₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 Eating pussy is like Finn's version of stress eating. Which, having so many different careers, Finn tends to get stressed A LOT… so you can only begin to imagine how many times you end up having to be his stress snack.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 Upcoming interview? Pull those panties down.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 Scene that's particularly stressful to film? Drop dem drawers.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 Oddly enough, Finn almost seems like he gets more enjoyment out of it than you do. He whimpers and whines a lot, his hands pressing against your thighs, leaving little crescent shaped marks from his fingernails.
"Oh... ugh, fuuuuuck, yes. Just a little more.."
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 A lot of heavy breathing on Finn's end. Aggressive clit sucking and loud, muffled moans.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 He loves it when you wear dresses and skirts because that means it's easier for him to lay you against a table or a chair or something and dip his head between your legs for a quick pick me up.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 It's almost like he's addicted to giving you head.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 Sometimes, he lies about being stressed just so he can get on his knees for you.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 Expect to be woken up by head A LOT.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 As for Finn's "style" of head, he's incredibly good at (honestly, what is that man NOT good at, at this point). While he's down there, his tongue is a-flickin' and a-rollin', his mouth is a-suckin' and a'kissin'. Not to mention his tongue is pretty quick in its movements.
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 He also is a particularly big fan of secret hickeys. If anyone saw your thighs, they'd probably think you just constantly run into shit. Which I guess you do, but by "shit" it's "Finn's mouth".
₊ ⊹ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 Finn has a potty mouth. This we know. But what you might not know is that it's like ten times worse when he's horny. It's dirty talk, left and right.
"Jesus, you're so wet. For me?" "If I could eat your pussy for every meal for the rest of my life, I promise you I would never skip a meal."

compiling EVERYTHING we know about fionna and cake
NEWS: EPISODE 1 PREMIERED AT SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON. There are no known recordings of the episode as streaming it was not permitted, however you can check my newer post for some described details (minor spoilers warning but nothing too big!)
WE HAVE GOT A SECOND TRAILER!
youtube
There was also be a half hour panel about Fionna and Cake, which brought us A TRAILER WITH A RELEASE DATE OF AUGUST 31! Starting from this date til Sept 28th, we will get 2 episodes a week.
youtube
MORE UNDER THE CUT!
The show is aimed at a young adult audience
There will be 10 episodes, each with a length of 30 minutes (most likely 30 minutes *TV* time, meaning the true length will probably be around 22 minutes)
It will be about multiverse hopping
Fionna is older and has a job in a different universe where everyone is genderswapped + human
It will, supposedly, premier on CN Canada in fall, probably after all of the episodes have already been released in September.
Prismo seems to be involved, according to the trailer (he's also apparently in the intro sequence)
An older version of Finn is in it! (As seen in the trailer)
Gumlee is almost certainly going to be a thing (as confirmed by someone who worked on it)
The entire intro/opening sequence was described as "going inside Simon's psyche" and it ending with Fionna and cake jumping out of Prismo's time room. Please note we haven't seen the actual intro sequence yet, just the trailer.
Fionna has a slight outfit change, she no longer wears a skirt and has shorts instead.
Simon also appears to be older — and judging by Finn's age in the trailer, it's presumably because this will take place between Obsidian and Together Again.
The most recent plot synopsis states that Fionna and Cake will be coming to Simon for help. An earlier plot synopsis said that at some point, they would need to rescue him
The synopses also state that they team up with him to help stop a new threat to Ooo that is tracking Fionna and Cake down to try to erase their existence
As seen in the trailer, we will be getting Simon and Marcy flashbacks.
Fionna's sword in the snippet also may have something to do with Ice Thing, as it has a pretty similar design
Cake's eye color has been changed to blue
According to Tom Kenny, recording Simon's lines for this was "the most emotional thing he's ever done"
Adam Muto is returning as showrunner
Hanna K Nyström, Jack Pendarvis, and Steve Wolfhard also return for this
The credits(?) theme of the series is the song that can be heard in the trailer
According to an attendee, a middle-aged Finn also appears in one of the episodes (as learned from a clip shown at the panel, also unavailable as of right now) and also says a light swear
This is most likely in the same clip as one where Simon is fishing and accidentally catches a monster, and Finn having to save him
Rebecca Sugar has returned to write two original songs for the series
It seems like Donald Glover is returning as Marshall Lee's VA!
According to Adam Muto, this show takes place about 12 years after Come Along With Me, making both Finn and Fionna around 29+
Jake gets shown a bit in the series, most likely as a flashback
Tree Trunks also gets a bit of screentime
Lumpy Space Prince/Princess is confirmed to still be voiced by Pen Ward
Adam Muto says they they don't know what a season 2 would look like, but it wouldn't be off the table
There will be a vampire episode (which will probably be where Marceline comes in)
The unknown enemy of the series might be the unfamiliar face we can see in this poster, between Marceline and Ice King:
Tumblr media
NOTE AS OF THE NEW TRAILER: I will not be updating this post anymore. If I have any theories surrounding the new stuff we saw, I will be putting those into a separate post. The show premieres in 2 weeks!

fits of laughter was heard across the set, they were filming the movie “it.” finn wolfhard and y/n l/n playing as richie tozier and melissa campbell. the popular girl and the loser boy trope. they were probably the ones that the whole cast team would think to date after a couple years.
richie was a part of the losers club. melissa was a friend of greta keene’s. she wasn’t that mean though, she was bearable for the losers club.
“y/n, catch!”
she got uh— she got hit by a ball. she was too busy talking to wyatt, about some new nintendo game that she was planning to buy. her head snapped turning towards finn, with a large smile plastered on his face.
“finn what the fuck, my hair!”
“oops, i did it again.” he danced, dancing the moves as he’s seen from the music video a couple of times.
“stop with the britney jokes!” she was so irritated by finn, but she was basically his best friend on set, and so was he.
finn knew in the best ways possible, on how to tease you. he teased you with the topics of your favorite singer, actor, color, even your own favorite show. or your book. it would always go;
“y/n what drink are you getting, ariana grande or ariana venti?”
