on the strange guys in dungarees that were singing about someone called Eileen. I don't know what was going on but they really seemed to want her to follow them, they kept yelling at her to come on.

We escaped while Grandma was searching through her phone for some more. The second we got out of the lounge we scattered, every man (and woman) for themselves, our logic being that we had more chance of at least some of us managing to stay lost if we weren't in one big mass.

If I thought lockdown was sending people crazy… it's got nothing on the 80s

Oooo good questions!! TYSM for asking then ^^ Going with 28 first since it's shorter! A selection of favourite songs: A good song never dies - Saint Motel The Woods - San Fermin Watchmaker - Area 11 The Wolf And The Sheep - Alec Benjamin Red Line - Anna Yvette Favourite relationship between OCs? Hmm, that's a super hard one! I have a lot of OCs whose relationships I really like & enjoy, so take a few I really want to talk about:

Atlas & Althea - The very first OCs whose relationship I really ended up loving? I just adore the 2 of them so much, especially together. Althea was a custom design who I literally commed for the sole reason of making a GF for Atlas, who I wasn't even supposed to keep lol. There isn't anything in particular about their dynamic that draws me to them? Their main relationship theme is kind of a shared healing journey. They both experienced similar but separate life-altering trauma, meeting in a support group for it. They just have a happy domestic life together, very slice of life & soft sweet vibes.

Verity Rai & Anastasia - Sticking with the good vibes & theme of shared life journeys together are these 2 ancient gals! Bonus fact is that they're the first 2 married OCs I ever had / made. Their story is very much a gay love story about discovering yourself and finally feeling free to explore your identity; finding someone with whom you feel safe and comfortable enough to question yourself and then along the journey ending up falling in love with them. These 2, as it turns out, are very much sapphic and very in love. They're going to spend their eternities with each other <2

Quinn & a lot of people actually - Ahhh, a big old polyship of mine! Quinn is probably one of my most precious OCs, she has my whole heart. She is also very much polyamorous & has many multiple partners; I'm not going to go in depth regarding all of her relationships but I do want to shout her out in general. She has romantic, platonic, fluitic & QPP relationships; all of which I enjoy depicting her in. She also happens to be one of the very few OCs I have who has kids and also just like siblings in general?

Nokomis & Takeshi & Pandora & Edith - Stopping the good vibes train here with this horrible (/aff) little family. There are so many problems between these siblings and they have a fairly dark storyline? I'm keeping those details to a minimum here though. Details below the cut (includes mentions of prejudice and generally really shitty treatment of an individual)

Noko & Takeshi hate each other so much. He was such an awful and prejudice brother towards her, taking the first chance he could to throw her out to the wolves. He was the de facto head of the family and used that to kind of ruin Noko. (He's a horrible guy to be honest.) He never trusted her and always whispered behind her back to their siblings; she thinks that he was the main one to ruin her life. She's not entirely wrong either. There is animosity between them that not even a million years could wipe out. Noko & Edith always had a very strained relationship mainly because of Takeshi, who Edith tended to defer to. So when the 'big incident' happened and it 'proved him right?' Well, she was more than happy to agree to get rid of Noko. Neither sister has ever hated the other really? Up until that point at least, then Noko was on her way there. Edith's actions are, in the distant future end, forgivable at least. Noko & Pan were always the closest out of the siblings, they had the tightest bond. Pan always stood up for Noko and made her feel welcome and loved, like she mattered even when their siblings attitudes felt cold. Losing Pan? Ruined Noko in ways that can't be articulated; Pan was her rock and anchor, without her Noko was lost. Pan is the absolute largest and in charge(est) source of emotions in Noko; turmoil, grief, doubt, agony, self hatred. It's all in there. Edith looked up to Takeshi and tended to defer to him. He appreciated the backup and trust placed in him. She did sometimes argue Noko's point with him, swaying him to a degree, even she couldn't make him see reason. Pan was generally at at odds with Takeshi over his treatment of Noko but did still love him. He loved her but never understood where she was coming from and why she cared so much about Noko. He was so stubborn on the matter, claimed he was trying to protect them all from Noko. Pan very much disagreed about this, she knew Noko was no danger. Pan and Edith sort of got along? They both loved each other but Pan, for good reason, could never forgive Edith siding with Takeshi. Pan was capable of swaying Edith and, pre incident, basically had converted her to Noko's side. She was so close to making her sister realise how irrational she was being until she wasn't...

10. INSPIRATION : Typically... from music. It’s always had a way of transporting my mind to other places and evoking emotions in me, so it therefore also helps me get in the mood to write as well.

11. STORY BEHIND URL : I’ve actually answered this for another quiz before, but I’ll just paste it below because that post got a little wonky and Tumblr won’t let me link to it for some reason, fml. The word “nexus” and the avatar I use are from a video game called Demon’s Souls, the precursor to the Dark Souls series of games. The Nexus in that game was kindof a starting point for the player because there would be portals you could go through that led you to each of the worlds or levels you had to get through to complete the game. But also, it was a lingering point for wandering, troubled, or lost souls. Whenever you would return to the Nexus, there might be the ghost of a dead knight or lady or whoever that you can talk to, just suspended there in time and thinking about their final moments or regrets they had. Sometimes things they said led to side quests or would help you in your travels. It was like a hub for souls to pass through in that regard, so it seemed like a pretty fitting name for a multimuse blog. This is what the nexus looks like… it’s covered in magical wards, some of which are in my avatar for this blog. It has a Labyrinth (1986) vibe, if you ask me, heh. This is also used as the header image for my blog:

My OOC tag “{i am the caretaker of souls}” refers to the Maiden in Black, a mysterious character never fully explained in the game but who is always there in the Nexus to guide the player and explain about the various souls one encounters in the Nexus or beyond:

She would be in a different place each time you returned to the Nexus, sometimes standing in a corner or in the center of the floor, sometimes sitting on the stairs, sometimes letting her legs dangle over the side. It always gave her a feeling in my mind of a wise and unrushed sense of time not mattering, like she had all the time in the world to linger there, or maybe that she was trapped there but didn’t mind so much. And yet she seemed to care about all the souls that passed through the Nexus. That she would move around each time you returned, be in different places, kick her dangled legs playfully, fiddle around with her staff… it evoked such a feeling of her really being alive in this world she lived in. She was blind, her eyes covered up, and yet she was wise and all-knowing as concerned the souls the player would face in the game. She was very much like a caretaker for them, not just explaining about them but also watching over them in a sometimes protective manner. She seemed like a good inspiration for the tag, heh. Aaaand that explained a lot more than just my url but that’s okay, you’re welcome. XD

I’ll start with a list of whom I consider to be my blorbos, then I’ll talk why I like them and maybe list a few headcanons for some I REALLY think about

(I find it funny that I have gotten extremely attached to characters that I haven’t even watched the shows for)

Saiki

I found him through looking up aroace compilations on youtube.

I’m not lying.

He showed up so much and I was intrigued so I click on a video and I’m instantly captivated by his personality and the entire comedy of the show.

I ended up figuring out the entire plot pretty quick by just watching some videos and Saiki became a fast favourite.

Naturally when I become interested in something, I read fanfic for it. Which leads me to my next blorbo

Bakugou

Like I’ve obviously heard of him and mha before so I had a rough idea of who he was and what he was like.

So I find some Saiki and mha crossover fic and the thing intrigued me and Bakugou was decently prominent.

