I got my Mollymauk and Jester Oracle deck! And since there are some blank cards, I decided to try my hand at designing one!
This is Gravity & Potential
Gravity: Temptation. Being drawn in. Forces outside of one’s control. Heaviness or weight.
Potential: Redemption. Having control over one’s fate. Making choices. Looking towards the future.
Woodworker and Wolf

As some of you already know, I am working on a Disenchantment Tarot Deck (Rider Waite Smith based) which is almost complete (all the 78 cards).
It's not the easiest thing to do, because all the images I am using are stills and official artworks from the cartoon, so I have to find a way to fit every image with every card in a way that makes sense. And as a professional Tarot reader, I try to be faithful and loyal to the meanings and symbolisms of the cards and also my work.
One person who told me Elfo should be The Fool (and I agree, already had a Fool card for him that I left the idea behind, but why not posting 2 representations, right?!). But the reason I choose The Jester is not only because he is literally the fool, but also unlike Elfo, Jester is not appearing everytime on the deck (there are literally 2 images on the internet where he graphically looks acceptable to be part of this deck).
I still am struggling to find a great quality picture of Malfus, I want him to be part of the deck as The Hermit, it's the only major arcana I haven't done yet because of the lack of good quality images.
You can see that there are two High Priestess. The Bean one is supposed to be a joke, because that convent moment in the episode made me cry of so much laughing, one of the most iconic moments of the whole show to me! Arch-Druidess is officially the High Priestess anyways...
I also posted two versions of The Lovers. Again, even tho I love both of them I am more of a tradicionalist. I got a picture where shows King Zog very tense in between Oona and Dagmar and to me that would be the PERFECT representation of The Lovers, but the image really did not fit the frame of the card, that's why I choose a scene between Mora and Bean. Which one did you like the most?
Let me know your thoughts so far on this work. Thank you so very much for all the attention given! <3

Man. I just can't help but imagine Critical Role x Baldur's Gate 3 drabbles or a fic or something of that some sort. Idk, I just think it'd be really funny and also a chance for some really cute scenes. Especially with the Mighty Nein.
Now obviously there'd probably be SO much mistrust between the two groups, but just imagine if you will(possibly very minor spoilers under the cut):
Caleb and Gale(and maybe Essek) talking about wizard stuff and cats.
Jester introducing everyone to Artagan. I think Astarion would either like him or fucking hate him.
Karlach, Yasha, and Beau just working out together. Buff lesbians
Fjord and Wyll bonding over shitty patrons. If it's post Ukatoa then Fjord giving Wyll some hope about his situation. I just think it'd be sweet.
Caduceus and Halsin. That's it. I think they'd talk for literally HOURS, just drinking tea and talking about random shit and their respective circles 'n such. ALSO, I'm just imagining them sort of gossiping about and spilling their respective party's secrets to eachother. They'd be silly lol
Jester overhearing the whole convo with Astarion and Tav(if there's a tav in this??) about him not being able to see his reflection and immediately getting to work drawing a portrait of him. As soon as she shows and gives it to him, he's his usual sorta sassy self about it but he absolutely cherishes it.
Also I feel like Astarion would see different bits of his own past in some of the Mighty Nein, specifically Caleb and Yasha, and it'd piss him the FUCK off.
Jester and/or Molly reading the groups fortunes just for fun, the Oracle of the Moon Deck has some cards that would make the groups fortunes REALLY INTERESTING. Maybe Molly also pulls out some of the old circus tricks for fun.
On the topic of Molly, I think Lae'zel would have this very confusing respect for Molly? She'd find them really foolish at first and not think much of them, but I think she'd then see them actually in combat and be impressed with their skills.
I feel like Nott/Veth would just start mothering some of the bg3 party. Like not heavily, but a bit similar to how she does with Caleb. I could def see her pairing up with Astarion to steal some shit. Maybe King joins in if he's there.
Jester giving some of the group tattoos. Not everyone would get them obviously but I could definitely see Karlach and I suppose Tav going for it.
Nein Sided Tower shenanigans. That's all.