“y/n i can’t believe you like waffles more than pancakes, wait— are you attracted to them? waffles are just pancakes with abs.”
and she’d just reply with a very sarcastic laugh. or a genuine one. it depends on how she takes the joke. finn loved seeing her smile, it made him feel great deep inside that he was able to make a pretty girl like you, smile.
every time after an interview, she’d either spend dinner by his. well his mom always insisted. and then it’d lead to a sleepover. and you guys making little vine videos. y/n and finn had a really great friendship.
just to let you know, reader. finn knew jaeden liked y/n. but finn liked her too, i mean as a friend! nothing more, totally nothing more.
well that kinda changed when she started doing more movies, like where she appeared on shazam, spider-man far away from home, let’s just say that y/n was in the acting market in 2019.
she started getting more developed, her looks and herself. and then she landed a role in the third season of stranger things. basically finn’s show. and whenever her character, courtney and mike would have an interaction, filming would be hard. they couldn’t stop laughing at each other. they were like millie and noah basically.
“mom! get off the phone!”
they had to retake that scene so many times because of the way finn and y/n laughed every time he screamed those words into the prop telephone. that’s how he took notice of the way she laughed, and that his feelings would never change for her.
“so y/n and finn, you guys were in it together right?” they were in the tonight show with jimmy fallon right now, y/n sat next to finn and sadie.
“yeah i was richie like the little kid with the glasses and she was—“
“i was melissa! like the girl with the really high ponytail and winked at richie so randomly—“
“how do you even wink like that!? like, like my face has to come with the wink whenever i try it” finn laughed along with gaten, caleb, and jimmy. remembering the part in the it movie where she’d done that.
jimmy thought y/n and finn had chemistry. the way she’d look at him and the way he did. he whispered that to finn when the show was over, he couldn’t sleep that night. he couldn’t stop thinking about what jimmy said. it really made him think that he had a chance with y/n.
more interviews come by, and he always takes notice of what she’s wearing, how her hair was done, how her makeup was done, how her eyes would always look at his and smile.
y/n feels the same, she likes finn. she notices that he always looks at her, scanning her clothes, scanning her hair, then meeting her eyes. maybe finn felt the same? she thought.
they start to hang out a lot more, they surprisingly get roles in the same shows. even in music videos. she always comes over by his house for a sleepover every weekend. basically they made it tradition. he couldn’t help but stare at her sleeping figure whenever y/n’s head drifted onto dreamland earlier than him. she looked so peaceful. she looked so beautiful to him.
they did a music video with weezer. well, weezer was their favorite band. surprisingly, they wanted it to be his band, calpurnia. but finn insisted to add her in as it was probably a dream come true. they were playing as teenagers in the 80’s. well, they always did whenever they had a pretty big movie to act on.
time went past by, for filming it chapter 2. richie and melissa as adults reunite in a drugstore by accident. as for y/n and finn’s part, richie and melissa were going out over for ice cream after henry bowers shames him for playing street fighter with his cousin and then, pennywise sprawls in the sky as they go out of the ice cream shop as a flash back. most of the cast had girlfriends. wyatt, jaeden, jack, and ben.
“when are you gonna ask y/n out?” wyatt plays his game right beside finn. he was planning to, but the timing, it was terrible.
“dunno. i really wanna ask her out but i don’t think it’s like— like it’s time yet.”
“finnjamin, you need to ask her out. i mean atleast jaeden isn’t all eyes for her anymore! you got no competition. take the chance dude” jack said as he was eating a burger. finn was rethinking everything, was he gonna do it?
and eventually to stranger things season 4. filming was long. it took 2 years to come out, and as long how filming sounded, it was the most fun she’s had in filming a show for so long. finn, finn enjoyed that 2 years for spending time with her. well in some parts, because basically mike is now an angsty teenager towards courtney. courtney’s a part of the cheerleading team now, and lucas was in the basketball ball team. whenever mike interacted with courtney, it was either he was with some annoyed expression or a poker face. as for courtney, she’s pretty sad. girl starts to do terrible choices in the show leading to her in the upside down.
and finn eventually confessed his feelings for y/n. and she did the same. they were a match made in heaven, cupid hit the right arrows for them. they were the dream couple,
and she was his dream lover.

bye this took an hour of listening to music for inspo and an hour to write💀💀

What’s a DR you want to gush about, but haven’t had the chance?
OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE THIS QUESTION!!
so the dr that i’ve been really missing is my 2006 indie kid dr which i call “zooey-inspired” because of zooey deschanel and her typecast
basically i’m a sophomore in high school and i’m the quirkiest manic pixie dream girl you’ve ever met in your life. i listen to indie rock on my discman and i went to see juno in theaters and i read classic literature in class.
i also scripted that finn wolfhard is my age and he goes to my school and we’re dating. he’s like a loner rocker kinda guy and he invites me to all of his band practices so i can just watch and admire him. we also are super codependent and literally do everything together. practically all our free time is spent at the movie theaters. OH AND OUR HALLOWEEN COSTUMES ARE SO ICONIC!! first we’re margot & richie tenenbaum, then we’re billy & layla from buffalo 66, and then we’re victor & emily from corpse bride. and the whole relationship is very lowkey, but super addictive. we’re just so in love and obsessed with each other.
not to mention that i get every role i want in theater. i get to play all of my dream roles and im gonna be my theatre teacher’s favorite student!! i finally get to play rosemary in how to succeed in business without really trying AND juliet in romeo and juliet. plus people are actually gonna clap for me and be proud of me and bring me flowers 🥺
and my style is so iconic. i do 60s makeup a lot and kinda use iconography of edie sedgwick because she’s perfect. but i also wear a lot of patterned tights and mary janes and berets. pretty much just giving a full 1960s swining london vibe thats so against the norm and cool. OH AND I GET TO HAVE A FLIP PHONE!! i love late 2000s tech it’s so nostalgic. i’ll have a portable dvd player and i’ll burn cds for finn and ill take photos on my nikon coolpix camera. and im gonna be able to drive and my car is a yellow volkswagen beetle which is totally iconic in its own right.
this doesn’t really fit into a fandom so idk how many people are actually gonna read this but this is one of my favorite dr’s

Mike -> El love confession 04x09 theory ((byler))
Alright, I don’t know how many people have thought about this, but I wanted to go through it anyways since I just think it would be a smart way to make Mike’s character more interesting.
Tumblr media
During this scene, where Mike confesses his love to el, there’s a popular theory that Mike only did it because Will told him to, or that he did it since he realised Will would never love him the way he loves him (which wouldn’t be true-).
But WHAT IF he did the same thing that Will did in the van scene?
Tumblr media
Rewind to the van scene.
Will told Mike about his feelings but covered it up with El. So basically instead of “I need you” he said “El needs you”.