I essentially liked is angry Pomeranian vibes.

He is very different from my normal blorbo types. Because of the anger and stuff but my goodness there are vibes.

There is also trauma but that’s a side dish to the blorbo.

I naturally, like every blorbo I headcanon him as aroace. Suffer horny Bakugou fans.

It’s kind of true but I kind of also headcanon him as a big nerd (I do have a type for blorbos they are nerds.)

The common headcanon about Bakugou needing to be constantly angry because of all the nitroglycerin is very neat and I love sciency headcanons so that’s inserted itself into my headspace as well.

Tokoyami

The bird guy? The emo bird guy?

Yes blorbo.

Literally just vibes. Funny little emo bird.

Aroace, definitely looks at dark academia posts, writes poetry and short horror stories.

Krel

I love him. My little nerd.

Also aroace and I enjoy the headcanon that Akaridions do not require any food or water, which really explains the weird stuff that Aja and Krel tried to eat when they first came to Earth.

I don’t know how common this is but the concept of the more often the Akaridions use their human forms the more human they become. Remember when Krel get the nose-bleed? Yeah I do.

Prince Lotor

First guy that would I end up considering as my first blorbo.

Ahhh March of 2021. What a fucking month. I watched like half an episode of season 3 waiting for the time to pass and saw Lotor and I went ‘you. Funky smart purple man.’

Voltron was the second anime adjacent/semi-animated-styled show I got into. After avatar of course.

Aroace. As I said it’s a common theme. And suffer as well horny Lotor fans.

Lotor just vibes with gender, he doesn’t mind what pronouns you use. Guess maybe agender or nonbianary. Demiboy? I’m not sure other than the fact that he is chill towards it and doesn’t mind he/him or other pronouns.

I adore the headcanon that he based his armour design off his cat.

And a few personal headcanons of mine are that he:

1. Is protective of kids because of his shitty childhood and knows of the consequences of war

2. Took in his generals when they are kids and kind of thinks of them as his younger siblings or kids.

A fic concept using those would be Lotor fighting the paladins manages to take off the helmet of one of them and went ‘oh shit you guys are kids’ gets all pissed and was like ‘how could the princess allow this’ joins them and realizes that Allura is also 19 and by extension of 10,000 year old Lotor logic he goes ‘aw shit you guys are all kids. Fine then I’m joining you’

And then they beat the shit out of Zarkon and everybody lives well no alternative colony blah blah blah.

Azula & Sokka

Would you be surprised that the first full episode of avatar that I watched was the beach episode?

Yeah. Not a good first impression but that episode managed to pique my interest and I finished season 3 and watched the whole thing.

At first Azula was like some odd side character to me. But by s2 ep1 she had caught me. I found her to be really cool!

Demi aro and ace. Lesbian.

Besties with Sokka.

Sokka. My boy. I was also very neutral with him at the beginning, but he grew on me pretty quick.

He’s like the only blorbo that I don’t headcanon as aro and/or ace. Bisexual and Demiboy with he/they pronouns.

I don’t have any big headcanons for them but they found their way into my heart either way.

Whoops i lost track of this one my bad. Discord messaging is so much easier with the notification staying there. Anyways. Hell yeah getting to be not near people you do lnt vibe with is the best love that for you. Ah yeah gulls will just be an asshole about anything so at least they gave warning? and yeah! oh gods, stretching is so nice (although I am literally the least flexible person ever)! even more because what I study forces me to stay in front of a computer in uncomfortable poses (when I tell you I had to watch a record of a lesson and my ass was numb by the end of it) and I'll be getting up and be like 'yeah, I don't think that muscles should be there' (so, absolutely love the sensation!).

also I hope you'll get to run around a bit (with full on volume songs in your ears)! (no bestie, I gotcha about Vaella, because as somebody who also have oc of children, I love them all equally but there are two specifically I love to come up with headcanons and ideas about. I also absolutely love that shy little girl gets Arnas as an husband, as he gives me both burly but also very devoted man. I mean... he is fictional...) I get that SO HARD! I’m literally sitting ALL DAY in front of the ‘puter most days so UGHHHHHH. It feels horrible! And for me I feel it most on my back! It’s the only yoga instructor that doesn’t make me feel bored and she has some very energizing routines that would maybe help you when you’ve been too long sitting in front of the computer. Also aaaaaaah swimming sounds super delicious right now because it’s starting to heat up here and it’s been YEARS since I’ve been to a pool/beach!

Omg omg giggling kicking my feet screaming, exactly!! Something about that contrast makes me super giddy. Shy Vaella deserves a hot af, northern, passionate lover to bring her out of her shell. Also about comfort vs aesthetic, I was the same and always chose things because they were indulgent (I have all the spooky blankets ever, and a jack-o-lantern pillow, and a collection of spooky mugs that is getting out of control) and I never got why my mom would be constantly buying aesthetically pleasing things when we already have so much dishes and sheets and what have you. Like I rather spend money on clothes than house things. And then I stepped into the Zara Home store once and I saw these plate set and I suddenly had an epiphany lmao. I imagine that would totally be the case of living with Aemond, you suddenly pick up on his taste for nice home things 😅 but matching mugs!??? My heart 😭 dying with Aemond planning your move in because I feel like he’d already be planning your wedding and retiring when you’re both old and you haven’t even gone on the second date yet 😅 And I DID LOVE THE FIC! Omg I loved it and I’m so hooked!! THAT CLIFFHANGER with reader working at the enemy corp is just!!! Ugh the angst!! And also awkward Aemond sending her the drinks and not knowing what to say, ahhhh 😭😭😭😭

