A while back, after i saw The Batman (2022) for the third time, my sister and i decided to watch all the Batman movies we could get put our hands on, going backwards from The Dark Knight Rises. This means that, along with TDKR, i watched Batman Forever for the very first time with no idea what to expect, other than it had Jim Carrey in it.
and then I watched it two more times, which is frankly, probably a higher concentration of Jim Carrey than is likely healthy, but nevertheless....
I think I liked it.
I mean I feel personally attacked by Val Kilmer which is a very unexpected and recent discovery for me, but it's quite shocking the nuance with which he handles Bruce Wayne in what otherwise is a film that verges on spoof territory.
But still I felt so conflicted about the pros vs the cons, I decided, on my third watch, to actually do a pro/con analysis on a +5/-5 scale and add up the good and bad respectively with everything I love adding to the positive score and everything I hated adding to the negative.
These are my commentary and results
To start I judged the standard aspects of the Batman film (the cast and the visual interpretations of the standard accouterments: Batmobile, batsuit, batcave etc.)
- Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne: +5
- Val Kilmer as Batman: +2 (I scored them differently because honestly the performance out of the suit is significantly better than that IN the suit. I feel like this is because Kilmer accepted the role without reading the script. With the way Bruce was written as a character I think he knew what he was doing, but as far as Batsy was concerned I think he was in way over his head and was given way more dumbass one-liners than he bargained for. That's not his fault, but that doesn't make the performance more comfortable)
- Jim Carrey as Edward Nygma/The Riddler: +2
- Tommy Lee Jones as "Two-Face" Harvey Dent: -3 (on his own, he probably would have gotten only a -1 because i don't really care for the performance but it wasn't bad on its own; but I docked two extra points because Joel Shumacher and WB fucked-over Billy Dee Williams and we don't forgive that shit in this house)
- Michael Gough as Alfred Pennyworth: +5 (guys, he might be my favorite Alfred)
- Nicole Kidman as Dr. Chase Meridian: -3 (this is a low score and that's not only because her characterization is NIGHTMARISHLY over-sexualized, but also because I know she was supposed to play Ivy originally and I feel robbed)
- Chris O'Donnell as Dick Grayson/Robin: +4 (unexpectedly delightful and super super cute.)
- Gotham Cityscape: -4 (CGI Green screen hell. Like sweet mother of Jefferson Davis this is bad)
Tumblr media
- Wayne Manor: +3
- The Batcave: +2
- The Batmobile: -3 (Worst one ever. This can rot in hell, I was glad when Nygma blew it up)
Tumblr media
- The Batsuit (Main/ With Nipples): +3
- The Batsuit (Finale/ Without Nipples) +3 (note that both batsuits got the same positive score. The nipples were not that big a deal for me ~shrug~)
- Score: -2 (ugh unremarkable. Next.)
And then I watched the movie through, tallying up the misc. Aspects more specific to THIS movie.
Zingers, Mingers  and various other details
- Alfred: "Can I persuade you to take a sandwich with you, Sir?" | Bruce: "I'll get drive-thru." : -4 (horrifically tacky, terrible way to start the movie, but not the most irredeemable thing in it.)
- Chase Meridian: "Hot entrance." : -3 (clunky and spoofish. This is her reaction to Batman entering the scene and this tells you pretty much all you need to know about this horny, horny character)
- Lifting a bank vault door with one hand: -4 (even in a movie this crazy I will not suspend my disbelief that far)
- is that a giant baphomet statue in the middle of Gotham. Why?: -3
- Batman: "are you trying to get under my cape, doctor?" | Chase: "A girl can't live by psychoses alone."| Batman: "It's the car, right? Chicks love the car.": -5 (and reallyJust this whole scene. It's all bad. This scene, wherein Dr. Chase Meridian lights up the Bat Signal SOLELY to put the moves on Batman, does not need to exist. There is no plot furtherance in this scene it is just an exchange of really really cringey pick-up lines by Chase being rebuffed with equally awful one-liners by Batman. It has already been established in her introductory scene that this CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST is OBTRUSIVELY sexually obsessed with Batman, KNOWS IT and is not at all interested in examining that. We don't need this.)
- Jim Carrey's line delivery on "which one? This?!" +4
- Jim Carrey (TM) jabbering and everything else in this sequence - 4 it gets old really fast
- "surfs up, big kahuna" -3 (*sigh* this is such a boilerplate mid-90's line I'm detracting points solely for its boilerplate-ness)
- exposition news report explaining How Harvey Dent became Two-Face: necessary but bad: -2
- Bruce in a bathrobe +3 (I don't believe explanation is needed)
- Nygma's witness to the police: -2 (Cut this down after he hands over the "suicide" note and it should have been fine. Just reign it in a little.)
- "Suicide's not covered by our insurance policy." | "I know. Full benefits." : +3 expected but touching show of Bruce's benevolence; first of many affecting character moments
- "Bad Days" - the Flaming Lips: effective but annoying -1
- Black jag, black turtleneck, yes please +5
Tumblr media
- "I have an appointment; Bruce Wayne." | "Good. You can afford to buy me a new door." +5
"in my professional opinion, this guy is a total wacko. | "Wacko. Is that a technical term?" We all thought it Bruce just said it. No points I just wanted to point this out
- the rest of this scene. Bruce stammering with chase and staring at her... neck? Lips? Like the repressed, touch-starved catholic he is. It's crazy how good the writing and tone in this scene is compared to the schlock fest on the roof with Batman. +4. I left a point off for the "I really have to get you out of those clothes" line at the end. It just ruined a perfectly good scene
- the Graysons' heroism and sacrifice and its effects on bruce and dick: +4 very effectively conveyed
- the motorcycle scene with Bruce and Dick: +5 dig everything about it
- flashback to the night Bruce's parents were killed and overall approach of Bruce's trauma: +3 there are some mis-steps but at least they approach it.
- scene where Alfred is helping dick get settled into his room and Alfred won't throw away his Robin costume? +5 so great, guys they both play this to the hilt, its so touching and I love Alfred.
- winching the Batmobile up the side of a building. Far fetched, but I like it +1
- dinner with sugar and spice -2 too rich for my blood
- earns that back with a +3 for Riddler's entrance at two-face's hideout / "O segregated one / very few people are both a summer and a winter, but you pull it off nicely"
-laundry scene with Dick and Alfred -4. Bad just bad and tacky. I know it's a reference to another movie, but that's no excuse for it existing. Still not the worst thing in the movie though
- more black turtleneck Bruce, that's at least a +3
Tumblr media
- Robin: "How come this is the only locked door in this museum? What you got back there? | Alfred: Master Wayne's dead wives... The silver closet. Off with you." +4
- Riddler's smoking jacket +3 it's pretty great
- how did time magazine get that headshot of Batman? No addition or reduction just curious
- (Robin joyriding in the Batmobile) "goin for a ride in my love machine, baby!": -5 close, but STILL not the worst thing in the movie
- white t-shirt Bruce: only +2 because the towel obstructs the view
- line delivery: "Chase Meridian" "and what a grand pursuit you must be." Smooth af. Did not know Jim Carrey could be that charming. +4
- Nygma putting on glasses that match Bruce's glasses +2
- "o bifurcated one" lacks punch after "o segregated one". +1
- "your entrance was good, his was better." +2 Tight line, classic and snappy
-  kissing chase in the middle of a situation? Unprofessional -3
-hands on hips stance, great for the 60's crowd I'm sure but no thank you not for me -3
- shirtless Bruce +4
- yet more turtleneck Bruce +3
- kissing someone is not the appropriate response their sharing their trauma with you -5 gross
- JOYGASM! -10 THAT is the worst thing in the movie
- BLACK t-shirt bruce +5
- these riddles are really rather good +3
- tushy shot.... net zero I don't know how to feel about this.
- netting the scuba goons +3 that's a good piece of water action Thunderball is very jealous.
- "you're a man after our own heart, son. I'll see you in hell." | "I'd rather see you in jail!" Great line would work in any Batman movie, +5
- Rene Auberjenois in a bit part! +3 because we love him, rest in peace
Final scores
Pros: 120 points
Cons: 78
To be frank, I was astonished when I looked at these totals, and yes I'm sure the score would be a little more even if I hadn't been so generous in doling out points every time I found Val Kilmer particularly attractive, but then that would be severely understating how attractive I find Val Kilmer in this movie so I thought it was important to include.
Yes all of them.

Tumblr media
all. damn. day.
you had been teasing george fabian weasley. you had him up on his toes every breathing moment of the day.
you looked at the clock magically hanging in the great hall, 7:07pm- it read.
sitting beside your boyfriend and all of your friends he tried, and pathetically failed, to cover his rock hard cock through his dress pants.
you hand rested right above his knee, while his other knee profusely bounced in anticipation. you fingers made small little patterns upon the dress uniform he was wearing, you moved your hand up less than an inch for a reaction.
you almost saw him flinch at the move of contact, you must’ve made him sensitive from the touches in potions, the make-out sessions in the broom closet at lunch and the neck kisses and teases between classes.
any other day you would’ve almost been scared at what he would’ve done with the amount of teasing you’ve given him all day. alas a punishment was duly in order but it was valentine’s day, and all you wanted was to rile george up so you could have him all night long.
but then again, you liked when he punished you.
i mean you were a brat after all, even though you would only admit it if he made you.
“darling.” his voice was hoarse, and full of lust; just how you liked it. “yes, m’dear?” you looked to your left to see him, maybe a few inches from your face. you had a false-pout on your face while batting your eyelashes trying to fake innocence to the fact that once you got to his dorm your clothes would’ve been sprawled on the floor and you would’ve been bent over his knee.
george being george, he had bribed all his dorm mates with free butter beer for a month and a few galleons each. they blissfully accepted his money along with a few teasing comments and eyes flicking between the both of you all day.
george knew he had eyes on him, and someone catching wind of him attempting to cover the fact that he could cum in the middle of the great hall even with the mere touch of your hand would not have been the best thing in the world.
fred and ginny would absolutely never let him live that down, and surely rob and harry would tease him as-well. surely he didn’t want the embarrassment of it all for the remainder of his time at hogwarts.
“‘m feeling a bit full, i was thinking of going to the dorm... you?” he whispered in your ear, kissing below it. you narrowed your eyes playfully before answering, wanting to drag the teasing as long as possible.
“hmm, suppose ‘m finished.”
he smiled in your direction, smiled? no he has the biggest shit eating grin on his face knowing that he was absolutely going to ruin you in the next ten minutes.
instead of normally waiting for you to grab your things and grabbing your hand, whisking you away to his dorm; his hands trembled while collecting your things, slinging your bag over his free arm. his bag previously discarded in his dorm after quidditch practice had finished for the day.
he took ahold of your waist and bid a goodbye to fred and his friends, while you waved at angelina, katie and alicia; they all shared knowing smirks and looks while you flushed and looked in george’s direction.
“freddie, lee i hope you have an excellent sleep on the couches tonight. my regards.” he smirked at them then walked you out of the great hall.
“foul git.” fred and lee both muttered under their breaths then returned to their dinner.
“you’ve been teasing all day darling, that’s not very nice of you.” george whispered to you, following a pout and faking innocence like you had done previously.
“well i wanted to see if you could bring your a game tonight georgie, it is valentine’s day after all.” you teased and smirked playing the back and forth game with him, knowing he wouldn’t last long.
“oh love, now that’s just mean. are you telling me i wasn’t bringing my ‘a game’ when you were begging-“
you quickly came to a halt shoving your small hand over his mouth, he looked at your flushed face and smirked before walking again to the common room.
he said the password to the gryffindor portrait and came to a stop in the middle of the common room. you turned to your side to look at him, a confused look washes over your face and an eyebrow arched.
almost a way of telepathically asking him ‘why’d you stop?’
before you can psychically form the words to ask the question, he bent down slightly and in a fast swoop you were placed on his shoulder and a slight smack to your bum.
‘oh this was just the beginning’ you thought, as he marched up the stairs to his dormitory.
he basically manhandles you when throwing you on the bed, casting several muffling and locking charms. because he knew fred and lee would get curious later on.
he quickly takes a hold of your throat, not squeezing yet just holding you in place. too let you know who was in charge of what was happening tonight.
“pretty girl, you’ve been mean all day. that deserves a spanking, doesn’t it pet?”
he was already starting to put you in a submissive head space, and it was working. the praise mixed with slight degration of him treating you as his pet made your knees wobble as your stood up to place your torso over his lap and a light wiggle of your bum in the air.
“eager, are we?” he mocked, as he started to knead the flesh of your ass in between his lanky ring-clad fingers. he placed a kiss to where the flesh started to change a lighter hue to your regular skin tone.
“how about... ten swats, sound fair?” he faked a pause in the middle, pretending to think but his punishment plan had begun the second you kissed his neck right before transfiguration.
“mhm, yes georgie.” you agreed, knowing he would add a few more for not calling him something filthy.
“pet, thats not my name; is it?”
“no daddy, m’sorry.” you whined, looking at him with an innocent look displayed on your features.
“15, for breaking your rules. yeah pet?”
“yes, daddy.”
he landed the first smack on the right cheek, you whined a bit before he continued.
by number eight you were withering and squirming in his lap begging him to stop this pleasureful torture. he placed a kiss to your reddened cheeks while tears threatened to escape your waterline.
“poor baby, already about to cry?” he showed fake sympathy before continuing, “too bad.” he finished and landed another smack on your bum.
you squirmed and whined in his lap, he finished his last few smacks and kissed your reddened cheeks from the previous spanking you had just received.
“darling girl, you did so well for me yeah?” he said, you nodded as he kneaded you between his hands again.
“up, up pet.” he motioned you up, your legs straddling his lap, over his muscular thighs.
“mhm daddy, jus’ wanna feel you.” you whined, your vision already becoming blurry. his hand slid from the top of your knee to the middle of your black lace panties.
he started in circular motions through the cloth, feeling the wetness spread over your lace. “you’re already sopping wet darling, barely even touched you.” he said he said mockingly into your ear, and moving your panties to the side so he could start circular motions at your clit.
you gasp at the sudden contact, this wasn’t the first time that george had touched you. but every time his magical fingers made their way to you, it felt thrilling.
he kept a steady circular motion on your cunt as middle and ring finger teased your entrance, you whined as he continued to barely dip his fingers inside you.
he slowly maneuvered his fingers into you, letting you clench around him a few times before moving and keeping a teasingly slow pace.
“princess, are you close?” he talked to you like you were so much smaller than him, like he owned you; but that had only made you wetter.
you nodded, a slow moan pulling from your throat. he pulled his hand away abruptly, a pout on your face, tears emerging from you waterline again.
“but daddy, i’ve been a good girl.” you whimpered, legs rubbing against each other friction.
“have you? because today you’ve been a bad girl.” he mocked, separating your legs.
he paused for a few seconds before speaking again.
“have you learned your lesson?” he asked, head tilting and eyebrow raising.
you nodded feverishly, placed both your hands on his shoulders pecking his neck.
“take off your clothes, now.” he demanded, without any hesitation you got up from his lap legs still wobbly and quickly stripping off your tie, unbuttoning your blouse and quickly taking off your (h/c) skirt along with your stockings leaving you in just your undergarments.
he grabbed your hand and you tumbled towards him, he pushed your small body underneath his lanky one as he hovered over you.
he kissed and caressed down your body and his mouth was in direct view of the black lace set you were wearing. you whined as you felt his breath on your clit, he looked at your squirming body and slight shaking legs from the denied orgasam previously and stripped off your underwear throwing them across the floor.
he kissed and sucked your inner thighs leaving little marks, almost to claim his territory. his mouth finally came in contact with your wet folds, his tongue going in circular motions.
you let out a hoarse moan from your throat as he continued to lick and suck. you legs started to shake again, you couldn’t even think clearly as he had one hand pushing down on your abdomen and the other holding your legs over his shoulders.
your ankles locking over his head, his favourite position. he could devour you for hours upon hours, he could never get enough of your taste and the way you whined in overstimulation.
he could tell you were close again by more of the moans releasing from your lips and your breathing more ragged and getting heavier.
you had promised george that you were going to good for him, so he thought you deserved a reward; even though he had been put through mind torture all day, he couldn’t help but get even harder at you whimpering, whining and moaning at his touch.
he rode through your orgasam, as a splash of euphoria had washed over your entire body. you were seeing stars in the air as your attempted to catch your breath, he kissed back up your torso all the way to your neck.
he quickly unbuttoned his shirt, as well as loosing his belt, tie and slacks slide down his tense legs in the process.
you brought your head the slightest bit forward catching his lips with yours and you leaned your head back, bringing his along with it, both your hands interlocking behind his head and bringing him to rest in between your legs. one of his large hands held your waist meanwhile the other rested beside your head so he could keep himself up and not crush your body.
while your tongues danced in passion, he ran his hand behind your back. you arched your back so he could unclip your bra and toss it across the room right beside your panties.
his lips pulled away as he went to kiss your breasts, leaving little purple and red hues across your chest. one hand at your waist and the other squeezing your left breast pulling little whimpers from your throat.
the hand that held your breast made its way between your legs to feel the overstimulation begin, his two fingers teased your clit again in slow figure eight motions.
you cried out, “no more daddy, wanna feel you..” attempting to look into his brown lustful irises.
“please.” you begged slightly, even though you were well on your way to subspace a tiny bit of pride ran through your veins.
“i wanna help you too.” your hand slithered to his boxers, running your hand up and down. you palmed his erected cock, feeling a wet patch of precum erupting from his dick.
you could’ve gotten on your knees for him right there, but in the back of your head you knew he wouldn’t have let you because he wanted to tonight to be about your pleasure.
he grabbed your wrist pinning it above your head. he finally had pulled off his boxers, his tip was angry and red leaking with precum almost begging for a release.
“wanna feel you inside me, please.” you begged breathily. he adored when you begged for him, you knew it made his ego feel good but you needed the contact between you both or you might’ve exploded.
he slid into you, a small hiss leaving your lips. you always had to adjust to his large size when having sex, he always waited for your go ahead because no matter if it was rough, soft or passionate he would never want to hurt you.
“mhm, move please.” you braced your free hand across the sides of his torso. one forearm leant against your head and the other interlocking your fingers together beside your hand. he began a slow but 𝙤𝙝 𝙨𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙥 pace.
his big calloused hand, from years of being a quidditch beater and your small, and smooth hand interlocked with his. both of you let out moans and grunts almost in sync with each other.
the candles around the room had almost went unnoticed, and the fireplace (let’s pretend the dorm has one) erupting in beautiful pink and red flames. as rough or as dirty as george was he wanted to make you feel special and loved. you brought your legs into an ankle lock on his lower muscular back feeling his muscles contracting. at the feeling you arched your back while he kept a steady pace.
tomorrow for quidditch practice he knew his team mates would’ve teased him, but knowing your pleasure was at his complete disposal was the only thing that mattered to him.
the hand with a hard grip on your waist came to hold your throat and squeeze the sides, your eyes rolling back to your head in pleasure.
“pretty little baby, i want you to come for me. let go for me, love.”
you let out a moan and a barely acknowledgeable nod in response.
your legs were faltering, shaking, and he knew you were close to your second orgasam of the night. his pace was faster but still close enough to his your cervix and your g-spot with ease.
he was close too, but it felt wrong almost disgusting if he had came before you.
he brought down his thumb rubbing it against your cunt to bring you over the edge, right back into the wash of euphoria you were in before. his hot seed shot into you, he let out a grunt while riding out both of your highs together.
he pulled out and made his way down your legs while panting and breaking a low sweat, looking at his cum seeping out of you. he took a mental picture of you, one of your most glorious and relaxed looks.
hair disheveled, face hot and flushed, legs shaking in pleasure. something so stunning, so beautiful and so incredibly 𝙨𝙚𝙭𝙮. all because of him.
“my little cumdump, yeah? gonna fill you with my babies?”
“y-yes, daddy.” your voice faltered.
he crawled back up your torso, leaving little kisses as he got closer to your lips.
he kissed your plump and red lips again, before asking you.
“round two in the shower?”