Now, back to the love confession.
Tumblr media
WHAT IF Mike did the same thing as Will? What if he was actually confessing his feelings towards Will but covered it up with El?
“I can’t lose you Will” -> “I can’t lose you El”
Let’s think through the script.
“El, I don’t know if you can hear this, but if you can, I want you to know that I’m here, okay? I’m right here.”
This is when Will reminds Mike that he’s the heart, which gives Mike the courage to finally say “I love you”.
Now, what if this is when he finally got the idea to confess his feelings to Will, but through El.
This is when suddenly his confession goes from kind of “fake” to more “real” and emotional.
Let’s try the rest of the script but with El->Will.
“And, I love you, Will, do you hear me? I love you. I’m sorry I don’t say it more, it’s not because I’m scared of you. I’m not. I’ve never felt that way, never. But I’m scared that one day you’ll realise you don’t need me anymore. And I thought that if I said how I felt it would somehow make that day hurt more. But the truth is, Will, I don’t know how to live without you. I feel like my life started that day I found you (in kindergarten).
Then further on, he starts talking about the day they met, which SOMEHOW gave me some deja vu.
“You were wearing that yellow benny’s burger’s T-shirt”
Ummm- HOLD ON.
Tumblr media
EDDIES “SPEECH” TO MIKE AND DUSTIN 04x01.
UMM.. HELLO??? MIKE?? DID YOU JUST- 💀
Let’s compare shall we?
MIKE -> EL “You were wearing that yellow benny’s burger’s T-shirt and it was so big it almost swallowed you whole, and I knew right there and then that I loved you”
EDDIE -> DUSTIN AND MIKE “I knew it the moment I saw you. You sat on that table right over there. Looking like two little lost sheep. You were wearing a weird Al T-shirt, which I thought was brave.”
MIKE I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE 😭
Anyways, I have a feeling this had many hot takes so don’t take it seriously 😭🤚
Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FINN WOLFHARD!!!! 🎉🎉

Okay I have yet to see anyone use the comment Finn made about this season to back up that Byler won’t be unrequited. I figured I should bring it up to help others like me spiraling back n forth on the matter.
So (in the video interview I saw and will try to find) he mentioned it being “like the ending of Schitt’s Creek”.. which is legit about a Pansexual man being some dudes first guy that he’s with and they are quoted saying something along the lines of:
Guy who has never kissed a guy but likes him back: “I’m finally feeling the feelings you’re supposed to”
Guy who has been confirmed queer who kisses him because other one was too afraid to:“I never kissed someone I cared about”…. //never fell in love (Will says he’ll never fall in love)
Props to @inveinity for finding it!!! LIFE SAVER LOVE YA OWE YA! If anyone can find the video though that’d be great cause it has the quote I need. But it’s from this interview
I’m sorry y’all life’s been busy and I still haven’t been able to find the interview vid. But can we just. Like from S4 onward thus far it’s soooo Byler energy in Schitts creek. Got a vid of this part cause I kinda freaked with how perf the vibes are tho. He knew what he was sayin in that interview cause literally WHAT ELSE COULD HE HAVE MEANT!?!?!
(Further updates as I’m finishing it. Stevie seems to be the El character and she’s super sad and wears flannels and is like “WHAT ABOUT MEEE!?! Why can’t I find love!?!” And it’s heart breaking but she’s finding herself some and what she wants and her voice (literally lol) and confidence on her own.) the guy who this was a first for also had a fiancé before this sooo serious relationship, but again it never felt right.)
I’d also like to say the way they direct/write the show (for this main ship) is similar in the way where what they hint at is subtle and you really wouldn’t catch it if you aren’t good at noticing things like that. Like all the details Bylersss pick up on!!!!

thank you anyway :)
Hi!! Thank you for this idea, it's so cute!! Hopefully this does it justice, and cheers to being my first request :)))

Your relationship with Finn was an unusual one. You knew from the beginning that it would be; you knew that he'd be in and out of your life, physically, and that was okay. It was just the way it was. It wasn't really something that you let get to you.
That's what you told yourself every time he left to film something. He was sharing his art with the world, and you supported him every step of the way.
But it was on late nights like these, when he was actually here with you, physically, that you really and truly came to terms with the fact that there was nobody else in this world you'd rather have by your side forever. You came to terms with the fact that you didn't want him to leave your side tomorrow. And you came to terms with the fact that you knew he would.
You rolled over to your side. Finn's arm had hung lazily over your waist, but your tossing and turning had long since shrugged it off. It was those small, lazy touches that you knew you'd miss the most. His arm slug over your back when you were on the phone, his hand in your back pocket when you were walking somewhere together, his chin on your shoulder as you cooked dinner for the two of you. You rolled onto your back, staring up at the ceiling. Your apartment was full of memories. Small, intimate memories only the two of you would ever share. You knew this night would be a memory too. Finn soundly sleeping next to you, facing you. Everything in the world seemed to stand still. It was tranquil, and you had every reason to sleep tonight, but you couldn't. Not with knowing you'd have to drive him to the airport and say goodbye again in a number of hours.
As quietly as you could, you shuffled out of the sheets (which smelled like Finn, now—bergamot, cedar, and a hint of citrus.) and stood, taking care to not wake him up. You avoided the creaky floorboards by the door as you walked into the kitchen to make yourself some tea. As if tea could quiet your racing mind.
Quiet. The world was quiet. Your studio apartment was painted in shades of black and blue in the night, only illuminated by the streetlights that shone through the windows. Just as you reached to flick on the light in the kitchen, you heard footsteps behind you and a half-asleep Finn whispering your name.
If you weren't fully awake earlier, you certainly were now. You turned around to face your boyfriend, who looked criminally good with his bedhead and half-lidded eyes once you turned on the light.
"You scared me." You spoke, your voice small, mustering up as much of a laugh as you could after you saw a sleepy grin spread across Finn's face.
"Sorry. What are you doing? It's like... it's the middle of the night." He made a gesture with his wrist like he was checking his watch (which he wasn't wearing), and feigned disappointment with a sarcastic shake of his head and another half-asleep smile.
"I couldn't sleep. Do you want some tea?"
"Sure. Do you wanna talk about it?"
You nodded. Finn could read you so easily. It wasn't often you couldn't sleep, and even less often did you wake him up without first insisting that he go back to bed. Because this time you didn't want him to go back to bed. You wanted to spend every last moment with him before his flight. And he did too.