Chapter 5 - Legacy

"Oi, you lovebirds, that's enough, go to sleep now." the playfully teasing voice of 240 as she crouched behind Min Ji and Sangwoo, putting her arms around their shoulders, sniggering. "Don't get so familiar with me." Sangwoo grumbled, getting up. "Do you mind if I keep lookout with you?" Min Ji didn't budge from the place, instead, she pulled down on 240's sleeve, making her giggle and stumble down next to her. "Oh? You gonna cheat on that guy with me?" the girl winked at Min Ji, nudging her with a knowing smirk. "...Maybe?" Min Ji played right into it, giggling together with the girl. "My name is Min Ji. I'm really happy that you agreed you be on our team." "Yeah, I guess I'm happy too. You and that girl are really pretty cool. And I had so much fun seeing you get into curly bitch's face." the girl smirked, before snapping her fingers in realization. "Ji-yeong. Nice to meet you too." "You're so easy to talk to. I'm surprised. I'm not usually talkative or sociable, but you just give off such a lovely vibe. Ah, damn, sorry, I sound like a damn grandma. Shit, I'm old." Min Ji snorted, face palming at her idiocy. "You too, Min Ji. You too. So, go on, tell me something about yourself." Ji-yeong urged her. "Uhm... What should I say? I know people aren't really interested in education on jobs... Hobbies, maybe? Or... Movies? Music? Ah, how about I guess what you're into, and you guess back? How's that?" Min Ji leaned her chin on her hands, turning to look at the girl. "Ohhh, making things fun, I love it! Okay, fine, I go first. Hmm... You like to look classy and elegant, but you have a cutesy and feminine side to you, but also a super badass and dark one that only comes up when you're angry. How's that? You try to appear laid back and chill, but you're really stressed all the time and can get emotional easy but you don't show it until you're alone at home." damn, Min Ji's shocked and speechless. "Shit fam, are you, like, an esper or something? Not even my parents could read me this well. But yeah, damn, yeah you're so right, you're really living me speechless. That was amazing!" she managed to choke out, stumbling over her words. "Then... You're the adventurous, easy-going type who loves to travel and have fun with friends, you don't care about drinking and indulge in the occasional smoke, but nothing serious. And you're a fire sign. I think a Sagittarius... If you care about the zodiac sign that is. You had a rebel-emo phase some time ago, but you still love some of the old song and bands from back in the day." Min Ji tried to guess. "Very good, very good, yes, that's very nice. You do the same, don't you, anyway? Also, yeah, I'm a Sagitt. Late November. I bet you're an Earth sign, right? By the way... I managed to steal a few cigarettes and a lighter from some guys who died some time ago. Wanna go smoke them in the bathroom later?" Ji-yeong grinned mischievously at her. "You bet I do. I'm a Capricorn. January 3rd. Nobody would come on my birthday or remember it because of the New Year's Day." Min Ji chuckled softly, looking around so she won't wake the others up. She could start talking loudly without realising. "What your favourite drink? You like sweet cocktails and stuff?" "I looove Mojitos. Especially on the bitch where it's super hot and the drink is icy icy cold. And you? Red wine enthusiast?" Ji-yeong guessed. "Yeah, but I'm very picky about it. It has to be very sweet, first of all, and it can't be too unbearably aromatic. But I like sweet cocktails too, like Green Apple or Campari Orange... Or vodka with cherry juice. Oh, and there's a whiskey with honey, that's so good, but I haven't found it in so many years, it's a real pity." Min Ji pouted playfully. "Ahhh, you're such a Wine Aunt, Min Ji! Say, when you get out of here, what do you wanna do?" the cheery girl asked. "I'd take your hand and go to Ibiza to have the fun of our lives. Hell, maybe we'll get Paris Hilton as our DJ. And we can drink and smoke and dance and have soooo much fun because we'll have enough money to afford anything we want. Haha, that sounds so cool... I haven't gone to a club in such a long time... I want to dance and go deaf from the loud music, and have my head dizzy from the lights, and have fun with friends..." Min Ji mused, swaying back and forth in excitement. "Ohh, what a hidden party girl we have here! You think that guy can keep up with you? He's an old man. You'll get upset." Ji-yeong turned a bit serious all of a sudden. "Hey, did you see him during Tug of war? Wasn't he so cool? And besides, he's not that old. And at least he's mature. You don't want to know what kind of stupid, immature idiots I had to deal with. Besides... He promised we'd get out of here alive. I'd like to cling on that idea as much as possible. But I want you and Sae-byeok and Ali and Gi hun to get out of here alive too. We get along so well, I'd love it if we could go out and have fun together and... Keep in touch, go on holidays and all that. That sounds very wholesome, huh?" Min Ji smiled warmly at the girl. "Yeah, totally. Let's do that, yes? Let's do that." as Ji-yeong said that, Min-Ji pulled out her pinky towards her. "Pinky promise you'll get to show me your playlist?" the red head asked, and excitedly, the girl with the nose piercing hooked her pinky to hers. "And we get to binge watch netflix stuff, stay late into the night and eat, drink and smoke as much as we want." they promised, giggling like schoolgirls, only to be interrupted by Gi hun who was ready to take over their shift. As he sat down, his back at the girls, Min Ji was ready to go sleep on her mattress, only to get quickly stopped by Ji-yeong, dragging her to Sangwoo's. "Are you crazy?" Min Ji's face must have been as red as her hair from embarrassment and shock at the implication. "What do you have to lose anyway. Go on. You'll just say you were too sleepy for doing two shifts." the girl pushed her unnie towards the self-assigned mattress. "You're insane." Min Ji muttered as, taking a deep breath, she carefully raised the blanket and snuggled up to him, making sure she won't wake the man up.

Unfortunately, morning came by unexpectedly fast, but the warmth she felt made her body fight against moving even by an inch as she snuggled closer to that source of heat. Damn, did it feel nice and safe here, in the comfort of the blanket and pillow.

Pillow that proved, very soon, to be Sangwoo's arm.

"Min Ji, wake up. The guards are lining us up." his voice came up as he helped her up, ruffling her hair up with a teasing smirk. "Oh, hey, I, uh... I... You know..." she tried to mutter an excuse for getting so comfortable, but instead, he simply smiled and shook his head. "Good morning." was all he said, not wanting to give her too much of a hard time. "...Yeah. Morning." she smiled back and went in line behind him, only to be lead to witness 4 guards and the doctor from Deok-su's gang, all lifeless and hanging from their wrists, for everyone to witness the fate of those who don't follow the rules. Oopsy daisy.

Back in the white room, they were told the game will be played in teams of two and that they should pair up. Min Ji bit her lip hard and looked at Sangwoo, then hung her head. She knew he wanted a strong man and would most likely pick Ali over anyone else. That was his game strategy, after all.

"Min Ji..." Sangwoo looked troubled, looking down at the girl. "It's fine, I understand. Get out of here alive, okay? You promised." Min Ji smiled weakly at him, wagging her pinky dramatically. "Thank you. You as well. Take care." he said, squeezing her shoulder and, as expected, going to Ali and shaking hands.

As expected, no one wanted to play with curly bitch. And, again, as expected, nobody wanted to play with women either. The first to get up was Sae-byeok, who went to search around for anyone who'd want to pair up. Then, Ji-yeong jumped to her feet and extended her palm towards Min Ji.

"Unnie, do you trust me?" the girl asked with a smile on her face. "Yeah, I do. Wait, you wanna pair up with me? But I'm-... I'm not physically strong in the least. I don't want to put you at a disadvantage, I -" Min Ji got up, looking concerned at the girl in front of her. "Just say yes. Don't worry, I'll make sure you get out alive. We promised, right?" Ji-yeong's smile was contagious, so much that Min Ji found herself smiling back. "If you think it's alright, then... Hell yes, let's go! Ibiza, baby!" she chuckled, shaking hands and hooking arms with each other, ready to strike down whatever opposition they were going to have.

Funny enough, curly bitch remained alone because nobody wanted to team up with her.

Too bad, so sad.

Play despacito and drink a mojito.

Team by team, they were guided into a labyrinthine game zone that looked like a basic neighbourhood that anyone would have lived in as a kid. They were assigned a small, yet intimate space, and were given a pouch of 10 marbles each. And then, they were told the winning conditions.

You have to compete with your partner... And the player who takes all 10 marbles from their partner wins.

