f1gossipgirl Charles and his girlfriend, Manon, were allegedly spotted by the paparazzi in Corsica on August 7th and 12th. However, some fans noticed that the photos taken on the 12th had a resemblance to a photo featured in Charles' annual summer break photo dump on Instagram.
Most, if not all, of the photos on Instagram were taken by Antoine Truchet (Charles' friend and a professional photographer who has shot with Charles many times in the past). We this as on August 21, Antoine posted a series of photos, with a caption saying "corsica with CL". Some of the photos posted here were also posted on Charles' Instagram, further confirming Antoine's presence on this trip. It can also be assumed Antoine took most, if not all, of these photos as he is not actually featured in any of the pictures, which is strange as he is quite close with Charles and his friends. This all makes sense when you assume that Antoine was the one taking all the photos. Also, the photos are clearly taken by a professional.
So now we've established that Antoine, a professional photographer, was there in Corsica, and he likely took all of the photos posted by Charles.
Going back to the photo that sparked recognition, it can be seen that in the picture Charles is wearing a white button-down shirt, and is sitting on a green-and-white striped beach chair. Similarly, in the photos taken by the paparazzi on the 12th (not the ones in the water, but the ones sitting in the chair with Manon), Charles is seen wearing a white button-down as he sits in a green-and-white striped beach chair. These photos were taken on the same day.
All of this has brought fans to speculate that Charles was the one who notified the paparazzi of his presence, which would explain how the photos were even taken (the paparazzi are good, but are they that good..?). It would seem that Charles decided to have a little "photoshoot" and, as his summer break is probably busy, he wanted to get it done in one day. Expose the new girlfriend and take quality pictures for fans!
Many are still confused in regards to the reasoning behind him tipping off the paparazzi and exposing his infidelity.

when i was wee (in the 90's/early 2000's), my family was best friends with another family - they were like family too, tbh. there were like, five kids total, and i remember this one time we were visiting my cottage around the same time that the hamtaro anime was on tv in my country. i was OBSESSED with it, and the others liked it too (but not as much as me i think tbh). anyway, I just remember all of us pretending to be different characters (i really liked bijou at the time, that cutie 😍) and we would like, draw pictures of us as them in crayon that we put up on doors throughout the cabin and then we would run around and pretend to be them. we would make the noises and run around on all fours and sing the songs and stuff. it was the best!
i don't have a ton of (good) childhood memories (thanks to my various mental illnesses/trauma) but this one sticks out to me because we had so much fun. so thanks for being here and answering ur asks and reminding me about this!! it has delighted me today and i kinda needed it 🥹💜

That’s really sweet!!! I’m jelly you had friends that liked Hamtaro back then tho, and that it’s a sweet lil memory you still have. I might steal this idea tho? I have accumulated/influenced some friends who like Hamtaro in my life at 30, and we’re all still you know, hip? So I might suggest we draw ourselves as hamhams and run around on all fours. It may very well be the most fun I have all week.

As for the "plot" and other things... (this got so long I am so sorryy;;;)
Well at first I wanted to do kinda a normal ebg, no plot or anything bc I don't think I have the smarts to do an elaborate game/story lmao and I kinda wanted to have more established s/i lore??
And then I realized

I can use the ebg to introduce my s/i!!!
See I'd been working SO hard on her names lately, researching and studying in-game adepti lore and stuff and I though why don't I make it a simple game where the goal is to guess her name (with me giving hints ofc) and at the very start I had the idea of her losing her memories so she could re-discover/remember things about herself alongside the "players" learning them. Whoever character I got as my bias would help her and get to know her too along the way, even npcs (or in the rare case of me getting Dottore/Pantalone, probs be the villain for her memory loss lmao)
And then I got Kazuha. And it was so SO perfect.
I took inspiration from Spirited Away with the plot point of having your name/memories/identity stolen and for some reason I remembered the whole Ino-shika-cho koi-koi card combo from Summer Wars I just had this vivid mental image of a scene where Kazuha dropped the biggest hint by writing the Kanji for Butterfly (Chō) which doubles ofc as the Hanzi for Butterfly/Crystalfly (Dié)
written the same pronounced (and romanized) differently :3c

I did not end up making haiku bc they are complicated but I at least tried to loosely keep/emulate the 3 phrases, phonetic rhyme and sensory elements while referencing my lil plot lmao
✧˖Originally I was gonna blame it on a playful tanuki or smth but I don't think they're powerful enough youkai lmao it was probably a kitsune.... we may never know
✧˖She was technically never in any danger yeah but imagine being lost with no memories and no way to know if you could get them back even because every person she met kept telling her they didn't know ofc she'd break down, or at least me, I'm very crybaby and neurotic sometimes//HIT
✧˖Yes this entire thing was technically Zhongli's fault since he did write her a letter addressed 亲爱的晶蝶 ("My dear Crystalfly/Jingdie") and that IS her name woops on a random note I kinda imagine he also signs with something like 你的龙 "Your Dragon" and vice versa with Crys ("My dear Dragon/your Crystalfly") sgcvgajsvcjhacbajkca //squeals kicks feets
And all this started because I was stressing over the fact that "Crys" is not an appropriate name for a Liyue character lmao, I debated for so long giving her a chinese name, but I didn't want to further make her an OC I wanted her to represent me/my blog (also part of me was and still is immensely worried I somehow insult cn ppl by being as some sort of weeabo equivalent or that I am "appropriating culture" or idk I may be dumb but I try to do my research and I prommy it does not come from a place of malice or anything I genuinely love genshin and Li and it's got me interested in a culture/country I funnily enough have somehow interacted with and have friends in but never really paid that much attention to ig...)
and then I just had the epiphany What if I just reverse engineer and name her Crystalfly in cn?
Lore would be that either her name got accidentally translated in documents a long long time ago and ppl started calling ehr Crystalfly/Crys and she rolled with it or she simply adopted the translation/nickname as her name for international settings, keeping her true name more private (hidden in plain sight tbh) p sure the only ones who know are the elder adepti (Ganyu/Xiao included) and Neuvillette (once he told her his real/first name)
(ironically Crys may be harder to pronounce i other languages lmaoooo rip Fontaine)

3, what first drew me to her.
Before Ein and Aikawa my favourite was Aohara, but it quickly changed to adoring Ein, What really drew me to her is her dress actually. I thought “wow her dress is cuteee I’m gonna pay attention to her more” and i fell in LOVE.

YES. I call her prettygirl. It stemmed from me rambling about her in class whilst i was persuading my friend to read and watch hri (success, gonna persuade her to join tumblr next >:D). She called her pretty so i was like “yes yes she is prettygirl” so now i just call her prettygirl whenever i talk about her irl XD.

For ein, definitely spring, 100%. When i think of spring, i think of flowers, and Ein reminds me of flowers for no reason.

Let me preface this with: I fucking love Buggy (I would die protecting him) and I have been WAITING for the perfect match up for him, and darlin' you're it.
Buggy would fall into your orbit immediately. The moment you first throw out your magnetic flirting, the man is toast– he's buttered up with obsession and you will be his absolute everything. He will look at you like you hung the fucking moon in the sky and that you make the birds sing and that you make his heart keep beating in his chest.
It's wonderful that you're a hype man, because believe it or not, that's really what Buggy needs. He is constantly failing upwards and it scares him. He doesn't think he deserves any notoriety–he doesn't think he deserves love at all. You would be the light he looks to for encouragement.