Both of you were more awake once you had made two mugs of tea and set them down on your coffee table, wrapping yourselves in one of your many throw blankets. You were even more awake once you felt his arm snake around your waist, and you were fully awake when you leaned into him and stated the obvious.
"I'm going to miss you so much when you're gone."
He rested his head on top of yours, and there was a pause, before he said "I'll call you every night, I promise. You can't get rid of me that easily."
"What a shame." You giggled as he lifted his head off of yours to look at you, giving you a look of exaggerated surprise.
"Can't believe you."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
His head came back down to rest atop yours, and you felt him smile.
"You smell good," you mumbled into his shoulder. Maybe you hadn't meant to mumble, but your voice was ever so slightly muffled. Maybe you had meant to. Maybe it was just a note to yourself. To not forget his scent while he was away from you. To not forget any moment from this night, this memory.
You felt him smile again, and then he laughed breathily into you and said "I'll miss you too."
There was a comfortable silence between the both of you for a few minutes as you took it all in.
The two of you, only illuminated by the light in the kitchen. Bergamot. His faint breathing just over your forehead. Cedar. His fingertips tracing circles on your waist. And a hint of citrus. Your forgotten mugs of tea on the coffee table. You tried to commit it all to memory.
"Do you think I can borrow some of your shirts when you go?" Maybe it was a weird question to ask, but it was the first thing you could think to say. Really, you just wanted him to speak again. And he did.
"Depends." He didn't move from where he was, and you felt the vibrations of his voice as he spoke over you. "Which ones?"
"Maybe the li—"
"Nope." You felt him move, finally, his head to look down at you. He was smiling that smile he always had when he looked at you. It was knowing, but it was fond. And he knew. He knew exactly what shirt you were talking about, because you had always tried to steal it before. It was a light blue button-up. Slightly oversized. It was cute, it went with so many things, and even if it suited Finn a little better than it did you, you liked it because it smelled like him. And because it had become somewhat of an inside joke of yours, how protective he was over it now he knew you liked it. "Anything but that."
"But it's my favorite."
He hummed, and held you a little closer before acquiescing.
"Well, if it's your favorite..."
"Are you serious?" Now it was your turn to look at him and smile.
"Yeah, okay. Just don't, like, burn it."
"Ah, there go my weekend plans."
---
"Ow! Shit."
"Are you okay?" You could hear Finn stifle his laugh, even over FaceTime.
"Yeah, I just dropped my phone on my face." Finn fully laughed at that one, and you rolled your eyes.
You picked your phone back up, and held it directly above your face again as you laid on the couch you had just shared with Finn three nights ago.
"Wait. Is that my shirt?" He smiled that Finn-Wolfhard-signature-all-knowing-smile. It was his shirt. The light blue one. Slightly oversized, and it smelled like bergamot and cedar and a hint of citrus.
"Maybe..." You dragged out the two syllables of the word and returned his expression as you rolled over to your side, attempting to prop your phone up on the coffee table.
"I should let you borrow that one more. Looks better on you than on me."
You stopped fiddling with the camera when you heard him speak. It was so casual, the way he said it. He was always that way with compliments. They were so simple, so easy, but they always got you so flustered. Your phone flopped out of your hands, face down on the ground.
And you heard him laugh, and you couldn't help but laugh too, and in that moment you came to realize that no matter how unusual your relationship was with Finn, that was just the way it was. And it was perfect.

Themes of Non-Conformity in Stranger Things 4: Some More Byler Optimism
Do I have a bunch of unanswered asks in my inbox? Yes. Did I instead spend hours writing a new analysis nobody asked for? Also yes.
Let’s talk about the themes of non-conformity in Stranger Things 4 and how it points toward canon Byler being endgame.
First of All
I want to draw attention to Stranger Things in general using non-conformity as a driving theme throughout the past few seasons. Stranger Things is known for using popular tropes and subverting them in interesting ways.
Here’s just a few examples from major outlets:
[Gendered tropes] [Lucas and the Token Black Kid Trope] [Steve Harrington and  the Douchebag Boyfriend Trope] [Eddie and the Bad Boy Metalhead Trope] [also this]
Secondly, I want to talk about the importance of the theme stated beat in storytelling. If you’re familiar with Blake Snyder’s Save the Cat beats or any variation of it, this is familiar. There is a point in the first act of every story where a side-character explicitly states a central message that the character or cast of characters must learn by the end of the story. So what I want to talk about today is the explicitly stated theme of Stranger Things season 4, and how it points toward Byler.
Non-Conformity in Stranger Things 4
There are a few overt examples of the theme being explicitly stated in episode 1 of season 4.
First, there is the Steve and Robin scene. I know, it’s easy to get distracted by the boobies of it all, but the most important part of their conversation and Robin’s struggles with Vicky is highlighted here too:
“You know what else I think? You gotta stop pretending to be someone else when you’re around her. You just gotta be yourself.”
[x]
Then there’s Eddie’s lunch scene. He rants about the Satanic Panic surrounding D&D, but at the end of it, he adds the important point: “Forced conformity. That’s what’s killing the kids.”
These could be unintentionally related, but I don’t think so. This thematic principle is relevant in all the major characters’s storylines this season. Think about how conformity ties in with all of the below plots:
We see Eleven struggling to fit in where she feels she doesn’t belong (“I am different. I do not belong.”)
We see Jonathan and Nancy struggling to fit their relationship into their expectations with Jonathan lying about his college plans, thinking Nancy would drop her dreams and “move out here to be with me” if he told her.
We see Mike and Eleven struggling with fitting into the expectations of their relationship as well.
We also see Will struggling with his sexuality.
Then, there’s Mike. Mike who used to wear “whatever shit your mommy bought you from the gap” (Eddie, episode 1) and now wears a Hellfire club t-shirt, Mike who tells Lucas he doesn’t care about being popular, Mike who admits he’s one of the “freaks and weirdos.” Mike who can’t tell his girlfriend he loves her.
Mike, who Finn Wolfhard says has been “trying to be normal” but is “figuring things out,” and “trying new things.”
I’m not saying that the themes of non-conformity must be tied to Byler; I’m just saying that if they were doing Byler, which I believe they are, complementing it with these kinds of themes would be a really great move. Mike being queer but playing straight to conform to societal expectations and conform to the expectations of his straight relationship makes so much sense in the context of these greater themes.

