CHAN

absolutely the least subtle of the group

sure the rest of skz knows that he's seeing someone but they respect that he hasn't brought you around the chaos yet

it's not until he name drops you when half asleep do the rest of the boys start teasing him

instantly regrets speaking and tries to bury himself in the couch to hide from the jokes

he'll bring it up to you eventually, almost nervously

"so i was thinking, it's time you met the other's" and you're supportive of the idea. only ever wanted to do things at his pace

you can't hide that you're just as nervous to meet them because if they don't like you what's to say that won't stop the relationship?

thankfully they like you and are welcoming to you when you come by for dinner

seungmin jokingly calls you "mom" one day and now they won't stop with the parent jokes

next step is introducing you to the world but the boys are protective and help keep your relationship private

(they go to ridiculous lengths to make this happen and at one point you have to convince them that JYP knows about you and no one is breaking rules, just that you want to stay out of the public eye for now while you can)

MINHO

you were more nervous meeting his cats (who love you by the way and you get daily pictures of the three from his parents)

oh yeah, you met his parents too and they loved you

he wasn't reluctant to introduce you to skz but he wasn't making it happen fast either. "the longer i can keep you to myself, the better" was always his excuse and you don't argue because it's true

stay ends up learning about you first (by accident) when you're visiting his parents and he posts a photo of you cuddled asleep with the cats

he did it without thinking, just captioning it something vague and cute on the official instagram

chan takes it down quickly but not fast enough and there are already screenshots

you end up meeting the rest of them through video call when chan calls minho to tell him what happened

once it's clear you're not upset at all, you're invited (read: demanded) to the dorms to meet the rest of them when the break is over

minho pretends to grumble that his perfect secret is blown and that he's going to have to share you now because they'll all love you

spoiler alert: he was right

CHANGBIN

i don't think this man knows the meaning of subtle or private if a dictionary was thrown at him

the second you two make anything official he's asking you to come by the dorms and hang out, to come with him to the gym when he's home to spend more time with him

he can't get enough of being around you and that translates to the rest of skz knowing about you pretty early on

the hard part is keeping your relationship private from people outside of the group

he has almost name dropped you so many times during interviews or tours that it's becoming a running joke among the boys who is on "binnie's big mouth duty" that night

it takes the whole group to keep him from saying something that would give you two away

HYUNJIN

while chan and changbin might be the least subtle, hyunjin is easy to tell something has changed

he's singing certain songs with more energy

his personal instagram posts are very boyfriend coded but he doesn't really say or do anything specific

there's a lot of speculation that he might be seeing someone

you're actually the one to blow it

you were just going to drop something off in the dorm while everyone was at practice (he'd cleared it with security and you had your own code specifically for visits without him)

what you didn't expect was han standing in the kitchen half dressed and a tooth brush in his mouth

he screamed, you screamed, he screamed again, security came to the rescue

you're trying to explain who you are until you pull out your phone and call your boyfriend

"han is here and i scared him and now security is kicking me out i just wanted to leave you a present on your bed im so sorry"

you have to switch to video call to prove that you're talking to hyunjin and that yes, you're his s/o and allowed to be there so security lets you back in with apologies

safe to say you don't do the surprise visits in case you give jisung another heart attack

JISUNG

when i say this boy was stressed about it, he was stressed out by you meeting his friends

you had teased him endlessly about how his true soulmate is minho and he's kind of scared that once you meet them you'll think you're not good enough and leave him

so it takes a lot of talks to get him okay with introducing his favorite person in the world to them

you suggest that instead of meeting them all at once to do it one-by-one in whatever order is the most comfortable with him

which makes you wonder if you're going to meet minho first or last

you're surprised however when you meet him first and ji is anxious the whole time

until both you and minho reassure him that it's okay and that because you and him love jisung that why wouldn't they get along

and you do (so much that minho is almost your bff) which is a relief to him

you end up meeting chan and changbin last which you realize is because of how much he really respects their opinions

he's still a little anxious sometimes when you hang out with the whole of skz at once, fearing that the chaos will chase you off but he realizes he has nothing to worry about when you feed that chaos

FELIX

you two made a whole plan of how to introduce you to the rest of the guys

mostly because you wanted it to go perfectly even if he assured you it would no matter what

he helps you get into the dorms right after everyone has left so you can set up snacks and games to have a game night and get to know everyone

he was supposed to be the first one through the door so when you almost throw yourself at changbin instead of your boyfriend you're mortified

they don't let you live that down but it was an effective way to break the ice and it gets everyone laughing right away

the small hiccup passed, you're trying to impress the others as much as you can because you know they mean so much to felix

chan eventually gets you alone in the kitchen to ask if you're okay and you confess in one breath how anxious you are for them to like you

chan assures you that no one could hate you, you're basically felix in another person and they can all see how he looks at you

another situation where the boys are super protective of you two and your privacy, helping to keep you out of public eye as much as possible

SEUNGMIN

literally no one knew this man was seeing anyone until you just showed up to the dorm one day?

truly one of those types who has the private life thing down and while he shares most of his life with skz, he hasn't ever shared your existence with them

that was an agreement you both came to when things were getting serious and you two like having this whole separate life with each other away from everyone else

they're all confused who he's invited to dinner (he's been so picky about the foods and made sure that only your favorites are made)

truly no one knew about you at all, he wasn't any different but when you're around there is a whole other side of seungmin that the boys are shocked by

until you roast him just as hard as he does the others and oh now they see why you two are perfect for each other

they're not really convinced you two are together until you kiss him goodnight at the door and when he turns around he's so pink in the face and biting his lips to keep from smiling

you two are probably the only ones that are able to keep your relationship out of the public eye for so long until seungmin drops one day that he's a dad?????