"......HUH?!" Min Ji cried out loud from shock, feeling the sky falling down on her. "HUHHHHHHHH?!" she left the assigned space, looking around at all the teams, and it seemed that no, she wasn't the only one with a crestfallen expression of extreme disbelief. "No! No! NO! This-... No, this can't be-... This can't be happening! What the fuck is wrong with y'all?!" Min Ji punched a wall as hard as she could from anger, not even caring about the pain anymore. "Hey, calm down, you're supposed to be the calm one, right?" Ji-yeong pried Min Ji away from the wall, taking her hand in hers. "I want to compete WITH you, not AGAINST you, Ji-yeong! We are supposed to get the hell out of here together! And go have fun in Ibiza and dance until we can't stand and get shit faced drunk and smoke more than the whole fucking fog of London!" Min Ji yelled at her new-found friend. "We will, but calm down. I have a plan, okay? But we have enough time, so don't rush or anything, okay? Let's chat a bit, maybe it will ease your nerves or something. I really enjoy talking to you, you know?" Ji-yeong dragged the frowning red head down on the small stairs and leaned her head on her shoulders. "...Fine, we do it your way. What do you want to talk about?" Min Ji asked in a small voice, hanging her head down. "I dunno. Tell me about your family. Why'd you end up here. You don't seem like someone who'd run their lives down into the dirt." she asked so casually. "Hmm... Well, okay, I don't mind telling you. My parents died in a car crash about 10 years ago. Incidentally, about 10 years ago, they found their business to be failing, and found that the CEO of another, bigger business had a son, pretty successful himself. I was out of SNU, Veterinary Medicine degree, just finished my PhD in Oncology. I was 27. I had earned scholarships throughout all my years in SNU, being the top of my class, I had internships at one of the best hospital where I work even now, to this day... Everything was going spectacular for me. In 2 years I managed to buy myself a penthouse and fully furnish it myself, somewhere near the national park. But my parents claimed I was nothing because I didn't have a family, so they pushed this arranged marriage on my back. Really... They weren't the worst parents in the world, but... My ex-husband is Gun-seo, the guy staying so close to Deok-su. The guy who beat me up during the riot night. And during our wedding night. And during every other night when he'd come drunk and want to have fun. Fucking bastard." Min Ji stopped for a while, then looked up at the faux red sky. "And then he divorced me, forged papers, sued me and got me 1 billion won in debt to him. Fucking prick. I want to strangle the life out of him with my own hands. I want to punch him until his own mum won't recognize his ugly mug anymore." she spit on the ground from anger. "Jeez, how disgusting of him. I hope you get to kill him. He doesn't deserve all that money. You worked so hard for yourself, only for him to steal it away? Nuh-huh, no way." Ji-yeong shook her head in denial. "Anyway, when you get outta here, what do you wanna do with the money?" she asked, once again. "I told you, didn't I? I'll get you to Ibiza." Min Ji spoke, still rejecting the reality. "What else?" Ji-yeong pushed her. "I... I and Sangwoo promised each other we'd travel the world and find out what hobbies we have so we can properly pursue them." the red haired girl spoke. "Can I bride your hair? It's really pretty. You dyed it recently, didn't you?" she asked, going a stair upwards, getting behind the girl. "It's pretty gross from not being properly washed, but if you don't find it disgusting, I don't mind. I always found someone playing with my hair so soothing. It always calmed me down and helped me sleep." the red head spoke, a bit nostalgic. "Do you have any hobbies that you enjoy now?" the younger one asked. "Well... It's not often, but... I realised a few things after watching chinese dramas. One, I love playing the guqin. Second, I love dressing up in those super pretty dresses and dancing and singing songs from those dramas. Also, I actually picked up embroidery super fast and I pride myself with making some damn pretty flowers. I have a few of my works hung on a wall in my room, actually." Min Ji chuckled, a bit embarrased. "Ehhh, I'd love to see them too. And hear you perform... Actually, why don't you perform something for me some time today?" she asked, finishing her braid. "I'd be too embarrassed. I haven't ever performed in front of anyone. My voice and dance moves aren't as gracious and fluid as those girls' on TV, you know?" Min Ji blushed, looking down. "Ah, who cares, not like anyone would see anyway. They're all busy killing or dying." many more shots were heard. "Say, had you ever seen a dead body before coming here?" she asked again. "Well... Not human ones, no. I'm an animal doctor, so I have to deal with a lot of death, but only of the animal variety. It's really heartbreaking." Min Ji muttered, before shaking her head. "And you?" "The first one I saw... Was my mum. One day I came home after school, and found her dead on the floor. Next to her, was my so-called dad with a knife in his hand." silence took over them for a few seconds. "The next person I saw dead... Was my dad. And the one standing next to him with a knife was me. He was a pastor. Whenever he'd beat my mum and did the unthinkable to me, he always prayed... For our sins to be forgiven. But he didn't pray the day he killed my mum. Maybe he knew he couldn't be forgiven." she spoke in a solemn voice. "He deserved to be killed. If there is a hell, I hope he, and everyone like him, end up burning in the most torturous pits of hell. I'm glad you killed him. Disgusting jerk." Min Ji cursed him. "Enough of the sad talk. What will you do when you get out of here?" "Hmm... I haven't thought about that. Someone was waiting for me, when I was released from prison. I thought he was a creditor who came to collect my dad's debt. But he gave me a business card. That. Weird card. I just came here because I had nowhere else to go. So... I haven't thought about what I'd do if I get out... You know, Ibiza sounds really nice. Let's go there. And then in Tenerife. That sounds like fun." however, Ji-yeong's voice lost her cheerfulness rather quick. "Ah, yeah, right. My mistake." she tsked, realising only one of them could get out. "There's only 5 minutes left... Fine. I'll perform for you. Whether I live, or you live, at least we had a bit of fun, right?" Min Ji sighed, getting up and unzipped her jacket, letting it flow behind her, revealing the bruises on the revealed skin. "I... Hope you'll like it. It's from a drama called The Story of Yanxi Palace. I... Really hope that... We could watch it together. The protagonist kinda reminds me of you." Min Ji took a deep breath, stopping herself from crying.

Min Ji didn't know Chinese, and she was sure she must have butchered a few words here and there, but she learnt the lyrics by heart and, in her head, the song was playing and she let it guide her moves the same as when she performed in her own living room, in her pretty pink outfit and her bejeweled mask.

She was brought back to reality by not only a few shots, but by Ji-yeong's applause as well, and the first thing Min Ji saw was the glee in her eyes and the happy smile on her face. "That was wonderful! I didn't think anyone could dance so nicely while dressed in this ugly track suit, but you proved me wrong! I can't wait to see you in a dress too! I bet you look like a fairy!" "Aha, don't flatter me, Ji-yeong! Besides, I'm sure you'd look even better than me! And dance better! You look like you enjoy dancing too- You must have done some modern dancing in your life, right?" Min Ji shot back quickly, seeing the girl nod enthusiastically. "Yep, you're very right! I love dancing too. I like singing, but my voice is pretty basic, so I can only sing these new pop songs at best. But hey, they're hella fun, so who cares when you're at a party, right?" she laughed, then, as another shot was heard, she looked up and realized there was less than a minute left. "Alrighty then, let's do this before we run outta time." she jumped up, going in front of a wall. "Whoever throws a marble closest to that wall wins. That cool?" "Yeah, I think that's fine. Do you want to go first?" Min Ji asked, only to receive a shake of her head. "Nahh, unnie, you first." despite being reticent, Min Ji threw that marble, and it landed pretty close to the wall. Her heart shrunk.