Mike’s Pocket - AKA, Theo losing his goddamn mind over FUCKING fabric
Okay, so I’ve talked about this before, you’ve definitely read about this before, everyone knows about Pocketgate by now—so, instead of reiterating old points, I’m gonna summarize my opinions (and therefore what I’m drawing from for this whole thing) the stuff that we’ve all been over and then I can talk about fun stuff >:D
1. Finn Wolfhard said that the pocket was sideways!
Okay, yes he did say that, but I also need everyone to look at the pocket closely for a second.
Tumblr media
See that thick shadow and creasing at the top? The pocket opens from the top, meaning that it can’t open from the side (underneath the triangle) because it needs to be attached by at least three sides—otherwise, it would be hanging off. There is no way for the pocket to open from the side, because it wouldn’t be structurally sound—additionally, we would see the fabric creasing to accommodate that opening, whether or not there’s a cover over it. That triangle opens (we can see that the metal circle is the same kind of snap closure that’s at his neckline), but it’s purely decorative.
2. The triangle points to Will all the time!
HELL YEAH! GONNA GET INTO THAT!
3. There’s a letter in the pocket! Hm. See, this is where I’m torn, because I love the idea, but also, I don’t think it… makes sense? Even folded up notebook paper (because it would have to be folded to fit) would be noticeably bulging (hate that word for…chronically online reasons) against the fabric and noticeably pushing it out. This anon I got a while back makes a good point, but I’m not a huge fan. I just feel that we would see the letter in the pocket, because even if (like the anon said) they’re planning on him having a letter, he wouldn’t have had it in that pocket because changes of clothes do exist, and after several sweat, dirt, blood and grime filled days in the same clothes, no matter how much of a teenager Mike is, he would one HUNDRED percent change out of that thing as soon as he had the chance. No point in keeping it around.
4. Triangle imagery = queercoding!
FUCK yes. The woman in charge of costume design literally said that she purposely incorporated triangle patterns and organization into Robin’s clothing, there’s absolutely zero reason to believe that she wouldn’t do that for other characters that are intended to be queer.
FUN PART NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just finished my fourth or fifth rewatch of season 4 today, and I noticed something kinda neat—it almost seems like there’s… two jackets?
I’ve talked before about my theory that they used interfacing in the pocket (because we know that it’s handmade) to draw our attention to it, and I stand by that based on the way that it moves—in certain scenes.
A fabric that’s reinforced with interfacing will bend, but it will NOT bend the normal way fabric does. It doesn’t quite follow the shape of your body—I mean, it will follow the curve roughly, but it’ll kinda make its own shape. I wish I had an example, but I don’t own any clothes with interfacing, aaand my mom already looked at me like I was insane when I ran in to bend the collar of my dad’s shirt to hopefully get an example, so. You’re just gonna have to take my word for it.
Tumblr media
For example- interfacing in the collar of his shirt to keep it stiff!
NOW, FOR A REFERENCE!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alright. Here’s a shirt made out of what I’d wager is a pretty similar fabric, although I think it’s slightly more flexible than what Mike is wearing. (If I see any of y’all insulting my fashion taste I Will End You)
When the fabric around it is scrunched, it keeps its shape, yes—but the fabric of the pocket creases slightly in places where it already had wrinkles. And what about when it’s actually on?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I hope you all know I bound my chest (at almost 11pm) so I could make this as accurate as possible without it getting in the way.
Anyways, see how when my arm is close to it, it bends? Mike’s only does this, like, half the time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a terribly blurry image, but you can see that the pocket is facing Argyle, and is bending perfectly naturally with his arm pressed up against the side of the shirt. It matches the shape of his pose, and it doesn’t look like there’s anything in there. Regular pocket! No interfacing!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Points to Jonathan, and it’s a little stiff, sure, but it's creasing pretty normal. Likely just a stiff jacket.
This one is,,, tricky. It looks pretty stiff, I’d agree.
Tumblr media
But look closely! The black lines are where it creases and wrinkles with the shape of the rest of the fabric, and the white traces how the shape of the pocket follows the shape of the edge of his shirt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And oh, my favorite ever example (and the reason I’m looking into this to begin with) <3 that pocket is moving NORMALLY and it’s facing EL!!!!! RIGHT AS HE’S SUPPOSEDLY ABOUT TO SAY ILY!!!!!!!!
But let’s look at some examples where it IS facing Will.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NOW THATS AN INTERFACED BEND! JUST A LITTLE BIT TOO PERFECTLY CURVED! Notice the difference between how it’s bending in this versus when he’s with El in the last example! (of course, the difference in pose should also be accounted for, but still. That is HEAVILY drastic.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
FUCKKKKKKK YEAH BAYBEE
Tumblr media
STIFF! ASS! POCKET! I mean, it’s nearly straight (heh), whereas Will’s is way more curved. They’re both slouching and facing the same direction.
Tumblr media
(Tracing isn’t perfect but my point still stands.)
Anyways, I fully believe that there’s two copies of this jacket—one for scenes with Will on Mike’s left, in order to draw attention to the triangle/arrow; and one for scenes without him. Thoughts?

— eyeliner • f.w
Tumblr media
pairing: Finn wolfhard x reader
summary: Finn wants to wear eyeliner by himself as expected, it's a disaster. But fret not, y/n is there to the rescue.
warning: fluff, eyeliner.
Tumblr media
Finn was currently in your room doing an interview. He had told you beforehand not to call him or enter the room.
Doing as he told, you sat by yourself on the couch going through your phone although, the tv was playing some movie which you were too lazy to pay attention to.
"Y/n? Uh...I think this doesn't look good," Finn spoke.
You looked up from your phone and saw him standing infront of you. "Wait, when did you come in?"
He shook his head side to side. "Doesn't matter. But..." He drifted, pointing at his eyes.
It was then that you noticed his eyelids were black and smudged all over. Eyeliner.
After staring at him for sometime, you broke out laughing. Finn just stood there trying not to laugh at himself. "Hey! Don't laugh! Do you know how many minutes I had to spend to make this masterpiece?" He chuckled.
"Oh yeah, sure do bun. Come sit here, I'll get the makeup wipes and the eyeliner," you giggled, making him sit on the couch.
Coming back with all the necessary items, you sat beside him and began wiping off the smudged eyeliner. "I thought you were doing an interview?"