Some afterthoughts on The Devil Judge (spoilers for all the drama!)
Hello everyone! I hope you’re doing well!!
I wanted to write my thoughts after the finale aired because ep. 13-14 made me a mess and were too nerve-wracking! After these two episodes, i only wanted the week to go by fast to see how the finale unfolded (but at the same time, this drama entertained me sm i didn’t want it to end haha).
Watching this drama each week and reading your reactions and thoughts made me enjoy it even more, i’m glad i came back on tumblr! It was a really nice ride (more like an emotional rollercoaster haha)! It motivated me to write my thoughts and analyses on fictions i watched in the future, especially My Mister and Beyond Evil!! I forgot how much fun it was to do that and putting my thoughts into words gave me a little closure to my watch haha
These are just some afterthoughts & personal interpretations i had and were maybe probably already discussed, but i couldn’t get them out of my head haha
See you around and take care!!!
THE CAST. It left a strong impression on me and i can’t see other actors playing their respective roles!
—   Yohan portrayed by Ji Sung … i have no words, this devil judge left me speechless! His character, to his Devilish Smile (and hollow laugh in front of CKH and his son, or Gaon), his variating voice intonations (like damn, he’s a living ASMR like Lee Sung Kyung), his held back emotions and touch-starved and even desperate touches when it came to Elijah and Gaon, to his rage and unhinged moments!
I winced seeing him contort in pain when Sunah revealed Elijah accidentally lit the church fire, and the two times he hugged Elijah totally destroyed me. His last scene with Gaon showed how gazes & micro-expressions alone could convey unspoken words as strongly. I’m weak for these kinds of scenes, My Mister for example did it and killed me haha
For this post, i rewatched some scenes and damn, Elijah and Yohan’s support of Gaon after Soohyun’s death was really emotional …
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(They had no business in making Gaon have this kind of dream, those german scissors left a ... strong impression on him haha)
—   Kim Min Jung’s depiction of Sunah’s was hauntingly beautiful, a femme fatale who kept a broken child deep inside (and at the same time surfacing on her manners and personality) and a strong businesswoman. It’s a fascinating character i loved hating as a villain but still sympathized with. The scene where she murdered the former foundation’s president sent me chills down my spine (i still have her shot of her, sitting at his bureau and manipulating his speech video)!
The melancholy slipping through her facade when she visited the mansion the first time in a while, as well as her devastation in front of the President’s scheme, by the young girl’s bed at the hospital were memorable. The tension between her and Yohan was incredible: they both managed to keep a very disturbing but enthralling aura, tangled with nostalgia at the same time each time they met.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Looking at her reflection is a recurring pattern for Sunah’s character, i found this shot above interesting, divided in the two ends of the mirror, as if her self can’t be found on the other side anymore)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
—   This was the first time i saw a drama with Jin Young and i really loved his playing! Never thought I’d say one day i enjoyed someone’s tears and rage on screen, but his crying scenes stuck with me, especially in the prison yard and the last episode (he deserves therapy after all he went through, really) … And his letter to Elijah … (i’m glad nobody harshly revealed the truth to her, i’m really glad!)
I loved to see how his gaze evolved through this journey with Yohan. His endearment to Soohyun, Elijah and Yohan was very precious ;; Even though Yohan was the one who was first seen feeling lonely, Gaon’s loneliness since his parents’ death slipped through his seemingly fine world, i found that interesting! (And on a lighter note, i’ll always remember the truth behind Mrs. Ji’s cooking, Gaon’s epic reaction, and the pure comedy she gets to own a healthy food shop thanks to Yohan!!)
I also enjoyed his supportive friendship with Jinjoo!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
—   Park Gyu Young’s acting was also on point! It’s really too bad she didn’t get more screen time because i wanted to know more about Soohyun!! I felt robbed haha, because when TDJ began airing, they introduced her as one of the ‘main’ characters of this story ;; The scene when she was on CKH’s suicide scene really left a mark on me + when she was confronting Yohan, especially after she took Elijah out!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
—   Elijah. Just Elijah, our best girl!!! Apparently it’s one of Jeon Chae Eun’s first roles, she did so well!! Along with Ji Sung and Jin Young, she gave a whole new definition to the Domestic Scenes, i swear. These scenes will keep a special place in my heart for a long time! Her adorable smile and cheekiness were a refresher in this show!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(They could change TDJ’s concept in a second season and make us a domestic slice of life series, i wouldn’t mind AT ALL! Take my money!!)
Tumblr media
Seeing her complicated relationship with her uncle unfold before us deeply moved me. The complete loneliness she silently depicted moving to her bed in the wheelchair, after Gaon left the mansion was heart-wrenching. And also the scenes after Soohyun’s death, hurting with Yohan seeing Gaon’s pain (the way she spoke her worry for the two of them, Yohan couldn’t let the words out properly to Gaon).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
—   CKH’s character, played by Jang Young Nam, was amazing. Her acting already shattered me when i watched Nobody Knows! Her cold gaze, her harsh tone, she was badass i have to admit!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The narcissistic rage was well depicted in her character, and even though i get where many’s opinions on her death come from (i share it too sometimes, but i feel it more for Sunah), i found this final decision fitting to the character, especially if you look how she treated her own son (each hold felt like a grip from rage eg. in ep. 3, as she maybe felt her son was the cause of her demise).
(HUGE SPOILERS FOR BEYOND EVIL BELOW!!!!)
She reminded me of HKH’s ending: seeing his path to success was crushed with no way out of it except death on his own accord (in his eyes, because it was his absolute life aim, every single being, to his own wife and son, and means, even bending the justice independence, were his expendable ways to pave his path), HJW’s father was set on suicide before his son barged in.
(Funnily enough, the filming spot for CKH’s house is the same for HKH’s house haha)
—   And also … Lawyer don’t-worry-i’ll-get-you-out-on-probation Ko deserves a round of applause for the best lawyer he is hahaha
THE STORY’S DEVELOPMENTS (AND SCRIPT). I feel like this story could very well have been developed on 20+ episodes! Even if i know some scenes in a script are sometimes (bound to be) cut in the drama, TDJ’s script leaks make me feel there was SO much more to be told, and so much more to explain some plot events in the airing drama!
Because the story was ambitious, both character and plot(twists which give you whiplash)-driven (and also the filming context with the pandemic), i feel like some choices were made.
The lines of thought about justice and the drama’s attempts at its ‘true’ definition are not lost on me. It was really interesting!
On a side note (there will be many, bear with me haha), the symbolic behind the app’s name, DIKE, which i’m pretty sure (correct me if i’m wrong, i only have some very rough basics in korean haha) is the korean romanization of Nikè, or in ancient greek Νίκη, the greek divinity of Victory ( ‘ㄴ’ in korean sounds like an ’n’ but its pronounciation is more abrupt/brisker, to the point of what could be sounding to ears like a ‘d’).
Nikè is most of the time represented as an attribute to other greek divinities who also embody the victory eg. Zeus or Athena, thus seen as a bestower of victory (in any domain, be it war, games = interestingly enough, the live court is set in a colosseum-like room, arts, …)  to the humanity on behalf of these gods (Nikè sometimes stands in her palm as an attribute of Athena, like the owl or the helmet). But sometimes Nikè was also revered an independent protective divinity.
Nikè is represented as a winged divinity in a long robe, flying above the victorious, assisting the humans in their works/challenges eg. handing them a laurel crown as a sign of victory, or a helmet, etc. Its mostly known representation is the Winged Victory of Samothrace (or The Nike of Samothrace) sculpture in the Louvre. The brand Nike also used it in its logo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It calls back to Yohan’s line: « I make sure i win before the game starts », and in fact, since the beginning, unbeknownst to everybody witnessing the trials and participating to them, the app was his way to win. It foreshadows the ending of the story, Yohan finally taking down the foundation. It also adds to his god/devil image: he assumes the role of the intermediary/abyss of the « gods » (the Justice), taking in all the hubris of the society in order to bring the justice (well, guess we could say it put some hold to the cycle of the powerful culminating to chaos?) back, in some sort of catharsis through DIKE.
It might be a stretch, but Nikè’s winged representation could be found on Gaon’s tattoo (at first to me, it looked like a phoenix/winged angel, which symbolizes a ‘reincarnation’/new beginning for Yohan finding peace, a second chance to his past and Elijah thanks to Gaon & Gaon finding a new world even if his first crumbled ie. his parents and Soohyun’s death and professor Min’s betrayal).
Tumblr media
(The whole virus plot by the end of the story made me feel a little uncomfortable given the actual context and the conspiracy theories that are spreading, but it wasn’t used carelessly and served the commentary of the powerful and how far they would go, i think? That said, a fiction, especially a dystopia like this, stays a fiction but when they used it, it gave me a forced laugh haha)
Now, if someone gets to translate some script bits, i’m really looking forward to:
K’s backstory!!!!!
Isaac and Yohan’s past!!!!
More about Elijah!!
Where’s the cat???
What was the script saying for Gaon and Yohan’s confrontation in ep. 12? When Yohan faced the window, waking up from a nightmare after Gaon left?
ABOUT SOOHYUN’S BACKSTORY. (Now, this will get long, i’m sorry but i needed to let my thoughts out haha) The drama introduced her as one of the four main characters with Gaon, Yohan and Sunah. I had so many expectations for her character! Especially from the three scenes we got of her:
➔ In the first episode, we see her save a young girl in the street from two men, looking up at the poster « A safe Korea will be realized from now on. »: it was a great introduction to the blatant lie of the ‘safe’ dystopian world that was being created in the story. It also showed how Soohyun felt in front of this insecure world. A side note, but seeing her hug the young girl like that reminded me the hugs she gave Gaon: she wanted to protect him from this unjust world with all her might (especially the scene in the restaurant where she hugs him). ➔ Her two confrontations with Juk Chang! ➔ Her dilemma and emotional turmoil when she erases Gaon’s presence in CKH’s office.
She was portrayed in the story as Gaon’s pillar since his parents’ tragic death and his moral compass. She’s the lawful citizen, despite feeling helpless to the world’s changes, who hopes it could be saved as long as the rule of law is preserved by everyone, and this begins by respecting it themselves.
But she was not standing around and i kind of regret this was not shown more in the story: she kept doing her best in the « system », fighting from the inside the injustice hoping the little changes could make a difference someday. Because she couldn’t take Yohan’s path, in no way: the system/the law must be respected for it to be sustained. And i’m glad they addressed this point in the drama: Yohan chose to take on the role nobody wanted or even dared to assume, knowing fully well he became a criminal the second he began his plans (just as lawyer Ko said he was no longer a lawyer once he sided with him).
This must not be glorified, nor vilified. As he said, it was a choice he decided to make. She mirrors his choices to some extent and i would have loved to see more of their interactions or her thoughts about that! And how she worked through the system to change things, her vision of the justice. They showed us the flashback of her career choice in high school, and it could have been interesting to learn more about her!
A backstory about her saving the youth and meeting Sunah by accident would have been very interesting (given Sunah knew all about her since the beginning and ordered to kill her). Their meeting wouldn’t have foreshadowed Sunah’s plans, quite the opposite, and it would have given more ‘substance’ to her plans. We were robbed of this relationship haha!
And of course, seeing her side with Yohan & Gaon for a short while (because seeing her team up with them all along the way could’ve been a little ooc) would have been dope. Her arresting Juk Chang while the two of them stop the gang was the closest thing we had to their teamwork ;;
Among the drama’s main focuses (the self-pity of the powerful and the never-ending cycle of their greed, the power displays it ensues which come in many forms in the system’s game), the conception of justice was developed all along the drama. It would have been really interesting to see whether Soohyun’s conception of justice could have changed in her own way!
And professor Min’s potential manipulation of Soohyun!!! Some scenes on their interactions could have been nice to see and explain why she focused solely on Yohan, the only side of the whole story she knew! Her reporting to the professor about her investigation (and him feeling she got too close to the truth) would have made sense because, as she saw Gaon growing apart from her as he was getting closer to the Kangs (especially since she saw him interact with Elijah when they invited her to the café, like Sunah saw how Gaon fit in their family at the dinner scene), she would’ve wanted to protect him without him knowing because she knew it’d have hurt him. It could have paralleled Gaon’s reports on Yohan to the professor at the beginning of the drama. And that could have explained (aside from the whole love triangle dynamics they had) her reluctance to tell Gaon Yohan was the one who told her his whereabouts when he was in danger in ep. 13 ; this scene also was one of the only moments addressing the lack of communication in their relationship. Seeing her feeling confused over Yohan could have been interesting!
(This also got me wondering whether in the script, Yohan’s injury was ever addressed.)
Also, i’m curious about her family, if the script mentions something about them: did they know Gaon?
About the loveline between Gaon and Soohyun: while the friendship could have stayed as is (it already felt pretty genuine in my opinion and strong friendships also deserve to be portrayed in stories), i’m convinced this drama wanted to set Gaon as the center of a subtext love & morality triangle between Soohyun and Yohan (and K and Sunah on Yohan’s part). I think i would’ve appreciated Gaon and Soohyun’s loveline so much more if they developed it more! And it had to develop in the very same episode she died: apart from the confession and kiss scene (i’m curious about the scene’s description in the script), the flashback of their moments, seen from Gaon’s pov, came just right in to ‘explain’ it!
Of course it wasn’t the main focus of the story and there was already so much happening, but their new relationship development and her death almost had no impact on me even if it was set as a turning point for Gaon (and K for Yohan, as a cement to their respective decision to fight the system and how they would do it), and it made me really really sad! Of course it was a plot device (and i now wonder what would’ve happened if she or K wasn’t dead), but if it was bound to happen, the emotional impact was lessened!
Jinjoo’s character development and her relationship with Sunah happened really really fast, and i wonder how the script describes it!
Sunah’s involvement with the juvenile care center!!!  Her scene at the hospital left me really sad.
(Also, on the love plot, Gaon and Yohan jealousy bits weren’t used later as an expression of their envy towards the other’s status/life/etc. and were actually directed to people outside ie. Sunah/K/Soohyun in the plot, which makes me think they really wanted to set it as a love triangle!)
ABOUT SUNAH’S DEATH. I feel really really conflicted on this point. Her story was a parallel to CKH (and of course Yohan, i’ll talk about it below): two women — coming from totally opposite backgrounds — climbing their way up by their own means in this power circle. And despite all their accomplishments unnoticed (because they were the ones seeing through their plans while the others were mainly seen tearing each other into pieces), they could still be ruthlessly ejected from this world any day, part of it because they were belittled as women all the same, and chose to end her life on her own accord, still having agency over it.
As someone else pointed it out, it also acts as a « poetic » retribution for her murder of Soohyun and K. BUT her exiting the scene in some other way staying alive could have contrasted with CKH’s suicide (especially since she overthrew the president who was the only one on her side getting in her way and even killed him in the end). Especially in a show that deals about how the justice can be carried out!
Of course, Yohan and Sunah were a foil to each other in their respective fights and traumatic past: the drama showed us how having someone to reach out to and protect (Elijah, Isaac and Gaon to Yohan ; Soohyun, Yohan and Elijah to Gaon) can become a driving force. Sunah, despite thinking this could be a weakness, also longed for companionship (from Yohan mainly, but also from Jaehee), and had no one to stop her crossing the line and preserve her from herself and the world. At least someone hearing her story, staying by her side and trying to understand her.
Each time she said ‘can you be a little nicer to me?’ to Yohan made me feel for her (and also that one call with Jaehee), it was the only cries of loneliness she silently let out!
On a totally random note, i would have loved to see her interact more with Gaon (especially by the end of ep. 15, when Yohan was arrested)!
The story gladly didn’t end Yohan’s traumatic past and growth in death, but what about Sunah? In any case, Sunah was a really good and complex character, i enjoyed her character!
What about Jaehee? How did she react to Sunah’s death???
What about CKH’s family after her death???
I would have loved to hear more about Sunah’s plans as well! Scenes where she would play with Gaon for example (in Yohan’s presence or not, like at the photoshoot)!
Tumblr media
(This comment above foreshadowed, along with the dinner scene in ep. 11, she used him all along!)
Her involvement behind the scenes was only exposed in ep. 15 but i wanted to know more about her (motivations aside from her focus on Yohan, what did she plan to do before finding out a look-alike to Isaac, ...)! Given the elements in the plot, i get the idea she planned this whole business with the foundation first to reach the top and wanted to bring Yohan up with her (eg. leading the foundation or becoming the president) or down without her along the way, because she wanted his companionship. Maybe the script expands on it more? Did she really believe in the Dream Home project? Because as we saw her speech in the juvenile care center and her strong reaction to the youth being harmed in these schemes, i believe she kinda wanted to protect them as the best revenge on her past, because nobody could do it for her?
THE ENDING SCENE. The ending was pretty good and didn’t give us an all-out tragedy, so i’m really glad! I still can’t believe Gaon was ready to blow his life away once he learnt Yohan’s death AND wanted to die with him (falsely) realizing Yohan wouldn’t change his mind, dead set on his decision (no pun intended!). And Yohan’s reaction to this ............... Now, their last scene is left to the viewers’ interpretation, but it felt to me like a new beginning to Yohan and Gaon’s relationship! As it was already said by many people on tumblr, Yohan wasn’t sure if Gaon would still be by his side despite it all, and he didn’t expect Gaon to feel this way. They’ll definitely meet again, it’s a promise of more in the future (especially Yohan’s nod, on the verge of tears and Gaon’s two relieved/endeared smiles, full of forgiveness). Gaon will join his new world once he’s done or they’ll come back to him once Elijah’s recovered.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this game of hide and seek/hunt reflected their relationship development: Yohan felt unattainable at first, but he chased after him in the maze that was his devilish game, symbolized by the crowd, chasing him motivated by his suspicion, curiosity, anger and hate, disbelief and disappointment, empathy, worry, affection, desperation and love, until he finally reached him and they understood each other among all the crowd, living metaphorically in the same time, facing each other on the same (ground) level.
Tumblr media
(A scene in the first episode, Gaon seeing a maze of Yohan’s reflections, maybe symbolizing he could not see through his facade in the beginning, being an enigma to him at first sight ; the choice of the reflections in the mirrors through the drama is interesting and reflects the story: depending on the angles, a story can hold as many meanings as there are points of view, the complete image surfacing once everybody’s story is told)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Just like how, in ep. 4, Yohan shows Gaon the wicked system right under their noses, Gaon’s enraged and confused gaze directed right at Yohan after they all block his view by clinking glasses ; Yohan hoped he would understand what lies beneath but Gaon understands it fully through his own past in ep. 7-8)
Tumblr media
(The crowd is cleared from their/our view in the final scene, leaving the two of them facing each other without any obstacle/reflection on their path)
Gaon kept Yohan’s watch all the time even in moments of doubt, sorrow and rage (the best PPL in drama history so far haha), Yohan finally got to Gaon and entered his world as Soohyun did, reaching out when he needed it the most, to stop him doing something he would regret deeply. It was symbolized by the scar he got on his left hand from preventing Gaon from stabbing him (that’s also why he caresses his scar in a bittersweet way, lost in thoughts, reminding him of their last meeting).
As @i-guess-it-rains said + according to the BTS’ editing (it passed off as a joke but i can’t erase it from my brain now haha),  the way the scene where Yohan defused Gaon’s bomb was framed looked at the same time like Yohan was also carefully handling Gaon’s heart (the bomb countdown clock radiating a red glow on his chest), on the verge of exploding. Now i have The Nights lyrics in my head haha (« My heart is going back to you, i just don’t know »)
Tumblr media
On another note, i realized that in ep. 12, after Gaon left, he’s seen trying to call Soohyun in order to reach for her since their last confrontation, but right before, his finger glides over his contact, hesitating on Yohan’s contact before choosing to call Soohyun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While in ep. 8, he only reaches out to Soohyun after his breakdown in the prison yard (without thinking to call Yohan because he was in the core of his doubts and pain at that time and needed space to reflect on all the events):
Tumblr media
And it parallels to Sunah attempting to reach out to Jaehee in her loneliness at the top, hesitating before deciding to call her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now i hope TDJ will be on Netflix! It’d be very nice to get to watch the drama in high quality and have more people to see it!
I heard it got a webtoon adaptation so i also look forward to it once it will be translated!
A SECOND SEASON? When i first saw the ending, i thought it got wrapped up nicely and didn’t « need » another season, but it also left some parts open and laid out a new background for further developments (the system repeats itself but in another form, Yohan leaves the scene with his signature smile, maybe up to something else again, saying metaphorically or irl to Gaon he’ll come back if he doesn’t do well), kinda like Stranger/Forest of Secrets s1 or The Guest ending (the corruption doesn’t end there). I also heard it got high viewing rates in SK, so maybe it will be taken into account? And well, i’ll miss the cast so i would welcome the idea haha
THE SOUNDTRACK. The whole OST was stellar (and their titles are on point really!)! Getting to hear it without voices or noise over and with my headphones on made me realize it was even more beautiful! Because I Have You, Warmth That Melts Loneliness and If Only… are the end of me (especially If Only aaaaaaa)! Don’t get me started on Enemy of Truth’s title to the OST playing for the church fire because it’s devastating ;;;
If Only’s title … It leaves us filling in the blank space, the dots to Gaon’s thoughts when he learns about Yohan’s past and how it impacts him to this day.
The 4 songs were amazing (there’s also Different from the Outside but i still didn’t get its lyrics). Tempest was definitely etched in my mind as TDJ’s main theme haha And The Nights was my favorite!
➔ Tempest was Yohan’s iconic theme and depicted his lonely path to revenge after the tragic events in his life, and his (fated) encounter with Gaon, how deeply it will change him in this journey in ways he didn’t expect. It perfectly introduces (with Chet Faker and Flume’s Drop the game) and concludes the drama!
➔ What you gonna do was THE revenge epic song making everyone revel in the ‘bad guys’ despair and Yohan’s badass moves!
➔ The Nights felt like it was both Yohan and Gaon’s theme and Gaon’s sorrow after Soohyun’s death: at first i thought it was only Yohan’s, but his revenge and the last episodes proved me wrong! The song’s lyrics mirrored themselves (‘my/your night shines on you/me’), as if a complete understanding between Yohan and Gaon was found on their dark road. Yohan’s night shines on Gaon: Yohan’s broken past and all his misunderstood or hidden sides, his dedication to Elijah. Yohan’s rage (almost wrath since the biblical and god symbolism are there haha) and desire to take the inique system down waked Gaon’s own rage, buried deep inside, and made him move forward too. Gaon’s night shines on Yohan: all the time he spent with the Kangs, Gaon’s deep empathy and understanding, helping him reconnect with his niece, their dinners at night, his rage exploding when the truth about his parents was revealed, his desperation on the last two episodes (in ep. 15, seeing Gaon’s realization everything was a lie and Yohan was innocent, and in ep. 16, Gaon wanting to die by his side). Gaon’s night also shined on Soohyun, who wanted to protect him with all she got each time she saw him crumbling down.
There was still light on their dark road (which looks like a callback to Nightmare’s lyrics, « Save me from myself / Save me from this darkness that has lost its light »).
➔ Nightmare felt like it was Yohan and Sunah’s theme. When it last played when Sunah’s death happened on screen, it left me speechless (and if i remember correctly, the ‘save me from myself’ bit was played right when she shot herself … o u c h)!