Then, Ji-yeong went up, she bent a bit to throw the marble and... It... Fell to the ground. Immediately, Min Ji rushed to pick up her marble, dusted it and put it back in her hand. "You can try again, come on. Falling doesn't count." "Haha, alright, alright, sorry." however, even though she threw it again, it barely landed a few inches farther. "Ji-yeong... What the hell are you doing." Min Ji muttered, picking up the marble again and putting it in her hand. "Again." "Unnie... I lost. That's it." Ji-yeong smiled sadly at the girl. "No, you didn't. It fell from your grasp. Go again." Min Ji nudged the girl, only to see her lethargically throwing it away. "...Ji-yeong... Don't... Don't do this. Please. Don't... You can get out. You can live your life. Carefree and happy. You deserve it. You've been through hell and back, you deserve so happiness. And-... And... And... And you're so young and beautiful and smart, you can do anything you want!" Min Ji tried to argue, but the girl merely chuckled and hugged her tightly. "I promised I'd get you out of here. And I am. Just let me lose in my style, okay? This is what I want." Ji-yeong tried to argue in her soft, calm way. "I can't allow you to throw away your life like that for nothing! Get that damn marble and throw it again!" Min Ji cried out, tears streaming down her face like rivers. "Min Ji... I have nothing. Nothing. But you have a future. You, and that old guy you keep talking about... You're sweet together. Make that dream of yours happen. You have a reason to leave this place, and have the brains and means to make it far an be happy. But I don't. You asked me what I'd do once I get out of here, and I've been thinking about that... But no matter how hard I think... I can't find anything. Someone with a good reason to live should be the one to get out of here. That's the right way, unnie. So please don't cry for me. This time we hung out together... It really made me happy. You're my friend. And... I'm happy that you trusted me enough to perform in front of me. And to say that you want to go out and party with me. I loved imagining that. Make sure you leave this place alive. And smile. Be happy. Do anything your heart wants, no matter how reckless or silly it may be." Ji-yeong hugged her tightly. Min Ji froze completely. The only way you'd know she was not a statue was the tears still flowing down.

And so, the time was up.

Ji-yeong rushed to get the two marbles from the ground, put them in her pouch and put it in Min Ji's hand. She dragged the girl to the guard and showed him that the read head won. There weren't many people left on this battlefield, and all Min Ji could do was stare at Ji-yeong as she cried and smiled back at her, the machine gun to her head.

"Thank you, Unnie, for being my friend... And for playing with me... Thank you." she waved her good bye, but Min Ji couldn't accept it. "DON'T KILL HER!" she shrieked so loud and painfully, throwing herself towards her friend, only to be pulled backwards by two guards as she watched her friend being shot dead, all that blood splashing all over her.

A painful cry of despair resounded throughout the place as Min Ji was dragged out of the game zone and back where all the other winners were waiting. As usual, they were guided back to the dormitory. Sangwoo, as shaken up as he was, looked at the trembling, bloody girl and tried to approach her, but she walked past him as if she was a ghost, not seeing anything.

This game must have truly affected her psyche.

He watched as she didn't get bothered by the curly bitch being alive, or her stupid discourse, and when the food was served, she got it and dumped it in his lap so he would eat her share too. His gaze followed her going to, to the bathroom most likely, to wash up all that blood, then, as she returned, she got into the bed farthest away from everyone and covered herself wholly, soft sobs being heard even from the front of the place.

She then had the misfortune of having to hear the discourse of the man who had his wife killed in the marble game, now wanting to terminate it because he couldn't do it anymore, and Sangwoo got pissed off enough to rough him up and tell him he should have died instead, and if they all give up now, it would be disrespectful to all those more than 400 who died already.

Somehow, Min Ji felt a sudden flame of rage bubble inside of her, thinking of having to give up Ji-yeong again, and she got up, the blanket around her shoulders as a cape, and dragged her feet in front of the wailing man.

"If you loved your wife so much, then why isn't she here, with us, but it's you instead, huh? Now you can't do it anymore, but you want us all to give up, just for you? Go ahead and fucking kill yourself, then. You think that's why your wife sacrificed herself for? So you'd go ahead and cry like a little baby and not do anything in her memory? Then, by all means, get a sheet and hang yourself, it's that easy." the hatred and anger in her otherwise low and threatening voice seemed to shock everyone watching, as she was usually so sweet and calm.

Silence took over the place, and Min Ji could only scoff at the weak, cry-baby man, only to hear a deranged laugh coming from the other end of the room. It was Gun-seo, without a doubt. Only he could laugh so sickeningly at such a morbid scene. And clap, nonetheless.

"My, my, Min Ji, I've never seen you so angry in my life! So, beating you up wasn't the way to go, to get a reaction out of you, but going ahead and killing your friends in front of you? Ah, wait, never mind, you don't have any. But hey, I'm sure you enjoyed killing that one, didn't you? How did it go? Did you cheat? Or did you manipulate her into letting you win? Did you--" the more he spoke, the more he approached her, however, he didn't expect his words to get a rise out of her, and he found himself painfully pushed against the metal of the bunk beds, just as he previously did to her. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" she shrieked in his face, before getting a fistful of his hair and throwing him to the ground, crawling on his torso and punching his face. "SHUT THE FUCK UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY, YOU SICK FUCK! DON'T TALK ABOUT HER! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HER! AND YOU THINK YOU'LL GET OUT OF HERE ALIVE, THINK AGAIN, 'CAUSE I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU WITH MY OWN HANDS! DO YOU HEAR ME?! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" she cried out, getting blood over her hands, and it took both Sangwoo and Gi hun prying her away from him, as, on the other side, Deok-su and what was left of the people didn't care enough to save him or fix him up. "Fucking psycho bitch, you deserve everything I did to you! Better sleep with both eyes open, 'cause you won't wake up again otherwise." he spit blood to the ground, walking away as the two man dragged Min Ji away. "Let go of me already. I'm done." she took her arms away from their grip, going to pick up the fallen blanket from the ground and returning to her bed. "Min Ji." she heard Sangwoo's voice and she stopped in her tracks, but didn't look at him. "I'm sorry about what happened." "You killed Ali. I feel more sorry for you. I just got stupidly attached to a girl, that's all. It's my fault. It's my fault. It's all my fault. There's no place for emotions in such a cruel world that punishes everyone whose heart hasn't turned to stone." Min Ji muttered, slowly walking towards her bed and sitting on it, looking at the ground, a few tears falling down her face. "Just two more games, Min Ji. We can do it. We will get out of here together. We can do it. I promised that, didn't I?" he put his arms around her, holding her tightly and playing with her hair. "I'm so scared. I'm so scared, Sangwoo. I don't want to die. I don't want you to die either. But I'm afraid... I'm so afraid that somehow, the cruel fate will have us go against each other, or somehow get either of us killed. I don't want another person I care about to die. I haven't felt close to anyone in so many years...I don't want to lose this feeling. I don't want to be alone anymore. Don't leave, Sangwoo. Don't leave. Please don't die, no matter what or who you are against." she cried in his arms, clinging onto his shirt. He had no idea what he could say anymore. That he knows exactly what she was saying and that he, too, felt the same. Somehow, he was driven and more motivated to get the hell out of there and drag her with him so they will finally be happy and can have a god damn proper life, free of worries and just... Living, damn it. They deserved it. They've been through so much, such torture, such nightmares. They deserve some fucking happiness, alright.

"We will get out of here, Min Ji. We will. No matter what. We will get the hell out of here, get their money and do whatever the hell we want. I promise." he muttered, holding onto her tightly as the curfew came and the lights were taken out. "Pinky promise?" she asked in a weak, shaky voice. "Yes, Min Ji. I pinky promise you, we will get out of here. Successfully."

a consecutive ranking of lovejoy songs (with explanations), from the opinion of a diehard lovejoy fan (aka me) (ft. songs from anvil cat, peewee, and jim jams)

let me know your opinions, and your rankings if you would like! i’m free to discussions and changing my mind about my ranking if you can talk me into it.

this was really hard i love all of their songs, but i had to rank them ahhhh

1. It’s All Futile, It’s All Pointless

this is honestly one of their best songs, with lyrics that hit hard and such a great instrumentations and vocalisations as well. the fact that it’s a rewrite of Wilbur’s old song makes it even better with being able to see the contrast from his first version to this one. it’s an illustration of how things may feel “futile” and “pointless,” but can be okay. its slowly become a comfort song (i will listen to it when my airplane lands when i fly home for breaks to feel less anxious). i could go on for a while about this song.

