A reminder that Spinner canonically compares himself to Dabi and feels inferior to the rest of the League of Villains.

Part of the reason he allowed AFO to manipulate him is because he wanted to be reliable, as in he wanted to be stronger to be of use to Tomura. So again, he's canonically kinda jealous not only of Dabi's quirk, but of him as a person.

Thinking about Riz GukGak once again taking stress for other people, not needing to take any himself (at least yet. We haven’t seen the mystery roll yet), who is doing a million things at the same time and who can’t even just have a casual chat with his mum, and who still might fail at getting to college due to things out of his control

Thinking about Fabian setting up a spa day at his house to try and help his friends relax, which no one makes use off, so while the house is full of nurses, it’s not filled with people that can help make it a home

Thinking about Adaine helping Gorgug with barbarian classes by getting him to yell at her, because while she will never ask for help herself and admit things are going wrong, she is still ready to reach out and help other people

Thinking about Gorgug hitting a wall with artificing, but he’s trying and he’s keeping his head above water for now, and it’s soon gonna get better he promises cause he finally got his MCAT, only to come home and find a baked good and a reminder that he let down Gorbag and Roz

Slightly feral about the way Reva, beyond her personal grudge, also comes into the story as the embodied rage of all those slain younglings.

Which creates an extra layer of tragedy to how Reva couldn’t even land a hit on him in their duel. Because there was nothing she or the other children could do protect themselves or their friends during Order 66.

With Reva we get something that has to some extent been missing until now. Reva gives a voice and face to all the younglings that fell victim to Order 66. The ones that didn’t make it. We’ve seen quite a few survivors like Cal Kestis, Ahsoka, Kanan Jarrus and Grogu. Reva on the other hand connects herself to those that died, those who were betrayed and didn’t have the luck to escape or be saved.

“What Jedi gave their life so that you might live?”

“We thought he was there to help us”

Because the one who was meant to save and protect them, was instead the one cutting them down.

Those last few moments before Vader stabs her just hammers it home, with the cuts to flashback, the vulnerable look on her face, his own words. Anakin Skywalker, murderer of children he had the duty to protect. Then, and now.

Like ideally I want Rand to be the first one to say the name “Mierin” to Lanfear’s face, but after that I want them to just get mad at each other in a meeting and start aggressively referring to each other by their first names just piss each other off

Whenever I'm rereading Tenko's past and I reach that part when he's on the floor over everything that happened to him and Doc Garaki looks at AFO and goes "should I fix him?"

The horror I FEEL. They're looking at a 5 years old and wondering if they should erase his emotions to "perfect him". Doc Garaki is stripping him of his humanity in such a casual way. Should I fix him? like he's broken for suffering over the death of his family, for grieving , for feeling conflicted because he is free of the house that abused him but they are all gone and he misses them.

They're about to change his name and surname and convince him that he was born to destroy and live in misery. They are about to cover him with the hands of his deceased family. They are about to offer killing people as comfort, nurturing the hole of hatred and rage in his chest for their own plans, but it isn't enough damage? Torture?

Should I fix him?

I'm sorry. It makes me want to cry. He's 5 years old. He has no one. His family failed him. Society failed him. Not even Overhaul was that cruel with Eri. Not even Endeavor was that cruel with Touya. No one has ever been that cruel in the bnha world.

He's offering to nomufy a 5 years old.

ok so i was skeptical before but now i'm like a solid 85% sure that odalia is the one responsible for the animosity between alador and darius. like she isolated alador from his children for years for her own financial gain, i have no doubt that she would do the same to him with darius. i don't think she ever really liked alador so much as she liked his power and the potential she saw in him.

if you look at her face she doesn’t even look proud, she has this sinister “i can work with this” expression. i think maybe alador didn’t want to compete with darius in school because they were friends but odalia turned them against each other so that way alador would rise to the top (and would bring her up alongside him). a rivalry between the two would’ve made alador work harder when he had something to prove, someone to spite. odalia knew this and ran with it. and alador was none the wiser.

anyways congrats to alador on the divorce, now he needs to go find his boyfriend
