Hello and Welcome!
I've introduced myself here before, but I have quite a few new followers and feel like it's time for an updated masterpost and a better-organized layout for you to navigate.
If you'd like to skip to reading my stuff, here's a link to the Google Site with my published works or you can check out my Master Post here on Tumblr with links to all my published chapters.
This intro is split into 3 parts:
Who on Earth am I?
What the heck is this blog?
What in the world am I working on?
Who am I?
Hi, my name is Eliza (pseudonym), or Elizabeth if you're feeling fancy. I'm an American college student who has an unhealthy attachment to cats, caffeinated beverages, books, and my endless collection of every color of pen imaginable.
I'm an INFJ (4w5), am some type of neurodivergent, chronically ill, and on the Ace spectrum. My favorite subjects besides reading and writing are cultures/sociology, psychology, and history (my infatuation with these topics can bleed into my writing quite often.)
If you are interested, I also started a side blog for my random, non-writing chaos. I am terrible at posting there though…
About this Blog:
This page is dedicated to my random writer comments, my worldbuilding, character posts, and writing updates.
You're welcome to send comments, questions, concerns, or just random tags at any time. I may not get to them immediately, but they are all appreciated.
I'm currently experimenting with a more structured and purposeful post schedule, so bear with me on that while I find the best setup for myself.
I hope to connect with people here, as I have done so far. Social media isn't always my thing, but Tumblr has had me pleasantly surprised.
My Writing Work:
Please note that none of my work displays 18+ content, however, most contain mature themes such as death, grieving, sometimes descriptive violence, abuse, and mental health struggles at some level. All stories/chapters containing potential triggers are marked. If you notice that I missed something, please notify me. I try to balance the weight of these darker themes, so they are not always at the forefront of everything, but please be aware that they are present. Take care of yourselves.
My writing is split into two different categories. All of my work takes place in the same original universe and deal with my fictional, magical humanoid species of Hecathians from their home planet Ariya. I am progressively working on an Encyclopedia of sorts for this fictional world and the characters living in it.
My main project- The Legacy of the Fallen series
Expanded Works- "shorter" complementary series (plural)
Legacy of the Fallen
I'm currently working on Book One: The Cursed (Read Here or Here on Tumblr)
Most of my posts will be centered around this WIP, as the world developed from this story. Most of the characters you'll see posted about are also from here.
Currently: 76k words/????
Genres: Fantasy, Action, Adventure, Drama, and Mystery
Summary
After being driven from their home and countless lives lost among them, the Hecathian people are striving to rebuild what was lost. The Academy, a safe haven and reintroduction to their lost society, seeks other survivors. Annamarie has recently made a fated move with her father, being thrown into a world of discovery, danger, and more mysteries to be uncovered. As she learns more, she begins to question who she can really trust while everything she thought she knew fades into an illusion. Though it starts off following the daily lives of four seemingly average students at a random school, it's quickly revealed that there's more to them that even they may be unaware of. One of these four, Jacob, serves as a bridge to the reality that their true identities had been hidden from them after their parents and families went into hiding thirteen years ago after their people suffered a massacre that ended with millions dead and their world in the hands of their enemies. They are connected with a sanctuary that serves as cultural re-education and emersion for their people, which is ruled by Maishear, Jacob's father. Though this academy is supposed to be safe, it is plagued with political controversy, mysterious disappearances, and a traitor in their midst. The newcomers and Jacob's team are thrown together to face the challenges ahead and the shadows of the past that plague them.
To follow, I have until Book 4 in the planning stages (because I'm chaotic.) Here are the titles for Books 2 & 3:
Tempest
Violet Sky
Expanded Works
I keep getting new ideas for these, so I will update this as more come out/chapters are updated.
Theoretically, these are shorter series, though since I'm incapable of writing actually short stories, we'll see.
I currently have 2 series in the works:
Vixen
Currently: 8700 words/???? (Read Here or Here on Tumblr)
Genres: Fantasy, Drama, Action, Romance, Mystery
Summary
Tells the story of Roselle and members of their team two years before Legacy of the Fallen takes place. Roselle Jakoste is one of the few remaining members of the royal Verairacur family. Now, at fifteen, she finds herself falling for the son of the man that destroyed her family. Meanwhile, a mystery begins to reveal itself as political tension within the academy starts to grow.