Finn sighed loudly. "I was but it ended quickly. I thought you it'd be nice to try something new. So, I watched a 18 minutes tutorial because I wanted to surprise you by wearing the eyeliner like a pro and make you gasp," he chuckled at his own thoughts.
"Oh my god. You're such a dork," you smiled, pecking him on the cheek.
After cleaning him up, you got your phone and showed him the different ways of wearing an eyeliner. "Okay, the options are, winged, cateye, double winged, arabic..." You showed the numerous eyeliner styles.
Finn sat there with his mouth hung open. How knew there were so many styles to choose from?
"Uhhhhh they're so many to choose from! I want a simple one", he huffed, pouting like a two year old.
"Okay okay Mr. Grumpy, we'll go for the simple, basic, one," you smiled.
With that you turned to face him on the couch, the pencil eyeliner in your hand. "Close your eyes," you instructed, focused on his eyes.
Although, his curls kept disturbing you from time to time. Falling over his eyes and blocking your view. "Your curls. Wear this," you handed him your wired hairband. "Woah it hurts behind my ears," he whined dramatically.
"Finn, I know you're acting. Wear it," you said with a serious face. "Okay okay, y/n, gee," he stopped talking, closing his eyes shut.
•••
After about ten to fifteen minutes you were done. Shifting back a bit, you admired your art. It looked so good on him.
"We're done. You can open your eyes now."
Finn, however, didn't open his eyes. "Finn? Babe, you asleep?"
He shook his head from side to side. "No. You have to give me a kiss. You made me angry," he pouted, placing his hands over his chest.
You giggled, kissing him on both the cheeks. "We good?"
"Yeah", he smiled. "Now, lemme see your work. If I'm satisfied enough, I'll cuddle you."
"You WILL cuddle me no matter what. But, here you go," you handed him the mirror.
He stared at himself for sometime inspecting his eyes. Then, he turned to you with a big smile. "Y/n I LOVE IT!" He attacked you with a hug making you both fall on the carpeted floor below.
"Ow ow," you winced as your head hit the floor. "You alright, y/n?" You could see the worry in his eyes.
"Got ya!" You laughed. He smiled looking down. "You scared me for a second there y/n!"
"Okay okay. But did you like it though?"
He smirked. "I've assigned you the job to do my eyeliner everytime I go to a fancy ass interview or meet."
You smiled brightly. "I accept the job, but every eyeliner look will cost you infinite number of cuddles and kisses."
"Deal."

Super Naturals
The wonder that is Stranger Things is at once a sweet story of simpler times and a spooky spin in the supernatural. For Netflix, the script by the Duffer brothers was a definite yes, as were the young actors whose bonds bedazzle on and off the set.
TATIANA SIEGEL
Tumblr media
On a hot March morning in Atlanta, Finn Wolfhard and Noah Schnapp are rehearsing a scene for season two of Stranger Things.
Outside Screen Gems Studios, the sky is relentlessly bright, with the thermometer inching toward 86 degrees. Inside, it’s as dark and cool and secret as a military bunker. Director Andrew Stanton offers some last minute guidance before the camera rolls.
Stanton, the two-time Oscar winner behind WALL-E and Finding Nemo, took an unconventional approach in preparing to direct episodes five and six. He rewatched season one with the volume off. It’s obvious that even the smallest gesture is crucial. He tells Schnapp to touch the back of his neck when he delivers the line about feeling a troubling sensation in the back of his head.
“I geek out over the little things,” he explains a few minutes later. “But the touch made it all the more creepy.”
Wolfhard and Schnapp are sitting on a bed in what viewers have come to recognize as the Byers’s home, the one with the mysterious blinking Christmas lights and the sinister wall that Winona Ryder attacked with an axe in episode four of season one.
A Jaws poster hangs above a bookcase. The pajama-clad Schnapp, playing Upside Down escapee Will Byers, hits his line: “It’s like a dream, and you can’t remember it unless you think about it really hard.” But he flubs the follow-up and slaps his hand angrily.
Wolfhard, playing series star Mike Wheeler, cut him off too late. “I’m waiting for my cue,” offers Wolfhard, wearing a buttoned-up polo shirt, corduroys, old-school Pumas and a hoodie. Stanton tells the 14-year-old: “It’s okay if you don’t cut him off.”
Schnapp later explains his momentary frustration. “I just get angry when I mess up. It’s a professional business. It’s no game,” he says, sounding more like a seasoned thesp than a 12-year-old who will head to French, math and English classes at the on-set school later that day.
Back on set, the boys repeat the scene, this time for the camera. The dialogue is flawless, but now there’s a boom in the shot. So Wolfhard and Schnapp do it again. Three more times without a mistake, each time from a different angle.
“They rehearsed that only two times, and they nailed it,” Stanton marvels. “That’s a really long scene. They are just that good.”
As they prepare to break, Wolfhard and Schnapp face one another and begin slapping and clapping hands in a fixed pattern, chanting, “Concentration… 64.…” Are they prepping for the next scene? Some sort of protective charm against a mysterious foe? Nah. They’re just kids blowing off steam. Something Mike and Will would do, too.
Call it Hollywood’s version of the Upside Down, the inexplicable, parallel universe of Stranger Things. After all, who would have wagered on five unknown kids, a long-neglected Ryder and then–32-year-old twin brothers with few prospects to launch one of the most talked-about series of 2016?
But within days of its July 15 debut, the ’80s-set Stranger Things — created by Ross and Matt Duffer and led by Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Schnapp — quickly became a pop-culture phenomenon, complete with a Barack Obama–hosted White House visit in October and even a shout-out from a congressman on the House floor in February.
The series notched surprise wins for best drama ensemble at the SAG Awards and top drama series at the PGA Awards (beating out heavyweight Game of Thrones for both honors). Netflix aired a season-two spot during this year’s Super Bowl that drew more than 14 million views on YouTube.
And according to Google, Stranger Things was the most-searched-for show of 2016 around the world (it streams in 190 countries).
Still, the path to success wasn’t so linear. In 2014, the Duffer brothers were struggling writer-directors with only the unreleased horror film Hidden to their credit (the pic eventually was released straight-to-DVD). As they remember it, Stranger Things was envisioned as a movie, an homage to “the two Stevens/Stephens with different spellings — Spielberg and King,” Matt Duffer says.
They were making the rounds, taking studio meetings, “and people would ask us our movie ideas,” Ross Duffer adds. “And they weren’t very interested in any movie ideas that we had.”