JEONGIN

he loves teasing about your existence to the others

like you're aware of what he's doing and you think it's funny

"oh just texting my s/o" like the most casual sentence ever that leaves everyone just looking around confused

never once says your name but will bring you up anytime it's natural

he does this so much and it's so normal that he does it on stage during their unscripted part and it takes too long to realize what happened

seungmin realizes first and starts laughing, telling the others while jeongin realizes what he did

you two have talked about revealing your relationship for a long time but the teasing of it was too much fun

so you end up being introduced to skz at the same time that stay learns about you

(you were backstage at the show with the staff. after clearing the idea with staff, you're dragged out on stage hand-in-hand with jeongin)

to say the boys flip when they realize it's you is ridiculous because you've been on so many schedules and shows that they never realized you were right under their nose

that was part of the fun of it to you two but even with that part over you two will still find ways to tease the members together

I know this is weird but it does happen -

So you know how some people have animals? How would skz react to the animals staring at him when they have sex with their with girlfriend?

My dog actually would get aggressive and I had to put him away for my ex (should've known my ex was no good from that 😂) but yes my dog is protective of me.

okay so this has KILLED ME 😂 y'all think about the most specific stuff, i'm telling you. but i love it omg. i'll use examples of the members' animals when i know them, and if not, i'll do a broad answer. this is just based on intuition:

• chan: is definitely putting berry out. or any pet. not because he's necessarily weirded out by it, but out of respect for them 😂 he doesn't want them to have to see all that.

• minho: minho also probably doesn't want his lil kitties to watch, so would prob lock them out lol. BUT i think if things were hot and heavy, he'd probably just tell them he was sorry and to look away.

• changbin: binnie is a toss up for me. i'm gonna go with, like minho, he'd put them out if he knew something was about to go down, but if not, i don't think he'd ruin the moment to move them.

• hyunjin: if it's kkami, i think he's putting him out bc what if he just runs up into y'all and then you squish him and he dies? he's literally the size of a large rat, so it'd be bound to happen. if it was ANOTHER animal though, i don't think he'd even think about it nor would he give a fuck.

• hannie: han is taking them somewhere else. idk why, but i could see him being fixated on getting them out before you do anything. a lot like chan, he doesn't want bbama's precious eyes to have to see him like that.

• felix: idk why but i don't think he'd care if a cat was in there, but i do think he'd care about a dog. i can't even explain this one. it's just the vibes.

• seungmin: doesn't give two shits. he will fuck you anywhere in front of anything. so what?

• innie: baby man bread is probablyyyy gonna move them out of the room too. moreso that he feels uncomfy with it than thinking about the pet necessarily

every time he does a channie's room, without fail he will mention you

and when he does, he's got this dreamy look in his eyes and an adoring tone in his voice

of course, he likes talking about all of the members. but he spends more time dwelling on you without even realising it

it is only when stays comment 'you've been talking about y/n for a long time, chan' that he gets a bit flustered and shakes his head, apologising and smiling bashfully

minho

minho teases you the most but is also the softest with you

it's a weird mix but that's just how lee know rolls!

he feels you understand him better than anyone else and that brings you guys closer to him

you have an unspoken understanding with one another. a simple glance across the room is enough communication for you both to feel reassured

he always has your back, and he knows he can trust you to do the same

that's why he feels he can be vulnerable with you, despite his avoidance of doing so,

denies he likes you

but smiles like an idiot when your name is even so much as mentioned in a conversation

and he praises you A LOT. whether you're there or not, he's always got something nice to say about you

he likes being your workout partner

mainly so he can show off his glorious arms and make you flustered

because, as much as he tries to deny it, he can't help but feel flustered by even the smallest things you do

hyunjin

he feels like you're the only one who truly understands him

he's a bit of a mystery to many. as much as he is close with the other members, he feels that he has a special connection with you

and hyunjin thrives on deep connections with people. it's not a usual affair for someone to come into his life and completely embrace who he is, flaws and imperfections as well as the good stuff.

so his feelings naturally grow because of this

being the emotional artist he is he channels his feelings through his artform in order to understand them. which means... a lot of painting of you. and he's embarrassed by how much you linger on his mind when he's painting but your face is all he sees.

he's pretty much putty in your hands tbh. like he is chill and casual with you but at the same time would do absolutely anything for you it's crazy

he's very mr. darcy about this whole scenario, really

will be quite cold or reserved near you, just so he can try and figure out his feelings by himself

doesn't ask for any help

you end up confronting him for being so cold around you which is not very hard to notice, considering he used to be so close with you before

and then he feels like an asshole and just ends up confessing to you anyways

jeongin

he's a shy bean

but has been getting better and better at hiding his shyness, and is pretty chill for the most part

can't help but feel his cheeks heat up when you go near him

i mean... stray kids in general is quite a clingy group, so cuddling is something unusual for any of you

but as much as jeongin pushes everyone's affection away, he doesn't put up as much of a fight when you're concerned

which you feel quite honoured about!