Ok, I love the role swap concept with zuko and azula, but I feel like they switch their abilities and personalities a bit too and I think itd be more fun without that. Where Azula is an antisocial and unstable genius who wants to gain power and zuko still struggles with being the less powerful and extremely empathetic sibling. So here's how I'd do it.
(Note, this is just for fun. I'm not saying anyone else's version is bad. But I've though about this so much and need it out of my head before I go off cuz make a whole comic and I do not have the time, i need to work.)
First off, Azula wouldn't call out in concern for the men like how zuko did. In my version she's allowed into the meeting because of the aptitude for strategy shes shown. She speaks up because it's an inefficient plan that uses up too many resources when there are other options. This enrages her father and leads to the agni kai. Azula is terrified and feels betrayed but has no idea how to handle any of it. She fights back during the agni kai, but in her panic she sets off a bolt of lightning. Ozai finishes the match and severely burns on her lower back. Azula is banished for her use of lightning on the fire lord (bc ozai fears she will no longer be easy to manipulate and might plot his death) and is forced to leave the next morning.
Some things to note: azula is eleven at this point. I changed the placement of the scar bc I think zuko's is very symbolic in a way that doesnt suit azula. Zuko's scar being over his eye and close to the light chakra shows the way his view of the fire nation and honour obscures his vision and how he is unaware of the truth of the world under fire nation rule. I set azula's over her spine because that chakra is based on survival and blocked by fear. It also represents trust which will fit into her arc with the gaang. Finally, she doesnt have Iroh to guide her. One of the things that bothered me was Iroh writing her off as evil despite her being a mentally unstable child. She did have to be defeated, but the way he talked about it was too dismissive. (Personally I think he was projecting his views of his brother and his perceived failures with him onto her.) Azula isnt sent to capture the avatar so she isnt given soldiers. She's completely alone without an advisor to look to or keep her calm.
Azula is given a manned ship with a disgraced soldier and an attendant when she leaves. The way I see it the soldiers zuko had were probably more irohs than his. The soldier is relieved to not be executed but hates being demoted to playing babysitter to a child at sea. The attendant views it as a punishment and hates Azula for it. Eventually the attendant will betray her and be killed for it. Azula never trusted the soldier and he eventually leaves to start a family in an earth kingdom colony. Azula doesnt miss him, he was no longer useful. The loneliness does get to her though.
Azula is obsessed with getting the underhand, so she had been successfully building connections and planting spies where needed.
(Zuko has been acting as a respectable crowned prince. He holds a zealous loyalty to his nation and father. He still faulters as Iroh tries to steer him from tyranny, but his sights are set on his father's approval and that alone. Afterall, if his prodigy could be discarded who's to say what would happen to him if he failed?)
This brings us to the start of the series. Like Zuko Azula witnesses the trap on the old fire nation battle ship go off. She investigates and finds that an air bending avatar is living at the south pole village. She decides she wants to speak with him.
Azula didn't believe the avatar existed before this point. Hiding didnt add up to her knowledge of the morality of airbenders, so she assumed the air nation avatar from the start of the war would be dead. She would know if one had appeared in the water tribe, as the south had all its benders killed and the north was compacted so close together it would be impossible to hide. Earth would be harder, but they were most likely to fight back and out act. And if in ba sing se they'd be used as a weapon or gotten rid of to preserve the peace of the city. Once the culcle progressed to the fire nation it would either be used to take over the other nations or enf the cycle for good. After all, there hasn't been an air bender for a hundred years even if the rumors of some acolytes surviving were truthful.
Azula kidnaps aang with far more ease than she should of been able to. Once he stops struggling she calmly offers him tea and promises to release him once their discussion is finished. He takes the tea and drinks it without question and besides a wary glare shows no more hostility. She thought him a fool, the tea could have easily been poisoned and promised are nothing but words. His naivete makes her job easier though.
She finds out that he was suspended frozen in the avatar state the last 100 years. And so, Azula informs him of the war and the fire nations crimes, advising him to master the elements if he wants to prevent all his new friends and the avatar cycle from certain destruction. Aang is conflicted, he never asked for any of this. Azula just gives a bitter smile. "The hands of fate were never designed to take requests, they move without regard to any life dependent on it. Dont waste your breath when there is nothing you can do."
Azula wants to see Ozai fail. If helping the avatar is what it takes then so be it. When his friends appear to save him she let's them leave without a fight. Theyll be useful in the future.
As the gaang's travels kick off she sets out to find out if the rumours about the acolytes are true. In this she finds a traveling circus. The youngest daughter and an old friend of hers was eager to escape and found Azula's life exciting. She didn't hesitate after being invited along, insisting that traveling would be easy for her and that she'd pull her own weight.
She encounters the gaang a few times as time goes by. The relationship is reluctant on the water tribe siblings part, they dont trust her and hold a decent amount of fear towards her. Her cold and calculating demeanor was unsettling, but the unhinged way she fought was terrifying. Her form was perfect and her attacks were precise, but the bigger the fight the more lost she became as she laughed and shrieked and occasionally snapped at someone who didnt seem to be there. The only worse reaction was when she zeroed in on one opponent, picking them apart both mentally and physically as she drove them to the ground. )
Things that'll happen as I move through an episode list:
Azula doesn't have her ship attacked do she diesnt run into zhao while doing repairs, instead going straight to ty lee.
Azula learns that the gaang is on kyoshi island and heads ther after them. She has been keeping track of the avatar as they move. Ty lee gets along well with the kyoshi warriors while azula buts heads with them. They dont want her there and azula hates it when people get in the way. Zhao appears to try to capture aang and Azula dips at the same time as the gaang. She tells ty lee she can stay but she insists on sticking with azula. This puts her on edge.
Ty lee gets captured by earth benders, when she escapes on her own she cements her usefulness to Azula.
They run into zhao trying to capture the avatar and azula tells him she'll capture him first. They both attack aang during the solstice, though azula's attacks are all purposefully set to miss and trip up zhao as much as possible. Aang is the best way to prove her father wrong and she's not going to lose that.
They rob the pirates that try to capture the avatar. Azula needs the resources and it gives her leverage over the gaang.
After almost killing ty lee for scaring her by popping up behind her Azula tells her why she was banished. (In more of a "my own mother thought I was a monster" way than an opening up about trauma way.)
Azula learns that zhao has captured aang and frees him. She then sets to reworking her information network as not all of them are scared enough of her to not fail her. She remedies it quickly.
Azula learns that zhao is plotting her assassination and decides it's the perfect moment to fake her death.
Azula enters the north pole to defeat zhao and gain any information she can. Ty lee rades a library during the confrontation. Zhao is surprised and infuriated to see her alive, Azula smiles as she sends him to his death knowing that she is not only helping the avatar but also that he gave her a perfect way to hide from the fire nation. (When news of his sisters death reaches hum, Zuko doesnt know what to think. She was always cruel to him, but she was still his little sister.)
The crown prince of the fire nation is sent to capture the avatar. Azula follows him as he begins his search. (Zuko begins to think he's going insane as he keeps catching glimpses of his recently deceased sister out of the corner of his eye.)
Ty lee keeps running into a girl she slowly befriends. She's gloomy and sarcastic and ty lee thinks Azula would like her. (Zuko's fiance Mai tells him that she thinks his sister is still alive.)
As Azula notices ty lee become more and more distracted as she absorbed herself into the cultures that surround them she decides it's best for them to split up. Ty lee diesnt agree, but Azula leaves anyway. She has work to do.
While traveling alone Azula cant escape the thoughts of her mother. Of her fathers betrayal. Of the life she lost because the idiot elders had no grip on proper strategy that even a child could create. She meets a boy that reminds her far too much of zuko with a mother far to similar to theirs. When she sends the bandits controlling the town running she knows it's more than just controlling a territory that compelled her. But at the same time she doubts not following through on the whim would have bothered her.
Ty lee meets toph and chat for a bit. Ty lee tells her about azula and how she left. When toph tells her she should forget her she insists that azula didnt really ditch her and that they're still friends. They talk about their friends and childhood.
Ty lee finds Azula and immidiently jumps at her, which she does not enjoy. Ty lee insists that she still wants to travel with her and Axula sighs as she let's her tag along to the next location, ba sing se.
Azula slips through guards and protocols as she tries to gain any information she can to help her once they reach the city. Ty lee befriends a guy named jet and his group, the freedom fighters. When he tries to get more than friendship she turns him down and it becomes much more awkward.
Ty lee becomes a street performer and chames everyone she meets as Azula researches the dai lee and how they keep control. After lashing out in frustration ty lee drags her out to enjoy the city's night life.
Azula learns of the presence of the avatar and location of appa. She frees him and sets to work taking control of the dai lee. She let's herself be briefly captured but her plan shifts when katara is thrown in with her. Katara is pissed just being around her and azula plays up a cool kind of annoyance. Katara briefly catches sight of the burns on Azula's back and offers to heal her, only for Azula to freak out and yell at her to stay away, backing against a far wall in a fighting stance. They are saved by the rest if the gaang and ty lee shortly after.
Azula goes back to try and salvage her plan only to be caught off guard by the appearance of her brother and his offer to return to the fire nation. Not willing to lose all possible advantages, she agrees. They battle the gaang, and when they are almost captured azula sends a bolt of lightning at aang, causing them to retreat. Katara can heal him more easily than she can maneuver them out of an execution.
Azula returns to the fire nation with her brother, mai and ty lee, starting the beginning of a large power play between her and her father. They are sent to lo and li beach house. The relationship between the siblings is tense, zuko has always been the child born with nothing who gained everything when his blessed at birth sister lost it all. Azula has always been cruel, but he cant help but let his heart catch on the moments when she's not. ("My own mother thought I was a monster, My father thought i was too difficult to keep around" "Don't let their words blind you, you need to be more careful, zuzu." "I learned the hard way to never turn your back to anyone, and the scars will always be there as a reminder if I need it." )
Azula runs into iroh, who is very disapproving of her presence. He warns her to stay away from zuko and to watch herself while at the palace. Later, zuko comes to her asking about their great grandfather. Upon being pressed he admits that he was sent a mysterious letter. He thought she was going to burn it when he handed it to her but instead the heat from the fire revealed a hidden ink. "Honestly brother, did you ever pay attention at all during lessons?" They find a autobiographical scroll of their great grandfathers life and the secret that their other great grandfather was roku. Azula scoffed at the idea of bloodlines deciding fate and quickly left. But Zuko remained conflicted.
During the day of the black sun Azula confronts Ozai. As iroh and Zuko fight the avatar. She learns that her mother left for zuko's sake and that she was never going to be fire lord. Azula tells him she'll be somthing even better and leaves the palace.
Azula and ty lee follow the gaang to the western air temple. Katara immidprntly attacks but is quickly rendered unable to bend by ty lee. Azula tells them that the only way for them to of gotten out was for Aang to be incapacitated, and she knew katara could heal him. Aang decides they can stay but have to stay distanced from everyone else.
Azula tries to teach aang fire bending but is slowly growing sick while aang is barely able to produce a puff of smoke. Unable to sleep and constantly on edge, it soon affects her bending, sending her spiraling as she loses control on the only consistent power she's ever had. Her and aang journey to find the true source of fire bending to try to help their conditions.
Still sick, Azula is itching to do anything away from the temple. Finding sokka trying to reach the boiling rock to find his father, she decides to go with him as she knows the prison well. Sokka declines but she goes anyway. They dont find his father, but they do find suki. Azula formulates a plan but they postpone when sokka's father arrives.
Azula comes up with a new plan, now reluctant to include sokka. He tells her to trust him but she insists she has no reason to. Her sickness has been getting worse and he tells her she needs to trust him, making her angry. Only when he catches her while they're escaping dies she finally begin to accept trusting him, if only slightly.
(While they're away ty lee tries to convince
Azula goes with Katara to find the man who killed her mother. Azula has no concept of why katara is so upset, which causes her to get angry. But azula tracks the man anyway.
Ember island players- azulas character has the scar across her chest. She's absolutely insane and "not entirely inaccurate, but I'd never come up with such a dumb plan." Shes also heavily implied to be more than close to ty lee, which azula has no reaction to even as the others freak out.
I havent decided the ending, zuko will probably turn to the gaang's side. I'll add more later and maybe write or illustrate a bit.