2. The Fall

ah, The Fall. the crux of screaming into the void about the nature of humanity, especially the rich and powerful. i could also write an essay on this song, with the simple chords and melodic structure at the beginning, the shouting of “fucking scared” in the chorus, and the complete breakdown at the end. a great song to just scream in the car.

3. Sex Sells

Where do I start with Sex Sells? it’s such a great song, and illustrated the true potential of the band on their first album. the more “chill” feel is so good, and i hope they explore the style more in the future. “how’s it feel to be so loved yet so alone” still hits hard after many listens. also a surprisingly fun song to play on the ukulele?

4. Concrete

ohhohoho cöncrëtë. i love the layering of the instruments at the beginning, and the drums in this song are so fun. also wilbur singing “sleep on the concrete floor” is *muah.* another honorable mention of good lyrics is “people on the night bus have to lis.ten. to. you” and the way it’s set musically is so fun. i love the lyrics on this one as well. it’s just so fun and good

5. You’ll Understand When You’re Older

Oh my God this song is so underrated. the focus on the instrumentals, the bridge lyrics of “and you think that it gets better, just you wait until next week, you’re keeping a dark secret, but you’re talking in your sleep” the idea of working so long, but people still saying that you’re not old enough to understand the struggles ahhh it hits hard.

6. One Day

this was my most listened to song on spotify wrapped this year oop- anyway. this is a great song to scream in the car, and i love seeing people’s faces when they hear “stop. cause why’d you have to kill my cat?” my brother started calling it the “killed the cat song”

7. Knee Deep at ATP

Great cover (thank you Los Campesinos for such a great song). It really portrays the calmer vibe that i described in Sex Sells while also keeping that chaotic lovejoy touch. And Wilbur gets to show off vocals!

8. Oh Yeah, You Gonna Cry?

This is such a fun start to Pebblebrain, and does a great job keeping the chaos going by jumping between rhythmic and melodic patterns just quick enough to keep us listeners hooked but not so fast that it’s overwhelming. the little piano riff at the beginning always makes me so excited! it honestly feels like a song you would find at the beginning of a coming of age summer movie.

9. Model Buses

I’m here for the Boris Johnson slander. My absolute favorite part of the song is the bass part on the verses (ash my beloved <3). The beat hits on “you’re just scared of the future” are so good. the fact that all the instruments get a chance to shine in this one is so fun. also the little “wait” before the second chorus. the cut time at the end is cool as well. this is a good song to analyze musically

10. Taunt

the Are you Alright? opening song! Taunt’s fun. I like how quick it moves, but it’s always leaving me wanting more. i can’t get the music video out of my head when i listen to this song, with george just staring into my soul. i also like the quick little riffs throughout the song, and the bass part is cool in this one

11. Perfume

I like Perfume, but i feel like it doesn’t hit as well as the other songs on Pebblebrain. i love that there is use of he/they pronouns, and the vibe that the lyrics seem to be flirting with the person. “you say your ex-boyfriend’s a policeman, i say you need better standards.” the lyrics are good (especially the second verse), but i feel like the song gets slightly repetitive compared to the rest of the songs on the album, which is why it’s so far down

12. Cause for Concern

I’M SO SORRY CAUSE FOR CONCERN IS LAST. It just feels like their weakest song compared to all the rest of them. Musically and lyrically it’s still great! but i just feel like it could have more. it feels repetitive, and idk i just find myself skipping it when i listen to the whole discography more often than not. it’s a nice close in the Are you Alright? story narrative, but it just doesn’t hit the same as the rest of their songs. The little instrumental part in the middle is fun and really illustrates the band’s style! The billards metaphors gives it the vibes of a man getting beat up in an old speakeasy, you know what i mean? anyway, still a fun song!

“mr. stark, i am so sorry, the school closed because some kid set fire to the science lab and i didn’t have time to find a sitter—”

“no, it’s fine, no need to apologize. hey, kid, you wanna sit in the boss’s chair? i’ll let you run the company for the day!” *cue you nodding* “sweet, would you mind that, ms. potts?”

When I read your questions, memories of a 14-year-old-self-Flah came to the surface and that helped me answer your questions. 😁

So, let's go:

What made you start to ship sasusaku?

Ok, I stumbled upon Naruto (classic) a long time ago and the first time I saw Sakura and Sasuke interacting was in the Land of Waves arc.

Two scenes made me fall in love: Sasuke moving in front of Sakura to protect her and Sakura crying over him. I got some star-crossed lovers vibe right there. 😍

When she ran towards his supposed lifeless body, my heart clenched for her. 😭 I was just chanting in my mind "nononono this can't be true, they didn't even begin! It's not fair!" something along those lines.

By the end of that heart-wrenching scene, I just knew they were meant to be together. The misunderstood bad boy needed the soft-ball-of-sunshine good girl beside him. 🥺💕

After that arc, I started watching the anime from the beginning and I was already shipping them without even knowing what shipping was.

But if we are summing up, I would say: the subtle way Sasuke cares about Sakura, always protecting her, and how Sakura cares/worries for him, trying to provide him the warmth and support of a family, sealed the deal for me. 😄

What do you like about both characters?

🍅: Sasuke's loyalty to his family (he was misunderstood, misled and lied to, but all the time he wanted to honor his family). His bluntness (ok, it might hurt to hear the truth sometimes, but many times we need to and I don't know, I feel this doesn't happen as often these days). His way of caring for his precious people (Sasuke cares too much - and not too little how people think - and he doesn't need to parade his feelings to show that. No one needs spectators intruding in those moments. He shows his love through the little things and when/where is most important).

🌸: Sakura's determination! (check that post, it's amazing). Her character development or should I say it, her glow up! (also - confession time here, her pre-teen years were kind of relatable 😳). Her kindness (she's so good!) and intelligence: the scenes where she creates an antidote for Kankuro? 🤯 And she finding Kakashi below in the second bell's test? 🤯 And figuring out things during the fight with Sasori? 🤯 She's a real strategist! And last, but not the least, Sakura never giving up on Sasuke and wanting to save him from his darkness. 💕

What is your 5 favorite sasusaku scenes?

This was so hard 😭 why only five? Why did you do this to me?🤣 After some time, I settled for these 5 scenes:

1. Forest of Death: The moment they squeeze hands and Sakura helps him through the exorbitant pain. The whole sequence from when they are alone until Sakura takes him to somewhere safe pulls at my heartstrings.

2. Land of Waves - I talked about that scene on the top of the post, so yeah. The moment Sasuke realizes someone cares if he dies was significant to me.

3. Back to Forest of Death - Please... Stop...

I'll quote the Databook 1 for this scene, because it says everything:

「呪印の影響で暴走するサスケを身を挺して鎮めるサクラ。サクラのサスケを想う心が、邪な力を包み込む。」(translation by Nobusaki) (Databook 1 RAW can be found here)

"Sakura who [voluntarily (bravely)] calms the rampaging Sasuke under the influence of the cursed seal. Sakura’s heart that thinks of Sasuke devours the malevolent/wicked power."