❍ ‗ Jealousy Headcanons (SKZ)‗ ❍

Pairings : Stray Kids x gn reader

Genre/warnings : Mentions of jealousy, might get a little toxic, sprinkles on fluff because we love a happy ending, not nsfw but it's suggestive in a few bits.

Summary : How, why and when the Stray Kids get jealous. Not a ranking.

Chan ‗ ❍

I feel like Chan would generally be quite chill, simply because he's someone who doesn't like to hang out with toxic people, therefore would try to avoid issues from the start.

But while with some other members, fo example, the reason would be their good/non conflicting nature (which it is, for sure), I low-key think that in Chan's case could be because he's actually quite aware that when he gets mad/ annoyed with something, he's not gonna let it go easily.

He also wants to focus as much as possible on the positive and wholesome aspects of a relationship, but could unfortunately, when the time comes to have an argument, may be showing his worst self. Someone that he also hates and would like to keep locked away.

These situations wouldn't come up in relation to jealousy though, unless the relationship itself was toxic. In that case he'd either end things pretty quickly or spend a lot of time being upset and arguing, depending on how strong your bond is by that time. In the second case I think things would end up either very coldly or very messily.

Again, I feel like though he might get insecure at times, his reasons wouldn't be tied to any other person except himself.

He doesn't give a fuck about random people's opinions, but he cares about yours. Which is why feeling like he isn't doing his absolute best for you would be the worst.

For example, if a coworker or a friend was kind enough to make you a surprise/gift/bring you food to cheer you up, he'd feel upset that he didn't think about it first.

He'd start overthinking and doubting himself, maybe beating himself up over the fact that you haven't been on many dates lately or he's been too caught up in work.

He'd also probably go quiet because he feels bad,but you would catch up quickly and eventually reassure him and work things out.

If you did happen to get a little jealous (a normal amount I guess?) he would make sure to talk it out and understand what made you upset. Communication is fundamental and he knows it, even though sometimes he can't deliver quite well as he would like. He would always end up apologizing, though.

Now, about the kinky part, I do think that he would be into being a little possessive. Mostly because he's just so in love and attracted to you that the thought of other people even thinking of 'getting a piece' would drive him mad. Don't worry, he's gonna let it all out and remind you exactly who gets to make you feel good.

If you did that to him, he would find it extremely hot and amusing. He likes the fact that you're as desperate for him as he is for you, and would be more than willing to let you prove it to him however you wanted.

Minho ‗ ❍

Minho is quite similar to Seungmin I think, but with a sprinkle of Chan in the middle. He probably wouldn't stand a toxic partner, but I feel like he'd be more into it kink wise.

He seems like a pretty confident person, but overall I think that his own security would come from the fact that he wouldn't be with you if he didn't fully trusted you and respected you from the start.

I could see him getting a little possessive when he saw/felt other people being obvious with eyeing you or flirting. It would be more a question of pride than anything, though.

'Yeah, you like what you see? I fucking bet, too bad it's mine' or some shit like that. He'd really get off on you also being into it. I'd say that he would find it amusing when someone tried to flirt with you, because he knew you are his and would never betray him. He'd almost find it funny to see the disappointment on their faces.

He'd also appreciate you making some similar remarks, but accuse him of actually cheating or betraying you in some way and you lost him. You should know better, you should know HIM better.

He can play around a lot but when things get serious or too much into the emotional aspect then he'll take it very seriously, too.

Again, he wouldn't be with someone that he doesn't 100% trust or that wouldn't trust him, so it would come as an unwelcomed surprise and probably have a big fight over it before he dumps your ass.

Absolutely no time to waste on problematic behavior, especially within a relationship that should be his safe place. It would also leave him quite hurt and overthink it a lot, even if he wasn't in the wrong.

Changbin ‗ ❍

This man doesn't have a single bad bone in his body. That's why he would absolutely despise stuff like jealousy, but he is human too and sometimes humans do get a little into their heads.

His jealousy would come from either lack of attention (in his regards) or 'too much' attention (from other people to you). For Changbin it would never be THAT serious regardless, truly. He's a little silly so could very well just be jealous, mostly in a humorous way, of you for example petting and praising a dog.

He'd pout and go like 'What about me :(' and make you shower him with kisses and attention. That's truly the most he'd go in terms of being jealous of someone or something. He just really wants you to himself, okay?

When other people seem to be giving you 'too much attention' (which realistically is never, unless it's unwanted), it means that he just wishes that he did it first or more often. For example, if a friend bought you a specific thing that you've been wanting for a long time. He'd be really happy to see you happy, but low-key wished that he was the one who gave it to you, instead.

Overall unless it's something that could directly impact you in any way, he doesn't care. If a dude at the bar was being an asshole he wouldn't get jealous, he'd straight up fight (for you).

If you got jealous of him though, depending on the situations and the dynamic of your relationship I think that he'd either find it kinda cute that you wanted him for yourself (and make sure to shower you with attention). On the other hand, if the jealousy came from a more problematic mindset, he simply wouldn't put up with it and would be quite annoyed that you even implied about infidelity.

