For a minute, Eddie thinks that this is the end of their conversation. Eddie’s not sure whether or not he’s grateful for that. He takes a swig from his drink, a little grateful for the way the alcohol burns down his throat.

you mumble out apologies as you curl onto the bed as steven makes his way to the bed softly sitting down next to you. gently steven leans down kissing your forehead as hot tears fall down your face, your head pounding as you shove your face into the pillow. steven starts to prod about what happened only getting small whines in return that tells him to stop for the night, before he can ask if you want anything you put your head in his lap. "m, really sorry steven,," is all he hears before he quickly shuts it down, "love you dont have to be sorry for anything, you didnt do anything wrong. you're gonna get better i promise my dear.",, "promise?" you tentatively respond with as you peak up at his face your voice mumbled by your drowsiness and the way your face pressed against stevens sweater. "I promise, love." is all you hear before you try to dry off your tears and his sweater. "id ask if your hungry but im not sure if this the time." steven laughs out he's obviously nervous, most people are when a loved one tries to kill themselves, but its sweet it helps you remember that he really does care the thought makes you faintly smile before mumbling 'that you arent that hungry' before steven nods gently petting your head as you drift off to sleep again.