Okay but I really do love how Molly and Jester's collaboration on the deck lets us see how they view themselves, each other, and the world around them. It's so lovely to see their different interpretations and insight behind the inspiration of each card. They even both created a Caleb card that we can compare:
"The Fool: The actor. The hero. Cleverness."
"Dawn: There’s always hope. And darkness leads to light…"
Molly standing triumphantly over all the bloodshed of a battlefield, happy and free and foolish, haloed in a crown of glowing stars. Jester drawing Mollymauk as a golden dawn rising over death. The way these two cards visually mirror each other so well and evoke a sense of death and rebirth.
Of course it's the card Jester drew for Molly that leaves Lucien so shaken, that reaches out and strikes a cord with Mollymauk's heartbroken soul shard. Death and Dawn. Jester continuing the lifelong art project of a dear friend, carrying on the story he started. A lovingly handcrafted deck passing into another's hands and then finding its way back to Mollymauk again at the very end. A cycle, a rebirth, a light in the darkness.
"Joy: Play. Delight. Dance. Festivity. Poetry. Song."
"The Maiden: Youth. Innocence. Exuberance. Cupcakes."
I love how these cards have such similar meanings. Molly gives Jester the virtue name Joy, and it's so reminiscent of how she chose her own because, "I thought jesters made people happy." And I can't help but think of how, when Molly first called Jester Joy, she nodded excitedly and gave him the biggest hug. Because she knew that, somewhere deep down, he really did remember her.
Jester depicts herself with a dark mirror, a pair that couldn't be more different. But in this context, Chaos really seems more complimentary to Joy. Another aspect of it. The way Molly sees it, even Jester's reverse meaning is full of excitement and whimsy. And it's a fun coincidence that Jester's depiction of Isharnai was inspired by a moment that was indeed sheer chaos.
"The Magician: Magic, beyond mortal understanding."
"Blaze: Sometimes there are consequences. Sometimes they hurt."
Where Molly draws Caleb as light, in Jester's card he is fire. Mollymauk depicts Caleb illuminated by orbiting lights, and it makes Jester's interpretation of him as a dark silhouette all the more striking.
Molly drawing the rest of the Nein their own cards, but making sure to keep Caleb and Nott together. A matching set. It's such a touching thought, to depict one of Caleb's relationships when he was always so withdrawn and desperate to remain detached--at least, when Molly knew him. But Caleb and Nott, thick as thieves, of course Mollymauk makes sure they're not alone.
Caleb is magical to Molly--and perhaps inscrutable--but there's also a sense of wonder, Mollymauk captivated by the charm of something as simple and beautiful as Dancing Lights. It's Caleb in his element. Mollymauk never cared about anyone's past, never let anyone be defined by it. So of course he leaves that out of Caleb's card. The Magician is only how Mollymauk sees him here and now, because that's all that matters to him.
But Jester, who has been traveling with Caleb for months, started to learn more of his story and see him gradually open up, she shows the grief and loss that Caleb has been working to overcome for so long. But even in the midst of fire, there is hope. There is a Blaze, but he is also a Spark--the same loving endearment Caleb's own parents gave him.

Critical Role - Tarot of Inspiration
Inspired by the Deck of Many Things and the Deck of the Moon from Critical Role, here is a set of alternate inspiration cards for 5th Edition. You can even use standard playing cards: 2, J, Q, K, A from each of the suites.
So I’m a huge Critical Role fan and recently got Mollymauk and Jesters Oracle of the Moon tarot cards. Then I saw the new Book of Many Things release from D&D and the inspiration table for the deck of many things. Naturally, I decided to combine them so you too can have an alternate version of inspiration whether you have a regular set of playing cards, the Critical Role moon deck, or the new…

So we made the mistake of getting back into Yugioh and I've accidentally decided to build a deck that is SUPER META-RELEVANT XD
I just wanted to run Despia because weird theatre people in masks, and then there were DRAGONS involved and then I accidentally the whole thing because "terrible theatre people who let you fuse bishies to summon dragons" is just so incredibly my brand... And it's also apparently super strong XD

I have waited over a year and a half for this and my goodness did they not disappoint. The art on them is beautiful and features characters and the gold and purple theme is pretty. Plus the added blank cards to make your own is such a nice touch!