I feel like the whole 'You're mine' thing could potentially be a turn on in the bedroom but to a limited extent. He seems like the kind of guy that would lean into the more wholesome aspect of the relationship and avoid problematic feelings, even if it's just to mess around in private.

Hyunjin ‗ ❍

The thing about Hyunjin, is that he's a hopeless romantic. This is both a blessing and a curse, I think.

One one hand, you would expect him to have quite high standards for both himself and his partner, meaning that if he decides to be with someone they 100% have to have a similar mindset.

Between all the art, music, poetry, cinema and such, I feel like he would spend a lot of times just thinking and fantasizing about the things that he has seen/read/heard, and would probably end up creating a whole new idea of love in his mind.

Which, again, could be a blessing because the chances of him purposefully hurting you or cheating are very low. But, at the same time, would maybe end up reading too much into things or situations and end up disappointed/upset, even when he doesn't have reason to be.

He essentially could very well take a grain of salt and make it into a whole ocean. He'd also be pretty easy to fix things with I think, because he seems very direct. He's either the type to blurt out everything at once or be so overdramatically upset that you couldn't help but ask what was wrong.

Hyunjin wouldn't stand toxic or overly possessive behavior, I think. He'd end up having a big argument and break up pretty quickly if the relationship was fresh, but could try to 'gaslight' himself into thinking that it's just because you love him too much, until everything inevitably goes to hell (and you'd have a messy breakup). Would 100% cry for days on end and let it out through art (all kinds).

I have to admit though, that I don't think that he would be completely against a little jealousy. Again, he's a romantic (a little delulu, if you will) and would probably like a bit of the angst/teasing that comes with possessiveness/jealousy.

Would 100% do some movie-like stuff like come up to you and kiss you passionately in front of a person that was flirting/eyeing you up and down a little too much, just to prove the point.

Would also probably enjoy you doing the same (still a normal amount, I mean). This applies to the bedroom too, for sure. The words 'I'm yours/you're mine' are probably in a whole special chapter of his personal romance mind-book.

Jisung ‗ ❍

Yes, he would get jealous. To an extent. He's very sweet and likes to have fun and play around a lot, which is why I feel like this wouldn't show as much if he was in a healthy relationship, maybe with someone who is calmer than him.

In that case I think that the occasional jealousy would come mainly from him wanting to be the very best version of himself for you, and seeing you interact with people that seem to be able to give you something 'better than him', would upset him.

He would definitely bottle it up and either wait until you notice or explode in a random moment of vulnerability. He'd feel so bad afterwards. Why would it be you fault if he was not being enough for you?

I also feel like these intrusive thoughts and overthinking would never fully go away, but he'd try to tell himself to at least trust you and the loving words that you tell him. He tells himself that if you're still with him, there must be something that he's doing right at the end of the day.

If he happened to be caught up with a more jealous/obsessive person though, it would get SO messy. He can be a hot head sometimes, or so we've heard, so of course if you put two hot heads together what do you get? A big mess.

I feel like sometimes him being so much in his own head could make him seriously question his actions, especially if someone else is pointing them out to him.

I think that an obsessive behavior from a partner would be an absolute deal breaker, but unfortunately it'd depend on how deep he is into the relationship.

If you were at the early stages, then he'd have a way clearer mind to end things. But if maybe this had been going on for a while or he was truly into you, it would be a lot harder for him to deal with it in a healthy way. You would end up arguing A LOT and probably be toxic as hell with each other.

That being said, I think that he wouldn't necessarily have a thing/kinks related to this type of behaviors, but angry/make up sex would 100% be a thing. In that case, I'd expect him to go a little crazy with it.

Felix ‗ ❍

Felix seems to have a similar vibe to Jeongin, I think. He'd try as much as possible to avoid any type of uncomfortable/bad dynamics in a relationship.

For this to happen, though, he would have to be with someone that matches his vibe and that he could trust completely.

I don't think that there are things or situations that could get him actually jealous per se, but he could be feeling a little insecure in very random moments.

Like a casual comment on another person that you may find attractive and doesn't share some of his personality traits or features. Or maybe not as much as he'd like, which means that he'll think that's also what you would like, so he'd feel like he's not enough.

He would tend to get a little into his own head in these situations, which means that it would be up to you to actually understand if something was wrong. He'd eventually talk it out and forget pretty quickly about whatever the problem was, with the right amount of praise and affection.

I think Felix would be really turned off with a partner that would get overly jealous or possessive, especially if unjustified. BUT, I wouldn't rule out him actually being a little into it either.

For example if he was getting his make up or hair done and you'd say something like 'I wish that was my job' or something similar to tease him. I feel like he would find it amusing and genuinely boost his confidence, since of course he loves you and wants you to want him, too.

Could see him play around with it in the bedroom a little, especially to tease you. Careful or he might start purring if you'd go with something along the lines of 'The prettiest boy, and it's mine'

Seungmin ‗ ❍

He seems to be a quite cynical person. And can be a little insecure at times. Put these together, and you'll have a pretty emotionally unavailable man (sometimes).

The two things that could get Seungmin jealous are self doubt and possessiveness. He's someone who will love with all his heart, but that could scare him sometimes.

He would almost be afraid of loving too much and feeding into a 'delusion' (hence all the 'I don't believe in forever' stuff), that if broken, would absolutely crush him. He'd mostly blame/get mad at himself for allowing his heart to take over his mind.

