I'm ALMOST certain that Rick Riordan based certain aspects of Meg on Agnes from Despicable Me

1- An orphan child raised by a grumpy guy

2- A grumpy guy who has problems with his boss

3- He stops chasing the boss's attention thanks to her

4- Their relationship is super difficult at first and they don't communicate in the same way

5- But with a lot of time and dedication, a friendship blossoms, and with this cute union he gives her a unicorn 🦄

6- Agnes/Meg is OBSESSED with unicorns

7- And finally, Agnes is the bravest of the sisters, just as Meg is the bravest of her brothers

Margot is very cautious and Edith likes to scare, but it is Agnes who manages to tame Gru's weeeeeird dog 👹

Pumpkin: Pedro Pascal x female reader

You and Pedro try to help your daughter find a Halloween costume.

WARNINGS: none just plain fluff and trying to help your daughter find a Halloween costume.

"Okay. 1, 2, 3, … come show daddy!"

Your 3-year-old, Lyla, comes barreling from around the corner, in her miniature pumpkin costume. She stops in front of where Pedro is seated on the couch, twirling around to hear his approval.

It was only October 3rd, but Halloween has always been a massive deal in the household, even more so with the arrival of your eldest daughter.

What once consisted of cheesy couple costumes and going out with friends has turned into cheesy family costumes and trick-or-treating.

You personally were beyond excited for this year, seeing how Lyla was finally old enough to understand how Halloween works.

Your husband finally uncovers his eyes and coos at the sight of his daughter.

He leans down to pick her up, both laughing from the happiness of being in each other's presence. It was no secret to anyone that Lyla was a huge Daddy's girl,

only wanting to be around her father from the minute she was born. It was no different on Pedro's side, having wrapped him around her chubby, miniature finger the moment he looked into her wide, hazel eyes.

The two are inseparable, and while jealousy might creep in from time to time, you're still undeniably grateful that Pedro is as overwhelmingly devoted to Lyla as he is.

“You two are so cute!" You melt, watching the two mess around.

"So cute, Mommy!" Lyla confirms, giggling at the raspberries Pedro is blowing onto her cheeks. Pedro reaches out for your waist, pulling you to join them on the couch.

"What do you think, Lyla? Do you like this one?" You ask, watching as she tilts her head in thought. She's always been annoyingly independent for her age, so this year,

you allowed her full control of picking her costume. You bought a ton and figured you could always just return the rejects. So far, she's on costume 6 out of 10, and you're just praying she makes a decision soon, so you don't have to make another trip to the Halloween store. Unfortunately, she shakes her head no and hops out of both your laps.

"Why not, bug? I thought you wanted to be a pumpkin like Charlie Brown." Pedro asks gently, hoping to sway his daughter into making a decision. He had given up his Saturday to watch his daughter play dress up, and while there wasn't much that he wouldn't do for Lyla, he was more than ready to move on with the day.

"No, Daddy. I want to be a ghost-like Charlie Brown." Lyla corrects, rolling her eyes like she couldn't believe her father's mistake. Pedro swears she picked up that habit from you.

"But you didn't like the ghost costume either," Pedro whines, growing frustrated with the toddler's indecisiveness. He loves his daughter endlessly, but three hours of costume-picking is enough to irritate anyone.

"Okay, Lyla. Why don't you go to your room and put on the next costume? It's the Tiana one, remember!" You suggest softly. Lyla perks up at the mention of her favorite princess and runs back into her room, leaving you and Pedro alone. You settle into his side, twisting his wedding band out of habit.

"You know she gets that from you, right?" He says. You snort, turning to look at him.

"That's funny because she's your shadow. If anything, she's all you." He laughs at your response, pulling you so you're even closer to him. You both look at each other for a moment, before he lets out a breath of air.

"Is it crazy that I want another one?" He asks softly. You pause, not saying anything to interrupt wherever your husband's mind is headed. "Like, I love the three of us, but what if we could do it again? You know the diapers, the first words, first steps, arguing with them over their own Halloween costume?" He gestures around him at that.

Your heart swells. Admittedly, you had been thinking about having another baby now that Lyla is starting to get older. You've started missing having a newborn in the house but were unsure how to bring it up to your husband, worried that he might reject you. However, you should've suspected that Pedro "I want a football team of children" would be itching to have another kid soon.

"Do you really want this?" You ask, making sure this isn't a whim before you tell him what you think.

"Well, I mean, really, it's up to you. But yeah, it would be nice to have another mini-running around here. Plus, Lyla would love to have a friend." He offers, already placing his hand over your stomach.

"I have always wanted a boy." You must, already picture future siblings and matching Halloween costumes. Pedro brightens at this, pulling you into a hug with small tears forming in his eyes. He pulls away to slightly wipe his eyes before he hears the tiny pitter-patter of feet coming down the hallway.

"What's wrong, daddy?" Lyla questions, concern written all over her tiny face from seeing her father's tears. She walks towards Pedro in a green, sparkly dress with a plush frog under her arms, reaching up for him to pull her into his lap.

"Nothing bug, just happy I have everything I've ever wanted." He admits, pulling Lyla up to join your two's huddle. And with the two loves of your life in your arms, you agree.