My second card in the Mollymauk and Jester Oracle deck!
This is Woodworker and Wolf
Woodworker: Creativity. Passion. Hard work. Work ethic.
Wolf: Letting the inner beast loose. Risk taking. Wild side.
I really wanted to make a Chetney card because I feel like he embodies a specific duality of creativity, freedom, and also danger, yet one he embraces and is unabashed about. His true inner self. Also I mean he’s a werewolf. That’s just cool lol.

So...
I was told by the Reddit community that the old font was better and that it fits better with the TV show.
And I thought Elf would also make a good Fool, so I posted this creation I discarded because why not having 2 versions, right?! Which one you like the most?
The Disenchantment Tarot Deck is almost done, with all the 78 cards and Rider Waite-Smith based! (:

Happy Fool's Day!
Today is a day some choose to honor Tricksters. This is a day many Lokeans and other Norse pagans honor Loki with offerings and rituals (and some with pranks). Last year, I talked a bit about the Joker card and the Joker. Today, we'll talk about The Fool. But first, a bit of trivia...
Years ago, I was inspired by this and went looking for a pagan connection to the holiday. The origins appeared to be political. The closest ancient celebration a Roman holiday called Hilaria, a spring festival associated with the cult of Cybele that was usually held around March 25. The festivities involved processions and masquerades, including people disguising themselves as fellow citizens and nobility.
Now, The Fool... (I'm including the my Fool as the image card -- I truly love that He's carrying a sprig of mistletoe. Hail Loki!)
Often considered naive, impulsive, and "foolish", the Fool is a risk taker, ready for adventure, completely unaware and unconcerned about the obstacles and dangers ahead. In fact, in a number of decks, The Fool is not watching where he/she is going and is blissfully unaware that they are about to step off a cliff. Some similar traits have been attributed to Tricksters -- impulsive, unconcerned about the consequences of Their actions until those consequences are staring Them directly in the face... I love The Fool! The Fool is ready to begin a new journey, open to the wisdom and growth the journey offers. The Fool asks you to take a leap of faith, to trust the journey, trust yourself, trust that, even though the path is winding and dangerous (and it is... life isn't safe! Life is dangerous), the Trickster has your back!
That next step is... ahem... Well, that next step will be worth it... 😉
So, Happy Fool's Day to my Tricksters! (Lucifer has a trickster aspect as well.)
Hail Loki! I love You!
Hail Lucifer! I love You!

Do you think Lucien ever read that letter Caleb left at Mollymauk's grave. Do you think that shard of Mollymauk's soul still tied to him ever knew that Caleb asked him to come and find them--that he still hoped for "reunion."
Do you think Lucien tore up Mollymauk's letter out of spite. Or that a part of him was terribly tempted to keep it, latched onto it like that all too familiar four-leaf clover. Do you think Lucien couldn't help feeling envious that this little part of him was so loved, buried with all these little tokens from friends, family, those he was closest to--and Lucien was left buried alone in a shallow grave with nothing at all--