He'd probably be quite afraid of not being enough > get embarrassed and mad at himself > shut you out because he's way too much in his own head. It would take some cooling off and some overthinking before he'd eventually even listen to you.

He's also someone who values actions way more than words, and this particular mindset would be useful whenever he's feeling a little jealous or possessive. It wouldn't be that easy to get him riled up, and he'd also probably not really act on it either. He gives off a petty/cold shoulder type of vibe more than an outburst.

Any type of jealousy would eventually be born from his own insecurity, not from him not trusting you. These situations would be fixed pretty quickly as soon as you'd manage to get him out of his head, whether it is from some sort of verbal reassurance or a physical action.

For example a hand hold at the right moment, including him in conversations, a random word of praise, a sweet phrase. On the other hand, this jealousy could very well be taken out in the bedroom too, I think. Would kinda get off on the whole 'I'm yours/you're mine' thing.

In general unless if you were are a pretty obsessive person yourself, he wouldn't give you reasons to get jealous. He seems pretty shy and quite careful with getting too comfortable, especially with strangers. He'd probably reflect on himself and eventually either work it out or be a deal breaker to him.

Jeongin ‗ ❍

Jeongin also seems like a person that wouldn't like the idea of jealousy or in general to deal with negative feelings.

He can get insecure sometimes but I feel like he'd end up making the problem about himself and wouldn't get 'triggered' by jealousy in regards of another person.

The only times in which he could get slightly annoyed is seeing you have fun with someone else that isn't him simply because he wants to be the one to make you happy all the time.

Jeongin really does look like the kind of guy who is just chill. If there aren't any issues within your relationship, he's not gonna be the first to make them. I also think that he wouldn't overthink on these type of things. If he decides to be with you in the first place it means that he trusts you and you probably have a similar mindset.

That's why I think that if you ever ended up being jealous over him, it would come as a surprise and not necessarily a good one. Of course it's different if you're joking, but he still wouldn't put up with it for long. I truly just feel like he hates the concept.

If he was the accused one, at first he'd try to talk it out and understand what made you react like that, and eventually apologize to make sure that he never does it again. But if your accusations came out to be meaningless and it was you being obsessive, he'd probably end the whole relationship. Straight up.

Chan was strong, but Jeongin was also strong, especially mid rut. It would take both their strengths combined to stop Jeongin if it came down to it.

It was four hours later when Jeongin woke up, shaking you awake. "Y/N.." he says as softly as possible. You grumble before your eyes flutter open. "Innie, what time is it?" "Shit he couldn't make it through the night." Chan was working on something at his desk, but Minho looked like he was actually sleeping before you came in. "You don't make it through the night either. Your rut comes at approximately 12 everytime." Minho says, drowsy from sleep but following Chan and you back. Chan blushes "don't just be exposing me," he whines.

Upon entering the room, you all are surrounded by the spiking scent of red wine. Jeongin, who was still in the nest, immediately growled at Chan. Jeongin grabs you and Minho pulling you both into his nest. Minho yelps, not expecting the possessiveness of Jeongin over him.

"Innie it's okay. It's just hyung and I. We are here for you." Minho presses a kiss to his cheek, but Jeongin is not letting Minho out of his grip.

"I don't think you're getting away babe. Just try to appease his alpha side for now. We are all mates." Chan suggests. He has no problems with Jeongin spending his rut with the two omegas. Hopefully, it drains his energy quicker.

You had been starving apparently. Jeongin just waited for Chan to return with water as he kissed over your face, then, all over Minho's as well.

"You owe me a knot as well, alpha," Minho says casually. Jeongin looked shocked and the blush on his face made you both laugh. It was going to be a long night.

taeyong- you were surprised to find out that despite being so busy and having to worry about 20+ “kids” of his own, taeyong is really good about texting and checking in on you. not only with basics like, “did you eat today? drink your water? take your vitamins?” but he spends a lot of time away from you and he doesn’t want you to get anxious or worry about his feelings towards you. he never assumes that his actions are speaking louder than his words when a lot of the time you struggle to interpret the feeling behind actions anyways. he’s very forthcoming with how he feels about you and will often just tell you he’s been thinking about you and misses you even when he’s been gone for just hours. (which like why… you just left how do you miss me?? 😂😂)

taeil- the patience on this man is surprising. something that can be difficult for allistics to deal with is when autistic people get stuck on something in their head or just stuck in a mindset in general. taeil is very calm when explaining things to you as many times as you need to get on the different train of thought. he does his best to let you work through whatever it is that has you stuck. when it’s a difficult or dangerous mindset that your brain has you trapped in, he’s there for whatever you need and is great at reassuring you that everything is ok.

johnny- johnny is really good under stress. he’s steady as a rock and it comes in handy in stressful situations which you can’t really handle all that much. you feel all the intense energy and it usually gets loud so it immediately triggers a meltdown. he’s just really good in any type of meltdown situation, whether it builds from the day and something small makes you snap or you’re relatively fine but something intense sets it off. he makes sure you have your headphones on and holds you tight to him. also talking you through the post meltdown guilt after bc it’s so real 😩

yuta- he LOVES hearing about all your special interests. he loves when you like sit and fidget with something and just ramble away about whatever it is you know literally everything about. he also loves to take you places where you can experience your special interest in a deeper way. i.e. special museums or experiences. even if he has no interest in the topic whatsoever, he just loves that you love it.