Ruin
Currently: 3400 words/???? (Read Here or Here on Tumblr)
Trigger Warning: This whole story is very dark. Death, grief, and uncertainty are very prominent throughout. If this isn't for you or you're not in a good place, please skip this one.
Genres: Fantasy, Action, Dystopia, Tragedy
Summary
Follows various survivors of the Hecathian genocide who eventually find safety and companionship with each other. As their home planet is held under occupation, remaining Hecathians have to fight and hide to survive, while the life they knew crumbles around them.
Coming Soon: Awakened
Genres: Fantasy, Politics, Spy, Action, Drama, Eventual Romance
Currently on Hold- I will return to it though.
Summary
Etesha is a young woman who has grown up within the Yaldaeit political cult. Raised to believe in the extreme ideologies and measures of the group, she has been preparing for her role in their activities for years. She has finally been given a true assignment as an undercover agent within the observance system. In this new position, and seeing society outside of her sheltered community, she begins to question whether she still agrees with what the Yaldaeit does and whether she will carry out her mission or not.
I try to post updates regularly, and usually on weekends. If you're interested in being added to a taglist, please comment on which one, or request to be added on an update.
Disclaimer: Please do not repost my work anywhere without permission. Thanks.
Thank you for all the support on here, and don't be afraid to say hello! I won't bite, I swear.
I hope you enjoy my work and that you love my characters and world as much as I do!

I just invented a sport for this wip. As someone who knows nothing about sports or being an athlete, just know I did my best.
And yes, the characters do play it in their human-except-kinda-technically-animal forms.

This is my second answer to an ask sent by @andromedaexists to a list of questions I put up that could be asked about my WIP - HERE
💡 - What inspired the wip? When/how did you first get the idea?
Over the years, Abriella and her crew have gone through a series of transformations.  Way, way, way back when they were first RP characters at their inceptions the idea was almost a warped fanfiction of Cassandra Claire’s Mortal Instruments series.  There were parts of her world that some friends of mine liked and some parts we hated.  We kept what we liked and scrapped the rest, which quite frankly was a shit ton.  We took the Nephilim back to the origins of the beings, ½ Divine Holy Angel and ½ “other”.  Normally human.  This also brought Demonic Nephilim with it, whose parents would be the Fallen Angels.
There was a whole lot of research that went into the canonical names and orders of angels.  The fall of angels.  The levels and concepts of hell.  Angels from other pantheons and belief systems.  Demons from other pantheons and belief systems. Creatures from every belief system on Earth, past and present, created a few along the way as well. Knitted it all together with some good old Catholicism doctrine and boom…we had the original crew of Sanctuary (what the group was originally called many moons ago)
Abriella already existed as an elemental harnessing the powers of nature, so…a story was written bringing her into the fold of the Nephilim in a way that meshed with all of that.  And now, over a decade later, we have her as the Horseman of Death, Grigori for The Source of All, Princess Royal of Heaven, Queen of Upper Imperium and Lower Caligo, granddaughter of Lucifer, and a pretty kickass bitch.
We came up with the concept between City of Ashes and City of Glass, so the story has been continuous for over 14 years.  Dez, Talon, Cruz, Talia, Olly, and Deacon were written till 2013 by other writers as part of RP.  At that time, due to drama in the RP community on Facebook and another site, they stopped roleplay completely and gave me the characters to continue if I wanted or kill them off.  I am still friends to this day with these people. <3  There have been changes to all of them to make them more my own, but they are, at their heart, much the same as they were lovingly created.  Cruz literally used to be a headache to read as my amazing friend who wrote him is a Shakespearian scholar and literally wrote his speech the same as the King James Bible.  Love him, but I am not that talented, so I have kept some and modernized some of his verbiage to show that he is the oldest living nephilim known and is having problems adjusting to modern terms, which is also demonstrated in other ways.  So, I guess you could say that those six characters are my fanfiction of the original authors, with their gracious permission and approval of all I have and continue to do.
3rd answer to come tomorrow

👀🎨💡 for whichever thing, please?
👀 - A piece of lore you’ve been waiting for an excuse to share
A: I lightly allude to some of this in my first book (in progress), but I’m not sure which future book I’ll be able to really dive into it with, so I’m putting it here.