The Missing Card
Introducing: Jester!Yuu
Tumblr media
(You have no idea that I've had this image saved for over a year and a half and I'm so excited to finally use it. Call me a clown fucker if you want I'm in love.)
It's about time we finish the Heartslabyul card deck.
Tumblr media
A "standard" deck of playing cards consists of 52 Cards in each of the 4 suits of Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs. Each suit contains 13 cards: Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King.
But something is missing.
A card that despite what you think isn't in the traditional deck at least not originally. A blank card printed by mistake that became something more.
The Jocker had made its way to the deck and now the trump card that either makes or breaks the game lives on.
There is a special rule at Heartslabyul. One that Riddle loaths to acknowledge. The contradiction to everything he knows.
It is the Jester's privilege to be exempt from the rules of the courts.
It's a rule that many don't read and it's for the best that no one knows how to be a Jester.
What is a court without its fool?
Tumblr media
They met at exactly 12 pm during afternoon tea.
They sat sideways in the queen's chair happily eating tarts.
"You! How dare you sit in my chair and show such flagrant disrespect for the rules of this dorm!" Riddle shouted pointing at the colorfully dressed student.
Said student looked over the table at the group of assembling crowd of students who were arriving for the tea party.
Smiling wildly they did a somersault across the table and landed in front of the drom leader.
"I have arrived my queen! Your new and approved jester of your court!" They said spinning before falling into a low bow. The bells and ribbons braided into the hair fluttering around them.
Riddle got a good look at this "jester" and they certainly looked the part. The star painted over their eye and the black and red costume fit Heartslabyul like a glove. Their upper lip was painted black and their lower a bright scarlet. It was garish but beautiful.
"Approved? Who approved a clown like you to be a jester!" Riddle ordered.
Ace and Deuce looked in opposite directions as he said this.
Tumblr media
It wasn't intentional but Ace and Deuce had run into a street performer in the town near the school.
"Come one, come all and see the show!" They said balancing on a giant ball juggling pins.
They sang, did tricks, played music, did magic tricks, and all around entertained the crowd.
Ace and Deuce were mystified by the show so much they ended up watching the whole thing.
When it ended the performer tanked everyone as they began to pack up.
"Hey, where did you learn those tricks?"Ace didn't want to miss the chance to learn a few new card tricks.
"You must be an amazing wizard! I didn't even see you wave a wand!" Deuce innocently.
"Dude, they obviously just used tricks and not magic." Ace sighed.
The performer laughed. They told them they did shows to earn money while at school.
"It's easy to put on a show but real magic isn't something I can do. Sucks when you go to a magic college but I think it's fun." They smiled.
"Wait you go to NRC? I've never seen you before." Ace asked trying to remember their face.
"Ace? What are you talking about? We sit next to each other in Trein's class." They covered their mouth giggling.
Suddenly it clicked.
"Yuu?! You're Yuu?!" Ace yelled incredulously.
Yuu was just some quiet kid that didn't say much. The only thing that stood out about them was just how dull they were. Not that Ace said that to them. Yuu kind of just blended into the background.
"In the flesh!~♡ I was wondering when you'd notice." They said cheerfully.
"Well you are always with Grimm it's hard to put it together," Ace said rubbing his neck
"Yeah, you don't stand out at all otherwise-" Deuce began before Ace slapped his hand over his mouth.
"It's okay, I know how people see me. But I can hardly walk around in costume around campus no matter how fun it sounds." Yuu pouted absent-mindedly shuffling a deck of cards that appeared out of nowhere. "If I could go all out and do shows whenever school would be more fun."
"You're telling me. Having a personal clown would make Riddle's scolding bearable. Man that would be funny if you'd pie him in the face." Ace cackled at the thought. "You'd make a good...what's it called...oh, a fool."
"A fool? You mean like a royal jester?" Yuu asked pursing their lips in thought.
"Yeah, you could really take Riddle down a peg if you were. Honestly, morale gets so low when he's in a bad mood. He needs to have more fun." Ace ranted unknowingly giving Yuu an idea.
Deuce nodded in agreement as he examined Yuu props. The top hat looked pretty cool on him.
"Actually that sounds fun. I think I'll make a great jester!" Yuu laughed heartily.
They had no idea what chaos they had welcomed to Heartslabyul.