doyoung- he’s a very affectionate person but he’s very respectful and understanding which makes him perfect for you since you don’t like to be touched. he always asks for permission before touching you in any way first, even if it’s a small gesture like wiping your face when you’re eating (bc he just does that for people anyways). although at first when you rejected a hug from him, he was a little hurt and confused but did his best not to show it. once you explained it though, he was much more aware of his actions and if he needs a hug he’ll find one of the boys.

jaehyun- this man knows the importance of a safe space not just emotionally in your relationship together but also physically like in your shared home. he worked really hard to make sure the lights weren’t too much, none of the blankets and furniture felt weird, all the smells in the house were mild and pleasant, safe foods always stocked, he even went as far to soundproof the bedroom so outside noise isn’t an issue. he also has lots of fidgets around the house and on his person for when you need to stim.

jungwoo- similar to taeyong but in a different sense, hear me out. he knows how overwhelmed you get when you have to be around more people and especially people you’re not used to. it can kinda feel like you’re a sim without someone at the controller. you walk in the room of people and immediately feel like it’s too much and not do basic things that most people do easily. your default is just to stand at the edge of the room awkwardly, totally unsure of how to function. people may ask, “are you hungry? can i get you a drink? you can sit here if you want!” and you’ll deny everything despite being hungry, thirsty, or needing to sit. playing the “human part” can get so confusing when you’re overwhelmed and you may feel like your basic needs are burdensome to others even when it’s literally a party and every one is eating, drinking, and relaxing. so jungwoo is always at your side with his hand in yours to reassure you. he feels like a safer person you can say your needs too without feeling like a burden. he’s always so sweet and patient with you to make sure you get everything you want.

mark- mark pays close attention to the sounds in the room. it’s something he never thought much about before he met you but when you explained it to him, it actually made a lot of sense to him. he always keeps you close by in case of a particularly loud noise he can cover your ears in time or be there to reassure you. he also keeps an extra pair of noise canceling headphones with him or at least some little ear buds in his pocket. he becomes attuned to helping you with some of your other sensory issues but sound is one that triggers you more often so he knows what to look out for.

haechan- he found you intriguing when he first met you mostly bc you were kinda concerned with how he was being treated, especially by yuta. he thought it was really endearing when you’d get upset that he was being “slighted” but he explained that it was all a joke… you didn’t find it that funny. donghyuk loved that you cared so much for him so quickly and that you always wanted to show that you cared even if it meant you doing things you weren’t entirely comfortable with like hugging or other skinship. haechan was equally careful not to push skinship so much or just throw it on you without any warning. he was also careful with his jokes and not to tease you too much and upset you. overall he’s just very considerate.

What kills me is that members always reference currently popular skz memes/topics on bubble or lives so they definitely see what's going on, yet some of the members keep praising it on bubble

While now a lot of stays support this collab, with coca cola most of the fandom were boycotting and all the comments were full of it too still that didn't stop fl from drinking it on his live

Yeah like. god. This is gonna be a long answer but bear with me anon.

There are a few things I know to be true abt skz (and most idols tbh)

1. They are online (all that time spent in hair and makeup, waiting to perform, on a random plane or car. They have a lot of hours where they‘re at work without having to be mentally present, we all know they scroll, plus there‘s the lives and everything else).

2. They are in control of their music. They‘ve said this, it‘s their whole concept. No more discussion on this.

3. They‘re not really allowed/have decided not to be political (rmb that vlive where hyunjin chose a colored heart before soko elections and had to redo the whole thing bc the color was associated with a political party?)

4. They have contracts with JYPE and its unlikely they‘re allowed to back out of collabs like coca cola.

5. Individually they have also made questionable choices. The louis vuitton ambassadorship is honestly top of my list bc LVMH is engaged in industries that buy blood diamonds, do animal testing for cosmetics, have had parts in several labor disputes and the owners have a long laundry list of shit that they fucked up severely. Literally the richest family in france and LV is their flagship brand (Loewe is also part of it btw.). The Versace parent company is not much better. Tommy Hilfiger is obviously fucked and it has been like that for a while.

6. They are ambitious and in the industry they‘re in, that means they want to make more and more money. Because that means more promos, more artistic control, more fame, bigger halls etc.

I don‘t believe them to be bad people I just believe them to be apolitical people. In my book that‘s not really a thing (if you‘re not political you choose the status quo which in this case means fucking genocide.) BUT, crucially, people who don‘t care about politics beyond their arms reach or don‘t understand politics often care deeply about the people in their lives, about their work, about their direct environment. Skz are in an incredibly busy and stressful line of work and they were plunged into that world at an age when most people haven‘t or are just starting to develop political opinions. They‘re also from a culture that places very high value on respect(-ability), on not causing a stir and conforming to expectations (this is not a dig on korean culture btw, I think many aspects of this are actually positive, more individualistic cultures are not better, I am just focusing on a topic where these things have an unfortunate impact). In a highly individualistic culture like the US it‘s a lot easier for artists to express political opinions and make political art because they‘re expected to (and look how few even do it there, celebrity culture is laughable). Idols are expected to provide entertainment first and foremost, no more individuality than the company allows.

