You don't have to tolerate pain in silence to prove strength. You don't have to carry all your problems and hurt alone. Admitting you're in pain is not the same as admitting defeat. It doesn't make you a quitter, it doesn't make you weaker, it makes you human.

Reaching Out is Enchanting Grom Fright’s sequel
In the morning, Luz is reminded by her phone of some unresolved pain with one of her parents in the human world. Luz tries to deny it, and the discovery of a new spell is only a minor consolation.
Luz keeps trying to avoid her pain and even joins in Amity’s activity as a distraction, but is eventually called out on her problems. Luz can only make it through by accepting Amity’s help.
Eda and King have a subplot with one of Luz’s illusion friends, in which King personally relates to him on appreciating serious attention. The twins’ respective fears are addressed.
Amity has some baggage of her own (but while this and Lumity are seemingly the main focus of the episode, it turns out to really be about Luz and her parent).
This flirty look from behind the glyphs, Amity is spun around by Luz in her dress.
A giant monster forms out of control and needs the might of a strengthened relationship, combining spells into a larger abomination, to take it down.
It’s an annual public event that Eda has been to before, where a winner is crowned and participants train and fight. One of the kids joins to prove themselves to their parent, though things don’t go as planned, due to an angry parent atop a goop monster; Eda comes to the rescue!
The plant glyph plus Amity’s abomination proves integral to the resolution.
The Lumity tree!
We find out what Camila and Vee were up to, as the episode ends!

[Spoilers for S2 E14 of the owl house]
In this episode Luz is trying to deal with being apart from her mother on the anniversary of her dad's death day. This episode hurts my heart a lot, as I have unfortunately... gone through similar situations as Luz
But a smaller detail I notice some people miss is her reaction to the Abomiton's alarm going off after she set it off. She looks panicked, and yells "get out of my head!" Which is an odd response if you think about it. There's the possibility that what's happening here is it just sounds like her phones alarms. But in my opinion she responds like this because it sounds kind of similar to an ambulance. And her father passed away from some sort of illness and was brought to the hospital. So it can be assumed the sound of sirens similar to this would cause a sort of trauma response
This has been Chaos rambling, thanks for reading :)

i NEED to talk about this photo.
first- young Alador is the cutest. He looks happy and healthy and just won the bonesborough brawl, and he also has a ponytail!
second- Darius is booing Alador (which is adorable)
third- Odalia is a bitch but she looks strangely proud of alador? Makes me wonder if they're dating at this point.
LASTLY-- RAINE AND EDA IN THE BACKGROUND. Goofing off together and having fun while watching the brawl. I spent a couple minutes staring at them and realized that Eda has a carton of popcorn which she has been throwing at Raine. My heart I-

I need someone to hold my hand and say "everything is going to be okay". And I think someone out there reading this might need it too. This is me, reaching out. Our hands are full of sorrow, but they can hold better the weight of the burdens we carry, so we don't have to hold them on our own. We don't have to suffer in silence. This is me holding your hand and saying "everything will be okay."