My pantheon is made up if 6 gods who have shared domain over every aspect of life. As in, 2 rule the air, 2 rule the earth, 2 rule the sea. Also, 2 rule the past, 2 rule the present, 2 rule the future. And they have different pairings for each aspect that they rule over so that their power and influence is constantly being balanced and held in check by each other.
The reason the gods exist and watch over the mortal world and are limited in their interaction and interference is that all of the mortal world’s existence is a tryout for the afterlife. In a decision that was heavily influenced by Jon Bois’ 17776, the after life is where mortals play for all eternity. Who you are and how you act in life determines which of 6 possible teams you can end up on after death. A team that always wins blowouts, a team that always loses blowouts, a team that always wins close games, a team that always loses close games in heartbreaking fashion, or one of the two teams that always have a balanced and mixed bag of results where the final score is not pre-determined. One one of these teams, you are always playing against your close friends and on the other team, you are always playing alongside your close friends.
Basically, I wanted to get crazy with my deities because why not? My world is more interesting this way.
🎨 - What colors or textures do you associate with the wip?
A: I try to have certain colors assigned to specific characters in their themes and imagery. So, Alifras is red and white and gold, Aiith is various shades of green, Grandpa Caleb is gray, etc. But as a whole, I like to imagine the colors of my WIP to be however you would describe the colors and texture of Arcane or Puss in Boots: The Last Wish or Baby Driver. Just bright and definitive and smooth and commanding. If my colors can feel like they’re always in motion and standing out from the background, then I’ve reached my goal.
(And I answered the lightbulb question on an earlier ask.)

it's been a while since i've sat down like this before, since I've allowed myself to just type and type until one blank document turns into another chapter. it's been a while since I've loved writing as much as i used to, and I can't help but hope that i don't take just as long before i write like this again.

Hi and happy valentines day!! I'm your writblr valentine and I hope you're having a lovely day 💜!
I just wanted to say I took a look at your WIP summaries and the vibes are so cool! I would love to hear more about what you're working on right now if you'd like to ramble a bit about it.
Anyway I hope you know you deserve the best in life and if things aren't going great right now, then hang in there, and if they are going great, I'm so happy for you and you deserve so much to be happy 💜
Thank you!
Life is a bit chaotic right now, but I'm taking it as it comes and that seems to be working for me : ).
So all my WIPs and almost everything I write about (for creative pieces at least) all take place in the same universe. My main project is called Legacy of the Fallen and is what inspired me to build this fantasy world around it.
I have chapters 1-14 available to read for free right now and am continuing to update as I write/edit new chapters.
My other projects are based around this same timeframe, basically serving as a "behind the scenes" for a lack of a better phrase. I do have other concepts that I'm looking at expanding on soon though. The possibilities are limitless and I am chaotic so who knows!

Family Dinners - dpxdc
"Holy shit, you're Bruce Wayne!" Danny gaped, jabbing a finger at the man sitting at the head of the table.
The bustling dining room goes silent as everyone turns to look at him.
"Danny, who did you think was going to be here?" Tim asks, disbelief plain in his voice and Danny feels his face flush red.
"Sorry, I, uh, I guess I just never put it together. Tim Drake-Wayne. Wayne Manor. It, uh, makes sense now." He laughs sheepishly and scrubs at his neck before slumping back down into his chair.
"Well," Tim says with an indulgent sigh, "at least I know you're not just friends with me for my connections."
"Yeah, I'm really sorry, I just never thought about it, I guess."
Danny sinks lower as everyone around him laughs. Come to dinner, he said, the food is the best, he said, ignore the family, he said. Danny really wishes he'd listened to Tim and just ignored them—almost as much as he's regretting accepting the offer in the first place—but... he's having dinner with Batman.
Ancients, that's so weird!
The last time he saw Batman was in the future and, suffice it to say, it was not going well. There hadn't really been time for family dinners there.
Wait. Family dinners?
He peers around the table, openly gawking at everyone as it all clicks into place.
"Everything alright, Danny? Now realising who everyone else is?" Tim asks with a roll of his eyes.
"Uh... something like that..." Danny mumbles as everyone laughs again.