It makes sense that they are how they are. If all you‘ve ever worked for is a music career in a rigid industry where your every move is scrutinized of course you‘re not likely to make bold moves. But that doesn‘t make it right and it doesn‘t make their decisions better.

What I‘m trying to say is that I don‘t blame them for being how they are but I also entered this kpop life being aware of this. I‘ve stopped placing political expectations on celebrities. I don‘t need them to be political, I am political enough, that‘s not their purpose in my life.

I want them to speak to the part of me that dreams and that idealizes and that loves. But bc that‘s their role in my life it‘s jarring when suddenly their values and mine seem completely misaligned because the part of me that dreams and fantasizes is the part of me that also imagines a better world. Strange to know that they‘re ok with living in the existing world if they themselves live well.

SKZ Reaction to S/O Celebrating Ramadan

Genre: Fluff

Warnings: fem!reader in some parts, muslim!reader, mentions of food, if i missed anything let me know!

Author’s Note 1: Yes I am well aware Muslims aren’t supposed to date, and I’m also well aware that Muslim people who do date refrain from it during the month of Ramadan. However this is a reaction, an imagine, and that’s exactly what it is– imagining! So don’t come for me for this, thankssss

Author’s Note 2: I haven’t posted in over a year so idk how this is gonna do, but it’s Ramadan so I did want to post these for the Muslim STAY! Ramadan Kareem to those celebrating❤️☪️

Bang Chan:

Chan is literally the most respectful person in the world and also the most helpful

For your first Ramadan as a couple, he’d do SO much research to know what he should and should not do

He’d also ask you only like 10,000 questions (that’s not a lot right)

Chan would definitely make sure he keeps his distance (physically) during the month, even though you didn’t mention anything about it. He’s a very touchy and cuddly person but he respects your religion so he’ll refrain during the month

He’s also sit with you while you eat suhoor/sehri (or whatever y’all call it)! Sometimes he’ll make it for you and makes sure you eat enough to last you the whole day

He also eats Iftar with you :’)

I’m convinced the man will go to the mosque with you too

Chan fasts with you sometimes too! Although he knows that fasting is not the only aspect of Ramadan, so he takes care of other things as well

For example, if he’s listening to/making music while you’re around, he ALWAYS has his headphones plugged in

He also tells the boys to respect your personal space during the month (since most of them are huggers) and asks them to try their best not to curse or make dirty jokes around you (Chan also refrains from it too)

He’ll often surprise you throughout the month with iftari staples he can find from halal restaurants

Depending on what Muslim country you’re from, Chan googles some popular iftar foods from there and attempts to make it!

Overall Chan is very respectful and eager to learn, and also really really supportive so he’ll do whatever he can to make sure the month of Ramadan is easy for you.

“Babe, I love you but stay 6 ft away! You’re too pretty and I wanna kiss you but you’re celebrating Ramadan!”

LeeKnow:

Your personal chef for Ramadan

I mean, your personal chef 24/7 for eternity, but especially for Ramadan

He will make whatever you ask him to make, and like Chan, will make you Suhoor/Iftari staple foods from your country

Minho also sets an alarm an hour before Fajr, just so you don’t have to be up and eating alone

LeeKnow also does his research, so refrains from stuff like cursing/listening to music out loud, bringing alcohol around you, etc

LeeKnow’s also really curious, so he’ll be asking you tons of genuine questions

He also yells at the boys if they hug you during Ramadan or curse in front of you

Doesn’t plan any outings with the boys during prayer times; he knows you would never wanna miss a prayer

He does a lot of taking care of you from behind the scene, stuff you don’t notice at first but when you do, you MELT

For example, he carries a travel-friendly prayer mat along with a scarf for you in his bag.

And if you’re not wearing long sleeves he gives you his hoodie to wear so you can be properly dressed to pray

Guards the room you’re praying in so none of the boys can come in and bother you

Overall, a perfect boyfriend who respects your interfaith relationship a lot

Changbin:

Please he’s trying so hard to be respectful and not bother you as much during the month

I don’t think Changbin would fast with you especially since he works out so much he needs to eat and drink well

But he’s definitely eating suhoor and iftari with you every day of Ramadan (unless he has a schedule ofc)

Asks you so many questions omg

I think Changbin would go to Jisung and Chan to brush up on his knowledge for Ramadan

He understands fasting is not the only part of Ramadan, so everything else he refrains from too

For example, drinking, cursing, pork, and although he loves physical connection with you, he’s gonna refrain from it completely (even though it’s really hard for him)

But he does apologize to you once because he cannot stay away from music (it’s so cute)

Even when you’re not fasting during your period, Changbin refrains from all those things!

Not only is he willing to try Iftari staples from your country, but he will order foods from other Muslim countries for you guys too!

Changbin really bonds with you during Ramadan since he’s getting to try so many foods he never has before

Hyunjin:

Fight me on this one; Hyunjin will decorate for Ramadan all for you

He’s gonna mainly decorate his bedroom since you’re in there the most, but he’ll put up string lights in the dining room

He’s also gonna paint a ‘Ramadan Kareem’ sign with a beautiful mosque in the background 🥺

Also pls Hyunjin is so enamored by you

The boy loves to sleep in but he’s so in love with you he will willingly get up when you get up for suhoor and won’t go back to sleep until you’re done with Fajr (even though you told him he doesn’t need to)

Your personal photographer all year round, we agree right?