Why I don’t think Azula should’ve gotten a healing/redemption arc
k so I made this meme a couple weeks ago
Tumblr media
and I got a lot (a lot? Like 10 but that’s a lot for me) responses disagreeing with my post, which is fair because there’s really only a tiny subset of fans who fit into the “if you stan villains you’re a bad person” category, and Azula’s character (like most other things in atla) is fairly nuanced. I won’t dive into her personal psychology so much, just why I was satisfied with her arc as a viewer.
Note: I’m only speaking within the context of Atla. I haven’t read any of the comics or seen Lok so for the sake of this lil post those don’t exist.
Not enough time
Plain and simple, Azula didn’t have enough time for any sort of healing or redemption. She would’ve needed at least 2 seasons based on what Zuko went through. Adding more seasons for this purpose would feel kind of pointless. Maybe they should’ve explored this in other media but not within atla as the story works best as a tidy three season bit.
Along this same vein, I’m not viewing the show the same way as I would irl. If we’re being realistic, Azula was a horribly abused mentally ill 14 year old who most definitely should’ve gotten treatment. But this is a cartoon, where standards are a little different, which I’ll talk more about in a minute.
Iroh used to be a bad person/If Zuko changed so could she
This one is more complicated for me, but basically I view it like this. In the show, Iroh and Zuko display goodness before their redemption.
We see this with Zuko especially. He is banished for trying to protect the lives of fire nation soldiers from certain death. Twice he spares the life of his rival Zhao, even after that rival tried to kill him. In season two, he saves appa, risks blowing his cover to light lanterns for Jin, saves a town from mercenaries, and even when he’s robbing, he spares certain people (the pregnant woman for example) and mostly targets the wealthy. Zuko, even at his worst, had hard limits on his morality.
Iroh is more subtle. The most clear example comes from the flashback in “Zuko Alone” where Iroh gifts Zuko a dagger from the earth kingdom that he notes is of superior craftsmanship. This, to me, shows where the start of Iroh’s arc comes from: his appreciation of the other nations. It’s been noted before that Iroh has also mastered all four elements, even though he can only firebend. Redirecting lightning comes from waterbenders- likely learned before Iroh “turned good”. Even as their adversary, Iroh respects the people of Ba Sing Se for their resilience. (This again contrasts Zhao, who was so deranged he murdered the fucking moon just to win.) Finally, the dragons. Iroh is known as the dragon of the west even to people from Ba Sing Se- this means that he spared the lives of the final dragons before Lu Tens death. Like Zuko, Iroh shows mercy even when on the wrong side. Lu Ten’s death breaks Iroh because it forces him to finally come to terms with the fact that the fire nation is built on a lie. Fire nation superiority is a lie, and it’s one he’s known for a long time.
Azula doesn’t display any of these traits. The only time in the entire series where she apologizes is after she insults Ty Lee, and I’d argue it was an act of manipulation, as she quickly uses the apology to receive praise from Ty Lee. The beach episode is the only soft side we ever see to Azula, and all of her interactions can still be interpreted like my example. Was the comment about Ursa thinking she was a monster a slip of her mask or an attempt to “perform” like the others? We know Azula is a liar, so was she lying when she said ursa was right, or that it still hurt? Or both? And, mind you, I do love how this episode explores azula more closely, but I don’t believe being a nuanced villain makes you a redeemable one. Even as a child, Azula is cruel and takes pleasure in hurting Zuko, and animals, and her friends. She’s a master manipulator who makes friends through fear and intimidation. Imo, the only reason she doesn’t actually kill someone is because Avatar was technically a kids show, though that sure as fuck didn’t stop her from threatening multiple peoples lives. There is no action of Azula that signifies an ounce of good in her.
She was abused
1) a tragic backstory isn’t the be all end all of whether or not a character’s redeemable, and 2) So was Zuko. And probably Iroh and Ozai, and probably Azulan. The fire nation royal family is fucked up. Even if Azulan was a “good” father to Ozai and Iroh he was still a dictator who was grooming them to take over.
Having Azula be a puppet in her fathers game was an incredibly mature route for atla to take. Once again, it adds depth with a realistic take for Azula’s villainy. Very rarely are individuals born evil (enter nature v nuture debate here). Some of the worst people to ever exist were victims of abuse and neglect to varying degrees. Once again, though, this doesn’t suddenly render Azula open to redemption. And from a storytelling perspective, there’s parallels between Ozai and Iroh and Azula and Zuko.
Ozai continued the cycle of abuse, Iroh broke free from it, Zuko ended it, and Azula was broken by it. These are all things that happen in real life.
She’s 14
Oddly enough this is the argument that baffles me the most. I know I just said a whole lot about real life vs fiction, but I’m gonna pull the fiction card on this one. I can suspend belief with these characters and their ages. I don’t think any 12 year old could function after waking up from a coma and finding out his entire people were slaughtered and that he only had like, six months to save the world, regardless of his upbringing and power set. I also don’t think any 14 year old could lead a trio to infiltrate a city state, outsmart the shadow leader of said city state, and manipulate and entire little army for her favor.
There’s just a point where you have to suspend belief. The characters of avatar are fantastic, but are not realistic portrayals of people in their age group. Azula could be 14 as easily as she could be 25 and nothing about the narrative would change. The same is true for the rest of the main characters- even Aang, as youthful and fun loving as he is, also has more emotional maturity than anyone in the gaang, and more than most adults i know. If you want a realistic example of a child working through trauma, try Lilo from Lilo and Stich. Not anyone from Atla
Not everyone needs a happy ending.
This is ultimately what it comes down to for me. I like Azula as a villain. I like Azula as a villain who stays a villain and who is driven insane by power and paranoia. I like Macbeth. Azula is a tragedy- and that’s what I like.
So there ya have it folks. That’s my take. I’m writing this at five am with very little sleep, so please forgive typos and whatnot. I feel like maybe I haven’t explained everything the way I wanted to, but I can’t stop thinking about this, and the great thing about this show is that it’s fun to keep thinking about.