From further down the table, the smallest Wayne scoffs and clicks his tongue.
"I thought you said he was smart, Drake?"
"So, you all do it, too, then?" he asks, ignoring the jibe. Danny's only a little bit jealous as he thinks of how much easier they must have it, how much easier it'd be if his family had been on his side, too. "You all work together?"
"Nah," Dick says from across the table with a brilliant grin. "Tim's the only one that works with Bruce, we all have different jobs. I'm a police officer in Bludhaven."
"Disgusting." Danny blurts out without thinking—because seriously, what kind of self-respecting vigilante would also be a police officer?—before clapping a hand over his mouth. "Sorry."
The whole table laughs again, the loudest being the blonde girl a few spaces down from Dick. Look, Danny wasn't really paying attention to names when they were all paraded in front of him. Dick only gets remembered because his name is a joke.
Come on, Danny, recover!
"That's, uh, not what I meant, though."
"Oh?" Dick asks, cocking his head slightly to the side. Is it Danny's imagination or does his smile tense slightly?
"Yeah, I mean like, you know, in costume. It must make it so much easier to have everyone together like this."
"Costume? What do you mean?"
Yeah, Danny's not imagining it, everyone tenses up at that. It's really only now that he's realising that this probably isn't how he should bring up that he knows about their... night time activities. In fact, he probably shouldn't be bringing it up at all.
"Uuhhh..." Danny looks wildly around the table as he continues making his stupid noise. Think, think, think! There must be a way out of this!
"Danny?" Tim asks, looking concerned.
"Oh, Ancients, this isn't how I wanted it to go at all," he mutters, slipping even further into his chair. He's almost on the floor now and he so, so wishes it could just swallow him up.
His real first meeting with Batman was meant to be cool! He had planned to be Phantom, maybe save them from a tight spot, prove his worth as a mysterious and powerful ally as thanks for the help Batman gave him in the future.
"Danny, what are you talking about?" Tim starts tugging on his sleeve in an attempt to pull him back up from his pit of despair.
Eventually, Danny relents and sits up straighter, hiding his face in his hands and whining all the while.
"I'm sorry, I just didn't expect him to be here and it threw me off so now I look stupid and it's so embarrassing!" he wails, flailing his arms wide. "Why wouldn't you warn me that Batman was your adopted dad, Tim? Couldn't you have let me know?"
"I'm sorry, what? Danny are you alright? There's no way Bruce can be Batman, look at him!"
"Yeah," the blonde girl laughs from the bottom of the table, "look at him! That's a wet noodle of a man! Batman can actually do things, B is incapable of pretty much everything."
"Thank you, Stephanie," Bruce sighs, massaging his forehead.
It's... Those are the first words Danny's heard Batman say since everything went down and it's enough to knock him out of his embarrassment.
It's really good to hear his voice again. Especially now, when it's strong and healthy and full of personality—even if that personality is little more than a tired father right now—far better than how it had been, at the end.
Danny sits up, back straight, and grins. He's got this. He remembers it perfectly. Some people count sheep to fall asleep, Danny repeats his mantra to be certain that he'll never forget it.
"Gamma alpha upsilon tau iota mu epsilon, 42, 63, 28, 1 colon 65 dash 9."
Once again, the whole table falls into silence.
"Holy shit..." breathes the other D name (Duke? Danny's pretty sure he's Signal) from opposite Stephanie. "Isn't that...?"
"The time travelling code." The littlest Wayne says stiffly. "We have met in the future?"
"That's not just the time travelling code, Dami." Dick says, looking between Danny and Bruce. "That's the family time travelling code."
Danny's grin freezes in place.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"1 colon 65 dash 9." Dick explains, still flicking between him and Bruce. "It means you've been adopted into the family and we should all treat you as such, no questions asked."
"Tell you what, I'm about to ask a question." Danny says, dumbstruck. "You just told me it was a code to identify time travellers, not anything about being adopted! What the hell, B?"
Bruce looks about as shellshocked as Danny feels.
"We must have been close," he says finally, after opening and closing his mouth like a fish out of water a few times.
"No! Not that close!" Danny reels back, taking a deep breath ready to refute it all, but... "Well, I mean, you found me when I first got stuck, and you helped me get better despite being... And then we fought together against the, uh, bad guy, before he, um, he... before you couldn't."
