A Love Letter Unrequited

As a writer, I love love. Like, insanely so. A love story is the ultimate adventure that I want to read and write for as long as I'm able.

Give me unrequited yearning, give me soul mates falling in love before they've even kissed because they have in every other universe, give me heartache that hurts so much they lose themselves because they need the other, give me a couple that feel more like themselves when they're together than apart.

I want Mr Darcy's "you have bewitched me, body and soul", Mr Knightley's "If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more", Kaz Brekker's "I would have come for you", Hozier's "no grave can hold my body down, I'll crawl home to her", I want "he is half of my soul, as the poets say" and "anything for my moony" and "I forgave the world the day that I met you".

Give me that shit and it will EAT. IT. UP. If someone ever said this stuff to me then I would cave immediately.

I have come to expect more from love than I will ever get, so I have resigned myself to writing the love I want and feeling joy in reading about other people's grand romances.

if anyone actually reads my blog they KNOW i’m gonna mention petals on the moon by wasia project. i just adore that song and wasia project so dearly.

i also have been listening to guts a lot !!! (despite just being Waitlisted for tickets. Sigh) my fave songs are probably love is embarrassing, ballad of a homeschooled girl and all-american bitch :]

also got back into listening to paper mache world by matilda mann religiously like i did when hstv s1 dropped and it does Not get old. such a good song it’s def my favourite one from the soundtrack !!