4. The Bench scene - Because it's a pivoting moment and I'm a sucker for confession scenes. Guys, he could have ignored her and left like fifteen minutes ago, but he's hesitating! Also, his eyes are shadowed/hidden, he's not showing Sakura his feelings because he's resolute in leaving.

And here's when we get that fundamental quote from Databook 2:

「孤独だった自分の存在を愛情という想いで満たしてくれたのがサクラだった。だが、その想いに応えることはやはりできない。サスケは、ただ一言の感謝の言葉を、別れの言葉として告げることしかできなかったのだ。」 “The one who filled his lonely existence [for him] with the emotion called love was Sakura. But, as expected, Sasuke cannot respond to her feelings. Sasuke was only able to leave a single word of thanks as word of parting."

I was going to choose the war scene, featuring that chef's kiss catch and SasuSaku eyesmex for my top 5, but I couldn't because...

5. The Poke - nothing better than Sasuke canoninzing SasuSaku, huh?

omg hi em. okay so i have to be honest with you i definitely have to watch the movie again to like give my full opinion bc i already forgot so much of what has happened. but i LOVED when selena was wearing that red wig and investigated in that club like i GASPED. HELLOOOO !!!! but zoe looked so hot throughout the movie it was so crazy. her selena kyle was so good like i wasnt really vibing with anne hathaway in the dark knight rises but ZOE!!!! she is catwoman!!! she was fantastic!!! i loved whenever nirvana was playing and bruce was looking real moody like!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!! ME TOO!!!!!!! I GET IT!!!!!!!!!! also when he started journaling like JKFHDJKFJ YASS KING GET IT i loved that. and i LOVED that he actually wore the makeup and not like in the nolan triology where christian bale was just magically without any makeup on. when he was wearing his lil sunglasses <3 OH THE CAR CHASE SCENE WAS SO!!!!!!!!! i loved it so much omg it was so cool <3333 also the scene between batman and gordon in the police station where gordon told him how to get out!! loved how jeffrey wright was acting there (also i love him as gordon!!! such a good choice <3) but i gotta say the el rata / la rata thing was so stupid omg like batman is the worlds best detective but cant open a goddamn dictionary in all that time??? S4 Ep40: Fixing Dartz By Not Actually Fixing Dartz

Yo Merry Christmas, I’m quarantined as hell, so I’m just streaming and playing video games until my problems get vaccinated away.

So lets just write about Yugioh because hell a lot didn’t go as planned this year (can you believe my 2020 goal for this blog was to finish ALL OF YUGIOH?) but although my goals were halved and quartered--With this blog I don’t freakin care anymore, and somehow...that’s how it’s one of the few creative bastions I have left standing.

Wild.

I’m so done with the internet, I’m not even updating twitter right now.

But hell yes, lets update the Yugioh blog.

So onward, with the last episode of this season. We last left off with Yami getting devoured by a hate tornado which is just...a lot of 2020 energy. This whole season, in a nutshell is just...2020 energy, honestly. And this tornado is just twitter. It’s just twitter incarnated.

Rather than try to save himself and consequently fix his ghost problem, Yugi has decided to keep himself haunted by fixing Pharaoh’s inner emotional problems. Really is something, isn’t it? To do low key therapy for the ghost that basically...put you in therapy? Yugi can help fix his problems but like...he’s still a mess of problems because of it. Now Yugi shouldn’t walk away, of course, that’s effed up, but it is a little irony there.

Pharaoh, of course, has decided to submit to the hate tornado, and sees it as a manifestation of his own anger and bad vibes.

Isn’t that’s the real problem we have when we have to confront the feelings we don’t want to confront? Where we tend to feel guilt and hate for being upset, which is just sort of a thing humans naturally tend to do--instead of actually working on controlling what you do with those feelings so that way we stop lashing out and setting everyone on fire in the burger restaurant?

Like Pharaoh should be learning to count to 10, not trying to just remove his anger. This has sort of been his problem for a while--he assumes he can just...delete his rage. That’s not a thing. You can’t do that unless you have very specific medication through a doctor, and that’s why he keeps failing at it.

And this goes back to S1 when he “fixed” Kaiba and like nothing really happened. Pharaoh’s decided to wipe himself and like...it’s up to your own interpretation but like...in my book that Pharaoh brand clean cycle does freakin nothing. It gets reversed like constantly.

So Yugi decides to hit up Plan B, which is, honestly? Not a great message. But it’s the anime trope that we keep going back to because it’s the catch-all to make any anime protagonist into the good guy.

Like...

...

.......Yeah I’m gonna talk about it.

this is a trope that is so common it’s sort of ubiquitous with the genre. You gotta have the protagonist give up on their own strength, and be lifted up by their pals at the very last second--it’s like the anime hero’s journey.

But I really don’t like it. I don’t like the power of freindship. I’ll say it.

Because there’s some things you have to handle on your own. And I don’t think it’s a bad thing to have your main character show strength and show character development by doing things by themselves at the last minute. We already know that Pharaoh’s a good pal and believes in his friends--but like...does he believe in himself?

I can’t tell you if he does by how this episode goes, that’s for sure.

The whole point of this tornado is to see Yami discover his own strength and overcome his weaknesses...and yet he still relies on that good ol chestnut, friend powers.

Like last episode I feel like they did this already and it was way better--other people offered their help willingly, then Pharaoh got to have a big ol fight solo in the clouds to prove he was strong on his own as well. We finished the whole season last episode, so what are we accomplishing now other than a last minute secret boss fight?

Why would Yami doubt himself now? It’s weird. Yugi’s right to have mentioned “yo didn’t we figure this all out in desert hell???” because...we did. Yami is retreading old territory.

And that’s a thing that happens when you write, PS, when Yugi was saying “we already did this!” Yugi was reminding the writers of the show “we did this already. Like guys. We did this.” and sometimes when you’re writing, your characters will do that to you, and you should always be paying attention to cues like that.

Anyway, he vanquishes the hate tornado by thinking fondly of all of his buddies, and then the storm that should have been over the Atlantic Ocean, as according to the dub, parted in the sky above California.

GEOGRAPHY, the secret final boss of this season of Yugioh. And they failed. In a big way.

Yugi holds out his hands in real life, and pretends to hold a ghost that isn’t there. Now I want all of you to do this position IRL. Like that. OK. It looks like Yugi is holding onto a pair of ghost boobies.

Meanwhile, actual and very literal ghosts with very real bodies show up and start picking up Dartz and like...

...The ending of Dartz’ storyline is a TRIP! Lets just get into it!

This cursed dog. I can’t stand how this dog is drawn. I hate it so much that I actually love it, and if I saw this in a thrift store I would impulse buy it and hang it over my fireplace mantle in a golden gilded frame.

AHHH????

WHAT????

He electrocuted you with LIGHTNING! He killed your...everyone! He killed EVERYONE!

Also girl, how are you HERE? Like Physically??? I saw you die! TWICE!!

Yugioh is on SOMETHING with this one, and I think that “something” is called “we weren’t allowed to give you a PG-13 sad ending.”

This is just the freakin weirdest thing. We have a character who is worse than Darth Vadar, and this show has pulled so many dark things in it’s history, but it just...

...it can’t punish Dartz at all, and I don’t know what they were thinking.

