congratulations to the owl house for not only making the coven heads all gay as hell, but making each coven head an individual flavor of gay

between the kindness he showed eda in thems the breaks kid and the fact that he's now standing with his army of rebel kids with no fear or hesitation, i think we can all agree that bump is the best fictional principal ever

ok so i was skeptical before but now i'm like a solid 85% sure that odalia is the one responsible for the animosity between alador and darius. like she isolated alador from his children for years for her own financial gain, i have no doubt that she would do the same to him with darius. i don't think she ever really liked alador so much as she liked his power and the potential she saw in him.
if you look at her face she doesn’t even look proud, she has this sinister “i can work with this” expression. i think maybe alador didn’t want to compete with darius in school because they were friends but odalia turned them against each other so that way alador would rise to the top (and would bring her up alongside him). a rivalry between the two would’ve made alador work harder when he had something to prove, someone to spite. odalia knew this and ran with it. and alador was none the wiser.
anyways congrats to alador on the divorce, now he needs to go find his boyfriend

One thing I love about Eda and Raine is the immediate forgiveness they both have for each other. They haven’t seen each other in twenty years and the last time they did was their breakup, but yet their first interaction is that both of them save each other (Raine by stopping the coven scout from grabbing Eda, and Eda by helping the four bards escape), and then they’re back to bantering and teasing each other.
Then after Eda tells the story of how they met in “Them’s the Breaks, Kid” she looks at the sky and says out loud, “Oh, Raine…you’d better be okay.” She isn’t even slightly angry that Raine and her dueled and that they pushed her away at the Coven Day parade; instead, she’s concerned about their safety.
When they finally meet up again in “O Titan, Where Art Thou,” plenty of people in the fandom expected Eda to be angry with Raine for lying to her even if it was to keep her safe, especially since their breakup was about her not being honest with them. Instead, she looks slightly awed at the affection it evinces that Raine cared so much about protecting her.
So many changes for miscommunication, anger, and hurt between the two of them, and instead it blossoms naturally into immediate forgiveness and understanding.

A Stone for Yes, A Stick for No (Either Way We Break a Bone) - @color-palettes
TTBK my beloved. Truly the last drop of fluff before the angst fest of the next few episodes :,3
Aight let’s begin to catch up on these drawings. This one was a pain and a half to do. Not really because of the drawing itself, but i nearly lost it to a blue screen and then somehow i lost half of the sketch separatedly from the blue screen thing (i lost all of Raine when i had already done the lineart for their head so the sketch was gone but the lineart stayed somehow). But everything turned out okay at the end