Personal recap Worlds 2021 - Ladies SP
Yes I am back with personal recaps 😁 and as in personal it's totally my opinion and you can agree or not. Tell me what you think if you want.
First I needed to calm down because this was a nerve wrecking ladies short program and I thought I wouldn't care that much for the scoring (knowing it would be sh*t anyway) but yes I was mad. But I think I am calm enough now to put normal sentences out.
Rika Kihira was robbed. Period.
Her mysterious "q" calls were just bullsh*t and watching the replay multiple times I would say ok for the 3T being a bit short on rotation but the 3A I just don't see it. (and German ESP commentators had the same opinion) The program is fire 🔥 🔥 🔥 Rika performed so well. And this deserved just sooooo much better. Sorry bby that you don't get the benefits like some others. ❤️
Tumblr media
Anna is my lovely fairy. ❤️❤️❤️ I do like her skating a lot. Her jumps not that much, but I can live with that (I am not a technical nerd). Her musicality is otherwordly. I don't see her being that much better than Rika though. Didn't see such a clean and secure combination from her in ages. She really is mentally very strong. In practice she was in tears a lot, in competition you could see no insecurity.
Tumblr media
I am happy for Liza! Her story is really impressive. She is not a skater I root for because I like her skating so much, but because I think her fighting spirit and her guts are amazing and big role model for other skaters in Russia and in general struggling with puberty. You can make it again after 6 years, you have to fight. The 3A was one of the best for her. Her jumps are superb and I am glad that she at least did get a higher TES than Anna, but her PCS are really questionable. But well looking at Sasha's PCS, Liza's doesn't seem so astronomical anymore. Still ridiculous...but at least Liza was flawless. I am not a fan of her new program, I liked "Spartacus" better but it seem to serve her well. So.
Kaori my love 😍 The layout just didn't play out well for her. The combo being shaky costed dearly. But also the 3Lz edge call dropped her score badly. I don't actually have a problem with her score, but just looking that she is the only skater in the Top 10 field to receive a real edge call, while Bradie and Anna get away without any "edge" problem is just unfair. If you score favorably than do the same with everyone. Kaori's speed is unparalleled. Her program grew so much during the season, a very difficult program to make it work but I like it. Anyway Kaori was good and chances for the podium are super slim anyway.
Tumblr media
Sasha Trusova - her trainings looked super secure (5 quad clean free) but when it counts she hardly delivers. 34 PCS were super generous for her program. Compare that to Kaori and Karen and so many others and it's just undeserved. 12th place hurts though. I predicted her to not be Top 3 after the SP but 12th place was hardly in my guessing. If she can skate a somewhat clean free skate, she still has a little chance on winning. That would ofc depend on other skaters and favorable PCS but it's not impossible. I hope she can leave the competition with a good feeling. 12th place is not what she is capable of.
Yelim Kim - what an excellent combination. 👌She had plenty of time at landings. The program is a bit bland and risk free. The dress game is A+++! ❤️ I have a soft spot for Yelim since juniors, the fairytale like appearance and movement makes her a sentimental favorite of mine. I was gladly surprised by her score. One of the only scores I could agree on.
Tumblr media
Karen Chen - Karen skated beautifully. I am not super flashed by her program but I am happy she delivered so well. And superb 3Lo! 👌 I think if Rika received a "q" on her combo Karen should have gotten the same, but she is American so nope...
Bradie Tennell - anyone knowing my recaps, knows I am hardly a Bradie fan but her programs are interesting and I like this short a lot. But today she just didn't deliver. Her score should not have come this close to Kaori.
Haein Lee - same as for Rika. If a "q" is applied to Haein and Rika than why not Karen? Hello? Haein is really lovely to watch and musical. She has all the right abilities to place high in the future. Wonderful. 😍 I was a bit surprised to hear Helene Fischer's "Ave Maria" (Helene is on of the biggest stage names in Germany) There are so many Ave Maria's and they chose a German singer? 😂
Absolutely heartbroken for Satoko. 😭💔 Her program should receive the highest PCS but she didn't even get as much as Trusova. What a big joke that is. She is such a beautiful skater. What a beautiful dress too. Just nothing worked for her today. What a tragedy. 💔💔💔
The other heartbreak was Maé Méité. 💔💔💔What a sad story that is. Finally she was able to practice without pain and now probably achilles tendon. She could barely walk. I am so devastated for her. Wishing all the best to her. May she return soon.
Alexia Paganini was also really off. Sadly she didn't make the cut. 😢
Lastly I want to add a few pleasant surprises:
Loena Hendricks - Shame about the fall, but everything else was excellent. Glad she got a good scores. So glad she is back!
Josefin Taljegard - She is on 🔥. Surely her technical content isn't as good as that of other skaters but her emotional connection and performance to the music are extraordinary! ❤️ Watch Josefin, you won't regret it!
Madeline Schizas - pleasantly surprised by Madeline. Delivered greatly. I wish for her to maintain that 2nd spot.
Lindsay Van Zundert - Skating first you are usually out of the free skate, but she made the cut with a lovely "Allegria" performance. 😊
Good luck everyone for the free skate! May the judges get the memo that we want fair scoring!
Tumblr media
Any complaints about judging I do are always against the judges not the skaters themselves. I hate how unevenly applied the rules are and that judges are playing favorites so hard it's apparent. It's so unfair. Be strict or lenient on every skater from 1st to last the same way. Scores are so whack they only make me mad.
This was a wall of text, sorry. 😅 If you see me not talking about COVID-19, it's not because I don't care but because that's not my main object here and I absolutely won't watch out for behavior that violates any rules. I think everyone is doing everything with the best intentions. I don't wish ill upon anyone. Covid plays a big part here as well, but I like to concentrate on the positive aspects of Worlds and the skating in general instead of being mad about things that are hardly in my power. I'd rather look at what I can do myself and how I can help my locals. I am also tired about my whole day normally being all about covid that I just don't have the energy to talk about it any further.

Ratatouille or Vanilla?
Tumblr media
Req: Netflix and chill with Mark
Pairing: reader x Mark
Genre: smut (m)
Words: 1921
Tags: makeout, fingering, penetration, kinda finger kink/choking with fingers, slight cumplay, also spoilers for the movie Ratatouille lol
It wasn’t often that you got to spend a day with Mark at the dorms. The schedules had been so hectic lately that the most you’d had were short phone conversations where he’d sounded drowsy or worn out—you’d always felt bad and told him to get rest, despite his protests.
You didn’t mind it. Well, you definitely did miss him way more than you thought you would for two people who were only dating for three months but that was understandable, given that he was always so busy.
Sometimes you worried that he stressed about it more than you did—Mark was always apologising every chance he got, his puppy-eyes blinking in furtive worry that seemed to worsen when you just waved his words off understandingly. You knew it wouldn’t be the same as dating just another guy and you honestly didn’t care—you really liked Mark. Busy or not.
As he stood up to get the ice-creams that he’d ordered to the dorms, you watched him with a smile as he left the room. The fact that you both hardly got to see other definitely had this advantage—three months and you still felt the butterflies every time you saw him. Both of you cherished every moment you spent together and the sappy happy couple-phase hadn’t ended the way it usually did with other relationships.
Hell, you and Mark hadn’t even had sex yet.
A fact that the both of you had remained quiet on—you because you already knew your friends would attack you with ‘What the hell is wrong with you, you hardly see him in the first place and now y’all won’t even have sex?’ and Mark because he lived with eight guys who teased him when he gave you heart-eyes, so this would be a minefield for endless mockery.
It’s not like you hadn’t done other things—the distance definitely helped add heat every time that you met him with desperate hungry makeout sessions, hands that wandered a lot and lingered too long, dark hickeys that you allowed him to mark all over your neck while you grinded on his lap.
But that was the farthest it got. In fact, that one time you could have even had a quickie or at least a dry hump if you hadn’t heard Taeyong loudly yelling Mark’s name from the next room.
The timing was always off, the places were never right. He wasn’t allowed to be at your place—even under full disguise—because of the increased sasaengs around the company buildings and Lord knows how careful you had to be when sneaking into NCT’s dorms yourself. Dates were obviously out of the question.
The dorm was less than ideal—one of the members were always around and even if they weren’t, the aunt who cleaned and cooked was constantly shuffling through rooms for her work.
“Hey, what’d I miss?” Mark asked as he quickly sauntered into the room, closing the door behind him and sitting down beside you, hurriedly handing you the ice-cream sundae.
You roll your eyes since this wasn’t the first time he was watching Ratatouille (maybe the twentieth—he’d been appalled when you said you’d never watched it, yelling ‘What was your childhood?’ at you over and over again until you agreed to watch the movie) but answer him anyway: “Remy’s being chased by Skinner across the streets of Paris for having the letters that say Linguini is Gusteau’s son.”
Mark nods and you grin, sitting up slightly as you eat the ice-cream. You fall into a comfortable silence as you focus on the movie again but feel his gaze burning holes into the side of your face. You ignore him until you realise you can still feel it even when Anton Ego makes his iconic dramatic entrance.
You turn to look at Mark and realise that his eyes are fixated on your mouth.
And that when you notice this, you reflexively lick the vanilla ice-cream off your lower lip and his eyes darken at the gesture.
“Mark,” you mumble his name softly, eyes narrowed as you lower your hand holding the spoon mid-air. “What’s wro—?”
He leans forward, grabbing you by your waist as he presses his mouth to yours. You gasp at the sudden contact and Mark takes the opportunity to slip his tongue inside your lips, moaning softly at the coolness of your mouth and probably from the taste of vanilla.
You kiss him back heatedly, the sundae having been long knocked-out of your hand as you place your hands on his shoulders. You pull away when you feel breathless, heart racing as you lean your forehead against his and he is panting, warm breaths mixing with yours.
“I’m sorry,” he mutters. “I just… I want—”
“Me,” you complete, making him blink at you. “I know. I get it. I want you too.”
Mark swallows, his cheeks flushing pink at your honesty and he sighs, “Y/N, I’m sorry for acting like… this. I just—”
You cut him off this time, kissing him desperately. You grab his shoulders for grip, lifting yourself up off the floor and settling yourself on his lap, comfortably straddling him. Mark’s hands naturally find your hips and you pull away, smiling slightly.
“You apologise way too much, Mark Lee,” You whisper, kissing his cheek and up his jawline. “I want you just as much as you want me so you know what? Let’s just fuck.”
Mark’s body goes still underneath you at your words. You lean back then, raising an eyebrow challengingly and he stammers, “Are-are you serious? Really?”
“It’s been months. If anyone knocks or calls, we’ll ignore them. You called me over here for Netflix, I’m going to add the chill. Just lock the door,” you say, already getting off him and reaching your hands back to unclasp your bra as you went to sit on the bed, noticing the movie was still playing. “Also, switch off Ratatouille. Let’s not taint your precious childhood.”
Mark’s already turning off the television, the door locked behind him as he quickly reaches for you, calling out, “Wait, wait, I wanna take it off myself.”
You lower your arms, grinning at his words as you reach for him. He crawls on top of you, your fingers already reaching for the bottom of his tee to yank it off.
Clothes fly off in record time, hungry hands grasping and pulling as both of you sigh in content, feeling skin on skin. Mark’s lips find the sensitive spot on your throat, making you arch your head back as you spread your legs wider for him to comfortably nestle in between them. He leaves a trail of kisses from your neck, down your collar bone and to your chest. You gasp, back slightly arching when you feel his mouth wrap around your nipple, hand rising to fondle the other breast.
“Fuck, Mark,” You moan, closing your eyes in pleasure. It feels even better than you dreamt it would, his tongue licking circles around your nipple as your fingers find his hair, gripping the locks tightly. “Your mouth feels so good.”
He starts lowering his kisses down but you can’t wait—you want to see him as you grab his head and pull him up, kissing him again heatedly. His other hand lightly traces down between your bodies, feather touches that send sparks all over your nerves as his long fingers run over your centre.
You moan again and Mark smiles, slipping his finger inside your wet heat and curling it against your clit, watching the way it makes your eyes dilate and chest heave with loud breaths.
“God, you sound amazing,” he mutters, rubbing your bundle of nerves. You clench your thighs around his hips, unable to control yourself from remaining quiet.
You can’t tell if it’s the desperation or the heat of the moment—but you were already in heaven. Every breath, every touch, every kiss was making you reel with bliss.
Your breaths grow louder as Mark fucks you with his finger—make that fingers. The way you’re dripping has him easily slipping inside another, thrusting inside your pussy and rubbing circles around your clit. You moan his name repeatedly as he keeps circling, pace growing quicker and drawing you closer to your high. Your walls began clenching around his digits and you closed your eyes, breathing hard.
Mark pulls out his fingers.
Your eyes shoot open, wide and you gape at him in disbelief, robbed off your orgasm.
And then, Mark shoves his slick fingers inside your parted lips.
You moan loudly around his digits at the unexpected action, tasting your own juices as you choke on his long fingers stuffed in your mouth while he pumps himself with his other hand. Your eyes roll back in your head as you feel the head of his erection rub against your wet slit, sliding up and down before slowly pushing himself inside.
You open your eyes, blinking hazily at Mark as he fills you up with his delicious length. He isn’t very thick but you can feel his length deep inside you, stuffing you full in a way that had that familiar knot tightening in your lower abdomen. Whimpering around his fingers, you wrap your tongue around them and suck it clean as he thrusts in and out of your wet pussy.
You feel his dick rub against your teased clit, hitting the spots that had your thighs clenching around Mark’s hips as you wrapped your legs fully around his waist to completely pull him inside you. Mark keeps his eyes on you as he bottoms out, thrusting harder and harder with a hunger and lust-crazed frenzy until your back is arching off the mattress, cumming all over his length.
He removes his fingers and you bite down on his shoulder to stop yourself from screaming as the orgasm washes over you, dragged out by Mark cumming inside you seconds later—white heat flooding inside your pussy and pushed further in by his constant thrusting.
You grasp his arms tightly as you collapse back on the bed, sweaty and slick in the satisfaction of great sex. Mark’s head is buried in your neck and you feel him start to move but you grab his back, stopping him.
“Stay,” you breathe, voice hoarse. “Just stay like this for a bit more.”
You feel him smile against your shoulder then, raising his head to kiss you sweetly. He moans softly and you can feel him twitch inside you again—you guess its cause he can probably taste you on your lips.
“Better than vanilla,” he muttered against your mouth, making you giggle.
You stay silent, basking under the delicious weight of him and in his warmth with your fingers carelessly stroking his hair but then hear him say in your ear, “Seriously, though, Ratatouille’s great, you should finish watching it later.”
Your fingers stop in his hair, rolling your eyes at his words. In a deadpan tone, you reply, “Hm, or you eat me out since apparently I taste better than ice-cream and then I suck you off to compare? Ratatouille or vanilla? But hey, since you said it’s great, guess we should just wa—”
“Ego meets Remy, Gusteau’s closes down, Remy gets his own restaurant and they all live happily ever after,” Mark raps quickly as he pulls away from you and begins throwing your thighs over his shoulders as you laugh.