An uncomfortable beat passes while they all pick up on what Danny tried so hard not to say.
"So, you're not from the future, then, you travelled there and came back?" Tim asks, breaking the tension and leaning forward with a glint in his eye.
"Yeah, it was a whole end of the world thing, but don't worry about it," Danny says with a hand wave, "It's all kosher now, won't ever happen."
"What did happen?"
"Seriously, don't worry about it, we cool."
"How long in the future was it?"
"About ten years? You were pretty spry for an old man, B," Danny laughs, wishing they'd get off the topic of what happened and get back to the adoption bit.
Everyone shares degrees of a cautious smile as they relax out of the shock, and Dick—whose grin is the biggest—says, "No wonder you got the family code, you're already riffing on him like one of us. How long were you there for?"
"A week, before I managed to get back to my present and stop him then."
"A week? Jeez, B, that has to set some kind of record, seriously."
"Oh!" Danny says, sitting bolt upright and blinking in surprise before pointing at Dick and bouncing in his seat. "You're Nightwing!"
"What?"
"That's exactly what Nightwing said when Batman told me the code! Makes so much more sense now."
Dick laughs and claps his hands, delighted.
"You were not formally adopted?" The grumpy small one—Dami?—asks, his face pinched.
"I didn't even know I was informally adopted."
"And your parents? Are they alive or dead?"
"Damian, stop—"
"They were dead in the future, but they're alive now." Danny says, looking down. He fiddles with the tablecloth, twisting the fabric around his fingers as he fights down the pang of sadness that he always feels when he thinks of them now. He forces a bright smile on his face and hopes it doesn’t look too strained. "I just, uh, can't talk to them much, anymore."
"Damian," Dick warns, "1 colon 65 dash 9. Treat them as family, no questions asked."
"This is Damian treating him as family, the little turd has no manners." Tim scoffs, rolling his eyes, but he gently bumps shoulders with Danny to knock him out of his funk. Danny can't help but send him a watery smile.
"I have the most exemplary manners, Drake, unlike some people." Damian spits, crossing his arms with a pout. "I was merely ascertaining his status to see how he could possibly fit into the family."
"I know this is all a bit sudden, Danny," Bruce smiles, ignoring Damian and reaching out to lay a warm hand on his arm, "for all of us. But if I felt strongly enough to give you that code after spending a week with you in the future, then you are more than welcome in this family, if you so choose it. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we'd like to get to know you a bit more."
"I know a threat when I hear it, Bruce." Danny snorts. "But, yeah, I get it. I'm sorry this is all so weird, it really wasn't how I wanted to find you again, but... I'm glad I did."
"So are we, Danny." Dick says, with a warm smile. "And formally or not, 1 colon 65 dash 9 means you're family. Welcome to the fun house! No take backs or refunds, sorry. You're stuck with us."

Fantasy WIP Ask
My apologies, @ceph-the-ghost-writer, for the delay in getting back to this, but life got in the way. I've finally been able to answer this for you.
Unicorn- What is something you would want to write more about?
I wish I could get more into the dynamic of the core group and the magic that they can wield.  I’m hoping to get everything to a place where I can do another battle sequence.  I do love doing a battle sequence because they are fun to write and they show how truly powerful and versatile all of the characters are.  While the war with the Princes has been mentioned, I haven’t had a good fight with one in a while.
Each of the Horsemen have powers that are specific to them that correspond to their designation.  Then there are Abriella’s guards, the angels, Talon, and her friends.  When they are put into action, there is almost a grace to a battle that makes it kind of an elegant dance with violence thrown in.
I’ve been posting the battle with the pixies that I wrote back in 2016 and it’s made me think about the battle scenes and how magic was integral in them, but it also showed how they had to have fighting prowess as well.  I’m still laying the groundwork in Imperium, but I do hope to someday get back to showing the confrontations.  There are now enough enemies to have more than a few, on top of any normal skirmishes.
When writing those scenes, there is a lot more planning and choreography than anything else I write.  I don’t think I’ve rewritten anything more than the pixie storyline.  The emotions are stronger, the action has to carry itself, and you want the reader immersed, so you’re literally painting it for them with words. It is intense, but I love it!