My Percy Jackson headcanons/rewrite

Percy's a femme trans woman who's strong admiration for the other female characters is half fueled by gender envy and her type of femmeness is very distinctively tgirl.She's pastel punk,has zero tolerance for 'boys being boys' and physically transitioning(via Persephone gifting her Metamorphose,food that's been blessed by Aphrodite to give the eater their ideal apperance)boosted her self-confidence big time and she was into skating as a little kid but gave it up as the trauma set it as she grew up but got back into it as part of her healing journey.Sally is the most supportive mom any trans person could ever ask for and Thalia is the reason she went punk thanks to her being transfem too and helping her settle into her gender and she chose the middle name 'Amelia' so they could match(And her full first name was changed to Persephone as a thank you to the og)

She's bi but dosen't wanna date and wants to just vibe instead

Sharks and cats are her comfort animals

She's autistic and her special interests are blue,video games and kidcore,she has meowing as a vocal stim(insert catgirl joke here),she loves legos to the ends of multiple dimensions,her safe foods are blue food and McDonalds,she almost never stutters when she infodumps no matter for how long and she never once thought she could be autistic despite the unbelivably obvious symptoms because she dosen't fall under any stereotypes

She hates Poseidon and once held Riptide to his crotch for trying to get mushy with her

Big potty mouth

Was almost a Special Ed kid but Sally convinced the teachers to not put her in it after Percy had a meltdown over her mentioning the posibility of it due to how bad her internalized ableism was already.She regrets it to this day,mourning the friends she could've made

She's scared of older men because of Luke and he was never the hero of the prophecy,it was always her,and she was the one to kill him to avenge everyone,including herself,and save the world

Nico's crush on her faded when his own transness made him realize she is too and they spent the year between BOTL and TLO becoming found siblings and they help eachother with their hair(he's black too)and he's the one who got her addicted to McDonalds and she introduced him to Mcr and him to her Animal Crossing but everybody thinks it's the other way around.Persephone asked them to ressurect Hazel because she'd be one of the best choice's for the Seven and she helped her settle into her new world and taught both of them how to skate and now they call themselves 'The Dead Sea Siblings'

She's built like a DC Comics heroine back when they knew how to draw women most of the time-That is to say,curvy and busty but also thick in build with strong muscles so it's realistic

Was almost viciously protective of Tyson when everyone started bullying him for being a Cyclops and showered him in hugs and kisses when he cried about their treatment

Thalia gave her a pastel blue patches jacket which has the trans and dominican flags and a mermaid to represent Sally and her loved ones gifted her an assortment of different pins

She's an eldest daughter without eldest daughter syndrome because Sally knows how to parent and a Team Mom because she was raised by the mom of all time

The gods call her 'Young Persephone'

She was a Cartoon Network and Nickeloden kid who's faves were always Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Blues Clues and she had no clue what the hype around Zuko crushing was but finds him peak relatability now

Her favorite Disney Princesses are Tiana and Brandy's Cinderella and she thinks the Ariel jokes the Stolls make about her are annoying as shit

Her gray streak faded to white so she dyes it sea blue to not raise suspicioun in the mortal world

She loves indie media,be it comics or shows or games

Her and Rachel are the definition of 'Girl Best Friends' but unironically.They have matching friendship bracelets with eachother's names on them,hang out at the mall,Rachel spoils her with her dad's money,Sally thinks of her as a third daughter,Percy brings her trinkets she finds and they go to protests and do charity work together

She never goes to college and instead just becomes a McDonalds employee to give her little siblings special priviliges because school is too hard for her and she's okay with that by then

She owns a pair of blue strawberry earrings with pastel pink leaves

Persephone and Sally fall in love over the course of Persephone's visits to her in Hoo to check up on how she was doing without Percy and this culminates in her plan to kill Hades succeeding and becoming the solo ruler of the Underworld with Sally as her consort and wife.Percy is now a junior and her,Nico and Hazel are siblings squared

Her,the rest of the Seven,Grover,Thalia,Clarisse,Nico and Reyna are known as 'The Second Argonauts'

LO going off again about how the 'harassment' she got is gonna keep her from doing a video about Grace from Infinity Train and honestly I'm glad she's not touching it. It's a great show and although Grace is a great character, knowing Lily she'd reduce everything complicated about Grace down to just "she's a pretty black woman and the whole show should have been focused on her and her alone." the main reason she's likely not interested in doing the show is probably because there's no underage lesbians and no sisters to project onto.

lately she has been using the "people are harassing me so i won't make this video!" tactic for a while now, did you all noticed? she did the same thing with the Tiana video and she just made it anyway. it might be a complete coincidence, but i did noticed too that Grace and Tiana would be about black women and the only videos in which she tries to pull this. i don't know if she's looking for validation to talk about black female characters from her audience or something, but it's weird regardless. i already know that a video from her is going to be 80% complaining about simon, 20% complaining about how the creators must hate black women because Grace is not treated like an untouchable uwu baby and at least sprinkled somewhere she's going to go "look at the babu! isn't she the most precious thing you have ever seen!" in reference to Hazel. none of that necesarily would make a bad video. simon is an interesting character to hate on or talk about and Hazel is adorable. but LO is so conflict adverse and her weird standards of what counts as misogyny (discounting how she herself is misogynistic), that can be summarized as "women go through any conflict or struggle? this can only be bigotry at play", not to mention her white guilt ridden obssesion to "call out" white male characters and give them more attention than anything else will make a mess of a video already that, frankly, won't really add anything new to the conversation. oh, and she surely will completely ommit talking at all about the monstruous treatment that infinity train got and/or blame it somehow on the creators rather than the company that quite literally betrayed them. god forbid that LO, as a supposed leftist, ever speaks against capitalism and corporations.