Things in AtLA that I wish had gotten resolved/addressed better
So we all know AtLA is the Greatest Cartoon Show Of All Time (TM) but I always felt like there were several loose ends that would’ve REALLY benefited from a Book 4: Air, and I wanted to rant about them for a second, so here they are:
1) Azula’s mental health and (possible) redemption: I really wish we had gotten to see Azula come out of the pit she dug herself into. Because of the evil acts we see her commit, we often forget that Azula was just a 14 YEAR OLD GIRL, who had spent all of her life trying to live up to the expectations of her abusive father and who was betrayed by literally everyone close to her in the end. Of course there still should’ve been consequences to her actions, but I don’t believe she was an irredeemable hopeless case. I feel like this line:
Tumblr media
was REALLY telling as to why she did what she did. I often wonder if maybe she’d started out just doing her best to act in a way where she would NOT be punished or hated like she’d SEEN her brother be, and then it just became so ingrained into her that it changed her. Especially since her mother and uncle, the only other adult presences in her life, kept themselves mostly removed from her and ultimately failed her (I understand that Ursa was probably trying her best to help the child she believed was most in danger from Ozai, but if your 9 YEAR OLD daughter comes out of your relationship believing “my own mother thought I was a monster” then you’ve failed as a parent. Sorry)
Aaron Ehasz said this about a year ago:
Tumblr media
and honestly I would have LOVED THAT. “At the deepest moment in her own abyss she would have found: Zuko”. Like, what?!?! Zuko getting to be Azula’s Iroh, to help her crawl of the dark place she was in through compassion and kindness?? YES PLEASE!!! Also, imagine what Azula could’ve been if she’d ever decided to use her razor-sharp intellect for Good? This girl conquered Ba Sing Se with only 2 people on her side initially, little to no bloodshed, and no civilian casualties! She could’ve accomplished SO MUCH as Zuko’s advisor/right hand woman or something!
2) Aang dealing with his grief regarding the Air Nomad Genocide: truth be told, we never see Aang truly take the time to cry and mourn over the loss of literally everyone he ever knew and loved aside from those brief moments during the Southern Air Temple and The Guru, and even then he never got to dwell on it for long because the world needed him and he had to focus on that.
Tumblr media
I’m quite sad that he never got to have that catharsis, to truly come to terms with his feelings on the matter (besides seemingly focusing all his love on Katara, as we’re told during The Guru). He should have gotten the chance to rebuild his home and find his new place in the world in the appropriately-named Book 4: Air. For example, I’ve seen theories that Ty Lee was a descendant of the remaining Air Nomads, and it would’ve been so great for it to be true and for Aang to go around the world searching for others like her and teaching them Air Nomad philosophy. Also wish we could’ve seen Aang finding and protecting the last Sky Bisons, collecting Air Nomad scriptures with Zuko’s help and spreading them across the world, or restoring the Air Temples to their former glory (maybe Teo and the Mechanist could’ve helped in that endeavor to make up for wrecking the Northern Air Temple. I never liked that at the end of that episode we’re told to think Aang was in the wrong, when literally the last remaining vestiges of his culture had been changed and almost destroyed and he had every right to be angry about it).
3) Toph’s Life Changing Field Trip with Zuko: I really dislike Zuko dismissing Toph’s talk about her parents during The Phoenix King. I feel like it’s quite a bit out of character, since he would of course be able to understand better than anyone in the Gaang how being forced to change yourself to fit in with your rich&powerful parents’ expectations of you feels. You’re telling me that the guy who immediately empathized with Katara when she mentions how the Fire Nation took her mother from her in the Crystal Catacombs (while they were still “enemies” might I add), who encouraged Aang when he felt uneasy about his firebending, who stuck with Sokka when he was feeling down about his plans failing and inspired him to keep trying, who helped Katara find closure on her mother’s death and praised her sacrifice saying “[she] was a brave woman”, and who was comforted by Toph herself just a few days before when he was feeling down about Iroh, wouldn’t take a second to empathize with her? I don’t buy it.
Tumblr media
Also can you imagine the kind of shenanigans two badass rule breakers like them could’ve gotten into???
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They could’ve saved or toppled a city in one night. It would’ve been EPIC. WE WERE ROBBED.
4) Aang and Katara’s relationship: just... so much about it. I’m not even going to get into how much I wish Zutara (or the beginnings of it) had been made canon, but if they were going to make Kataang canon I wish they had showed us MUCH MORE of the development of Katara’s feelings. I mean, on the Ember Island Players we leave them with Aang having screwed up by disregarding her boundaries and forcing a kiss (and then never apologizing for it smh),
Tumblr media
and then we get NOTHING until somehow during the very last 10min of the series she all of a sudden reciprocates his feelings in full???? Without anything getting resolved????
Tumblr media
Like what?!?! How did she go from A to B???? At least show me how she debated the matter! Show me how she talked about it with someone, or mulled it over on her own! Show me what exactly she found that she loved ROMANTICALLY about Aang! Show me him apologizing for overstepping and her forgiving him! Show me Katara stop babying Aang gradually! Show me Katara having cute blushing moments like she does for her other crushes (namely Jet and Haru) SPRINKLED ALL THROUGHOUT THE STORY WITH INCREASING FREQUENCY INSTEAD OF ONLY ON 2-3 ISOLATED INSTANCES IN THE WHOLE SHOW, WHILE OTHERWISE SHE ACTS LIKE HIS MOM OR OLDER SISTER!!!! Arrrggh we should’ve gotten a Book 4 if only so we could end on that kiss on a balcony properly. They both deserved better than we got.
5) Katara’s role in the world Post-War: from what little I’ve heard of the comics, it seemed as if Katara was relegated to the role of “Aang’s girlfriend”, which was reinforced by what we saw in LoK where she mostly stays in the South Pole while all her other friends are helping save the world. She doesn’t even seem to have her own statue! I find this highly disrespectful of her character, since the Katara we know would’ve “never turned her back on people who need her” and would’ve fought tooth and nail to make the world a better place. She never would’ve been content as a stay-at-home wife. She ends up “in the healing huts” just like Pakku thought she should and that’s so sad😔 I wish we could’ve seen her become a political activist protesting for women’s right to learn combat waterbending at the North Pole, an environmentalist/ecoterrorist, a medical volunteer, an ambassador for Aang’s new Air Nation or for the Water Tribes, a warrior putting the Fear of God(TM) into anyone who tried to assassinate Zuko or Aang, or even all of the above. Katara is a BAMF with strong opinions and we should’ve seen her do something with them goddammit.

I’d heard a couple of the early Robservation podcast episode, the Rob Liefeld podcast, and they’d been kind of pleasant “I’m a big fanboy, let’s talk about some Avengers Annual that Michael Golden drew that old dudes overreacted to” shows.  But I just started digging into the “Rob tells the story of Heroes Reborn” and they’re much more interesting than that.
Because it’s him talking about this confluence of business events-- him "leaving” Image Comics, Marvel’s bankruptcy, Jeph Loeb coming to his house at 8am to tell him that Jim Lee is almost taking over Marvel Comics (which I’m not sure was established fact before, though I kinda vaguely remember that having been the rumor).  And little weird color on the story, like the time he sent future-Comicsgate impressario Dan Fraga to demand a check from a bankrupt Marvel before delivering Rob Liefeld Captain America pages to them (... and then turned around and tried to show editors his portfolio!!!!  Rob-- “good for him”-- me, too!!)  (Fraga’s a whole topic...).  Or Liefeld almost taking over Daredevil to do Teen Daredevil with Dan Fraga, and that almost being a thing...
But besides all that, a big part of what makes it all interesting to me is as much as he’s like “I’ve got the paperwork for all this,” there’s something about him that at least to me radiates unreliable narrator-- besides just that he’s talking a lot of shit about Todd McFarlane (who doesn’t put Todd over Rob?) (though Liefeld’s impression of McFarlane is pretty, pretty good) or that the books weren’t very good (Rob describing his Captain America run as his homage to the novels of Phillip K. Dick!!!!)(also: Liefeld describing getting story notes from Chuck Dixon, throwing those away, and then hiring Jeph Loeb instead) or you know, the Liefeld of it all.  (Though looking back at those pages-- a huge problem with Liefeld was (a) nearly the worst taste in coloring, all that Photoshop one-point-zero smeared on there, and (b) I think Liefeld needed a different inker, even though I like a Danny Miki or whoever...)
Just as a person who’s lived in the world, there’s just some red flags over there.   Not that Rob Liefeld’s like “hey want to do some contracts?”, but like.  There are definitely moments where I’m sitting here going “I wonder what *really* happened” that sort of add to the stew.  It’s not even the “I hung out with Tom Cruise” or the “I’ve been to Will Smith’s house” shit-- I enjoy his enthusiasms.  He just gives off vibes that he thinks of himself as the Main Character in a way that can be very difficult to deal with in certain situations...
The thing he only glances at that I want to know more about, though, is the Marc Silvestri - Jim Lee divorce.  Liefeld chalks that up to Lee being super-competitive (and... I mean, I think I’d say Silvestri’s the better artist at peak, but I’d say Lee had the longer run of being above-average... late-era Lee feels just sort of lifeless, dispassionate, but late-era Silvestri, I actively struggle with more-- that work with Morrison)(but pretty untouchable at peak, heir to John Buscema, etc).
In conclusion, comic books.

Closer than neighbours : Lee Juyeon
Genre: fluff, slight angst, drama, criminal au
Summary: When Juyeon is caught on camera from engaging in a 50 million dollar heist, every policeman in town is searching for him but his main problem lies with you.
Direct quote: “I’m not just the guy living across the street.”
Tumblr media
“When was the last time you saw him?” the policeman asked as he stood by the doorstep. It was roughly 5 am in the morning, you were exhausted especially because of the events of last night which had involved partying and drinking till dawn. You had literally just gone home minutes ago and jumped in bed for a few seconds before you heard the doorbell ring.
“Wait who are we talking about again?” You drowsily replied, receiving a groan from the officer standing in front of you.
“Lee Juyeon, your neighbour. I heard you were quite familiar with him.” The man was obviously annoyed. With a slight hint of attitude laced in his tone of voice and relentlessly tapping his shoe to the ground to convey his restlessness to find Juyeon and his impatience to deal with you, you weren’t having it. You should be the one annoyed, having to wake up way too early in the morning just to answer questions that they can’t seem to ask respectfully. You spare him a glare, trying to avoid anymore time wasted on answering questions than sleeping.
“I don’t know, 2 days ago?” The man writes it down on his little notepad.
“He hasn’t contacted you since then?”
“No. Look officer, I don’t know where you heard Juyeon and I were ‘familiar’ from but I can assure you, if he was ever in trouble or anything, I’d be the last person he’d ask for help from.” You respond casually and the officer only nods along with it, thankful to allow you to return to bed.
“Alright then, that’ll be all for today. If you have any other information, please feel free to contact us, good day.” The man walks off and you scoff at his automated response. You don’t let it bother you as you were too tired to feel anything as of right now. Whatever situation Juyeon had gotten himself into, you were concerned but the fact that he hasn’t bothered reaching out to you or ever mention the upbringing event of robbing a 50 million dollar diamond made you feel that your 10 years worth of being neighbours and friends meant nothing to him. You felt you and Juyeon weren’t as close as you thought and what makes it worse was that you never had the chance to talk him out of such a dangerous path, because you never knew. Shrugging away your thoughts and hopping into bed, you manage to catch at least 10 minutes of sleep until a loud thud wakes you up, causing you to suddenly sit up from your position.
That couldn’t have been the usual stray cat that typically visits and hops around the garbage bins. It sounded like an intruder that somehow managed to enter through the bathroom window. Immense fear spread through your body, releasing in the form of sweat. You weren’t prepared to take on a stranger, you didn’t have the energy. Grabbing the closest threatening object you found in your room, in your case, a wireless table lamp, you snuck over towards the bathroom where all the noise seemed to be getting louder and louder.
“Fuck!” You heard a very familiar voice grunting and whining through the hallways, nonetheless you tightenend your grip on the lamp, preparing to swing as you reach the bathroom door.
“Here goes,” you mumble to yourself, “1, 2, 3!”
You jump in the room, raising the lamp up in the air only to realize that nobody was inside. You stood in the center of the room confused and looking like an idiot.
Or so you thought until the bathroom door swung close and Juyeon stood behind hiding. You almost screamed from his sudden appearance reflected in the mirror but he covers your mouth almost immediately with his right hand, his other arm laced around your shoulders, roughly bringing your body towards him. Your cheeks redden from the heat of his body being pressed against yours and you pray to yourself that he doesn’t notice it.
He whispers in your ear, “if I let go, promise you won’t scream?” There was something different about the way he spoke. It wasn’t as soft or shy and awkward like he usually was, he sounded cold and minacious, which had you shuddering and convinced for a moment that he was as dangerous and fearful as the news portrayed him to be. You nod your head gingerly and he slowly releases his hold on you.
“So you saw the news about me?” he asked and you nod your head once again.
“Juyeon what is all this about? And why are you here? Why appear now? Do you know how shocked and worried I was to see you on TV? What’s going on?” You bombard him with questions and he raises both hands in the air to gesture for you to calm down.
“Look, you’re the only person I trust right now. I’d rather not say much about what’s happened but I need you to let me stay here until I find someplace else to lay low.” If Juyeon is going to break into your house especially if he’s now proclaimed as a serious threat to society and not want to tell you anything, you’re not going to accept his answer.
“You can’t just barge into my home unannounced, let you stay for a while and expect me not to ask questions. I’m worried about you Juyeon,” he looks you in the eyes once his name rolls off your tongue but you’re unable to make out the expression he’s giving you.
“Oh really? You’re worried?” He said rather harshly and sarcastically. You’re slightly hurt that he doubts you.
“Um yes, I care for you. Why are you saying it like that?”
“I don’t know, you tell me, you’re the one partying even when you know what I’ve been up to.” He responds, his voice beginning to sound incensed and aggressive.
A frown appears on your face and you’re starting to understand why he’s upset. You went partying yesterday night because you felt dejected from the fact that Juyeon hadn’t told you anything and your desire to forget about the possibility of never seeing him again because of the crime he committed. You could see how he may have taken your choice to have ‘fun’ under such circumstances the wrong way but you do believe he should try to understand your point of view.
“How did you even know I was out?” He shrugs whilst scowling and you sigh at his petty behaviour. There was nothing to be so stubborn about, he made it clear to you that your friendship was quite one sided. “Don’t get mad at me, first of all, I see you on the news and have no idea whether to believe you’d pull such a stunt. And second, you let me deal with the cops, everyone is forcing the idea that you’re a criminal down my throat and I’m confused whether I know you or not. Do I defend you or do I say nothing?” You can see his expression falter a little from guilt but he immediately hides it and continues to retaliate, returning the same level of firmness in your words.
“Of course you defend me, I’m not just the guy living across the street. We’re more than neighbours, I’m your friend. You do know me.” He pauses to observe your face briefly and gruffly adds, “Partying and getting wasted sure told me otherwise.”
He was turning it back on you and of course this only added to your frustration having to endure such a shitty morning.
“Why are we even arguing? All you’ve shown me is that I don’t know you at all. You’re a criminal now Juyeon! Think about it, are you even the same guy that buys me pens with adorable figurines and decorations on them? Am I supposed to believe that you’re still the person to cower in fear watching horror movies or a thief that stole a $50 million diamond?”
He fills the gap that seperated the two of you and engulfs you in a hug. “I’m sorry, it’s just..I don’t want the only person I trust to leave me. If I don’t have you then I don’t have anyone.” His voice tickles your ear making you smile and snuggle into his chest. His hold on you tightens and he closes his eyes, allowing the comfort of you being in his embrace consume him. “I’ll tell you everything and I won’t ever keep you in the dark again. Why don’t we talk in your room?” He suggests and you nod, playfully grabbing his wrist to lead him into your bedroom.
part 2? this honestly didn’t go the way i initially planned it to :(

Rob Zombie; "Why it's time to step outside the confinements of his own box."
For close to four decades,
Rob Zombie has brought nonstop psychedelic grooves and a rockstar presence while gracing his own music and the silver screen with gut-churning, drug-tripping visuals. He not only commands quite the presence in films (whether his own successes or others’), but also makes appearances within many other horror soundtracks. There’s no denying that Zombie is a bloodied savant who has stayed incredibly consistent.
Tumblr media
[ᴿᵒᵇ ᶻᵒᵐᵇᶦᵉ. ⁽ˢᵒᵘʳᶜᵉ: ᴳᵒᵒᵍˡᵉ ᴵᵐᵃᵍᵉˢ⁾]
(Written by Stella, edited by Jacob J.)
(Side note; tumblr’s photo formatting is a pain)
Let’s take a dive into his music before getting into his film library. From 1985-1997, White Zombie released six albums (between studio and compilations). La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One didn’t break into the Billboard 200 chart until a year after its 1992 release. Shortly thereafter, it became the hot and groovy bong success of the band, going on to sell two million copies. Astro Creep 2000, their final and fourth studio release, was their first and only album to chart within the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 in 1995. Up to this day in 2020, “White Zombie” has been featured in 47 TV, film, and video game soundtracks, from Beavis & Butthead to Pen15 to Bride Of Chucky (which includes a personal favorite moment of mine), amongst many others.
After the disbandment and separation, Zombie continued on his solo journey. He has gone on to release six studio albums, with a seventh on the way in March 2021, titled The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy. A multitude of hits—eight to be exact—sat within the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 records.
══════════════════
Zombie’s extensive film career is a “Super Beast” on its own.
He has been very vocal about gaining inspiration from 1920s-1980s horror culture. In many interviews, he’s cited Stan Lee, Bella Lugosi, Alice Cooper, and Steven Speilberg as being responsible for molding the brain that we know today.
Some of his influences include:
George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (1978)
A Clockwork Orange (1971)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920)
The Shining (1980)
Zombie’s upbringing in the carnival industry alongside his family is another key influence.
[[I’ll only be focusing on Zombie’s live-action films here.]]
══════════════════
In 2000, Rob made his directorial and (very memorable) screen debut with House Of 1000 Corpses.
It took three years to be released because of quarrels with major production companies regarding the film’s majorly aggressive themes of torture, blood, violence, sex—not to mention his arrogance with MGM, fighting to get rights back from Universal. Eventually, Lionsgate bit the bullet, albeit with the major stipulation of having Rob edit it down much further so House could pass with a “tame” R rating.