They owed Warner Bros. a script and asked if they could adapt Stephen King’s It, a Stranger Things–esque book that the studio was developing with Cary Fukunaga attached to direct. “We didn’t even get in the room,” Matt Duffer recalls. “They said no.”
Undeterred, they embarked on writing Stranger Things , pivoting mediums from film to TV. But it was a difficult recalibration, given their lifelong obsession with movies, from E.T. to Jaws to Close Encounters of the Third Kind. “Growing up, I associated television with Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Like, I’m done with my homework and it’s something to pass the time,” Ross Duffer explains.
But after seeing the trailer for HBO’s True Detective — directed by Fukunaga — and finding it more enticing than 90 percent of the movies in theaters, Matt Duffer says it dawned on them that “this is actually the cooler place to be right now, given the current state of the industry.”
Coming of age in their native North Carolina in the mid-’90s, the Duffers didn’t have a basement like the Wheelers, nor any friends with telekinetic powers. But the goal was simple: to make a viewer feel the same as when he or she cracked open a big, fat King book.
“The first thing we wrote was the Dungeons & Dragons scene because it was so close to our experiences growing up,” Ross Duffer says. “We had a room over our garage, which was just not as cinematic. I wish our house looked like that. I wish a telepathic girl had dropped into our lives.”
They sent the pilot script around but found no takers until it landed on the right desk at Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps Entertainment, where senior vice-president Dan Cohen read it and immediately alerted Levy. Without hesitation, Cohen and Levy signed on to executive-produce the series — then titled Montauk — alongside the Duffers.
“Talent is talent. It’s just waiting for someone to bet on it,” Levy says. “We wanted to bet.”
So, too, did Netflix, which ordered the supernatural drama in April 2015. Casting would be key, potentially the separation between cheesy and brilliant.
The idea to target Ryder — a two-time Oscar nominee who rose to It Girl status in the ’80s but whose career had cooled considerably in the new millennium — to play a single mother trying to track down her missing tween was an early stroke of genius from casting director Carmen Cuba.
The Duffers and Levy invited Ryder to tea at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont for a conversation that lasted several hours and ranged from secret government testing to missing children. “I remember Winona: ‘What is this new kind of television on your computer?’” Levy says with a laugh. “We left that tea slightly exhausted but quite certain this was our Joyce Byers.”
But finding the right kids proved to be far more exhaustive, with the Duffers and Levy seeing some 1,000 aspirants. The trick was finding kids who looked “regular” and not like slick child actors.
Gaten Matarazzo, a stage actor from New Jersey whose Broadway credits included Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Les Misérables, was the first cast, as Dustin Henderson, the perpetually picked-on boy with a lisp.
Next was Millie Bobby Brown, who landed the breakout role of Eleven, the buzz-cut waif with psychokinetic abilities. The British actress says she perfected an American accent by watching TV and just observing people. After sending a self-tape to Cuba, she was asked to provide another and another and still another. She wouldn’t allow herself to get her hopes up, though.
“I always get really close on something,” Brown says, then it’s, “‘Oh, we’re picking the other girl because….’” But the series of tapes led to a Skype call and then a trip to L.A., where she won over the Duffer brothers.
McLaughlin, another Broadway actor who played Young Simba in The Lion King, nabbed the role of Lucas Sinclair, the member of the gang most suspicious of Eleven’s arrival.
Then came Schnapp, whose screen time in season one is limited but who plays a significant role in season two. The angel-faced boy with an uncanny resemblance to Ryder (his screen mom) recalls coming to L.A. for a so-called chemistry test and being paired with McLaughlin.
Fortunately, the two suburban New Yorkers already had bonded at the hotel pool. But Schnapp returned home without the job and headed to upstate New York for sleepover camp, where he was allowed only three incoming phone calls.
One day, his mother called with the Duffer brothers on the line. “I’m like, ‘Who’s Will?’ ‘Cause I didn’t know what they were talking about,” he says. “And then I realized it was ‘cause I originally auditioned for Mike when I auditioned for the role. And I started freaking out. It brightened the rest of my summer.”
Wolfhard was last. The Vancouver native, who started acting at eight, was sick in bed when he did his self-tape, which was “super out of focus, my dad’s finger was in the frame, super unprofessional.” But the Duffers loved it and Skyped with Wolfhard, then flew him to L.A. twice over a two-week period. But two months passed with no word.
“Out of nowhere, I got a call from Matt saying that I got the part, and that was really, really cool,” Wolfhard says of landing the lead. Ironically, Wolfhard was available to tackle the series only because Fukunaga had just dropped out of King’s It.
Wolfhard already had landed the role of Richie Tozier in that film, which was now suddenly on hold. It eventually recovered with Andrés Muschietti in the director’s chair, and Wolfhard was able to fit the project in between seasons of Stranger Things. It will hit theaters in September, some seven weeks before the second-season debut of Stranger Things on Halloween night.
To prepare their Fab Five, the Duffers assigned a list of movies to watch, including E.T., The Goonies, Jaws and Poltergeist. But nothing could equip the young stars for the show’s rabid fandom.
“On my Instagram,” McLaughlin says, “[it’s] like, ‘Brazil loves you.’ People from all around the world… France, Mexico, Africa...”
Brown says she never tires of the fervor surrounding Eleven. “I don’t really want to call them my fans. They’re kind of like my friends,” says the 13-year-old. “And I can’t say no to a picture. Obviously, I would do the same thing to Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. This 90-year-old came up and he was like, ‘I love you!’ It was really sweet.”
Perhaps most important was the vote of approval that came from Mr. King himself. The author tweeted several thumbs-ups in July, including: “STRANGER THINGS is pure fun. A+. Don’t miss it. Winona Ryder shines.”
Of course, an email exchange with the Duffer brothers ensued. “It took me four hours to write a five-sentence email,” Matt Duffer jokes. “I had to check the grammar with all my writers. I was very nervous about it.”
The kids also are enjoying the perks of being labeled TV sensations, including hanging with people they’ve long admired. Matarazzo singles out a meeting with Sarah Paulson. “She’s a wonderful person, and to hear compliments from her, it was, like, ‘wow,’” he says, sounding rather grown up for a 14-year-old.
For the 15-year-old McLaughlin, nothing compares to getting feedback from President Obama. “He’s like, ‘I like the bond the boys have on the show. They never gave up looking for their friend.’”