But this guy LOVES taking candid photos of you during Ramadan the most!

He believes you look beautiful no matter what time of day and no matter what’s going on, and to prove it

He takes so many pictures of you while you’re eating suhoor/iftar, while you’re getting ready to pray, while you’re focused on reading/listening to the Quran, while you’re making Iftari food (oh just wait till Eid he’s literally tailing you all day w his camera)

Also wants you to teach him the first week of Ramadan how to make the Iftari foods you love

So the rest of the month, he starts making those for you

[Hyunjin]: “Yeah I’ve been waking up at 5am with her everyday, and I hate it.”

[Member]: “So why don’t you just not wake up?”

[Offended Hyunjin]: “HOW COULD YOU EVEN SUGGEST THAT?!”

Han Jisung:

Tbh I think Jisung is the most familiar with Ramadan because he lived in Malaysia for a while, and the majority of Malaysians are Muslim

Even though he’s got the most knowledge about Ramadan out of the group, he’s still nervous he’ll somehow mess up so he does a LOT of research and even takes notes

His studio times during the month have become 10pm - 5am, just so he can make sure he’s home with you during Iftar AND Suhoor

Jisung is probably the only member who will keep most (if not all) fasts with you

He also strikes me as someone who will willingly go to the mosque

Also he’s gonna pick up a Korean translation of the Quran so he can read beside you while you’re reading

After reading he’ll discuss with you what he learned, and you’ll sit there for a while on the prayer mats discussing Islamic stories (literally me dream shut up)

Jisung’s strongest suite is not cooking so he will help you make suhoor and iftari instead

Jisung bursts out singing randomly ALL the frickin time but he definitely keeps himself in check during Ramadan which is something you appreciate so much

Part of him wants to stay in the dorm during the whole month so he doesn’t jump your bones and cuddle you kiss you to his heart’s content

The other part of him doesn’t wanna leave you alone during the month and wants to observe it with you

He ends up staying with you, just controlling himself :)

“Baby, is it time for Iftar yet? 5 more minutes? Okay then...”

Felix:

I know I keep saying they all do their research BUT IT’S TRUE

AND FELIX IS ONE OF THEM

He keeps telling you facts he learned, and you know them, but he’s so cute, so you just act like you’ve never heard them

The only thing on his mind the entire month is, “Make life easier for Y/N”

So like Minho, he will make sure he has a prayer mat, scarf, and one of his sweatshirts in his bag at all times so you can pray when you need to

He also makes sure to take care of your sehri and iftari every single day, even if he has to wake up at 4am to make it

Will keep some of the fasts with you

Also suggests taking night trips to the mosque with you, since he read that the Taraweeh prayer is a big deal and usually done at the mosque

Might I add he will even perform the prayer! He won’t know what he’s saying but he’ll stand by the men and follow them and it’s the effort that counts okay

He might even chat up some of the men at the prayer and talk about his will to learn the religion for you

I’m 100% sure Felix will pickup an English translation of the Quran so he can sit next to you while you read.

If you’re on page 30, he’s on page 30. And he’s really trying to understand it!

Overall just so freaking supportive, and he wants you to know you’re not alone in celebrating such a holy month for you

Like all the gestures he does during Ramadan really make you fall in love all over again

Because he’s doing, like, jaw dropping things you didn’t think he would!

For example, he searches all day for a good online abaya store a couple weeks before Ramadan. So right before Ramadan starts, you get a huge package filled with different colored abayas and some scarves!

If he sees you’re really stressed with work/school on a particular day, he’ll asl you if you remembered to pray, and you think it’s so sweet because prayer is such an important thing in Islam

Does his research especially on the foods eaten during suhoor and iftari!

So like Felix he will prepare your Iftari for you every single night

Also gets up to be there as moral support while you eat sehri and pray Fajr

You CANNOT get Seungmin to wake up at 5am for a month straight without any good reason

But you’re Y/N. You are the BEST reason for him to do ANYTHING

You two will sit there during suhoor and he will ask you questions about the religion, whatever he’s curious about

Does everything in his willpower to make the month easy for you

And he’s so empathetic, so he will feel that his main job during Ramadan is to make sure you’re not feeling alone

It’s hard for him, but he keeps most of the fasts with you

He would’ve kept all 30 but you made him promise he wouldn’t fast on days he has full day schedules since he needs to stay hydrated

Jeongin will also go to the mosque with you

He’s also one of the members who will pick up a Korean translation of the Quran and sit by you while you read it

Usually doesn’t cook often but during Ramadan he’s cooking every single night with you

LOVES trying the food from your country; although it’s stuff he’s not used to, he enjoys trying the foods and is so interested in all the different spices used

Jeongin also refrains from things during the month of Ramadan– he gives up drinking, pork, cursing, and listening to music outside of his work

I think Jeongin would even go as far as to not eat haram meat the whole month! So everything you guys are eating is 100% halal

And you think it is such a heartwarming gesture since Ramadan is not a part of Jeongin’s culture

Basically everything he can to make sure you don’t feel lonely during Ramadan, you bet he’s on it