══════════════════
In 2005 and 2019, the franchise’s next two installments—Devil’s Rejects and 3 From Hell—were released. The franchise is heavily influenced by the shocking, sickening, and unforgettable ’70s classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It follows a family of psychotic, sadistic, and bloodthirsty (if I’m being honest) necrophiliacs. They kidnap, kill, torture and brutalize anyone who gets in their way. At the end of Devil’s Rejects, they somehow manage to survive a police shootout, escape prison, and waltz on into Mexico (as seen in the franchise finale 3 from Hell).
Look, it’s all complicated.
Main Characters from the franchise:
Captain Spaulding—Sid Haig
Baby Firefly—Sheri Moon Zombie
Otis B. Driftwood—Bill Moseley
Momma Firefly—Karen Black (recast as Leslie Easterbrook after Karen’s passing)
(Other notable appearances throughout: Chris Hardwick, Rainn Wilson, Danny Trejo, Dee Wallace, Ken Foree, and Diamond Dallas Page.)

The notorious/controversial Halloween (John Carpenter, 1978) remakes from 2007 and 2009.

Look, this is a remake that you either adore or hate with a burning passion. If you’re a horror fanatic, you know what’s up with the original.
I personally adore Zombie’s take. The fact alone that he gave us an entire background story as to why Michael became the psychotic slasher that we’ve come to know and love. Plus, with an increased suspense and gore factor? Worked incredibly well and did justice (in my opinion).
The film made me feel bad for Michael, with moments of child Myers in therapy, particularly his love for making masks to pass the time while he was locked up and the touching family moments between him and his mother Deborah (Sheri Moon).

Add in the supporting cast of Michael McDowell (Loomis), Brad Douriff (Sheriff Leigh), Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie Strode), etc., and I honestly think that it came together very well as a remake.
The films rated relatively low, but they did gross higher than the budgets that they originally had to film on. Again, I’m not going to give much attention to the higher-ups of critical perception—it all comes down to personal taste.

“Lords of Salem” (2013)
Tumblr media
[[Promotional art for Lords of Salem. (Souce: Google Images)]]
A film that’s centered within Salem, Massachusetts,
this film—you guessed it—tackles witches, occultism, possession, Satan, and all the usual topics. Heidi (Sherri Moon) is a radio DJ who gets sent a mysterious record that’s labeled as being from “The Lords.” From then on out, shit gets a little dicey and admittedly, very disjointed. You can’t fault the cast here, and I loved the visuals that they were going for. However, with set schedule conflicts and multiple rewrites, which led to essentially running out of time to film? As a whole, what looked great on paper just couldn’t be done justice.
My FAVORITE sequence within the film (SPOILERS):
youtube
I can forgive the disjointedness solely because of how mind-boggling and brilliant the film’s history and proper visuals were. Also, we got to see Dee Wallace, Judy Geeson, and Patricia Quinn as creepy and badass witches who moonlight as Heidi’s landlords. Also Meg Foster who leads their coven? Can we talk about what a femme-fueled power cast that is?!

Like I said prior, the film gets a little wild. If you’re...well, buzzed prior to watching, it may make a little more sense.

“31” (2016)
Tumblr media
[[Film poster for 31 (Source: Google)]]
[Synopsis from IMDB; “Five carnival workers are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, hellish compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive twelve hours against a gang of sadistic clowns.”]
Here, we clearly see that Zombie is invoking his childhood growing up within carnivals. In a 2013 interview with LA Weekly, Zombie divulged more about it:
“When we were kids, my parents would [work at the carnivals], and me and my brother would get dragged along to these things all the time and have to work.”
He went further on to say;
“Yeah, and it's not the nicest world. As a kid, you get exposed to the crazier underworld of the carnival. Me and my brother, when we were very little, we'd be inside the haunted house playing all day. So, already, what people are paying money to be scared [of], we're just playing in because it's fun. We saw the inner workings behind the machines.”
youtube
(”31″ trailer, source; Youtube)
Once again in this film, Zombie brings a powerhouse cast:
Jeff Daniel Phillips as Roscoe Pepper
Meg Foster as Venus Virgo
Malcom McDowell as Father Murder
Judy Geeson as Sister Dragon
Richard Brake as Doom Head
You can view the entire cast at IMDB here.
Set in 1976, Zombie stays true to his nods. Again, depending on taste, this is a huge hit or a wild miss with mindless homicidal violence, campiness, and climbs across the monkey bar of standards that we’re used to seeing from him.
══════════════════
So at this point, you’re probably wondering why I think that it’s time for Rob Zombie to step out of the confinements of his own box...
══════════════════
It’s no secret that Zombie sticks to only a small group of tropes:
Slashers, families or groups of homicidals that lack remorse, the occult, etc. There’s no shame in sticking to what you know. Hell, Zombie has seemingly cracked the code over the past two decades that he’s been in the film industry that so many directors still don’t seem to get.
IMO, despite whatever you personally feel about the films mentioned above- I feel like we’re living a freaky groundhog day repeat within Zombie’s filmography.
══════════════════
Now, if it ain’t broke, why fix it? Look, I’m not saying that Zombie has to change anything. However, I would love to see him tackle some other nuances that we’ve already seen from him in small doses.
- Children: We haven’t seen Zombie exactly take on what horror films depict kids as. Sure, he made a breakout and impeccable choice with young Michael Myers (Daeg Faerch) back in 2007. I personally would adore to see a reimagined (NOT remade) Children of the Corn on acid, one we all know Zombie can tackle and turn every existing view on its head.
- Witchcraft, The Occult, Satan, Voodoo:  Zombie genuinely had a phenomenal concept (on paper) for 2012’s Lords of Salem. It was unfortunate that they ran out of resources and ran into unfortunate circumstances on set while filming.
The film wasn’t a total tank, though, given how inspiring and insane all the visuals were throughout the 1 hr, 41min film. I am absolutely positive that, given a full-force opportunity, Rob could rectify the mess that was out of his control. We completely saw that he provided visuals that left quite the impression, and he could take those taboo subjects by the goat horns.
- Animals (not the human form): It’s no secret that Rob and his wife Sherri are ethical vegetarians. It would be so tongue and cheek to see them take on such topics as animals getting their revenge, or even vegetarians torturing carnivores. This twist on the formula would make for an interesting viewing.
══════════════════
2.) In regard to time periods,
Zombie stays within—and pays homage to—the 1970s and 1980s quite a bit. Obviously, those are the eras that Zombie personally loves the most when it comes to filmmaking. However, it would be very interesting to see him take on current day settings.
Zombie has such a unique viewpoint. Given changing climates in politics, human decline/growth, the economy, etc., he would do work that could easily put Ryan Murphy to shame.
══════════════════
3.) He could also do with some different casting every now and then.
Let me preface this by saying that I adore every repeat casting choice that Zombie has made for his films.
Of course chemistry is a huge thing, and sticking to his friends is a very smart choice. However, he also has the potential to make new stars, boosting the power of those that may be under the radar. He can support those new stars with cameos from classic actors that we haven’t seen in awhile. I can’t begin to even fictionally cast those who fit the bill, but I do believe that with the “Zombie Touch,” he can bring so much more fresh air to the usual casting.
══════════════════
There’s no doubting what Rob Zombie is clearly very good at. Despite mixed reviews from the horror world and critics, it’s time that his fans open their eyes to new possibilities. Of course, there are die-hards, but digging your feet in further doesn’t allow the growth of horror and its ever evolving themes.
Tumblr media
[[ʳᵒᵇ ᶻᵒᵐᵇⁱᵉ, ˢᵒᵘʳᶜᵉ﹔ ᵍᵒᵒᵍˡᵉ ⁱᵐᵃᵍᵉˢ]]
This theory has been on my mind for a very long time—since 3 from Hell came out. I’m sure, in his usual fashion, we won’t be seeing any new films from Rob anytime soon (what with his new album set to release in March 2021, not to mention the toll that the pandemic has had on Hollywood.)
Still, it never hurts to challenge the set standards and ways.

VANITY FAIR: VERONICA MARS on Hulu Will Be Darker, Sexier, and Stacked with Guest Stars
Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas preview the upcoming revival, from Veronica and Logan’s evolving relationship to what happens when spring break descends on Neptune.
Marc FreemanJune 20, 2019 8:00 am
Anticipating a one-way trip down nostalgia lane when Veronica Mars returns to television next month, via an eight-episode revival on Hulu? Prepare to be pleasantly disappointed.
It’s not that Veronica’s forgotten her past—it’s that she’s not in high school anymore. As series creator Rob Thomas said in an interview, this new iteration offers creative fulfillment and the chance for big character development: “I’m interested in the foibles of our characters, and living in a noir world where things aren’t black and white.”
You don’t have to be a Veronica Mars superfan—or a “Marshmallow,” as members of the fan base call themselves—to enjoy this new version, either. While Easter eggs aplenty populate the Neptune city landscape as the show returns, Thomas said he’s most focused on telling a great detective story.
So, what exactly should viewers expect? While compiling my oral history of the show’s original iteration, I also asked the cast and Thomas to brief audiences on what they’ll find when the series returns July 26.
Veronica has grown up
For Veronica, being an adult and acting like one are very different concepts. “You see a lot of TV and film drama stories of when men [have] to grow up,” Thomas said. “They have to be dragged into normal adult life. And a lot of what we’re doing this season is letting Veronica have that role. Not in a dumb, I want to play video games and hang out with my bros sort of way, but in an I find the adult world dull [sort of way].” Star Kristen Bell said that Veronica’s restlessness has placed her at a crossroads: “She is a woman figuring out what she wants out of the rest of her life, which are very different decisions than the ones you make when you’re 16. She sees the world differently. She’s a little more bitter now than when she was on the series.”
The father/daughter relationship remains at the heart of the show
Enrico Colantoni’s Keith Mars often acted like Veronica’s friend on the original series—but he was parental when he needed to be. Years later, his parenting responsibilities here have changed. As Colantoni pointed out, “When she was a young girl, it was all about protecting her, and making sure she’s okay and makes choices that manifest into a good healthy life. Now that she’s an adult, there’s only so much that he can stop her from doing.”
But their private eye business, Mars Investigations, is struggling
Keith ran Mars Investigations for justice, rather than for profit; Veronica thinks the business’s survival depends on finding room for both. “Keith doesn’t care enough about making money,” says Thomas. “Veronica’s the realist going, ’Hey dad, we have to fold tent if we don’t start making money’…. In some respects, it almost comes off like Veronica’s the boss.”
The LoVe (i.e. Logan + Veronica) connection remains complex
As the revival opens, Veronica and Logan—together at last—share a cramped 600-square-foot apartment on the beach with a big dog. “I wanted there to be no space—like when you get home, you’re on top of each other,” said Thomas. “Sometimes that’s great, and sometimes it’s maddening. And for somebody as independent as Veronica…”
In many ways, in fact, Logan has grown up more than Veronica has. Bell was the first to point out that “we have a new Logan on our hands. It’s something Veronica loves, is competing with, and annoyed by.” Jason Dohring, who plays Veronica’s partner, likes the new layers his character has developed: “There’s love and professionalism and duty,” he said. Thomas added that Logan has gone “the Officer and a Gentleman route,” which has given him the discipline to set him on a better path. Five years after the events of the Veronica Mars movie, “he’s continued to try and put his demons in the past, and he’s been largely successful at it,” said Thomas. But “Veronica, I think, likes her demons—[she] thinks they drive her.”
The revival focuses on a familiar theme: haves vs. have-nots
At its core, Neptune always exemplified a world in which the wealthy lived by their own rules and paychecks. This time, however, that contrast has been amplified: “The chain stores come in and replace the mom-and-pop places, and the beach changes, and the energy changes, and it’s no longer a small town,” said Colantoni. Adding fuel to the fire is the story’s time frame. “We come back in the middle of spring break, which is a huge melting pot for Neptune—and there’s all sorts of criminals who are not there usually, and all sorts of crazy people coming of age and testing their boundaries. And kids with throwaway money,” said Francis Capra, who plays Eli “Weevil” Navarro. “It’s a hyper-realized, exaggerated version of Neptune. You see the underbelly of the city—and wherever that is, Weevil’s not too far behind.”
The tone is darker too
“When we were on CW, you have to be safe,” said Bell. “This is Hulu. It’s a whole new ball game.” Thomas sees it as a natural evolution for the series: “We do not want to just keep making the same show we made 15 years ago. It’s certainly more adult. We get to swear. The sex scenes don’t look like CW makeout scenes. It looks like adults having sex.” This fits with his vision for the series as it evolves: “I am trying to turn the show from a CW soap opera with detectives to a detective show. I think we can keep making Veronica Mars as detective shows for a long time.”
Your favorite character is probably present and accounted for
The list includes Max Greenfield’s Leo D’Amato, who’s now in the FBI and in town to work a case; Ryan Hansen’s Dick Casablancas, who is “the king of Spring Break,” according to Hanson; Percy Daggs III’s Wallace Fennel, now a physics teacher and basketball coach married to a lawyer; Julie Gonzalo’s Parker Lee; and Ken Marino’s Vinnie Van Lowe—among others.
There are new cast members as well
Izabela Vidovic joins the series as Matty Ross, a teenager who suffers a tragedy and brings out a whole new side to Veronica. “That was an incredible dynamic to add,” said Bell. “It was fun to let Veronica explore her maternal instincts, which she is barely in tune with—but Matty brings them out. It’s just a whole new dynamic for Veronica to care about a younger person, to genuinely care about another person.” Also look for recognizable faces like Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons and comedian Patton Oswalt as…a Patton Oswalt type.
“When you go in to pitch a show, you get prototypes—like ‘a pizza driver on the wrong side of 40 still delivering pizzas who witnesses this first bomb and becomes obsessed with it,’” Thomas explained. “We’re thinking like, a Patton Oswalt role. You never expect to get those people—but we did with Patton and J.K.… J.K. is a key player. He plays a guy who served time in Chino at the same time as Big Dick Casablanca. He helps him survive prison in exchange for a job on the outside.”
This may not be the last we see of Veronica Mars
Neither Bell nor Thomas wants this to be Veronica’s swan song. According to Bell, “I don’t think the show is anywhere near its end.” Thomas concurred. “I want to tell good detective stories for people, whether they watched Veronica Mars when it was on UPN/CW or not…. I felt great doing these eight episodes, and hope to continue feeling great about it for a long time.”