That dynamic the president noticed isn’t just a put-on for the cameras. Wolfhard and Matarazzo frequently hit the multiplex in tandem and caught Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens together. McLaughlin and Matarazzo compete against each other in video games. Retro ’80s games, naturally. “Pac-Man, yeah. I’m even wearing the Pac-Man shirt,” he says, pointing at his street clothes.
Brown, who describes herself as “a real girl’s girl in pink and pearls and rings and necklaces,” has managed to fit in with the boys by taking up whiffle ball. She and Schnapp have formed a close friendship. “Noah comes around almost every weekend for sleepovers,” she says. “We watch really scary movies on Netflix like The Babadook and Hush.”
Ultimately, they all are sharing in a secret that is being guarded more closely than a Project MKUltra experiment being carried out at the fictitious Hawkins Laboratory: what will happen in season two.
As evidence of the major secrecy involved this year, Building 5 — where a camera test is about to take place with a new character — is off-limits to press today. Day players and non-essential crew also are cleared. Only hair and makeup and a few key crewmembers remain. Keeping a lid on potential spoilers is serious business.
“My brother always asks me, ‘Gate, can you send me the script?’” Matarazzo says. “I’m like, ‘It’s a new season, and it’s a lot stricter than last year.’ He read them last year, but this year he’s not able to ‘cause we don’t want any, like, hacking interference.”
Hacking, indeed. The danger serves as a jarring reminder of today’s less-than-innocent times — and explains part of the appeal of Stranger Things: it harks back to an era not long ago but definitely out of reach, when people made eye contact, kids tore through neighborhoods on their bikes unsupervised and no one was enslaved by a beeping device.
Schnapp says his father schooled him on the mindset of the ’80s. “They were always outside. It’s all phones and computers now. You know, I kind of miss the ‘80s. Even though I wasn’t alive,” he says with a laugh, catching his own absurdity.
But viewers of Stranger Things — be they 12 or 90 — understand that universal feeling.

Actual Concrete S5 predictions from me
I feel like I've been fucking around with trying to figure out possible groupings for the next season, so I'm actually gonna go into what EVENTS I think are going to take place next season. Well, more like ONE event I know is gonna happen.
Will Getting Vecna'd (in some capacity):
I first felt like this would be too obvious, because Will has already been possessed before, but the evidence points directly to it. I don't think it will be the same as other Vecna possessions, namely because Will has a different bond with Vecna than Max and his other victims did. But, again, I'm like 90% sure its gonna happen. Why?
Tumblr media
This image right here ! This image was posted by Noah before vol 2 dropped (I believe), and everyone assumed that vol 2 would have Will getting Vecna'd but that never actually happened.
And I will acknowledge the possibility that this could just be a joke made by Noah and he tried it on just to take a picture, but that also seems unlikely imo. Like I feel like these harnesses would probably be expensive and hard to get into yourself, so they wouldn't just let him run off with one? But I'm not involved in the production of ST so idk.
Actually, just realizing this as I go back to edit this point, Noah isn't wearing Will's clothes at all. He's wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. In the show he wears a blue long-sleeve undershirt and tan colored jeans (which you may be able to see in the bottom right corner of the mirror) alongside his yellow flannel.
Tumblr media
Sadie doesn't wear Max's clothes here when she's harnessed up. This was in a rehearsal, not the actual thing. But I would imagine that they would A. maybe put their clothes back on in post-production (though this seems kind of unlikely) or B. have them dress in layers as to hide the harness and knee/elbow pads the best they can.
Will's actual outfit clearly being in frame in Noah's photo could mean he was going to put it on over the clothes he is wearing.
Tumblr media
The second piece of evidence is this footage which shows the actor for Lonnie Byers at the table read.
Now, we don't see Lonnie at all during season 4. It's possible that there's maybe a cut scene with him in it, like a flashback? But I have no idea where they would put it. They don't show anyone in the Byers family having flashbacks in S4, and they're probably the only ones who would have any involving him.
Lonnie being present means we'll probably see him again. And because I don't think he would put in any effort into reconnecting with his kids he abandoned 5+ years ago, it's gotta have to happen in a memory, or flashback, or nightmare, or hallucination.
And who do we know that uses people's past trauma to get into their brains?
Tumblr media
This queen right here!!
Now I know what you're wondering. If we're gonna see Lonnie in a Vecna-vision in S5, why was he at a table read for S4?
This leads me into my next theory:
Parts of S5 have already been scripted and filmed.
NOW HEAR ME OUT. This theory makes a lot of sense if you really think about it.
First of all, the production of S4 was delayed significantly by COVID. This left the writers with more time to potentially work on the S5 script.
Another huge hurdle for the crew of ST was the kids getting older. Nearly 3 years passed in between the end of filming S3 and the end of filming S4. Their characters were only supposed to age like 6 months.
Because of this, they tried multiple ways to make them appear younger, through wardrobe and even asking them make their voices higher.
They knew it was gonna take them at least another year or two before they could get to filming S5, and the actors would age more in that time. I mean, look at Finn Wolfhard. He already looks nothing like he did in S4.
The Duffers have stated that there was no way for it to not pick up where they left off.
Tumblr media
Because of their insistence to shoot back to back, it's safe to say assume something happens right after S4 ends.
But I think they must have come to a compromise, where they inserted a time jump some time after that.
Lonnie's actor being present in the S4 table read and Noah in a harness (with the flannel he wears in the final episode) are kind of hard to explain if this isn't true.
Originally people thought a time jump would occur after episode 4 of S5, but I do think it's unrealistic for them to have already filmed half of S5. I do think it's feasible that they've maybe filmed episode 1 of S5, or they filmed parts of S5 that they want to play in flashbacks or just play in a non-linear fashion.
Tumblr media
They finished this grid awfully quickly, and have said many times before that they already had most of S5 blocked out. I don't think it's super unrealistic for them to have scenes in mind that needed to be filmed asap to fit in with the story. This grid was probably more of a way to determine what part of the story fits in where.
Suffice to say, there's something fishy going on here.
Predictions:
I think Will will have some type of contact with Vecna right where S4 ends. Not necessarily being Vecna-d, but something to lift him in the air which would require a harness. I think Vecna would want to use his memories of Lonnie to turn him against his friends and family.
I think that Will may join him with the intention of double crossing him. This would bring the "super-spy" scenario back full circle.
But no matter how we look at it, Will being Vecna'd seems inevitable.