They have been poetic before--Pegasus got his eyeball gruesomely ripped straight out of his face, nearly got murdered by Bakura, and was not able to resurrect his wife. Noah hella died, had to give up his plan to rule the world and be a real boy, and had to murder his own Dad even, the moment he finally made a bond with his brothers. Marik had to lose all control of his body, live helplessly inside Tea’s bod for an entire season and accept the fact that he murdered his Dad and now has to live on without any of the magic that ever made him powerful in a broken world and a broken family he will never understand.

Dartz though?

If he does get some sort of poetic retribution, it will be off-screen because we don’t have time for it.

And that’s kind of a bummer because this is usually something Yugioh is kinda good at! I enjoy when this show goes dark, this is a great opportunity to do it...and they didn’t.

It was just the wettest fart Yugioh has ever played on me.

Just the wettest. Nice knowing you, Dartz. Glad you were here to murder everyone on Earth and then totes get away with it because we’ll just pretend like the Orichalcos was a totally different person--although it’s not. Because Yami JUST told us that it doesn’t work that way. Yami JUST told us that the Orichalcos was using his own pain and his own hate against him.

It’s not a separate person, it’s the same!

And to suggest that Yami vanquishing that hate tornado somehow cured Dartz of all his sins, is some upper level Jesus stuff that I don’t think this show would normally want to tread on. Straight up. Yami is a pretty poor stand in for Jesus Christ, and I feel I can straight up say that because it’s Christmas.

...what HAPPENED in the writing room with this one? Did they just run out of episodes? There are less episodes this seasons than other seasons have been.

Was it edited for the English version? Because I...kind of doubt they could edit that much to make it that drastically different.

I’m just boggled. Like usually I’m of the opinion to let the writers do whatever they do because I do not know what was going on behind the scenes, and I’m still of the opinion that they did the best of what they could do with the resources they were given.

BUT, this episode just feels...hella sus. I feel like they just had to make an ending. Any ending. Get an ending on there and finish the season before the power goes out and then run away with whatever paycheck you get (because in entertainment--you might not get one).

Seto and Joey made it completely back to the KaibaCopter before Tea was like “I mean it’s been 15 minutes, guys, you really didn’t hear him behind you? You really lost his tiny pitter patter of his little shoes? The little shoes that make a little tinkly noise like a kitty cat’s collar? A little kitty cat collar that he also wears around his neck? His neck that has a golden pyramid held by a tow chain that makes a little clanky clank when it hits his two belts covered in metal rivets that makes a little singsong clippity cloppity noise every time he so much as breathes? He’s a walking talking Bell of Notre Dame, you lost him?”

and Seto was like “Oh damn it, I know he’s the same size as Mokuba, and so I should be really good at not losing this kid but also have you noticed how many times I’ve lost Mokuba???”

Joey just looked into the distant tomb hut and said “......You’re kidding me.” and decided to immediately run back because Joey Wheeler knows what’s up.

Had Joey Wheeler actually made it back to Atlantis, he would have seen Dartz and his entire family hugging it out and would have immediately socked the guy straight in the dick and it would have been a great way to finally give Dartz just one single consequence for murdering everyone on Earth but you know, I did not write this episode.

I’m really glad that in the same episode that Yami called upon the powers of friendship, his friends hella ditched him to vanquish in a watery grave.

This is wild!

Seto’s words were “Good riddance” as the island went down, and you could not tell if he was talking about the island or about Yugi.

That and Kaiba Really Hates Islands. LOVES watching an island go up in smoke (or underwater, in this case). Loves nothing more.

Seto, your powers of friendship were just used to save the world.

Apparently the standard for friendship power is...not much. But they did just make Yami, of all people, do a literal Jesus in Gethsemane so...the bar for morality is just not very high in this anime.

Did the Great Leviathan stitch Weevil Underwood’s body back together or something? This is...

...Yo Weevil are you immortal now? Are you the big bad in S5 that comes out of nowhere and kick’s Bakura’s ass back to the Shadow Realm like Marik in S2? Because I’ll accept that.

I won’t like it, but I’ll accept that.

Yo show that got real dark. Show this is what you should have done to Dartz. I love this sort of dark ending for a rude asshole who is going to try to put his family back together although it’s completely impossible--this would have been a good Dartz ending. But...whatever. It’s fine.

We’ll...let Dartz have his family back, it’s fine.

Meanwhile, in the first actual picture of California that really feels like California, Valon immediately accepts the fact that Mai left him.

This is also a great dark ending for Valon. To accept that the people in your life have moved on and that you, too, must move on, even if it’s alone. This would have been an excellent ending for Dartz.

And then Mai just bounces. She does not seek out Joey Wheeler, because she’s like “I have to fix some stuff, I have some serious problems, and it’s going to take a really long time before I can get over my toxic past.” and just freakin leaves us. Sorry, anyone who was hoping Joey and Mai would smooch at any point, it’s uh...it’s not legal yet.

And TBH I don’t even know if Valon is legal either, and the show decided to not reveal that to us, or allow them to smooch.

And as for Raphael? Uh...

They didn’t bother, I think. I didn’t cap it, at least. But we did get at least one person washed up on a beach.

It would be Kuribo.

I talk about 2020 energy a lot in this season but like...wild 2020 energy here, to be so freakin chill and can I say--delighted--to be stranded on an abandoned island.

The show does not elaborate any more on if the cards are dead or alive, or if the games we are playing are with actual people forced to play these horrible games for us. It’s best that they don’t tell us. Just like Mr Mime. No one wants to know.

Mr Mime as in the Pokemon Mr Mime, PS, I just realized that there is a mime in this universe and he’s just...I don’t really want to know about that guy, either. All mimes honestly, I don’t want to know anything at all about all mimes.

Luckily, for Yugi, Kaiba didn’t fly very far from this island, and so we don’t have to have some sort of weird season cliffhanger where we guess how long Yugi can live off of coconuts (2 hours. he would last 2 hours on this island)

Although it would be such a cliffhanger to wonder what Yugi’s hair would look like after that. the same, right? Like it’s the same amount of grease and nasty stuff? He’d just have his roots growing out?

And there they go--goodbye Dues Ex Machina Cards. Either the show can’t keep you on board because you’re hella broken, or the three dragon warriors died, or retired, or whatever it is when a card is like “I’m done with humanity, please leave me alone and never call me again.”

Did Seto low key just break up with his side piece just now? Tragic.

Remember that time that Yugi was so bouyant he was armpits out of the water in S2? It’s crazy how bouyant Yugi Muto is. Like if someone did one of those anime cross-sections of his anatomy, he needs like 3 or 4 duck shaped pool floaties in there.

Now, full disclosure, I have written the ending to this post 3 times because tumblr keeps deleting this post out of my drafts folder (I shouldn’t be writing this in my drafts folder, being real, it’s been really buggy lately, and I’m gonna have to make a different solution to this) So I’m just...

...gonna end on this note. This exciting note that Bakura is next. Finally, Bakura (JK of course, because apparently Bakura doesn’t show up for half the season. Bro told me this and offered that we should skip that filler and of course I told him that is not the point of this blog and we will be watching all of that gruesome filler piece by piece. Because for someone, out there--that filler is their favorite episode. I don’t know who you are--but get ready for filler.)

Now Yami could just...call up Bakura at any point at his house and make an appointment to end the world...but maybe S5 will go a different direction? We shall see.