Years of depression has prepared me very well for the current state of affairs which is weird but whatever here’s a list of my faves on netflix, if I’m missing something let me know cause now’s the time, right?
I'm kinda embarrassed by how long this list is but also kinda like fuck that, there have been very long periods of time where it was either sit and watch shows all day or lie down and stare at the wall in silence all day so I chose the former and it adds up and there's nothing wrong with that.
Glow (Badass ladies learn to wrestle, great 80s aesthetics and grrrrl power.)
Our Planet (Netflix version of Planet Earth, beautiful, cute, terrifying that we aren’t doing more to save us all.)
Bojack Horseman (Hilarious and “deep” critique of LA and celebrity culture for people who don’t care about LA or celebrity culture. Also very funny visual jokes about how if animals were also kinda humans, and lots of great jokes about cliches and tropes, puns, and weirdly rhyming and alliteration? I don’t know how to explain it just watch it.)
Father Brown (BBC, based on mystery novels about a priest who always meddles in police business and solves murders in his small English countryside town.)
Pose (The Ball scene in NY in the 80s, poc queer and trans writers and actors bringing their people’s stories to life. So much joy, so much beauty, but also NYC in the 80s so you will cry.)
Paris is Burning (Documentary made during the Ball scene Pose is based on.)
Sex Education (Such empowering representations of all walks of gender and sexuality, and actually very educational, like I would straight up show this in schools because everyone would be very entertained and would learn a lot more than they teach in a lot of schools.)
What Happened Miss Simone (Documentary about Nina Simone’s life, music and the activism the establishment/ government worked to suppress and used to blacklist her.)
Night on Earth (Low light camera technology has gotten hella good and they’re starting to learn stuff about animals’ behaviors at night that they’ve never been able to study before.)
Call the Midwife (Follows stories from the midwives that worked in the East End of London after the war, based on memoirs. Interesting look at the kind of life of poverty people led before there were many large hospitals or birth control, right as the British were implementing their universal healthcare program.)
The Great British Baking Show (Everyone’s so nice and everything looks so good!)
Atypical (Dramady about a high schooler with autism and his family, very funny and great representations of autism and how to be a good dude.)
Parks and Recreation (Just very funny and everyone knows it. Amazing ensemble cast, and they still keeps in touch through a group chat awww doesn’t that say something!)
Kim’s Convenience (Canadian comedy about family of first and second gen Korean immigrants that’s just a really solid funny modern day sitcom.)
Queer Eye (I feel like if everyone in this world could get a life makeover from these guys we just wouldn’t be here right now.)
Obvious Child (Jenny Slate accidentally gets pregnant and gets an abortion. It’s funny and it’s realistic, we’re not all Juno.)
Maria Bamford: the Special Special Special (Rad lady comedian not afraid to talk about her mental health and lack thereof and very vocal about the stigma surrounding mental health problems and I very much relate to. My favorite standup probably ever. I could make a list just for standup so message me if you’d like more suggestions.)
Monty Python (Flying Circus, movies, doc, ect. “The Beatles of comedy” is the cliche but it's true.)
Easy (Very unconventional non-narrative structure and editing, following random people in Chicago in a very real life feeling way. Different story each episode, but sometimes characters show up briefly in each other’s lives or return for a second episode.)
Everything Sucks! (High school nerds and lesbians and theater geeks in the 90s! I’m so sad this only got one season I rewatched it recently and it’s just so solid.)
She’s Gotta Have It (Revival of Spike Lee’s first movie, black girl magic, art world, gentrified New York, lots of sex.)
The Office (Classic, holds up very well, totally solid throughout, worth a rewatch. Also if you're a fan Jenna Ficher and Angela Davis are doing a rewatch podcast jsyk.)
Billy on the Street (Mindless game show for laughs, amazing gay comedian runs around New York yelling questions at them. I watch this with my dad and he can’t help but snort even when it’s “inappropriate” or “juvenile” so you know it’s good.)
Good Girls (Some lower middle class family ladies that are all about to be broke decide to rob the grocery store one of them works at, but they accidentally cross a gang that stored their cash there, so they gotta pay it back, and of course can’t help but get deeper and deeper into it. Very suspenseful like your heart rate will go up and stay up. )
Arrested Development (It’s just funny, as you've probably heard, but I'm telling you it just really is.)
The Laundromat (Tells the stories of a few of the people involved in the panama papers in different ways, explains in an entertaining way how money laundering works in a way that made it mostly make sense even to me. The rich get richer, and Meryl Streep is here to tell them to fuck off and pay their taxes.)
Russian Doll (She keeps dying and coming back to the same moment over and over and can’t figure out how to stop the cycle or why so kinda sci fi, very suspenseful, big cliff hanger ending, or rather no ending, and just found out season two filming is delayed because virus which is very annoying!!)
Dear White People (Show picking up where the movie left off, after a frat hosts a black face party and the ivy league college is forced to deal with racism.)
Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings (Stories based on Dolly songs. Very Hallmark channel, you will cry.)
Episodes (Show about two British writers making a version of their BBC show for American tv. Kind of meta, very funny, Matt LaBlanc plays himself and it's great.)
Dumplin’ (Fat girl grows up with a beauty pageant winning mom and enters one herself with the help of her late aunt’s Dolly Parton drag queen friends.)
Lunatics (Chris Lilley is the best character actor ever, all his shows are just him playing different parts and you seriously forget it’s all one actor, even when he’s playing teenage girls.)
Jane the Virgin (Prime time soap opera about a girl who is engaged and waiting until marrige and is accidentally inseminated with the only sperm sample of a man who’s had cancer so decides to keep the baby, very heavy on the soap opera cliches in a meta way but also that’s what it is. So good at first but after the first three or so seasons it gets too much tbh though.)
Zumbo’s Just Desserts (Australian Bake show but with just sweet stuff and pressure to be avant garde.)
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (Jerry Sienfeld goes out with funny people to coffee and lunch in fancy cars and they have funny conversations.)
One Day at a Time (Very very cheesy laugh track sitcom, like the kind of thing my grandma would watch, but it makes me so happy it’s doing a great job eplaining really woke concepts like queer pronouns and ptsd and addiction and white privilege to people like my grandma!)
Orange is the New Black (Good stories about very diverse characters, I’d say by starting it off about a upper middle class white girl it tricks privileged white people into watching and then encountering the more realistic stories of women who go to prison and how the system treats prisoners. Ending of season two is super solid and you can stop it there, season three is a really great critique of the privatization of prisons. I admit it goes on and on to the point that it’s stressful and after watching it spread out over years I can’t remember/ keep up with all the different story lines, though they’re all good stories to tell.)
Space Jam (Just saw while scrolling for more ideas this was added! One of the greatest sports movies of all time obviously.)
Bonus amazon prime shows, I try to avoid Amazon in general but these are just too good if you know a prime member who you can't convince not to give their money to amazon so they might as well give you their login (like yer dad).
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (A 1950s New York upper class Jewish house wife gets dumped and starts doing stand up, so funny, great actors, and they seriously transform NY back into another era.)
Good Omens (Mini series based off Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s satirical novel about the biblical apocalypse, very funny, very smart, very British, does the book pretty solid justice.)
There are other decent things that aren’t included, I’d say these are solid recs for a general list of genres all over the map without letting it get to a ridiculously unhelpful length. I feel like I’d be good at the “if you like this then you’ll also like…” so let me know if some of these are your favorites too and want personal recs for what to watch next based on a brain instead of an algorithm.
If you want to have a remote date and watch things together on video chat or one of those watch party sites or just tell me what to watch next here’s some stuff on my list I’ve been curious about or not sure about or don’t want to watch alone or have been putting off, and now’s the time right?: Strangers Things, I Am Not Okay With This, Black Panther, The Betty White doc, John Mulaney Snack Lunch Bunch, Dead to Me, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, A Wrinkle in Time, The Little Prince, Maniac, Wet Hot American Summer reboots, and a bunch of different standup specials from comedians I like.

Magnificent Seven (1960) warning heavy spoilers ahead
Okay, compadres you ready? I’m leaving a few things out cause some of it just doesn’t make sense but for the most part, I didn’t leave anything out so that means there is a lot of cursing so be prepared for that
(Okay I got cookies, plans to make popcorn later and the Seven stupidest men ever about to come on my screen yeehaw mfs)
(This theme song is a bop, Elmer Bernstein is a genius)
Huh wonder who’s the bad guy, can’t be the dude in red (haha jk he’s an ass)
“I’ll be back” (what is he the Terminator)
“Stupid” well yeah the guy running at you with a machete (?) wasn’t the smartest but you didn’t have to kill him
I actually love how everyone is wearing white (like yeah I know white doesn’t absorb sun well so that’s why) it just makes everything really picturesque and almost heavenly you know
All these guys have fantastic ideas about how to take care of the problem and the head honcho is like ‘really tricking the man who just shot one of our own is not going to work don’t be stupid’
“Let's go ask the old man” we about to get Godfather in this bitch
(It was a machete hell yeah I knew it)
“Buy guns?” “Go to the border guns are plentiful there” Dude that hurts but it’s very very true
(There are so many parallels to the pilot I love it)
We getting racist in this bitch and in rides, Chris like the suicidal idiot he is and Vin is just like I’ll help you go bury an Indian who deserves proper respects like the man we know and love (ugh love this)
Literally used his boot to light a match, Chris stop being extra
And the whole town is following them like it’s the best thing to happen since… I don’t know a herd of cows came through town… (Man aren’t we lucky for the internet)
Love how the second Vin hears a slur Chris is like hold your horses buckaroo it’s just the wind (cause apparently the wind is racist all of a sudden)
Who is this person following them like a puppy (Jd anyone, although I know that’s not his name in the movie but he sure is acting like it)
Well, the graveyard scene left two people bleeding and no other corpses than the one they started with. Larabee, Tanner, and Jackson should take notes
“We think you’re a man we can trust” Bitch I wouldn’t trust Chris as far as I can throw him (I love him but the boy doesn’t have a great track record)
What’s with the fuchsia bag did they even have fuchsia back then? (Apparently fuchsia came to America in 1892 so I don’t know)
“Every man wears a gun” “Sure, like wearing pants, its expected” good lord Chris
What kind of clapping game is this
I really don’t understand Craps
These guys are just mocking Vin about going to work at a grocery store and I’m living for it
And Chris you got three including yourself, Harry and Vin learn to count idiot
Those two just get off their horses with such grace I could watch that 100 times and still be entranced
“I heard you’re broke” “Nah I’m doing this because I’m an eccentric millionaire” (Good lord O’Reilly, he is now a new fave of mine)
What the fuck is up with Chris’s hips like why is he swaggering like some hotshot
And if O’Reilly is so expensive what the fuck did he do with the money to make him end up dirt poor and cutting wood
Britt has the longest, lankiest legs I have seen on a man in a very long time
What game were they playing bullets are expensive stop messing around
Oh no the kid’s drunk and mad wonder what the hell he’s gonna do (probably something stupid)
This bitch with his wacky accent I can’t take him seriously, he just needs to chill
Okay I didn’t mean for you to collapse
Chris just fucking left him on the floor good lord
Okay everyone needs to dial the sass from 150 to a nice steady 50 cause damn
The kid is so so stupid, and Harry is just as worried about him as Buck was it's sweet
“What a chucklehead” (good lord I feel that)
Wtf the kid just caught a fish with his bare hands (that might take him out of the running for being Jd who couldn’t catch a fish even if it was handed to him)
Okay the TV show is just full of idiots, the movie makes them out to be brilliant assholes and I don’t know which one I prefer
Okay who names their child Hilario like that just isn’t right (like it’s fine but it’s too close to hilarious for me to take it seriously)
The kid is such a fucking ass, can someone shoot him for me like fuck
(Guys just to keep you in the loop I’m not even an hour in)
Look its Lanky legs Mcgee (aka Britta filter aka Britt)
The kid needs a baby sitter
Surprise surprise the kid did something stupid, (no really I’m shocked, not)
Kid, don’t do it I know it’s a bull and bulls are cool but don’t be fucking stupid playing bullfighter
Kid, she did not try to take your eye out she just slapped you (well deserved I might add) and what do you mean you’ll bite back what are you doing
WTF KIDDO WILL YOU QUIT AND DRINK SOME RESPECTING WOMEN JUICE
She’s wearing pants- is that accurate
Vin is sipping that juice like a good boy
The boys are so sweet and it makes me emotional
The old guy is gonna die isn’t he
Here we go ya’ll it’s about to get serious
Seriously don’t throw a hissy fit cause Chris tells you to go away
Love that the guns seem authentic (makes me happy)
(Plus the horse actors are doing fantastic the trainers should be proud)
Kid what are you doing, that’s a good way to accidentally step on your hat
Oh fuck here we go again
Chico is literally going to get shot if he isn’t careful (Chico is the kid btw)
Oh God I love these kids “if you get killed we’ll avenge you and put fresh flowers on your grave” plus they drew straws (how is that not just the best thing you’ve ever heard)
Chico, the girl obviously likes you (don’t know why, you’re an idiot, but extremely cute just saying)
(I fucking HATE the new hat it fills me with rage)
Wait a diddly darn minute did Chico just infiltrate the gang with that stupid hat
Awww my poor boy nightmares are the worst
O’Reilly is such a Dad and I love him
Harry will you quit before Chris kills you or I do it myself
This better be the last time cause lord I just wanna see him dead
Chris looks like he’s gonna whack a bitch when Calvera says he’ll give him a pardon
Oh no Chico is gonna do something idiotic- thank god Chris is there
O’Reilly is adorable- and has some goddamn sense and is willing to use violence (spanking of minors which I don’t exactly approve of) to show that being a gunhand is coward’s work
“In Texas, only Texans can rob banks” wow did he just call our government and the whole state of Texas racist (yes I think he did)
Chico has some issues that he needs to see a therapist for (guess Chris will do though he needs about as much counseling)
By the way, Lee is the future Judge Travis if you guys didn’t know (Thank you Amazon- you might be all kinds of crap but hey at least you are informative)
Harry you dirty rotten coward
Here we go once more, my dudes
Vin get yourself taken care of and go home-
Harry that wasn’t helpful at all
Why is everyone getting hurt all of a sudden
Chris don’t lie to him it makes me feel bad
And stop breaking glass it’s hella expensive
Lee you stupid son of a bitch
This is a blood bath I don’t like it
 Britta Filter NOOOOOOOOOOOO
I DON’T LIKE THIS GAME ANYMORE I DON’T LIKE THIS I DON’T LIKE THIS I DON’T LIKE THIS FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
The old man lives wtf (I’m glad don’t get me wrong, but it still hurts my soul)
Three lived I don’t like this,
Chico, I swear to God you and her’s kids are gonna be adorable don’t fuck this up
Everything hurts
Well I’m in extreme emotional distress but you know I think I’ll be okay, now before we start with the show I gotta go water some plants- may be using my tears cause ow wasn’t expecting that ending
